It had all kicked off and then some, but Abaddon cared a lot less than he thought he would. On the contrary; he welcomed the chaos. He could only imagine what the reactions must have been like across the country, possibly even the world.
Are you proud of me, Mother? I did it. I made them pay, and now everyone knows of our cause!
Yet oddly even as he thought this he found himself more concerned with how people would see him now than his dear Mother. A force to be reckoned with? A great leader? A formidable new foe?
Regardless, they had to get the hell out of there and fast. The grin beneath his mask was wide, but it began to shrink the further through the building they got and Lady Lavande had still not reappeared.
“The fuck is taking Lavande so long?” he growled. “Did she go for a toilet break along the way or what?” If he had to leave her would, but he was aware doing so would not exactly look great for the image of united Quirkers working together that he had tried very much to present. Alas.
The fire escape exit loomed ahead at the end of the corridor. “Alright, Blackout, Serpentine, you go through first with your hostages. I’ll be right behind you.”

The fire escape was in sight, and Goro mentally sighed in relief. Honestly, his arm was getting a little strained holding the knife in place for so long, so it was a welcome sight. He was still irritated by Nick keeping him at the front, but he didn’t trust Serpentine enough to try and reorder them anyway. She seemed the type to make a mistake at a critical time like this out of a vain effort to creep out their opponents.
He still listened to her annoyingly playful warning and opened the fire escape door slowly with his free hand, only to freeze from a sound from above. His instincts said bee, but his intellect said otherwise. Far, far too big to be a bee, and far too humanoid as well. And with the way they were hovering, they certainly weren’t backup.
A Pro Hero, or maybe a vigilante. Goro didn’t know, and honestly he didn’t care. All he knew was that they were positioned to attack, presumably waiting to ambush whomever was foolish enough to use the exit first. Unfortunately for them that the one in front could hear them loud and clear. It wasn’t going to be that easy.
“Unfortunately, Serpentine, your warning couldn’t have come at a better time. One of those very Heroes appears to be awaiting us outside.” Careful to keep himself inside the building and out of the bee’s view, he pointed upwards, roughly in their direction. “I suggest an alteration to the plan. Abaddon, do you have a spare mask?”
Goro’s hostage was crying, now, something he hadn’t noticed until the tears started seeping through the fabric of his gloves. If and when Nick handed the mask over, Goro would pull it over the woman’s face as quickly as he could, before repositioning the knife behind her back.
Being rid of her would be risky right now, but it would also free up one of his arms, and would certainly be less of an annoyance. They’d also get a good idea of what their future assailant outside was capable of more safely than using one of their own as bait. If the bee were to see through the ploy and attempt to allow the hostage to leave, Goro would have enough time to reclaim her before being attacked. If they fall for it and attack her… well, she appeared to be quirkless, so Goro couldn’t care less about her fate. It certainly wouldn’t look good for them if they were a Pro Hero, though.
“Walk outside onto the fire escape.” He ordered, hissing through his helmet’s mic again, “Act naturally, do not try and call for help or this is going right into your back. Understand?” The hostage nodded, still crying under the mask, and stepped out surprisingly quickly onto the fire escape.
Goro turned again to Nick and Serpentine. “If the hero outside comes down, we can ambush them. If they don’t, we can take the hostage back. Oh, and I’m sure Lavende is coming back this way. I hope she hasn’t run into any trouble on the way, though.”

