Knock Knock I'M COMIN IN! CRACK IS WACK.

She could have been a spy. She could have been his connection. She could have been so many things for him, but instead she was just a set of eyes. She only reported what she wanted to report. She needed to play him, to make him think she was on his side since the start. She was the clean up crew, someone who was willing to get their hands dirty when no one wanted to. Not all villains would go to jail. Some should just die. That was why she wanted to be a janitor for the school. She didn't care about the pay that much. To her, she was able to play pretend while serving the world in a way no one would ever fault her for. She was cleaning the messes the heroes left behind. Something, she was destined to do until the day she died. It was what she wanted. . . but of course, that didn't make her a good person.

She walked down the hall, only to hear a voice behind her. Had she passed the room? She could have sworn it was her... but was it? There was a strange thing happening at the school, and even Sato's Second did not know of the details. "I'm not allowed to drink on the job?" she asked the voice, questioning it. "Miku, is that you?" she would ask.

She needed a sign, an arrow to point her in the right direction. She needed to do everything to ensure her family was happy and loved. If she couldn't stop Gigi from his own madness, she would at least shield Miki from all of the chaos of the world.

Yes, Kasey would be her shield. A shield that also was made by the same blacksmith that crafted that sword. That sword that poisoned the school. That was the shield she was, but not the shield she would be.

She would begin to walk towards that sound, only to watch a familiar blonde head pop out and speak of nonsense.

"FUCKIMTOOLATE." She thought to herself, already punishing herself.

"It's Gi & Gis daughter, she's bound to be as strange as the both of you." Setsuna would say, wondering how all of these morons even had the luck of finding each other. He didn't even think of Susumu, at least... not until right now.

Kasey would watch, confused and unsure of what to do, only to find the girl motioning for her to come, or well go, into her room. Without much else to do, there was no argument to be made. She obeyed, following her motion and going to the young student's room. As she would slip in, trying to avoid making a scene, she would find herself in the home of her niece, the door closing behind her. Kasey would almost immediately take a seat on the ground, not sure if it was okay for her to sit anywhere else.

"The drug that was going around school." she would answer her, "I just wanted to make sure you were okay." she would admit to her. It was her own doing, and her own choice. "Don't worry, I'm not here to talk about your dad this time."

"FUUUUCK." She began to internally scream. Miku didn't know that Kasey knew that Miku wasn't Mikuku, but Miku. It was her own act of not knowing that she knew now, for now. But if Miku knew she wasn't Mikuku, then Kasey would have no choice... Wait, what was going on now?

Man, this is confusing...

Oh hell no. She was not going to get any food while Kasey was around. She was not going to let her. "You won't be getting anything." she would say, halting any idea of eating something from the school. ". . . I have snacks in the janitors closets that are all free from contamination." she would quickly add. She would listen to the girl, remaining silent as she went on. Even going as far to air quote a particular word. Perhaps this was all more strange than she imagined. But she had to listen, she just had to.

She would trail off, getting to the question of their relationship. Was it appropriate to ask about Susumu? She cared right? Or maybe they didn't. "Of course. But I wouldn't pry." she would say. She wanted the answers, but she was not going to force them out of people. Everyone would talk when they were ready. She would tell it when she was ready.

"It's not because of a stalker, is it?" and it was then, that she remembered why she hated Big Sister in the first place. But if it was Susumu, then it would at least be forgivable, as it was her family anyways, right? After all, Big Sister did let Gigi go free . . . 

So she was stalked, watched, observed. While she didn't know the details, she could only assume it was just that. "Oh, then I have nothing to worry about anymore!" she would say it, agreeing that it was that event. But deep inside, she could feel that it was wrong. But if this was something constant, she was going to make it stop. Even if she was wrong, confronting that woman would at least make a difference somewhere...

"Besides, I'm here now. So I can keep a watch, and if not me, then at least other people from Ketsujo should help." The contractors. The vending machine refill guys. The painters who touched up the place. The other suppliers and deliverers. They had all came on their own, their own transportation, while Kasey had taken a new car from the garage every day. It was a . . . 

Wait. The vending machine guys were also from Ketsujo Corp. If the food was exposed to the drug then...

"So what were you saying again?" the words escaped her, a smile on her face. She would protect this child at all costs, even if it meant dying for her. But of course, that wouldn't happen. . . No one can slay a monster than easily.

