| A ngel let out the smallest of sighs as both of her team mates made it quite clear that they were against her plan of cutting out the lights to try and sneak up on their foe and save the hostages. As they explained the reasoning behind their choices Angel found herself unable to be too upset because they were technically right and that her usual tactic of going in fists ready to punch away the bad guy wouldn't work in this situation and it seemed that her one approach to stealth wouldn't work either. This caused Angel's right eye to twitch in frustration. "Alright Yumi I'll follow your lead." Angel then watched as Yumi silently motioned to Feng to follow her up the stairs. Angel then silently walked up behind the three of them and tapped both of their shoulders before pointing to herself and then the sliced open window that she had made to enter in to their current floor which was basically her asking if she should enter the 5th floor through a window or if she should follow them. If they weren't gonna listen to her or at least give her plan a try she would remain mostly silent. Despite this however Angel couldn't help but feel a bit of unease about the thread that Feng had found earlier and decided to voice her opinion as they headed up toward the next hall, Angel stopping at the top of the stairs as the loud sound of something being dragged could be heard coming what seemed to be their way. Despite the feeling that if they all went the same way they would all end up being caught and possibly killed before their mentor came to save them and the hostages, but apparently she wasn't the leader with all the clever ideas that she thought she was and so with a sunken, but still determined heart and mind Angel followed Feng and waited by her side for Yumi to finish are recon. As she waited she placed a wing lightly around Feng's shoulder with a small smile. "We got this."sorry if it's a bit sloppy had to switch things up since we aren't going with my idea. |

(hey angel, if you could start using TLDRs it'd be appreciated thanks.)
Yumi took in Feng's warning with a simple 'got it' as she climbed the stairs, careful not to use her quirk where it wasn't needed, both to make them less easy to spot and hear coming, but also simply just to conserve energy. Even with her suit, keeping her quirk 'active' was a constant, if minor power drain on her reserves. As she reached the next floor up, the corridor stretching before them with two stores on either side, it seemed that everything was calm...for now.
"Alright guys. Remember. We can't confront them. We're here just to rescue hostages, and provide recon for yellow jacket. Speaking of..." She rested a hand on her earpiece. "Can you hear us still yellow jacket...?"
Regardless of the answer, she'd continue onward unless told otherwise, keeping a hand to her ear. "Everyone keep your voices low. You may have the instinct to raise your voice to communicate, but so long as we're on the same floor these things should do well enough catching eachother's whispers..." Yumi, as much as she might feel otherwise, was actually quite studious, so small things like this to keep their activity below detection, as small as they may be, were starting to add up as she pulled on them.
With the sound from one of the stores, she pulled to a stop, holding out an arm to her side to stop the others passing her.
"...Okay. 50-50, we're hearing one of the criminals move a hostage, or we're hearing bait for a trap...either way, I think I should follow the noise. N-no offense of course, I mean." She turned to the others a little. "With my speed, it'd be easiest for me to escape if it's a trap, and to grab a hostage if it isn't. Feng, Angel. Mind going the other way? Keep I'd suggest Angel go up into the store rafters. Your wings will be less noticeable up in the shadows above the lights. Feng, keep it low. Sound good?" She hoped that she'd given each of them a strong plan. From what she got out of angel she was a lot more headstrong and 'gung ho', so while her flying up to the ceiling may have briefly made her stand out, giving her the ability to use her wings would hopefully keep her calm.
If everyone WAS okay with it, Yumi would move into the store that had been the source of the noise, keeping low as she manuvered between the aisles.
-TLDR
Yumi checked if yellow jacket can hear them, and advised the team to keep voices low and stick solely to the earpieces.
Yumi suggested they split up. Her following the noise, the other two moving to the other store just incase. This is because she felt she was fast enough to react should things come from that sound she's following. Feng and ANgel were given suggestions to keep stealthy using their own skills.

It was showtime, the clock is running and the stage is set for the three of them.
