you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey snowy night thick with blurry black skies was usually not one to go out on, especially at this time of year. It was better spend holed up somewhere comfortable with a cup of hot tea or cocoa with a thick blanket. Those sort of luxuries weren't unavailable to her, but Byeol-Su Mae didn't see the pleasure in such things when there was a whole new city to explore right in front of her. They had been in the city for three days, but she hadn't been allowed outside. "Not yet", he said, every time she asked. Sometimes he could be so serious... Still, she had managed not to lose her mind with all this waiting. The hotel-room was one of the biggest they'd stayed in with soft golden light coming from every lamp, two huge beds that were too big for either occupant, a catered kitchen, and best of all an enormous window that looked down upon the city of Tokyo. Tokyo Tower, the big lush park--now white rather than green, but still no less pretty--and every light for miles around. She had been seated by the window from dawn til dusk, tablet in one hand, and a marathon of PPV movies on the big television screen on the far wall. He was working the whole time. Working, eating, sleeping, repeat. She was bored. Until a weird link popped up on the tablet. How, she didn't know, because it was a private number. That was what he said. Still, he let her click it. It led to a chatroom full of strange names, unfamiliar characters, and a funny description at the top: For all those hiding in Japan's dark corners, you'll find business of all sorts, legal or otherwise. You fit the criteria. Come in and play! But remember, we're always watching! <3He said it was okay. "We need to find friends here" he said. So she got to talk to new people for the first time in a long time--since Iceland, when it was cold enough for her to travel by herself and small enough that he wasn't worried about her being seen--and she loved it. They were just like them! People who did sneaky things, crafty things, things that weren't looked upon positively. He thought of it as a bold move on the part of their "potential friends", but to Byeol-Su, a blessing. One even asked to take her out on the town. She begged, because that was how she did things. Begged and whined and pleaded for him to say yes. But it wasn't necessary. "Friends" he said "are more important than anything else, so go make me proud". So Byeol-Su was allowed to go outside. Just as long as she was careful, and back before dawn. She was so, so, so happy. She picked out a cute dress, the one with white buttons and a white collar, and padded over to the man he'd bought to bring her to the lobby and where her new friend was coming to meet them. It was a dumb man. Boring, bought easily, and disposable. He said that he didn't care what she did with him, so long as he didn't talk. Silly, silly ██████. Of course he wouldn't talk. He'd made sure of it.
So down to the lobby they went, the man dressed in unassuming clothes, and her wearing him. I can't wait to meet her...her? Him? Them. A new friend. A new friend!"Hey," her voice hissed impatiently from behind the man's ear, making him squirm as he stepped out of the elevator. This time of night the hotel was empty of people, even at the front desk, so they walked through it without worry. "Go until you see a mask of bones. Walk faster!" He nearly tripped over his feet as he entered the lobby properly, eyes scanning, her own eyes behind them. | ✉ | this template is gonna be the death of me |

Who was she to judge? A picture full of lights. It was a normal sight for the holidays. But she looked at the skin of the person, something like clay, or slime. Was it wet like paint, or was she a liquid? Questions filled her mind, and while she wanted to say how disgusting it could have been, Kasey understood the uses. She understood how it was to be seen as a monster. But being something so strange, would be nothing compared to a demon that lived within someone. The sound of her heels clicked against the concrete. She exited the car without looking back, just sent off to another one of her destinations. Another meeting, another hotel. That was how the company saw her. She was just another face that ran things from the shadows. Kasey lifted her hand to her face, the membrane that covered her identity, solid, firm, and protective. It was more than just to hide her face. It was her armor. Her attire was what anyone would expect a businesswoman to wear. A simple black suit, with a light blue shirt under. A black clip on tie, and a pin on her collar with the Ketsujo Corperations's "KC" in it's blue and gold colors. Her hair was tied up, and dyed violet for the night, a trait she would only preform for her dark deeds. Kasey walked in through the hotel doors. She wasn't entirely sure if it was another location on the books, but everyone seemed helpful enough. If not from her skeleton mask, from the pin that well spoke a million words. "Excuse me, I'm here to meet with someone. Gisigja, by any chance?" she asked the lady at the front desk, but Kasey was sure they would not use a name as blatantly. But still, it was worth a shot. ~ Word Count: 310 ~ |

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey he woman at the front desk was clearly not expecting another person to come into the hotel so late, as she had been watching something on the screen of her computer that was certainly not related to the hotel--too many half-naked, overly defined men fighting one another with swords and magic. She shut her computer and stood up, clearly exhausted from working the graveyard shift, and processed Kasey's words after only a second or two of consideration. "Do you know what room they are staying in?" Her eyes lowered to the pin on Kasey's coat, swallowing visibly at the insignia. In a hotel this prestigious, the Ketsujo Corp. name was well known. Very well known. Suddenly she looked much more awake. "I-I can look through the most recent bookings for a person fitting their description, if you wish, ma'am." Before an answer could be given either way, a man dressed in a white button-down shirt and black slacks came around from the elevator into the lobby. He was an unassuming sort; the kind whose features were so plain that it was, somehow, impossible to describe him. His eyes scanned the room before they stopped on Kasey, and, eyebrows climbing, he approached her. "Y-You're...the one with the mask. I. I can take you to her. J-Just follow me." The woman behind the counter sighed in relief.
