STORYTELLER So it is that time of the year again, the grandious festival that celebrates the bonds and accomplishments the schools of heroism has achieved. The Sports Festival is about to get quite the hectic challenge with this fancy new installment and gift from the Valiant Institute. Today will be about two schools going head and head against eachother over a dead dropping valley. Located quite afar from the festival itself only meant that the entire event is gonna get monitored through many hidden cameras for those attending the event wanting to witness the Battle of the Bloody Bridge!
The Valiant Institute versus UA, United Kingdom versus Japan, red versus blue! A chaotic battle across a bridge between two teams that consists of six participants! And the luckiest of them all, a pro hero from Japan that got personally invited by the british to be the judge and commander of this neat event!
''That is me! Soulfire!~''
With a blooming attitude and a lively gesture, the traditional attired female stood in the middle of the half a kilometer long bridge infront of the two groups of brave, courageous, strong, students of heroism! Soulfire proudly held a megaphone and it's communicator in her hands, maybe a slight overkill since the groups is only like five meters away from her.
''I can't express just how grateful I am for this opportunity to work with you students, specially at such an international level! Not only that, but I get to coach 'slash' judge excellent ones at that! I've seen every recording from last year, and I must I am seeing some real promising ones among us. After a whole year, being second years that is, only means there has been great growth in every single one of you!''
She brings her megaphone down and takes her attention to her side, where she had a whiteboard set up, cloaked by a white rag, and between her and the groups are two tables, each table with six pieces of cloth, six blue and six red.
''You might think a simple fight on the bridge is all there is, but fret not! For me and the wonderful british engineers have cracked a task that will make all of you having to perform at your best. The kind of challenge that won't only push to your limits, but to find new ones. There will be cooperation, strategizing and adaptation to the situation, I present to you.. Bridge of History!''
She excitedly pulls the rag off, revealing a map of the bridge they are standing, and from the side it's showing four whole layers, or rather, floors to the bridge. ''You all probably thought this bridge has been here the whole time, but far from it! It was built from scratch with many different structural layers, this bridge represents the history of how humanity has improved their traversing roads! How is this relating to the event you might wonder? It's mostly aesthetic! But it has -great- flaws, it's not meant to be standing for years upon years, infact this bridge will likely crumble the more you brave warriors fight ontop of it!''
She approaches closer to thw whiteboard, pointing at the first layer, the top one, and going down from there.
''Right now you all are standing on the top layer, purely made from oak wood that are supporting it's weight on the poles on each side! Right below us we got the classic stone bridge, out of nothing but bricks and the excellent craftman's work of chiseling! It's extremely heavy and would very easily crumble with enough pillars gone! And for the third layer we got the start of the Industrial Age, metals, unrefined, rough work that can take blows, but it's qualities easily makes it a hazardzone with enough heat or moisture! And lastly... the layer that will definitely won't fall is the modern steel bridge, refined and proper support! That will be the last fighting ground if everything else fails! But do not worry, you could easily fall off, but we got security net across the entire valley!
Leaving away from the whiteboard for a moment she put her interest to the two tables with the neatly displayed cloths. She picks one up and swirls it around, it's blue vibrant colour swishes through the cold breeze coming from the valley beneath them.
''I have likely done enough rambling about this place, but now you gotta listen very carefully. There are certain rules all of you have to follow close to your heart. First, this is a team based event, fighting against your partners are highly prohibited! Second, you all are gonna wear one of these cloth pieces around one of your limbs, not torso or head, limb.''
She gently tosses the cloth she held towards one of the valiant students, well rather, to the literal humanoid T-Rex, that miracously caught the cloth with his small arms.
''Third, once you fall of the bridge and hit the net below you are permanently out of the game. Fourth, to achieve victory you have to get across the bridge while keeping your cloth attached to your body, if you do indeed reach the other side you are gonna have to ring the bell to recieve the gold medal for your team. However, this is where strategizing comes into play, even if you lose your piece of cloth you can still continue combating the opponent and aid your team, meaning if you don't have it doesn't mean you still play a major role. Which the brings me to the second way of achieving victory! The moment one team loses all pieces of cloths they are unable to score and therefore eliminated, declaring the other team as victorious!''
She claps her hands together and brings a warm smile to her face, bowing to the twelve students. ''That is all! Oh, and of course, I will be located at the very top of this steel tower in the middle, from there I will easily monitor all of you, and don't try to sneak in any rulebreaking tactics, such as trading cloths or put it back on, for I will notice that! And if I catch you I will snag you out off the bridge and allow for you to fall into the net safely, but also disqualified~ Okay chop chop! Take a piece each and start wrapping, while you guys are walking to each end start your strategies! Communicate and make sure everyone on your team is on the same page! The match will start when the fireworks are ignited from the bridge, my own little Starting Pistol if you will~''
Soulfire huffs out, so much talking, but she felt satisfied with her presenation, all hidden cameras are live and watching the stage. She packs her things up and starts climbing up the steel pillar, all the while the two teams took their pieces, everyone from the british team were rather quiet, whispers between them, likely already strategizing.

Post by Meara O'Connor on Mar 3, 2020 1:22:12 GMT -4
Meara was sitting in the changing room by herself, headphones blasting early 2000’s rock as she was in a sort of a meditative state. She had purposely arrived at the finale facility before everyone else so that she could refocus her mind. It had been a blast being back home in the UK, with showing out in the tournament and meeting up with old friends. So Meara had become a little laxed and now she was getting into that state of mind to compete and kick some Valiant ass. Funny enough she actually knew one of their competitors pretty well. Gregory fucking Carmichael, aka Mister Too Cool. He and Meara had quite the small little history between them.
They were two that did not get along well on the most fundamental levels. Gregory had that typical “too cool for you” lone wolf attitude that really pissed Meara off when they were in a joint middle school camp together. He always ran off on his own from the team, believing that he could do better by himself than with the team. Being blunt, Meara had been wanting to kick his ass since then and this was the perfect opportunity to put that smug prick in his place. And throwing him off the damn bridge also sounded perfect to her.
After a few more minutes of fantasizing if kicking the crap out of him her playlist ended and she put her headphones and phone away in a locker they provided for them. “All right O’Connor, let's do this.” She told herself as she shut the door. She made her way through the tunnel leading to the gathering area at the side of the bridge. She just sat there in silence as she slowly watched her team arrive themselves. She locked eyes with the boy she had been thinking about for the past half hour and shot him the most terrible glare she could muster. “Long time no see Frosty.” She spat out at him before turning and listening to Soulfire’s speech about the rules and guidelines of the competition. After she finished Meara grabbed one of the blue bands and tied it to her arm. “You’ll have to tell me how the view is from the net after a throw yer arse off the bridge Carmichael.” She said before walking away to where her team was going to get her on their starting point.
Once there Meara let out a sigh as she calmed herself down. “Shit guess I need to make sure I’m not the one that goes rouge…” she thought. Turning around and facing the other members of her team she smiled and let out a light laugh. “Ah sorry guys, me and that guy have some history and I let it get the best of me.” She said as she sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. “So I don’t know too much about their quirks outside of the base knowledge. But I do know that the guy I was talking to, Gregory Carmichael, has an interesting quirk. He has these cool blue flames that are extremely cold. He seems like a cool dude but he’s an asshole that likes to bail on his team and go off on his own.” She said, the last part of what she said definitely contained bitter resentment. “Well if anyone has any ideas I’m all for listening, I’m definitely better at the mid to long range game then I am the close range. So I can definitely provide support that way.” She said as she looked over at the bridge.