Feng followed Yumi to the 5th floor with Angel joining up soon after. The floor was dead silent and given what part of the city they’re in, it only adds to the tension of the situation. The silence was deafening when they all entered but the silent was silently interrupted by the sound of something being dragged. Shops were a mess as signs of many people rushing out could be seen. It could be someone who hid somewhere when the commotion happened, or it could be a suspect. But it was hard to make out and considering the situation, it could be a hostage situation, or a trap set up by the suspect. Yumi signaled to stop and Feng made sure to follow as she tries to make out what the noise is. But to no avail she doesn’t have a quirk that gives her some enhanced senses. So now the group stands at an impasse where it’s a 50/50 chance that it could be the suspect or a hostage.
“Gotcha, I’ll head the other way but be careful…I have a bad feeling about this, Lightning.”, she whispered.
A part of her wants to run on ahead and see what’s up but with lives in danger and with zero clue about the suspect, it’d be suicide to do that. The tension weighed heavily on her, but she didn’t panic if she controlled her breathing. Can’t radio Yellow Jacket for help and the only people here who can help are the three of them and emergency services who are currently on their way here. It’s a situation that would inspire panic to the nth degree if she was weaker, but that isn’t the case and dwelling on what ifs is only making things worse. What she must focus on is the now and what she can do right now on the spot and thus she did.
Dragons Tempo: Quickstep
She took a deep breath and used a movement technique to stealthily move from cover to cover. Watching the area for any signs of movement and taking strides to look before dashing to make sure no traps are set off hopefully. After three or four quicksteps, she would look around for any signs of activity that looked recent. Things of note was a flickering light on the ceiling, some warm food that was in almost done and several bags with figures inside them. Better be safe than sorry with this kind of situation. But whatever happens, she is ready to spring into action when necessary. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TLDR: -Followed Yumi’s lead -Kept a sharp watch on the area around them. - Was fine with Yumi’s suggestion on taking a different route. -Used a new technique she has been working on to get around stealthily -Is now moving through quietly while watching her surroundings for anything out of place. -Is ready for action when the time comes for it.

Are you ready
Unnerved yet unabated by the stillness of the fifth floor, Yumi was quick to react to the mysterious sound, suggesting she take a look at it while Angel and Feng moved into the costume shop. With her speed, it would be a piece of cake to escape notice, if need be. Feng and Angel, however, needed to rely on being sneaky and unseen. Feng made it down the hall without error and could look into the cosplay department. If she followed Yumi's suggestion, Angel could fly up into the rafters and have the same view, at a different vantage point. Feng would see the cosplay store was relatively untouched, except for four very out-of-place objects...or, rather, people. There were four in total tied up in what looked like purple nylon rope: three high school age girls, two wearing the same school uniform, and one woman wearing a store ID pinned to her shirt, implying she was an employee there. None of them were moving, save the faintest signs of breathing, and at a distance it was impossible to see if they had any injuries. Yumi, moving slowly and low to the ground, found a large amount of pristine white tables and chairs, perfect for her to hide underneath. Fitting, as it was a cafe. But directly across from the entry was a figure. Tall and broad, dressed in a black hooded coat, they were facing away from the doorway. Whatever they were looking at was obscured by their figure, but given there was a counter between them and the wall, perhaps it was the cash register or something else of value. Something was...off, about this figure, even at a distance. Their arms, apparently fiddling with something in front of them, weren't moving at all. Their posture was rigid to the point that even their hood was standing up straight. What were they doing? Had they frozen because they'd heard her? Angel, meanwhile, flew up into the rafters a few feet above the wooden "walls", among hanging lights and thin metal bars. There was enough space for her to sit if she crouch atop the wooden walls. However as she would get closer, she would see something amidst the bars that was glinting against the bright white lights. Thin like piano-wire and, to the touch, just as sharp, there were dozens--no-- hundreds of little black threads weaving through the scaffolding. Where they all connected to would require her to follow them one way or the other, and they appeared to be going either from inside the cafe to the cosplay shop, or the other way around.

