She didn't want to be there. She didn't want to be here. Her life had turned upside down, too fast, too soon. She clung to the last few things she had left. If she lost her job, she at least still had Kanna's contact, as well as other students. She could reach out to anyone she needed if she wanted to. She didn't need the school, but she wanted it. To her, it meant more than anything else. It was the only place she could be a hero, at least in the eyes of the world. It was where she could watch their beginnings, their origin stories. She could watch them all train and grow into the great people they could be... with the exeption of a single student who had ruined a young girl's life. Kasey turned the key in the ignition, silencing the rumbling of her car's engine. She set her forehead against the steering wheel. Her hands were clothed in white driving gloves, hiding the bone that exposed themselves. They had almost grown back. With a sigh, she reached out with her left to begin to unscrew the knob on the shifter, having never left it behind, except for when she left the car at the hospital. It was a miracle that the car was mostly unharmed, saved for a few scratches and dust. Turning it a few times, she removed it before taking it in her hands. reaching to the side of her seat, she pulled the lever to open the trunk. For a car over eighty years old, it was still holding up. Maybe she could live a long life like the car did. Opening the door, she slipped the painted knob into the pocket of her satin rose vest. The back shirt under it had the sleeves rolled up, her skin smooth, hiding all of the scars that were once there just a few nights ago. she made her way to the back of the car, opening the trunk to get the large box in the back. Her body would harden, the bones stiffening to give her a big of leverage as she picked up the crate by the handle. Forty eight. It was one of the two cases she had bought for him. She would remove one, setting the second on top of the first, shutting the trunk when she was done. She would reach into her pocket to lock the car, having even left the hazard lights on. She didn't want to stay longer than she needed to. Lifting the bottom box, she hoisted the both of them up, leaning it against herself as she carried it to his front door. She did not want to leave a note, nor did she plan to, but after setting them beside the door, she felt obligated to. "Well, it's all I can do anyways." She would tell herself while looking down at the drinks. With a sigh she would begin to make her way back to the car. She really didn't want to bather him. Who knows what kind of thing he would do or say once he found her. She wasn't going to wait around to find out. ~ Word Count: 535 ~ |

He was home, alone. He didnt wanna use his Quirk until he got his shit together. He did kind of feel sorry for his Quirk. It was like an innocent newborn creature that he wanted to get rid of, solely because he got used to Goliath. Because he was attached to Goliath. G felt like he wasnt fair towards his Quirk... or maybe towards himself.
What G was doing home was browsing the internet. For ads... job ads. Because yesterday, he lost his job at the music shop. Even since Susu dumped him and Kasey... just Kasey. G hasnt gone to work, he was depressed, he slept a lot. He drank a lot. He got nearly beat to death by thugs. And a lot happened. A lot happened, but he hasnt worked. Not as a civillian nor a Vigilante. Now, he needed a new job.
But something interrupted his thoughts, his browsing. A car. Sound of a car. G got up and went to see who the fuck was it. He quietly went to the door and looked through the peephole to see Kasey "You" he thought As she turned around to leave. He swung his door open "YOU!!!!" "WE NEED TO TALK!!!" He said as he reached out for her to grab her shoulder. He risked it. If Setsuna attacks, G was defenceless, his new Quirk was not strong. He had no idea what would happen but he needed to stop Kasey

"OHFUCK." she thought to herself, "HE'S GOING TO TURN HIS SISTER INTO A WIFE, I NEED TO GO, NOW." She feared his words, listening and remembering what was said last. As his hand reached out to grab her, she did not find the strength to fight back. She accepted what was going to come to her. She was ready for whatever would arise. Whatever he did to her, she would deserve it. Whatever he wanted from her, it was for him to take. Aroud him, she didn't feel human, she felt like a pet, a child. She never felt so little compared to him. He was a hero, and compared to her, he would always be. There was not a single thing he could do, that would make him worse than her. All of the lives she took. All of the lives she claimed. All of the accounts she absorbed. All of the bodies she consumed. She was a monster, and he would be the one to slay it. Wherever he was going to take her, into the house, or outside beside the beer, she wasn't going to fight it. Her eyes remained open, as tears would begin to fall down her cheeks. What was she supposed to say? What was she supposed to do? How do you face your brother, who scares you more than you do? She had never felt fear before, not like this. Not when they took her fingers, not when they tore out her organs. Not when she killed for the first time for Sato, or the last. So why did she feel it now? ~ Word Count: 270 ~ |

