"Hey Kami, how was the early shift?~" Standing in the changing room of her latest job, Mary was fixing the ruffled apron to the front of her maid outfit. Sure it wasn't a job a lot of people would take pride in or do without shame, but genuinely upbeat about her day so far she was looking forward to the shift. All she had to do was smile, lightly flirt, and look cute, and she did all three of those anyway!~ She didn't even need to be a good cook so long as she was cute enough and the customers would still request her!
"Oh same old same old. The regulars are sweet but you always get a new one who dosn't quite get the rules ya know?" Mary knew all too well, but she didn't think to look into those memories right now, just giving a playful shrug as she adjusted the shoulders of her outfit and started moving out to start her shift.
"I'll keep an eye out and put them in there place if they try and make any weird moves on me. You just go enjoy the rest of your day okay Kami?~" The two girls shared a brief nod before Mary began skidding off through the rows of tables using her quirk. Unlike the old fuddy duddies her family took after, younger men who visited the maid cafe actually found her quirk borderline attractive, feeling the super powers humans were developing were so cool and unique, and thus, making her an even more popular maid to get requested as she could oh so easily skim through the aisles to show off her quirk to the lucky boys she served.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Picking a sidekick was no easy affair. Especially when you were as fantastic of a person as Sashi. A sidekick needed to reflect the teachings and ideologies of their hero. Lastly, they needed to have a quirk. In these times, doing law enforcement while being quirkless was practically out of the question in certain scenarios. Sashi had some experience with villains first hand. Without her quirk, there was no way that she had stood a chance. Fortunately for Sashi, the girl had the most magnificent quirk of them all. Crumbling away any resistance.
Thinking about it carefully, there was only one person in the world which could come even remotely close to doing any of those things for Sashi. Mostly because, in this outside world, there wasn't anyone that she had any kind of ties with. That person was a childhood friend, that despite having been apart for several years, likely knew the extravagant and beautiful female better than anyone else. So, the quest had begun to find Mary.
A problem which should've been relatively simple to solve, one would think. The daughter of a rich family, foreign name, a personality and appearance that would stand out anywhere. However, despite all of these factors being the case, Sashi had been unable to locate Mary thus far. The family had practically disowned their daughter, leaving Sashi's visit a surprise. Sashi could practically see the shimmer of hope in their eyes. So, maybe there's hope for our daughter after all. It was the same kind of blank stare that she herself had gotten, when her own parents finally found something useful that she could do. From there, the search continued. Right until Sashi had received a tip; Mary was involved with a maid café in Tokyo...
Rolling up with the family's private chauffeur, Sashi waved him off - his presence was no longer required. From here, the girl would be doing things her way. Sashi was wearing a thighs-short tartan skirt in brown and red colors. Adorning her torso was a stylish blue jacket - the top buttons of the jacket unbuttoned to reveal a white shirt underneath. It also gave those, who deemed themselves brave enough, a small chance to look. Only a slightly better view of her cleavage. Opening the door forcefully, Sashi stepped inside the café. Expecting Mary to be running the place, she cleared her throat before loudly exclaiming:
"I wish to speak with the manager, or owner. Would Mary Leroux happen to be in?"
Not for even half a moment would Sashi have considered it plausible that Mary could be working at a place like this. It was far below her stature..!

With the rather loud entrance of the new guest, Mary briefly looked over but paid it little mind. The girl looked kinda cute, but forcing her way in like that Mary just assumed it was some loud and proud anime fan trying to make some big entrance or something, which made it even more surprising when they apparently requested her. The manager too weirdly enough. Plus it wasn't overly fake that it seemed like they were putting on a bit and were just...genuinely confident...?
Wait...where had she seen her before?
Having been a few years Mary, from the back of the cafe where she'd been preparing an omelette for a customer, narrowed her eyes and tried to place her memory of the girl as one of her co-workers actually went up to address her, doing their best to stay in character.
"Ah...e-excuse me Mistress, but I'm afraid our senpai-" The workers word for their manager, treating her as some high class maid that was teaching them the work to play with the role. "Is out on her own lunch right now? W-we do have miss Mary on staff however if you would like to find a table, she'd be more than happy to help." Tipping her head back to Mary as the platinum blonde finished serving the omelette she'd made, Mary moved closer and brushed off the front of her skirt, narrowing her eyes further as her memory was just barely placing those sharp facial features of the odd woman who'd barged in. "Isn't that right Mary? You'd be more than happy to serve this mistress?"
The co-worker was sharing a sheepish smile, trying to stay in character as best she could. Mary however couldn't do the same as he memory finally started to click, resting her hands on her hips and going with the one name on her mind.
"...Sashi?"