“In my opinion Jisa might be our best bet to end this battle quickly. Given his ability to move quickly and effectively. But, no offense Jisa, he’ll need someone who can pack a punch.” She said turning back to her team. “That’s the best I can think of. End it quickly with Jisa and someone else while the rest of us provide support and keep them off him and his cloth” she said, finishing explaining her idea for how they should proceed. “But I’m open to other ideas if any of you have them.” She continued. “Personally I really want to throw that frosty bastard off the bridge but I’m more for winning than just satisfying my own personal vendettas.” She said with a smirk as she crouched down and waited for her schoolmates to chime in with their opinions or ideas.
While Meara really did want to win the battle, she would be lying if she said that there wasn’t a part of her that wanted to stray away from the main battle and take Gregory out. So she was going to have to make sure that she kept her emotions in check and avoid doing anything brash and dumb. After all, she had a team that would be counting on her to pull her wait and help them achieve victory.

Post by Farrah di Prima on Mar 3, 2020 1:26:46 GMT -4
Farrah had been wearing out the soles of her shoes, dancing nervously, as she was uniquely wont to do. Which exciting finale would she get placed in this year? Would it be the newest iteration of the rescue operation? The fitting acoustics of the high castle? The slapdash craziness of a train ride? Or riding upon one of her compatriots in a cavalry battle (or supporting them... she was a cheerleader used to human pyramids, after all).
The answer... none of the above! Farrah was to be placed against Valiant in the Bloody Bridge contest!
"B-Bloody? Bloody Bridge, you say? I hope it needn't necessarily get that way!"
Farrah found herself amidst a group of her peers, beginning the walk across the big, prop bridge that was to be used for this contest. An odd smile was on her face, not quite her usual, as one eyebrow twitched over her sunglasses. From a distance, she might appear to be calmly dancing like normal, but internally, she was a bit panicked. "Oh gracious. Oh dear! This is ill suited, I fear! On a bridge like this, attacks all come from one way! My attack is sadly one-directional, I say! My teammates may be fierce and strong, but if I hit them with bubbles, it'll all go wrong!" she thought to herself, while trying to shake her head free of that mental image.
As she took a closer look, however, she realized that the bridge might not be the simple, straight shot it appeared to be. After all, there were some lower sections that hadn't been apparent before, as well as rigging supporting the rest of the wooden portion. The field of play was actually somewhat more complex than it had appeared from afar. "Aaah, yes! I feel it returning to me! My sunshiny Pop-Poet energy! I can feel my brain popping like buttered corn! We'll show them how heroic ingenuity is born!" she told the rest of her teammates, spinning and raising her hands into the air, as though she was already doing some sort of victory dance.
"Oh my gawd, Soulfire is here! Is she part of this? I had no idea!!"
Soulfire also had a number of useful clarifications to make. As Farrah had noted, this bridge was many-layered. What she hadn't suspected: it was structurally suspect! If she had a drink, she'd be spit-taking. "This event will mark the second time in a row! Those buildings last year were structural no-nos! What is it with all of the crumbling, dangerous places? If anyone knows any architects, I'd like to see their faces!" Just a joke, to lighten the mood... but she was a little wary at the prospect of becoming the next woman to fall into the city river.
As it turned out, the rules were somewhat more technical than she suspected... but it wasn't a bad thing. It sounded like they'd give her more chances to be useful! After all, she wasn't especially mobile among quirk users... she couldn't fly or move super fast. If the whole thing was a shoving fest to see who could get to the other side and that's it, she wouldn't be much help. In a war of wits and attrition, she could do a lot more good. Though, some might be of the opinion that if you popped open her head, you really would see popcorn in there instead of a brain.
Next, it was time for a very brief strategy session before the show kicked off. First off, her teammates. Some of them she recognized or had even wrote poetry about! There was Kirk, Tetsu, and even her fuzzy cheerleader friend, Jisa. It was nice to see so many familiar faces! There was another girl she'd seen in passing, Meara... she looked pretty strong, like she might work as a powerhouse for them.
By the looks of it, they were going to need it... The only face she recognized on the other team was Slinkee, who she waved at happily, not treating the other girl like an enemy or even a rival, but instead, an old friend. Besides that, there was another little girl she didn't recognize, then two really tough looking guys, and... a tyrannosaurus rex?! She'd heard rumors that one of the kids at the last sports festival was a dinosaur, but she hadn't expected to run into him! "Ahaaa! Isn't this smorgasbord of worldwide quirks great!? A T-Rex in England! A mastodon in Kuwait!?"
Rather than allowing anyone to fact-check her on the existence of a mastodon quirker in Kuwait, Farrah huddled in with her UA family to begin a strategy meeting. It seemed Meera had an axe to grind with at least one of the other team's members... Farrah chose to optimistically believe that friendly rivalry would be motivation to do their best! Plus, she had a good point about Jisa. As one of her most mobile companions here, and really at UA in general, he ought to be great at swiping flags. Taking enemy flags was like another form of rescue, if you thought about it! With all that in mind... Farrah's was also a sort of mid-range quirk. Though it had enough range to be considered long range, it was too slow to properly function as such... She'd have to think of how best to help the others.
"In case you don't know, my quirk is bubbled sound! It makes a pop with a word and can come out quite loud. But peeps: Im'ma let you in on a secret! This quirk of mine has just one little weakness! It's slow moving, it's straight, and it doesn't lob! That means I need a clear shot to do my job!" she explained, holding up only one finger as if all of those three weaknesses fell under just one blanket. Under's no good... I'll need to go over! For that, I was thinking, maybe Kirk provides cover? I saw your effective strategy with Rimma last time! Now how do you feel about carrying a master of rhyme? If you can help me get elevated, I can fire over your head! And then the other team is effectively... put to bed!" she explained, adjusting her sunglasses so that a sharp shine shot off the surface, befitting her confident smirk.
One final matter: the band. Once their team received theirs, she would wrap one just below her thigh. A bit of a... risque position? Maybe, but thankfully(?) For the other team, she was the type who wore pants and not a skirt. Her strategy: she figured that either her legs partially submerged in Kirk's pouch, it will be harder to target them.

Post by Kirk Bluster on Mar 4, 2020 18:13:33 GMT -4
Kirk couldn't help but feel the maximum level of honor! He was in the gang that would be fighting the home team of the festival! There was just something about being perhaps regarded so highly, that they wanted to see you in action proper. Of course, it might have just been luck of the draw, which would be quite an opinion splitter, on whether it was good or bad luck. In Kirks case though, he couldn't have been more excited. His mind just couldn't handle it to be honest. The rivalry side of Big Britain vs America was showing through his bodys inability to stay still! It was time to show those brits how far the americans had split from them! or well, that was what grandpa always said when there was a match between them back home.
However, the meeting before the match just reinforced it. A tactical meeting showing the map, and planning out where folks would go. Kirk was doing his squatty warm-ups and stretching whilst standing up. Honestly, he was so distracted that he didn't realize that a pro-hero was standing in front of him. In his minds image, it was the good old coach from the upper secondary school. A nice guy all around, and ready to command them with the game plan. That and revealing the actual sport itself, of course. Apparently, the fighting stage, was the bridge they were standing on... And an awfully brittle thing too! "Duuuudes... This means that if I go full power dunking I might just smash through to the bottom floor."
