"If I can't enter the building because of the tremors, you shouldn't get distracted by someone calling out for help! They'd be idiots if they let one person move in here alone. If it's the other team, then it's their problem. We wouldn't abandon a civilian in danger for a villain would we?" Haruuhi stated rather coldly into the bluetooth, shaking her head as shivers started to run up her spine. It wasn't until Haruuhi had started to walk into the building that it really sunk in she was in a hospital. The same kind of hospital she had just spent a lot of her time recovering in. The same kind of hospital that Thundershock...
'No... now's not the time to freak out about that... try again!' She scolded herself, stopping halway down the staircase towards the third floor. She placed her hands on the wall, about to use her radar once again when Yoruhi spoke into the microphone once more. There was a large hole in the second floor, somewhere he could see her probably. She mulled this over but then nodded her head, sighing as she hurried down the staircase now, using the advanced manoverability of her braces to jump and swing around the staircases with ease. She needed to move fast. If Yoruhi wasn't here with her, then she needed to get these civilians out before whatever he was distracting came for her.
She finally found the large 2 on the wall indicating she was on the second floor. She pushed her way through the door that was left jammed halfway opened then popped into the hallway which again, resembled her unit. This was a patient ward, and she could hear the beds crashing against each other and shaking like crazy. The lights that had fallen out of place where swinging back and forth in the tremors and Haruuhi let out a soft whine, biting her lower lip to silence herself, hoping that hadn't resonated through the bluetooth.
'ok ok ok ok ok... I'm okay... radar... yeah...' Coaxing herself once more, Haruuhi closed her eyes and shakily lifted her arms again, aiming on both sides of her. She began to unleash smaller radiowaves that she had before, hoping that they would be so minute that they wouldn't be affected by the tremors, yet still strong enough to locate the dummies.
Lo and behold they did! Her eyes snapped open again and she promptly marked the civilians location on her HUD. She only had a brief window of time where the map generated by her radar appeared on that HUD and so Haruuhi started to run. Her run was by no means elegant thanks to the tremors, but it didn't need to be. She avoided most of the obstacles with ease, stopping only once when she entered the room the two civilian dummies were waiting in. As she stopped, one of the large beds came rolling towards her, crashing into her and pinning her up against the jarred door. A loud gasp and exclamation of pain escaped her lips as she felt the bed smack her wrist. While it had been healed, that had hurt like a bitch and immediately made her mind think of the torture she'd had to endure at the hands of Bucket... the shattered bones of her wrist which she could still feel moving around inside of her.
Haruuhi's heart started to race as she gripped the bedrail tightly, her breath growing quicker and quicker as her mind started placing her in a state of panic. Small tears began falling from her eyes as she stared wide eyed out of her helmets visor. The two dummies were right there, being tossed this way and that towards the open gaping hole to the outside world. They were just dummies... but Haruuhi could imaging it... two sick and injured kids, just like her... two people completely unable to defend themselves from the natural disaster all around them. A hero so close to them they could feel the hope of their rescue...
"I'll have two... civilians in a... second..." She tried not to whine again, sniffling back the tears in her eyes as she used her legs to push the bed off of her as hard as she could.
"G...gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" She grunted as she pushed it, watching it roll and bound away from her as the tremors started again. She shook out her now pained wrist, running towards the two civilians as fast as she could. She leaped over a wheelchair onto a second bed, and when she jumped off she grabbed the mattress and tossed it out of the open hole in the wall. She then grabbed hold of one mannequin, tucking it under her right arm, then did the same with the second. She ran out towards the hole and looked down at the mattress lying precariously below them.
"Oooooooh this is going to hurt..." She spoke directly to yoruhi this time, aiming her trajectory and jumped out the hole towards the mattress down below.
WC: 869 TLDR: Haruuhi parcoured down to the second floor, got pinned against the wall by a bed and hurt her right wrist. moved bed, scooped up both mannequins and jumped out the hole of the second floor to hopefully land on the hospital bed mattress below.

Post by Mozuku Momoko on Mar 22, 2019 23:04:24 GMT -4
Momoko prepared for another takeoff by clamping down tight on the shoulder. She was easily strong enough to keep her incredibly light frame latched on, but Slinkee might have felt some pressure on the shoulder during the jump as a result. But she did invite Momoko to hang on tight. ...granted, it might have been sliiightly tighter than she had intended when the jump just barely made it.
"Score!" The two were greeted by a huge hole in the roof which would allow them to access the building, if not safe, at least more safely than from below. Momoko couldn't help but wonder what kind of crazy reactivity that fluid had for it to be able to blow up like that, assuming that the source of the hole was caused by them, of course.
Momoko would jump off Slinkee's shoulder in order to approach the hole herself, having little fear of the possible structural instability around the edges due to her minute size, and went as far as to peek right over the edge. The sunlight that shone down along the makeshift skylight revealed a very chaotic office building. Farrah's status update came through as the small girl peeked, and Momoko fiddled the position of her own's a little to get the microphone part up to her front. "There's a huge hole up here to the fourth floor. All jumbled up but no flood. We'll enter from here." Momoko turned her attention back to Slinkee. "Let's cover more ground by splitting up! Just let me know if there's some place you can't access!"
And with that, she jumped down the hole, landing tactfully down on the corridor below and was off to search the fourth floor. The damages that the building had suffered didn't particularly hinder her progress, as there usually was some sections that the small girl could shimmy through or make hefty jump over. She failed to make any notable notice about the barrels as a result.
Momoko also almost missed the fourth floor's victim thanks to her perspective, managing to catch onto the mannequin's grip only during her final survey of the room. While informing the others first would have been more sensible, she wanted to give a crack at it herself. Her first thought was to use her wire to give her a better grip by tying it around the mannequin's neck in order to pull them up, but she didn't get beyond making the knot before remembering that these were supposed to be real people. Real people didn't like thin wires around their necks. She gave in with a frustrated sigh and opened up the microphone to inform the situation and her approximate location based on where they had entered. After that, she'd keep watch on the fellow should their grip slip up until Slinkee would get there. Farrah's own situation update would come through during this period, driving home that neither of the support students were being all the useful at the moment. Should Slinkee manage to arrive, Momoko would promptly hand the responsibility to the foreigner as she'd continue her search in the hopes of being more productive.
Ideally the small girl would make her way to the third floor entrance, having found anything else of note, and would witness the flooding situation on the third floor. "...oh boy"
WC: 556
Summary: - Momoko jumps down to the 4th floor through the hole and is off to search. - She finds the mannequin, and after failing to do anything about it informs others about it while keeping watch. - Should everything go as planned, she'd then continue her search down to the third floor's entrance.

