Think it'll work? It'd take a miracle. THANK GOD FOR CHIMERA'S SUPER-HEARING. Charlie quietly prepared herself as Chimera listened, strategizing about the best route from their current location. She wasn't even aware he'd been looking her way until he remarked about the bombs, and she gave a soft "Ha!" in response.
"What can I say, they're effective," Charlotte said simply. She'd had your standard amount of interest in explosives as a child, and being around people who knew how to make them only made it worse. Charlotte balanced a few cherry bombs in the palm of her hand, rotating them pensively as the two walked.
Chimera took the front, using his nose and ears to assess new challenges to arise-- Charlie watched behind them, her sharp eyes cutting through the gloom without issue. She could barely hear the din outside.
Her accomplice's announcement snagged her attention. Gunpowder?
"Outrun a bullet," she repeated, skeptical. But what choice did they have? The prawn took no issue with using an explosive, given how loud it already was-- but using an explosive when one could already smell another explosive was just a recipe for lost limbs.
"I'll stand over here," the prawn insisted, backing a few steps. Her heart was hammering into her throat again-- and briefly Charlotte caught herself wondering how her shell compared to Chimera's armor. But he was already grabbing the handle before she could protest.
The prawn turned sideways, her palms pressed flat against her ear-holes and eyes shut tight. The cannon blast that was tripped by the opening door rocked the hallway and sent Chimera scrabbling back. Charlotte winced, out of sympathy and at the noise.
"Chiiiiim," Charlotte complained in a high, distressed tone. She thought he was going to try and dodge, not take the thing head-on! Or else she would've never agreed to it. They could've just as easily crouched and opened the door.
"Break any ribs? Or uh… other bones?"
Once she was sure there were no injuries that immediately warranted concern, the prawn would agree, "Hh… alright. Let's keep going."
The two continued walking, stepping around the still-smoking cannon. On the one hand, the prawn really wanted the cannonball. On the other, it was unwieldy and impractical to carry. Charlotte took the point position, her eyes sweeping the hall ahead, trying to keep her breath steady.
"How did the earbuds work-out?" the inquiry came belatedly, quietly and lined with noticeable anticipation. A cannon was a very loud noise in an enclosed space. So… it was a very good field-test.
Besides, if Chimera wanted to keep the earbuds, it'd be good to get a sense of sound levels.

RISAKA REINACHTSecond Year U.A / Miss Gray
''Everyday I ask myself if I even should bother'' words • tagged @ • notes | For one moment it was practically pure silence in the courtyard, with the few distant noises going on across the castle, a lot of action happened on the roof didn't it? But there was no way all of the Adler students just straight up went to the roof. But since there was no one to oppose the colour painted girl she thought to seek the King's room to get this match over with, surely it couldn't be that well hidden, a simple room was it? But the second she lowers her guard to venture forward across the yard to the door located north she caught the glimpse of something shifting behind her.
She didn't had appropiate time to move her body around to catch them red handed, instead being surprised by the ranged attack with pebbles being fired at her location. Instinctively she flexed her right arm up to cover her side, absorbing a direct hit from one of the supposedly 'paintballs'. It was hard and hit quite mighty strong, but her enhanced durability easily allowed her to brush the pain off in matter of seconds, although getting sprayed by mutliple of those shots could prove problematic. Risaka realizes the many bullets hitting the floor was the intention of the opponent, a space of dusty smoke covered her sights.
''So that's how you're gonna play? Revealing your location just became your bigest mistake.''
Risaka dashed right out of the cloudy space with her incredibly agile body, with so much space in the courtyard it was no difficult task for her to be using her body swiftly. She eyes at Amanda once ending her short dash, glaring at the gun, seeing it was a mere paintabll gun? Risaka thought that must've been one dangerous tool. But the fact this pink haired fragile looking girl used a tool meant they likely had very little battle prowess, a gadget specialist? Risaka needed to take Amanda out posthaste.
''This will only take a moment.''
Preparing to assault Amanda down with her overwhelming speed Risaka wanted to take advantage of her agility to avoid any more bullets, however, a third party just joined out of nowhere! Where did he even come from? From above? He was fast and looked extremely eager, a tad bit too eager. ''Attacking the girl could be a grave mistake with such a guy around, he must be fast.'' Changing priority Risaka aimed to strike the third party as fastest as possible, no monolouging, no unecessary introduction, a straight forward, blunt force of nature was all she needed to give him. She sprung from her position and used her charged punch todeliver a devastating blow around his torso area. Whether he wanted to block with his forearms or wanting to dodge away, her strike certainly had the power to send someone flying across the courtyard.
''I truly... HATE interruptions!''

It wasn't particularly difficult to find the odd looking door, the appearance of it a dead giveaway that there was something interesting behind it. Unless of course that's what they wanted him to think... but then they could have also considered him to have been aware that they were aware of what he was aware of and... well, that was recursive thinking really, and what was the worst that could happen if he just went and had a little look to see where it might lead? Still clinging to the side of the building, he slid his way across the wall until he was near the window, barely acknowledging the suits of armour that stood guard at the window. This was a castle after all, decorative armour was to be expected. Carefully extending his slime to where he could properly see into the window, he made a note of the Adler student standing guard over their target.
Raising himself up a little, Luka activated his communicator and whispered into it. "Target found. Central row, easternmost room. One guard, unknown defences," he told his fellow U.A. students, already trying to figure out the best course of action for getting to their goal. He might not have had any ideas immediately, but he was glad that he had at least found the King. Now all they had to do was get to him, an easy task, even with the suit of armour coming...right...towards...him? Camoflaged as best as he could, Luka hadn't expected to be spotted, nor had he anticipated the armour becoming active. He had no idea who was in the armour, but there was only one real thing he could think to do in this situation, hoping that his actions would be surprising enough to give him some degree of advantage.
He pushed off of the wall at the armour as quickly as he could, and tried to slide through whatever opening he could find, his slime body able to fit through the smallest of holes. Whoever was in that suit probably wasn't expecting such an attack, and the element of surprise should hopefully work to his advantage, allowing him to cause some interesting damage as necessary. Assuming he was able to actually get into the armour and not just splatter across it like a large blue paintball (which was always an option), Luka would find himself between metal and more metal, the basic robot within the armour equal parts surprising and relieving. It was much easier to deal with machines than living people, at least if you wanted to remain ethical. In this case, he would endeavour to damage the robot to the point that it was no longer functional, slamming spikes of slime through whatever key parts he could find.
This would be followed by attempting to fill the armour with his slime body and march it back to its resting position, acting like nothing of interest was happening. Of course, if things didn't go as planned, he'd have to be ready to react to whatever came his way. He could only hope that he was able to deal with things quickly and quietly enough not to make the situation worse. Best case scenario, the Adler student in the Throne room wouldn't even notice that he had been at the window, and would wave off the Knight as a false alarm. Worst case... well, Luka didn't know what the worst case scenario was, but he tried his best to be ready for it just in case.