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Bewildered, Sashi stood there, in the middle of the maid café, with a horrified look on her face. "Surely, you must be jesting?... My Mary, working here, as staff? Do you even know who I am?" Sashi waved her hand dismissively. Of course this was all some grand misunderstanding. A childhood friend of Sashi's couldn't possibly have fallen to such a commoner rank in society. It was insulting, preposterous, that this vile woman even dared insinuate such things. The manager, their senpai, wasn't currently there. However, according to this girl, whatever Mary's association with this place was, it was neither as an owner, nor as a manager. Sashi flat out refused to believe such a thing could be true. "It is clear to me, that my Mary does not work here. I will take my leave." Running her fingers through her own golden locks, she flicked the hair over her shoulder in a fashion that seemed solely designed to declare how superior she was.
That entire facade quickly shattered however, as a voice spoke from the sidelines. A voice which had matured significantly since the last time the blonde had heard it. For a brief moment, the arrogance was shattered, as Sashi turned to look at Mary with her own purple eyes. A soft vulnerable moment. Relaxed in body, relaxed in mind, there was a soft smile on Sashi's lips. "Mary, is it truly you?" That brief moment of vulnerability faded as quickly as it had appeared. It was blatantly visible. How everything life had taught Sashi to this point came flooding back in. Posture stiffening, lips returning to a neutral state. "Why on earth would someone of your rank be working in a place like.. like this?" Mimicking Mary's stance, unintentionally, the only difference was that Sashi crossed her hands across her chest... "No, no, it matters not why you are here. You need not answer. For I come with a proposition."
An arrogant smile pread upon Sashi's lips. The air around her shifting, becoming intense. A soft chuckle, almost as if this offer was too good to be reality. Releasing her crossed arms, Sashi dramatically pointed to Mary. "Mary Leroux, I want you to become my sidekick. The sidekick of 'Darkshine' - one of Japan's first Pro Heroes!"

Mary let out a soft sigh through her nose as Sashi instantly seemed to put on her posture after that moment of vulnerability, rolling her eyes a little cheekily when Sashi wasn't actually looking and, given the girl was mimicking her own pose, she mimicked her back, crossing her arms with a playful smirk as she listened to her go on. She was about to explain why she was working here, and how her parents perhaps weren't as elegant and understanding as her old friend might believe, but was told pretty swiftly how little it mattered. Yep, same old Sashi, loving the sound of her own voice...ah well...~
Still, it had been a few years and while clearly Sashi there was a sense of just...wow. Maybe it was just the good food or her flattering outfit but damn she'd grown up nice. Mary was quickly reminded of the budding little crush she'd had when they were younger. Back then it was kind of because she was the only girl she ever really interacted with, but now...well. If Sashi ever gave her a chance she'd jump at the chance for a little 'sleepove' to say the least.~
As she went on though, Mary was taken aback...a hero? Sure she knew those people were being recruited lately but... "Er...Mina? You mind-?"
The girl interupted her, a little amused by all this. "Covering your tables while you deal with your friend? Sure, sure, don't worry about it.~" The girl worked off as Mary mouthed a thank you, turning her eyes to Sashi and taking her hand, guiding her rather forwardly to the back room of the cafe, though notably not walking as she just skid across the floor instead. As she got to the back room and opened it up, it showed two break couches and a small table between them, with a small kitchen area beside it for people who wanted to prepare snacks or leave something in the fridge.
"Look I dunno exactly what you were expecting coming where I work and declaring I be your sidekick but...you wanna sit down and explain what's going on? I mean...Darkshine? What's that, a new hair-dye brand?"