❝You're showing me colours of the sky, But all I see is Grey❞ 637 w. Rescue course kenjutsu-f | reinforcement-f | radiant dawn-e Relena grit her teeth angrily as she put all of her strength into pushing the debris out of the way. The water level was high enough that the mannequin was barely able to hang in there, so she didn't have much time to save him. With one final push she was able to free the victim from their pinned dilemma.
"Yes! Alright, now let's get-eh?"
She heard something coming from outside. It was loud...and coming her way. Relena's eyes widened in shock as the wave coming rushing in through the window with such violence that she barely had time to react. The mannequin would be drowning by now, so she bent over to snatch him up. So focus was she that as Relena reached her left arm out to take it's hand, she failed to see a broken piece of the bleachers which swayed dangerously from the wall.
With the massive surge of water, it was just enough to break off and careen directly at the girl and slam into her arm before floating off uselessly across the room. Relena let out an ear piercing scream of agony at the hit and her arm hung down limply. It shook internally with numbing pain as it drifted in the shoulder deep water.
The only thing that had kept it from fully breaking was her body's own reinforcement. Still, she wasn't sure if she could move it too well now.
"God damnit!" She hissed, grabbing the mannequin and throwing him onto her back. She wasn't sure how she would escape the room with this much water...and with one usable arm. Think Relena...think!
She reached out for more sunlight to form a thin strand and pulled it toward her mentally, wrapping the mannequin around her torso to keep it in place. With him firmly against her, the girl began to wade through the water carefully. At certain deep points, she was forced to tilt her body and stroke toward the window with her one arm...which was far more difficult than she had thought.
Eventually she had reached the window while huffing heavily. Her good arm grabbed the mannequin as she vaporized her string of light and threw him up onto the solid ground. She put her strength into her legs and, with a desperate push, she jumped out of the water and back onto the ground.
Relena landed on her damaged arm and grunted in pain. But there was no time to waste. She had to move...for Ryuusei's sake. So she snagged the wet victim by the arm and threw it's arm around her shoulder, carrying it like a wounded soldier to the designated extraction point that she and Ryuusei had agreed upon.
She set him down gently and smiled warmly, covering up the pain. "Hey, you're going to be safe now. Sorry I said a swear. Wait for me okay?"
The blonde gave a thumbs up and a wink before running back to the school, this time taking the other side's window where the kitchen was. Of course this room would be flooded as well and Relena would immediately notice the cables. She was breathing heavily from the pain and was starting to feel fatigue set in. But if she were to spot Ryuusei attempting to save the mannequin on the ceiling, she would call out to him.
"Hey! The lower area is...ugh flooded more. Be careful, Ryuusei. I-I think I can make a solid floor for you though. But you'll have to be fast...I don't think I'll be able to focus the light for long with your weight. Maybe a minute or two."
If Ryuusei would accept her help, then Relena would tap into her quirk to create a runway from the cooker to the window, about as wide as a plank of wood. It would be all she could do with the pain flaring up in her arm.
-Relena manages to save the mannequin! -Part of the bleachers breaks from the wave -Crashes into her arm. -Though it isn't fully broken, she cannot properly use it -Gets the mannequin out and onto the extraction zone -Goes to the kitchen window -If Ryuusei sees her, she'll create a light runway from the cooker to the window -Pain is making her fatigued

Post by Takumi Fujimoto on Mar 26, 2019 0:42:17 GMT -4
Takumi didn't know much about any of this rescuing business to begin with, but given that hypothetical lives were on the line, it was time for him to start learning. Who better to learn from than the aggressively confident foreign student hand picked to represent another school at the sports festival? While Takumi was agreeable to Aiden's plans for the sake of maintaining a smooth group dynamic between them and Chise so that their teamwork wouldn't suffer, a bigger part of him was relieved and happy to go along with the Canadian's command for the sake of not stressing over making bad decisions himself in a situation he was still green in. With Chise in agreement as well and beginning her role in the plan by puckering up to Aiden, it was time for the boys to keep true to their own roles and start working together while she focused on being a well placed distraction.
Literally following along under Aiden's supervision and command, Takumi nodded along to being told to follow his lead. The general consensus was that Chika could hold her own serving as a minor deception for the "enemies" to deal with while the two boys could work together and retrieve the mannequins. As they reached the building housing the various hostage victims awaiting rescue, it spontaneously combusted, eliciting a startled and emotionally charged expletive from the Canadian before he jumped into a more coherent, albeit unproductive, panic and voicing of frustrations.
After pointing out the painfully obvious, Aiden turned to Takumi and asked about his quirk and whether or not it could be used to help quench the flames. In a panic, Takumi looked up at the structural inferno with dumbfounded eyes before looking back at Aiden, a cold sweat breaking out slightly. Despite Aiden being pulled out of his element of confidence and appearing lost beyond saving, Takumi wasn't exactly looking like he could suddenly take control.
I-! Uh-!...
Takumi could barely push audible words through his mouth before looking back at the flaming building again, turning his palms up and up to his chest before he looked down at his fingers. His foam could put out small campfires with little problem, but this?!
Doesn't matter! Let's go!
He was still in a panic, but Takumi was acting instead of just freezing. The one thing he had any certainty in, was that regardless of his quirk's ability to extinguish flames, there were still "innocent people" in danger inside the burning building that needed rescuing. Takumi bolted towards the nearest opening or door, but stopped dead in his tracks after three strides, freezing momentarily and gulping heavily as his heart pounded against his rib cage.
No, no... We aren't in danger. Yuuei wouldn't let us burn alive, no way!
Takumi's momentary freeze would only be broken by his mental gymnastics to justify and convince himself that he and Aiden weren't in genuine danger; perhaps the boy was too naive for the rigors of a prestigious hero school but at least this naivete might prove useful for once.
If Takumi and Aiden were able to get inside the building, his eyes would be drawn quickly to the mannequin most immediately near him, his opposing tendencies to zone out and tunnel vision working together to cause him to miss the other three. The adrenaline of the crazy situation plus the heavy heat from the burning building not helping his mind function normally at all.
Takumi would run towards the mannequin sitting near the entrance on top of the checkout and he would point his right hand outwards towards any nearby flames, fingers fanned out so that his foamy spray would cover a fair amount of area as he tried his best to put out some of the flames. Unfortunately, the amount of foam that he could discharge was rarely ever enough to put out more than a small campfire. As he tried to run towards the mannequin, stuff would fall and hit Takumi on his head and shoulders, prompting the boy to bright his left arm up to cover up and act as a poor substitution for an umbrella.
If Takumi was able to get to the mannequin, he would pause quickly and point his right arm out at the nearest flames, with his left hand still covering above his head, and he would take in a deep breath to help pump out more foam. Whether or not the heavy inhalation would contribute to producing enough foam would remain to be seen, but unfortunately Takumi knew very little about breathing in a burning building, nor did he know anything about crawling to stay at a lower, and safer, altitude. As foam shot out from beneath his fingernails, Takumi would begin coughing and hacking up a storm, like someone whom had just quit smoking a few days ago. The wheezing and lowering oxygen levels due to the burning would cause a sense of light headedness in Takumi, which in turn left him in a slight stumble before he lunged out and posted his left arm on the register for balance, leaving his head completely unprotected for any more falling debris.
At this point, Takumi had completely forgotten about any possibilities of more mannequins, or even Aiden's presence, unless of course he made himself obviously apparent to him. After a moment of bracing against the register, Takumi would lean forward and down slightly and cough up more, this time not as hacking as before, and tried his best to clear his mind.
Save them! Right!
Takumi snapped back into remembering what the goal was, and he tried his best to wrap his arms around the mannequin, carefully picking it up if he had the strength to do so by either rotating the arm so that it could lean on his own shoulder and he could carry it out like a limping friend, or just bear hugging from behind and dragging it out if the appendages couldn't be moved or if it was just too heavy. Takumi would try his best to get it to the entrance, but unfortunately with his hands tied up with the mannequin, he would be temporarily unable to focus on putting out fires or protecting from falling debris.
------------------------------------------------------
- Takumi is happy to let Aiden lead and follows along - Takumi nods along with Aiden's orders and then the building bursts into flames - Takumi feels panicked, looks at Aiden and can't answer with words, looks back at building and worries about how little foam he produces - Takumi rationalizes situation desperately, mentally convinces himself that they are safe because Yuuei wouldn't endanger students - Takumi tries to enter building, tunnels on nearest mannequin and doesn't notice anything else - Takumi tries to run over, gets tagged by some debris while trying to foam down some nearby flames - Takumitakes a big deep breath to get more air to produce more foam, doesn't work out well for him or his lungs because burning building - Takumi light headed and heavy wheezing/coughing, he almost stumbles over but leans on register - If Takumi can, he tries to carry or drag the mannequin out the front door, but he can't shoot foam at fires or protect from debris while doing so.