He gave a bit of a look around to see who they were gonna be fighting with... Two folks were from his class, but they were the more soft members... clearly this event was for the ones with more gentle builds in mind. This blonde girl had quite heavy looking gear though! From the tourney, Kirk knew she was more of a ranged bugger! And then there was Farrah, one time foe from the payload, to one time almost drowned victim of her inner tube. "Well, atleast we will probably be beating em whatever the case in the volume department, if you catch my drift, hehe!" The last member was... Well who else! Tetsuko! The steel wielding bro herself! "HEY! You gonna fight the knight guy again?! Or should I try my hand at that this time, hehe?!" It was an offer! Fighting same guy again could be a bit boring! Although, Kirks gaze turned towards the T-rex, Lucas by name, as he raised his hand almost apologetically... "No hard feelings, Dino dude!!" Come to think of it, Jace and him could go the same way again if they wanted to... Nah, Kirk wanted to try something new for a change!
However, there was still the whole problem about going all out sportvise and smashing himself accidentally through the bridge... and since falling off of it was disqualification... *sigh*, To be at the tourney fields again. Just all out bouts. He really felt now how Darren felt way back when. The blonde was already sharing some info on the other members, as Kirk bent his head to the side. "A runner, huh? Well that's kind of a bummer." Kirk looked at Lucas again. Technically he had discovered weakness from him... should he share it? ...Naaaah! Good sportsmanship involved not spreading weaknesses around! If he did that, it wouldn't be a fair game after all! Good sportsmanship and what not! "Although, when it comes down to it, me and Jace were pretty great last time when we had to do this sort of thing! And that was BEFORE I knew how to strut my quirk stuff proper, hehe! I could probably tackle anyone down, and catch things whilst they are falling down! Although even just being a distraction is fine I suppose!" He was pretty good at that with his voice...
Speaking of voices, Farrah was already rhyming up a storm, with Kirk trying to keep up, as she was clearly talking to him... "Ah! The ball carrier strategy! Admittedly, if that's the case, we could just hide you in my pouch and turtle the game through! ...Although that ain't fun..." It was one idea, although it made the risk of him becoming a target for the whole game, and even his stamina and excitement had its limits... "Either that or, I slide somewhere, and you can make a big ol streak of dem bubbles! a BUBBLE WALL or something like that, you get me!?" Last time, those bubbles of hers had been surprisingly effective in deafening people. But, Kirk had an ace in his voice, in that if other folks were deafened, he could probably shout over whatever happens!
Kirk however, proceeded to put his band on his shin... For similar reason as last time he had done this. Simple! His legs were always gonna be moving, so there was no possible chance they could take it off.
"In the end, you can pretty much consider me the all-rounder. If you need someone to grab things, I can do that! If you need someone to restrain or distract somebody else, I can do that! Heck, if you just need me to tell others what to do loudly, I can do that too! Ain't nothing I ain't alright with doing, hehe!" Of course, currently the plan was carrying Farrah around... OH YEAH! "...By the way Farrah, prepare mentally that it's gonna be a bumpy ride... that and there is lots of other stuff in there too so uh..." He pointed at the three different grips, and tapped the pouch awkwardly to show there was stuff in it... A racket, a baseball bat, and a hockey stick. 3 pucks, 3 tennis balls, and 3 baseballs were strapped across his chest... He was ready for anything. or atleast he thought so, and that was half of it being right!

Well, this was the day. Tetsuko felt equal parts crushing anxiety and exhilarating anticipation when it came to the Exhibition Festival's main events. Her time in York had settled her down a bit when it came to many of her uncertainties, particularly regarding her so-called existential crisis regarding her whole reason for being there anyway. Thanks to the help of some of those around her, the Shindou girl had a much better idea of what she wanted to do with herself, of the steps she wanted to take forward. This event would be a chance to take those steps, and Tetsuko was both dreading and hoping for the opportunity to push herself further forward. For in this event, she would put into action one of the most important things she'd realized about herself as of late. That she, Tetsuko Shindou, deeply wanted to fight for others. For those she was grateful for, or for those she believed were counting on her. That alone was enough for her to discard everything else in her head, all the fears and doubts, and focus on pulling through for her team. For the peers she believed in so deeply. It wasn't going to be an easy challenge, of course. They were fighting the 'home team' of the Exhibition Festival, in a complex and nuanced match. Run by SoulFire, interestingly enough. It was pretty cool, but Tetsuko kept her mind on the match. Before the event even started, they were given a rundown of how things were going to play out, Tetsuko mentally noting the important aspects of the arena. The bridge itself was going to be a major factor for her, and let her know right away which Forms were going to be most useful to her. They'd be fighting on uneven ground that would likely be regularly collapsing beneath them, so they'd need to be flexible and prepared. Of course, the weaker sections also provided some opportunities, Tetsuko stowing away any potential plays in her mind. The inclusion of the bits of cloth tied to them was also an interesting addition. For Tetsuko, how she used this particular rule would depend greatly on her own role within the team. From the start, knowing her own strength, Tetsuko figured she'd be best as their vanguard, but it would depend on the team composition. Once she'd absorbed all the information present, Tetsuko would meet up with the rest of her team. It was an interesting lineup they had, to say the least. Tetsuko didn't know much about many of their abilities, though was fairly sure Kirk was one of their strongest fighters. Teamwork would have to come quickly, then. As Kirk lamented the brittleness of the bridge, Tetsuko smiled lightly before reinforcing the importance of being careful. "We should avoid unnecessary damage where possible. While the bridge is almost definitely going to break, we're better off doing it in cases where it's to our advantage rather than on accident." That was obviously easier said than done, so Tetsuko herself swore to be as careful as she could be while swinging multiple swords around. When the sportsman asked whether she'd be fighting Arthur Hale again, Tetsuko would glance back over at the British team for a moment, smiling before looking back. "Much as I'd like another match against that skilled an opponent, I won't claim the right to fight him. We'll play it by what our plan is... Though, chances are, I will have to clash with him in one way or another." Tetsuko would say. It looked like she wasn't the only one who had some kind of history with members of the other team, although she and Arthur had a much more friendly rivalry than Meara and this other individual. "In a match like this, him being a runner could end up working against us. We'll need to keep a good defense if anyone slips past." Set as she was on performing to the benefit of her whole team, Tetsuko was also going to make sure Meara didn't focus too heavily on that rivalry of hers. From what little Tetsuko knew of her, the blonde girl wasn't exactly what anyone would call level-headed. She did, however, offer a promising idea in regards to Jisa. His size made him the natural pick for their clutch player, and Tetsuko nodded along while noting the role she herself could play in it. Kirk also chimed in, pointing out he'd be good at keeping people occupied, with his natural sports skills. Someone was definitely going to get tackled, Tetsuko realized. Farrah offered an idea of her own, which involved teaming up with Kirk. Tetsuko would let them discuss the finer details of that particular plan, as it was mostly contingent on them cooperating together and knowing how to use their Quirks in tandem. Kirk finished off be listing his own skills and seemingly content with teaming up with Farrah. Tetsuko would chime in with her own contributions, as she took her piece of cloth. "Alright, I'll take point. If we need someone to clear a path for Jisa-kun, I think I'm the best choice to do so. I can defend him pretty readily, and it isn't too big of a deal if I lose my cloth. Besides, I'm better off charging in then staying back..." The Shindou girl would smile lightly, tying the cloth around the wrist of her sword hand. A fairly easy place for it to be grabbed, one might assume. In this quiet before the battle, however, Tetsuko felt a strong confidence swelling within her... Likely because the sight of a strong opponent made her recall the enjoyment she felt in a fight like this. "Close range is my territory." Of course, even though they'd made all these plans, they needed proper input and confirmation from the bunny himself. As she took a firm and tall stance next to him, Tetsuko smiled down at the furry lad. "If you're alright with this plan Jisa-kun, I think it's a good one to use. I'll be your bodyguard, and the others can support us and keep them from slipping past. Sound good to you?"Assuming he'd consent to the plan, Tetsuko would begin preparing for the fight ahead. Standing with her feet at shoulders' width apart, Tetsuko would begin breathing purposefully and steadily, rotating her joints in slow, methodical movements. Loosening every part of her body, feeling the iron flow through it, controlling every muscle from her brow to her toes. This meditative technique was key to using all Four Seasons, particularly with the Form she'd be using most today... Habiki Kata : Chotan Ichimi 刃挽之形 : 長短一身 Autumn Form : Both Extremes, One Body

