The first place Thundershock took her was the Garden. It was enclosed by the mansion itself but still massive with various plants and trees scattered about, a small bridge that went over the small man made pond with various coloured koi swimming around peacefully. It seemed so out of place when you considered the fact that they were underground, but this place was definitely thriving thanks to some hard work and great machinery keeping the place alive.
He didn't bother to stop anywhere else yet as he assumed this was the place she would like the most. When he took her back there, he would stop on the outside balcony and lean against the post as he would just watch her, smiling rather gently as he watched the look of wonder spread through her eyes.
Inside the garden, Miku would be able to find several plants that Thunder had given her seeds for over time, the only one missing would be her little electric bulb as that was one she had developed herself. Everything else was there, and Miku would find it very easy to manipulate the flora here.
"I visit the garden every morning. When you've got a life like mine, it's nice to think even someone like me can find a moments peace here. You know... the whole garden's design was your mothers. She spoke often about what she would do if she had the money to make a garden like this. Unfortunately I was a bit too... self centred at that point to help her with this..." He admitted carefully, his eyes shifting from Miku to the green expanse in front of him. He'd never dwelled on that thought since he built the place, but now he couldn't help but wonder if she would have liked it... Lilly was a woman in a league of her own, so as much as he liked to claim she'd follow him anywhere... she wouldn't have, and she didn't.

The first place he shown her was the garden. It was enclosed by the mansion and it was still incredibly massive with various plants and trees scattered about, there was also a small bridge that went over the small man made pond with various coloured koi swimming around peacefully. Miku watched the koi for a moment, but then she looked at the whole picture. It was...wow. "I shouldnt like this. Like...crime doesnt pay. It doesnt" she thought to herself This whole place was a guilty pleasure. But... he was her dad. This was so hard. But she had to have a clear mind, she cant be corrupted. "Im not even gonna ask how this is alive" she said questly to herself as she watched and observed the place.
She liked the place, there was no doubt about it. Thunder knew where to take her. Looking at this it really felt as if crime payed. But then her thoughts were luckily interrupted by Thunder when she heard interesting info. Once he was done, she turned to him and asked "Is there a way I can...erm... get to know you as a person and not just as a terrible villain thats seen on the news?" she explains "I didnt mean to make you mad before. I really was just going to confirm or disprove a theory... I...erm... dont wanna offend you if I accidentally ask something... personal or bad... I mean if you want you can ask questions back" she sorta rambled, but quickly stopped herself and asked a simple question
"Since Im your... daughter. How do you want me to call you? Thunder? Thundershock? Sir? Dad? Father?... something else?" this was a question she tended to ask people, how should she address them. And with Thunder, she felt that was top priority before asking him anything else

'Get to know me hunh?' Thundershock thought to himself curiously as he glanced at Miku with that same curious gaze. Was this actually his daughter talking, or her inner Hero tryign to find his deepest darkest secrets? He still couldn't tell with her... she just had an air of innocence about her that made him want to fully trust her... but on that same token, that's why he didn't.
"Alright, I'm sure we can find a way for you to get to know me. You'll have to find a way to slip away from home and school though, since going back and forth between me and a Hero Academy will only create a trail for the Heroes to follow. Why don't you come and stay here with me for a few days? Maybe on a weekend so it isn't so suspicious that you're gone. You can take the time to see what I am really like." He offered her immediately. A weekend would be more than enough time for him to find out everything he needed about her as well. Sure she didn't want to fight him, but that didn't mean she wouldn't get someone else too. Blood wasn't everything to most people now a days. If she agreed, he'd have to think of what aspects he would let her see...
Then he asked her something that caught him off guard... Something so simple and familial that Thundershock just wasn't ready for. What to call him? It had come so naturally from the children he had 'raised' to call him father... but was that what he wanted them to call him? Yes of course. It was formal, polite and showed respect. They however were part of this Kobayashi hierarchy. Miku was not. The only child so far to refer to him as anything different was Mi and Kana, but they were... a little over the top.
"I uh... You can refer to me as whatever you like honestly, though my actual name might be strange coming from my child." He stated with the slightest of pink tinge to his cheeks as he would suddenly look away from Miku. How did a grown man get to tell a teenager to call him dad, or any variation of?