You don't need a dream or even a tomorrow Just live
He was already at the top floor, but there was no escaping the sound that the water crashing down made. What the hell? Ryuusei questioned to himself when he heard the commotion coming from downstairs, this while he was entering the classroom above the kitchen through the top left entrance of the building. The room was as he expected it to be after looking at the ceiling from the kitchen point of view: full of holes, some larger than the others, with the mannequin hanging from the hole furthest from Ryuusei's current position. These holes, however, allowed for Ryuusei to be able to see how the water levels were rising up in the kitchen below him and, with this, made it possible for him to see how the doll perched on top of the cooker was doing. Okay, it could be worse, he concluded while keeping his calm and rational personality in the analysis of the situation. If the water was earlier at the waist level of a person standing on the ground, it would now be - by what Ryuusei could see - around the shoulders or neck level. That was a significant increase and, too make things worse, the current in itself also appeared to have become stronger and faster, which made the entire situation more dangerous, especially in the kitchen with all the loose materials floating there. Despite this, Ryuusei kept his confidence in being able to reach the mannequin that was in the kitchen in time: how he'd get out was another story. This confidence came due to the position in which the makeshift civilian was in: above a cooker - a thing which height is usually around waist level - the increase in water would only be enough to reach the mannequin's knees or, at maximum, its waist (more or less), something that shouldn't create enough pull for it to be dragged by the current and drown. Because of this, Ryuusei knew that he just had to be quick enough to reach downstairs before the water got stronger or its level got higher. But, before he could think about going down, he had to reach the dangling civilian that was holding for dear life in the hole furthest from the window by which Ryuu had come in. He looked ahead at the floor in front of him, taking the whole room into his sight . During a few seconds, he chose the route that seemed the most optimal by taking into account the size of the holes, the distance between them, which ground seemed the most solid and how fast he could get to the mannequin. Well, time to start jumping, he mumbled to himself, as if to say that this was already being to much work. If nothing out of the ordinary happened - like the ground giving out, something unexpected appearing or the water suddenly reaching the top level of the building, for example - Ryuusei wouldn't have that much of a problem maneuvering and jumping around the holes of the room in order to reach the doll. With an agility comparable to that of a fit house cat, Ryuusei was way above decent in moving himself easily and quickly... even if he didn't enjoy doing so. Besides this, the training session he had a few days before with Rinkusu and Yoruhi also proved to be useful in terms of getting used to tough terrain. With this, jumping around the classroom to reach the objective shouldn't be something that hard for a focused Ryuu. It would be when (and if he) reached the final hole - the one the mannequin was clinging to - that the boy would hear Relena's voice. Despite far away, he was able to notice her heavy breath - afterall, Ryuusei was unconsciously able to pick up this type of patterns due to the attention he needed to have in relation to his own breathing. However, not being able to see Relena since she was outside the kitchen window, he just assumed the girl was tired. But, if she was there, it was because she had been successful in rescuing, at least, one civilian. That was good for the mission. And, by her words, the help she could offer now was also extremely important, since it allowed Ryuusei to go straight down instead of jumping back through the holes while carrying the civilian, which would be way harder than what he just did by himself. Holding the mannequin's arm and pulling him up with as much strenght as he could gather, Ryuusei replied loudly for Brave Shine to hear. One minute is more than enough! Do it when I say "now"!The mannequin was in Ryuusei's arms after the boy had pulled him up from the hole he was holding onto. Just like he had done with the previous one, Ryuusei picked him up and placed him on his back, just like giving him a piggy-back ride. Ryuu was now ready to jump down. If the mannequin was alive, the 1-A student would have told him to hold tight... since he wasn't, Ryuusei didn't bother. Now! he yelled as soon as he jumped in the direction of the hole, allowing himself to fall into the kitchen. It was almost perfect. Almost. The almost came from Ryuu not expecting one thing, which was the small size of light that Relena was able to produce. When she said "solid floor" to him only seconds before, the boy was expecting that she would be able to cover the entire area of the kitchen. But, as he was falling and glanced down to his landing spot, he saw that what awaited him below was only a small runway with the width of a regular plank of wood. Shit, was the the only term he could think of. There wasn't much he could do though, since he was already falling and, with weight on his back, adapting in that less than a second moment of falling was impossible. While Ryuusei's right foot landed perfectly on the structure created by Relena - a landing made better and safer by Ryuu flexing his legs, taking less impact on the not-so-tall fall - his left foot... not so much. The structure was too small for what Ryuusei was anticipating and, because of this, his left foot landed at the edge of the runway. This was the foot with metal, the one which had been surgically repaired awhile ago but with which Ryuu still had always to be careful about. Ryuusei immediately felt the strong sprain on the ankle caused by the awkward landing on the edge of the board. He grunted to himself at the exact moment he felt the sharp pain, but held it in in order for Relena to not listen to it. With the mannequin still safe on his back, Ryuusei focused on the mission at hand: stretching his flexed legs, he straightened his posture and stood up in the boardwalk type of thing created with his teammate's Quirk. In front of him he had the cooker and he knew he needed to be quick since he did say that less than one minute would be enough. Fastly walking towards the mannequin in the cooker while carrying the other on his back, Ryuusei was making as much effort as possible to put as little of his weight into his left foot - but of course it wasn't easy. Walking would probably be fine, but running - despite achievable due to his durabilty - would surely hurt like hell and drain him in the log-term... Ryuusei could swear that he was literally feeling the metal screws on his ankle moving everytime he unintentionally put extra weight on it. Arriving near the cooker, he grabbed the mannequin with the cradle cary technique. Fuck, this is heavy... he thought to himself as he turned around and began moving in the direction of the window Relena was outside of. Carrying two human-weight accurate mannequins would always be arduous, but it was even more so with a bad ankle. Ryuusei Igarashi was, still, able to push through due to his decent durability: if nothing outside of their control happened and if Relena could keep her end of the deal by sustaining her structure for one minute, Ryuu would be able to exit the window with the two mannequins. After this he would go straight to the nearby temporary evacuation zone they had both set up, placing carefully the two mannequins next to the two others that were already there. Ryuusei's breathing was now irregular - something problematic in the case he had to use his Quirk - and his left ankle was banged up. Nevertheless, he wanted to thank Relena for the help: even if it wasn't what Ryuusei was expecting, she was the sole reason for their efficiency and quickness in the previous scenario. And at least she was fin- Her arm... he thought as he took a good look at the classmate just before starting to speak. It didn't look broken, but it was visibly in bad shape. A girl with a messed up arm and a boy with a messed up foot: as rescuers that would be a problem. He thought quickly and maintained his compusure. We have to fix that, he simply said. He removed the two front metal canisters out of his belt, taking out the bandages that were inside of them them but, perhaps unexpectedly, keeping a hold of the canisters and not throwing them away. Give me your arm.If Relena didn't protest, Ryuusei would give her a on-the-go first aid. He would look and ask for the area of her arm that looked to be the cause of pain and place each metal canister on each side of her arm. To leave them in place, he would use the bandages, wrapping and tying them as tight as he could around both arm and canisters. The canisters were now acting as splints and the bandages were holding them together in Relena's arm. With this she should be able to move the arm around better without as much higher of a risk of further damaging the limb and actually breaking the bone. After this, Ryuusei would continue focused on their mission - he was just doing his part by looking out for his partner, there wasn't anything special about that. I wasn't able to check out the rooms of the upper right area of the building, there might still be mannequins there. But we should also get these ones moving - he pointed with his head at the mannequins they had already saved - Something might happen if they stay here for too long. Ryuusei looked at the top level of the sunken building. Then at the mannequins they had saved. Then to Relena. Back to the mannequins. He was thinking. At the same time, he was rotating his left ankle to see how it felt like. It's definetely badly sprained..., he thought to himself, hiding the pain from Relena. I'm going to take two of them to the real Evacuation Zone near the harbour now. I think it's the most efficcient option. You go and check the upper right side of the building while keeping an eye on these other two, just to make sure we don't leave anyone behind. He paused, trying to gain some control over his breathing pattern. If there's no one just come back down, grab the other two and make way to the Evacuation Zone. I'll try to be quick to head back and help you. If there's one or more just place them here along with the remaining two and wait for me to come back. You can't carry three or more by yourself and leaving mannequins alone here isn't something we should do. Seems fair? If Relena agreed to the next phase of their plan, Ryuusei would grab two of the mannequins - one with the cradle style and the other with the piggy-back one - and make way to the Evacuation Zone near the water. For his parting words, he said something that wasn't his style, but... seemed appropriate. You're doing great. Let's keep pushing forward. And, just like that, Ryuusei Igarashi would start running as fast as he could... and no matter how much it hurt. --