The instructor was incredibly friend and nice. Jisa found himself a bit wide eyed as he listened trying to digest at least as best as his little head could all the information thrusting forth in his direction. His ears were perked and he genuinely seemed curious if not intrigued by the entire concept of this event. He seemed to have stars in his eyes looking at the bridge creation and all that had been put into making this festival truly a marvel and spectacle. But when it came to strategizing, Like a galleon stuck in the harbor the wind wasn't fully in his sails. He seemed quite for the most part a light shiver when the thought of him possible being a role of importance in this. He was used to working on inventions and in practices being the extra wheel one might say. He was fast, agile, not a great combatant but skilled in squeezing in and around obstacles to get to goals. Training for a rescue bunny on the go! But it didn't take much for tiny pressure to build upon his shoulders. His tiny bunny heart that already normally beat at a rapid base was pounding in his chest. The only outward sign he was probably feeling a little skittish was his fur bristling a light bit and taking on a shine as it did so but lightly rougher appearance. Much like a ruffled fluff wild hare. But still he listened all the same trying to get this all together in his head. " So uh... basically you want me to bolt back and forth in openings to get their cloth bands?" He'd ask simply enough, Although if no one was listening directly to him his small voice could easily be talked over. His small stubby fingers of one hand held up though to try and garner some extra attention given his extremly short status compared to the rest. Given he barely stood three foot six inches tall unless you counted his ears of course and then he broke four feet just a little. He reached around his backside as well tying his cloth around his tail. He could maneuver his tail as well and tying it at the base would hopefully make it hard to reach. Given he also had a long tail more like a mixture between a rabbit and dog tail. And being a quick little bun that could hope in several directions as long he had a place to kick off of and bounce from he could keep moving quickly and hopping about for a spring for a good duration of time. " I don't really know how well I can do if I go ahead like that. But... if there's something above or bellow to keep kicking off of I can hope while running quickly. I suppose it seems like a sound plan I suppose... Maybe." Clearing his throat lightly as his small nose wiggled nervously and the whiskers on his face tensed ever so lightly with only mild vibration about them. He felt like a boulder was on his shoulder all the while though. Some of these students were some of the top and high tiered special students of UA. The tension and fear of causing dissapointment or being the lack luster member was present as ever. like a bad itch under his first layer of fur you just couldn't reach. Or like a flea that just wouldn't leave no matter how many flea baths one took. But still all the same with tiny nubby fingered fists held in front of him close to his chest. He'd gulp hoping against hope he could make it work. Hoping he wouldn't be the low man in this so to speak. His apperance hopefully made him look ready and raring to go at least though, Given he was in his costume or what he'd made of it thus far trying to look like the image of someone who could help those in need and also had a disarming appearance as well. ==== Jisa's hare heart and nerves are higher then normal being nervous - and making him breath oddly a tiny bit given rabbits already have high heart rates at times. His cloth is tied around the base of his tail - Also as a small note just for clarity he has a tail like Nanachi's not a full bunny tail just to be clear. so it's tied around his tail near his rear. He tries his best to understand the plan and work a little with them with nervous add in. In costume

Everyone seemed so excited over the event, Jace wished he could share in the enthusiasm. Despite the overwhelming amounts of déjà-vu in being in the same event as last year, against the same school, with the same loud but lovable jock teammate, Jace wasn't ready at all for this. Time had flown by so fast and he didn't feel any different than he had last year. The cold, hard truth was that it wasn't anyone's fault but his own and he was fully aware of that, but it still sucked. A lot. He didn't feel prepared at all, didn't feel as if he'd be able to stand with anyone today, of all days. He looked towards the other team, Jace had experience playing this game, him and Kirk had managed to pull out a win against the Institute after all. But he was certain they'd changed, Kirk certainly had, Jace could tell just by looking at the huge boy currently being uncharacteristically contemplative, honestly wouldn't have minded his usual loud encouragements, it might make him feel better instead of worrying about how things might go. And things this time were just as different as they were the same, facing off against the entire school instead of a small team. Jaces confidence was at an all time low and it showed.
Still, he couldn't help but look up at the one girl he'd faced last time. While Kirk had mostly faced off against the T-Rex boy, something Jace seeing again still had trouble comprehending they'd beat, he'd gone up against his old rider, Melissa Jones the tar shooting girl. Their fight, and how it'd ended had been slightly awkward, she fought against him so hard she'd starting causing self-harm from overusing her quirk, he had pinned her to the ground, almost made her cry, then she thanked him for not letting her push herself so much she caused permanent damage. As such he couldn't couldn't find it in himself to yell out a greeting, or in the blonde girl's case something much ruder, so instead he simply waved to her blushing before suddenly their announcer came up.
Jace was a hero fan boy, so seeing soulfire was a bit of a treat, and even helped calm his nerves, though only momentarily. As Soulfire described the scene, he realized just how different things were this time around. It wasn't gonna go as easily as it had last year. Such a small place...Moving around is gonna be hard and it can collapse at any moment too... Mumbling to himself, he was shaken out of it by everyone else starting talk, mostly about being careful with the bridge as emphasized by the long white haired girl who had an air of calm authority around her. It was an idea the shy ginger could get behind, especially with the idea of Kirk breaking the bridge all by himself, giving his only real friend here a pleading look. But with everything underway planning had now begun, and the ginger boy turned to his team.
And what a team it was. At least he'd like to be thinking that, but in reality Jace was only familiar with Kirk and the strange hat wearing girl who rhymed everything, everyone else was a complete stranger. The blonde girl who'd trash talked the institute boy started first, suggesting using a person named Jisa for a quick win. Jace tilted his head, unsure who Jisa was at first, but as his eyes landed on the...rabbit person(?) it become pretty apparent. Still though, tar girl might make that difficult, and as she explained her rivals powers of a cold flame, he could see a possibility. He squirmed, feeling he should say something when Farrah started. The only other person he knew in passing, though not nearly as much as he did Kirk, she was a little weird but nice enough. But the moment she talked about her quirk all that good will died, replaced by fear, and as Kirk joked about a bubble wall this time he did speak up. NO! His outburst caused him to pause and blush, looking at the ground while he nervously continued. I...I,uhh, when I transform I get enhanced hearing so a loud bang like that would... His sentence drifted off, still blushing over everything. And he only blushed further as Kirk talked about how they'd managed to beat this school last time. And while Jace did catch his silence on how Lucas the T-Rex fought while everyone else had tried given a description of past opponents, he didn't mention it. But he didn't hold himself to the same obligation.