Miku got an unexpected answer from Thunder. She thought she could like ask him questions about likes and dislikes or what made him wanna pursue this career path or just... something about him. But he wanted her to slip away from home and school and spend time with him for a weekend? That was a head scratcher. Quite literally. Miku pondered for a moment, she reached to take a mini calendar she had to look over her scheduling. "Errm... can we do that on the 9th? Thats a friday. So from 9th to 11th I could spend the weeked with you. Im free then. Although, I do need a good excuse like erm... a ruse to trick them to think where am I... Just in case someone looks for me" Miku said as she looked over a calendar. It was clear that she agreed to this and wanted to spend time with him. She was already planning things out
After that little schedule planning, Miku HAD to ask, how to call him. She doesnt wanna piss him off and call him something wrong or insulting. But for some reason, this confused Thundershock!! And and.. DID HE BLUSH?? Why? How? WHY???
His answer was ambiguous as well and then his comment was just... WHAT... actual name? "What do you mean actual name??" Miku asked surprised

The sound of hesitation in her voice caused Thunder to raise an eyebrow, wondering if he hadn't already fucked up by inviting her to stay here. Though thankfully it seemed Miku was taking it seriously and already planning out dates that she could stay, though asking him what reason she could give to slip away without suspicion. That was a little bit trickier, considering the fact that she had to lie both to that fucker and to her school.
"The easiest solution would be to say you're going out on a weekend training exercise. At least your... guardian, could believe that. As for U.A... Well, you just tell them that you're at his place for the weekend if they ask." He suggested simply, thinking it would be the easiest lie in the world. It was just a weekend away, who the hell would get suspicious about that? It's not like he was cutting off her communications to the upper world or anything.
"I can figure that part out if you just show up. Otherwise, I mean if you want to ask me anything in the meantime go ahead, its only fair since I already know a bit about you." Thunder would add simply, making it obvious that he had been looking her up during this time, following her and learning about her as much as possible instead of just waiting to talk to her. Thunder needed facts, he didn't trust people easily, and so to just ask her questions like she was asking him didn't sit right with him.
She then asked him about what he meant by his real name, and that just made him think of Takumi. He'd make a bit of a grunt at his own thought, but then shook his head to answer.
"Thunder, By real name I mean Thunder. I don't have any other, cruel of a parent isn't it? Heh. What I meant was that it would be strange for you to call me that, and not some variation of father." He corrected, promptly trying to steer the subject away from there.

"Oh... ok" Miku said and nodded to Thunders solution. She hoped the lie was gonna be good enough. Then came the questions. Miku asked about what to call him, he didnt give much of an answer, he thought for a moment and said she could call him whatever, although calling him by name would be weird. To which Miku questioned what he meant. Apparently, Thunder was his name. Miku was speechless "O-oh.. I didnt know your villain name was your legal n- actually nevermind. Im not gonna poke that. Father it is" Miku said as she settled to call him father.
Though, now she had a blessing to get to know him and ask him questions. "Well... ok. New question. How did you become a Villain? Was it nature or was it nurture?" she asked, again it was an innocent question, nothin behind that. She was just curious how he became the Thundershock he is now. Like for G, she knew it was nature. His surroundings molded him that way, forced him to villainy. What was Thunders scenario, was it anything like G's scenario or was he just raised by an evil overlord Kobayashi father to be evil. Anything was possible

