PERSONALITY
Mary is a very playful and loving individual, never the kind to judge someone on a first impression, and more likely to make friends than to upset anyone. At the same time though, she is heavily loyal to her friend Sashi, both because she truly believes they're best friends, but also because she worries she might be Sashi's only friend, and feels she has a duty to both protect, and in a way, entertain her.

As a hero she tries to remain level headed, caring for victims while also being 'bold' enough to give her and Sashi some good PR. Afterally, you need to have a good public face and a nice sense of courage and bravado if you wanna make it as a hero!~

APPEARANCE

HEIGHT: 161.5cm
WEIGHT: 63 kg
HAIR/STYLE: Platinum blonde, little under shoulder length and curls around the left side of her face where she keeps it longer.
SKIN/SCARS: Naturally a little pale, but gets some sun to compensate. Has a small scar on her hip from where she was once hurt as a child. She dosn't like to explain it.
EYES: Red, sharp and defined.

With a naturally curvy figure, Mary stands at a fairly decent height and despite a soft layer of flesh it's clear she'd physically fit despite the nature of her quirk letting her take the easy way on a jog or a walk. She likes to dress to accentuate her curves just a little without doing overly so. A bit of class goes a long way afterall.

She does like to look after herself, and clearly uses moisturizing products, and a lighter dose of makeup. With her families origins, despite years of living in japan, she also has a light french accent.

HISTORY

Mary's family once lived in France but moved to japan during the beginning of the quirk upsurge to be closer to a family they were partners with, worried the sudden upsurge in odd mutations would be their downfall and hoping to strengthen a tie between themselves and one of their strongest allies. In the current generation however, Mary exists, a young girl who knew little of her parents busy work, but did know very well that they had a hatred for qurik users, the racism usually found in older members of society living on strong even in the younger members of her family. As such, when the young Mary developed her quirk, it was clear that unlike her brothers and sisters, she wasn't as valued a member of the family. It was a hard thing for a child to grasp, but a lesson she eventually learned in time.

One of her biggest hints was the way she felt like she was used by her family, handed off to their business partners effectively as she was made to play, or rather, be the plaything of, their own daughter Sashi. To Sashi it was put to her that she was simply being given a new friend, but for Mary, this was just a way she could be of use. For the longest time with her new 'friend' she tried to behave, to just encourage her to do what she wanted and maybe open up a little, but as months went on, more of her own self naturally shimmered through, impossible for a young child such as herself to restrain it so easily. Lucky for her, it seemed to be the way to go, as not only did she and Sashi become closer friends, but being themselves seemed to be what truly brought them together.

When the day came that Sashi surprised her by accidentally displaying her own quirk, Mary only felt excitement. The quirk was...scary, for sure, but it meant she could show her own unique skill, something she only ever got to do in the privacy of her own room. Hoping to ease Sashi's nerves, she displayed her quirk, skimming across the surfaces in her bedroom and even falling over when she tried it on the loose bed sheets, the two children soon giggling together as they found a common ground in one another.

Of course, good things can't last forever, and eventually, Mary was found using her quirk by Sashi's parents. Sashi herself never got in trouble, maybe she tried to tell her parents they were both in the wrong, maybe not, Mary was gone from her long term friend before she could even know. In time she was practically disowned by her family when they found it difficult to find another long term use for her. Lucky for her, so long as she turns up for public appearances she still gets a decent allowance, but over the years she pushed herself to find work on her own, learning from private tutors rather than going to school, and spending her 'work hours' between several odd jobs over the years, enjoying how some became so much easier with her quirk.

In fact, she was so settled that when Sashi came to her suggesting them team up as Pro-heroes....it was more than a little surprising...but seeing her old friend under that layer of bravado, how could she say no?~