Byeol-Su Mae could feel the sweat on the back of her neck, the way her knees couldn't stop wobbling, though none of it was her herself. The man was surprisingly nervous for a mook hired for the sole purpose of being her ride. As he rounded the corner her eyes within his saw a woman standing at the front desk speaking with a fearful looking clerk. She and her host would get along. However that thought fleeted past at the sight of the woman's face and, more specifically, her mask. Shaped like bone and spooky to behold--was that why the clerk was spooked? Hahah! "That's her! Come on, bring her onto the street!" The man didn't hesitate this time. Instead he rushed to the woman and spoke the line he'd been fed by Byeol-Su before they'd left the hotel room. She wanted to reach out and speak to her new friend herself, but with a witness--and in the hotel lobby--was not the right place or time. He would be mad at her if she was seen using her Quirk in public, and annoyed at needing to dispose of a witness or tamper with any security camera that could be around here. So they needed to be somewhere more secluded for her to show herself. If only this man would stop stammering. | ✉ | hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi hi |

Kasey had been met with a man in white, and while the woman seemed to change her mood at the sight of a simple pin, she couldn't help but smile. Humans were such simple creatures. Humans? No, that was a strange thought. She was human. They were all human. There were those with quirks, and those without. She was human. She wasn't a ... monster. She patted the desk, knocking on it as she was led away. She figured it was a girl based on the picture, but perhaps she was mistaken. "Thanks for your time though. Looks like I found my friend." Kasey pointed at the woman playfully, almost like a finger gun of sorts before walking off with the strange man. IT could have been worse. He could have had a bucket on his head. She turned to follow the man, though she was a bit lost if he was going to take her out, or to their room. Their room, right? She was working with someone, someone with some type of censoring quirk. Odd, wasn't it? No, Seki had the ability to remove and replace memories, and to share them. Surely this was something of the sort. But with some kind of unknown range, it was a quirk that never shut off. How unpleasant. Where would he lead her? ~ Word Count: 222 ~ |

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey ut the door of the hotel and into the cold, crisp air went the pair--really, the quartet--and Byeol-Su relished in the scent of winter. Everything was so beautiful this time of year. It was the best time to travel to new places and see new things; everything covered in shiny white snow, the air cold enough for her to venture out without fear, the way everything was brighter against the black sky. But he was looking down as he walked. Annoying. Next time she had to ask for a man with more spine. He led Kasey out and to the corner of the building where just a small space was between it and the up-town shop besides it. It was closed, but the toys in the window were still moving around in their little Christmas display. He fidgeted with his hands. He looked at Kasey, then back at his feet. "......it's not gonna hurt, y-you swear?" he muttered so quiet that even Byeol-Su, in his ears, barely heard him. From behind his ear, hidden by his hair, her lips whispered out her response. "Even if it did it doesn't matter, right? Now let me out!" The man gulped, reached into the pocket of his slacks, and pulled out something small and sharp. A tiny blade that could barely be called a knife. Without another word or even a glance in Kasey's direction, he dragged the knife across the back of his arm. Little drops of red blood pushed their way through the cut to the open air. It was thick enough that the whole cut bled, but not in a dangerous way. The man breathed in, then, let out something between a manic laugh and a sigh. It didn't hurt. Not the cut, not the slice. It didn't feel like anything to him at all. Byeol-Su hated it. It felt like a line of fire on her arm. But there was no other way to do this. The blood leaking from his arm suddenly stopped, and in its place, thick, wet chunks of gray began to fall from it instead. It spewed out fast enough and in such large amounts that the man let out a startled, terrified noise and stepped backwards into the wall like he could escape his own arm. The liquid congealed on the pavement, more and more and more, until it was a sizable pool at his feet, and then it stopped falling. He gasped and squeezed his wounded arm in his other hand. The pain had returned to him, as did more blood that leaked through his clenched fingers. The pool shifted, wriggled, and then as if she had been laying down inside it, Byeol-Su rose up from it, the goop taking the form of a lithe, little girl. Her skin was grayer than it should have been, her limbs and body thinner than they should be, and her hair wild and tangled and free. Her eyes, wide and round and too deep a purple, met Kasey's, and a grin split her lips. Bit of her dripped from her chin, only to be reabsorbed into her neck. "Bones! You are Bones?" She spoke in awkward, broken Japanese, excitement in every word. She clapped her hands together with a wet sound. "You are Bones! Hello! Am so happy to see you!" | ✉ | Greetings from this small moist girl |

