Nari decided to take the night off from villainy, she didn't need to continuously stalk her targets when she had no reason too, she gave herself the night off. She was a free spirit after all. Nari passed the shops through the shopping district, finding all of them rather busy for a quiet night like tonight. The brunette wanted some place where she could be alone, somewhere where she didn't have to interact or encounter anyone. Someone quiet and somewhat secluded from the streets of the shopping district. Somewhere like...the park perhaps!
The serpentine woman never went anywhere without taking a notebook or something to write on with her, who know if some stranger would come up and ask her for something. Thankfully the park wasn't that far a walk from her home, and it looked deserted at this time of night, the perfect time for young Nari to enjoy herself to her hearts content. Nari looked around the vast area of the park, finding the benches rather boring to sit on. If she wanted to sit on a bench, she could have went home and sat on her couch. The brunette kept looking until the moon's reflection off the pond water caught her eye. She had found her spot.
Nari made her way over to the crystal blue pond, seeing the moon and stars reflected from the top of the water. It was small things like this that Nari enjoyed, who didn't love looking at something pretty? Nari straightened her skirt out and took a seat on the grass, looking our at the pond in front of her. She knew the lightning bugs would be out soon, of only she had brought a jar from home. Collecting fireflies was always a tradition her and her dad did...before what had happened at least. Nari looked out at the water for a bit before deciding to lay back in the grass and look up at the stars and moon above her. Maybe she'll find a constellation or two tonight with how clear the sky was.

She was losing her concept of time, as well as place. When was here? What was there? Which day was it? Did she have work? Kasey found herself wandering, unsure of what she was really up to. It was just a walk, a stroll to gather her thoughts. Nightfall covered the park in darkness, only to be lit by moonlight. Kasey walked, a white dress that wrapped around her frame. The material of it was thick, soft, almost like cotton but something much more durable. Her feet were covered in bandages, cloth torn and sewn together from old clothing. Some red, some blue, some white, and tan. It was a rainbow under her feet, but in her mind was shadows. She wandered, with only a voice in her head to keep her company. She walked, looking up into the sky, trying to make out the star shapes. That was what they were called right? They stars would align and show patterns and shapes that would make out great heroes or animals in the sky. She didn't know many of them, but she figured if she looked hard enough, she would find one. She would learn the name later. Kasey walked, taking each step until she paused before a tree. She would have walked into it if it wasn't for the fact it covered her view of the sky. She would give a smile before walking around the tree, only to find a pond and a girl who sat on a bench. Kasey laughed a bit to herself. She wasn't alone tonight it seemed. She would hum to herself, making her way to the pond. Maybe she would go for a swim. ~ 281 ~

Nari looked up from the water after she heard a rustling in the trees. Perhaps it was just some birds perching and flying away from the trees, trying to decide on where to stay for the night. The brunette was always a bit envious of the birds, they could go wherever they wish and all they had to do was use their gifted wings to fly away to someplace new. Nari had been gifted a quirk of the land and not one of the sky. Maybe in her next life, she'll come back as a child with the ability to fly above the ground. A small breath escaped the brunette's lips in a form of a sigh, since she could not attain what the arial creatures of the sky could, the bet she could do was imagine.
Nari's attend was drawn away by a mysterious girl in white, looking at her from across the pond. Nari blinked and tilted her head, observing the girl, oddly colored hair, scraps of bandages on her feet, her dress somewhat torn at the very ends. True it was a very odd choice in attire, Nari could not blame the girl. Perhaps she was in a situation much like she was in. The brunette blinked and raised her hand, waving to the other with a smile, not sure how the other would respond back. She was quite intrigued as the woman approached a bit closer, the only thing in between them now was the vast body of water, otherwise known as the pond. Was the blush hair colored woman going to swim across? Surly not, she would hate to see the other's dress get ruined by the water. It was not that warm out either so sitting in wet clothing may not be the most enjoyable. She was quite interesting whoever she was, perhaps she'd find out more about this rosette woman.