| Y umi had set the plan in motion and had given Feng and Angel their orders. They were to reach the other end of the stor to keep a good eye on things through different vantage points. Angel did not argue this fact as she just nodded and took a few quick quiet steps along with Feng before using her wings to lightly lift her into the air until she reached the rafters where she saw something that could probably cause a large issue for both them and for the hostages. Around her as she rested her wings against her back and crouched in a gargoyle position were hundreds of little black threads that looked to be razor sharp. Angel wasn't sure if her feathers could cut through them, and she also wasn't sure if she should so instead she decided to call it in with a whisper in her communicator. "This is Angel of Mercy in position, but we have a problem guys. I'm up in the rafters and the're are hundreds of these thin black and sharp looking wires all over the place. I'm not sure if my feathers can cut through them, but even if they can do you want me to before you make your entrance boss? They are connecting the shop to the cafe. I feel like they were put here just for people like you and me. They could easily rip our wings to shreds if we're not careful mentor. I'll hold my position and await your orders."As she waited Angel also spotted the four hostages all gathered up in one spot. More then likely as a trap to try and temp the heroes to get closer for whatever trap was waiting to be sprung. All Angel could really do was wait with her sword hand at the ready and her feathers ready to be launched. It was like the climax of a thriller movie and the match was about to be lit. (TL;DR: Angel followed yumi and Feng until Yumi ordered her to go to the rafters. 2-once in the rafters she noticed the hundreds of black wires around her. 3-she warned her team and put herself at the order for Yellow Jacket to tell her what to do.) |

Seemed everyone was on board with her plan. Yumi would be lying if she said she wasn’t at least a little surprised by that, if pleasantly so. Angel was on board quickly enough despite how firmly she’d stood by her previous plan, and even Feng seemed to go along with it. Angel Yumi could maybe put down to just wanting to take a following role after they’d pointed at the issues in her own plan, but if Feng wasn’t offering any issues than it seemed Yumi was on the right track, by their standards at least. She was more than a little unnerved by the fact yellow jacket hadn’t responded.
“Okay everyone, remember…no engagement unless absolutely necessary. Voices low, and even then, keep communication to the necessities.”
Yumi kept her power off so she didn’t emit a bright blue light to give away her location, and kept low. She wasn’t exactly trained in stealth but she did her best to remain low and move along any cover the store had. (funnily enough, she did have experience being down on her hands and knees though) When she spotted the source of the sound that had drawn her over, and the rather…odd looking figure who’d been causing, she actually found herself looking anywhere but him.
‘What was causing the sound…?’
The sound was like someone or something being dragged. Couldn’t have been a chair. The sound the legs would make would make would be…well, far more grating. No reason to be moving them anyway, wasn’t like it’d be easy to barricade…Angel messaged through mentioning the black wires. She felt like mentioning that Yellow Jacket didn’t seem to have contact with them right now, but so close to a potential criminal she wasn’t about to give up the game.
Thing was…black wires hanging from the rafters? Yumi had an idea but…
“Hey, yellow jacket?” She’d whisper imperceptibly soft, but trying to hold the devoice tight to her ear, as if that would somehow make her own voice easier to hear. “Hope you’re hearing this. I have reason to believe the man keeping the hostages captive may be tricking us but…I may need to engage to test the theory.”
She’d wait for any response. If she received none however…
“Incase this is recorded. This is Curved Lightning engaging the enemy…in the hope it’s not actually the enemy.”
With that, she looked about the tables closest to her. A tall glass of water on one. Instantly dismissed. Pure water was a poor conductor. She looked to a mug and shifted it down off the table. Lukewarm tea…so long as the water had impurities it should conduct. How WELL it conducted, she couldn’t say, but it was better than poor water. Very carefully, she’d tip the contents of the cup out, trying her best not to create a sound as she poured it out very, very slowly. As the liquid crawled along the floor, brushing against the foot of the odd looking figure, Yumi rested her hand in her end of the puddle…and turned on her quirk.
If she was right, and the impure water acted as a conductor, her electricity would rush along the liquid connecting Yumi to the figure, sparking at thefrom the foot. The spark would berapidly grounded in the same moment, doing minimal damage, but definitely causing some severe spasms in the leg muscles all the same.
tldr
Yumi has a hunch Tries to communicate with Yellow one last time. If there’s no response, she pours out some tea from one of the café tables, and uses it for a stealth attack of minimal damage to test a theory. She believes if the criminal has a string based quirk, the dragging sound she heard was this figure, being dragged along the ground.