"I mean, yeah you wont find me by any other name anywhere." Thunder clarified with a light shrug of his shoulders. That was true, everything had been changed from Takumi to Thunder ,*everything*. He wanted no reminder of his name, of his mother, of that life. Takumi was nothing but some bastard child, unwanted by either parent. Thundershock? Thunder was a man who made his own future, carved his own path. That was him, and so he wouldn't go by any other name.
It seemed like that ushered Miku into her first question, asking what it was that make him a villain. Did his father nurture him to be? or did his surroundings shape him? It was an interesting question, since the word "villain" was pretty subjective to him. Thundershock blinked a few times as he let a silence fall between them, thinking about her question and the best way to approach it.
"It's a little more complex then one of the other I suppose. What do you consider a villain? what earns someone that label? I know that by society's standards, There's no villain ranked higher than me. However, in my shoes? I don't see it that way. At least, not much. Ask anyone in this city who the villains are, and you'd be surprised by the answers you hear.
Though you have to also consider Miku, that I was raised partially by the previous lord of the Kobayashi clan, and a ruthless older brother that would have taken his place. There wasn't much time for me to see the world the way those on the surface do. If I were to put it simply to answer your question, I suppose nurture. Though, I hope my answer leaves you with a lot to consider on what makes up a villain exactly." Thundershock spoke probably way too cryptically as he tried to answer Miku's question. It was a hard thing to explain when the person adjacent you couldn't see through your eyes or stand in your shoes. If you looked at every scenario Thunder had been involved in, knew the reasons behind them? You would know that Thunder acted to protect those he considered his people. The quirkers that followed him.

"Um... yeah" Miku said, she clearly wanted to comment that there, but she also didnt wanna offend Thunder, hence why she dropped it. Hence why she asked about his villanous origins. He just blinked a bit and then there was silence. He thought about it clearly. Miku hoped he didnt lie. Not because she's a hero, but because she just has this bad and hurtful history with liars.
Thunder spoke and it sounded like philosophical bs like 'what do you consider a villain'. Miku managed to resist the urge to eyeroll at that. But then a more interesting answer came. Previous Lord Kobayashi. And a ruthless older brother. That answer opened a door to a new question "Say... you said previous Lord Kobayashi and a brother. I guess its a good segue to what Im about to ask. But.. erm.. can you tell me about my family?" but then she quickly corrected herself or at the very least, made herself clear "And by family, I mean you, me, my mom, my grandparents and this older brother who would've been my uncle" she then clarified why she asked, its in a way a bit of a pun "I wanna know my roots. And the others like Nick? They're not family to me. They're half pints. Fakes, not really my family. I just wanna focus on learning about us" she said

She didn't seem to believe him at all on his name, but she didn't push the subject, and so he didn't either. Seemed he wasn't the only one who used their codenames as their actual name. Not that it really mattered in this day and age. Still, his explanation didn't have the effect he had been hoping for, instead she started asking more about family. About her mother, her grandparents, uncles, siblings, anything she could get her hands on. This was more the reaction he had been expecting when he first revealed the truth to her.
"Well, if you want we can head to my office, It's got a bit more of a visual history if you were interested." This was going to be a hell of a long explanation... so if Miku agreed then they would start to walk away from the garden and then make their way to his office. As they walked, he would start to talk about it.
"Where to start? My old man comes from a line of Kobayashi clan lords. Takeo Kobayashi. That man... he knew how to run things and had everyone wrapped around his little finger at all times. My brother, Hiseo, was to be his next in line. He was going to take over the clan and lead things the way my father had. I had issue with that growing up. See, I was my dad's dirty secret, his little bastard born to some french bug... a hero. My mother, Lightning Bug, was a vigilante seeing as Heroes weren't something you could legally be back then. After I was born, I was sent to live here with my father so I don't actually know that much about her honestly.
That brings us to your mother and I. Well, I killed my father and my brother and took his place as clan leader. I've been working my ass off at creating a haven for those labelled villains or criminals. Your mom... well, she was something else entirely... More beautiful than you could ever imagine, stronger than even I was at the time. Honestly she kicked my ass more than once. She was a vigilante too, so I was hesitant to get to know her, but I kind of found myself purposely stirring up trouble, just to have her come and fight me. It was a complicated relationship, one she'd never admit too, but we did spend more than a few nights together and that resulted in you. When she found out she was pregnant, she retired and moved away somewhere I couldn't find her so she could raise you." He stopped himself there, resting his hand on the doorknob to his office and genuinely looking sad for a moment as the words poured out of him. He never got to talk about Lilly... No one cared to listen, she was just another conquest. And in some ways she was, but she was always different to him than the others were. His fist tightened for a moment around the knob, pushing it open then stepping aside to let Miku enter. Inside would be a well decorated, plain office, a mahogany desk and office chair located by an open window, laptop perched next to stacks of papers. On the walls she would find pictures of various people, their names engraved in the frames. She would find the photo of Lilly right behind his office chair, and to the wall on the right, she would find pictures of all her siblings, even the ones he had given up or renounced, and so that included Toma, Yuri and Nick.