The scarlet liquid. That crimson fluid. It went by many names, but all knew it as the same. Sleep juice. It was blood. That viscous liquid that poured life out of vessels and turned them into delicious corpses. The thought of drinking it again, made her mouth water, but still, there was a story to be had.

This girl was hero, born from a hellish origin. She had every reason to lash out, to be angry, to be cruel. But she wasn't. There was no excuse to be a villain, yet she had every reason to. A man had killed her parents and stolen her childhood of them, removing them almost entirely from her memory. It was every reason to kill the person who caused such a thing, but she didn't. She was stronger, and unwilling to break, at least, not like the white haired woman. She sat there, the taste of flesh and organs on her tongue. She had earned a hunger for the living, or the freshly killed. And on occasion, the already deceased. She was removed from a home and placed on her own, only to be robbed of any childhood to become a test subject. She had every reason to be a killer, a murderer... and she was. But in her eyes, for the right reasons. She was going to make sure that pain would happen no longer.

She wanted her father, to pay, to suffer and serve justice. But he had. He was a criminal who wanted money, value, anything from a small home. He let his quirk loose, and it killed. But in his errors, he spared a child to give her to best life she could get. He gave up everything trying to undo his mistake. He was no killer, but he had taken something from the girl she could never get back; Her memories of her real family. Maybe she would forgive him, maybe, but she would not forget. That man that cared for her lived a lie, and when it came to be a real hero, he wanted to be one to. He started with the truth, and that led to this moment. This very moment.

"It's okay." Kasey would say, with a smile. For once, she was beginning to understand him. There was no way around it. Just as Miku felt about Gigi, he had to feel the same towards Kasey. She had poisoned him, filling him with the idea that his lover was his nemesis. There was no telling on what he would do. She didn't plan on Setsuna lashing out like he did. But if it was like what she lived, anyone close to that man, was his players, just like Sato. There was no way she wasn't aiding Big Sister at the least.

"You don't need to do any more." she would tell the girl. She thought of the pain, the suffering he endured now. Kasey herself, did not feel. She did not pain, she did not have guilt. This was his punishment. As he robbed her from the truth, only to tell her later on, it would be the same for his lover.

In her mind, was absolute silence. Something Setsuna feared to happen once more. She did not think, she only reacted. There was no telling what she had wanted to do, or what her goals was. Everything was instinctive. "What are you going to do?" he would ask, again and again, but an answer would never come.

"He has suffered enough. He had paid for his crimes, I can assure you of that." she would tell that little girl. "He is still your father, he cares. If you care to listen, I think I understand now." she would tell her what was on her own mind, while no thoughts would be conjured.

Kasey had seen the big picture. And with it, all of the pieces of it fell into place.

Someone, was going to drown in their own blood.

Family. To her, it was her forbidden fruit. It was something she knew, but could not understand. A family was a group of people tied to each other, even if they had nothing in common and would protect each other. Not all families were good, but the good ones always were there to help. The happy ones never had to carry their burdens alone. The sad ones were always alone. Kasey, did not want to be sad anymore.

"He saw his errors. He changed his life, to try and make sure you had the best start." she began, trying to tell the story of a man who did not share much about his life. Everything from him was behind a mask, a screen, a second set of eyes. She read accounts, messages from others. She had pieced it together. She had begun to understand a man, who more than likely did not understand himself. "He used to steal, right? Well, he stopped, so he could care for you. He did it the right way." She would lift her hand to push her hair over her ear to see the girl past her veil of silver. "He might not have been a good person, but he knew that, so he tried to be a father." Kasey would never understand parents, or their sacrifices. Maybe one day she would learn about what a father would do for their daughter. Would they kill for their offspring? If they were sick, at what length would they go to cure them.

"Rena. . . " Setsuna began, listening to the words of his host from her own ears. Even he did not expect such words from her. Something had struck her, but without her voicing herself to him, all he could go off of was her words. Whatever she was saying, it was not thought in her mind, but rather, her heart.

"And your father, is now my brother. That makes you my niece I think." Kasey would let out a short, and light laugh, catching herself to continue. "So I'm your family too. And I'll make sure he doesn't do bad things anymore."

Silence. Her mind was silent until those words fell from her lips. They tasted like venom, poison, toxins. . .

"He will never kill again. No one will ever kill again. I'll be the one to do it. I'll kill all of them, so no one else will have to suffer." And so, her descent began.