Nice, so far so good for sneaking part! But…
Feng kept her head down as she made her way down the hall, noting various fixtures as she quickly passed them towards her point of focus, the cosplay store. The floor still had a lingering feeling of uneasiness as she checked her surroundings before moving closer. What she saw inside was a rather well-organized store filled with all the matter of cosplay that would drive many models crazy with the variety.
But out of the corner of her eye, to her left she could see the hostages that Yellow Jacket briefed us before the group went in. Mentally noting down their numbers and their current state from what she could see visually. As she does this, Angel and Yumi radio in with their respective situations and the situation gets funkier by the minute.
“Typhoon Dragoon reporting in. I have confirmed visual on the hostages; three students and a woman. No visible signs of harm done. Yellow Jacket, are you available for pick up?. ” she notifies over the radio.
She found the hostages which is fantastic, but what did the suspect leave out for her? They wouldn’t just leave these hostages on their own without a backup plan set up. Traps or something to make sure that the situation was under their full control.
The strings that were laid out above them, the mysterious figure, the snapping sound from earlier, still haven’t found the source of the dragging sound from earlier. This all feels like one massive trap but with no way to confirm or try anything and she must rely on her gut instincts on this one. She glanced around her to check for any mannequins that were missing from any of the other store fronts. With that many threads up in the ceiling they must be there for a reason. But with no time to check, she must consider her options rationally.
Feng took a deep breath to gather up her thoughts to prevent herself from overthinking and then moves forward.
“I will check on the condition of the hostages. Typhoon Dragoon out.”
She quickly moves on into the cosplay store, being wary of any traps lying in wait for anyone. If nothing happens then she would go up to check on the conditions on the hostages and spend her energy to try and get them out. But if something does happen, she will quickly react and hit or dodge to the thing that sprung if possible. If no response from Yellow Jacket occurs, then she tries to think up a few plans in case something goes awry. Better be safe than sorry. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TLDR: -Notes the various stores that she has passed for anything out of place. -Has visual on the hostages -Radios in on their situation and thinks about what to do next. -She carefully takes steps to check on the hostages. -Is wary of any traps the suspect hidden and is relying on her gut instinct at this point.

It was difficult for Angel to find a place in the rafters among all the threads, but they were at least tangled up in the bars, meaning there were a few feet of space for her to perch upon the "wall". However the closer she was to them, and the longer she sat there, the more she could make out a soft, high-pitched keening sound. It appeared to be coming from her own ears--or rather, her hearing aids. It was increasing in volume steadily; too long up here, and it may become painful to listen to. Her radio calls, both in and out, made spikes of angry electronic noises to her and her alone. There was no response from Yellow Jacket. Feng found no traps in the entry way into the cosplay shop, but moving carefully and quietly allowed her time to look for anything unusual. Now inside, she could see the shop was a wreck. Wigs and costumes strewn about, boxes toppled over, and scuff marks here and there from multiple struggles. The women all remained still as Feng approached. She could see some markings on them, but without medical knowledge she wouldn't be able to tell how severe they were; there were red marks along the throat of two of the women, the older store-aide and on of the girls in uniform, and bruises lining the arms of the fourth, uniform-less girl. The last girl, the other one in a school uniform, had scrapes on her knees and cheek. There was no response from Yellow Jacket. Then Yumi went into action. Through the conducting nature of the tea her electricity went across the concrete floor toward the feet of the figure, and the effect it had was instantaneous: the person's legs began to twitch and jerk and, suddenly, gave out from under them. What happened after that was likely not in her calculations. As the person fell, it was not their whole body that did so--or rather it was their full body that fell to the ground, but their torso appeared to stay in the air as the rest of him went limp below it. Then their torso, the black hooded jacket, jerked alive, and their whole body spun around to face Yumi. Inside the hood she did not see the upright face that its stiff posture would suspect, but instead, the man inside was lolling forward inside the hood, limp and moving only to the stiff movements of the jacket. It stretched its arm out towards her--she could see his hands, too, were unresponsive in the sleeve holes--and there was the hissing of something very quickly moving over metal. A whirring, awful sound that hurt to listen to. Up above Angel could see precisely what the noise was. Wires were suddenly moving, sparks flickering off where they were tied around or pressing against the metal bars as they did so. The direction of the sparks indicated they were being pulled towards the cafe, away from the cosplay shop. Angel would have just enough time to alert Yumi...if the sudden sharp screeching of her headpieces didn't distract her. There was a burst of thin black wires from the ends of the hoodie's sleeve that flew through the air towards Yumi, the glint of the light keeping them visible despite their thinness. Although they possessed no sharp tip to them, being hit or, worse, wrapped up in them was likely not a good idea. Meanwhile, with Feng, the girl with scrapes on her knees gave a small but noticeable twitch, her breathing growing stronger. She was conscious. Clearly dazed, but conscious.