Better to be prepared and not need to be, than to be caught with your pants around your metaphorical ankles.

Thanks to the multitude of hidden cameras scattered around, throughout, and within the castle, the audience was getting a perfect view of all the action. It was still too soon to decide just which school would emerge victorious, although there were certainly many people who were making bets on which students would be the ones who would win. Regardless, the siege was far from over. Anyone could win this. There was still time for either team to do something that would put them ahead of the competition.
Still, time was not unlimited. In fact, the time allotted to both teams to achieve their respective win conditions was now around half. To signify this, a loud cannon was fired twice, one that echoed across the arena. The loud booms could be heard by everyone within the castle. Both teams would now be aware that they had reached the halfway point.
Despite being forced to tank a cannonball, the good news for Chimera was that that was the only trap in that room. Again, the Adler students did their best at setting up traps around the castle despite being spread thin. Sadly, they did not have much time to set up anything else here. And as he and Charlotte moved to the next room, the two would see that this room contained no traps whatsoever. A bit disappointing, but hey, the two could continue to move forward without opposition.
Of course, their break from having to deal with any traps or obstacles would soon come to an end. Once the two reached the hallway in the northwest section of the castle, they would be able to notice several things. First, in a small corridor to the right led back to the courtyard, another handy shortcut should they need it. Second, if the two pressed on forward and to the right, ignoring every detour along the way, they would eventually reach the entrance to the inner courtyard. And with Luka being in that area himself, it would make for a good opportunity to meet up with their fellow student! And then there was the third thing, the one that Charlotte and Chimera would immediately notice should they choose to press forward. The moment they entered the hallway, all doors to this area would lock immediately. They were trapped. And with how unnaturally durable the walls and doors were, it was clear that there was no way out.
And being locked in was just the beginning. The hallway was littered with small robots that resembled... roombas? Each one had a gadget or weapon attached to the surface of it. One had what looked like a taser, one with a net, one had a knife taped to it (thankfully just a butter knife), one had six knives, one had a paintball gun, one came with a ball and chain, one with a built-in slingshot and smoke balls for ammunition, one that fired some kind of slippery gel from what looked like a bottle of glue attached to it, one with what looked like a mini catapult (with the floor surrounding it having pebbles and small rocks for ammo), one with a built-in turret that looked like it was ripped straight out of a military tank, one with a garden hose that sprayed water, and finally, one that had what looked like a rocket-propelled grenade attached to it (definitely not real, but with how well-made it was, it definitely looked realistic).
Twelve roombas in all, all scattered throughout the hallway positioned in such a way where avoiding them was virtually impossible. Not that it would matter if they could be avoided. If Charlotte and Chimera hoped to unlock the doors and continue on, every single last one of these had to be destroyed. And the moment either of them got close enough to one, the roomba would unleash its attack.
Meanwhile, the twins were beginning to get annoyed with this armored winged girl. Not only was hitting her proving to be annoying as she was pretty fast as well, but now she had the audacity to actually play music in the middle of a fight? Was she that arrogant or something? "Hey, what the hell! Take this match seriously! This is a fight, not a stage play!" Her sister just shook her head disapprovingly. "Forget it. Our actions will speak louder than words."
Still, even Elena and Helen had to admit that despite their opponent's cockiness, she at least had the skills to back up the talk. The twins stopped from moving close to each other just in time to avoid those feathers. And then the armored winged girl attacked, slamming down with surprising strength. It certainly knocked both girls off balance.
Despite that, things would not go entirely according to plan for Angel and Yusaku. Even while being knocked down, both girls instinctively reached out for the other, using their quirks to attract each other and quickly move close together, dodging the flicked pebble. Seeing how fast it moved, it was clear that getting hit by that would have been very bad. "Not bad. Good to know you have the bite to back up all that bark." "But just a fair warning. So do we!"
Helen then used her quirk to push Elena away from her and towards Yusaku and Angel. With how fast she moved, Elena hoped to take the armored winged girl by surprise. Though if Angel chose to take to the skies, she would no doubt be surprised by what happened next. If the UA students thought that the twins' magnetism (assuming that they could figure out that that was how their quirks worked) was limited to just the 2D plane, then they were in for a shock. Elena jumped up, and thanks to Helen's quick yet subtle alternation between attracting and repelling her sister, she was actually able to keep Elena airborne! This meant that with her speed and agility, she could easily keep up with Angel in the air! And with how fast, agile, and strong the girl was, it would be tricky to try and deal with Helen on the ground with Elena using her quirk in tandem with her sister's to relentlessly pursue the UA students.
And that was not the end of it. After some attempted attacks (regardless of whether they landed or not, Helen would attract Elena back towards her. Then the twins would swap roles! It would be Helen's turn to be pushed upwards by Elena and propelled back and forth to chase after and attack Angel and Yusaku. The transition was seamless, like it was something the two had practiced for years! And that was indeed the case.
With how incredible Helen and Elena's teamwork was, how would Yusaku and Angel fare? Would they be able to show off teamwork even stronger than that of the twins?
Meanwhile, Amanda was definitely startled by just how fast the UA student was. In only a matter of seconds, the girl had went from being the hunter to the hunted. In fact, if not for Manuel's quick arrival, this would have been all over for Amanda in seconds. With Risaka's speed and earlier demonstration of her strength, it was clear that Amanda had dodged a massive bullet there. Even more so seeing that Manuel was now the new target. Wasting no time, Amanda got out of there in a hurry.
Unlike his fellow student, Manuel was definitely looking forward to this fight. With such a promising opponent he could go all out against, this definitely sounded like a good time. Wanting to see his opponent's power firsthand, Manuel chose to block Risaka's attack rather than try to avoid it. While this did result in avoiding the worst of the impact, he of course still got pushed back very far, slamming into a faraway wall.
Of course it hurt. Of course the pain was tremendous. The fact that the arms he used to block the punch weren't completely shattered was a miracle. But Manuel grinned as he gritted his teeth in pain. Finally, a worthy challenge! He shared Risaka's sentiment. Not wanting to waste time with unnecessary words, he just wanted to jump straight into action as quickly as possible!
Running towards her, Manuel began to deliver a series of punches. Repeating jabs over and over and over again. It did not matter if Risaka got hit or if she blocked or dodged. With his quirk, each punch would get stronger and faster with each repeated movement. And as each punch got stronger, so did the force of every punch pushing against the air. It would soon feel like a mini explosion every time his fist smashed through the air.
This was clearly a battle between two powerful students. But whose strength would ultimately prove to be superior? And how long would it take for someone to go down?
From one courtyard to the other. Fortunately for Luka, his teammates would have no problem hearing him loud and clear (assuming they were not too occupied at the moment). Unfortunately for Luka, he was now being attacked! On the bright side, his maneuver worked out perfectly, being able to slip inside the armor through a small opening. And from within the armor, he could get to work on taking down the robot inside.
