With Truth bomb one out of the way, it was finally time to progress onto Truth bomb number 3. You read that right. Number 3. It seemed like Thunder just had an arsenal of people who were his kids and just didn't know it. Did he need to tell them and shatter their childhood? No not really, but why the hell NOT do it? They were his brats anyways right? Two of which should have returned to him in the first place, but due to certain circumstances had been kept away from his reach until then. It was a pain, but he planned on rectifying this now. He was going to bring those children in. They could chose not to be a part of his clan of course, but at least he would know where they were, and control how much they knew both to keep them, and himself safe.
Thundershock was sitting in an elaborate waiting room hidden at the very back of the old Arcade room located in Kabuchiko, holding his phone in hand and typing out a message to Miku. Right as he finished typing it, he would delete it, and start it over, and over, and over again. How did he not make this sound like the Kobayashi Clan's leader was calling on a little girl. Honestly, no matter how he put this, it would no doubt terrify the girl. Finally, he settled on something brief.
<"There's a new shipment of seeds you need to pick up today. They rot quickly, meet me at the Arcade within the hour.">
He would send to her and hit the power button to shut down the screen. He wasn't nervous to tell her that they were related... again this wasn't exactly something he was new at... but there was something that bothered him. Miku was the daughter of a woman he had genuinely cared for. Sure he'd sent her away just like the rest of the women he had slept with and made this deal with but she was different. He'd never cared for anyone else in his life and he didn't know how to treat those feelings. What would it be like to be reunited with her daughter? With their daughter? Sure he'd been around Miku before but this time would feel different.
What were the odds that he literally ran into her on the streets?

Miku was at the shopping district, she saved up some money and wanted to buy a game she really really wanted. Miku picked up her new game and went to the cash register to pay it. But then, she heard the phone. Miku quickly grabbed it and saw HIS message. Miku quckly typed back a "Yes, Sir", and then she put the phone back and started running. Of course she had to toss the game back before she ran out the door. She didnt wanna steal the game, she was a future hero after all. Needed to be an example of good.
She rushed to the meeting place where he was at. She couldnt let the evil yakuza lord waiting. Oh god what was she thinking. How did she get involved in this mess. Miku shook her head as she ran and took a deep breath. She needed to do this. Get on his good side and then WHAMMO, help Hachi get the better of him and get him arrested. Still... betayal wasnt her think, she wasnt Judas. No matter how hard G taught her, it just wasnt in her.
Soon, Miku arrived to the arcade place. She took to regain her breath, she ran like mad
"Ok. Im here. Ran like mad. Im here at the arcade. Now, is he here? He said to meet him at the arcade. Not the secret place" Miku thought to herself as she straightened herself out and looked around

Whenever Miku walked into the Arcade, a few of the teens there would glance over as the bell rang. Some just immediately alarmed by the bell while others just passively glanced at who it was that entered. No one did anything to go towards Miku however as they all just went on with their business. As Miku approached the only employee in the place though, the older boy would smile as he saw the blond.
"Welcome back Hajimari-san. I don't have your delivery today, if you walk around back here, my lord is waiting for you."
The boy said politely, simply lifting up a hand to show Miku which way to go. He couldn't leave with her, as that would look strangely suspicious to anyone looking in.
As Miku would make her way down that hallway, she would find a single door that was left slightly ajar. Peeking in or opening it would reveal Thundershock sitting comfortably in a lavish looking sofa with a cup of coffee in his hands. To his left, his cellphone rested on the arm of the sofa, and his eyes would dart between the door, and the phone. As soon as miku would walk in however, he would put his coffee down next to a large envelop on the coffee table in front of him and stand up.
"Miku, you wasted no time in meeting me. I appreciate the punctuality. Come, sit with me there are a few things we need to talk about that isn't so plant based as my message indicated."
He stated as he tried to keep up a friendly tone in his voice. The last thing he wanted to do was scare her off. Miku was his and he wasn't likely to let her go now that he knew.
When he first spotted Miku come in, he felt his heart beat just a tad bit faster... now that he thought back... They really did look alike didn't they... she really was her spitting image, how had he not seen it before? Maybe that was why he tested her DNA in the first place, and not simply to "ensure no familial relation" as he first thought...