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy The triumphant attitude was hanging around Sashi like an excellently handcrafted coat. Almost as if the young woman was draped in it, designed for it, belonging in it. Sashi had imagined something straight out of a movie. Two old acquiantances getting back together to go hunt the bad guys, or something like that. Where it had simply been destined that they'd join forces once again, old partner. Instead, Sashi was met with reality. A reality that was so unlike the thoughts that had gone in within her mind. Mary had settled down like a commoner. Had gotten a regular job that she seemed reasonably fond of. Father had always declared that there was no happiness to be found without family. No life worth living without wealth. No recognition to be gained without prestige. So exactly how could Mary be so carefree and calm? It was a trait the platinum blonde had always had, ever since they were growing up together. Still, it was lost on Sashi. It was beyond her realm of understanding.
Mary's hand was soft to the touch. Had it been anyone else, Sashi would've pulled her hand back to herself, declaring how no one got to act so carefree around her. Partly because it was Mary, partly because Sashi was taken back by how nothing seemed to add up, she moved with Mary towards the back rooms. The quirk that had once been shackled, Mary was now using to casually skid across the floor, without anyone seeming to notice or care. It was such a strange sight. This world outside that Sashi knew so little of... It kind of scared her after all.
However, the true touch of defeat came, when Mary openly admitted that she had no clue Sashi was a pro hero. Even worse, the hero name, that had been given to Sashi along with the slogan; So bright I can make even the darkness shine! It all seemed so strangely offputting. The gloomy Father's not going to be happy with me if I fail. had taken up root on the blonde's face for a few moments. However, Sashi was a professional. It'd take more than a bit of resistance to bring down her mood.
"W-well.." Sashi stuttered, immediately rectifying the mistake by clearing her throat, making the stutter seem more like something had been stuck in her throat. Returning to her direct, sharp almost business like voice. "I've been comissioned as a pro heroine, under the name Darkshine. It's my hero name, not a brand for hair-dye." Although Sashi attempted her very best to remain sharp and focussed, there were small traces of heartbreak in there. Comparing her hero name to hair-dye.. On the other hand, it honestly wouldn't surprise Sashi if the Ketsujo's were trying to make Darkshine a brand for, well, anything fitting really.
"I am meant to pick a sidekick that I can trust. To represent and enforce law across Japan, where villains use their quirks to run amok." Sashi spoke freely, composed. It was clear that all those years of being raised to be a snob did come with some actual benefits, and not just baseless arrogance. "..S-so I thought.. maybe I could trust you for s-such a.." Clearing her throat once again, Sashi was uncharacteristically vulnerable in this conversation. Almost like a normal human being. However, whenever that shone through, the lectures that Mary had been taught as well, shone far more clearly in her eyes than her own personality. "..I believe you would fill such a role admirably."

With Sashi moving to take a sear, Mary, still in her uniform, had a subconcious urge to make sure they both had a cup of tea poured for them winning over her, moving to the snack section and starting to boil the kettle, searching through the cupboards for the right kind of tea. Sashi and her had likely only just started drinking tea before they left eachother's company, so she might have a new favorite flavor after all these years, but Mary was sure to make exactly what she remembered being one of Sashi's more favored tastes and just enough honey or sugar to her cup, bringing over a tray with a teapot and two cups, mixing their own teas up with a spoon as Sashi started to explain things, looking up to meet her eyes even as she subconsciously continued to act like a bit of a maid.
If Sashi still thought they were 'on the same level' she likely mightn't think that for long the way she was acting, unless she just saw it all as a friendly gesture.
"So...You got onto that hero program?" Mary was just confirming. They hero programs were rather new afterall and personally she hadn't been keeping up on the news with that. As useful as her quirk could be, especially at work, it was hardly something she could use in a heroic fashion. She leaned forward, elbows resting on her knees and chin on her hands, wondering what made Sashi think she should be her sidekick. The brief stagger in her voice gave her a small idea and made her smirk but...still, it did feel a bit odd.
"And...honestly even if you are a hero Sashi...heh." She shrugged and rubbed her arm, as much as it was flattering in it's own way... "I doubt a sidekick like me would do ya much good...I mean I can fight a little sure but..." She chuckled a little into her hand, throwing her head back and brushing some hair behind her own ear. "You hardly want your sidekick to be someone with such a silly quirk. I mean I may as well just have wheels in my shoes.~"