Unfortunately, there were some issues to deal with. As he pounded the robot to its oblivion, Luka would find out the hard way that the robot had a parting gift to give before its demise. That was in the form of electrocuting itself. And with Luka smashing it directly, the slime boy would be forced to endure the pain as electricity danced through his body. Fortunately, the charge was rather weak, so it was definitely far from serious. Still, that was some stinging pain that could not be ignored so easily.
And that was not the only trap that Luka had triggered. Though it was very difficult to tell, both suits of armor were on top of a tile. This was essentially a scale, with both suits of armor keeping it balanced. Now that the scale was no longer balanced, a silent alarm would go off. Though Luka himself would not hear or see anything unusual, a certain some one did.
"Hmm?" Stefan looked at one of the lights in the throne room suddenly blink repeatedly. "So, someone is here already." He picked up his communicator and spoke. "One of the UA students is outside the throne room. Anyone nearby?" He then heard Amanda's voice. "I'm in the Great Hall. I'll be there shortly. You want me to deal with the intruder?" He then replied. "No, just make your way back here. Once you do, I'll go find the intruder and deal with them myself. Best to have at least one of us guarding the king at all times."
Afterwards, Stefan noticed that the flashing light stopped. Did that mean that the intruder put the armor back where it was? He then smiled. It was too late for that. The trap had already been triggered.
A couple of seconds later, Luka would see something rather bizarre. A robot shaped like a raven would begin to swoop down. Looking at the armor the boy was hiding inside, the raven bot opened its beak. And then, a barrel that was hiding inside extended outward. With a loud poof sound, the robot began pelting the armor with balls that released a strange looking gas upon collision. It looked like green smoke. Whatever that stuff was made of, it was a safe bet that inhaling that gas was not good. How will Luka deal with it?

856 WC HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA | "I'm fiiiiiiiiine, I'm fine, I just, ow, have a headache. And arm ache. Everything ache. Nothing broke! So maybe Yojin's not completely useless after all." Chimera smirked as much as his muzzle--and pounding horns--would let him as Charlie questioned both his injuries and his sanity. He had planned on dodging if he could've, but the door didn't open the right way for him to get away fast enough. It hadn't hurt that much. That was probably the adrenaline helping, though. A bit slower than before he followed Charlotte rather than taking the lead, and helped to move the canon itself out of the way as quietly as he could so that they could get through the hall. His ears flicked in her direction, then toward the newly accessible room. "Huh, you're right, I didn't hear the blast that loudly. Just, like, normal volume. So it's working right!"There we go, a good thing to come out of my dumb choices.Chimera pointed towards the hallway splitting off from the one they were in. "Courtyard. I can hear the others, but they're farther away. We've gotta be getting closer to the back of the castle then." Continuing farther in, he looked forward, and could hear more noises. A voice from up ahead? A girl's if he had to guess, but not a familiar one. "There's somebody a couple rooms ahead. Can't pinpoint it, but it's definitely not Luka. Maybe he got spot--" Click. He froze mid-step and turned to look at the door to the hall, and found it was closed, when he'd left it open. With a few quick steps her went back to it and gave the handle a firm rattle. It was locked. Great. "Goddammit it locked on us. That's, like, the oldest trick in the book!" He growled softly as he made his way towards the opposite door, not paying any mind to the rest of the room for just a moment--nothing jumped out at him, so maybe it was safe? He rattled the other door's handle as well. Yep. Locked. "Fuck. I could break this thing down, but not without making a ton of noise...shit, shit, shit..." Chimera turned his head again to look at Charlie, and was about to say something when, dare he admit it, a familiar sound suddenly registered in his ears, and he looked down. Milling about, seemingly completely unbothered by the presence of the two people in the room, were a gaggle of roombas. What. Wait. How didn't I notice them. Have I gotten so used to roombas that I tuned them out? None of them got in my path...well, I mean, they're not really trying to be, they're just...roomba-ing. I don't... "You're kidding me with this, right," he said, deadpan, to nobody in particular, before raising his eyes again to meet Charlie's own. Very very slowly a smile came back to his face. And much quicker than that it turned into quite a wicked little smirk. Chimera brought his paws together at his chest and gave his knuckles an audible crack, sharp teeth showing like a threat. "Oooooh man, have I got two years of payback just waiting for a moment like this." Eenie meenie miney... Chimera rushed--without even a second to wait or come up with a strategy or anything--toward the roomba with a ball and chain. He swung his arms up over his head, paws still tight in a ball together, and brought it down with a very, very satisfying SMASH right atop the roomba's shiny round shell. It caved under the swing like an eggshell and the little motor inside made a piteous shriek as it died from the impact. Like a school of piranhas in television all of the other roombas suddenly turned towards him, and, like something out of his nightmares--which let's be honest, it probably was at some point--they began to rush him with knives twirling and paint-balls firing and tiny rocks flying. He rebutted by yanking the flail off the smashed roomba's corpse and swinging it at the oncoming wave, cackling like an utter madman all the while. "GET WRECKED YOU PIECE OF SHIT MURDER BOTS!! I've slept peacefully with you assholes in my room for TWO YEARS!! You don't scare me!!" He swung it right into the one with the knives which went flying through the air, smashed into the wall, and fell to the ground in a pile of broken bits and blades. Them being stealthy had been absolutely foregone for the sake of roomba carnage. This was so cathartic he wanted to find whoever made these afterwards and thank them. And then find that person's dorm mate, and apologize to them. "Whoever the hell made these--" he laughed while kicking the paintball one into the farthest side of the room, landing the gun not too far from Charlie, "--can NEVER meet Yojin!! Can you imagine him giving one a catapult?!" |

| O ddly enough Angel wasn't angry that her attacked missed it's target!. Part of her would have been a bit disappointed if she had gotten a knock out that quickly. As one of the twins yelled at her to take the match seriously Angel just grinned behind Yusaku's helmet like head. There was something the twins didn't seem to quite understand! They were on world wild television and so they were on the biggest stage of them all! Just because Angel was cracking jokes and acting theatrical didn't mean that she wasn't taking the fight seriously. In fact the reason Angel was being able to crack jokes and have fun was because the twins were giving her a worthy fight! "What's that old saying girls? All the world's a stage!? Well the entire world is watching us so we're on the biggest stage of them all! The pros of the world are watching us closely to see what we are all about and the civilians of the world are looking to see if there are symbols and heroes they can look to and feel safe around in this next generation of heroes! I'm not mocking our fight by cracking jokes and putting on a show, but giving the people of the world a reason to smile so that they feel safe, happy and loved!"Once one of the twins launched her sister at Angel and Yusaku she quickly took to the sky to try and avoid the attack. However it seemed her worthy opponents had thought ahead as one sister launched the other into the air who began to throw punches which Angel gladly took as she crossed her arms in an X formation. As she took the blows she heard through Yusaku's frequency that Luka had found their target. That meant that the game would soon be over and if Angel was gonna take home a personal win for both her and Yusaku she had to do it now! As Angel took the blows she knew it was time to pull out their ultimate technique. "Yusaku! It's time! Begin full body charge at maximum voltage!"Angel knew that this order would take a few moments to execute and so as the sisters switched places Angel took a couple more blows until she began to feel the spark of the electricity flow through her. Knowing she needed more time and so during one of Helen's runs and attacks Angel quickly reached out to grab hold of her fist with the strength of the vice and power of a super powered taser. If the grip held true Angel would use her free fist to attempt to deliver two devastating punches to Helen's gut and then one to her jaw to spread out the taser like feeling. Once Angel heard that Yusaku was ready Angel would toss Helen back down toward her sister before launching two volleys of five feathers. Five were headed toward Helen's arms and legs themselves to do piercing or cutting damage while the other five were headed toward Elena to cause a distraction to attempt her to make her falter in using her quirk. Once the set up was complete Angel quickly rushed toward the twins while hardening both of her wings completely. She then wrapped them around her like a cone or drill and began to spin her body counter clockwise causing the large electricity filled gust created by the spinning to attempt to pull both her targets toward her as she revealed her tag team ultimate move. Hopefully even if it wasn't a direct hit, the force of the electricity, wind and hopefully getting cut by the spin would be enough to at least knock one of them out. "BOLT OF ZEUS!" |

Think it'll work? It'd take a miracle. THE PRAWN STRODE NERVOUSLY AHEAD, fidgeting with the cherry bombs in her hands. The cannonball had been a surprise, but—wow, Chimera had handled it like a champ. And the earbuds seemed to be working! Great! Nothing like a field-test to make sure tech was effective.