| A ngel had to admit that despite the fact that they had their differences Yumi was both smart and beautiful in her approach to things. The mere fact that she thought to use a nearby liquid to amplify her quirk was pretty genius. Sadly Angel wouldn't have proper time to appriciate the move as the black wires in the rafters where she was perched began to move from the cosplay shop toward the cafe making sparks as they went and what made things worse was that for some reason her radio and her hearing aids began to cut in and out. Someone was messing with the airwaves which meant not only would her combat abilities be hindered since her hearing was cutting out,but they were also cut off from their mentor. "Shit! What is this bastard up to!?"Knowing she couldn't stay in the rafters with the wires moving around Angel let herself drop from them into a gap between them and the wall. This was when Angel noticed more black wires rushing toward Yumi and with their coms cut out that meant stealth was finally out the window and so Angel used her strength to push off of the wall, spread her wings and fly down the hall toward Yumi gripping her triple P as she went. The stealth part of their operation was over. It was time to fight. "C.L. look alive! Black wires heading straight for you!"In order to both give herself some time to reach her team mate as well as give her team mate time to dodge if she needed it Angel fired 4 bronze hard feathers toward the wires to try and deflect them or at the very least slow them down so that the two ladies had time to get together so that they could double their odds of winning the upcoming fight. "Whoever this guy is is using something to mess with electronic devices! Coms are out! Time to fight!"As she rushed down the hall and gave her warning Angel flipped the second switch on her triple P to make the end of the blade become visible so that she was ready for the fight to come. It was time for their first real fight against the forces of evil. (tl:dr: 1-Angel noticed the wires in the rafters begin to move and so she jumps down to the gap below her. 2-she also notices that her hearing aids and coms are cutting in and out and so she begins to rush for Yumi. 3-While rushing for Yumi she warns her about the wires heading her way while launching feathers to try and slow down or deflect the wires. So everything are not what they seem…
The moment Feng entered the shop, she knew something was off as everything outside was so pristine. Looking around the place, it looks like some of them put up quite a struggle before getting caught. She scans the area for signs of a trap, but it was clear. She made her way up and checked the hostages for any injuries, but without any medical knowledge she is left to guess that there is fine. Noticing the bruises and that two of the victims have red marks on their throats. Can’t say it was lucky that she found them on time as she can’t tell if their condition is good or not.
“Angel, Lightning, I have found the hostages. Condition of two of them are unknown. All of them have sustained injuries. Request for assistance in escorting them out of here…”
As she talked on the radio, a voice in the back of her mind is screaming that something is wrong. Things are not just adding up as to what happened and why there are strings set up above, the messed-up store with wigs and dresses strewn about, the snapping sound from earlier, and the supposed suspect that Yumi is engaging right now.