Hearing footsteps approaching close meant she had caught someone in her little rouse. She thought she could make out who's voice it was, it sounded quite familiar but she couldn't pinpoint who it was just yet. Best thing for her to do is to keep moving in the shadows, stringing the other team along so that the blue team could win. Chise looked around at the broken down and abandoned buildings and felt it would be best to lead the unaware red team member there and away from their objective. She found one that seemed to be a fair distance away from where she parted from her team and hopefully the other team's first building, making her way into the rubble filled building. If she were a trapped civilian, just where would she be? Considering all the rubble, it would make sense to have them caught underneath it, that way she herself wouldn't have to get under the rubble and could be ready to fight in case the need should arise. She just had to throw her voice and make it seem like she was 'trapped under the rubble'. The first floor also had bits and pieces of random objects from scattered papers to bits of broken furniture, to even small things like ripped up clothing. Could she use the clothing as a decoy? With some time to spare, Chise found a ripped up pair of pants and a right shoe missing it's pair that might be useful in creating the 'trapped civilian' dummy. Most of the rubble was mostly broken glass, cement, large pieces of metal, and other things mixed in, although she did find a bit of insulation hidden just under a large rock. Stuffing the insulation into the pants, she tried positioning the 'civilian' in a way that made it seem like his legs were crushed, shoving the pants deep into the debris with only part of the leg sticking out, tossing the shoe not too far from the pile. Chise took a step back and examined the quick work she did, hopefully it was convincing enough to play the part of her civilian alongside her voice.
Chise took a quick peak up on the second floor, finding an unstable looking floor about ready to cave in if any pressure were applied to it, perhaps it would be best to stick to somewhere on the spacious first floor instead of ricking falling from the second floor onto the pile of rubble below. Chise descended back downstairs and hid in one of the back rooms close to a large pile of rubble and debris. Now to throw her voice and make it seem like she was trapped underneath. "Help! Please! I-It's getting...h-harder for me to breathe! I'm trapped! Please hurry!" she cried out in Aiden's voice like she had before. Now she just had to wait behind the scenes to see if her plan would work. She wondered how Aiden and Takumi were doing, hopefully giving them enough time to rescue the mannequins in their assigned building.

Red Team:
Julia remained perched on the roof as Momoko ventured down to search.
“Okay, I’ll get it!” she called when Momoko reported the mannequin she found on the fourth floor. And so she crept down, eyes sweeping her surroundings warily for potential traps. Finally she spotted the mannequin and crouched low, her unusual spring-shaped arms extending so that they were able to retrieve the mannequin from a distance. She was somewhat clumsy at it, but she managed to get it onto her back without dropping it.
This done, she crept back towards the hole. Her legs bounced into life and propelled her back through the hole, allowing her to deposit the mannequin safely on the roof.
And then the part of the roof she was stood on crumbled.
Julia barely had chance to let out a piercing cry as she plunged downwards and landed directly on one of the barrels hidden among the rubble. The barrel exploded in a putrid green cloud. Julia rolled over, clawing desperately at her blazing skin, her eyes so full of tears she could hardly see at all.
“H-help me!” she exclaimed. "Augh, it burns!"
-Julia successfully retrieves the fourth floor mannequin Momoko found. She leaves it on the roof. -Unfortunately, she then falls and lands on one of the hidden barrels which has released its chemicals all over her. She is now suffering from the effects. -The mannequin remains safe on the roof, however.

Haruuhi and Yoruhi’s situation remains the same.

Ryuusei and Relena’s situation remains the same.

Aiden was a completely different person from the stern, aggressive young man he had been before. Now his skin was paler than the moon itself and he looked on the verge of vomiting.
He simply stood there, paralysed with fear, at least until Takumi found it within himself to enter the burning building. Enough of the Canadian’s pride remained to tell him he could not be outdone by the Japanese student. With shaky steps, he followed after Takumi.
The heat hit him so hard it almost bowled him over. He coughed and hacked as smoke irritated his lungs and his eyes watered. This was hell. Beyond hell, even. What kind of sadist had put them up to this?
He only broke out of his terrified trance when he saw Takumi struck by falling debris. Damn it, if Takumi got taken out and left him to deal with this madness alone then he was really screwed. He rushed over to Takumi’s side and activated his Quirk, using his control over magnetism to gather up the scrap metal around them into a makeshift shield that hung above.
Thanks to this shield, Takumi was successful in removing the first mannequin from the building without either of them being struck by more debris.
The moment they were out, Aiden promptly dropped to his knees and clutched his head in a very dramatic fashion. It was quite obvious he wanted to be literally anywhere else. “Why the hell would they do this to us? We could die in there! Don’t they care about that?” He shook his head. “I – I can’t do this! I want to go home!”
-Aiden is terrified. -Even so, he manages to help Takumi successfully retrieve the mannequin by creating a shield out of scrap metal. -He is now freaking out and doesn't want to continue, however.

