Before Darren’s drugged adventures rendered him utterly useless for the next couple of days, he had been put to good use by the school principal. After having helped him with some personalized training for Jasmine, he informed him that it wasn’t his punition. When Darren protested, the principal answered:
“Do you take me for an idiot? You were clearly enjoying yourself. What kind of punishment is that?”
Darren was promptly shut up. Only Touma Kobayashi, principal of UA High, was capable of such a feat.
Now was his real punition. And it seemed the principal had use of him again, as well as another boy, Ryuusei something. Invisible Boy, Darren called him for obvious reasons. The principal had assembled the pair in his office. It might be worth noting that at this point in time, the news that the tap water contained drugs was just beginning to spread.
“... And that is the gist of it. Someone is contaminating the tap water. We will be informing the rest of the students shortly. In the meantime, I have a mission for you two idiots,” said the principal, glaring at them. “Two, actually. First, stop skipping classes -- and thinking I’m dumb enough not to notice someone left,” he said glaring specifically at Ryuusei. “And don’t pick the classes you want to attend,” he said glaring specifically at Darren.
“Now for your actual mission. You’re gonna help our janitor clean the school, and you’ll notice me if you remark anything out of the ordinary.” He crossed his hands in front of his mouth, magnifying the intensity of his already remarkable glare by a factor of ‘a lot’. “Not that I necessarily suspect Setsuna-san… But we can’t be too careful. Think of this as a practical class. Use the full extent of your abilities,” he added looking at Ryuusei, “But don’t get yourself in so much trouble that you can’t handle it. That will be all. Off you go. You’re on the clock until dinner. Slack off and your punishment is doubled. Are we clear?”
“Yes,” sheepishly grumbled Darren. “Come on, Invisible Boy,” he told the boy in question, getting off his chair. When they reached the hallways, he said, "So, the fuck you think is causing all this? Don't you think it's weird that criminals would just release drugs for free? They usually sell this shit, ain't they?"
For all his complaining, Darren was -- though he would never admit it -- kinda enjoying being trusted with this, and as a result, more or less consciously taking this 'investigation' job of theirs seriously. Plus, he enjoyed yakuza movies and it was a story straight out of those happening at his school.
For all the wrong reasons, Darren was really enjoying his scolarity at UA High so far.

She stared at it. Would anyone notice? No, no one would care. Everyone was too distracted with that stupid contamination. She reached down, to touch that lifeless body. Maybe it was her fault, maybe it wasn't. But how could anyone blame her, maybe it was all of the chemicals. Maybe she would go to jail. "I'm gonna eat him.""WHAT? NO, YOU CAN'T DO THAT HERE." The voice of reason was nothing more than a demon in disguise. Of course, he was just part of her quirk, or perhaps the reason for it. But even he didn't believe in disposing of a body like that. Kasey knelt down, to pick up the small dead baby crow that was left abandoned. It was strange, to see a white crow, but perhaps it was a sign. In her hands she would hold the carcass, only to stuff it into her mouth. She would smile with her cheeks full, only to turn around to head back into the main building. Her break was over, and the floors should have been dry by now. "Now to clean that vomit." She would say, heading past the doors. Now all she had to do... was find out where the hell it was. ~ Word Count: 206 ~ |