She arrived to the arcade, she was focused on the business part, thus she didnt notice that some teens glanced at her and such. She instead approached an employee of this.... establishment. If one could even call it that. The person smiled and welcomed her, but he notified her that he had no delivery, which set off some alarms for Miku. What if this was a kidnapping. Well, Miku was alert and ready for anything.
The employee was polite sure. But thats how they get ya. The person showed Miku where to go and Miku nodded, thus when it was time to go, she went onward and followed his directions. Miku took a deep breath as she went ahead, she went down the hallway and found a single door was was creepily and slightly ajar. She slowly and carefully opened it to see Thundershock himself, living it up in the rich criminal life, sitting all calm and comfy is his lavish sofa and a cup that was probably filled with the tears of his victims. His eyes soon darted to her and he put down the cup next to an envelope. And then he stood up
Thus he began to talk. Well... its good he appreciated the punctuality. That was good. But... still... its weird, why would the yakuza man wanna be involved with some average joe student. She is the mediocre one, she's not a powerhouse or notable by any means, she's just so bland. Well... he wanted her to sit, so she did. Walked over and sat where he told her. Apparently he wanted to talk about something
"Oh?... umm.... something wrong?" Miku asked, if its not plant based, then it must be that something happened, circumstances changed and he probably doesnt wanna be involved with a hero.... or kidnapping is imminent. Well... worst case scenario she bites him hard and gtfo's.
But still, Miku didnt know what to expect because the way he addressed her sounded strangely friendly. Miku was cautious during this tho. She didnt let that caution or fear or worry, show on her face. Instead, what she showed was confusion mixed with her standard shyness.

Thundershock sat back down on the sofa across from Miku, leaning forward now so that he was resting his forearms on his legs. He'd reach forward for the envelop on the table then slide it across to Miku before sitting back up straight. He didn't say a single word until Miku picked up that envelop and opened it.
Inside she would find a few pages of what looked to be a Genetics report with her name, face and all of her information on it. Below that would be what looked to Miku like a bunch of Gibebrish numbers, comparing a child (Miku), to an "alleged father" Takumi Kobayashi. The results were damn near identical, and the report stating that the likelihood that the tested parent was the childs father was 99% accurate.
"When we last met, I had your DNA tested. No malicious intent, I only wanted to be sure there would be no relation between the two of us. This would prove the fact that my quirk actually awoke a new quirk inside of you. Although, when that result came back... it proved my theory false. The first page is comparing your DNA to my own, and the second, is comparing it to a Lilly Lafleur. She would be your biological mother.
Correct me if I'm wrong or overstepping, but G Is your adopted father, yes? Have you ever asked him how he got his hands on you?"
He asked Miku with a bit of spite to his words when mentioning G. It would be the first time he admitted to her that he knew everything about her, including the fact that a man he despised was housing his daughter.

An envelope was slid across the table. Miku took it as a sign to pick it up. Which she did. She carefully opened it and saw.... absolutely nothing. No no, thats not true, there IS some stuff there. Her name, face and info things. But its...ITS JUST SCRIBBELS!!! She looked further on and understood Lily Lafleur and a Takumi Kobayashi... whoever those were.
Thunder then spoke that he tested her DNA. And compared his DNA with her own. And then with a woman that is her supposed biological mother. Miku put the envelope on the table. She opened her mouth to speak, believeing Thunder just played a joke on her, a prank. But then he continued and spoke more, specifically about G. She could hear the spite in his words and the 'name' of her adoptive dad made Miku cringe with the way Thunder said it. Which made her also close her mouth and completely freeze for a moment. But she regained her composure and spoke, very carefuly.... VERY
"He is. And well... while I havent really ask him.... hmm.... how do I say this. Well, when he first got me, he said he was my dads friend and said he was gonna take care of me temporary. I believed that, because I was real young. And well... I dunno... I stopped thinking and hoping my parents would return or wake up. But... before I went to UA, he did tell me how he really got his hands on me. Although.... I am curious to hear your story, sir." she said and sat back and crossed her arms "How do you think he got his hands on me?" she asked as she was curious to hear Thunders point of view, G told Miku his story, his version which was most likely the truth since, he was friggin there in the first place. But Thunder?.... he wasnt there, she'd remember that. So why does he think he knows what happened. What lie would he say?