After the strategy was reaffirmed again and the white haired girl became point woman in her case, Jace found himself suddenly relegated to a support role, something he'd never really done before. And as he contemplated this, suddenly he found it was his turn to talk. O-Oh! Uhhh... He hesitated again, blushing as he was caught off guard in his thoughts before managing to pull himself at least semi-together. Uhh well like I said my quirks a transformation, I become part cat with claws and senses, but I can also ignite myself on fire... As for the others uhh... He paused again, before going on. I know that small girl is able to create tar that can cause people stuck and can be ignited by fire, which if that other guy has even if it's cold... Once again he drifted off while suggesting that the other team might actually try to burn the bridge down,or freeze it, Jace wasn't sure on specifics. But surprising even himself he didn't quite stop there. I also might be able to climb the side of the bridge at least while it's wood or stone, so I might be able to take someone off guard if we ever need too. And with that he was done, now trying to tie his old cloth around his shoulder as he had before, and struggling to do so. But whether he's helped or left to bend his arm in extreme ways while using large amounts of teeth, he'd get it tied on.

STORYTELLER Soulfire watched both the teams getting to their assigned spots, veiwing from the tall metal tower she took the small brief time to study each and every student and their behaviour, even without her binoculars she could take a great notice of uncertainty grow among the two teams. ''Hum, it would be pretty bad if they approach this bridge with too much fear in their steps, allow me to give a short inspiring moment!'' She reactivates her megaphone and turns it way high up so that both ends of the bridge could pick up her words.
''Remember future heroes! Even when the situation is dire and hopeless within just your mere sight do not lose track of what matters! Everyday brave people of heroism risk their lives for the sake of protection and safety for those in need! Protect your side not to win the competition, but to achieve something greater! And infeltrate the opponent's side to bring the best out of you!''
The Valiant Insititue were all listening to the small speech, among them practically bursted with joy and excitement, jumping into the middle of her team the spring girl showed a wide smile to her partners. ''I don't know about you guys but that gets me pumping!'' She said with her left hand on her left arm bicep, where her blue band was nicely tied up. ''I've heard UA hasn't been slacking one day, but that only makes it better right?'' The tall prehistoric creature jumped on the spot with his heavy large legs and a toothy grin, Lucas looked especially excited, he was hoping to be facing UA again. ''I CAN'T WAIT! WHERE IS THE STARTING BELL? C'MON LET'S GO!'' ''Relaaax sheesh my lad, it's not like the opponent are going anywhere, no way, I know the blondie lass will definitely try to go for me, so don't bother getting in my way of giving her a piece of humble pie, kay?'' Gregory, the cold calculating attitude of his quickly established his position in this event. ''Just so we're clear, I will be going on ahead first, I can't be accidentally freezing my team now can I?'' ''But of course! I will be going with Lucas! For he and I have been developing a cool plan!'' ''YEAH! THEY WON'T BE EXPECTING THAT!'' Gregory grunts, despite declaring dibs on the frontline he still feels unsure about this unspoken plan. ''Well as long Melissa do her part we won't have to worry, right Mel?.. Mel-. Helloooo??'' She jumps up a bit and gets her focus directed towards Gregory, in which she nods with a sly smirk behind her shocked expression. ''Course~ I just- been thinking on how I should deal with my prey once they get trapped, I know Arthur won't help me on that part cause 'honor' and stuff-'' Arthur quickly goes infront of Melissa with a strict stare, a stare of authority. ''I might not be the official leader anymore, but I got a duty, and striking down trapped enemies are not one of them.'' Melissa gives a shudder and pouts to the side. ''Okay let's get the elephant in the room, Holmes, you might be participating this sort of event for the first time, but don't think we are expecting a third rate effort from you, they don't know your quirk right?''
The sixth person, and the newest of them all, stood behind the circle with his hands behind his back and hand lowered, but giving an idle nod and stare up to Gregory with his droopy tired eyes, his murky green bangs covering most of his face. ''I didn't want to participate y'know..?'' ''But your quirk is gonna be mega helpful! You are our hidden ace!'' Arthur silently cringes from the thoughts and turns away. ''Focus! We are about to start, this Soulfire gal is preparing something up there...''
Soulfire prepared a small box and palces it at the middle of her very small platform where the air was quite the breezy one. ''Uff, I should've picked somewhere less windy! But anyway, here it goes!'' She lights a small matchstick and presses the fiery tip against a small thread, making it lit and quickly activates the box. She sat down the momentthe box began to burst out soaring high flying fireworks into the air rapidly, lighting the sky up with colours and loud bangs, a vewry clear indication that the battle of the bloody bridge was officially begun!
Both of Lucas and Julia's eyes sparkled up with excitement, Julai jumps onto the back of the hulking T-Rex where he began to trample forward at high speed, but near the start of the bridge he did a small jump, adding all of his weight down to his impact where he penetrates through the wooden bridge floor and landing on the stone bridge layer. The huge thud of a nosie echoed through the valley and gave the wooden layyer a shake of a mighty T-Rex. Melissa quickly when steps forward, her hands out and emitting the thick pitch black tar out from her arms, drenching her surrounding and giving the front of their team's Bell a nice thick layer of sticky tar. ''You guys go ahead! I will make sure everything is nice and coated.'' Without much hesitation, Gregory began a long sprint across at least one third of the wooden bridge with his hands turns misty and could. ''I'll give them a surprise..'' He slapped the wrists together he sends out a small cloudy storm out from his palms, taking the shape of flames the frost crystalizes the moisture in the wood and quickly snaps most nearby wood. ''If they can't walk over this then they have to take the route below, where they will get knocked aside, not bad thinking Luke.''

"Ho ho, Kirk, it's no problem; I can hack it! This won't be the first time I've been beaten by your racket," Farrah joked, patting her hip with one palm to show that she remembered their first meeting. That gesture might raise some questions with the rest of the team, namely what had Kirk been doing whacking Farrah in the hips with his racket, but Farrah dismissed any further questions with additional rhyming. "If you can't close me inside, then it's fine if I kneel! I just need something to make me taller, I feel," she added.
As for Tetsuko, there was no doubting her pedigree; everyone knew she was among the most talented quirk users in the school, as well as a martial expert. Heck; Farrah had known it from the moment she met Tetsuko and wrote poetry about her samurai soul! "Ooo, a knight versus a samurai is undoubtedly cool! This is the kind of meetup that makes manga fans drool!" she agreed.
She knelt for a moment to speak to Jisa, hugging one arm around his shoulders as she did. It might seem like a gesture of camaraderie but really... this was just the first time she'd been near Jisa in his hero uniform, and the cuddle bug had bitten her strongly. "Not to worry, my furry friend! Adapting is what heroes do, in the end! If anything goes awry, we can just plan again! We've got all the tools to help us win," she reasoned.
Finally, she realized that among this cast of eye-catching characters, she'd nearly missed Jace. How embarrassing, to nearly make the same mistake she'd made back at the pool party. And it was actually a pretty good thing he spoke up! "Wah wah wah?!" she began, then cleared her throat and lowered her voice, worrying she was already messing with the boy's ears. "What a surprise! Then I think I'd better use my power some other way, guys," she reasoned. What a difficult dilemma! If she couldn't use her quirk for a big boom, the only way left to use it would be as a minor distraction or perhaps something tricky involving her impersonations... those could only do so much, considering Slinkie ought to know her capabilities in that regard.