I often feel like a butterfly with broken wings Took him long enough, Ryuu thought as he was standing in front of Touma, inside of his office. Of course that he knew why he was there. At the beginning of the year, Ryuusei's lazy mode got activated and he decided to use his QUirk in order to skip one of the physical education classes... class that was instruted by the Principal himself. It took some balls to do such thing, one might think. And one would be right. But Ryuu didn't do that so that he could just prove he was a rebel or a big shot -he just really didn't want to keep running and doing push-ups. But it was obvious that he knew that he wouldn't be able to get away with it. Ever since that day he was waiting for the Yuuei speakers to get turned on and the Principal's voice to be heard calling Ryuu's name. It would be fun, especially since he was Class Vice-President of 1-A. Ryuu wondered why it took so long for it to happen, but today had been the day. Maybe Touma Kobayashi was a really busy guy... That or, as it looked like, he was just waiting for another student to mess up. At his side, also getting his ears bursted open by the principal, was another student. Darren was his name. Funny hair and brows were the first things that popped up on Ryuu's mind as he looked at the other boy. Oh, that and the fact that, for a sixteen year old - same age as Ryuu - Darren looked like he could be above the age of 25. Ryuu was expecting extra classes. Homework. Detention? Something along those lines, punishments one expected to receive after getting called up by the principal of a school. But what both Darren and Ryuu received was... well, it was different. It was a mission - see if the janitor had something suspicious going on. And, by Touma's words, we was fully expecting Ryuu to use his Quirk. With the corner of his eyeys, he looked at Darren. The kid had a hidden smirk one him. It made Ryuu think. Glad we're on the same page, he thought. Yes, that wasn't exactly a punishment. The principal seemed to be trusting them to investigate on the whole water contamination scandal. Ryuu didn't know why, but he was certain of one thing: it was the first thing he felt kind of excited to do since he joined U.A. - and it wasn't even a class. Walking out the office, he felt glad to have skipped P.E. at the beginning of the semester. If he hadn't, he probably wouldn't be there. Yeah, it's weird. If they are able to mess with the water or something else like that they could've just poisoned it and kill everyone straight away - he answered Darren - Puking and hallucinating is something teens already do on their own will, so either this was just a statement or it was done by some really dumb villain. They kept walking thorugh the halls. Wearing his U.A. uniform with the tie slightly loose, Ryuu kept talking while he had his hands on his pockets. So, what do you want to do Rock n' Roll kid? - he joked back to Darren's previous remark of "Invisible Boy" by pointing out that the blue eyed teen looked like he could be a member of a rock band. It was always funny wearing Ryuu's cold voice saying funny things - Do we grab a bucket and mop and start by helping and get to know the janitor or do we just follow the guy straight away?
Ryuu knew what he wanted to do, but it would be nice to see what Darren suggested them to do. Maybe this could be the start of a weird partnership... and friendship. Notes: This will be fun! Words: 644. Tags: Daimon Darren Kasey Setsuna

Darren expected more of a pushover, but Invisible Boy proved not to be one of those people who shrunk themselves in front of Darren, earning a token of respect from the blondie in the form of a smiling nod. Plus, men felt an indescribable sense of camaraderie when working together on an investigation, a sense of camaraderie that would even get the staunchest anarchist to start talking like a cop. It got them to call each other ‘detective’ or ‘inspector’ and to thoughtfully inscribe things in notepads. In Darren’s case, he rubbed his chin a lot, unconsciously imitating the thinking emoji. If Darren was in a cartoon, they would picture the inside of his brain when he’s thinking like this: “Yes, yes, indeed. Though, tell me, Inspector, what kind of school did you go to where teenagers hallucinated on a regular basis?” Still very much Darren, he added: “Cause it sounds fucking awesome.” He scratched his head at his next suggestion. “I don’t know.” He grabbed his right elbow with his left hand and poked his right finger at his head. It seemed to produce thoughts. “You go take a ‘piss break’ and I do what I do best: bullshitting to buy time. But yeah, I guess we blend in before then. Sounds good?” Slowly but surely, the pair was headed to where the principal told them the janitor was supposed to be.

Breaktime. Something she took perhaps more often than she should have had, but with her volume of work, something that fell onto a single individual, it was acceptable. After all, she worked as if she was a small army. Who would mind if she disappeared for a few minutes to take care of her own matters? She strolled down the hall, without the cart she was normally seen with. She had her hands in the pockets of her uniform as she wandered. No one had told her where the mess was, forcing her to play detective far more often than she wanted to. With the use of the school-wide chat, she could at least watch and read about other mishaps and their location. If no one called her cell, then surely it wasn't that important. She would stop, only to look around. What time was it? Where were the students? Was it even inside of the building? She would stop, only to remain as still as stone, before continuing to walk again. She would begin to hum to herself, the faded olive jumpsuit that held her name on the front her only uniform. The blue and white name patch sewn onto it, something pristine and new for such an old suit. "... chew.""Oh yeah!"And she would begin to devour the bird that was left within her mouth. It would be her meal. And now, her next prey, was a mess to clean up. ~ Word Count: 245 ~ |