Exiting the hotel, Kasey was dragged along a strange adventure. To show a Korean around Japan? That wasn't too hard. Leviathan was Korean, or so she newly discovered. Caitlyn was Korean. The language wasn't difficult for her to understand, and more often than not, she had spoken it aloud rather than her native tongue of Japanese. Maybe it was just something Seki taught her that was drilled and engraved into her skull, into her mind. Who was to say. It was just natural for her to say her words. As they were met with the crisp and sharp pain of the cold weather, Kasey would exhale again, catching sight of her breath as she looked in through the toy shop window. It really was a nice display. Should she have gotten things for her friends? For Miku? For thee students from Semper Fi? The teachers? Did gifts make people happy? Was that the key to joy? No, Kasey had everything, she was not happy with objects. No, she found joy in the presence of people. She lifted her hand to touch the glass, only to turn to catch the glint of a blade. It was small, and would be a failed attempted to kill her if that was what this was about. Nothing to fear, only to find he drew the blade upon himself. Was she getting framed? A Ketsujo Executive? No, it was just what she thought. That girl was fluid, some ooze, some material. From his wound, not just blood, but herself poured from it. She couldn't help but smile, speaking to herself in amusement. "Just like you, huh, Sets?" with no reply from her demon, she observed. It was obviously planned, puppeted. A voyager on the back of another person's life. From the liquid clay, a stature was molded into that of a young girl. Her skin what appeared to be a faded clay color, and her limbs frail and minimal. Her eyes matched Kasey's hair, and smile was pressed along her face, "The one and only." Kasey would say to her, "I can see why you go by ParaSyte, gisigja. Nehyo gwaenchanh ni?*" She would ask, looking at the girl. While it was obvious the man was in pain, Kasey wondered what injuries, if any the girl would have. It was only now she could attempt to learn all she could. After all, from the girl, if they were able to merge... It would be two beings Kasey could call upon. "Are you ready to see town?" Kasey would speak to her, breaking her words in a way that would be easier to understand. "I'm not sharing with her.""How nice of you to get possessive all of a sudden."
"Until she takes you over, and takes me with her."
"I doubt she would have any bones for you to live in, gisigja."

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey eyoul-Su could hardly contain her happiness in this moment. A new person to talk to, after days and days of waiting in that hotel room with only the chat as her means of peeking into the world outside. Now she was here and face-to-face with somebody! Somebody she didn't know, who spoke both her native tongue and the one she was learning. He told her it was best to speak as much Japanese as possible, though, so she could learn it faster. "It will be useful" was what he'd said. Like she was going to be doing much talking. "I am parasite, yes. Am okay. Only cut," she raised her arm, the same one the man, her host, had sliced to give her an exit from his body. There was a line much like the cut, but it appeared to not be bleeding. It was dripping more liquid, thinner matter than the rest of her body. It hurt but it was small, and it would go away. It wasn't like she was going to bleed out without blood. She lowered her arm to her side and turned her head to look at the man she'd inhabited. He still looked terrified, perhaps even more so by Kasey's lack of a reaction to what she'd just seen. Was he scared that he was surrounded by monster? He didn't have a Quirk, did he? If he did it was not visible, and if he did...then she would maybe feel bad about this. Maybe. "You go to room. Will call when back. Don't run. Will be mad and won't get paid if you run." The man swallowed, his fear still strong in his eyes, but he still pulled his sleeve down over his wound and rushed back to the hotel doors. He was a simple man. Money was worth more to him than his body, for whatever reason. Debt, family, greediness. Gross. Byeol-Su looked back up to her new escort with her smile returned to her face. "Yes! Yes yes yes! See lots of lights, please? See lights from window, like the red pole!" She paused, the word not feeling right on her tongue. "Pole? Long...long, big, building, but no room. Not building. T....town...tow...?" Why was this language so similar, but so different? "But see that. That. Yes?" She bounced on the soles of her feet, which squelched with her movements because she lacked shoes. Her first few steps left behind a trace of her that followed along like a trail, only to be reabsorbed back into her with the next step, and the next.