The lull in the action gave the prawn a moment to take-in the attention to detail, her eyes roving over the castle around them. Such a loving recreation, and for nothing more than to field one student event. What a waste.
The *click* of the door behind them made Charlotte start—she hadn’t realized how quiet the hall was until the door locked behind them. She whirled on the noise along with Chimera, eyeing the door. Chimera tested it. No dice.
“Oh, come on.”
Her attention had been so trained on eye-level threats, she’d scarcely noticed the ankle-level threats that milled about them. Wh—Roombas?! Had these jerks been taking notes off of Yojin.
“H… holy shit, I hope Yojin’s watching this,” the prawn muttered in vague amusement. Chimera rushed the Roombas, going for the one with the flail—probably for the best, it seemed like the biggest threat—smashed it with his fists, took the flail and began smashing Roombas left and right.
The prawn surged into motion as well, eager to get her own piece of the action. She couldn’t sit by passively the whole time, now could she? She clenched her own fist and brought it down, hard, on the soft plastic shell of the nearest Roomba, the poor little water-shooting one, crumpling it as one might crumple an aluminum can. Then another approached, the one with the slingshot— and fired upon the prawn. Its pebbles ricocheted off of her shell and clattered to the floor. The one-knife Roomba also charged nearer.
Oooooh, she wanted that slingshot—it’d be perfect for the cherry bombs. Charlotte smashed that one, too, ripping the slingshot from the top before sending it spiraling towards the wall, where Chimera had discarded his first victim.
While the prawn made quick work of the nearby Roombas, she didn’t work with the same vigor that Chimera did—perhaps it was because she wasn’t experiencing the same catharsis as he was by dispatching the tech? In fact, the prawn felt a little guilty—someone had lovingly made these little bastards, and here they were dismantling them.
She knew, as well as any, that this was a hazard that came with the work-place. Chimera punted the paintball one, and it smacked into the wall nearest Charlotte, making the prawn flinch slightly. The gun was… also tempting, but the trigger wouldn’t fit her massive hands. She’d have to settle for stealing the slingshot.
She barked a laugh back at Chimera, grinning from behind her surgical mask.
“I can, actually,” she avowed, “And if he’s watching, I’m sure he’s taking notes. Come on.”
Had they gotten the Roombas? Could they move forward? Charlotte had busted her fair share of locked doors, so the challenge posed by being locked-in wasn’t one that daunted her. She would proceed forward, continuing in the direction that they’d been walking, towards the door at the far end of the hall—ideally the door to the inner courtyard.
If the door was unlocked, she’d open it—but if it was locked, the prawn would again bring her fist down upon the knob with the intention of breaking it and allowing them to proceed. At least she was good for something, right? And she’d gotten some pretty sweet spoils from the Roomba carnage, too. She wondered if she’d be allowed to keep the slingshot. For posterity.

He couldn't help but be concerned by the lack of any response to his attempts at communicating to the other students. Was he being blocked? Were they already out of the match? Even as he tore apart the robot in the armour, his concern for his team was present. Not even the electric shock he got from being so close was enough to distract him from the concern. It hurt, but he'd had worse, and unlike many he didn't really have the same sort of nervous system that made electrical damage so debilitating. It had fried some of his slime though, taking away some of the mass that he could have used, and his body stung. Still, he'd made short work of that particular problem, so at least he didn't have to deal with any more robots.
At least until he spotted the bird-like robot come flying towards him, seemingly looking right at him where he was hiding within the armour. That had to be cheating! Even as the barrel extended from his beak he was preparing himself, a barrage of bullets made of slime spitting out of the face-plate of the armour, aiming to take out the robot bird before it could become too much trouble. Unfortunately the robot spat out balls of its own, splattering on the armour and releasing a suspicious looking smoke. Regardless of whether or not he had managed to destroy the robot bird, Luka knew he had to get away from the smoke. Luckily for him he didn't have to move like a normal human being, instead sliding down the armoured robot and out onto the ground, moving as quickly as he could and hoping the smoke green smoke was lighter than air. If it was heavier, this was going to get bad quickly.
Still hurting, he'd check to see if he got the new robot, and if not, another barrage of hardened, high-speed slime would fly towards the obnoxious device. As he did that, Luka's next move was to form a shell of slime around himself, shaping it quickly into a human form that vaguely resembled one of his classmates. If it looked a bit too much like Red... well, the other boy had been his opponent in the tournament, and Luka had gotten a decent look at him. He also wasn't in this competition, which meant that Luka wasn't making a doppelganger, while still creating something that looked like one of the U.A. students. With such a decoy up, he should be safe from further attacks for the moment, as it wasn't part of his central mass. He made sure to try and move the 'chest' of the decoy to simulate breathing, and coloured some of its 'hair' reddish around the crown, implying a knock out by blunt trauma.
It wasn't perfect, but hopefully it would work long enough for him to do what he needed to.
With that set up, Luka would begin to try and force slime into the ground, undulating waves of the translucent gel of his body working to scoop out material so that he could begin to dig a small tunnel. Only an inch across would be more than enough for him, and he would be able either ready himself to catch the Adler students in his trap, or he might be able to dig a tunnel towards the king. It depended on how hard it was for him to damage the ground enough to be able to move it. This wasn't regular earth after all, it was harder and more compact, so he might not get very far. Still, it was worth a try, and if all else failed, he was still hiding beneath the 'unconscious body' that he had crafted.