I often feel like a butterfly with broken wings Ryuu laughed off Darren's comment about the Igarashi's previous school. Ryuu didn't know if they all consumed drugs, but, if they did, at least it would give him an explation as too why he was constantly bullied. Nah, they were just assholes. The other boy was, as it seemed, taking the whole investigation pretty serious. Well, partly Ryuu thought that he was right in doing so - afterall, that investigation could very well lead to the two first year students finding out important clues about the drug situation. However, it also was pretty hilarious how the blonde boy was acting like he was an actual professional detective and talking in what was almost code language. Because of such thing, Ryuu though about what his partner had just said. Piss break? Blend in...? Okay, I get it. Got it. Let's go meet Mr. Janitor then.Responding to his Holmes, Ryuu assumed his Watson persona and continued to walk alongside the punk-looking kid. The plan was - if he had understood well - to meet the janitor, let Darren do most of the talking in order for Ryuu to go to the bathroom... which actually meant going to look into the janitor's stuff or something. Did the janitor even have a room or locker? Meh, probably. At the pace they were in - and if the Princiapl's indications were true - they should be pretty close to cross paths with the one they were investigating. Notes: --- Words: 243. Ryuusei informed Darren that he got it. The blonde delinquent nodded. Inspector Ryuusei was quick on the uptake. He had a feeling that he could trust him to be quick-thinking too if he found something interesting with his quirk.
“Right. Let’s shut up now.” They were indeed approaching the janitor’s location, and at the turn of a hallway, they found her.
Darren had classist clichés about janitors; old men with a lazy eye who always looked tired and knew all the secrets of the big executives in the glass tower, like an undercover agent of the working classes among the top dogs of the economic landscape. Perhaps Darren had been watching too much yakuza movies. Perhaps, in this case, meant definitely.
Instead, the janitor was a young woman with silver hair in an olive drab jumpsuit. She did often look tired, but there was no lazy eye to be found. She was chewing something which Darren assumed to be a chewing-gum. No one could fault the adolescent for not making the correct assumption when the corrupt assumption was that the beautiful silver-haired janitor was munching on a bird she picked up on the floor.
Darren definitely did spend too much time in front of the TV, which was an impressive feat given that he already spent a large amount of his time looking for trouble, finding it, and getting himself out of it. All this left very little room for studying.
With an imperceptible nod to his buddy detective, Darren marched in the direction of the janitor lady and let his larger-than-life personality work its wonders. “Yo! I’m Darren and this is Inv… Ryuusei, we’re bad students so the principal sent us to help you,” he announced. “It think you have us for like two hours or some shit.” He jokingly made a military salute. Darren was seemingly never serious about anything, so when his bullshitting proved useful, he went ham. “Your orders, Sergeant? Where them brooms and mops at?” The delinquent did his best, but he couldn’t help but shot a glance at his partner, as if to say: see, im already fishing for leads.

It wasn't until students approached her that she swallowed her snack. With feathers and all, they would begin to digest in her stomach. She looked at them with the upmost curiosity, only to find their names shortly after they appeared to her. Two hours? That was it? That was all of the free assistance she would get from two fuck ups? With that thought, his hand would make his way to his forehead to give an interesting salute. Kasey, not sure of the social customs, did the same in reply. She would straighten her back, only to have her right hand bend and point at her forehead with an open palm. "Well Private, since I have already emptied all of the trash today, and mopped the floors an hour agooo..." As her arm was back at her side after the salute, she would slowly bring it to her chin as she thought about what she could make the kids do for her. There was a lot of work she already did. "I guess today we can do an inventory check." She would turn around facing her back to the both of them. "We need to check all of the closets and see what I need to tell Mista Prince-I-Pal to buy for the school for me, or well us, to use." She would begin to walk in the other direction, going to head to the main, and the largest of the storerooms in the school. It was as big as half of the classrooms, and was most likely such a thing before it was handed off for her to use. Sure, the students mainly cleaned up after themselves, but her job was not to clean up the messes of the classrooms, but rather the destruction left behind from quirks. She was short of a handy-man, or rather, a handy-woman. While it may not have been what she was hired for, it was what she found herself fixing far too often. ~ Word Count: 330 ~ |