The sword of murder is not the balance of justice .
Hachi saw the door of the fire escape open, and her pose shifted. The first attack would dictate how the rest of the fight played out. If she was not fast enough at subduing the first out the door then whomever else was inside would have a clear shot at her while she was struggling. She was fast, and strong, but did not have many defenses. He priority was breaking one off from the rest and alerting Serperior with the radio so he could enter the fight from the rear. His Quirk was more apt than hers for fighting a group, and there were at least four hostiles--three, if she did this correctly.
A masked individual stepped out, their posture stiff, and their body still close enough to the door that she had to move quickly or they could retreat.
Hachi stopped her wings and dropped at a free-fall towards the fire escape, catching the railing of the level above her target and using it to propel herself to the wall behind them. With a push from her legs she had momentum enough to grab the masked individual by the shoulders and push them forward into the rail, the strike having enough power to knock the wind from their lungs and bruise their ribs on impact with the opposite railing. She placed her claws on their wrists and pulled them to their back.
They were...not responsive.
No, not the right phrasing. They were not unconscious but they had not put up any resistance to her attack. Instead their shoulders were shaking, their breathing labored and choking. Hachi released them.
Trap.
She turned sharply towards the door, and those inside of it. Another masked figure with a knife outstretched. No. No, it had been a hostage in one of their masks. Though her expression did not change she felt her chest clench, tight. Mistake. Trap. She had injured a hostage. Thank God she had not knocked them over the railing into the alley bellow--even at only a few stories high, the fall could have...at that angle...
She did not have time to dwell on her error. Hachi clicked the headpiece in her goggles and spoke quickly.
"Hostiles on fire-escape, second floor--" she counted the masks that she could see, quickly, scanning, determining hostage well-being on sight "--three hostiles visible, armed, one unaccounted fo--"
Hachi froze, her voice cutting off at once. Of the hostile forces in the room three were masked, but one...was not. One had removed their mask to place on the hostage, and was standing before her with their face visible. Plainly so. Perhaps another hero would have failed to determine which of the unmasked individuals in the room was the enemy. It would have been a deadly game, determining which was a threat while they dealt with the known villains.
But Hachi was not so unfortunate.
She recognized his face instantaneously. It was impossible not to. Weeks of searching, months of nothing but more injured students and promises broken. She'd finally made her own. Not relying on the other heroes, or demanding Kurama Rin do the same. She swore she would find the man herself and stop him.
"--Nick Cross."
It seemed she was unfortunate in a different way.
At once the plan changed.
Without so much as another word into her radio, or even a rational thought thought in her mind, Hachi moved. With speed unrivaled she flew directly for the all too familiar face of Nicholas Cross, ex-UA student, criminal, villain, monster. Of course she did not merely fly at him. Instead she twisted herself to strike him directly in the torso with her heel and continue back through the room, separating him from the others at the door--and herself from the hostages, a mistake, a failure, but she couldn't stop herself. Not this time.
This time he would not get away.

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star
Yuri knew how to work a camera, and she definitely knew how to get the broadcast up and running again should it not have been left live on this camera. She had been quick to get her message across, oblivious to the fact that just outside, the villains were escaping through the fire escape. Oblivious of course until she made out the sobs of the hostage that had been sent out ahead of the villains.
She cut off the remaining camera before dashing out towards the none too silent voices. As she arrived on the scene the villains had already sent the hostage out onto the fire escape, some kind of strange, massive Bee lady having already taken down said hostage, and if that wasn't bad enough.
"Nick fucking Cross" Yuri hissed to herself, though didn't alter her course. She could have gone for Nick, finished what they started when G and her caught him back then... but no, she had been B lining it for the female of their group, Serpentine (though she didn't know her name). Nick was resourceful anyways, she'd figured that much out back then. Maybe if she could take out this girl quickly, then that at least would thin out their numbers.
As Yuri approached Serpentine, the girls body would coat itself in a thick barrier of lightning. She used it as a sort of second skin as she would try to ram right into the girl to not only throw her off her feet, but simultaneously electrocute her as she did so.

"DAMN IT BOSS, THE VAN WON'T WORK"
"No shit you damn moron, I drove it literally, INTO the building, you think it would work now? Get the hell out of that thing" Fuzebox would roll his eyes in annoyance, white electricity dancing around his frame as the masked man was seen walking away from the van with two of his goons trying to get it running. There was no way the thing would move, and at this point it was just a waste of space... although a perfect target for a big boom.
Fuzebox got ready to fire an arc of lightning towards the van as his two goons left, waiting for them to get far enough but stopping himself when he spotted Lady Lavande and her 'hostage' backing towards it, and the exit.
"You two, help the lady would ya." He made a motion with his head, indicating that the two should move towards Meiko instead of towards himself.
They would do just that, the male and female would instead fly towards Meiko, landing on either side of her like a guard. Once of them materialized a sword out of their skin, while the man would erupt into flames, contained only by his clothes.
"Ya heard the boss, back off the lady!" The man threatened, firing a jet stream of fire towards a retreating group of civilians. He missed them, but he promptly caught the reception desk on fire.
Meanwhile, instead of setting the van ablaze, Fuzebox was slowly creeping away from the group, using the van between them to keep himself out of sight until he could find a place to change into his civilian clothing, and blend in with the crowd. He was a well known businessman when not in this attire, so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for him to be here.