Miku nodded, she was all for that office visit. She was interested. As she followed him, she wanted to hold his hand, but was really hesistant. Like, she didnt know if he wanted it or not. She doesnt know. She didnt risk it. Besides story started. She listened to his tale and how he killed his father and brother. Like, why did he do that? Were they gonna kill him? And would he wanna know more about Lightning Bug if she had more info? Also... "I really hope that isnt my destiny" she muttered to herself in regards how he killed his father. She really hopes she doesnt do that. She shook her head and dismissed that dark idea. She listened to the tale about her mother. And well... she doesnt know how to feel, she sighed sadly
But then she noticed Thunder. His hand rested on the doorknob and he looked sad... like for real. Miku wanted to like cheer him up. But in a way she also felt awkward and guilty as if this was her fault everything happened. She had this mental war inside her head like should she hug him or cheer him up or leave him be. But before anythin was decided, he opened the door. Miku entered and saw like a plain office that was well decorated, a fancy desk and office chair by an open window. A laptop and pictures of people, as she entered the room she tried not to look at anyone who wasnt related to her. Although she did glance at Yuri for a second, because after all Miku was trained by her briefly. Miku focused on the photo of her mother, walked over to it and just looked at it
She was silent for a moment, and then she spoke. But not to Thunder, maybe it seemed at first she did talk to him, but in reality she didnt. It was towards the picture. "It's just... I mean,.... I don't know how to feel about you, but it feels like everyone else does. I wish I could have met you then this place would make me sad, and I could cry and feel emotion... and not just this void" she said to the picture

Miku was muttering to herself as Thunder spoke about his own immediate family. It was no secret that Thunder didn't like any of them, especially not when he had admitted to killing his own father and brother. She didn't ask though, so he didn't say anything further on rhe subject.
As miku walked into his office, he would watch her look over the images on the wall for just a brief moment before he would make his way to his desk. Thunder sat down, turning on the laptop in front of him and began to do... something while hidden behind the screen. His eyes would dart between his screen and Miku, smiling gently as she spoke. At first he thought that she was speaking to him, but her attention was fully on the image of her mother. those two... he really did wondder why it surprised him to know his daughter wanted to become a hero. Standing back up again he walked back over to Miku, finally placing his arm around her and pulling her into a sideways hug. he towered above her so couldn't exactly lean his head against her, but he gave her a tight squeeze to make the action clear.
"I wish she was still here for you to meet. If she was, I guarantee things would have been much more different than they are now. Hell, the way she was going? I might not be the big bad everyone sees me as." He explained lightly as he would then kneel down so that he and Miku were more at an eye level. Well, she now stood a bit above him, but it was much easier to have a more intimate conversation with her this way.
"Since the day she died and the day you were stolen away... I couldn't think of anything else for years. I searched and searched but we never found you. I should have tried harder to get you back then...but you're here now, and honestly I'm glad. I uh... I've never been the best dad, but if you let me try... maybe you could change that? The same way your mom was changing me?" He would ask her sincerely, one hand on her shoulder as he looked into her eyes with his own. He didn't want to change anything about himself, but how hard could being a 'good dad' really be?