I often feel like a butterfly with broken wings He nodded at Darren's indication to shut up about their current secret operation. A crucial thing to do since, as they turned the corner of the hallway, they met him... well, her. As he saw the girl for the first time, one thought occured in Ryuu's mind, one that he didn't often had: Holy hell, she's so pretty. Her long white hair was what stood out the most, but what had Ryuusei lost were the girl's cyan colored eyes and her soft looking skin. The only other girl whose beauty immediately made itself apparent to Ryuu was Rin's - the girl he liked. But this was no time to get flustered over a female, especially one that could be responsible for drugging the entire school. However, he couldn't help but laugh internally: didn't both Holmes' and Watson's lovers, at some point, on the dark side of things? Yo, he coldly said while lifting his hand up hen Darren announced his named... and almost called him Investigator. With his hands on his pockets, Ryuu assumed his usual posture: one of total uninterest and deattachement, just listening to the interaction his partner was having with the Lady Janitor. He really is good at the talking thing, Ryuu took notice as the blonde dude asked where the girl kept her cleaning things. According to where, Ryuu and Darren were to help her doing an inventory check, which meant that, for now, they were headed to a storeroom. Ryuu was taking notice of the path as they walked. If that place wasn't where she usually got changed or kept her personal stuff, they would've to find it quickly - afterall, they only had two hours. Following the pink-haired janitor, Ryuu walked with his hands behind his head, fingers interlocked - the "i'm a cool yet non-caring guy in a chill anime" walk. He noticed that the girl didn't say her name when they met. However, that wasn't so important - the Principal probably already knew that and, in the case she applied for the job with a fake name, she wasn't gonna tell both kids her real one. So, making conversation, Ryuu asked something for the sake of his curiosity... and, well, it might provide some kind of lead. You're not that much older than us. Why take a job as a school janitor when you could be in college or at a slightly better job? - he asked, before adding in a joke - Don't tell me you dreamt about cleaning hallways and bathrooms for a living when you were younger.Notes: --- Words: 428. Apparently, she wasn’t munching on a chewing-gum as she swallowed whatever she was eating when the students declared their presence, or rather when Darren loudly declared his, and Ryuusei’s was included in it on account of the brunette walking next to the blondie with his hands in his pocket and a cool attitude. He looked very uninterested.
Darren thought it was a very solid delinquent’s walk, and began musing about getting the young pianist on his squad.
Immediately, the janitor presented herself a worthy opponent. Completely unfazed by Darren’s idiocy, she just saluted back and told the private of misfortune that she already did the dirty work. Detective Darren made sure to take a mental note of that, although he wasn’t sure why.
Instead, they were doing an inventory check today. They were apparently gonna check all the closets. Darren shot a quick look at his companion of mischief. He thought it would be a lot harder to get in them closets. Either the janitor was terrible at hiding secrets, or incredibly good at it.
Surprisingly, Ryuusei went on the offensive too and began asking questions, and damn was he getting in the thick of it and asking the right questions right off the bat.
Nonetheless, Darren had a job to do and appearances to keep, so he kept doing what he referred to as talking, but could also be accurately described as shitposting with his mouth. No way was he gonna let Inspector Ryuusei one-up him.
“Hey dude, don’t diss the janitor. For all we know, she’s a ninja the principal hired who’s posing as a janitor.” His mind took the first idiotic idea that popped in it and ran with it. It was a good way to go. “I bet she can bet both of our asses with that broom and we wouldn’t even know it happened,” he continued, throwing the military ranks out the window and going ham on the ninja narrative to switch her up.
Daimon Darren took stoicism as a personal challenge, and Daimon Darren loudly boasted that he would meet any challenge.

They, just like everyone else asked about why she chose this job above all others. The answer was simple, and was the truth. "Think outside of the box, little ones, this isn't my only job." He would even go as far to mock her, as if being a janitor was a dream of hers. But in a way, it kind of was. "I planned to be a night janitor, but since there was no staff, I got stuck with the days. The jobs easy when you don't have to babysit some students." She would continue to walk, before stopping at the storeroom she also used as both her office, and her breakroom. Using her finger, the bone of her tip would extend and tear her skin, only to take shape of a key. Using her own bone quirk to open the door, she would absorb her key into her finger again before entering the room. She would press her fingertip to her waste, trying to quickly dry the blood as they entered. She was listening to their conversation as she passed into the dark room. It was about half the size of a classroom, a room probably left to be used as a club room, but was repurposed. There would be several rusted metal shelves, with partial board as the shelf itself. All of them were painted a different color, from pink, to yellow and sky blue. The smell of paint was still fresh. Kasey would slap the wall, only for a few of the lights to turn on, only for a few of the other broken bulbs to flicker with their working counterparts. There was no windows to this room, and upon inspection of the shelves, it could be seen that it was blood that was on them, not rust. Behind the door, the brooms and mops rested between the shelves and the door. In the far back of the room was two lockers, or cabinets. But Kasey had used them both for herself, since there was no sign that anyone else would get hired. And if they did, she would have seniority either way. Both of them would be locked by a padlock, both of them made entirely out of bone, and the keys to them would be just the same. In the back corner, a few garbage bins on little carts rested, along with the smaller cart that she used the mop for. "Welcome to my training dojo." she would say, making a point that she was listening to them the entire time. On the shelves were countless bottles of disinfectant, window cleaner, paper towels and other materials. Some were opened from their bulk packaging, while a lot was still wrapped up. Some of the materials were far too specific for the school to buy, and sat out of place. There was a few cans of insect killer and replant, all of them different brands and for different pests. The school would never have asked for her to try out several products, but all of them were from her own collection, and she was willing to test what worked best. "We need to count how many unopened things I got, like towels for the bathroom, and for other stuff. Also toilet paper. Since this QED popped up, everyone been poopin' too much." She would speak, walking to the back of the janitor's closet, and in the same manner of the front door, she would make her way to her locker, to get out a few of the papers she took notes on. She was going to make them count everything. ~ Word Count: 603 ~ |