Minus reaction wasn't exactly the one he had expected. She froze up and began to speak to him in an even more, forced polite tone. He wasn't sure what he had expected but this was just... weird. Thunder didn't move from his position however, his eyes still locked on her own as he allowed her to speak freely and pose her question without interruption. She wanted to know what he thought happened. Thunder gave a light shrug of his shoulders as he finally broke eye contact for a moment as he sat back more comfortably on the sofa.
"If you want specifics, unfortunately I can't provide them. You were living with your mother and her partner at the time, so I can't claim to have been there myself. I wasnt informed of what happened until hours after the fact. Police were already swarming the scene, and you were nowhere to be found. I might have sent you away to live with your mother, but that didn't mean I did not care about you.
I would have come after you immediately if we had found out where you had been taken, but as the police arrived on scene first, we had no tracks to follow... and so you dissapeared. "
He explained simply, not able to provide her with much more then that. He really wasn't lying about any of this, though he could only fathom the skepticism from the girl. To try and appease her he made a motion back towards the envelop she was holding.
"I understand this is by far the easiest thing to accept, so I'm willing to do what must be done to prove that none of this is a lie, or some ruse to get you to trust me. You can have the testing done again wherever you want if you wish, I want get involved in any way. But know I'm not saying or doing any of this to hurt you. I want what best for my kin, and if you being happy means you stay where you are... then so be it. I despise the idea of you being anywhere near him... but circumstances as they are... I'll accept it for the time being. I do wish you would come back to me though, I'd like to show you more of your family."
He hoped that by offering a sort of peace treaty between himself and G would help convince Miku of his sincerity. But only time would tell if and when Miku believed him.

She was speechless for a moment, and maybe even believing it, until she remembered what happened that one time "Oh... umm... well" she placed the envelope back on the table and slid it back to Thunder. "I have to say, I almost believed you there for a moment. I'm... flattered, but just because we're blonde doesnt mean we're related." she glanced at the envelope for a second before looking back to Thunder "And Im sure even if I tested this elsewhere, the results would be whatever you wanted it to be"Maybe its best she elaborate what she means "Truth be told, you werent the first person to pretend to be my parent" she said and leaned back in her seat "There was this creepy woman calling herself Veronica, who also knew stuff she shouldnt know about me. But she revealed to me that someone has been leaking info out of UA. But her mistake was saying that when I had a clearly small number of interactions. Thus I deduced that the culprit was a douche, pardon my french, named Nick. He was a douche, and people thought I was crazy when I say he was evil. Anyway, thats beside the point. The point is, just because we coincidentally maybe kinda vaguely look alike doesnt mean we'r-" she trailed off and sorta stopped as she kinda realized something Blonde hair, coincidence, lightning, Nick. Thats it! Maybe thats the key! Lightning Bug was the key. Hachi said that Lightning Bug had a child. Was it a son? Whoever it was, was either missing or dead. But... maybe... what if. Nah... it couldnt be

"You're right, I'm not claiming you as my child simply because you have blond hair. While it's a rare gene here in Japan, it's not as if the Japanese only fuck among themselves."
Thundershock said a little too crudely, thinking back to his own father and the events that led to his own birth. He'd mentally grumble as he tried to shake the image of his parent's free of his mind as the thought of them only infuriated him. A mother than abandoned him, and a father that left him nothing. He'd finally sigh as he brought his hand to his chin, listening to Miku's story and smirking, bursting out into laughter as Miku called Nick a douche, and to pardon her french.
"You have no idea, how amusing that speech was! Pardon your french? You're about 2/3 French! As for Nick, well you aren't wrong there! The brat's definitely a douche! a useful and powerful douche."
He stated as he kept the reveal of Nick being her half brother for a little bit later. She already didn't fully believe him, no need to throw more at her just yet. Besides, he was having a good laugh at the situation which slowly started to die down whenever Miku cut herself off mid sentence, falling into a silence that told him the information was really sinking in and making sense to her. However... the next words out of her mouth made him frown, and you could immediately tell that Thundershock was on edge. His body tensed and he looked towards the open door before looking back towards Miku, a shadow cast over his face as he looked at her very intensely.
"Who told you that name? Who told you to ask me that?"
He immediately demanded, not yet revealing to her the fact that Lightning Bug was his mother. Sure she was a hero over in France, but here in Japan? No one had the time of day to think about her or even consider her in any way. He hadn't told a single soul who his mother was, and his father wouldn't readily admit to it either... and yet here was his own daughter asking him about her...
Who else knew...

