 Big_Sister: You Big_Sister: Are the most frustratingly stupid creature I've had to talk to on the internet. Big_Sister: And that is saying something. She had folded the blanket and put it back into the closet. She made the bed for him, every day. She pressed and ironed the clothes he would wear that day as well as what he would the next, provided she was late, or even dead. It was by his words, not her own that she had to prepare things in such a way. "Mistur Sato, can I take some of your books with me?" the girl would ask the man. She stood, her job completed as he straightened his own tie. "Which ones were you going to take? Also, I thought you couldn't read." he would answer to her. He would turn to her, before taking his things to leave his own bedroom. "Can I have the ones when Sashi was little?" she would ask. He knew he kept some of her old belongings. Though, thinking about it, she never thought he was the kind to read her a bedtime story. Maybe it was something his wife did. She didn't really think any more of it. ". . . You will return them tonight." he would answer. "Actually, take all of them with you. I don't want them any more. Throw them all away."She would smile. He would leave the room and she would follow behind him, shutting the door. She would run down the hall to . . . _____________________________ "That's it?""That's it.""I need more books.""We've already read so much, why are we reading again?""I gotta be smarter Setsuna. I gotta learn how to read better." She sat behind a mountain of books. She had a good hour before she had to get to work. She didn't really know what time it was either, but still, the librarian would remind her. It wasn't often that anyone came in to read all of the books on the shelves. Again, Kasey would open one of the large and thick books. She would turn the page and a giant monster would pop out in her face. She would not react this time, only looking at the pages. She would close the book and set it with the others. She had read what felt like a hundred books in just the last few minutes. Granted, all of them were children's books. She was learning, slowly, but she was learning again. She wore, again, the same garb of the previous day. Instead of her red dress shirt, was a white one. The center of it with black pinstripes going down her shape. Her right sleeve a light gray with white horizontal stripes, and on her left, white with vertical stripes. She was dressed for her job. A maid. An Assistant. A tailor. A black vest, as mix-match as her shirt, as the rest of her clothing. She stitched and mended scraps for her self, as the finer materials were for her clients. but now she worked for only two men, and only two men would dawn her style. Her pants were under her gray uniform, as the top half was unzipped. The rest of her janitor's jumpsuit was tied around her waist as she sat in thought starting at the pop-up books. She had several sets of reading glasses on the table. She had switched between all of them during her little adventure. "Setsuna?"" . . . What?""I think I could always read.""What makes you think that?""When I put on the glasses, all of the words make sense."And so, a secret was unlocked, like finding out she had owned a massive backyard her whole life. Meanwhile, it was early morning and Miku decided to go to the library as early as possible. She was still sleepy and yawned as she walked. Miku eventually arrived at the library. She seeked books about plants, botany. Something that would help her Quirk. This here is one of the reasons why Miku always missed out on some class activities or quality time at chat. She would read and try to learn more about plants and by extension her Quirk. She would try to improve, so she could become a real Hero
"I think...I should read other books as well. Something to give me creativity on how to use my Quirk" she thought to herself. But had no idea where to start or what book to read or look at.
Thinking about it, she came so early she hadnt even ate breakfast yet.
"Maybe I should come back another time. I might have rushed and came a little too soon" she thought
Miku shook her head and decided that she should eat first. So she decided to leave the library as well
"I'll read another time. I just hope I dont trip again like a fool or something" she thought

She put the glasses back onto her face. She liked the one that had the silver frame, almost as thin as wire. Perhaps it was the name of which they were called. She didn't really know. She didn't really care either way. She begun to take her books and gather them, separating them from the library ones. She would get her bag and place them back inside. There was only four of them, and all of them seemed to be bedtime stories. On the inside cover was a child's name, written to what looked like her hand. But Kasey knew where it came from, and it didn't matter to her. What mattered was breakfast. She knew she ate. She always ate. If she didn't eat, then she did, and she always did. The question was when, how much, and what did she eat? She pondered it, as she pondered the lessons learned from the books. She would have eaten the green eggs. She wanted green eggs. Ham also sounded nice. She was hungry, and for who knows how long. She was going to eat, and she needed to wake up. She needed sugar, maybe even just raw sugar. She needed coffee. She could have found some in the teacher's lounge, but it was much too far. Perhaps the cafeteria, or something off campus was smarter, or even a vending machine. Thanks to quirks, all kinds of things were there, even the unhealthy stuff. The kids had to make their own choices. The first of them would be their own diet. “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” she repeated her lesson from the books. To her they were becoming a portal to other realms with their own myths and tales. She thought about the possibilities, as well as what she actually could have eaten. She got up, waving to the librarian, not making any real sound and motioning to her stuff. She was going to come back. Maybe she get a snack at the cafe or even off campus. She walked away from the table and made her way out, all the while thinking about what to have for breakfast, or what books could teach her. But she would bump into someone, not even noticing they were there. "Sorry!" she would say. She didn't even notice who she had bumped into. She was far too occupied. ~ 410 ~ |