Books. That was how she learned English. It was how she learned to cook. It was how she learned to polish and shine, as well as fit little devices. She learned more words every day, taking a dictionary in her hands. She wasn't dumb, but she wasn't smart. She as simply just well read. And with enough practice, her skills were getting refined. After all, she was born from nobility, why would now be any different? "Her quirk works off wounds? How great is it that you heal from it all..." Setsuna mocked the girl, thinking only of how stupid the situation was. Actually going out to meet everyone in that chatroom? From Bucket to Crow, and Lala to this, it was just one bad experience away from ruining her entire life. Kasey eyed the wound, and herself, felt nothing towards it. It was a wound she shared with her host, but one that did not bleed. She did not pain the way they did. No. Humans. They were all humans. She was just not as ... human. No, a stupid thought. Her quirk turned her body into a singular substance. She was able to merge and bond to herself. She was made of clay and so was everything else. It was clay. She was made of clay. She was no monster. Clay. It was the only thing Kasey could think about. And she started to have wonders about the effects of ice, frost, or fire towards the girl. Would she bake like clay? Would she die?Kasey watched the man, a person filled with fear. Was it the girl? What happened when she fused with him? Was it the mask she wore? There wasn't much she knew about him, much less her. But it didn't stop her from wondering. With the frost, the snow, would the girl be alright? Did she simply expect Kasey to allow herself to be puppetted? Or perhaps, there was more to it than that. "Tower. Pillar. Construct." The last word, dancing on her lips. Her word of choice for the thigns Setsuna puppeted and used himself. Kasey would extend her hand to the girl, offering to lead her around like a child. Perhaps they would get far less strange looks, than if she was wandering so close behind without aid. "There is a restaurant, not far. Has tree, a lot of lights." Kasey would tell her, "Does he feed you? You do eat, yes?" Kasey found herself with a strange amount of questions for someone whose quirk seemed so simple on the surface. "Are you alright to walk?" Kasey would ask her, "Or are you going to do the same thing with me, like you did with him?"She didn't know how, or why it worked the way it did, but Kasey wanted to find out. Perhaps it wasn't the best idea, but still, it was one of her ideas. Surely she never had a bad one, right? Not like she pulled her own eye out before to please her sister in law... Now that would be strange. ~ Word Count: 514 ~ |

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey ower! That was the word he had used to describe it before. Tokyo Tower, the bright red beam in the heart of the city, easily visible from their hotel room window. It sparkled with so many lights. It was definitely done up for the holiday season--clearly there was no better time for them to be here than now. Had he planned that part, too? Byeol-Su looked at Kasey's outstretched hand for a moment in confusion, not seeing any cut or wound in it like she was used to seeing on limbs being offered to her. Did she just want her to hold it? Even with her skin? Nobody liked doing that. She was always too soft and strange to touch normally, and to her skin felt so...strange. Still, if that was what her new friend wanted her to do, then Byeol-Su was happy to try it! She took Kasey's hand and squeezed it tight. Her fingers were not wet, oddly, but their texture was distinctly something between liquid and solid. Like clay, or jello, or even perhaps congealing blood. It was also very cold to the touch, not unlike the snow. "I eat! It goes in mouth," she pointed to her lips just in case she was saying something wrong, "Chew, then dissolve. No real stomach. But still need food like normal person. Yes--" The next word caught on her tongue. No, more accurately, it caught in her whole body, from her mind that thought it to her throat that breathed it to her mouth that tried to speak it. It caught and everything inside her tightened up like she were choking, but she didn't stop walking. The only sign something was wrong was the hand holding Kasey's own squeezing tighter and tighter. It wasn't pain. It was like brain freeze, or a cough, or something else inside of you that felt bad but wasn't really pain. And instead of the word she tried to speak, something else came out instead. Something...not a word. Not a sound that a voice should make. Like static. "☐█Ø▒╪." And she kept going. "--feeds me! We eat in room, not in shop. Can't be in crowd...will get sick, or seen. That's why man hosted me to you. Nobody can see me." Byeol-Su looked up at Kasey, still grinning bright, like nothing had happened at all. It wasn't the first time Kasey had seen this happen, so why would she have to explain it to her? This was normal. Her next questions were too, and she shook her head in response. "Too late for people, so not scared. And cold is good for me! Keeps me solider. You won't host unless you bleed. And only if you ask. I'm not mean." Though getting some take-out or something might be nice. All he ever ordered was western food, like some boring tourist. They weren't even western! They were Korean! But he said Japanese food was too normal for him, and the hotel kitchen was used to his sort of orders. He got her fries and burgers and other yummy foods, sure, but she wanted to try something new! "If see a weird food, though, could buy for me? Can pay you back, but not have money on me. Does not go into host. Would need to wait outside, if too many person. I don't mind." | ✉ | to be fair i'd be that kind of person, too, at least in the hotel. |