She stood there, thinking of the choices that she had. She could have gone for a swim. When was the last time she cleaned herself? Did it matter? Surely not, no one complained of her smell. Before she would leap in, she paused, only to look up to see the other wave to her. It was a strange thing. Did she also enjoy the night? Did she want company? If she did not call out, perhaps she was here for the silence of the night. Kasey would not yell to disturb her. The night was quiet, and perhaps for a good reason. Kasey would begin to slip off out of her own dress, only to wear the undergarments she had worn that morning. But her chest, would be wrapped in the same bandages as her feet. She would drag her toes across her ankles of her opposing feet, to unravel the ties that held her makeshift shoes. Kasey would then begin to walk towards the water, walking into it, not shying from the temperature of it. She was used to things like this. She had not paid for water at her own home, in an effort to save money. Lakes, ponds and sometimes even the ocean, were all her domain. She would begin to walk further, stopping as the water reached her hips. She wasn't far from her little shore, but she was certainly a little closer to the other female. Would she enjoy the company of the pink haired girl? ~ 251 ~

Nari watched the the rosette haired woman fiddled around on the other side, soon disrobing and leaving her dress and foot bandages near the shore. A light pink colored the snake woman's cheeks, seeing the other in such a vulnerable state, although her more private bits were covered. It felt wrong to watch but then again it was the woman who began disrobing knowing full well the brunette was by the pond as well. Nari frowned slightly as she watched the girl, she was sure the other couldn't read her notes from here and she was not comfortable using her voice since she had no clue who this other girl was. Perhaps she was a fellow villain, perhaps just a civilian. The brunette looked into the water and blinked, it didn't look too bad and they seemed to be the only ones here at the moment. Why not take a dip in the water?
Nari placed her notepad away from the water, afraid it might get wet if she had it any closer. The serpentine woman stood up and began to disrobe as well, not wanting to get the majority of her clothes wet by going in. Nari decided to leave her dedicates on, not that she wasn't comfortable with her body but the idea of swimming naked with a stranger didn't seem like the best course of action. Nari slowly made her way into the water, though it was cold she did not mind much. The brunette was about stomach deep when she looked over to see the pinkette once more. A smile grew on her pink dusted cheeks and waved to the other once more. Perhaps if they got closer, Nari could communicate better.

She would take in another step before she would slowly descend into the water. She would lower her body, embracing her new world. Her eyes would be closed as she would turn her back to the floor, only to paddle away from shore, allowing herself to float towards the center of the pond. It also seemed to be where the other girl was headed, as she too started to undress to join her swimming adventure. Kasey, however, had came here to relax and think about all she had unraveled. She had her job, which was enjoyable from all standpoints. She had made further agreements with Sato, to change their arrangement, giving her more time to focus on her personal life, while also granting him someone to see in his place. She had been able to focus at the school more, while observing any outside party that entered the school. Often, few any many of Ketsujo Corp employees would enter to either drop off or pick up materials. They were all instructed to never speak to her unless absolutely necessary, as it was a conflict of interest for her. She was able to focus on what relaxed her, while planning her own rise to fame. She didn't entirely care, however, but she wanted the world to know that no villain was safe. She wanted them all to know that the end was coming. Plus her sister looked really cute in her uniform at school. Who wouldn't die after seeing her? Kasey smiled as she continued to float, drifting in the water on her backside. It really was a calm night. ~ 269 ~

Nari didn't mind the somewhat cool temperature of the water, finding it quite nice in contrast to the warm air outside. It had been a while since she had been for a dip in a large body of water and it was her first time swimming in a public pond. Perhaps there was a first time for everything. Nari went a bit deeper into the water, now about chest deep before she couldn't go any lower as her feet reached the bottom of the pond. It was a rather weird feeling, feeling the sand and rocks against her feet. She didn't know what sort of fish or animals may live in the pond but she hoped it wasn't anything too bad. She didn't think any snapping turtles or carnivorous fish lived in the local ponds of Japan, but she could be wrong.
Nari swam a bit closer to pinkette, seeing her float in the water. She didn't know if the other had wanted to talk or not but perhaps she should let it go until the rosette woman wanted to talk to her. Nari followed the other woman's lead, laying on her back and floating in the water, feeling her chest and feet rise a bit above the water. Perhaps she should have brought some earplugs for herself, then again she didn't think she would be swimming in a pond with a mysterious, quite pretty stranger.