She was leaving the library and going to the cafeteria, she made sure to not have her head in the clouds this time. So she wouldnt bump into Nick or someone like Nick. She didnt want any more of those incidents. Miku just focused on where was she going. Cafeteria and getting the most simple breakfast meal as possible.
While walking, this time, someone bumped into her. It was the Janitor lady. But her name...she introduced herself before. She knew her adoptive dad and she gave her the gift. But...the name escaped her. And not to mention, the sheer fact that she knew her adoptive dad, made her feel incredibly uneasy
"Oh..Im sorry miss...I should have prevented this" Miku said and apologized
Hopefully the lady would just go where ever and leave Miku alone. She kind of felt uneasy because of her connections. So she just wanted to leave as soon as possible. If she had to, she'd play dumb and pretend she's not Miku, like how she did last time. She just wanted to avoid anyone connected to her adoptive dad. She simply wasnt ready to face him. Not yet, she still hasnt figured out how to punish him. Not severly by sending him to jail. But somehow...to make him pay for his previous crimes...

"It was my fault really, Mikuku." she would say. She would make her way around the girl, her nametag upside down as the top of her jumpsuit was tied around her waste. It still read the same name "Kasey." "I'ma get some food, if ya didn't eat yet, I'll get ya some too." she'd say. She didn't really know how to make it up to her. She had helped with delivering the message to her friend, Miku. She even looked a lot like the girl. But who was to say. Kasey wasn't even thinking about it all that much. She would make her way around the girl with her hands in her pockets. She would head straight for the cafeteria. She needed something to fill her belly. "Oh, if you see Miku, let her know I have something important to tell her about her dad." she would say it, hoping that someone could explain to her the reason he was so reckless. was it his quirk? Was it Goliath? Was it the people he hung out with? She needed to know answers to her questions. Having someone come home with injuries had gotten her concern, even if she didn't exactly care about him. She did care about his well being. It was complicated. Either way, she was going to get food, with or without the company of the girl. She was planning on two cups, one full of coffee and the other of sugar. If there was food, she would buy that too. "Mikuku? Does she think thats my name?.........Thats actually perfect. Im safe like this, right?" she thought to herself.
She then noticed the name tag, it said 'Kasey'
"Oh yea....thats right. Thats her name" she thought
Kasey talked and it seemed like she was hungry as well...which meant both were out to get food
"I-I can get food by myself. I dont want to burden you, miss Kasey" she said
Kasey then spoke of another interesting tidbit, another message for her
"I can tell her your message. I promise I'll tell you the important thing you wish to say" Miku said to her, wondering what was gonna happen now. Was he in danger? Was she all alone now? Miku hoped that the important thing wasnt some bad news. Or perhaps, did the girl try to justify his actions. With G, you really couldnt tell who was connected to him in what way. He had villanous contacts and he had normal people he hung out with. His two lives were mixing up into one. Thinking about it, maybe thats why he sent Miku to UA. Maybe to be away from him?
No...she didnt wanna think about him. She wanted to hear whatever this was from Kasey and then move on and eat

