The Ketsujo 13 were a series of test subjects who all exhibited a single similarity; Healing. The first batch were all taken against their will, either by force or by having them signed over to the agency. Testing began to attempt to isolate and extract this ability to heal in an effort to sell it as a new medicine, or as a Youth Serum. Their focus was simple. All they needed to do was attempt to remove the quirk by any means necessary. And for a while, they were good at it, but all of their subjected had died. Their last living subject, was their only source for funding. And so, they went out and tried to get people to sign up for the program. Most of them were runaways or wanderers without a place to go. They offered a roof and food, and they would give it to them, provided they were the subject to their experiments.

It wasn't until years later that their second "Subject One" would cause chaos, freeing a few of them. However others were transported to a new facility prior to the incident. After this mishap, all funding to this program was halted, and eventually dissolved. All remaining subjects were released back into society, some more twisted and broken than they were before.

From Home is where the Heart is: She had been disfigured, dismembered, all for the sake of research. A project of a company driven to extract her quirk from her body. But unlike the other subjects, she did not fight back. She was fed, and as long as she stored her power, she could end it. She suffered, each day as they took her skin off her body, counting the hours it took it it to heal. They counted the days it took for her to grow back her limbs. The took her eyes from her body, wondering what else she could recover from. She was their prized subject, and with that value, she was subject to means that the others would never be able to fathom. She did not scar like they did, nor did she seem to scream when any of it happened. She endured the pain without a sound. All they had to do was feed her food. Even then they learned that it did not matter what kind of food they gave her, she would always permit their experiments. She knew that there were others. And she knew that every moment they spent on her, was attention that was not spent on the others. She did not know what they looked like, or their names. But they knew each other by the rooms and the sounds that came from them. They all knew of the one room that screams never came from. They knew the room that the scientists always went before and after they were tested. It was the room, of Subject One.

Bone Manipulation was considered one of the most useless quirks. That was, until a certain female showed a healing factor that rendered the weakness, almost not existent. It was the first time they recorded such details, as well as noted such a combination of quirks. They begun to extract her bones, seeing what had allowed them to be so easily reshaped and molded. To much of their surprise, as well as expectation, there was no difference in her structure as opposed to others. She had often used her own bones to form and create armor over herself to make their jobs much harder, but it only caused them to try more ruthless things. It wasn't long until her cell was filled with discarded bones. And it wasn't long until she was no longer able to replace the ribs they were taking. . .

Every wound seemed to pour more than it should have. It was a viscous fluid, that instead of closing wounds, seemed to emit from such things. However, unlike what they believed, the girl did not exhibit more pain from the wounds, but rather found it soothing. They discovered it was her body's method of cleaning her wounds, while also flooding the area around her with a liquid she was able to use at will. With it, she was much harder to sedate. Instead, they began to burn her skin to numb her sense of touch, as well as her tongue to hinder her taste. They figured by removing her senses, she would become more obedient, forced to rely on them. . . and they were right.

Unrelenting force. A brawler who had found himself fighting more often than he was breathing. It wasn't by misfortune, but choice. Of unknown age, his muscles and organs always appeared to be fine. His health was always in the upmost shape. He was beleived to heal as fast, if not faster than the rate anyone could harm him. He was the perfect subject, but a nightmare of a patient. He had been the only subject to claim the life of a scientist, or of any of the personnel, and of large volume at that. With a dozen lives claimed in just his first day, they had taken dramatic means to subdue him. Using guns as well as large blades, instead of taking a more careful method like the others, they had taken dramatic means for him. It wasn't until they had severed his spine that he had halted his attacks, being paralyzed from the waist down. Of records, the last action taken before his healing was reduced, was the removal of one of his lungs. It did not recover from the scaring, and left him severely impaired. (Oculus)

Given the code name "The Silent", he had rarely, if ever, spoke a single word since he was taken into custody. Any time they had pained him any any means he would let out a cry for help. But he had been a talkative man when they had gotten him, but now he either refused to speak, or was no longer able to.

He was later transferred to another facility, and they no longer tried their drastic means on him. His quirk was removed quite early on, after Subject 3 was experimented on. When the company dissolved, he was released by into society where he got a job bagging groceries. Years later, he found himself working for the CEO of the company, as his butler. Now Hain personally attends to Sato's needs and desires, and finds no issue with his newest pet.

With the power over fluids and their flow he had become quite skilled in quick, and violent murders. When he was promised a place that could enhance his skills, he willingly accepted. Ketseujo Corp had been his job for years, and with the darker light of things, he was offered a chance to be more than he was.

His own power was extracted by bleeding him out and replacing his blood with a collection of donated blood. Eventually his body was overwhelmed and his powers were silenced. With his heart unable to move the liquid around him, it was thought he would be more tame, but instead grew more violent. The day of the incident, his door was blown open. Without second thought he ran out and exited the building. The first thing he was going to do was kill people.

After all, it was something he did well.

Group Alpha. Cell Room Twelve. It was not the first room to be filled, but it was the only room to never change who it housed. With his data, his name was recorded. A immigrant from another country, he had come to Japan for work. It was to his own misfortune that he found himself in such a situation. In the Alpha Group, it was not rare to catch a glimpse of the others. In fact, he could recall each and all of their faces. But when they all died, he knew it was going to change for the worse. Rather than vacating the cells to test them in their lab, they had turned the lab into another cell room. They had mobilized their equipment, only to bring it to each room at the times it was needed. Some restraints were saved for the other subjects, and some found themselves bound, for all of their captivity. Unlike the others, he was not tricked into signing his life away, but rather was kidnapped. He saw the scientists, all of their faces, all of their names. When the project was dissolved and disbanded, he was the last to leave the building after they were moved. He could see some of the records of the subjects of Group Beta.

But most importantly, he knew who had paid for it all. Sato Ketsujo.

She had the furthest cell room from Subject One, but being one of the more violent and difficult ones, she was one of the last few to be transported. They saved her, Subject 5, and Subject 11, along with Subject 1 for last. Her own powers were lost with relative ease, as her quirk's main power was her healing. Rather than trying to extract a select ability or trait, there was only one skill they needed from her. They had not succeeded in removing, but reduced it to a former shadow of itself.

The day of the incident, she saw the monster that had lived within that small and scared girl. She was silent, as she always was, the smell of burnt flesh and metal filling the building. She had seen the face of her hero, and she was allowed to be free. But to where? Where would Sinja ever go to?(Nona)
