WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Having returned to her home, to call this an appartment was akin to calling an enormous mansion a house. The area was, from the entrance alone, already miles apart a regular appartment. To enter, one had to be allowed in. Essentially it was somewhat of a skyscraper at the middle of tokyo, with private parking and housing area. Everything was locked off behind the bars. Once you were through the outer defenses, you'd have to enter the divergence point; The main hall. Here, there were long corridors with elevators leading up into the skyscraper. Several of these, including the one leading to Sashi's domicle, needed additional security to get through. Conveniently placed on both the entrance and the elevators, were dial systems to call anyone in the appartments above to authorize access. Finally up at Sashi's floor, it required additional authorization to get off the elevator. Albeit, now finally there, everything belonged to Sashi. The security in this place was top notch. Breaking in or picklocking it practically an impossibility. Then, as you entered Sashi's floor, you were already within Sashi's home. Stepping out of the elevator you were in a wardrobe for outside clothes and shoes. From the wardrobe, you could step into the living room, which was combined with the kitchen. Along the wall to the outside world, were enormous window panels of bulletproof glass, allowing spectacular view of Tokyo. The interior was extremely modern, with everything having bright and living colors. Practically across the entire appartment were different paintings, breaking the monotomy of otherwise white walls. The master bedroom had an enormous queen sized bed, looking beyond comfortable and inviting. From the bedroom, one could walk out into the bathroom. A luxurious bathtub, a cornered off shower, an enormous mirror, embarassingly clean toilet. Not even a speck of dust was out of place. The living room had a large couch to be rested in, an enormous flatscreen television - practically an entire cinema - plus a charging station for phone, laptop, speakers and everything else Sashi might use on a regular basis. Lastly, there was the guest room. It was by far the smallest room in the appartment, holding only a two person bed, a closet for clothes and a drawer. It was enough that someone could easily live there, though compared to the rest of the appartment, it was nowhere near as extravagant. As Mary was being guided through the different security checks, Sashi was relaxing on the couch, watching the news. There was always something going on in this world. Telephone at the ready, if any of the government officials that practically decided when, where and how Sashi got around called, she'd be at the beck and call. That is, aside from having to go out for her patrolling duties. Ever since Japan had introduced pro heroes and given them particular areas to patrol, the crime rate in those areas had naturally dropped. That said, heroes were still people. Sashi could not be expected to fight off villains if she was not in a good condition. When Mary finally stepped into the wardrobe area, Sashi peeked her purple eyes up over the edge of the couch. From all the walking she had done today, her legs were feeling particularly sore. So despite how rude it may have seemed, she had no intentions of getting to her feet. Instead, she offered for Mary to come sit down. "Welcome to my home, Mary-san. I know it's not quite like the luxury of my home, but it's at least bearable. Please, come sit, make yourself comfortable."

As Mary took in the rather extravagent home of her old friend, one thought ran through her mind. She hasn't changed. Now of course a lot of her life when they were kids was down to her parents but even then Sashi tended to have a higher level of desire and love for the finer things in life, at least compared to Mary herself who'd have been just as happy having a cheeseburger as she would have a fancy high class dining experience. heck if anything she'd have preferred the burger just cause it could have been made faster and probably would have filled her up more.
All the same she couldn't deny it was an impressive place, though she had to wonder if the security was because Mary expected Villains to know where she lived, or just solely for the fact it was such an expensive apartment. Whichever it turned out to be Mary wouldn't know just yet as she ended up walking out of the elevator to what appeared to be a wardrobe...riiiight. So if someone DID make it past the elevator, they'd have pick of all her fancy outdoor clothes. Very smart Sashi.
Spotting her on the couch Mary made sure to put on a smile and started skimming towards her with her quirk, smirking cheekily as she held her arms behind her head, approaching her as if she was propelling herself on heelies and bowing her head as she approached. "Good to see Sashi-Sama is as proud and regal as ever~ Not even needing to stand to welcome your guests, truly a sign you have the most noble of blood old friend.~"

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy A disgruntled groan left the blonde as Mary began complaining. Quite frankly, Sashi would've agreed that lying around when guests were coming in was highly rude and unethical. Waving her hand dismissively in the air, the blonde waited for Mary to find herself a spot to sit so that they could properly converse. "Since you're here, you may as well know. It is not that I intend to be rude." Sashi slowly tilted forwards to get up sitting, stretching her body and trying to remain relatively relaxed and comfortable. The laptop on the table in front of her had been recently used. "..My quirk makes things crumble. It is a power, an energy, expressing dominion over other things. In short, my quirk is absolute." Of course. Sashi was speaking of her quirk with pride, yet there was a looming something in the way she was wording things as well. "That unfortunately includes my own body. My quirk is barely contained from eating away at me. It means my muscles, fibers, even bones, struggle maintaining themselves. If I move around too much, I risk hurting myself." Sashi was speaking very casually about it. Afterall, all the words she spoke were simple medical facts. There wasn't a way to get around it. To someone that was to function like her sidekick, knowing the clear drawbacks of Sashi's otherwise overwhelming quirk was also neccessary. "That is why you're the perfect other half, Mary-san. While you may not hold inherent firepower, your quirk quite literally accounts for my weaknesses... that, and trusting you is much easier for me than trusting a stranger." Sitting quietly in the couch, Sashi reached for the laptop in a tired fashion. It must've been strange seeing the proud blonde so vulnerable. "...Alright, if you wish to be a heroine, we need to design you a hero costume.."

Oh she didn't intend to be rude? Well it wasn't like she intended to be rude when they were kids either. Not that Mary every took it like that anyway. They were both brought up to be snobby brats in their own way, Mary's parents just pushed her away from enough of an early age that it never stuck with her. Sashi however seemed to get just enough attention that she ended up a lot more like their snobby parents than either girl would likely be comfortable admitting...but still not so much like them that Mary was a forgotten element to her.
Moving to take a seat and listen to her old friend, she listened to her quirk. One she'd only briefly experienced when they were kids, and thankfully not on the bad end of it, though since they were seperated so quickly after sharing eachother's quirks, she'd never learned about this side of it. She made just a quiet mental note to try and take it into account. Not everytime that Sashi was being rude was...well. Rude. In a sense, she had a handicap. If she didn't have a quirk she'd be weaker than most people...assuming she still had the drawback without the quirk of course.
Hearing the thought process behind Sashi's choice was odd...covering her weaknesses? Well she kinda did that, not perfectly, but with her quirk based on movement she could probably get up close and personal were Sashi couldn't. The part about trusting her...she let out a soft chuckle. Yeah. They hadn't seen each other for years and somehow Sashi still trusted her, or saw her as one of the few she could trust. Did that say more good about Mary herself, or say something bad about how Sashi's life had been without her?
With the movement for the laptop, Mary got up, skimming across the floor at a running speed but without the motions to match, swooping in to grab the laptop for her, and plopping down beside her on the couch, sliding the laptop across to Sashi's lap, giggling as she reminded herself she was a borderline 'servant' for Sashi in their childhood, even if neither of them realized it at that age. "Your laptop, Sashi-Sama.~"