She called Nick a douche, because thats what he was. And to that Thunder laughed. Heh, she also felt like laughing. Speaking of laughing, she sure was glad Thunder laughed. That meant things were gucci and she was on his good side. Thunder spoke, confirming her speech was amusing. And then the pardon her french part. Apparently she's 2/3 French? ... Ehhhhh. But the latter part is more important. He knew Nick. That had to be a clue.
And thats when Hachi's words sank in. Nick. Coincidence. Lightning. Hachi's words echoed in Miku's head.
"I have reasons to suspect that you are related, either by sharing a distant relative...or more likely...sharing a father. A father whom..." her voice quieted, hesitation growing as she tried, again, to say the words aloud that she had spinning around in her mind over and over again so many times. It felt so much more real, so much harsher, saying it rather than thinking it "...whom I believe to be the son of my prior mentor; the ex-vigilante Lightning Bug."
It was a stupid crackpot theory if you ask her. But considering Thunder knew Nick. And apparently Nick also has lightning. And then a bug thing. Miku had to ask. If Thunder knew who Lightning Bug was. Then Miku really was his kid. Why? Because according to Miku, that seemed like a random and trivial and most of all, an obscure fact. If Thunder knew it. Then that means he was the missing link.
But then, things seemingly turned a 180 degrees, as Thunder went from jovial to pretty fucking pissed. So he asked her who told her the name and who told him to ask him that.
His angry gaze kind of scared her and put her on edge as she frightingly tells him "No one told me to ask you that! I did so by my own volition! I just wanted to confirm or disprove a crazy theory I heard!"

Miku was silent the whole time, and rightfully became scared whenever thunders mood turned foul. The Kobayashi Lords eyes, while dark, where searching. Miku wasn't followed, that much he was sure about... but this question... this person. How did she know? Who would know?
"YellowJacket..."
He would his lowly, cursing her name under his breath as the truth was so obvious. He immediately assumed her to be Hachi, the young bee his mother had taken under her wings years ago... they had never met, but that didnt mean Thunder didnt know of her. He kept tabs on his mother, waiting for her to make the mistake of stepping into Japan, and while he did he had learned of yellow jacket. His replacement.
Still pissed, Thunder returned his eyes to Miku, trained on her own almost threateningly.
"This information does not leave this room, is that clear? If you tell that Bee bitch anything I'll make sure you wished we weren't blood related."
What he meant by that threat even he wasn't sure... he hated harming his own children, or the idea of it... but If this secret got out it may ruin his whole image, and all the effort he put towards erasing her from his history. Only once Miku confirmed would he say the following words.
"Lightning Bug is my mother"

She didnt know what to expect, but then Thunder said that this information he was about to give was not to leave the room. Miku just nodded and then spoke... he said the Truth Bomb
"Lightning Bug is my mother"
Miku's jaw dropped. It took her a second to process that, as she then continued to think, but this time out loud aka verbally "What...is your mother? But that would mean that Nick is my.... oh hell naw. There's no way Im related to a man ho like him! He's evil... and not the good kind!"
Then she realized she was kinda thinking verbally and then quickly piped down
"I...erm... apologies. I was just thinking" after a bit of silence, she asked "What happens now?"
So, she had a biological father and an adoptive father. Hana, well... she didnt marry G yet, so she's not a mother to Miku quite yet. She's stuck with 2 dads. But... what now? She wants to be with G. She doesnt wanna worry her family or her school friends. And her bee godmama Hachi. But this situation with Thunder.... what to do