Landmarks were what got the attention from outsiders. Landmarks attracted tourists. Who was to say that even villains weren't allowed to be tourists? And if there was a rule against it, well, who was to say they wouldn't break that rule anyways? It was a strange world. A world that surrounded the Japanese girl and drowned her with Koreans and their culture. One fact of her life, she would not change for the world. Clay. Cold. Malleable. That was what she was. On the face of the girl with enough bones to share, a smile was drawn on her face. She found a child who was easy to shape, and one that was willing to allow herself voyage. She was not a tool, but a child, one, like others who could be molded into prized objects. But this one, this particular child, this one could quite literally become a treasure. To allow her to enter her muscles, blood, or whatever passage she needed, would only prove that fact to the woman. But she already had made her choice. Her hand squeezed Kasey's own, and she would squeeze softly in reply, careful to hold the girl, but not too tight. She was careful to not break the bond that held the girl's body together. As the girl explained her ability to feed, Kasey thought nothing of it. With a soft body, all she needed to do was to take it, break it down into energy and whatever else, and her body would use it as needed. She didn't need a digestive system like the others, or the rest of them. She was like a Venus flytrap in her eyes. Breaking down things and sucking on the nutrients. The clay flower. The girl who called herself ParaSyte. She was- "What the fuck?"The voice of Setsuna echoed from a low whisper from deep behind the woman's lips as she looked back at the girl. It was a strange sound that came from the girl, and one she could only expect to match the same when she saw it in the chatroom. It was a painful sound, one that was like nails on a chalkboard. It sent a shiver down her spine, and as her hands tightened a grip on Kasey, she couldn't help but let out a wince out of reaction. But the girl went on, as if it was normal, something... normal to her? "Then don't worry, I'll keep you safe." Kasey would say. There was no reason for her to ask. She saw her try to explain in the chat. It was a question best asked back at the hotel. Besides, even if she could explain it, there was no reason for the girl to trust Kasey. It was a question to be saved. But one she would not soon forget. "Well, if you need to use me for a ride, just tell me." Kasey would say, "but I warn you, you won't be the only one." Kasey would smile, a wider grin before fading it away as she looked onwards. From behind her mask, she watched the snow lightly fall as they continued, only to make way to a place Kasey barely knew. "You no need to pay back. I pay. Can buy anything." Kasey smiled, pointing at the pin on her collar, letting a light laugh as she did so. "Even with all money, this pin usually gets me things for free anyways." She would slow down, the place coming up soon, just a few doors down. "If you do not like to be seen, I can pay for a table in back. You can still see tree, but then no humans will see you. Or, we can sit next to tree." No. Humans. No, they were humans. She was human. They were all mortals. No. not all humans were mortals. Kasey was not a mortal. No, she was a god. She was more than a god. She was a demon. ~ Word Count: 664 ~ |

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey alking through the snow and cold, empty streets, without another soul in sight or in sound, Byeol-Su could only focus on her companion; like she had anything else she wanted to pay attention to. It had been so very, very long since she had the chance to make a friend. A friend who knew she was there, and was real, and what she was like. It was easy to forget that she, too, was like them. She looked so normal in comparison, even with her bright and colorful hair and interesting choice in facial accessories. What was her gift like? That was what he liked to call them--"gifts", something precious and wonderful and unique--and even if Byeol-Su didn't always agree with that, she couldn't help but use that word. It was so nice. Her promise to keep her safe was also nice. And it reminded her of him. The same sort of care, same sort of adult response to her...troubles. He would have already insisted on her being hosted by now, though. So protective. Byeol-Su tilted her head, her hair falling over one of her eyes as she did so, a curious, wide-eyed smile on her face. "Misheard?" The only one? Well, no, of course she wouldn't be. Byeol-Su was always a passenger in her host's body, so it wasn't like Bones wouldn't be within her own head during the process. It was a funny way to phrase it. "Isn't rude to not pay?" She placed a finger to her chin in thought. He would probably like if she didn't go promising money to