... But Slinkie didn't know about Jace's hearing weakness... and she did know that the bubbles were capable of large noise explosions... so it should still be possible to fake out the other team pretty thoroughly before they caught on that none of her bubbles were making big noises. "Alright, okay, keep this plan on the down-low. My noisy bubbles are going to be a no-show! But the other team won't know that, he he he, so the ruse will still be effective, you see? My bubbles can be targets to lure their attacks or discouragement from ever showing their backs, should they receive a painful surprise to the ears! But there won't be anything but my sweet, soft voice to hear!"
There was one more important point to address before she faced the enemy team. She looked to Jace seriously, then steepled her hands. "Our team has a boy that's part bunny and a boy that's part cat? This is a seriously cuddly team, at that! Mwehehehe... fu fu fu fu... I may need cuddling time afterward with both of you," she thought wiggling her fingers like a lecherous old man at the thought of patting cute animal boys.
Now, on to the enemy team. They all sounded just as energetic... well, with the exception of one of them. Every team needed its shy one, after all! Ever the optimist, she chose to interpret him as shy rather than anti-social. That one guy Meara had a death-stare on seemed to be just as eager to knock her down a peg. Truth is, other than Slinkie and the others who'd been briefly described to her, they were mostly mysteries to her in terms of quirk minutiae and personalities. In an odd twist, she'd just have to hope that she could use the fact that they did know her quirk to her advantage. Already, she was forced to adapt to a changing situation... the hero life was never promised to be easy.
And on that note, things got much, much more complicated very quickly. Within seconds, the enemy team had used some strange tar to protect their bell, then started wrecking the bridge that was their game area. Farrah had said right away that she didn't plan to burrow, since the more enclosed the space, the harder for her to use her quirk at long range... but Kirk and she might be forced to go that way just to make sure that the enemy didn't get too far in using that makeshift tunnel.
Alright... Hopefully Slinkie had placed the seeds of fear within the enemy team. As soon as Kirk opened his pouch for her, she'd jump in, sitting on the lip of it as though she was riding in a seat. She would then cup her mouth into an "O" shape and breath out a line of five bubbles... They contained the words "have" "a" "good" "game" gents", at a whispered volume, which put very little strain on Farrah's throat. The important part: if her ruse was effective, the other team would see these as a "barrier" blocking the way. She'd deploy them wherever Kirk wasn't... that would encourage the enemies into a match with him, rather than trying to go around.
Of course, whether that horizontal barrier of bubbles discouraged the way across the wood bridge, the stone bridge, or an even deeper segment would depend on where Kirk guided her. In this match, she was sacrificing a bit of her innate mobility for the sake of better teamwork with him and the height elevation he gave.

Merea watched as she saw Farrah talk to Kirk about her plan to use the potential risk of her quirk to act as a deterrent without actually using it. Granted Meara didn’t completely agree with that idea, she understood that she was doing it to not hurt Jace with her quirk because he had super sensitive hearing, but still. “That’s awfully nice of ya Farrah, but if it comes to it, don’t hold back yer quirk’s power. Because they’re not going ta, I promise you that.” She said as she looked down the bridge where no doubt their opposition had begun to move out. “Jase, I’m sorry if it gets too loud fer ya mate, but I’m not an especially quiet fighter. So I’m gonna apologize in advance.” She said, Looking at the smaller boy.
She turned back to the bridge and began to walk down the wooden portion of it. She could see the faint images of a familiar light blue flame. “Ah setting fire to the place already Carmichael?” She said to herself, chuckling lightly. “Well it’s a good plan. But I wonder if yer still not gonna be one to play nice with yer teammates.” She said quietly to herself. She stood there for a moment as she thought about her next move.
“Ok Jisa, Tetsu, imma make a path fer us. Once that’s done you can take the lead Tetsu I’ll take up the rear and provide backup fer you two.” Meara said back to her two partners. “Good luck Everyone! Let’s show these bastards who the superior school really is!” She called out. With that the Irish lass took aim at the wooden planks a few meters in front of her and began firing a volley of energy blasts at the aforementioned planks. The spheres easily destroyed the thick wooden planks, sending splinters and small chunks of wood flying. Once the dust settled there was a decent sized hole in the bridge. “Down the rabbit hole we go.” she said as she jumped down to the lower stone level. Luckily for Meara there was part of the cliff wall that allowed her to slow her descent as she dropped down onto the stone walkway of the second bridge. “That would have sucked if I had dropped straight down.” She said as she did a quick scan of the area. “Hey you two! Be careful on the way down! It’s about a 10 meter drop!” she called out to Jisa and Tetsuko. “If you don’t need help down I’m gonna open up another hole down to the next level and wait fer you down here and we can decide how to proceed.” She called out again. With that Meara turned her attention back to the stone walkway and began to start blasting another hole in the floor for them to potentially go through if that was what they decided to do. The stone was a tad tougher to get through but Meara managed to make a smaller hole that lead down to the copper bridge. With that Meara patiently waited for the other two and anyone else that was gonna follow them to get down there.

Kirk nodded in agreement to a lot of the stuff. Of course, there was minor consideration if there should be a dedicated leader for the bunch. Kirk wondered for a bit... he was the leader of the sports club still. But what he had learned over there, is that commanding too harshly usually made folks get shaky. And taking that Jisa and Jace were both the sort of people who could be very very shaky if they got shouting, it was probably for the best to keep it to 'calling shots'. With them probably going to be scattered across the bridges, it was better that way. Looking at the opposing team though, there was a guy sitting outside of the general gang... Curious. The good ol' lone wolf type?
However, with the match starting, the immediate trashing of wood under the huge dinosaur was evident in the distance. "Man, I ain't sure if that was an accident, or a planned move!" Poor guy was kind of foot heavy... that and it looked like this time the tar lady wasn't on the guy, instead sticking around the back. "Well then, hop on rapping dudette!" With that, he opened his pouch, letting Farrah in it... Only for her to stand on top of it like an awkward platform. "You sure you can keep on that way? I'll tell ya, gonna be an even BOUNCIER ride!" In this case however, he kept his own thought in his head: Trust in your teammate to know what they are doing!
With Meara putting down a hole and going it down it herself, it was pretty clear how the team split was gonna be... "Gonna keep these lads busy on the top side, So you guys can go down. That, or I'll drop em down FOR ya!" That seemed like a plan! With Kirk running straight forward on the wooden bridge, the wood echoing his steps, He could see up front that somebody was making a literal firewall. "Hmmm..." Fire naturally would make the wood even more brittle... And if the dinosaur and the lady had fallen down already behind them, the hole had to be quite big.
Kirk got an idea. "Duck a bit will ya? and hold on tight. Gonna be heck of a lot of splinters..." he told Farrah, as he grabbed his hockey stick. It was very thick, almost like a bat with a natural curve at the end. As he ran, and Farrahs bubbles flowed forward, Kirk instead ran to the side of the flaming part of the bridge, and lifted his hockey stick high up into the air... "Aaaaaaand, GOAL SHOT!" He swung full force against the bridge, as he took a step back, sending a quite sizeable shockwave of wooden shrapnel, hopefully destroying the burning part of the bridge and getting a mild attack off towards Holmes and Gregory atleast! Heck, with the big hole on their side of the bridge, and now this other one in front of them, the rest of that side might get awfully wobbly! Especially with heavy armor like arthurs!