RISAKA REINACHTSecond Year U.A / Miss Gray
''Everyday I ask myself if I even should bother'' words • tagged @ • notes | The fist landed dead-on, the impact felt solid and the pressure on her fist quickly eased as she watched the body of the newcomer to the scene get forced back to the wall in the back. But he was quick enough to react with such a compact block, but by the looks of it he can't take too many of those. Risaka only knew a few things about him, that he is eager, he is the kind of guy that happily takes the frontline, and reactive, however, she was afraid this punk would pull up some weird quirk on her. As much she wanted to go full blasting at him, she needed to observe more of him, the first punch was to check how well he takes it, and frankly she hoped he'd get knocked out from it.
''I don't like this boy's attitude, the hint of cockiness pisses me off, but that could only mean he has something in store.''
Before she could make a decision, Manuel went at her, and quite fast. The first punch? It was a breeze for her to avoid, he might be a fast boy, but his fighting style seems to lack. Afew more punches gets dished out, one thrusting forward exceptional faster, making Risaka having to block with her left arm. But it she didn't get to feel for one second of that punch before yet another solid jab was struck against her durable defense. It needed a few thoughts of thinking, but she notices the way he paces up, he got faster AND stronger, that's very much not natural, so was this part of his quirk? She gritted her teeth, no longer able to dodge with her upperbody as she pleases she got both of her arms to act like a shield, absorbing each enhanced punch.
''Calm, calm.. what the hell kind of quirk is he possessing?! It looks like he is mindlessly barraging me with punches, but it certainly feels the opposite!''
Planting her feet tight against the floor she stood her ground with very little intention of moving, if she did then he could pull a fast one at her. Glaring between her forearms she also noticed there was a certain rhythm to the way he punched, a momentum.. That's it! He is building up a momentum, and he has reaching quite high at this point, enduring any logner will quickly prove to be fatal to her mission.
''Ngh-! So is that all you are?! Your gimmick is flawed!''
She actually spoke, hoping to maybe catch his attention where he shouldn't focus at. All she needed was to give him a slight bump on his road, when going at a full ramming speed on the highway even the smallest bump could send the vehicle flying! In the midst of Manuel's barrage Risaka opened her block pose, sending one of her very own jabs to power clash at Manuel. But she did not intend to strike at his body, instead she should focus on ruining his flow. Her fist, packing with a ferocious strength and speed, smashed against the opponent's enhanced fist in hopes to make his jab not connect like the rest, inconstiency to his momentum. But she did not stop at that one punch, moving foot forward while she got her fist clashed against his she stepped forward, getting awkwardly close to his front where jabbing was impractical.
''Anti-Reversal!!!''
Using her hidden trait to her quirk, she took the opportunity to give Manuel a big surprise that surely will make his balance get shattered on the spot. The front of her body, the colours she absorbed long ago, began to burst out from her figure, into a pressurized force that knocks the air around them both like a shockwave. While not damaging it was certainly strong and instant.
''Mnh..-! Not now!''
Right after pulling her secret tool, she felt the rise of her quirk's drawback, feeling a lazy eye she knew that her mind wanted to sleep soon. But not now, far from this very moment, her adrenaline was fired up and more than willing to push beyond her flaw.
Her glaring frown grew a whole lot more angry as she knew this punk made her reach to this point, and to vent out this anger she delivered her very own barrage of punches, both supported by her immensely quick agility and prowess, crashing against his body and punches, that is if he manages to pull up his momentum like before.
At this point, she had no idea what the others were doing, her earpiece was gone and right now the fight with this guy was her very own world, beating him down and continue forward was the only goal she needed.

Yusaku has his hands full while Angel seemed to have quite the fun times. Gotta shift weight here, correct movements there, make sure she wouldn't trip on his tail, play music and a bunch of other diverse tasks. Now some of those he would have to say he found to be quite useless. Especially the music. But hey if Angel was gonna end up taking the win against the dynamic duo there then he couldn't really complain about her ridiculous requests.
He had to wonder how the others were doing. He would hope their plans were at least bearing some sort of results. Luka's especially. His buddy has sneaked his way in while he an bird girl wearing him were basically going around as one big distraction. Maybe the inside of the castle was booby trapped. Wouldn't rule it out. Last year the peeps from Adler tried turning part of the field into glass shard. No reason not to try some shady stuff. Losing twice in a row to the same people...kind of...could really sting. That, plus it could put a dent in their reputation and all that too.
Right right. Yusaku shoved those thoughts aside as he had once again divert power from his reserves to power up Angel's attacks in a safe way to avoid his pilot to snap their bones in to. After that, he needed to correct the parrallax on Angel's aim too.
Man, he hoped all this would end soon. He was starting to see his reserves dip below half. All this energy intensive fighting without respite was gonna drain him dry.

One by one, the roombas were getting pulverized. If the poor things had sentience, they would probably be screaming in horror upon getting smashed and ripped apart. Fortunately, they did not, so there was no need to feel too bad. Of course, the roombas would not go down without a fight. The ones that were not immediately destroyed would try to attack Chimera and Charlotte. But their offensive was comparable to using a feather to hold back the tide. Whatever attacks they tried to unleash, it proved to be ineffective as they were either destroyed before they could do anything, or their attacks were not enough to deter the two UA students. The roomba with the rocket-propelled grenade moved back as its brethren were getting annihilated one after the other. It only had one shot loaded, so it had to make this count! Taking aim, it opened fire at Chimera as a memento before its inevitable demise. Fortunately, this was not a real grenade being fired, and he would have more than enough time to see what was happening and move out of the way (or try and take it head-on if he wanted to, but who would be that daring?). Unfortunately, the blast would still hurt a lot if it did land. Eventually, the dust would settle, and all twelve roombas would be destroyed, their weapons free for the taking if the UA students chose to do so. As soon as the last roomba was taken care of, Charlotte and Chimera would immediately notice a loud clicking sound. All the locks in the hallway were now disabled, letting the two students advance. Should they move forward, they would reach the courtyard in the back of the castle. From here, they would notice two doors should they continue forward. There was the door to the Great Hall just ahead and to the right. And a bit further ahead was a locked and heavily reinforced door. Incidentally, Charlotte and Chimera would be able to notice Amanda leaving the entrance to the Great Hall and heading to the reinforced door to presumably unlock it and go inside. Seeing this, it would not be hard to figure out what that door was the entrance to. It was the throne room entrance! But before they could get too far in the inner courtyard, there would of course be obstacles standing in their way. These came in the form of a pair of armored knights. Well in truth, these were just robots clad in thick armor. But with how menacing they looked, it was understandable for anyone to think these were the real deal. And unlike the roombas, these robots would not go down so easily. If the two UA students hoped to reach the throne room, or get to Amanda and try to take her key before she locked herself inside, they would need to find a way to destroy these knights in shining armor. Because it was unlikely that they would allow the two to slip on by without a fight. --- The twins did not even bother replying to Angel's words this time. The time for words had passed. Now it was time to see