another person for weird food. They had money to spare, though, didn't they? Enough to have a very fancy hotel room while he looked for a more permanent residence. But Bones might be like him in that sense, too. Her pin, which she gestured to, must be from somewhere important. "Wish I had pin for us. What pin for? Club? Secrets?" As they approached the restaurant in question, Byeol-Su slowed her step until she came to a stop. She could see a few windows that were still full of warm, bright light. Compared to the dark park and empty streets, it was so welcoming and pretty, but it also meant people. People were bad. Be safe, he'd said, be safe. Byeol-Su bit her lip--a strange thing to see, as her teeth appeared to have the same softness as the rest of her, and yet still managed to press into her flesh with the same apparent strength as a normal person's own--and looked at Bones, slipping her hand free. "Lot of persons? Is bad. Any persons is bad. Can't be seen, or get too close. Will get sick. Will get trouble. █Ø will worried." The noise again, shorter than the first, implying another word different from the first. It made her throat itch. She shook her head twice. "Hide in back. But no...no...serve? Person who...bring food. Cannot see. Cannot get close. Is too much? Is...bad?" Byeol-Su looked between Kasey and down the street to the lit windows. She wanted to see the tree and the lights, and try new things, but she couldn't risk it. She couldn't. She didn't want to get sick, or make him sad. "...is...could host, to get inside. Then come out at table. Want to. But won't make you." She was honest, she would never force another to host for her, not unless that was their purpose. Bones was her new friend. Still, the pleading look in her eyes was unmistakable. She wanted to beg and fight and whine. That's what she would do with him. But not with a new friend. | ✉ | Move over Setsuna I call shotgun |

The assistant rose in rank, and was known as such no longer. That was, with the exception of Thundershock himself. She was reborn, rekindled, and retitled; Bones. It would become a name she would never get quite used to. But after all, that was the villain name she had gone with; Army of Bones. She and Setsuna were one and the same. And during the case of Semper Fi, proved to be far more powerful than even the military could plan for. Her quirk coupled with his made a dangerous combination. One side wounded their host, but the host themselves healed from such wounds. A combination, that had come full circle to aid the small girl. "Executives. Bosses. Important, influential people." Kasey would answer. The pins were handed out and given to those of stature within Ketsujo Corp. Only a dozen had been given out over the last decade, and seven of them belonged to Kasey. She would listen to the girl, only to have static ring in her ears, though, shorter than before. She was a secret it seemed, but was for some reason permitted to venture with Kasey, herself? How strange to trust one stranger over the other because of Susumu's chatroom. A simple leap of faith because they were both in the dark realms of Japan's underbelly. Though, being a Korean who still found way to the little chat, even without a prior record was interesting. But she would leave that to the ghost hands of Big Sister, and whatever she was doing. Surely she was watching from above... even with one eye. Upon Kasey's left hand, from within, her bones would grow sharpened, edged, and from under her skin they would creep. A clean cut with the hand that held the girl, Kasey could only smile. What was a little pain to endure to give the girl an entire joyful night? Blood would lick the edges of the wound, only to greet the girl. "Then what are you waiting for." Kasey would say. If the girl decided to pass through the open wound, it would be her choice alone. Kasey would simply make her way in, smile and grin and ask for the back table. Another night of asking, Did you hold my table for two? When clearly she had made no real plans. The power of a gold pin, and a corporation that owned far more than anyone would ever admit to. Kasey would do her best to make her trip to their hidden table so the girl would be able to sit free and open. It wasn't going to have the best view of the tree, But at least it had no eyes on them. They could watch from behind a sheer curtain, and low lightning of the backrooms, only to stare at the bright holiday decor. From the wound, it would begin to shape and reform, only to take the shape of a mouth, to speak on behalf of the resident that had to house their new guest, even if it was for no more than a moment. "We are not here for games, Bones." the voice would say, speaking from her hand, as if he had been there the whole time. And well, he was. ~ Word Count: 544 ~ |