Either way, he sheathed his stick into his pouch, pulling out his classic racket and tennis ball instead... "Now Farrah, Let em have it! I'm gonna handle the dodging!" With that, he threw a ball in the air, and launched it towards gregory, to see what would happen... This guy didn't really look familiar at all to him...

Tetsuko had quickly decided on her own role in the team, but in order for her to fulfill it, she had to make sure her teammates were on board. The one she was most worried about was Jisa, the small lad who they were counting on for a not insignificant chunk of their strategy. If he couldn't complete his role, they'd have to adapt and improvise, which might be difficult in the heat of battle. Ergo, it was vital that they gave Jisa as good a chance as possible of getting to the other side! The swordswoman heard his concerns, nodding along and noticing how uneasy he was. "All you have to do is get to the other side and ring the bell while taking care of your own cloth. Consider me your bodyguard. Use whatever you need to get past, I'll help however I can. If it means losing my own cloth, that's fine." Hence why she had put it in such a dangerous position. By making herself a tempting target, Tetsuko could lure in and defeat other opponents without affecting her ability to complete her own role. All she had to do was protect this bunny. "Don't worry, I'll protect you. I can at least do that much." The Shindou girl would reassure, just before she went into her meditative stance. Their team finished all preparation, the last member making his own skills known. It looked like they had a fair distribution of teammates at this point, all having their own roles. Hopefully, they'd be able to get things done with these allocations... The match started, indicated by the fury of fireworks that began their festivities. Tetsuko immediately noted the movements of the the other time, the T-Rex and another girl descending to the next level. Well, that was going to be a fun opponent. Fortunately, Tetsuko had gotten a bit of experience in fighting non-humanoid opponents. Before she could even suggest they follow the same route and get to the lower level, Meara was blasting them a path down. "Let me know if you need a hand down, Jisa." Tetsuko would insist, following Meara down to the stone level. The Shindou girl would jump straight down, carrying Jisa if needed, and landed strongly by armoring her knees and feet and rolling on impact. Once all three of them were down, Tetsuko noted Meara blasting a hole down to the stone level, but shook her head and looked forward. "Let's not play all our cards at once... We'll drop down a level when we need, but for now let's head forward on the Stone Bridge. Jisa-san, you can head down if you wish, but I'll fight here. Meara-san, keep up the backup. Send some shots to those above us too, they'll need it as well!" After all, there was T-Rex headed right this way, and Tetsuko didn't want to force the others to be the ones to deal with it!
"I've never fought a dinosaur before... This should be a good experience. Let me show you my gratitude for it!"
Tetsuko immediately rushed forward towards her opponents, iron flowing out of both her arms rapidly. In her left arm, the iron molded itself into what looked like a compact crossbow, though the bow limbs were longer than most. It was the Teppo-Yumi, the Japanese crossbow! Forming the string and three blunt bolts in it at once, the Shindou girl raised the weapon and fired at the T-Rex's head. Heki-Ryū Kyūjutsu: Sandōji Hanare 韜之形弓術 : 三同時 離れ Heki Style Archery : Threefold Release
In her right hand, a sword formed as she closed the distance. A regular Japanese katana, a blade Tetsuko had come to call 'Yukifuri', meaning 'snowfall'. Her signature sword, ready to be brandished against this dangerous opponent! words: 000 • tags: you • notes: stuff

Jisa gulped as everyone began to move, Plans put in action and everyone for the most part seeming to have their own pacific roles to play... He felt a small lump in his throat that slowly eased its way into the pit of his stomach like a heavy rock of worry and anxious fear settling there gnawing at his insides. He did his best to ignore it as best as one could but its ever growing presence would have a small weight bearing down on his shoulders and mind all the while as his nerves sometimes had trouble in moments like these.
"I'll try and keep close for now, I'm not that strong in attacks just have my little claws on my little fingers. So I'll try and run quickly with you until I see the best chance to bolt if you can guard me as you said! I'll try and leap to the upper support areas and move quickly hopefully out of their reach...Just off to the side running on the supports and jumping about them should make me harder to catch as well." He'd say quickly explaining and working with Tetsu as well trying to figure out the best way to go and in the end his rabbit like instincts just saying bolt and run. Even if the predators for him in a sense were also in that direction so was escape! or victory more so in the form of a bell.
Leaping down to the stone level of the bridge he'd move with agile leaps kicking off a few points of the bridge before rolling in a ball fuzz and fur to take the drop with a softened recoil. Rolling a couple times and quickly though he'd attempt to rise and move onto the next stage of needed movement.
When she was ready he'd begin moving, Bolting quickly forward and before long leaping off to the side lightly and intending to be at a hard to reach while also risky location of the side supports to the bridge. Moving quickly one step after another not moving at his full speed just yet. Biding his time waiting to see what all would be ahead of them and waiting for the best chance to go full burn! Not moving too far forward for now as they moved their way down to stone level. He stopped after short bit though crouching perched on one of the side supports slightly near the edge. Waiting to see what the next best source of action would be.
--- tldr -sticks with Tetsu and Meara -Jisa moves to stone level using his quick leaps and speed to bounce around and downward taking recoil in a soft fuzzy roll. -Moves forward a bit and perches off on the side supports of the bridge to try and get a idea of what to do next and what lays ahead.

Jace watched as Farrah gave her usual performance when he spoke up about his hearing sensitivities. She actually looked rather surprised when he mentioned his hearing, letting out multiple melodramatic gasps. At this point the ginger boy was simply running on the assumption that Farrah dramatized everything she did, the sensitive boy thankfully not realizing that the reason for her surprised remarks weren't just from his hyper hearing but she in fact had missed him entirely during the initial meeting. Thus managing to avoid five minutes of whining, Jace would then end up being the surprised one when Farrah actually altered the plan for him, revealing a sneaky side to her as he pointed out she could make her bubbles filled with whispers, or something like that at least. Honestly, Jace was still having some trouble actually conceptualizing her quirk, but he at least was understanding the differences in what it could do. Though he would flinch at Meara warning Farrah on holding back, looking at the floor dejectedly. He wasn't trying to hold back the team with his own weakness, he hadn't even meant to outburst the way he had, it all just sorta happened.
But thankfully it would be Farrah to help him out of his slump, doing so in a way only she could, giving a outright dirty look and hand gestures as she talked about cuddling with Jace that caused his expression to go from forlorn to a mix of terror and disturbedness that for anyone less emotionally volatile it'd would have caused whiplash. The ginger boys face became just as red as his hair, before he instinctually stepped behind Kirk as if Farrah were likely to try and sneak in some pre-fight cuddles right at that moment. And she was having these thoughts when he wasn't even transformed yet! M-My changes aren't even that severe! I-I don't even really grow any fur except when I'm on fire!...
But talks of cuddling a very unconsenting cat would have to wait, as the fight was now on. Except there was one little problem. Jace hadn't really been given any direction on where to go, and he'd made no real suggestions, not having wanted to assume some type of leadership position or speak up in general. So as everyone moved out, for a moment Jace simply stood there, watching everyone start up while he was left with a looming sense of terror. He didn't even know what to shout out or ask, watching the blonde girl blast a hole in the wooden bridge, and her, the white haired girl, and Jisa the bunny all jump down. At least he was aware of the general plan, and as he watched Kirk and Farrah charge across the tar field, Jace had a feeling that his fire would be just as dangerous to his allies as they would the enemies in such a setting. Besides the plan was protect Jisa, so that's what he'd do, and he'd jump down the wooden bridge with the rest.