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Sashi breathed in deeply while looking at Mary inquisitively. The childhood friend was acting strangely submissive and subservient. Almost acting as if sitting there, speaking to Sashi like an almost equal, was no longer a possibility. Things had changed. While Sashi had remained very much in the same place, Mary had moved so far away, that there were many things about her that Sashi couldn't recognize. Was this for better, or for worse? Was there even enough of the Mary that Sashi had grown attached to, left inside the other woman, for things to return to a time where Sashi had actually been happy?...
"There was an attack at the station. I merely happened to be in the right place at the right time. With enough encouragement, I was offered a position as one of the few heroes of Japan."
Sashi ran the fingers of her right hair through her own golden locks. Uncertainty was building. The atmosphere wasn't as pleasant as she had hoped. All of her expectations had been shot down at this point. Trying to think of it, how exactly was she going to recover any chance at making this conversation turn into something positive. Of course, Mary being a childhood friend held enormous weight on the decision to request her as the sidekick first and foremost. However, Sashi wasn't a complete moron. What the blonde heroine needed most of all was support. Sashi's quirk was destructive and powerful. However, it wasn't the greatest for rescue operations. Even less so when one figured out what drawbacks came with the power.
"If I remember correctly, your quirk gave you an advantage in a field where I lack. My powers do not allow me any significant mobility. You, on the other hand, could cover for that gap." At this point, Sashi had mostly shared her thoughts because it was what she had come here to do. It didn't feel to her like Mary was at all excited for the prospect. With a soft sigh, Sashi went on. "I understand if you are not interested. It must be weird to see me, after all these years. If you'd prefer, I can take my leave."
That was about the gist of it. Sashi was very clearly having trouble figuring out how to fit in at this maid café. This had become Mary's life. It was so different and awkward. Sashi truly wasn't sure how to behave here. Despite how much beneath stature it was, if it was Mary's life now, then Mary was the one person in the world she would not hold an arrogant dominion over.

Even as she used the tray of tea cups (and a small bowl of biscuits) to serve them each up a cup. Mary was careful enough to listen to everything her old friend had to say, especially as it was clear this had some weight for her. Eventually her tipping of the tea pot slowed as the second cup filled, and rather than address any attention towards the drinks, she sat up straight and listened carefully to what was being said to her.
So there'd been an incident she wasn't quite prepared for...or rather, she was, but she was lucky to be in the right place at the right time. While Mary's quirk was a little more focused on movement, she did think about how she was just a little over running speed at the best of times when she'd tested it out...but she could turn on a dime, and she could certainly navigate pretty well. Heck, the fact she could generate momentum from any point of contact meant she could 'run' through places people would normally crawl, and without foot steps it certainly had it's benefits in the aspect of stealth...
But.
She wasn't exactly a hero was she? She was a girl who was tossed out by her family in all but official terms just so they could save face with the other families, and her quirk made her a pretty good waitress but...that was it in the end wasn't it?
She lowered her head, took a slow deep breath, and asked one simple question, her eyes genuine and sincere, wanting to help, but in no way confident in her odds.
"Are you...sure there's no one better for the job? I'm sure your dad could offer them anything they want to be your partner...assuming her supports this, of course."

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy This was annoying to the blonde. Being questioned repeatedly for her motives wasn't something that Sashi was used to. Without flaws, of course her decision making was without flaws too. It boiled down to two very specific things. First, Mary was one of the only individuals that Sashi had ever placed any amount of trust in, besides her own family. Being that her own family had no quirks, that practically left only one option. Naturally a stranger could be assigned to the young heroine. Naturally someone with the perfect quirk could've been picked. However, that also meant that a complete stranger needed to know a series of secrets well kept. Something Sashi wasn't overly comfortable doing. Parents even less so...
So exactly what was the blonde meant to do. Continually, Sashi was placed into situations where there weren't really any choices to be had. The whole concept of being a heroine seemed so foreign and strange to her. For the most part, the girl had been sheltered for a vast majority of her life. Now, here she was, meant to be out there interacting with the public on a daily basis. Being out there in an attempt to make the world a better place. The more heroic she could seem, the more proud her father would be. The more money he would make off of her. Of course, Sashi was aware of this little aspect of the bargain. Even so, it was the first time in several years that her actions seemed to have any weight and consequence. Father was proud of her.
"If there is anyone better, I do not know of them. For reasons I cannot divulge here. Say, if you remain unconvinced or on the edge, why not come discuss things in a more private space?" Sashi offered in a calm and collected manner. The almost bouncing back and forth between decisions had her exceedingly confused. Normally, everyone around her knew exactly what they wanted at any one point. Being met with someone openly weighing their options wasn't that common for her. The world was constantly changing. In these few, insecure moments, Sashi seemed completely and utterly lost. Out here in the world with regular, normal people, who'd bite her head off rather than bow to her superiority, what exactly was she meant to be doing?
Slowly picking up the teacup in as graceful of a manner as humanly possibly, Sashi lifted the cup towards her lips. A soft breath, taking in the aroma and taste of the tea, followed by softly blowing the heat away. Lastly, the porcelain just barely graced the edge of her lips, as she took short sip. A short moment, Sashi simply sat there, tasting the different nuances of the tea. It wasn't quite as bad as she had expected, no, feared it to be. It most certainly wasn't of the quality that she had come to expect from home either..