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey o she really was like him, in the sense that they were both important people. Maybe she was even more important. They didn't get things to eat for free or make people behind the desks of hotels scared. He said fear was a bad motivator. Whatever that meant. Byeol-Su didn't think Bones was scary, though, she was nice. She held her hand and wanted to buy her new foods! Even if she was an important person, more important than they were, she was still becoming her new friend. It was so wonderful. He would be so happy to learn that her new friend was so important, too. That was something he could make use of. All Byeol-Su cared about was having fun. Bones could have been a nobody with no pin and it would still be super fun! Maybe. Sort of? She wouldn't be able to buy her new food. That wouldn't be as fun. But he wasn't, either, so at least Bones was taking her outside... Her fears were ebbed away as a clean tear of skin and pale red bubbles caught her eye--a familiar sight, though where the weapon was or how it had created the wound, she hadn't seen. She was saying yes! This was even more wonderful! A new host held with them a whole new world of sensations, of new feelings, of new everything. Nobody looked at the same world in the same way, and to see through another's eyes was usually a figure of speech. Only Byeol-Su could truly see what it was like. What would it be like behind that mask? Her grin spread so wide it looked like her cheeks were hurting. "Really?? Thank you! It may feel weird. Not bad. Let--" A new voice suddenly spoke. Byeol-Su flinched, her hand already reached out to touch the injury, confused as to where it had come from. The cut? The cut was no longer a cut. Instead it was a mouth, a mouth with teeth and a voice that was not Bones' own. Byeol-Su gasped and withdrew her hand immediately. It was the same. The same as her. The same but not quite, somehow, it was different. When she manifested a mouth it simply grew there like it had been there all along. This one had come from her injury. Was...this her Quirk? No? No, it was a different voice. Only one. She wouldn't be the only one. Oh. Byeol-Su covered her mouth behind her hands, unsure what the expression on her face was. Rapture, delight, perhaps she was even teary-eyed. The feeling she suddenly experienced wasn't once she'd known before. There were a handful of those with "gifts" in the world, he said. To find another one inside of a person, another one just like her, must be so incredibly impossible. Yet here it was. She lowered her hands and looked between Bones' mask and the mouth on her hand, unable to pick which one she was speaking to--one, the other, or both. "Another? Another, there? Inside, like me? Bones is host already? Have...have never met another like me!" She let out a shrill girlish laugh, clapping her hands in a series of wet sounds. "I am so happy!! Thought was alone, was different, was un...une...unique, but is another! Another parasite, like me!! I wonder, can share thoughts? I can't. Wish I could! OH! Has been listening whole time to us?" With a fair bit more care than she had been ready to exercise earlier, Byeol-Su leaned over the mouth and placed her fingertip on the edge. She felt a pull. A pull, like her body could feel the current of Bones' blood through her wound, and wished to flow along through it like foam on water. Like it was part of her very nature. It was. But she didn't rush in right away--rather, she couldn't, she needed a moment longer. "Sorry to not introduce self before. Should have said something. Would not been so shy about hosting," she giggled, "Knowing you are already one!" | ✉ | So who is the pilot and who wears the butt controls? |

Leaders either ruled the land with fear, or respect. If you had enough of one of the traits, the other you gained just out of reason. You had so much power, people respected you just as much as they feared you. Or they respected you, realized everyone did, and feared if you did have a change of heart. You could not rule without the other, but you only needed a single trait. Kasey, was someone who led with respect, but it was the people, who feared Setsuna, and well, Sato. The pin was just a tool that showed someone was tied to that corrupt man. Even if Kasey was the nicest soul, the pin was the Ketsujo legacy. A legacy, now headed, and owned by a cannibal. The small girl seemed to be filled with emotion, either fear or joy at the sight of one of Setsuna's many forms. Both enities were puzzled on what to make of her, but would wait for her to speak, wondering where it would begin to go. Perhaps it was the sight of something so strange, so odd compared to other quirks. It wasn't often that a quirk offered a second being to the host user, but it wasn't often that someone could enter a bloodstream either. The question of how the girl discovered her power, was something to be asked, but Kasey did not wish to know such details. Not yet at least. It would only leave her to speak of the Ketsujo Thirteen, which was already a topic she was much not fond of speaking of. But then the girl spoke. "Hanawa gat-eun.*" the voice spoke to her, something they had learned to speak to each other when they were separated, along with their other forked tongues. A strange sound would be heard to the both of them as she clasped her hands. "I am not a parasite. Am same, but different." he would say, his Japanese growing as broken as Kasey's. "He has, after all, he is reason my name is Bones." she would tell the girl. As she reached out to touch Kasey's hand, the open wound that was becoming her quirk's own mouth, she could feel the strange entity fusing, entering her own stream. She had to allow it, even for just a moment. If it was harsh, she would bleed herself and force the girl out, like she did to- "I don't wanna do this anymore."