“This seems way too easy…why would they go to the trouble in setting this up…unless”
It was then the thought hit, as she her eyes quickly darted around the store. Where are the mannequins?! Unless they were hidden in a cleaver fashion, she did not see a single store front figure around the area. Making the connection with the strings and how everything is set up. It’s either her fears are completely unfounded, and she is going crazy or they’re in for a puppet show. But before Feng could radio in her thoughts, one of the hostages started to wake up. The girl is slowly regaining consciousness and she could have some information on the suspect. She went up to the hostages and did her best to untie them. After a few moments of deliberation, she put her legs near their bindings and ignited her springs for a moment to undo the bindings quickly.
“Are you alright? Are you seriously hurt anywhere? Do any of…”
Feng asks the girl as she tries to provide some treatment to her wounds. Asking slowly as she still dazed and will possibly be afraid as to what is happening now. But she doesn’t need to be a doctor to know for a fact that they need to medical attention soon and with zero clue on the suspect, getting them out of here is going to be dangerous.
Before the radio went down, she could hear Yumi and Angel readying up to engage the enemy. Which complicates things for her even more as she now must figure a way to keep them safe the moment the fight begins. A god damn domino effect if she has ever seen one.
“God dammit, they’re about to engage the enemy. I need to protect these girls before we could even think of getting them out of here…”
She thought out loud as she gets into a fighting stance. There’s no telling what is going to happen and by god she is scared to find out what the suspect has in store for the likes of them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TLDR: -Confirms the condition of the hostages. -Made an inference of what is going on and what is going to happen maybe. -Did her best to provide emergency care to the hostages. - Undid their bindings by utilizing her quirk. -Is now in a fighting stance and is playing defense.

Yumi jolted back as it seemed like someone was in the 'puppett' she was now very sure she could call that. Her hunch had been right, but a little misaligned, and she'd have to explain to this guy why one of his legs was sore later. For now though the freaky imagery of a real person being strung up like this was not pleasant. She tried to see if there were any fine wires above the man's head, but her eyes weren't exactly the best. Constantly viewing the bright flashes of your own quirk didn't really do your eyes any good.
"Yellow Jacket's gonna kill me for this later...!"
The warning from Angel gave Yumi enough time to suspect something was coming, but the fact the wires were moving from above before the attack came meant, even if Yumi couldn't directly see the strings, there WERE strings connected to this thing, or it wouldn't need the sudden rush coming towards it. With a burst of electricity from her front, she shoved herself hard off the ground, the strings striking the table legs she'd been hiding about instead of her. The moment she landed again she turned her head to the right, circling about the maid cafe till she was behind the counter, and striking her arm in a line across her.
A crescent shaped string of electrical energy launched from her arm, burning through the air, trying to cover as much area above the head. Hopefully the strings were flammable and her electricity could burn through them or heck, somehow cut through them simply enough, but one can only hope when you have such limited imformation.
If she...needed to, she could probably get a feel of the fabrics. She worked in making cosplays a lot so she could probably tell what kind of fabric this person could manipulate. For now though, it was mostly just blind luck.
"Feng!" She'd call back, still whispering but in a sharp tone given the situation. "Sorry I kinda got my hands full here. Angel's seeing the strings so they're in the rafters...but the criminal's focus is on me. The criminal is probably in that store with you, so if you're gonna move the hostages, be extra careful! Ask them for any information they have, pass it on, and then get them somewhere safer than this."
TLDR
Yumi dodged the attacks with B rank speed Darted behind the counter and used a wide strike to try and cut any wires she can't see above the puppet's head. Asked Feng to be careful. She feels evidence says the criminal is in the store Feng is in, and she should ask the hostages for any info they have on the guy before getting them somewhere safe...or reverse order is fine, but info would be good either way.