She listened to the girl. She was nice. She was way too nice for this cruel world. "You won't be a burden, I don't like eating alone really anyways. I'll pay for it too." she would speak again, not turning back to look at the girl. Soon, they would be at the cafeteria, a few students here and there. Some just eating, others studying. Kaseey could have wondered what for, but she didn't really give a care. "I'd prefer to tell Miku directly. It's kind of important. I don't think her dad will tell me the truth." Kasey shrugged it off. Something about him seemed off, as if there was a secret he didn't want anyone else to know. To be fair, it wasn't like Kasey told him all of her secrets either, but he also never really asked. She never lied. She never had to. She would stop to look around. It seemed slow, kind of almost dead. Maybe she would just walk up to the servers and ask what they had. "Coffee. . . coffee coffee coffee coffee . . . " she would repeat it over and over and over. She needed her fix. How else was she going to get her rush and stay away for her studies? She needed to get it done, then she needed to do her job. Maybe if she was lucky she could get off early, maybe. "Actually." she stopped her thought to look over towards the girl. "Maybe it is better I tell you to tell her for me. I don't think it would be good for me to talk to her." she thought about it, but she also needed answers. The smart thing to do was to write a note. Coffee. Paper. Sugar. Note. That was her plan. Was it a good one? Probably not, but it was a good one. She had to trust the children. The children. "I do like how the children tastes. If she is a liar, we can eat her.""No! Eating them is bad!" and it began. The monster inside of her would begin to fight her wishes. But today, Kasey would win. She would never lose... she would never lose. ~ 368 ~ |

"If you insist" Miku said as she went to the cafeteria
When it came to the secret message. It seemed only Miku could hear it and not 'Mikuku', which meant she'd have to tell Kasey the truth. She said that her dad wouldnt tell Kasey the truth. Miku had an idea of what she was talking about. It was the incident. How he killed her parents. But that was not something she could bring up. She already let it slip out once, to a cafe owner. She couldnt make the same mistake.
Suddenly Kasey started chanting coffee coffee coffee. Miku stayed silent and just went along with it. But suddenly just as it started, the chanting suddenly stopped. It seemed Kasey changed her mind, she WAS gonna tell her the important thing. That was good
"I promise I will tell her whatever you want"
She looked at Kasey,a little worried. What was that important? She already went through a few scenarios in her head. She tried to deduce things, but sadly nothing was coming together. She felt useless. Not being able to fight. Not being to figure out anything. She lacked the brawns. And with the lack of any deductive skills, it seemed as if she lacked brains as well. Before that little realization started to creep in. She shook those negative thoughts away and focused on Kasey, wondering what was up

She walked up to the counter, finishing what they had came there for. She told the lady what she wanted and was handed two waffles, and two cups, and even a pen and paper. "It's not that I don't trust you will tell her, but I need to make sure that nothing is lost in transition." Translation. She meant translation. But of course, what did she know? The most recent book she read was about felines and headwear. She would put a waffle in her mouth as she would head over to a table and begin to write her message to a girl she had never met. Well, that she thinks she has never met. She scribbled it all down, narrating it all in her head as she did so. It didn't matter if Setsuna was practically screaming in her head. She would finish it up, the waffle too and fold it into fourths. She would get up and hand it to the girl. Both of the cups were set on the table and would be carried in one hand. The waffle in the other. She would put the pen in her pocket. "You can give this to her, and hopefully she will read it." she would say. She wanted to help. She wanted everything to go well. Miku quietly ate and glanced at Kasey who scribbled down the letter. It sounded perfectly reasonable. Not to lose things in translation. Especially since she doesnt know she's talking to Miku. She didnt wanna rush Kasey, and allowed her to take her sweet time. But still. Miku was eager to find out what the message is. But seemingly, she couldnt look around Kasey. She'd have to go to her dorm room to read it.
When Kasey finished it, Miku took it
"Oh, she will definitely read this. I can tell. And I promise to get this to Miku...." Miku said
Honestly, she couldn't wait. She didnt wanna stare at Kasey for privacy sake. Pretending to be someone else, she had to respect Kaseys wishes and let 'Mikuku' get that letter to 'Miku'.
"This is giving me one big headache. After breakfast, Im going to my room. Gonna call in sick" she thought to herself
She ate her breakfast slowly and carefully. Now that Kasey gave her the letter, she didnt feel like she had to look away from her. Until she could read the letter, she had no idea what to make of Kasey. She only had the feeling of unease following her around. Perhaps paranoia