Post by Farrah di Prima on Mar 30, 2019 22:19:23 GMT -4
With no further interruptions and far less exposure to caustic, itchy chemicals than her teammate was about to experience, the fledgling hero, Pop Poet, managed to heroically finish pulling pieces of collapsed roof off of one of the mannequins. Nobody had responded to her call for help, which indicated that likely, the only other people inside the building were her own teammates. Radio chatter indicated that Momoka and Julia were splitting up to move faster, but a moment later Momoko's dejected sigh came, followed by a much louder and more urgent cry from Julia. Farrah shuddered, hearing other sounds that indicated her allies who had gone to the other building were meeting hardships as well.
Even as Farrah finished pulling her mannequin from under the rubble and held it underneath one arm, she felt panicked and useless. "I've rescued the dummy, but is that really the right way? Helping a fake civilian instead of a real student- is that actually okay?!" she thought to herself, clenching her teeth. From the sound of Julia's wailing, it seemed like the girl had ended up dipping much more than one foot into the caustic goo that currently seeped from the ceiling and walls around Farrah. The issue, of course, was that Julia had really been the one most fit to help herself... Farrah had no way to get to the top floor, with no springing ability and acknowledging that at least one floor was flooded. Momoka was, at least to Farrah's thinking, so small that there was little chance she'd be able to drag a full-sized human free of danger.
As Farrah contemplated this, she carried the dummy arm-in arm, heading for the same entrance where she came in. She'd be faster without it, but any hero who would leave a civilian inside a building collapse in progress was really no hero at all. Still, maybe Momoka could see an opportunity to help Julia where Farrah couldn't. "Momo! I am headed outside with my rescue! But to Julia's plight, I don't have the best view. Do you have a way that I can ascend there, and from the upper floors, services render?" Her voice was still raspy, sounding different from her sing-song; she couldn't blow a noisy bubble right now if she tried.
By this point, Farrah had made it back outside with her mannequin, but the situation was grave. Julia was in trouble and if Momoka couldn't rescue her or didn't have a way for Farrah to get up to help, she was worse than out of action for this event. Worse, she had no idea what was happening on the second floor; it was possible a whole family of mannequins was neck-deep in slime by this point. Even if Momoka had no ideas how to help, Pop Poet was determined to at least help the second problem. She'd set her mannequin down a safe distance from the building, then began to find a place where she could scale the cracked walls and peek into the second floor. Maybe Momoka would even have a way to help her finish climbing from floor 2 up to the top story where she could help Julia.
----------------------------------
((WC 531))
-Farrah digs up the 1st floor mannequin and carries him back out the way she came. -Farrah asks Momoka if there's some way for her to get upstairs and help Julia, or if Momoka can do it herself. -Farrah sets her dummy down away from the building then begins climbing slowly up the cracked walls to gain height, either to work on floor 2 or perhaps to assist if Momoka has directions.

I see you through the flood See you through the fire See you through the storms-a-raging
❧ “I wouldn’t abandon someone who is in danger just because they play the part of a villain in a friggin’ simulation.” He growled as an answer to Haruuhi into the mic of the earpiece before turning it off so the rest of his voice would not be heard.
This was ridiculous. This was the problem with simulated scenarios. People liked to play their roles too well and often forgot there were real people and then there were dummies around. They should just learn to make a difference instead of following the rules so well. Yoruhi, quite honestly, saw no harm in checking whether the distress voice was real or a fake one. And he had a rather easy and sure-fire way to see if the problem is real or if he was led astray.
When yelling toward the voice he heard no answer right away. Following toward where he originally heard it from, he moved as quick as possible to either find the injured person sooner, or catch up with whoever that was messing with him. It was either or, really, but if there was a chance someone was in danger, he just could not let them go.
But when he finally heard the voice again coming from a ruined building, he stopped in his tracks right away. It was not coming from the same way as before. The first time he heard it, it was much closer, and now it was further away. No matter how he looked at it, that was impossible. Yoruhi was not the most intellectual one out there, but he had more street smart than people gave credit him for. Now he was sure this distraction was just that – a distraction. For one, the voice moved away, which was impossible if the person was trapped, as they told. Then, whoever this was, they were either faster than Yoruhi, or able to sneak around without being noticed. But that already made it obvious this person was not, indeed, trapped under rubble. They made a mistake, and Yoruhi could see through that.
“Good try.” He called out, hoping whoever this was, was able to hear him. “But not good enough.” And with that, he turned back to the building he was supposed to rescue stupid motionless humanoid dummies from.
Man, this was ridiculous.
On his way back, he was going as fast as he could, and he thanked his training until now and his inner fuel system that he didn’t get winded from the constant running around. With his flame crown lit, he was determined to now focus on the task at hand. And then sarcastically congratulate whoever it was that managed to lure him away from the simulation itself. He could see Radiotower jump down from the hole in the second story wall of the abandoned hospital building. He paid her no mind, as by now, it was obvious she could take care of herself without any help. Instead, he headed for the fire escape to check the building from top down.
With his mobility, getting up was not at all hard. Even if there was no ladder, he would have managed to grab any ledges or cracks to hurl himself up with just a bit more trouble. The top was, just like the rest of the building, partially tilted, which made walking through it that much more annoying. But Yoru just huffed, and made his way toward the door that would lead to the staircase. He would check the third floor, as Haruuhi seemed to follow his suggestion in checking the mid floor in the end. As he was desperate to make up for the precious time he lost, he was careless enough not to check for cracked and uneven footing on the floor. Tremor shook the building violently, and the floor opened up under him with a loud rumble, tripping him in his run.
He fell, and then---
CRACK
Air was knocked out of him as he landed on his right shoulder. The one that remained weak as a cruel reminder that a classmate went mad enough to pierce him through with an ice shard.
Once he was able to breath, he swore.
Harshly.
And then curled in on himself, pushing a hand, then the whole of his lower arm against his shoulder to ease the pain and hold it in place. His right arm was being pierced by tiny needles right down to his fingertips. Shivers ran through his body as he tried to will himself back to the present, eyes shut tight to chase away the stars that occupied his vision.
Okay, that was lame, even he admitted that. Realizing that his flame crown died out made it worse.
He groaned, rolling on his stomach and then pushing himself into a kneeling position, not removing his hold from his shoulder for a moment. Tiny cuts littered one side of his face, his legs and hip hurt where the rubble poked into his body uncomfortably. He could expect to have blue, green and purple bruises all over just from this one fall. Looking above him, he could see the hole he just fell through, and that its edges already threatened to crumble further. As the building rumbled again, Yoru reacted upon pure instinct to leap away from under the hole and further into the room he fell in just as more debris hit the floor right where he just knelt moments ago. His leap was un-elegant and hasty, and he slid against the wall on his uninjured side.
Just. Wonderful.
Groaning again, he stood up and tested the movements of his right arm. Flexing fingers, pain. Moving wrist, pain. Elbow, pain. Shoulde--- JUST NOPE. Taking a deep breath, he let his right arm hang at his side, moving it as little as possible while he looked around in the room. Abandoned hospital beds and cabinets were thrown around the room, visibly rattled and rearranged by the tremors. No civilian in sight. Even more debris covered the hallway, and one wheelchair was knocked on its side over at the other end. It was the third hospital room that had the unmoving doll in it, and as soon as he stepped through its door, another violent tremor shook the building. The medicine cabinet standing near a wall was knocked down with a harsh tingle of crashes, sending glass shards and wooden splinters everywhere. Yoru pushed his back against the wall to stay on his foot, and covered his face with his left arm to cover himself from more possible debris. The dummy was just across the room, ready to fall off the bed and onto the glass-covered floor.
Yoru took a deep breath and activated his quirk. The majestic orange flame crown lit up, and both his arms were covered in the same fire. His whole right arm burned. Pushing himself away from the wall he ran across the room with big leaps, helping his maneuvers with sudden bursts from his flames. He kept his fire harmless, heat as low as it possibly could go, so nothing, not even the highly flammable objects would catch on fire. He landed near the dummy just when another tremor caused bits of the ceiling to fall. Snuffling out his fire but keeping his flame crown lit, he threw himself on the bed on top of the dummy just moments before he could feel chunks of the plaster hit his back. Compared to the concrete he landed on, this should have been nothing, but considering his shoulder already hurt, he had to grit his teeth while he waited for the rumble to ease. Once he considered it relatively safe to move around, he stood up, pulled the doll on his left shoulder, and headed for the staircase.
He considered his options. Gong to the lower floor and then outside would be the logical solution. But he had no idea what state the rest of the floors were in currently, not to mention if the door could be opened at all or not. As illogical as it seemed, he chose to go up to the roof instead. The door to the staircase was already opened, as unknown to him, Haruuhi had used the same door to enter the building before him. He pulled his leg just a little bit, but mostly to ease the shaking that caused friggin daggers to be pushed into his shoulder.
Once at the edge of the roof, he halted, staring down at the fire escape. He closed his eyes for a moment, then moved his right arm yet again. Pain. Yep. That didn’t change. With a deep breath, he hoisted the dummy on his right shoulder instead of his left, cursing as numbing pain resonated through it when he grabbed the stiff legs of the doll. He was seeing stars, but still, he grabbed onto the ladder with his left to climb down on its outer side. This was his only solution. There was no way his right would be able to hold his weight up and be able to move well enough for a climb.
He was almost at solid ground level when the ladder in his hand shook and gave way under him, making him fall down. Again.
He angled his body and pulled the mannequin into his arms above him as he landed on his back with the doll on top, a loud grunt and another swear audible. He took a moment just laying there and being miserable, because really, he should deserve at least that much. He absently petted the head of the dummy in his arms. “Well, this sucks for the both of us.” He said, then dragged himself to his feet and pulled the doll on his shoulder to head for the extraction point.