Mary didn't really believe there wasn't someone better out there, but she supposed Sashi did pick her words carefully. If there was someone, she just didn't know about them. Right...Whatever the case it was clear sashi wanted her, and as such Mary probably had a lot less choice in the matter than Sashi even realized. If wind of her refusal or polite decline got back to either of their parents Mary would likely see the effects of some sort of recompense for her actions against the 'holy one'. Of course that was no fault of Sashi, and she'd never blame her for it but...
Actually, what was she worried about? She worked in a made cafe serving otaku's omelettes and made enough money to keep herself housed and fed. What could her parents do at this point? They couldn't punish her in any way that didn't somehow reveal what she did as far as she knew, meaning she was practically bullet proof. On the other hand, if she worked with Sashi, she was decisively not bullet proof.
All the same...she did have her curiosity, and with a sip of her own tea she thought for just a moment, and spoke with her head high. "If you really want me to play super heroes with you...I guess I can consider it...I wanna know what that special reason is sometime, but for now...well, you couldn't even handle it when i found an earthworm in your garden, how can I trust you to handle super villains on your lonesome eh princess?~" She gave her old friend a cheeky smirk as she sipped from her teacup again.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Sashi wasn't exactly capable of distinguishing between when something was meant to be a joke, compared to when something was meant absolutely seriously. So at the remark of the earthworm, Sashi turned to face Mary with a look that clearly stated the joke had flown completely over her head. "The earthworm was disgusting. The horror of having explained how common children occasionally ate them in lieu of bets.. Horrible." Narrowing her eyes, the expression of disgust was painted across her face. The mere thought was so repulsive to her, that her stomach practically churned in defiance of the images passing through her mind for the moment. "Additionally, I would have you refer to me as Sashi-sama, not Hime. I am not princess." At least not as far as she was aware. The Ketsujo blood was a lineage stretching far and deep. It wasn't completely impossible.
Clearing her throat, Sashi had a few more things to share before moving onwards to the next destination. Whether Mary was going to come along or not would be up to her. Though, it would put the blonde heroine at rest to have someone like Mary watch her back, rather than a paid professional. "We won't be playing around, Mary-san. There will be rough practices, pushing you to your limits and beyond. The villains will not play nicely." Sashi stood in the door, with a serious look on her face. The atmosphere was completely different, almost uninviting. Borderline hostile. It was just like what Mary had experienced, being judged by Sashi's parents. Compared to when the two girls had last been together, that festering wound was spreading in her personality. If Mary did nothing, Sashi would most certainly become a carbon copy of her father's teachings... but there was still hope.
A soft smile then errutped onto Sashi's lips. The internal struggle almost on display. Following and chasing dreams versus remaining a puppet for the rest of her life. "..but with how you manage to survive even out here, that should not be a problem for you. If you're prepared, then let us leave for my appartment. We need to sort you a costume before we can begin your training. If you're still uncertain, I can give you a couple of days to think." Sashi leaned against the corner of the door, watching Mary with mild interest. It was time to give an answer as to how interested she were. This would either be the place where the two of them would reunite after several years apart... or be the place where they finally cut their bonds to one another. Sashi knew what she'd prefer... but it was so difficult to formulate such sensations into words eloquently.

Mary snickered into her hand as it was clear they could both recall the earthworm, rolling her eyes playfully as she enjoyed the memory a little herself, if only for how cute Sashi had been squirming and telling her to get it away. At what came next she could only offer a big smirk, bowing her head respectfully, but in a borderline mocking manner as she did. "As you wish Sashi-sama~" Chuckling a little she lifted her head back up and continued to listen as she enjoyed her own tea.
Watching her move to the door Mary narrowed her eyes, taking in her words even if she knew it all already. "Thats why I said you're better off with a professional, you know me Sashi...I want to help, I do, but you just said so yourself this isn't us playing in your house, these are potentially real, very dangerous villains...but..." She put her tea down and dusted herself off, walking over and smiling more confidently than playfully. "If you really think I'm the person to do it for you...then I'm willing to try."
She offered her hand for a firm shake, the kind that was lifted up between them and was more like a strong link than a shake in the end, assuming Sashi even took it. At the mention of her apartment however, Mary sighed, knowing it wasn't Sashi's 'fault', and more her parents, but still finding it kinda worrying she didn't get that she couldn't just leave right now. "Tell you what...give me till the end of my shift to think about it-" That way Sashi wouldn't think her work was more important than her. "And let me do the courtesy of telling them I'll stick around till they find a replacement but...I promise i'll come by your apartment this afternoon, okay?"
She quickly thought and pulled out the notepad she used for orders, pulling the pen out the rings that held the paper together and jotting down Sashi's name on a back page so she didn't get rid of it by accident. "Now, why don't you tell me your number and your address, and I'll come by when I can, Sashi-sama?~"