As she was looking at her mother or... her picture, Thunder actually did the unthinkable. He hugged her. Sure it was this weird sideways hug. But a hug is a hug. And well... when a hug is initiated, it has to be done. So of course this made Miku hug Thunder back. It was terrible because he was this villain who did many terrible things, but dammit this was her dad! So of course she was gonna hug him and get be all teary eyed.
Soon he knelt down to be like on her eye level. He spoke more about when Miku herself like vanished and how he couldnt think of anything else? How he searched and searched. Which was still something mindblowing for her. But thinking back, it made sense he couldnt find her. Miku wasnt allowed to socialize with people and G was always breathing down her throat. So naturally it was impossible and Miku knew that.
Thunder spoke how he is glad that she's here and well... he tried to convey emotions, stating he wasnt the best dad. But maybe if she gives him a chance she could change that Well, Miku really wasnt gonna let this chance slip. And well, she does like the idea of having a biological father, even if it is Thunder. At least its not Recoil. Thunder is way better. Miku just hugged the big bad yakuza man and said "Sure I will"

When Miku turned to look at him, Thunder expected some sort of long, drawn out speech and yet nothing came. Instead once he was done, she would come forward and hug him tightly, an action that had Thundershock pause, his hands not yet touching Miku as his mind processed what was happening. There was a clear hesitation, but soon Thunder would put his arms around her and hug her back, his hand holding the back of her head as he did so. If Miku was paying attention at all to his body language, she could note the silent sigh of relief that escaped his lips. To Thunder, it was a moment of weakness that passed in silence.
What was he going to do with Miku exactly? Here was the daughter he had lost a decade ago, standing in front of him... a daughter that aimed to become a hero. That wasn't the life he wanted for her... she was going to be in constant danger as a hero... most likely from people that worked under him! Not that the villain life would be any better for her... She'd be constantly hunted then too and have to fight with those around her to maintain her position. She'd have to get strong one way or another... so what was the best way for him to keep her safe? Probably by his side but now how did he get her to abandon everything to stay with him. This was going to need more in depth planning.
Finally the big man would clear his throat, patting the young girl on the head as he withdrew from their hug, standing back onto his feet and putting his hands back in his pockets.
"So, anything else you wanted to know about the rest of your family. You actually have quite a few siblings, and for what it's worth they aren't all like Nick." He clarified with a short chuckle, having clearly picked up on the vibe that she didn't like him. Nick was definitely in a league all his own.

After a lovely hug, he cleared his throat and patted her on the head. He stood up on his feet and asked if there was anything she wanted to know about her family. He kept pushing the sibling button which she vehemently ignored. Those kids arent her family. She only had a mother and father. Plus her new family which included an adoptive mom, dad, sister and a baby brother.
Miku spoke "Well, I do have questions. But I can always ask those another time. What I really wanted to ask was..." a moment of truth. She could become a great hero if she learned all 3 perspectives and fighting styles. Hero, Vigilante and Villain "will you teach me?"
But before he could get overly excited and before he got any ideas, Miku clarified "How to defend myself? I mean, I know I have a hero school and a Vigilante training me. But I like having all of the perspectives on life and different fighting styles. I wanna learn from the best. And well, I thought that would include you too."
Learning from a Villain, this was something G tried to teach her. He lived the life of a Villain, he understood their psyche, thus he knew when and how to strike. He climbed to be number 1, because he knew what he was doing. Miku wanted this too. She wanted to see how villains fight and how they think. Granted she didnt understand a thing Thunder said when he was like 'oh im saving people'. But whatever. She has all the time in the world to try and understand that mess.

She had absolutely no interest in her siblings, totally passing over the offer once more which truck Thundershock as odd. he didn't press it of course, but it was something about her to note. Did she predict they would all be like Takeo? or er, Nick? he couldn't be sure, but he might try to pry an answer out of her at a later time. for now it seemed she still had more to ask him, and this one caused Thunder to raise an eyebrow as he looked at his young daughter curiously.
"Train you? Are you sure about that?" He asked her seriously as Miku then went on about how she was already learning from heroes and vigilantes... so why not villains as well? it was an interesting concept sure but... his training wasn't exactly easy... Coming in from the outside might look like...
"Hmm..." He pondered this seriously, crossing his arms over his chest and closing his eyes for a moment as he thought about it. She said she just wanted to learn to defend herself, not that she wanted the full train her to be amazing package... he supposed it couldn't really hurt... but it would take time.
"I'll have to think about it. I don't mind training you, but if it's simply to get stronger, there are some aspects that uh... we could... forgo if you will." He noted with a light nod of his head, making it clear that he would train her, but he wouldn't show her everything he might show another one of his elites.
