How many Truth Bomb's does he have!? [Miku]

She still looked so taken aback by everything that it made Thunder crack a genuine smile. He would stand up once everything seemed said and done and would walk around the little coffee table between them, kneeling down next to Miku and placing his hand on top of her head, rubbing her head gently.

"You look so much like your mom you know... I first thought my eyes were playing tricks on me when you first came up to me."
he said gently as he wanted to pull her into a hug, but was entirely too reserved to show her that much affection. This was the most he'd shown any of his kids really, beyond the new baby.

"Any time you need anything, you come to me, alright?"
He added before standing up again, clearing his throat as he moved to the coffee table and picked the envelop back up, flipping it upside down as a small plastic packet came sliding out. There was something wrapped in tinfoil inside. He promptly handed the small bag back towards Miku.

"I did promise you seeds right? Take these before you go. They should help you channel that electric energy, and uh... don't let anyone see those."
He stated as the seeds where from a plant stolen from another research facility. They were being used to test new sources of natural energy and had been rather successful before Thunder had the plants stolen away for his own use. He wouldn't admit to it as it was still under investigation, buuuuuut still.

"Because they're stolen"
He said flatly seemingly without a care at all. They were seeds retrieved from the plant Cordicep had managed to steal for him not too long ago. This plant was being used by a rival corporation to develop a natural source of energy and Thunder couldn't let that happen. If anyone was successful in developing that, it would send his businesses under. He would lose a lot of money. This way, he would be the one to release this new energy.

"No one will recognize the seeds, but if you bring the flowers into full bloom and it catches the eye of any police officers or pros working on the case, they might interrogate you on where you got them from. Use them for practice, or in extreme situations only."
Thundershock would warn her casually, wondering how this little test was going to go. He knew what the seeds could do, and while he was happy to have Miku back in his life... she was raised by an outsider, someone with a whole different set of ordeals. He had to see how loyal she actually was, how she would handle living part of her life in the shadows, or if she would immediately reveal to anyone who asked where she got the seeds from.

Thundershock would look at her from the corner of his eyes, letting out a disgruntled "Hrmph" as she compared him to G. Honestly, if G wasn't so adamant about being a damn goody two shoes, he could see G working closely with him. He had all the qualities he would want in someone of higher rank in his clan. Too bad he had to kill the fucker next time.

"At least my gifts are better. We might have similar qualities but he can never compare to me."
He emphasized this sentence as Thundershock had quite the big ego. Honestly to be compared to trash like that was nothing short of an insult. Anyone else would have gotten electrocuted, but she did cover it up by assuring him they would never find each other on opposite ends. He would give her a light nod, the smirk on the corner of his lips twitching into a smile.

"You can use the term villain loosely with him. Whatever, once you see more of my world I know you'll come to understand my side. Yeah to society I'm the scummiest villain there is. But here? In the underground I'm better than any Hero could hope to be."
He boasted, with another humph leaving his lips as he put his cup back down and finally went to stuff his hands in his pockets. If Miku wanted to see more of the city, he'd definitely indulge her. He just didn't want to keep her here for too long in the event she got caught and it dragged Heroes to his front door.

"There can be"
He'd state with a light shrug of his shoulders as he would then turn and head towards what looked to be like a closet door at the back of the break room.

"But thankfully no one had screwed up on that level in quite some time. The last gorey thing I've done was the attack on Tokyo Hospital, which there was sound reason behind that before you ask."
He clarified as he then opened the closet door. Inside however was a wooden staircase leading down, seeming to lead to a basement (though actually leading to the underground city).

"That stuff isn't what I want to show you though. You know about the drug deals, but you don't know why I deal in them. About the research that happens down here and the various business arrangements. But even all of that isn't what I want you to see. Follow me."
He ushered Miku with a motion of his hand, then extending it for her as if he intended to hold her hand all the way down to the underground. What he wanted Miku to see was the world he had created down there. In the underground city, these people respected him more than they feared him. They honestly did treat them like their saviour. These were all people left behind by society or abandoned, people with no homes, or families that were able to escape here and be a part of something greater than themselves. These were the people the heroes would hunt down given the chance... people fighting for survival. This was the flipside to U.a, to the hero program, and it's the truth he wanted Miku to see.

Thundershock couldn't help but laugh rather boisterously as Miku noted how he couldn't have just attacked Tokyo Hospital because he had been bored. Of course not, as if that was a good reason to start an attack of that magnitude. No, there was always reasoning behind everything he did. That girl, he just loved fucking around with her and her righteous attitude.

"Of course it wasn't out of boredom. Hahaha. No, The CEO or that hospital along with quite a few members of staff, doctors and nurses, were part of an anti quirk movement. They were doing research on how to eliminate quirks. Other members of staff used to work for me and left for the 'grater good'. Admittedly a lot of the patients had nothing to do with the conflict, but an example had to be made. It probably did lead to what happened at Semper Fi, and I don't doubt there will be a whole lot of other confrontations down the road, but like hell I'm going to let anyone take quirks away from people. Fuck the quirkless"
He would start explaining the situation at the hospital calmly, but the more he went on about Quirkless, the more frustrated he got. It was nothing more than an annoyed expression and a growl, but you could tell it was something he was decently passionate about.