Haruuhi hadn't noticed at first when Yoruhi shut off the mic to their earpiece. She did find it weird that he wasn't responding to her, but after she'd been so short with him and vice versa she just assumed he was mad at her... This was going to cost them points wasn't it... they were supposed to be working together to save civilians! Instead Yoruhi was off chasing voices! It was clearly a trap but he seemed to take offense to her saying so. She grumbled under her breath, her voice still being transmitted through the earpiece as she went into the building.
Fast forward through a very very shaky rescue, Haruuhi was leaping out of the building with two civilian dummies in tow. She landed on the mattress she had tossed out and couldn't help the gasp that escaped her lips whenever the air left her lungs. Sure it cushioned her fall but the mattress wasn't THAT thick!
"ow ow ow... fuck my wrist..." The girl whined now as she pushed herself up to a seated position, pushing herself up to her feet as she tucked one civilian dummy under both arms and began to make her way towards the extraction point. As she left, she sent out a radio message to Yoruhi, telling him that she was headed that way, she was greeted with silence however until she managed to spot him heading with his own civilian towards the same point. She gave him a light pout and a dissaproving glance before sighing heavily as the two set their civilians down in the safe zone.
"Look I'm sorry... I didn't mean that to sound as harsh as-" She began to murmur, her now free right hand holding tightly to her left wrist. Her words were promptly interrupted however as the sound of a loud explosion rang through their ear pieces, causing Haruuhi to wince and immediately let go of the wrist to bring both hands to her helmet.
"Who is that!?" She immediately asked into the mic as she heard one of the girls shrieking for help. Haruuhi's eyes grew wide as she looked to Yoruhi in a panic. One of their own was actually hurt, and they were too far away to do anything about it! That voice had an accent to it, and so she was able to pin it to their English addition Julia...
"I don't care if we lose points for this! Find out where that blast came from and make sure Slinkee is okay!" She wanted to yell at them to abandon the dummies, but the words civilians kept springing to mind, and she couldn't rightfully ask them to abandon civilians. Yes this was a simulation, but if there was an explosion... then that was part of the simulation too right? They had to be able to make that split second decision.
"Place the civilian dummies outside the building. Flame Lord and I are on our way back, we will take care of the civillians. Your new top priority should be finding Slinkee and making sure she gets the help she needs!" She called out as if she had any authority to order the other girls around. With her quirk, she always felt like she had control of the battle field, like every move people made relied on her knowing what was out there... so in a way, she always felt like the leader and instinctively ordered the others around like she was.
With that said, RadioTower would look over to Flame Lord and only give him a brief moment to answer what had just transpired on their earpieces before promptly darting off towards their location. She was quite a bit slower this time, the exhaustion of the event and the constant use of her quirk making things really hard to focus all of a sudden....
wc: 671 - brought 2 civvies to save point - has wrist and back ouchies - ordered Farrah and Momoko to find Julia and leave the civvies outside for her and yoruhi to save. - ran as fast as the wind to make it back there.

Post by Mozuku Momoko on Apr 6, 2019 13:20:34 GMT -4
[Due to time constraints and my inability to keep with schedule, here's the summary of Momoko's actions. There'll be a post in here in near future, but you are free to proceed with the posting order. It has nothing that involves the next few posters anyway.]
Momoko's contemplation on trying to see a safe path amidst the flood was violently interrupted when the sound of an explosion blasted from both upstairs and from directly behind her. In her state of panic she made the first leap onto a pile of rubble amidst the flooded floor before turning around to see... nothing. For a brief moment she just laid on the rubble, breathing heavily and frantically trying to understand what had just happened. She heard more noises from behind her, realizing that it was the receiver. Voices of Slinkee shouting for help and Radiotower asking what had happened. While Momoko didn't realize to put it into words at the time, she did understand what must have happened: yet another volatile reaction from those chemicals.
The small girl turned around immediately, jumping back on the staircase before making a much bigger jump onto the railing. It was slippery, and Momoko had to use her hands as support to not fall off from the initial landing, but after finding her grip she started to sprint back towards the fourth floor. The receiver came back to life as Momoko was making her way up the railing, telling her to find Slinkee. Thankfully for them, she was already on it. "Onitonitonit!" sounded her haphazard response to Radiotower as she did a small jump, skipping the sharp turn on the railing by continuing straight on the one going further above the stairs. It was hard to overstate how worried she was. She could only hope that the hole on the roof hadn't truly been caused by something similar to this more immediate one.
The main area of fourth floor was vacated by an incredibly unfriendly-looking cloud of gas, from amidst of which Momoko could hear Slinkee's voice. It didn't seem to be spreading, but she couldn't just sprint in there without a plan. And right at this moment, she didn't really have one either, so she just stayed still and panicked. All of the initial reassuring that Momoko had done before arriving to the course was systematically starting to fall apart. Her hands didn't know what to do, flailing around uselessly as the girl kept looking around as if there was a solution just lying around on the floor. Her costume wasn't designed for poison gas, it would have required too much specialization when it came to specs. But she didn't really have anything to clear the gas with either. She might have been able to move Slinkee around, but the source of gas explosion was still a mystery, so it wasn't safe. This was until Momoko spotted a solution just lying around the floor.
"...Slinkee and I are on the fourth floor! The third floor is flooded with some toxic sludge!" Momoko dashed off, jumping amidst the rubble to one of the office rooms to find what she had spotted: a desk fan. She started to pry the casing open with the help of her needle. "There's gas here, but I think I can clear it! I'll take her to one of the east side windows, so arrange something there!" It was the same window they had saved the mannequin from. Since Slinkee had managed to get there without anything bad happening, it seemed like a safe bet, all thing's considered. The plastic case plopped open, revealing the inner machinations of the fan. From a quick survey it seemed to still be functioning. It still wasn't exactly safe to operate on without proper tools or gloves, but Momoko was in a hurry and out of options. And thankfully the tuning that was required wasn't complicated; Momoko only had to give the power settings a tweak.
After a moment of tinkering and another of finding a electric plug among the rubble, Momoko approached the gassed area, carrying the opened-up fan awkwardly upon her shoulders. The girl would plant it down in the rubble, pointed straight towards the gassed area, before turning the power on. The fan rumbled as it came to life, blowing tuned-up wind in the direction of the gas cloud, causing it to move around. It obviously wouldn't just vanish (though some might float away through the roof hole), but it would be pushed away from where Slinkee was. The area started to clear up, and Momoko could finally see Slinkee. The rubble had shifted about in her vicinity, revealing some of the barrels that had been left hidden mere moments ago. She looked in pain, and Momoko felt anxiety raising as she had to wait even after seeing her until the air around the area would clear up more. The fan, that had valiantly been spinning beyond its normal spinning speed, sparked and shut down. Momoko patted its side before rushing to the foreigner's aid after what had felt like forever.
If Slinkee could move, or even crawl a little, Momoko would assist her to move over near the window she had rescued the mannequin from. If she could not, the same applied, except that Momoko would have to do the heavy lifting. By using her wire, she would tie it around herself and one of Slinkee's limbs. After this she would, quite simply, tap into every ounce of strength at her disposal and start dragging the foreigner herself to the window's direction. It would be in small bursts and incredibly exhausting, but Momoko had the strength to do so.
WC 901
Summary: - Panicking about the explosion, before making the connection and running back upstairs to find Slinkee. - Finding Slinkee and noticing some of the barrels that have been revealed due to the explosion. - Making the conclusion that since she managed to make her way to the window, that path is probably safe, and informs others that they should prepare something for that side of the building. Mentions that the third floor is flooded. - Modification of a desk fan that was lying around in order to amp up the power (and fry it after its usage due to this) in order to clear the air around the area. - This is followed by wrapping the wire around both herself and one of Slinkee's limbs, and using it with her mostly ignored strength reserves to slowly drag her to the window.