She kind of paused as she stood there, making small steps towards the library again. But the girl did not get something to eat. Why did she not eat? "If you both need anything from me, don't hesitate to ask. . . " she would say, a bit awkward. She wasn't sure what else she was supposed to tell Mikuku to tell Miku. "Uhm, are you not hungry anymore? Do you still want me to get you food?" Kasey asked, lifting the waffle to her mouth to be quickly devoured in a few moments. She would switch to hold her coffee in her right, and the cup of sugar on her left. She would wait for an answer, hoping that Mikuku would not read the secrets of her message, but she had written in a way that only Miku should have understood. Kasey was a bit concerned, but would still lift her drink to her lips as if it was no big deal. On the inside, she was screaming, hoping to find her answer soon. "Why do I feel like she is a liar?""Perhaps she is?"". . . How would I know?"" I'd say you can ask her.""I ask if she is a liar?"". . . Yes.""Why do I feel like you are a liar now?""I'm not. See. I tell the truth."She would stare at the girl, hoping to make sense of what was happening. It didn't feel right. Should she have just gone and left? ~ 254 ~ |

But something about Kasey...again, that feeling of uneasiness...It almost felt like her head was in the clouds...or in her own world. As if she was in a way absent from the here and now. Almost as if she was in a different conversa- no, thats silly. But still...the way Kasey stared at Miku without actualy talking to her... what was she doing. She really was like a creepy janitor lady
"A-are you ok? You seem silent? Am I...in the way of something?" she tried to guess what was up with Kasey
Honestly, she just wanted to see her letter. But she had to wait either until Kasey was gone or when she was alone in her dorm room. Was it something about G? Surely it was, she mentioned something about him and something about him not telling Kasey the truth. She had no idea what was up and anything about him recently just started to scare her. Even his contacts... she had no way of telling if Kasey was a casual civillian contact or one of his criminal contacts carefully planted in UA. She had no idea what he was capable of. Maybe Kasey was a spy sent to.... spy....on Miku. Or maybe again she's just a creepy janitor.... Now it seemed Miku's thoughts just ran in circles

She would move her cups to her right side, only to reach into her back pocket. She would pull out a fistful of money, and hand it to the girl, just as she handed over the figures from the last time they met. She would let her have all of the cash on hand, it wasn't like she didn't have more of it. Besides, she was bad at counting, using the card was easier for her, plus the sound of all of the coins in her pocket would drive her mad. "Well, then here's money to get food. I'm going back to studying before work." she would say to the young girl. She would take both cups in each of her hands and make her way back to the library. She would have given away thousands to her, after all, she had no concept of worth or monetary value. Money was meaningless to her. What mattered was what was useful, and often she found the simple things, rather than luxury items, were always something that would serve their purpose longer, rather than something that preformed better, for a shorter time. She had no need for such things, and with it, she would vanish from the cafeteria, leaving the girl to give a note to... well hte same girl. One day she would learn the truth, but for now, she was going to study. She was going to get smarter. She was going to prove to them, that she was someone with a brain of her own. And Setsuna, would have to tell her his own truth he was hiding from her. Or rather, her truth he was hiding from them both. /exit ~ 281 ~ |

"Thank you for your kindness" Miku said to Kasey as she left. She took the money and bought her breakfast meal, which then she ate in peace
After her meal, she went to her dorm room. She rushed there and quickly entered her room and shut the door tightly and finally read Kaseys letter. And she didnt expect anything here. It looked like after she left for UA. G just ended up adopting another person. This Kasey is his 'sister' now? Whatever the case it seemed like she cared about him. And he most likely cared about her? There was so much to process in the letter. G has insomnia still, but he fights crime now. If he's hurt, does that mean he isnt as lethal as before?
Then Kasey said something about a Susumoo, which she didnt understand at all.
Miku thought about texting Kasey. But the creepy phone 'number' just confused her and scared her. Miku decided that she was gonna text Kasey and perhaps maybe fess up and tell her that her name is Miku not Mikuku. She grabbed her phone and opened her app and was ready to type.
"Hmmm..... how about.... Sorry I lied. My name is Miku, not Mikuku...no...thats bad. Or how about a cryptic message instead? Yea... thats better." she thought
She then texted Kasey and wrote 'I will help you'

The train of miscommunication and confusion marches on. None of this is going to be solved until Miku and G ACTUALLY TALK TO EACH OTHER LIKE ADULTS, but until that happens this sort of thing is cute, sad, and hopefully going in the right direction.