THAT was the reaction he had first been expecting when he introduced himself to her father. How was it she was more shocked by Nick being her brother than him being her father!? The hell did the brat have over him hunh? Damn it, he had to do something quick to raise his notoriety once more... he'd been idle and dealing with the underground too long that his name wasn't holding the same influence it once was.
He relaxed a bit more at this point, raising his hand to his face to cover his eyes for a moment, rubbing his temples with his index and his thumb before letting his hand fall in front of him. He'd look at Miku once more, but now was faced with the question of "what now".
"Honestly, you're a variable in my plan I wasn't expecting. Since you're my daughter however, I make it a point not to screw with your life if you chose not to stay here with me. I won't go after that fucktard of an adopted father of yours if he stays out of my way, nor will I come for the Inagwaro girl. Or, Haruuhi, however you want to call her."
Thunder said as he was still trying to calm down from the question... while his outward appearance seemed more lax, inside he was a screaming bundle of rage.
" Truth be told I'd love to have you back, show you what it's like to be a Kobayashi and possibly even an heir to my empire. However, you're keen on following the Heroes path, isn't that right? It's... frustrating to say the least... to think you'd stand against me some day. If you would give me the chance, there's a lot I'd like you to see before that day comes. "
Right there Thundershock admitted that he wasn't a fool. He knew who Miku was, knew she was a hero in training and what that meant for their future. But if she could just see things from his point of view, she might not be so quick to jump onto the heroes bandwagon.

He spoke how she is a variable, but was nice enough to say that he wont screw with her life, but then he mentioned something weird, followed by Haruuhi
"Inagwaro girl?.. who?"... wait did he mean "Haruuhi? Is that her real last name?" but was THAT a secret too. Was that to not leave the room. Miku sighed as she didnt know
Thunder spoke how he'd love to have her back and show her whats his criminal life like. He spoke something about being an heir to his empire which made her raise a brow. Not that she was interested, but it was just weird to hear. Was he trying to like corrupt her. Although, then again ... he's her real dad. Its kinda up to him to decide? Well... she wanted to be a Vigilante like G. But he put her to UA so she doesnt end up like him. But... what is right....

No, she's a good guy. Thats the right thing to do. She had a family already. Hana, G and Haruuhi. She also had a baby brother now. That was far better then having a prick named Nick as a brother. Though she was still blown away "2/3 french" she whispered to herself "My life was a lie". Thunder might have heard her whipsering to herself, but she didnt care. She focused on what he said. Bla bla bla, keen on hero path. Frustrating. Bla bla bla. Stand against me. Yadda yadda. If you would give me the chance. There's a lot Id like you to see.
Miku was silent and thinking about what he said. In truth she was trying to strategize on how to balance this double life of good and evil. She held back from laughing as she couldnt imagine herself as evil. She'd make people go aw even if she wanted to be evil. Bah! No time. Answer now "I mean... I'd like to see all of the perspectives, showing more family and stuff. But I cant just vanish just like that. I need to like... find time... some free time where I can do this and come back as if nothing happened.... if you.. get my jist?" she tried to explain |

Was that not the last name she went by? He'd always just assumed she'd kept that name, or at least that was the last name she knew of? oops . Whatever, the redhead was no longer his concern. She had served her purpose both with the Inagwaro woman, and with G. He just gave a light shrug when Miku asked him if that was her real last name, indicating that he really didn't care about it.
"That's right."
He answered simply as he waited for the bombardment of questions from Miku regarding himself and her mother... but that never came. Instead she mumbled about her life was a lie, missing the part about being 2/3 french, and just huffed at that, once more blaming G for taking her away from him. Oh how he wished he could pummel that fuckers face in... He shook his head just as Miku looked up to indicate she did actually want to learn more. The thing was... he did not trust her. Not fully.
"I'd like that. There are a few siblings I'd like you to meet. You're got quite a few, including a little sister who's only a few months old"
that's right Thunder, tempt the girl with a baby. Good thing he knew G just had his own kid and surely the baby fever was high.
"As for how you can disappear, I's sure there's someone you know that could whisk you away without raising much suspicion."
He then added, making a note to Hideki who did technically work for him, even if he was adamant about tryign to get out from under the Kobayashi's thumb.