Are you ready
The wires rushing through the air towards Yumi were struck by a quartet of feathers, and, while they did not stop completely, sparks flew off from them and their course was momentarily disrupted. However strong these threads were they were matched against Angel's feathers. Yumi managed to dodge them with significant ease. When they crashed into the wooden table legs instead, the simple wood shattered into dozens of splinters and shards. However rather than another try, the threads embedded themselves into the cement floor. Then, like a proper puppet, the man suspended in the black hoodie was pulled forward by those threads, moving towards the middle of the room, his limp legs dragged along beneath him. The man that was inside the hoodie must have been hurt quite badly to stay unconscious through Yumi's lightning and being dragged around. Once it reached the center of the room the sleeve was once again raised, but this time towards Angel, and once again a trio of razor-sharp threads went out in her direction. That was when Yumi fired a bolt of lightning. -- BAD LUCK ROLL: YUMI-- The lightning collided with the threads above the suspended man's head, but rather than being lit aflame or cut--or any of the better possibilities--the lightning hit the thread...and then was absorbed into the material. There was a rush of blue sparks that traveled up along the wires to the wires in the rafters, momentarily lighting them up clearly to be seen on the ground below. However, just as it traveled up, so to did the sparks travel down into the hooded jacket itself. And the man still inside it. The man's eyes suddenly shot open as a direct current to Yumi's electricity--far stronger than what she had used to jolt his legs moments ago--went charging through his body. By the time the sparks had dispersed the man was left twitching, his body spasms causing him to slip more into the hood. If it moved again he was likely to fall and hit himself on the concrete below, but at least the pain he'd taken from Yumi's electrical shock was enough to jolt him awake. His eyes were looking around frantically, too weak or too pained to speak. Meanwhile, in the costume shop, Feng burned through the bindings wrapped around the conscious girl with ease--despite the thickness of the rope, it was still only plain string and cloth. The girl besides her that was still out cold slid against her shoulder. By the way the awake one clung to her, and their matching school uniforms, it was clear they were friends. " I-...I have scrapes, and my head really hurts, b-but I'm fine. Is Harru-chan okay? That w-woman threw her in--" The girl had a moment to scan the shop, and when they landed on the fourth hostage with the bruises on her arms, her voice suddenly cut off. Her eyes went wide in terror. " She--!" Just then the blue sparks went over the rafters above them, lighting up the strings hidden and tied up there, then traveled downward still...until they were dancing along threads so thin and so fine they had been completely invisible to Feng until now. They traveled straight down into the shop, not into the shelves or behind any of the costume pieces... ...but directly down to the "unconscious" hostage. The woman let out a painful shriek as lightning coursed through her, but it was not as strong for her as it was for the man absolutely surrounded by the thread. Instead it only jolted her back straight and head backwards for a second. When she lowered her head again her eyes were open, revealing their pure white color, save for their pupils which were a brilliant light purple. Her expression turned into a cold sneer. " That hurt," she snarled, and the ropes apparently tied around her fell loose to the ground. She stood up to her full height. She looked not much older than Feng, but her body was too thin, her limbs ever so slightly too long, her skin sickly pale. " Didn't think they'd straight-up attack him. That works for me. But you need to forget seeing this." The white-eyed woman extended her hands, and, wrapped around her wrists, a trio of black ribbons turned into another set of razor sharp wires, only this time they were wrapped tightly together, shooting directly toward Feng like a spear. The girl next to her screamed.

| A s Angel's feathers manged to deflect the previous attack and Yumi managed dodge it and get away she smirked as it seemed they were finally gaining ground. This smirk wouldn't last long however as the young winged girl saw from the corner of her eye as Yumi let out an electric blast toward the wires hooked to the ceiling only for them to be absorbed and sent through the apparent hostage hooked up in the wires. That's when it hit Angel like a ton of bricks. They weren't fighting two foes, but a single foe fighting from two directions. This gave Angel an idea so crazy it had to work. "C.L.! Hold off on the current until I say! The guy hooked up in these wires isn't our foe,but a decoy! Wherever the real bad guy is these wires probably hooked to them! I'm gonna try and free the hostage! Once I get clear let the sparks fly!"As she told Yumi her plan and she got closer to her target Angel looked forward to see more wires headed her way with no signs of stopping. Angel just steeled her nerve and fired four more feathers at the attacking strings to once again deflect them. She would then do her best to fly around the group of hostage keeping wires in hopes of getting to the man to try and pull him free so that Yumi could do what she did best. It was a downright dirty trick to use a hostage as not only a weapon, but as a fake target, but angel had to admit that it was a smart one. As she tried to get in close she did her best to give the man a reassuring gaze and keep her voice calm. "Don't worry we'll get you out of this. Just hold on a little longer!"(tl:dr : 1-Angel continues to rush who she thinks is the foe,but realizes that it's a hostage being used as a puppet when Yumi shocks him which also leads her to think the wires must be connected to the main host. 2-tells Yumi her plan of pulling the hostage free so she can shock the wires to take out the host. 3-uses 4 more feathers to deflect the wires attacking her. 4-tries to get in close to the hostage to pull him free.) Ok, she has secured the hostages and seems like the villain is being taken care of….