"Too late, you showed yourself."
"Why do I always let you drag me into things?"
"Because I can born you from my butt again."
"Fair."The pair would be rather lost on their next actions, only before Setsuna would speak to the girl. "It will only be for little. We talk more at table." he would say to her. ~ Word Count: 468 ~ |

you're in the city of light And so the walls where the colors once played Were replaced by the buff, now a sullen blunt grey arasite was not a word she used to be mean, or to imply that the being who shared Bones' body was similar to a disease or a leech. It was her name, too, after all. She had been the one who chose it and the one who wore it. Nevermind what the implications of such a name or word might be to someone else, she liked it just fine. It did sound a bit better in her native tongue, though, compared to Japanese. Then again, most things did. Now wasn't really the time to explain herself. She could wait until they were inside. A person with three minds and two feet. It sounded almost like a riddle. Byeol-Su giggled again. "Yes! Sorry. Will hurry up!" One moment Byeol-Su was still standing there in her complete, albeit unstable appearing form. The next her features and form and her very physicality began to shift. The lines of her eyes, mouth, and even the space between her fingers blurred into a solid color of gray. She became no more a human than a liquid in the span of mere seconds, and like she were being sucked through a straw at incredible speed, her whole mass was drawn straight into the cut on Kasey's palm. The feeling of cold something splashing against her new host's skin would last for only a short while before all of Byeol-Su, including the dress she'd been wearing, was completely, utterly vanished. It...wouldn't actually feel like anything. No pain of entry, not feeling of weight inside. It wasn't like a new limb had grown on her or like she had eaten something--or someone--quite large. There wasn't any feeling to it at all. But that was it. The lack of feeling. Suddenly the cut on her hand, had it had any pain remaining to it, felt like nothing was there. The cut was still visible. Still bleeding. But there was no pain from it. The cold didn't bite anywhere on Bones' skin no matter where it was exposed. The lack of feeling was the only clue that something had changed. There was no chill, no ache, no pain. None at all. Byeol-Su, meanwhile, was a new person. And she felt everything all at once. Bones was taller than her by a fair bit, so her perspective had changed. Her hair was up in a way that she felt it tug just a bit on her scalp. Her 'normal' skin felt the cold differently than Byeol-Su's own and it nipped her like little teeth. She could feel the faint remains of pain from the cut on her--Kasey's--hand. And the strange feeling of teeth created from bones in a place they should not be. The feelings, the differences, the new, wonderful experiences; from within Bones' skin, without a form of her own to express it, Byeol-Su was just...happy. So very, very happy. Her thoughts were all that was, at the moment, herself, for everything else was borrowed from Bones. It was a shame she could not share that joy. There was no way for her to share her feelings with her host, only for her to share theirs. It was the only truly selfish aspect of her gift. She could manifest a mouth of her own, small and hidden, somewhere that could speak into Bones' ear without being seen, but it would be quicker to stay quiet and allow her host to act on her own. Their own. The three of them; body, bones, and blood. She could grow to like that thought. But he would need to learn of this, now, too. She had made a new friend and met a new host and even a new parasite, like herself. He would be so happy, too. | ✉ | do you feel it? We're drift compatible. |