which pair of students had the better teamwork. At first, it seemed as though the twins were going to be tricky to take on with how excellent their use of their quirks were. Launching one girl in the air at high speed, pulling her back after an attack, and then the other girl being launched up, rinse and repeat. However, Angel and Yusaku had their plan. But would it be effective? Helen clenched her teeth as she suddenly found her fist being held. She closed her eyes as she braced for the inevitable pain. However, rather than attempt to free her, Elena had a different plan in mind. If her opponents would hold her sister in place like that, then she would take advantage of that. So instead of trying and failing to attract Helen back to her, Elena decided to use her quirk to attract herself towards her sister. If this winged girl refused to let go of her sister, then perhaps a punch to the face would be enough to get the job done! Unfortunately for Elena, Yusaku was finished with his necessary preparations. So before her attack could reach, her sister was being tossed right at her. Both girls crashed down to the rooftop. Fortunately, their parachutes were deployed while they were still in midair so that such a fall would not be lethal. Unfortunately for them, however, they were being attacked with feathers, and the UA students would soon come at them with their finisher. There was not as much room to dodge as the twins would have liked. And blocking such a move was definitely out of the question. All they could do was match the UA students' finishing move with one of their own. Nodding at each other, they decided to pull off that move. It was very risky, but it was their only shot at ending this quickly. Grabbing her sister's hand, Helen began to activate her quirk. And with all her strength, she literally tossed Elena, using her quirk to push her sister away from her at maximum power and towards Yusaku and Angel right as they had let go of each other. With her protective gear, Elena would at least avoid the absolute worst injuries.... "MAGNETIC" "METEOR!"...But with so much force coming from both attacks, it was clear that nobody would be coming out of this completely unscathed. Not Elena, who was being launched straight into such a devastating attack, not Helen, who would be caught in the shock wave of both attacks colliding, and not the UA students, who would find it difficult to avoid the human projectile who seemed determined to get at least one attack in despite enduring a lot of damage. But at the end of the clash, it was clear that Angel and Yusaku had sustained the lesser damage. Helen was knocked back and barely conscious, while Elena was lying down, injured and unconscious. Helen was already getting up, struggling to ignore her injury as she made her way to her sister, more concerned for Elena than her opponents right now. What the two UA students did next was up to them. Knock out the other sister while she was in no position to fight back? Contact their teammates to check up on them? Or perhaps ignore Helen and fly off to meet with their allies deeper into the castle? Though if they did that, there was no doubt that they would be slowed down quite a bit. Not just by their injury, but by the two nearby cannons that seemed to be turning and aiming at Angel and Yusaku on their own! Regardless of whether or not they decided to knock out Helen, it seemed as though she had one last surprise for them. --- The robot was not directly attacking Luka, but rather the area where the trap had been triggered. That was how this particular robot was programmed. Of course, seeing as Luka was right there, it would be completely understandable to think that there was cheating going on. Regardless, he would at least get his revenge by knocking down and destroying the rather fragile raven bot. Luckily for Luka, the smoke was indeed lighter than air, so he had managed to avoid the dangerous gas. Unfortunately, not all would go well for the slime boy. While the ground itself was not too difficult to break through given enough effort (although it certainly would not be a cakewalk), the moment he dug enough and reached the underside of the throne room, it would prove to be exceptionally tough. Certainly not impossible though, as given enough time, Luka could certainly break right through. But would he have the time to dig all that way? Especially that Amanda was nearby and quickly approaching the area? "I don't like this." The girl was already nervous. To her left, she could see the robots having activated to take on the two UA students that had just shown up. Would the armored guardians be enough to hold them off? She had to believe that they would not get overpowered so easily. She hurried off to go unlock the door to the throne room so she could swap with Stefan. But then she paused. That's right. Stefan did say that one of the UA students were near the throne room. Amanda wanted to be careful. What if that UA student would try to ambush her and sneak inside to attack the king? "Stefan?" She talked in her communicator. "I'm going in now. Be ready to attack anyone who tries to break in, alright?" She heard the response. "Alright, but first, get a visual on the enemy." Nodding, Amanda turned to look around. And that's when she found him. Someone who looked like they were unconscious. "I see them. They look... unconscious? Did the trap work?" She waited for a response and got one a few seconds later. "Don't get too close. It might be a trick of some kind. Just swap with me and I'll take care of it."She kept an eye on the 'unconscious' boy. Should she try and shoot him while he's still down? She did not like the idea, but what if he was faking it? Or should she ignore him and just let Stefan deal with him? Hmm, what to do? She hesitantly raised her paintball gun and aimed a shot at the student. Would there be a response of some kind? If there was, she could just run to the door and let her teammate deal with him. But if this boy was not playing possum and really was unconscious... Would Luka be able to hold on and keep his deception intact? Or would he be found out? --- Meanwhile, Manuel seemed to be having the time of his life. Perhaps that was a small exaggeration, but few opponents he had faced in the past were able to withstand his attacks for this long. He had really hit the jackpot with this girl. It was clear that she would not be an easy opponent to take down. But hey, that was what made the fight satisfying. Of course, Risaka would soon figure out the secret to his quirk. Her words certainly took him by surprise. "So, you figured it out." And with that, it was only a matter of time until she found a way to stop Manuel's momentum. He soon found himself getting knocked back by Risaka's attack. And he soon found himself back on the defensive once again as she began her relentless barrage of attacks. An opponent this quick and this powerful, and one who was unlikely to let Manuel set up his quirk again. Now this is a challenge! While he still had the competition in mind and he still wished to keep Risaka from going any further into the castle, he no longer wanted to go all out just to help out his team. Now he just wanted to have a satisfying spar. "Come on, show me more of what you can do!" Manuel was certainly not about to let himself get pushed around that easily! No, he wanted to not hold back and fight with everything he had. So he fought back, did his best to either block Risaka's fists or endure the pain for the punches he could not block in time. And he would continue to try and land punch after punch, looking for an opening to try and build up a combo again if he could. But of course, being predictable was boring. The girl would easily see right through him if he went with the same attacks over and over again. So it was time to throw in some kicks into the mix to spice things up. Punches, kicks, jabs, anything he could throw at his opponent while doing his best to take the hits she dished out. Of course, neither student had limitless stamina. One of them would have to go down eventually. But who would be the one to do so? And who would emerge triumphantly victorious?

853 WC This bomb go yeet | Chimera was having too much fun right now. It was honestly probably not a good thing, because it meant he wasn't paying much attention to things outside the massacre of roombas. Luckily he did, however, have just enough spatial awareness (and enhanced hearing) to hear something behind him fire off a shot. Right towards him was flying a goddamn grenade. Not a real grenade, probably, but if the canon was any indication these guys were not going light on them. It probably would still hurt like a bitch to get hit by it.