Once they reached the underground city, Thunder would seal the door behind them and lead Miku down into the heart of the city. Everything down here honestly looked like the red light district, dim lights everywhere, fans to circulate the air and a strange stillness as the rock around them dampened the sounds of the city. As they walked down towards the streets, several people would be walking about and glancing up towards Thunder as he and Miku went by. Unlike on the surface, the looks on their faces were happy to see him. Some of them would bow politely as he passed by, but they were all sure to stay out of their way.

All these people were dressed rather poorly, old shirts and pants, clothing that was torn and sometimes barely hanging on. There were some people with better clothing then that, but unlike the surface, they weren't avidly avoiding those that looked more defeated.

"Down here, no one is poor. Everyone outside the Kobayashi clan is equal. All these people are those that society has shunned or forgotten. Unable to pay for homes or food, a lot of them are thieves, some of them murderers and others are drug dealers. People struggling with addiction, struggling with life. Basically everyone here would be locked away for something they've done to survive. In this city though? There's no rent. You don't have to pay for food. All you need to do is work. They work for me, doing odd jobs here and there, working down here to keep the city thriving."
He explained to her as they walked about. The shops werent very big and didn't hold much, but you could tell that the life essentials were all available. No one here lived in luxury, but they lived, and in relative peace unless they worked for Thundershock directly.

Miku was quiet throughout the entirety of his speech, just listening and acknowledging the information that he was giving her. He glanced over his shoulder at her again, watching where her eyes went and wishing for the first time that he had Cordycep here with her stupid mushrooms so he could hear what his girl was thinking. While he enjoyed having her back, it was a bit awkward for him. He was so used to sending his kids away, that one coming back to him as a teenager was... a new experience.

"Well honestly this IS what I wanted to show you. The city, the people, literally our way of life. Things are so different here than on the surface that you won't be able to see it all at first glance. Was there anywhere you wanted to go? There are shops here you can visit, not exactly as glamorous as the surface but they serve their purpose. I don't think I've taken you yet to the mansion either? We could go and visit what could be your home if you chose to stay with me. I do have a pretty extensive garden I believe you'd enjoy."
Really he wanted to just leave Miku here to experience things for herself, let her hear from the others what it was like to work for him, what it was like to live in this underground. Most of the commoners here were either unfortunate addicts, or those that turned to crime to survive. They weren't bad people per se. Well, not all of them. Everywhere had it's bad apples, and this was still a hive of scum and villany.

She didn't sound impressed at all by what he had to tell her, and that irritated him quite a bit, though he worse a solid mask not to show it. That had to be her 'hero' mentality kicking in. These 'good guys' always looked down on those that had to resort to crime to survive. He wasn't about to make any sorry excuses for himself. He knew exactly what he was and acted accordingly... but these people? Normal, every day QUIRKED citizens who had run out of luck... With no choice but to resort to crime just to survive. Oh how long he could have harped and fought for them only to be heard by deaf ears. No one cared about the people he took in, and that was why this place was the perfect arrangement for all of them. He gave them both work and a purpose.

He just let out a sigh as he stuck his hands in his pockets, stopping and turning to face Miku who stated she wasn't at all interested in the shops. She did refer to herself as a Kobayashi which did bring a smile to his stoic face. She wanted to see tha mansion it seemed, and even went as far as to call it home, however 'possible' it may be. Maybe he wasn't totally sucking at this estranged daughter thing.

"Very well. To the mansion it is then."
He would confirm with her before he would turn once more to lead the way towards his home. She then went on to explain how she wanted to spend more time with him now that she knew they were family. He was really having a hard time with this... balancing between fully taking her in as his child, and keeping her at an arms length for being a hero. It was difficult, and lowering his guard like this was difficult.

The two would walk up to the mansion in peace, no one bothering them and just going about their business. The closer they got to the mansion, the fewer homes and apartments they would find until there was nothing but stone and staircase. It was pretty desolate and seemed like the mansion would be a pretty lonely place, but when they got close enough to the old style Japanese building, it was quickly forgotten that they were underground. Multiple lamps and ventilation systems were set up all around the building, recreating what could only be compared as a comfortable summers day. There was all sorts of greenery actually thriving around the mansion, and you could see a few trees peeking up above the roof.

As they entered the front gate, the entrance to the mansion would come into view. Beautiful, elegant wooden pillars held up an old ceramic styled roof. All the doors seemed to be traditional and everything screamed ancient Japan. All but the finer belongings Thunder had surrounded himself with. Golden ornaments and crystal statues, a gardener not dressed in rags but proper clothing. this entire thing might be overwhelming to someone unused to wealth, but Thunder just walked on in without a second thought.

"This is it. Honestly it can seem pretty plain until you know where everything is. You wanted to see the garden first I imagine?"
He asked her as he took off his shoes and properly set them aside as he entered, further leading her through their home to the garden. The garden was fully surrounded by the mansion, and yet there was so much green you could barely tell. There was a small pond that trailed from the north to went with koi swimming around inside, trees and flowers unlike any that could be found on the surface blooming here as well.