He noticed her whimper, he noticed her cry. He just sighed and whispered "Goddammit Kasey" and then he spoke to her "Come in and bring the booze"
He invited her home so they could talk. He needed to try and maybe set things straight with her. Somehow... but he didnt know how. Maybe if they start talking casual? No.. the way he just stopped her eliminated that option. He sat on the couch and thought, but then remembered that she was crying. He bit his lip and tried to think how to cheer her up "Are you thirsty? Will that beer cheer you up? I dont want you to cry. As I told you before. I dont want to hurt you. In any way shape or form, understood??" he told her. He had to make her stop with the waterworks
He then thought what to say after that attempt to calm her "Ok, first, tell me why are you here? Was it really just for the free booze or is there something else you wanted to do but chickened out?"
G needed to know why was she here, was there an ulterior motive or did she want to give him his booze for depression.

Letting go of her, he would step back into the house. It was strange, did he not want to pull her inside? Was he not going to throw her to the ground again? Turning to face the vacant doorway, she picked up the boxes and made her way into the house that was no longer familiar. The silence again deafening. She made her way to the kitchen, without uttering a word, without calling upon her own spirit to aid her. Her body would remain changed as she set the boxes on the floor, turning to make her way to the door to leave. She reached up to wipe her face, each of her hands touching her cheeks. How could she tell him how she killed her father? How would she speak of the crimes she had committed just the day before? Kasey was no hero. She was a villain, and the worst kind. She hoped to do evil to those evil, but that made her no better. Was it really worth the sacrifice? Hearing his words, only distracted the thoughts, but it did not cease them. "You wanted to drink last time." she said, making her way out. She would stop before the door, her head hung low as her back faced the man. "Figured you still would, even if I wasn't here." She admitted to her simple ideals and goals. She didn't want to talk to him, nor really see him, and expected him to feel the same. Why would he want to speak with a monster like her? She was no better than Dot. She was no better than that shark. She was no better than Thunder. She was a ticking time bomb that was bound to explode any moment. Bomb. Explode. . . She was gone too. Cherry had left. Susumu had vanished. Seki was killed. There was no one left for Kasey anymore. Just like she was before. ~ Word Count: 322 ~ |

"Honestly... the way you left. The way things were. I thought you abandoned me. I didnt think you'd return. I thought you didnt want me anymore in any way" he admitted. He thought Kasey was gone just like Susu. But now she was here. But since that day. Their relationship may never be the same again. "Kasey.....What is even going on with you?" he asked her. He had no idea where to start with her. What was going on in her life, did she still have a job at UA? Was she killing people?
He was worried and scared. How did she know who was evil and who was not. What if she killed innocents? What if he was forced to kill her or stop her. That scared him, because he got emotionally attached to this woman. She was his sister. But now he wasnt sure. Did she see him as a brother or was that bond severed and broken. Seeing Kaseys power, Setsuna and her regeneration. With no Goliath, he was unable to stop her if she decided to attack him. He was defenceless, helpless like a newborn
Was there any way to fix this, salvage this relationship. Why did she tell him all that. He didnt understand.

She knew the pain, the pain of lingering boniness. The pain of a stomach that could never be full. Maybe she knew the pain more than anyone else could. Maybe that cold dark room was hopeful to her, or symbolic for what she was going to become. There was no light in that place, only from behind the door of the mask doctors who poked and pried at her. "I could never abandon anyone." she would tell him. She had watched, followed even a few times. She could never leave him behind, or forget who he had become to her. After all, blood was thicker than water. But that wasn't the full of it, was it? Blood of the covenant, was thicker than water of the womb. She had grown to learn more and care more about this man, than the girl that shared her face. "I don't know, Gi." She went without the second half of the name she had given him. It was easier to say, rolling off her her tongue. But still, she wanted to try. "I always thought I could be a good person." she went on, lifting her hand to wipe her eyes again, drying her face once more with her white gloves. "It's okay to die. It's not okay to kill." She would think only of the faces, the man, the woman, the coats the- "It was self defense, when it first happened. But who was going to defend me? I killed all of them." She let out a laugh, as if her entire life was a joke. One cruel sick joke. "I could never be innocent, no matter how hard I tried. And I'm trying, so hard..." Her sentence cut off, her fists would ball up and clench. "I'm not like you." She tried to let it out. She had to say it. "I'm not as strong as you are." She was weak, maybe in the emotional sense. Maybe she could have killed him. Maybe she could have wiped away her past and all of her secrets. Maybe she could walk away from it and no one would know what happened. But he was who he was. He sought broken things and tried to fix them. "Is that why he kept me around?" she thought to herself, "Was he only trying to fix me? . . . I'm not something that can be fixed."~ Word Count: 401 ~ |