I often feel like a butterfly with broken wings Little ones? We're both at least 5 centimeters taller than her, he thought as he heard what the girl had to say. Darren kept a good job at making the situation light and funny and Ryuu took that as their plan for the rest of the operation - if Darren was to be the good cop, than Ryuu would carry the burden of being the bad one. He winked at Darren as they both walked behind the girl janitor. When she finished responding, Ryuu gave a answer that bounced off the last thing the long haired female had said. Yeah, being a student at Yuuei is also easier when I don't have to follow janitors around to be honest with you.He kept the same pose as he walked, following her into what she called her "training dojo", a mention to Darren's previous words. Funny, wasn't she? One thing caught Ryuu's attention. He could look like a simple kid who hates everything and doesn't care about nothing, but he was also very attentive and observant. Since he was there under orders of the Principal, those details about him were even more active. Before entering the room, the girl stopped, stretched her and to the door and rotated it before being able to open said door - just like she had unlocked it with a key. Since they were behind her, Ryuu wasn't able to see it, but he found that weird. She didn't have anything on her hands, so how did she open that? The girl did not have anything on her hands when they met and not once did she put her hands on her pockets. So, where the hell did the key came from? Was it even a key? Maybe the door only open with her fingerprints? No, that would be too expensive and Yuuei wouldn't give such thing to a janitor... But then, how? Something special made for only her to be able to open the door? A special key or device that only she had and was always near her hand, maybe hidden on her wrist? Was that device the only thing that could open the door? Ryuu didn't figure it out, but was certain of one thing: If all the locks inside are like this one and, as it seems, are made in a way that only she can open them, it probably means that we can't even lockpick them, which will force us to open them by force and leave evidence that we messed around her stuff... It also means that she's hiding something... That or she is a really sensitive person about her privacy... Ahhh this sucks. He was probably overthinking the situation. Why did it matter that she unlocked the door without a key? Maybe she even grabbed the key from her pocket when Ryuu wasn't paying attention. Yeah, there was no way that girl drugged the water system, the Principal must be crazy. Standing next to Darren near the entrance door, he also realized that their previous plan was impossible now. This is where she keeps her own stuff, now it's not like I can sneak off and come here without her knowing because, well, we're already here... One of us has to make her leave and give time for the other one to look for stuff inside here.Darren, for all his jokes and funny persona, seemed to be smart dude. Well, at least enough to figure out the exact same conclusion that Ryuu had just reached. Then just point us to the stuff and we'll count them, he said, maintaining his role. On the back of his head, he could only think about one thing: Man, I could be home playing videogames right now.Notes: --- Words: 625. Tags: Daimon Darren Kasey Setsuna