❝You're showing me colours of the sky, But all I see is Grey❞ 513 w. Rescue course kenjutsu-f | reinforcement-f | radiant dawn-e Relena gave a swift thumbs up to Ryuusei to indicate that she understood. He had done a fantastic job in balancing on the beam while grabbing both of the mannequins! The girl looked down at the splint he had applied to her arm and smiled warmly. He was counting on her and Relena would not let him down. Especially after he had said such encouraging words to her! There was no way that they would fail this mission!
She sprinted back into the school and waded through the central hallway, biting her teeth as her legs tightened up from the water. As soon as she made it to the stairs and out of the murkiness, Relena rounded her way up and investigated the right side section of the school. A quick scan of the empty room revealed that there were no more mannequins to be saved, which set her heart at ease. Although it may have seemed, to her it was all too important to never leave an enemy stronghold intact. Much like a dungeon rpg, every room needed to be explored for loot and this rescue mission was no exception!
Relena threw herself into the room with the holes and pulled further on her quirk once again. Having been outside for an extended period, her battery had been refilled so she was good to go! The girl cast a runway similar to the one she made for Ryuusei straight for the window. Without stopping, the blonde threw herself straight out into the open air and flung her arm out to summon forth a slide made of light and landed on it with her back. It curved sharply down to the ground floor, leaving the girl to arc the light upward at a near 90 degree angle.
She flew into the air just above the ground from her momentum to tilt her body so that she landed heavily on her feet in front of the elementary school. There was a tingle in her feet from the slight pain of the impact, but Relena ignored it as she approached the two mannequins. In similar style to Ryuusei, the girl put a victim on her back and tied their hands carefully with a thick binding of light while lifting the other to cradle in her arms.
"Hey, ya ready to blow this popsicle stand? 'Cause here we gooooo!"
Relena grinned happily the entire time as she sprinted in the direction of the extraction zone. It was most likely that Ryuusei had already arrived at the point and was probably waiting on her. She was just glad that there were no casualties as of yet...though she wondered how the rest of them were doing.
Looking down at her splint, she frowned. Yes, the two of them had been quite efficient in their plan to split up, but she wondered if the rest of Blue team was holding up as well as Ryuusei and Relena. And, for that matter, was Red team okay? She hated seeing anyone get hurt and began to become quite concerned as she neared the designated extraction zone.
-Relena is glad that Ryuusei showed care for her -Goes into the school one more time -Realizes that the right side is just an empty room -Makes a board of light to run out the window of the hole room on left side -Creates a slide to descend the school faster -Copies Ryuusei's method of picking up the mannequins -As she runs to the extraction point, Relena grows worried for the others

Takumi seemed to be at a loss for words when Aiden couldn't believe the sight of the supermarket turned inferno, barely mustering up the means to simply shout out that the situation didn't matter and that they needed to get to work on saving those mannequins. The fact that the Canadian boy had instantaneously turned into a shell of cowardice went unnoticed by Takumi once he made up his own mind to brave the storm and venture inside, mostly due to his own stress and apprehension over what they were facing now. The sweltering heat would hit Takumi right from the get go, and the terrifying sight he was met with, along with the horrible fumes caused by the raging embers, would only make everything that much tougher. With both his physical toughness and mental fortitude tested, Takumi was lucky enough to somehow make it to the first mannequin and eventually get it outside, and even luckier that his actions somehow rekindled the tough guy attitude of Aiden and spurred him back into action.
Once the mannequin was outside, Takumi would break out into even heavier hacking and heaving than before, his lungs working extra hard to purge all that nasty byproduct of the burning building as best they could. As he slowed down his coughing and focused on breathing in air that wouldn't kill him, Takumi could hear the whining of his foreign comrade but wouldn't pay it any mind at first, electing to drag the mannequin across the street and lean it safely on a not-burning building before hustling back over. They needed to save the rest of the "victims" but that didn't mean that could just leave the first one sitting right at the entrance of the burning building and still be in risk of danger.
On his way back to the burning building, Takumi would run right up to Aiden and crouch down in front of him into a squat while facing the distraught boy so that proper eye contact could be established. Hey... HEY! Takumi reached out his arm and placed his palm on Aiden's shoulder while trying to get his attention; he thought that establishing some physical contact might be helpful in calming the boy's nerves while speaking to him. We got this... Let's just go in and bee line right for the next mannequin and rush it right back out. You can still make that shield again to stop things from falling on us? That's all you need to do. If we take a quick peek and see where to go next, just make an umbrella and we can be in and out real quick!
His face was serious and concerned but still showed certainty in what he was saying, but as he wrapped up his words the expression on Takumi's face shifted to a more optimistic smile with wider eyes while his palm lifted from Aiden's shoulder and then smacked back onto the muscle, as a means to help snap the boy's mind back into the game.
Takumi sprang right back up to his feet and ran to the front entrance, hoping that Aiden would be ready to follow suit but not willing to stop if he ended up needing to go in for the second time completely solo. He would pull the door open and glance inside without actually entering the building. Takumi's eyes would be drawn to the mannequin sitting atop the shelves in the upper left corner and he decided that was where his next destination would be.
Let's go!
Takumi would take in a deep breath while still outside after shouting for Aiden to come along, then run in with the last big lungful of clean air before he thought it would be best to hold his breath. He headed right for the aforementioned mannequin, keeping his arm over his head if Aiden wasn't tagging along with a single arm pointed out at nearby flames and spraying foam when he could as he approached the dummy. If Aiden came along and provided an umbrella then Takumi would dedicate both hands to spraying foam and extinguishing smaller flames, even if it was a futile task.
Regardless of how much foam he was spraying, Takumi's quirk required oxygen to function and by the time he reached the mannequin, the running, the adrenaline, and the foam spraying had all depleted that wonderful deep inhale he made prior to running into danger. Not wanting to repeat the same mistake, Takumi crouched down quickly to get as deeply beneath the smokey fumes as possible and pulled the neckline of his shirt up over his mouth and nose like a medical mask before trying to take in another breath. It wasn't the best, and the incredible heat could still be felt by the burning discomfort as he breathed in, as well as the heat simply hitting him as he entered the supermarket turned oven, but hopefully it was enough to allow Takumi the energy to jump back up and make an attempt for the mannequin.
Takumi would try to jump up from his crouched inhale and grab some shelves where his hands reached up while planting his feet on the lower ones he might have cleared, pushing and pulling himself upward. If Takumi could reach the mannequin at the top, he would try to pull it down and catch it, most likely stumbling when he hit the ground and falling onto his ass.
If Takumi couldn't reach or otherwise pull the mannequin down, then he would turn to Aiden, whom was hopefully with him at this point, for help, or simply panic and look around for something he could pull over and climb on like a chair to help reach the top where the mannequin was sitting. If Takumi was successful, then he would try to bring it right back out of the building through the main entrance just like last time, carrying it with an arm bent over his back and shoulders to help alleviate and distribute the weight if it was a heavy material. Hopefully Takumi would be able to bring this mannequin to safety outside the building, and hopefully this could be done with the help of Aiden, but Takumi could only hope these things could happen without any devastating interruptions or obstacles at this point.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Takumi is able to get mannequin out of building with Aiden's help, immediately starts hacking out and coughing. - Takumi brings mannequin across street and leans it on non-burning building before coming back to main area. - Takumi tries to reassure Aiden and get his confidence back, then gives a short plan to move forward with. - Takumi peeks inside, spots third mannequin (sitting on shelves), then takes in a huge breath before going inside. - Goes inside, hopefully Aiden is with Takumi and makes a shield but Takumi can cover his head somewhat with his arm, uses other arm to spray foam. - Takumi gets to mannequin and needs to breath, tries to crouch down and inhales from inside shirt before reaching for mannequin. - Takumi either gets mannequin down or needs help from Aiden or looks for a chair/table to pull over (up to narrator discretion obviously). - If Takumi can get mannequin down, he tries to bring it back outside.