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy It was getting a little obnoxious to the blonde, not being given a straight answer. It was somewhat akin to watching a cat sit at the door, uncertain of whether it wanted to go in or stay outside. At this point she had run out of patience for the conversation. Something that was most certainly about to show, when Mary finally settled on some kind of approach. So, rather than telling the other female off for being so incredibly indecisive, after all Mary could've picked whichever choice she wanted, Sashi instead let out a soft sigh. If a partnership with someone she knew was going to be this much of a pain in the rear, then a partnership with someone completely unknown would be many times worse. Working alone was not an option for someone like her. The mighty quirk she possessed also held might drawbacks that, if abused even once, could be fatal. There had to be someone there to have her back. "I appreciate you addressing me correctly, Mary-san." Of course Sashi had her doubts about bringing Mary. Those doubts were equally large for anyone she could bring along though. At least Sashi knew that, with Mary, there was a bit of a foundation to build trust upon. There was a clear sign of disgruntledment in her reaction. "Mary-san, as an old fri-- acquaintance, I advice you to do what you're comfortable with. I do not know your potential as a hero. I only know your quirk and personality could fit well by my side." With the final exchange, it seemed that Mary was, at least, willing to meet Sashi by her appartment a little later in the afternoon. Nodding in compliance, the blonde began writing on a post it note. Handwriting was pristine, beautiful, educated. Sticking the post it note on the doorframe, Sashi ended the conversation. "My number, my address. You'll need permission to enter through the gate. I hope you see you there in the afternoon." Flicking locks of blonde hair, Sashi turned around on her heel to begin leaving the café once again. Dealing with so many commoners, being so social, it was dreadful. Shuddering as she left the café, she still had some ways to go when it came to interacting with prospective fans. Father had told her; In popularity of ones fans, a hero could gain tremendous political power. So, earn the favor of her fans... That was the next objective. Well, aside from securing a sidekick, of course.

Mary narrowed her eyes a little at the way Sashi changed the way she was going to classify her. Was she not deserving of the friend title all of a sudden? Suffice to say she wasn't too pleased, crossing her arms under her chest and narrowing her gaze forther into a borderline scowel. Lucky for Sashi Mary knew full well how she could be and was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was just trying to be formal, but all the same that didn't mean she had to be happy about it, pouting and puffing out her cheeks a little even to try and make it obvious, similar to how she would have done when they were kids.
Still, she was ready to make her own note when Sashi suddenly pulled out her sticky notes. What, was her own note taking not good enough either? At least that wasn't a serious thought, but it did make her giggle on the inside. Taking the note from the door she'd stick it into the back of her notepad instead for safekeeping, closing it up with a smirk. "Don't wanna leave your home address there on the doorframe for anyone to see now do we?~"
Watching Sashi leave, she chuckled a little at how she seemed to actually shudder, rolling her eyes and giving her a sec to leave before sliding back into work, swooping past the counter with her quirk and picking up some meals, skimming back towards her old tables and bowing deeply as she put on a cute voice for the customers. "I'm soooo sorry for the wait masters!~ I hope you'll forgive this silly maid...~"
As she lifted her head with big round eyes, it was clear neither of them were gonna be too upset for the wait.
Much later, after her shift, Mary had followed the orders to find Sashi's apartment, walking up to what her writer assumed would be a big apartment building and up to the fancy gate out front. She'd left her uniform at work, andf while it was a bit nippy outside today, all she had to wear home was her cargo pants and her tank top. Pretty eager to get inside, she placed a finger on whatever intercom system the apartments used, speaking into it as clear as she could.
"H-hey Sashi? Mind letting me in? It's freezing out here today...!"