He was glad to hear that she didnt abandon him. But she spoke again. She said self defence. Did she kill only in self defence? And then started talking how strong he was. That was laughable. He walked over to Kasey and put a hand on his shoulder
"I thought you did honestly. That you hated me since I did that.... But I couldnt help it. You wanted me to hurt you. I couldnt. I could never hurt you" he spoke for a moment, but then stopped so he wouldnt trail off
He collected his thoughts and spoke "I am not strong. I'm weak. Kasey, you are the strong one. I am weak. I always walked on the fine line between life and death. A few days ago, since you left. I lost my will to live. I almost died to average thugs, but a woman saved me and nurtured me and for a while, I regained my will to live. My Quirk stopped working too. I am in no way strong." he held her hand then "You were one of my 3 pillars of strength. It was you, Miku and Susumu. After Susumu left though..." he lets go of her hand "I dont understand. Are you a Villain, a killer? Or did you kill only in self defence? Please tell me you're not a Villain like Susumu was. Please tell me that was a misunderstanding" he hoped, he begged, he wanted his sister. The innocent one who could barely read or anything. He wanted that cinnamon roll which he loved and wanted to nurture and help her grow. He didnt want that to be a lie.

She smiled. Turning around, the smile would be drawn on her face. She was on the verge of laughter. It was hilarious to her. Everything had become clear to her, so clear to her... His hand would be removed from her and still she couldn't help the feeling. "I've never had the will to live." she would say, but his final words, the question seemed to burrow in her skin. They were like seeds, or leechs trying to drain her life, her drive. "I wanted to kill Big Sister. I can't lie." she told him, again the truth came out, but she did not laugh, she no longer held onto her smile. She was learning how the world worked, and soon she would be the one to feed both sides. She understood her position, perhaps even too well. "You were there in that chat with me. Do you think I was better than you?" She crossed her arms, holding it against herself. "I'm not. I'm not a hero. I'm not a villain. I don't want anyone to hurt, so I make sure I'm the one that hurts. I don't want anyone to get captured, so I go instead. I don't want anyone to die, so I take their place." She couldn't lie to him, but her life was a web, tied in truths and lies. And often, the truth was something that was left unsaid. "I've been busting Sato's men. I've been removing Thunder's people. I've got them all to disappear and face justice. Is that what you wanted to hear?" she told him, "But I'm not a hero. I never could be. No one could be a hero, with a quirk like mine. No matter how big Setsuna grows, or how far away he goes He's never going to be-" From her neck, again the needles showed themselves. A dozen tiny thin spikes pierced her skin. All of them softening and weaving around each other into a braid. He did not waste time, not like before. Her collar would be stretched, but not torn. He would show his face, and for once, he made sure everyone in the room know what he was thinking. The skull sat on her neck, a second head. "You're both heroes." Setsuna spoke. His voice deep, something that seemed to be much older than the both of them combined. It was still unknown why or how he manifested the way he did. Some even considered that he was a spirit long before Kasey was around. Perhaps her quirk had allowed him to live within her. "Stop this. You are a fool, Rena. We do not seek crime. We seek justice for those the heroes cannot stop, the petty thieves and thugs. Gi, you're a smart man, but you speak far too much. You have feelings, let them out. Write them down. I understand how it feels to lose someone, but don't let it define you.
Never let your past define you." For the first time. He spoke. And perhaps it was for the best. Or could it have been for the worst? ~ Word Count: 518 ~ |

"I cant lie. I wanted to kill her too. But I tried not to.... Big Sister... Susumu. They or she... messed me up. Before I was like you. But she changed me." he spoke. He wanted to fix this. He wanted his sister. He wanted her to be happy and live a normal daily life. Why couldnt she let the crime fighting to him.
He didnt know what to say, so he let her speak, he wanted to hear her out. But before she knew... no. Before they knew it. Setsuna appeared from... KASEYS NECK!?!?
AND HOLY SMOKES HE ACTUALLY SPOKE!!! G made sure to listen to this spirit... animal... that is Setsuna. After he finished speaking G spoke to the spirit "I've been writting. I started writting ever since the first incident with Susumu. Since you two were fored to leave. I've been writting and writting and writting in secret. But it never helped. What good is it to let out these feelings. Its all the same. Im gonna be alone" he then looks at Kasey "You bumbling fool!" he walked up to her face and summoned his small spirit animal.
This 40cm creature was a small and bipedal lizard or dinosaur like creature with a golden brown hide that covers most of its body, including both dorsal spikes. Its belly is a very light brown. Two small claws, one on each hand, serve as its thumbs, and one large nail on each foot make up its toes. On its head, it wears a skull as a helmet. Because of this, much of its actual face could not be seen, except for its triangular, black eyes and a small area surrounding them. The skull has two rounded horns on the top of its head and a tooth-like point on the lower sides. The small creature also holds a bone in his hands.
This small one, manifested himself on G's shoulder and lightly bonked Kasey on the head "You dummy of a woman! I love you. As a sister. My sister. And yet you do this shit! All I want is for you to be happy. Live a normal daily life. Devote time for yourself, find love or happiness. You deserve it. Kasey or... Rena as Setsuna called you. I just want you happy and by my side. Do you understand that?!"