Or so it seems because this entire situation doesn’t feel right at all. It was all too easy and the culprit was freely manipulating the wires, so they haven’t left the building. Many thoughts were going through her head as she freed the conscious hostage. The girl was scared as all people should be in a situation like this.
Feng listened to her as she watched her scan the shop. This girl is going to be the biggest asset since she knows how the culprit looks like. The sounds of Angel and Yumi securing the target could be faintly heard as this goes on.
"Calm down, do you see the suspe-"
But suddenly a shock trail was heading right towards one of the hostages. For only a moment, Feng thought this was a trap set up by the suspect to mess with them. But as it hit, something felt off about this girl. She couldn’t tell before due to the lack of knowledge but she knew her hunch was right in a way. But the realization hit her like a truck as the “hostage” was jolted from Yumi’s electricity. This was the worst case scenario for her and Yellow Jackets words echoed in her head, don't engage unless necessary and considering the hostages, the true culprit now standing in front of her and no way to immediately contact Angel and Yumi.
The girl snarled her response to surprise shock and from what Feng could tell from a glance, she was almost the same age as her but she looked abnormally thin. Her eyes were the most striking part of this individual and one could only wonder what caused this girl to become what she is today.
“Like hell I’ll forget this !”
Feng responded out loud as the suspect primed up for an attack. Projectile weapons and they're wires, thats two ideas on what this girls quirk is but she could be hiding something else. The situation has escalated and her top priority is to get this girl away from the hostages and subdue her. She quickly pushed aside the two hostages to get them out of harm's way. Putting focus on her solely and if she took it, it would make her job a bit easier not if more dangerous.
“Find some cover, I’ll take her on !!”
As the wires shot at her, she dashed ahead and ducked under them as they flew over her head. They were fast but Feng’s speed was her game and those wires felt a bit slow from her point of view. Narrowly avoiding getting a hole through her head, Feng ignited her leg as she was closing in on the suspect, aiming to knock them back into the wall and do some damage.

(if i read this right nothing actually came after Yumi, correct me if wrong of course)
Yumi heard Angel call out that there might be a connection from the strings to the real villain, and given the puppet act going on she was inclined to agree. She felt like reminding everyone not to raise their voices but she'd just hold silent herself to make sure that her own part of these plans wasn't so obvious. With a burst of electrical energy she flowed up into the rafters, and did her best to make sure that she was in position. She didn't know if Angel was actually strong enough to cut through those strings but...she'd trust that if the villain was stretching themself this thin, there was some chance that even a basic ass knife could cut these strings by now.
Flowing up into the strings, she narrowed her eyes, trying to compensate for her mildly blurred vision and get some of the strings. If she got tangled in them that wasn't too bad so long as they didn't get her vitals, in fact...the more tangled the better if she still had free movement.
Slamming down her feet, she'd purposely wrap her arms around as much of the strings as possible, and clasp them tight in her hands. With so much of it around her arms and in her palms, she was bound to get friction burn, but the damage a single string could do across her skin was less than many strings could do spread across her body. The bed of nails effect. The more the force was spread across her skin, the less deep each string would cut.
She reversed the outputted charge and magnetised herself to the metal scaffolding in the raftors, the best she could do to make sure she stayed in place. A mild charge flowed in the wires but not enough to reach the source...she just waited for Angel's signal.
Hopefully she'd still have arms by then...!
(Sorry for the wait
Yumi used B rank speed to get into the raftors, grabbed arms full of string, and stuck herself to the raftors as best she could)