Thankfully his gymnastic training and general agileness meant that sticking the land for a ten meter drop was easy, but then he'd be met sith an interesting choice. Across from him on the bridge was Lucas, the white haired Tetsuko heading right for him. Jace's last battle against Lucas had ended with him mostly losing, grimacing as he remembered the dino boy managing to be quick enough to grab him. But right next to the blonde girl was another hole, leading down to the bronze part of the bridge. And suddenly, Jace knew what he could do for the team. His transformation was nothing dramatic, Meara would watch his ears grow out and gain some fluff as his claws became noticeably longer and sharper, and if she was quick eyed enough might see a fang or two as well as he opened his mouth. And of course, to top everything off, the tail. Still, that was the extent of his transformation, and he'd look at the blonde girl as he approached the hole. T-Thanks! Also...Ummm...Aim for his legs.. While Kirk had witheld that tidbit of info, Jace did not have the same reservation.
And then he'd hop off, but instead of actually hopping down to the copper bridge, he'd reach out and grab the holes edge and swing towards the bottom of the stone bridge, before trying to grab on with his claws. If he did then he'd simply travel along the bottom of the bridge, keeping track of everyone with his now enhanced sense of smell. Thankfully, he knew their general positions, with Tetsuko in the lead, Jisa just behind, and Meara at the back of the pack so he was able to at least keep track of everyone before setting off, running on all fours on the underside of the bridge. Both Tetsuko and Jisa were faster than he was, so he wasn't likely to immediately catch up, but that wasn't likely to be an issue for long given who was blocking their way. Jace would have no real way of knowing exactly what was happening, but with his hearing and smell he was hoping he'd be able to keep track of things and know when the opportunity to act comes.

STORYTELLER Things finally began to get into motion, the two teams all quickly replied with quick decision making and even faster destruction. Truly with this bunch of heroes the wooden bridge would not withstand all the destructive forces happening all over it's long distance. Gregory engulfed practically the entire middle section of his blue frosting flames, weakening the wood to the point of being way too fragile to withstand most types of weighting, including those moving across of it. For both Kirk and Farrah there was a creaking snap of wood happening from every corner, like a hidden line of dominos the bridge cracks one place after another, and then began to move quite vivdly from side to side as Meara blasts quite the large hole. But with no place to run other than forward and back one could only continue to fight at the bridge. Gregory raising his hand up from the sudden force of a shockwave being shoved behind his wave of fire. Grunting from the amount of shrapnel scrapping at his hands, Holmes far enought o not be affected, and Arthur not even flinching due to his solid set of armour. Gregory sees Kirk the muscle lad and the ... french pop-artist? Gregory hardly could tell their plan other than the bubbles filling the space around the mid section of the bridge. ''Humm, where did blondie go? Surely she's on the bridge by now, tsk! I'll burn-freeze these two first then.'' Arthur however, saw the very faimilar motion of a strike being performed by Kirk. Arthur as heroic and instinctive one can be, unsheathes his left bonesword out inbetween two pieces of the armour before pushing Gregory aside and clashing against the soaring ball. With a well-timed swing Arthur destroys the wall with a true slice, halting the ball from hitting him or Gregory. ''You fool! Stay sharp and don't get hit! We can't even reach them for the wood between them and us are falling apart!'' Arthur quickly got commanding and held his sword prepared. ''Your 'target' might aswell be beneath us, you and holmes go down!'' Gregory couldn't help but to give Arthur a mean one eye glare, rubbing his wrists to ease the scrapping from the shrapnels. ''Oh be quiet, it's not like they are going to get across either, but won't Holmes be the perfect counter to those two?!'' Gregory clearly against the idea, but it was rare of Arthur to spit out baseless tactics, which Gregory hated the most about the knightly guy. ''Gah fine, Lucas must be crashing against her if it happens below us, I'll .. swing by.''
Gregory steps back, arppoaching Holmes who was kinda just standing around, not doing a whole lot, just following and awaiting for the next line of demands, not that he had much choice to begin with, everyone on his team seems to be rather bossy towards him. ''Holmes! This bridge is about to fall, and last thing I want you to be is on here to take unecessary damage, let's head down, now!'' Holmes sighs and idly pops a few of his knuckles with his attention directed downward at the wooden floor, pointing his right palm down to it. ''Here we go then..'' He says while adjusting the cloth on his left arm.
Soulfire watched from above with a gleefull smile and taps her chin, wondering if the wood bridge might have been a tad bit too weak. ''Sheesh, at this rate there might be only the steel bridge left in matter of minutes!''
Back down to the stone bridge the large clash began, Julia and Lucas had reached to the halfway point, the giant dino boy stomping the stone bridge that expectedly starts to rumble due to the shakiness from the heavy footsteps. Lucas had a rather joyish sprint, thinking him and Julia together was an unstoppable duo! Then in the small distance the opponent was confirmed in sight of his small pair of sharp yellow eyes. Meara had jumped down after such a giant hole was created, and the second hole gave Lucas the idea that they would go even further down.
''Juliaaaaa!'' ''Yeeeeeah! What is it Lukey?'' ''They are definitely gonna try to manevour us! They'll reach the copper bridge!'' ''Whuaaat?! But even so they are certainly not gonna expect the tar piling up behind us! Let's take down as many as we can!'' ''YEEEAAAH!'' And just like that he let's out a giant mighty roar that could be heard from every bridge, so loud even the average human would jump up in fright, Julia however was very much used to the roar and just rode at Lucas' head like a champ! They both charges forward, Tetsuko coming into play with her unexpected crossbow! Lucas lowers his head down to take the shots, but darn dinosaurs and their awfully thick scales! It made him slow down, but not anything you couldn't bite through. ''GAAAH! That HUUUURTS!'' ''C-calm down buddy! Look! We got someone trynna sneak around!'' Julia kept her eyes close to all four that was on the bridge, specially eyeing at the smallest of them all, because if she let her sight off from them it's very likely she'll lose track! But also seeing the fire blazing transformation happening in the background and sinking into the hole on the stone bridge made her alarmed. ''Eeeeh! We can't cover two bridges! I'll get help! Just go ham on this bridge!'' ''OKAY!'' Lucas answered enthusiastically, stomping about and giving the bridge a shape before pulling a powerful 360 with his long powerful tail, making it crash through at least three support pillars between the wood and stone bridge until reaching at Tetsuko's side, attempting to strike her against her side. Juali hops off behind Lucas and was just about to shot her arm up to reach the wood bridge before something comes down crashing! Both Holmes and Gregory lands on the stone bridge, with Holmes shaking his right hand pained.
''Ow ow..!'' ''Whoa, look at this party!'' Gregory comments before seeing Julia a bit surprised infront of him. ''Great timing! Look, we got someone creeping below us! And we got three infront of us right now!'' Gregory gives a small smirk, seeing Meara between the dino legs from the small distance. ''There you are blondie! Holmes! Mind covering below?'' Holmes shrugs and plants his palm down at the stone floor, and a sudden gust appearing around his arm he suddenly pulverizes right through the floor, his body appearing right infront of Jace who was likely still crawling on the underside of the bridge, unless the stomping and mighty roars of Lucas had given him a fright!
