❛❛ Darkshine Sashi Ketsujo 18 || Demisexual || Female || Hero |
PERSONALITY POSITIVE ✔ Confident, Classy, Persuasive, Trustworthy, Loyal, Proud. NEGATIVE ✖ Naive, Oblivious, Arrogant, Smug, Pretentious, Vain. LIKES ✔ Compliments, Competence, Worship, Luxury, Social Status. DISLIKES ✖ Villains, Pain, Suffering, Stupidity, Being crossed. PERSONALITY Sashi is by all accounts living in her own little dream bubble. Everything must fit into her designs and ideals, for them to have any merit or worth. Constantly being told how awesome, fantastic and amazing that she is, her view on anyone that fail to understand her greatness, is that they must be delusional or blind. Sashi grew up in wealth and was treated as a prized posession. In many ways, the girl functions as an extension of her parents will and wrath, meaning most of her opinions and desires are inherited or dictated to her. Appearance is everything, so Sashi will go to great lengths to ensure that no one besmirches her - or worse, her family's image. Selfish in nature, there are very few things that Sashi truly cares about, beyond herself and her family. The girl has very little issue assigning a specific value to something, or someone. If an individual is deemed to have little value, they're easily discarded. Sashi is completely open about what she thinks of people - which most often leaves a negative aftertaste. To the few initiated and allowed within her circle of friends, Sashi is a completely different person. Calm, collected, this inner circle is the only people that'll get to speak to her or voice their opinions. While Sashi will still, most often, do what she wants to do, swaying her opinion is certainly not impossible. To those that belong in this circle, Sashi is loyal and respectful. However, should anyone leave this circle for whichever reason, they receive the cruelty befitting of traitors. | APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 161cm WEIGHT: 61kg HAIR/STYLE: Long, blonde. Sashi's hair is part of the appearance that she treasures so dearly. As such, great care is being put into keeping it exactly as she wants it. Soft, silken, washed and perfumed, there is no doubt that hours are put into her image, every single day. SKIN/SCARS: Sashi's skin color is a fair white. EYES: Sashi has sharp, purple eyes. It sometimes appears as if she can see straight through people. NOTABLES: N/A Sashi is the ideal image of a woman, at least if you are to buy into the hype surrounding her. Well developed, her curves are expansive and well formed. Capable of playing on her womanly figure, Sashi is well aware of how to make her assets stand out, while still keeping enough hidden to keep people guessing. Sashi has earned a reputation for being good at fashion, and has obviously modelled on several occasions. |
❛❛I'm afraid I can't hear you, over your own insignificance. |
HISTORY Sashi was born as a treasured asset to her family, the Ketsujo. The family had needed fresh blood to be trained and taught, so that the family business could live on to the next generation. A figurehead for a family. So, as a youngling, Sashi wasn't out playing in the dirt. The girl was studying, being taught manners, being taught social status, behavior. Everything that a young girl would need to step into a family of business. Tutored, homeschooled, the young Sashi didn't have much interaction with the world. Barely shown off at important parties, the only way to measure her success, depended on how many what a wonderfully raised daughter you have. So polite, intelligent and courteous. she could achieve in an evening. Even those parties came to an end, when her parents discovered what they had feared. A rogue element, over which they had no control. Sashi was born with a quirk. It had taken them so long to notice, because it was very subtle at first. Plants in Sashi's room had mysteriously wilted, being the only sign. From the moment that Sashi was deemed an uncertainty, an anomaly, the girl was kept completely out of sight. Yet, the girl's parents weren't complete monsters. Another wealthy family, the Leruox, whom the Ketsujo's had done business with overseas for generations, had moved to Japan in the past two generations. Their situation was much akin to the Ketsujo's, in that their daughter, Mary Leroux, too inherited a so called 'Quirk'. The two girls were paired up, although there had been no hesitation in letting them both know which of the two were of superior status. As such, when the girl's met, Sashi had been arrogant. Refusing to properly interact, refusing to properly speak, spending a majority of their time together simply reading. ...but children will be children. Over time, Sashi began speaking to the other girl, opening up little by little as the loneliness became unbearable. Being together most hours of the day, the two girls built a bond. They weren't quite like sisters; The difference in their standing made it impossible to treat their relationship as such. They were dear friends. Dear friends who had no one else to confide in. Or at least, such was the case for Sashi. For while the guesting family was more open, overbearing and trusting, giving Mary more general freedom, Sashi was locked into tradition. The girls grew up together, never once showing the other one their quirk. It was prohibited by father. However, without utilizing a quirk, by pretending it did not exist, there was no such thing as control or restraint. They had been playing in the flower garden when it happened. Sashi had pricked her finger on a thorn. It hurt, it was painful, it was the rose's fault. It was only a short moment of anger. A short moment of the girl revealing her emotions. The flowers closest to Sashi had begun wilting, dying, crumbling apart at the seams. Terrified of herself, of what she was capable of, Sashi had begun crying. 'Quirks are evil.' It was a sentiment which had been hammered into her head repeatedly. ...but Mary Leroux thought otherwise. Quirks could be fun, wonderful even! Despite it being forbidden to them, they began playing with their quirks. For a time, everything went unnoticed. They were adept enough at cleaning up after themselves to avoid being found out. For a time, there was fun, laughter, giggles. The bond the two girls shared was stronger than ever. It was all taken away when their little games were discovered. Sashi had needed to go to the bathroom. Mary Leroux had been sitting in the bedroom, using her quirk to do devilish things.. ...It was the last time for several years that Sashi saw Mary. The only friend that Sashi had ever known, the only person that she had cared for, beyond what her obligations were to her family, was gone. Exiled, disowned, distasteful, disgusting. So many words were used to describe the girl who had played with her quirk. A harmless little game had cost her so dearly. Sashi couldn't show sadness; To show weakness over someone beneath your stature was unbecomming of a Ketsujo. Be strong, move on, forget the unworthy... However, a time came where things would briefly change. The world was waking up and becoming more accepting of quirk users. There was a huge public spectacle on the term of heroes. An enormous political interest in getting the villains under control. Such an amount of publicity could only lead to fame and fortune. A way to use the anomaly that was Sashi, to further the family name. So they staged an incident. A small group of hired criminals were to raid a subway station. A subway station where Sashi had been conveniently dropped off. The message from father had been clear; If anyone threatens you, you protect yourself. It had never been a real fight, not even remotely. The villains weren't a real threat, they were felled like flies. It had all been planted and setup. Setup so that Sashi would look like a heroine. ...This single incident caught enough attention to get things rolling for the Ketsujo. Being an influential family, the Ketsujo managed to gain their daughter one of the few, lucrative spots for liscenced heroes in Japan. This despite her having absolutely no business in such a dangerous world. They would nurture this fame, nurture this fortune, and turn her into a sensation of which they could reap the rewards... but a heroine needed a sidekick. A sidekick with a quirk. With what little authority Sashi had gained, she turned to the only person who she knew. The only one who she could trust as her sidekick. The two girls were being re-united. |