So he did the only reasonable action and stepped into the oncoming bomb's path. The pin flew out as it approached, but before it could blow, Chimera snatched it up in his very large paw, clamping down on the handle on its side and stopping it from detonating. And he held onto that goddamn grenade as he want back to stomping and smacking roombas until he heard a small--
Click!
Chimera turned towards the door that had been locked (the one they'd been going towards, rather than their route back). That had definitely been the tumblers. They'd did it! Aye! Chimera nearly threw up his arms and then remembered he was still holding a bomb in his hands and decided not to. "Okay! That was fun! Back to the regularly regicide," he panted, a little winded from all that smashing and from laughing through most of it. He went to open the door--with the hand not holding the grenade, obviously--and slowly as he could pushed it open. It was another courtyard, open and airy, and he didn't see anything around the door. He could see something, though. "C'mon!"
Into the courtyard he went, ears perked and listening for anything. He could make out those footsteps he'd heard before, and that same girl's voice down the hallway in front of them. Without cover to peer behind he was sure she had noticed them. Crap. There went stealth. Except...they weren't here to be stealth in the first place, so it didn't matter as much. It just lost them the element of surprise. From here, he could make out what she was saying, too, as well as the faint jingle of a ring of keys at her hip. Bingo.
But between them and her were a pair of actually intimidating looking robots.
Hmmm. Chimera wasn't the best strategist in the world, but he had an idea.
"One of the students are down there, and talking into a communicator...I think she must have found Luka. But. That definitely looks like a big important door to me, don't you think?" Chimera spoke at a low voice, but not a whisper, and looked at Charlie with the same wolfish grin he'd been wearing in the roomba room. "I bet if I rush her while she's distracted, I can nab the keys from her, and distract long enough for Luka to get in. Just need these two out of the way...how many of those punches can you do again?"
With her confirmation and his adrenaline running high, Chimera dropped into a sprinter's stance. He waited just long enough for Charlotte to engage, then in a half-run half-leap he was dashing down the hall as fast as his rabbit feet could take him. Which, as it was, was really, really fast. But she was close enough still to that door that she could just turn towards it--
--buuuuut if, say, a grenade were suddenly launched in the space between her and her escape route, that would probably be deterrent enough to stop her!
"BOMBS AWAY!" Chimera shouted and hurled the still clenched tight grenade out of his hands as hard as he could throw, sending it hurtling right between Amanda and her exit-way. The little grenade burst, a round of less-than-fatal pellets expelled by force of gunpowder (ouch) suddenly stood in the way of Amanda's escape. If his plan worked and she stalled long enough for him to catch up, he'd barrel into her and scoop her up and hold her in the air before she could do anything else. He had no idea what her Quirk was, so keeping her up in the air and away from anything she could grab was the best plan.
And as a bonus, she would be absolutely too distracted to notice Luka doing whatever it was he was up to. Look, sometimes stealth was careful and quiet and all about avoiding a scene, and other times it was using the cover of a way less subtle team to succeed. They could even take the key and use the front door while Luka continued in whatever mouse-hole or crack in the wall he'd found. Or, well, was going to make, as the case was, but the option still stood.
"Sorry for getting handsy with you!" Chimera snickered up at his catch, "Now, if you might be so kind as to gimme your keys, we can be on our way!"

| A s the two mighty attacks collided in the air with a mighty force that could destroy a vehicle Angel even through Yusaku could feel pain radiate through her entire body as she was launched backward in a rag doll fashion as she plummeted toward the ground. Luckily for however she was used to this kind of feeling and after a few moments of falling she quickly corrected her body stance and spread her wings back out to slow and ease her decent as she allowed her feet to touch the ground. Once the proverbial smoke cleared and Angel's vision cleared up from her tumble she realized that she had knocked out one of the twins and had greatly injured the other which was walking toward her sister. Before Angel did anything else she needed to check on her partner. "You good Robo kitty? I think we totally won! I can't wait to see that on television! We need to get to the others before it's to late but first.."Angel then without another word pressed off of the ground and used to wings to launch herself forward toward the twin foes, but instead of attacking the now weak Helen and her out cold sister Angel just reached out to grab the com link out of her ear. She then did the same very gently with her now out cold twin. Once she did so she just easily and quickly crushed them in her hand. While she was distracted doing this however she failed to notice the remote in Helen's hand as she heard the pressing of the button and the moving of the cannon barrels. "Shit!"Angel would quickly turn to see the cannons aim at her and so as they fire and with a massive gust of air from her wings she took to the sky her body and wings aching even though she had basically been wearing full body armor the entire time in the form of Yusaku! Using what speed she could muster Angel narrowly dodged both cannon balls before touching down in front of one and grabbing it from the bottom of the barrel and with a grunt ripped it out of the wall and over her head as she had once before and threw it at its partner to destroy both at once. Angel then finally took a second to catch her breath as her arms and legs shook from the strain. She then without looking at the twin girls and spreading her wings smiled as she spoke to Helen. "You may have lost, but do not be disheartened. What you thought was just one foe was actually two. What you see before you and probably thought was a support item is actually a member of my team using his quirk. You were in a fair fight this whole time and for what it's worth you are the most worthy and powerful opponents I have faced to date. You have made your school and country proud. Sorry for destroying your com links. I couldn't let your team know we are coming. Fair well and may we meet again!"Angel then with a grin took to the air and flew toward Luka's location as fast as she could muster though it was clear the pain she was in was slowing her down a bit. As she flew she did her best to remember what Luka had said about her location. He had said central row, east most room. This meant that he had managed to get inside and was probably worried that his friends had been defeated. Angel thought it best to check in and so she spoke through Yusaku's connection to them. "This is Angel and Yusaku reporting in! The pair of twins on the outer wall have been defeated and we're on our way to lend aid!"As she flew over the court yard and toward the front door she spotted Risaka having a rather tense looking battle with one of the other school's team members. For just a moment Angel thought about interfearing, but decided that Risaka would probably just complain about it later. As Angel reached the front door and flew through it and into the wide halls toward her team mate she thought it was best to once again check on Yusaku. "Sorry I've been driving you a bit rough robo kitty! You can cut the electricity for the rest of the match. I totally owe you a oil smoothie or whatever it is you consume!"As she entered the castle and reached her team mate's location she saw not Luka,but..Red? The fake individual looked to be out cold and knowing that Red wasn't on their team Angel knew that it must have been one of Luka's tricks and so she knew that she had to be here somewhere! That isn't all she found however! She also found Chimara attempting to grab one of the enemy team who most likely had the key since all but one of the enemy team's locations were now accounted for and so she hovered above the two knowing Charlotte most likely would be joining them soon. "Chimera! All of the other teams locations are accounted for except for one! They must be with the target so this chick must have the key! Grab it and toss it up and I'll go get him!" |

Think it'll work? It'd take a miracle. THE PRAWN WORE A WILD, delighted look—her pupils, thinned to slits, only completed the absolutely animalistic appearance. This was fun! Her arms were quivering with excitement, lights undulating on the surface of her carapace. Having conquered the roombas, the two charged through a now-open door, into the inner courtyard. Ahead of them, a member of the opposing team was slipping through the door.