The feeling to end life, that strong feeling was alright? Was it only alright if she didn't act upon it? If he was like she was, how did the person he wanted to kill change him? What did she say? Was it as Susumu or Big Sister? How dangerous was it to have a life split like that? Was that what Yuri would become? Would she be the one to change Kasey? Could she? . . . would she? It was strange to see the new creature he was able to conjure. Was he able to create more than just Goliath? He definitely had a more useful quirk. He had all sorts of creatures he was able to use, while Setsuna was a single one. As the white haired man spoke, from Setsuna's neck small limbs begun to grow into hands, or rather, claws. He would push away from her, the blood seeping from the wound slowly as he would begin to separate himself from her. It wouldn't be long until he would grow into a size similar in nature to the creature that was summoned. With his power divided in half, he was not able to change a thing about himself, simply sitting on her shoulder. "I'll be happy, when everyone has a family." she would tell him. "I still don't really know how to count, but I know when I get enough money, I'm going to buy all of the orphanages and adoption centers, for kids and animals. Just because that place is temporary, doesn't mean it has to feel like hell. I've been there." Her story would have gone on, if she wasn't interrupted by- "We're going to buy out Ketsujo Corp." Setsuna would say to the man, trying to listen in if that creature would say anything, if he could anyways. It wasn't like he could read minds. Whatever it would try to say, he would hear it, hoping it at least spoke one of the languages he knew. "Sato already dumped stock after Thundershock attacked. He was dumb enough to sell it to Kasey, thinking we wouldn't act upon it." He would had laughed, if he knew how to. Speaking was a new thing to him, but he knew all of the languages. "Nearly fourth percent of the corporation is ours."But while Setsuna spoke, Kasey had been rubbing the top of her head. It wasn't that it was hard or that it hurt, it was jsut so strange to be the one who got hit with a bone for once. "I've always been at your side anyways." She said it, almost like she was ashamed of it... It wasn't like she stalked him or anything... Or well, Setsuna did anyways. ~ Word Count: 456 ~ |

He remained quiet and allowed them both to speak. He did not know what to do. "I will teach you how to count... if you want" he tells her
But then he focused on Setsuna. "Setsuna.. what do you hope to do with those percents of those stocks? What do you both plan with that corporation?" he asked them both
And then attention back to Kasey. He caught how she said it. Strangely ashamed of it "Whats wrong? What did you mean by it?"
Quesion after question after question. Thats all he had for the duo. Questions. But he couldnt let himself get carried away. He had to hold his companion in his arms. The new and hopefully temporary Spirit Animal, nicknamed Bones was still like an infant. G allowed the little creature to nibble on his finger. It really was like a baby still sucking and teething. It made sense as this creature was just a few days old. He glanced at the two "Right.. long story. I cant summon Goliath anymore. So this is my new Spirit Animal. I called him Bones, because he reminded me of you" he told them
G thought about dismissing his new companion, he was still unsure what to do with everything