You don't need a dream or even a tomorrow Just live
The parting and - for the one's who knew him - odd words of Ryuusei Igarashi to Relena Tsuruya came after the girl gave him a small thumbs up, a visual queue that signified her agreement with the plan he had layed out for both of them to follow in the short term. While the classmate he had named as Brave Shine ran back to the flooded building, Susanoo' was jogging towards the nearest Evacuation Point. With two mannequin-civilians on him - one on his back and other on his arms, two carries that were taught at Yuuei Academy - the 1-A Vice-President was moving as fast as he could. His left ankle was bothering him after that previous bad landing and, now that he wasn't with Relena, he didn't have to worry about hiding his expression in order to not worry the girl - something that, in Ryuu's head, could have her blame herself, which could consequently lead to lower confidence levels which would surely impact the mission's percentage of success. Ryuusei didn't care that much about the event and just wanted to do good at this Rescue Rumble to not have to hear Yoruhi's teasing afterwards, but even so his cold, rational (and gamer) mentality showed: if you start a game, you go for the win; if you don't win, you make sure you have no actions to regret. As he kept moving at a decent pace, the feeling of the sprained ankle was starting to normalize: a mixture of Ryuusei's durability and the adrenaline induced by the situation. It was still bothering him and, in certain scenarios, could certainly damage Ryuusei's mobility, but the pain and feeling of unease was something that he was now sure to be able to handle when not carrying the weight of mannequins. To somewhat of a surprise to himself, Ryuusei reached the Evacuation Point between Areas A and C without any problem, without having to deal with anyone or without seeing another person near him or where he was. With carefulness, he placed the two dummies on the area and, by doing so, secured their safety: two literal weights were now off him, something that his body and somewhat heavy breathing would surely appreciate... But it wasn't time to stop. Back to Relena, he took mental note before starting to run once more, this time in the direction from where he had just came from. He was really, really hoping the the girl didn't find any problems and, at the same time, that she hadn't found any more mannequins in the building. More dummies meant more weight and more weight meant that, slowly but surely, fatigue would start to accumulate in both of them. It was because of this that he was relieved when, almost halfway on his path of return to Area A, he saw the small blonde girl running in his direction with only two "civilians" on her: such thing meant that everything was going smoothly. Perhaps too smoothly... he couldn't help but raise suspicion at how well everything was going, even if taking into account both his and Relena's small injuries. I see that everything went well on your side - he said to his Blue Team partner as he stopped in front of her - Let me help you out with one of them.Dividing the workload, Ryuu grabbed the mannequin Relena was holding on her arms - something that, due to her injury, he imagined was surely bothering her at least a bit - and placed him on his back, just like he had already done with previous mannequins. Let's go, he announced for them to proceed to the Evacuation Point. If everything continued to go well, they'd both arrive at the Evacuation Point where Ryuusei had just been a few minutes ago. If this was case - and after placing the two mannequins on the Zone - the partnership of Ryuusei and Relena would now have been, according to their knowledge, successful in rescuing all dummies that were placed on Area A. With their part of the job done, Ryuusei would turn to Brave Shine and ask if they should continue following the plan that Blue Team had set out in the beginning. We should move to Area D and help the others. Are you fine?If Relena confirmed that she was okay to keep moving and if nothing else happened, Ryuusei would start to move up in the direction of Area D, starting to follow the main road that connected both Evacuation Points and hoping that Relena would go alongside him. --

1) Reached the Evacuation Point and safely dropped there the two mannequins he was carrying; 2) Ran back to help Relena; 3) Meets a running Relena almost halfway on his path back. Grabs one of the two mannequins she was carrying before they move together to the Evacuation Point; 4) If everything goes okay and if Relena goes with him, they should arrive at the Evacuation Point (in Ryuu's case, for a second time) and drop the final two mannequins there, confirming the safety of all the dummies that were on Area A; 5) Asks Relena if she's fine and waits for her approval before advancing to Area D, place he assumes the rest of Blue Team is still at. 6) If they start moving, Ryuusei would choose to go through the main road (the one in the middle of the map, connecting both Evacuation Points and that has an intersection that leads to both Area D and B)

Just as Chise thought she had tricked the other team, it seemed her makeshift dummy had the opposite effect, leading the other team away. "Tch" Chise said, glaring out at the dummy, hearing the faint sound of footsteps leaving the area. Chise came out from her hiding spot and pulled the dummy from it's loose confines. "Stupid dummy," she said in Aiden's voice with a pout, tossing the dummy to the side. With her plan ruined, all that was left for her to do was check back in on her teammates. She hoped they were alright just being the two of them. Of course they would be, no one needs a support studies student on their team. Was it even worth it to go back and find them? Would they already have the job done and have saved the mannequins in their zone? Chise stared down at the pile of rubble for a moment, contemplating if she was even needed for the rest of the exercise. She could walk away right now and no one would notice. Moments like these brought Chise back to the lowest of lows. Chise took a seat on one of the larger rocks in the room, contemplating her decisions. If she went back, would she only get in the way? Chise stood up and shook her head, regardless of if they wanted her there or not, she had to make an effort to save the 'civilians' she was a hero after all, weak quirk or not. Chise ran out of the building she was currently in and retraced her steps to find the area where Aiden and Takumi were.
Not too long from when she left, Chise came across the burning supermarket, her body freezing for a moment as she stared at the burning ash and flames rising from the building. She couldn't hesitate, she had to act. It was now or never. "Aiden! Takumi! Are you alright?! Please answer me if you can!" Chise called, doing her best to maneuver her way inside without getting burnt or getting hit by falling bits of building. She stayed closer to the entrance in case they needed some sort of escape, waiting to hear to see if her teammates were alright.