“Just you watch,” he told Ryuusei, “That janitor boutta be on one of them talk shows bout how they pulled themselves out of poverty or something.”
That didn’t prevent the silver-haired girl from taking a potshot at them again. Before Darren could say anything, Ryuusei came back with a sweet repartee. Darren whistled. “Ayooo,” he said, which was a meaningless word he used to vocalize a variety of reactions without having to think of proper words.
The delinquent was quite surprised at the invisible boy. He took him for a pushover when he fled the first P.E. class, but he was finding that the cracking he was lacking in his feet was found in his mouth. It was a smart mouth, and smarting too.
The janitor then opened the door in a curious manner. He tried to shoot a quick glance; it seemed she was opening it with her finger. “Oh, do you have door opening quirk?” asked Darren naturally. It wouldn’t be too surprising that their hero school janitor had a quirk as well. As far as he could tell, the principal was the only one without a quirk here.
“Sensei,” Darren said, bowing respectfully in front of the dojo’s entrance with a dignified air about himself.
Straight after, he entered the room with the gait of a curious child. There was shit everywhere, some of it opened, some of it not. Toilet paper, cleaning shit, mops, and plenty of things which Darren would guess the name of given a thousand tries and his life on the line.
One thing which he could tell is that she had a collection of shit from different brands. Some of this shit Darren recognized because it had pictures of a variety of insects being suppressed by implacable barred signs.
“You sure have a lot of insect-killing crap, Sensei. It’s impressive. You take your jobs of killing these insectoid bastards very seriously,” he said rubbing his chin in an attempt to appear as serious as he was trying to sound for comedic effect.
They were ordered to count this shit. Darren shot his arms down in disappointment. “Aw, come on, Sensei, don’t make us do your busy work. Show us your art! Show us your ten thousand years broom technique, show us how to fuck up a bunch of wasps. Show us your art!” he repeated excitedly.
It was difficult to tell whether Darren had caught on to Ryuusei’s idea, or if he was just being his usual idiot self.

"Well, little grasshoppers, you shouldn't have fucked up then." She would say in reply to the boys comment. If he didn't want to follow around a janitor then he should have never made a mistake to get the wind of the principal in the first place. She would pass over the question of her quirk, having no reason to explain it to a few delinquents. "First count count, then maybe I teach fight fight." she would say, walking past all of the shelves to head directly to her own locker. Just like before, but with a bit more cheer, she popped her fingertip to craft another key made of bone, throwing it up to catch it. As she stood before her locker, she would grab the key only to press it into the lock. Dropping the bone lock onto the ground, it would shatter in seemingly a dozen or more pieces. She would swing open the doors of the locker to reveal a secret, her most prized secret, the one the students had been waiting this whole time to see... Candles were set upon various books, skulls, and other means like Halloween decor. The smell of them all filling the room with the scent of lavender and clean laundry. In the center of it all was a woven and stitched chair, where a figure made of some strange white material sat within the arms of the seat. Kasey would drop to her knees before the locker and press her hands together in silence. She would bow her head for a few moments, mumbling to herself before stepping back to her feet. She would grab a few clipboards at the bottle of the locker and spin around to face the students. With her foot she would extend it back behind her to shut the doors to her mystery. Was it so strange to have a shrine in your work locker made to honor your own gods? Surely you couldn't get fired over that, it would be discrimination! ~ Word Count: 336 ~ |

I often feel like a butterfly with broken wings Can't really argue with that, he replied to the girl still in the school hallways finishing their little first interaction with that. Despite playing bad cop, one should still realize when the one being investigated had a solid point and, well, she had: both Ryuusei and Darren could've avoided being there. But, at the same time, where would be the fun in that. Once inside, Darren decided to be way more upfront and directly ask the white haired girl about her Quirk... well, that was one way of going about doing stuff. Unfortunely, the girl didn't gave the two of them an answer, keeping the whole "I'm your sensei, obey me" type of persona. Fair enough, afterall, Ryuu and Darren were there under her supervision, so it was only natural. She was also bery casual about it... Maybe she really didn't had nothing to do with the drug incident. Yeah yeah, count, we know. Let's just get started, he said as he followed the girl, assuming she would lead them to the things they had to count. However... Uh?As she stopped a little ahead of Ryuu, the girl opened a locker,.Both Ryuusei and Darren could clearly see what was inside: some type of shrine. Such though would be confirmed when the janitor dropped her knees to the floor and started praying. As she stayed in that position, eyes not able to see the students, Ryuusei would slowly turned his head at Darren in disbelief. It was almost as if they were in a weird comedy movie that slowly turned into a creepy one. Mumbling, he started to talk close to Darren's hear while covering his mouth with his hand. Dude, what the actual hell is she doing? I mean, it's fine, but did she really have to do that right now and without warning first? I'm not going say nothing about it, but it's just weird as f-The girl was standing up and about to turn to them, so Ryuu quickly got a little away from Darren and straighten his body, trying to make it look that he was always in that position and totally not whispering something to his fellow detective. The girl was now facing them. There was silence... and Ryuu would not be the one to break it. Darren was good at talking, he would surely figure something cool to say. Yeah, I'm counting on you buddy, this is just weird to me, he thought. Getting into that room, Ryuu expected a lot of things... that wasn't one of them. Notes: Small post! Words: 425.