Time spent learning how to count, was time that she could be reading. Sure she could read a math book and learn and teach herself, but there was other things. Cultures, lives, tactics, stories. She wanted to read everything, and math, was at the bottom of her list. Looking at the creature, Kasey's suspicion was proved wrong. He did not have many creatures, he only had a single one. But like others, it would grow with him, but it was stuck now in an infancy state. Kasey looked at the creature curiously, while Setsuna looked at Gigi from his own set of eyes. "You're a cute little thing, aren't you?" Kasey would say with a smile, leaning forward to see him a bit closer. Setsuna would roll as she did so, moving to climb on her neck and eventually her head when she stood straight again. "All we need to do is buy out more of his shares and the company will be outs." Setsuna would add on, Kasey still only half aware of the plan. "Seki showed me that Sato might have been the one behind the experiments, and there's no real way of me just asking him for the files, especially if my name is involved. Kasey went on, her mind had worked out a plan, even if she didn't really understand what she was doing. "It's why I've been watching over all of those little chatrooms. It's no secret that Sato is friends with Thundershock, whom just got in a fight with his daughter not that long ago." she was unraveling a web of secrets and lies. She would uncover the truth. "Word will get out eventually, we just have to make sure it happens at the right moment. IF we take over the company, then we own one third of Japan's underworld. If we play the part, every villain will get busted soon enough. We'll have eyes everywhere, and a hand on everything." He spoke out, his words a bit more well stringed together. "So, for now, we play it close, get our way to Sato's seat and then-""Kasey will own KC." she would say with a smile, looking still at the creature. "And I'll be big and strong and so will you, Mistur Bones!" Kasey was excited to say the least, to place a game of deceit and lies was fun, and entertaining to her. After all, it was no crime to lie to the bad guys. But how far would she play her game. "And in the end, we'll not only own most of the market, but we can ensure corruption would no longer be a part of it. We'll get an advisory council, of course." It was a lot to take in, but it was what had gone on in her head constantly over the last few weeks. She had been planning and plotting it for days, but having it spoken for once, would only make her seem mad, or a genius. Kasey had played both sides for long enough. Now was the time to finally play the cards in her hand. ~ Word Count: 520 ~ |

As soon as Kasey spoke to his Spirit Animal. G offered her to hold it "Wanna hold him?" he asked
Then he listened to both of them. But he had no idea what to do. It sounded like her heart was in the right place. But he had to make sure "Can you just repeat one thing. Both of you did not kill for the chuckles, you only killed for self defence or you both killed just villains?"
This was naturally a lot to take in. He really was left speechless and overwhelmed "What about your job at UA? The janitor thing?" he asked and waited for the two of them to start answering. He didnt but to overwhelm them with questions, but...
There was so much he didnt know, wanted to ask. But he didnt, the questions and the answers were all at a loss to him. He also felt guilty about asking Kasey any favours. Giving him sleep medicine or wiping his record. He didnt wanna ask for that, not after their last interaction
"Kasey... I dont know what to do with you. You're like a new Susu, just tearing me apart. Love you, but also angry at you" he thought to himself

She would reach out to hold the creature, carrying it into her hands and arms. She would hold it just like a child, almost hoping he wouldn't remove her gloves or chew on them as well. The bones of her finger tips still exposed while the rest of her hands recovered. The color of blood still stained her hands, but who would know it was not her own blood? After all, it wasn't like hr quirk didn't cause her to bleed so often. Perhaps her fingers would be cold, or as warm as her blood. The only one who was going to find out was the child in her arms, if he did anything. "You think I did it for fun?" she would answer him, "Most of the time I didn't even-" she stopped there, her eyes getting lost into the infant's own. She was lost, mesmerized. She wanted one herself. Maybe if Setsuna didn't have such a deep voice, he could be cute even. Maybe he could be the child for Kasey to enjoy. ". . . I killed most, if not all of them." Setsuna would quickly add, speaking for the girl, interrupting her to allow her to enjoy the peace she did have without his voice. "I'm the reason she ate them. It was to feed my own power. If anyone is to blame for her mistakes, it's me. I regret nothing of what I've done. None of those people deserved a grave anyways. They were all evil, tainted and corrupt. I did not enjoy their deaths, but I regret nothing from taking their lives." It was stretched, and perhaps wasn't the full truth, but it was his truth. He was a passenger who sat in the back of the girl's mind, while living within her marrow. If he said anything enough times, he could bend Kasey to make her to anything he asked for. It was why he had taken to cereal. Even if he hated to kill, he had grown accustomed to it. The crunching of bones was no different to him than that of cereal. But while they only killed so many, they had consumed thousands for Sato for the sake of disposal. The reason being the same for eating the others. They were not any to waste any meal, no matter how disgusting society saw them. "They suspended me." she would tell her brother, unsure if what they were talking about was any good at all. "I'm not even sure I can even stop by any more to help out." she was sad about it, but it was better than being fired. "So I just picked up some extra hours at the hospital to make up for my free time now." She would begin to sway, bouncing with the creature in her arms to sooth him, or anything to help him calm down. She wasn't sure if it worked, but she could remember the feeling of having it done to herself. She remembered her parents, what they did for her, her house, the family, but she could not remember a single face. The only face she saw in her mind, was the other pink haired girl, who wore the same mask. That was when she first noticed the horns, not her own, but Cherry's.