"So. . . " The silence itself was strange, out of place, awkward. Kasey had came here for one thing, the water. She did not know how to use the showers at home, and she did not like how the maids at Ketsujo Corp looked at her wounds. Her body was always ever changing, healing. Her mind ever tormented. She still closed her eyes, close and floating in the proximity of the girl. She was drawn to speak but knew not what to say. All that she said before seemed to go wrong, all of it was wrong. Susumu hated her, feared her. She didn't want that. She wanted to live a happy and long life. She wanted to be a sister and an aunt. She wanted her own twin to live free of pain and torture. She wanted her little sister to be a great hero. She wanted everyone to live great and kind lives. But instead she felt closer to being a monster. How much time did she have for her tasks? How much time did she have to change the world? Well, none of it mattered, not now at least. For now, she would enjoy the water and clean what dirt was still on her. She wanted to be good. She wanted to be a hero. She didn't need to be the greatest or the best, she just wanted to be the hero the heroes needed. She wanted to help those that helped others. She wanted to be the one that made the difference. "You come here often?" she would say. ~ 264 ~

Nari opened her eyes when she heard he other finally speak up, wondering what all the other would talk about. Because she had been floating on her back, the other’s voice was somewhat muffled because of the water but not by much. It took a few minutes until she heard him speak up once more, asking if she visited the pond often. Perhaps it wouldn’t be too bad to pause her little game, she doubted she’d ever see this woman again nor would they find out about one another, some idle chatter wouldn’t hurt.
“Yes, quite a bit especially if it’s like tonight. The stars and moon illuminating the sky and ground below,” Nari spoke, looking up at the beautiful black and blue sky, the stars giving off small flashes of light across the sky. “The park is a nice place to go to after a long day just to relax, but I suppose it’s not for everyone,” Nari said with a soft hum. “Although, I cannot say I have swam in a pond like this before. Is this your first time as well or do you tend to take a dip in unusual bodies of water such as this?” the brunette asked, feeling her bun start to come undone because of the water. Oh well, she could always fix it later or just take a shower when she got home and let it go for the night. It was just hair, though she did like having it up rather than done, easier to manage.

The stars, they were one thing she had read before, but didn't pay that much attention to. It was not often that her knowledge of astromy would be useful in any means but to entertain herself when she wa alone. But she did not have the free time as everyone else did. Even her moments to herself, was spent thinking about the world and everyone else that inhabited this country. The park was indeed a place to wind down and relax, and at night, it was even more silent. Perhaps the darkness scared most people away, or maybe it was the fear of the shadows. Kasey had no reason to fear the park, it was nature, and she loved it. "I can't remember a time I didn't swim." she would explain to the other, "A night swim has always been more relaxing that a candle lit bath at home. Besides, here I can be with nature." he spoke, a smile on her face. Her eyes would look up into the dark sky and all of the lights that filled it. It was like a blanket with holes in in, showing bits of the light behind it. Day, was something she hid from. With it, came responsibility. "If there was some creature in this water you're afraid of, it's probably dead by now." she would say, "Only small fish live here, everything else was eaten, or at least that's what I believe."She didn't believe. She knew. She ate them. And man did they taste good. ~ 255 ~

Swimming was nice, even if Nari didn’t do it often, it was still nice every once in a while. The cool water against her own cool skin sent shivers down her spine, not quite the contrast in feelings that she liked but it still felt oddly satisfying. “Being with nature is nice. It’s a bit easier for me at night time as the sun bothers my skin, that’s why I choose to enjoy calm times like this at night,” the brunette said in response to the roseette’s comment. Nari softly hummed as she felt her body float in the shallow water of the pond, she hoped the other didn’t mind.
What interested the brunette was the fact the other knew what type of wildlife resided in the pond they currently inhabited. Small fish were not too much of a worry, if anything they were more afraid of her than she was of them. “Eaten by what…or whom I should ask. I didn’t know people typically caught the creatures in here and ate them, quite peculiar,” the snake woman noted, the only thing that may made her uncomfortable was the muck and unknown bottom of the small body of water. She wasn’t too fond of slimy things, especially when she couldn’t see them. “Do you normally come to this pond or do you like to hop from small bodies of water to the next for your evening swim?” the brunette asked with a soft chuckle, a small smile appearing on her face although she doubted the other could see in their current situation.