There was nowhere to hide—both Charlie and Chimera realized this—which meant more aggressive tactics. Charlotte began to move forward, only to spot the two absolutely massive knights stalking after her.
“Hoooo shit,” Charlotte whispered. Chimera formulated a plan on the spot—follow that student, but take-out the robots, first. Easy peasy.
“Two,” the prawn rasped. The adrenaline hadn’t faded, and she could still feel that familiar pressure in her arms. Soooo… it was worth a shot, right? Her eyes glittered with excitement.
“On my mark… three… two… one, go!” Charlotte hissed. The two sprung into action—Chimera breaking for the door, and Charlotte running for the robots.
“Hey, you! Stupid knights!” the prawn shouted, “Over here, I’m laying siege to your castle!”
Yes, that really was the best she could do in terms of taunts. Assuming she could snag the attention of the robots-in-armor, Charlotte would start jogging back the way that she had come, trying to lure the robots away from Chimera and the heavily-armored door.
The knights lumbered after her, gears groaning beneath the armor.
“I bet your mom was a vacuum cleaner! Ha! Come get me, you overgrown household appliances!”
She knew better than any that robots were simply pieces of tech designed to fulfill directives—nothing more than a pleasant blend of parts and programming—but if the devices were, perchance, drawn to heat, motion or sound, she could at least be an amusing source of heat, motion, or sound. She had to pose a bigger threat than anyone else in attendance.
One of the robots stooped down and swung at the prawn, causing her to dance out of reach. The near-miss sent a thrill through the prawn, her carapace growing brighter.
“Is that the best you’ve got?!”
She was backed into a corner now, near where they had entered the courtyard. The knights were closing-in—but they had to be lots closer if she wanted her explosive punch to really rip them to pieces. Charlotte balled her right hand into a fist, shaking slightly from adrenaline and nerves.
“Tech gods, forgive me,” she muttered. Her elbow popped with the pressure that was built-up behind it, ready to be released. One robot swiped for her while the other stood watch. Charlotte punched at the air, feeling the familiar snap of her shockwave release conically out from her fist.
Ka-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Due to the conical nature of her punches, it would be difficult to avoid the shockwave that followed—if her punch hit true, it would cause heavy-damage to soft-metal within 3 meters of her fist—and structural collapse to any stone- or concrete—within 9 meters of her.
Any people within the immediate vicinity would need to be mindful of airborne debris—be it from the castle, the robots, or any greenery that was caught-up in the blast. If their earbuds were not in-place, the force of the shockwave might make them dizzy or cause their ears to ring.
Charlotte had closed her eyes when she threw the punch, and only dared to open them now that the deed was done.
Would she hit one robot, or both? Would it destroy the hapless machines, or perhaps lodge them in the stonework of the castle, or would another punch be in order?
If either robot still stood, Charlotte would swallow the simmering nausea in her throat and curl her left hand into a fist, readying a second punch. If neither robot was left standing, be it after one punch or two, she would sigh shakily, bending forward as her head reeled.
This was the worst part of the sonic punches—they always made her feel like puking. Charlotte would breathe shakily, squinting her eyes shut. And, when the nausea subsided, she would move onward, jogging dizzily in the direction that Chimera had gone. Assuming her teammate (now teammates, with the arrival of Angel and Yusaku) were still there, the prawn would wave to them shakily, wordlessly, upon her arrival, not trusting her stomach enough to say anything aloud quite yet.

Luka didn't know how long his decoy would last, nor what was happening in the rest of the castle, and so he was determined to move as quickly as he could, burying himself beneath the ground in a small hole that would give normal humans claustrophobia to even consider moving through. But to Luka, it wasn't that different than swimming, thicker and much harder to see, but he could still move through it, and could surface if he needed to. His body rippled around the edges, pushing the displaced dirt around him rather than packing it tightly, leaving only roughly a centimeter open behind him to keep a connection between himself and the decoy. It was pitch black beneath the ground, though he could feel the occasional muffled vibration from a decent distance away. He didn't know what might have caused such things, but he had to focus on what it was that he was doing.
Using his connection to the decoy as a guiding 'light', Luka was able to judge his current position even as he burrowed. Luckily there were no buried conduits or tunnels in his way, though he was forced to move slightly upwards to go over a concrete surface that felt like it might be part of some drainage system. Continuing to tunnel, the small slime was forced to stop as something impacted against his fake body, the disappating energy into the slime forcing him to focus heavily to keep the darn thing intact. He wasn't going to try and repair any damage, or replicate what it might have looked like, but he needed that anchor to be sure he was in the right place, otherwise he was going to have a hard time reorienting himself underground. This was an issue he would need to work out in the future if he was going to be using this sort of trick more regularly. And truth be told, he probably would be.
On the surface, the pellet struck the 'unconscious body' and pierced it, disappearing somewhere into the torso. The body shook with the impact, having a a consistency similar to ballistics gelatine, but otherwise remained in place and still for the moment. There was a slight melting where it connected to the ground as Luka's control over it waned due to the damage, but it would hold up to a cursory inspection for a little while longer.
Decoy stabilised for the moment, Luka continued forward, rising upwards through the ground as he made for the ideal location for his entry. As best he could tell, this would bring him up right behind the king, possibly even out of sight from anyone else in the room. Either way he would need to be fast, the building hunger within him was warning the German born slime that he was getting ever so much closer to being out of steam. He was going to need to replenish his energy signficantly after this. Rising upwards, Luka soon found the harder stone of the castle floor and, with a thought, pressed a sharpened point of slime into it and began moving it, becoming satisfied when it began breaking down under him. Another thought sent a ripple through the slime tether that connected him to the decoy, disconnecting him from the construct and closing off the last little hole that might give away his path.
Above the surface, the body that had looked like Red began to slowly lose shape even as the other U.A. students entered combat with the Adler defenders, spreading out into a puddle of blue slime that began to evaporate rapidly over the ground. Luka didn't need it anymore.
Beneath the throne room, Luka latched on to the stone floor, sharp serrations extending from his gel-like body as he began to rotate parts of himself, effectively beginning to drill through the stone. Hard enough to cut and tear through the stone, yet soft enough to be incredibly quiet (at least for what was being done) Luka began to rise up through the stone, broken stone shards and dust passing over or through his body to fill the gaps he left behind himself, the slime boy working his way upwards and upwards, hoping that his teammates were doing well, that everything was as anticipated, and that he had the right location. It was hard to say how long it took, but eventually he felt part of his body breach the stone, and he stopped for a moment to gather himself, a pinprick sized opening the only indicator that he had gotten through.
He just needed a moment, and then he would be able to go into action. He still didn't know what was happening between everyone, and had turned off his communicator for the time being so that he didn't get caught out by a sudden message. It was almost time to end this.