It was a question that deserved an answer, if not the real answer. "Probably a villain." she would answer the woman, "It's not turtles would just up and leave this place." she would tell her, only to wonder about her question about her frequency. Was she flirting? Wasn't that the equivalent of "Hey, do you come here often?" If she said she did, then would she try to meet with her again? If she said no, would she continue to come here to not see her again? There could be so many reasons for a question like that, but Kasey would not care either way. It was just speculation. She wasn't going to stay out anymore. She didn't want to be reminded of such a long day. "This one is my favorite." she would finally say, "But the other ones are good too."Water. It was free. It was the next best thing to a forest, but leaves didn't always clean her body, and it didn't always feel as nice. Here, she was able to enjoy the world around her, while also getting all of the dirt and sweat from work off. She had bathed herself too, but it was moments like this where she could really relax. ~ 208 ~

A villain hmm? She didn’t realize people would go to such measures as to eat the creatures in the bottom of the park’s pond. Then again, the world sure was a strange place to live in. Fish she could understand, but turtles and other things? That was a bit taboo of a thing to eat. If someone needs to eat she supposed they needed to eat somehow. Nari shrugged the thought off, thinking it’s none of her concern, it was only a small thought that had crossed her mind. Although, she did wonder what all used to reside in this pond before said ‘villain’ had consumed all the creatures within it.
“I can understand why, it’s quite peaceful and it has a nice view of the sky at night. I don’t know how nice it would be to swim during the day but at night, it is quite nice,” the brunette said with a soft sigh, admiring how nice it simply was outside. She wondered where else there was to go swimming in such a manner. The ocean? The river? Another pond perhaps? Maybe she could try and follow in this girl’s lead and see where else she could take a night swim. “Perhaps you could show me some of the places you like to go? It sounds rather interesting to take a swim in something one would not consider swimming in such as a river or something of the like,” Nari said looking up at the sky and blinking. She was sure those places would be quite relaxing as well as this.

Food was food. Animals were animals. Meals were meals. Only humans considered on what was a pet and what was livestock. But not animals. To them, if they were hungry, they would eat. That was natural selection. Failing to do so results in domesticated animals. Kasey was one such example, of a monster that was attempted to tame, but it only made her more mad. Swimming during the day was, and would always be ruined with the common people around. There would no longer be peace and silence to enjoy. At least, not at this place. Kasey would have to seek out a more remote area, maybe a spring that was vacant of people to enjoy it at the day. But at least at night she didn't get moonburnt. She was sure it could happen, some way. Maybe in the reverse fashion of something like frostbite. The girl had even asked about other watering holes. Even going as far to ask to be shown the other places. While she didn't want anyone else to ruin her little moments to herself, she was drawn to the idea of company. She was conflicted, and yet she knew exactly what to do. "Maybe I'll give you my number later, we can meet up and head to these other watering grounds together." she would tell her the simple answer. And if she ever wanted company, she would then have one more person just one phone call away. ~ 243 ~

The brunette was delighted in the fact the pink haired maiden would consider giving Nari her contact info in case she wished to get a hold of the other. It was only an empty promise, she couldn't expect anything more in the moment until the other decided to act. "That sounds quite nice, that is if you wish to share such private information with a stranger like me," Nari said closing her eyes once more, letting the gentle sounds of the water being the only thing she concentrated on for the time being. To chat with another without giving away secure information that one could use to their advantage, it sounded nice in retrospect though Nari never really got to partake in such an act now that she was older.
Before she became a villain, it was easier to talk to other but now that she had to keep a semi-low profile, it was a bit harder to make friends and talk with them. Especially if they already knew who she was and what her quirk was, that was just too bothersome. Such was life. "It would be nice to see what other bodies of water you like to take a dip in. Experience something new for a change, get away from reality for a bit," the brunette noted the other woman's comment. It seemed a bit wrong to go swim in places like a river or a community pond, but then again everything about her life was wrong so why should this one small thing matter?