Brandon looked around for a fire escape on the first floor. His reasoning is that the quicker way to get out of the building is from the ground floor, right? After checking the directory, he heads towards the location. He stands in front of a door, with a sign that reads “EXIT.” A note was taped to the side of it, warning those who opened it that this is for emergency usage only.
“Alright, here it is! Kent, I’m at the fire escape, so make sure to listen very closely. I remember that these doors make a loud sound when opened....Ya know, is it me or is it weird that it’s not blaring right now? Maybe we got here first?" "..." "Oh well, here we go!”
”Alarm? Wait, Brandon hold on, that’s-“
”BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIII”
"Gah, that’s loud. Alright guys you ready for-“
Brandon steps out of the building into a empty street.
”Hey you idiot. Did you actually think the emergency exit’s the same as the fire escape?”
“Sh-shut up! I knew what I was doing! I wa-was warning the people in here to, um, run away or something...shut up!”
“Try the second floor, dumbass. If there’s anyone left that hasn’t run off yet due to the alarm, you should be able to find them.”
”Gaaaah.” Groaning, Brandon slaps his helmet and heads to the stairs, mumbling at his phone while the alarm kept blaring in the background.
Looking around, Brandon glances towards the direction of the fire escape when he notices something. Well, it was more like someone. He was dressed in armor with his wings hanging out with what appears to be metal plating or something. He seems to be standing still, like he just saw something weird. His purple visor is the most noticeable thing in the hall.
Wait a minute. He’s seen that armor before. Brandon recalls the tv broadcast. This was the same guy who he let go in that alleyway that one night ...
“Brandon? What’s wrong?” Kents words fell on deaf ears as Drag-On rushes towards the man, preparing to tackle him and punch him until his fists don’t hurt no more.
The alarm kept blaring in the background.

Post by Nakamura Kou on Jan 17, 2019 16:49:03 GMT -4
Kou heard someone- Or something, moving behind him. It wasn't footsteps, of course- The sound of scales slithering over tile was too distinctive. It was a sound that he hadn't heard in quite some time, but- Given the context, he wasn't altogether surprised when a voice behind him identified itself as the half-snake Hero, Serperior. A wry grin rose beneath the Asura mask- What irony was it, to meet again like this. Hero and Anti-Hero, just like old times. Of course, this time, the roles were swapped. He had to wonder, if he took this mask off, would Mikhail still recognize him? After all, the last time they'd met, neither had even gone through puberty. And while Serperior had remained somewhat public throughout his life- After developing his quirk, Kou had dropped off the face of the earth.
Of course, he couldn't do test it out.. As long as the mask stayed on, he had that invincible armor known as plausible deniability. He would slowly turn around, hands and lances skyward. "Would you believe me if I said I'm just an actor in costume? Didn't think so. But hey, we're on the same side here. Asura Piercer, vigilante- I'm quite sure you've never heard of me. I happened to be in the area when things broke out here, so, I thought I'd step in and lend a-" The actor paused and wiggled one of the appendages growing from his back. "Man, what would you even call these things? Legs? Arms? Claws? Lances? Whatever. Anyways, my point is- If you want to waste time here with me, I'll be happy to oblige, but of course, while we duke it out, those scumbags would be getting away." He shrugged. "Your call."
It was a bit of a gamble, but Kou felt safe making it. Heroes, vigilantes- They both wanted to protect the civilians. When it came down to it, the two didn't usually clash when there was a villain in play. "Now then- You're the pro here. Any of your fancy government intel tell you which room it was those creeps hijacked?" If anything, Kou was quite happy to see a proper hero show up at this timing. Someone with a proper backing. Just blindly running around, Kou would never find the villains who had hijacked the station.
An alarm went off in the distance. Kou raised an eyebrow in surprise- The station gets hijacked without a noise, Kou breaks in through a window- Only now does an alarm go off? Something was off, but now wasn't the time to worry about it. Rather than an alarm that may or may not be false, Kou would rather follow the pro Mikhail.

Serperior stopped two meters away from the masked man-spider, bo-staff held up defensively, a cocky grin painted across his face. Huh. He’d expected resistance. The man was either a vigilante or one of the hostage-takers, neither of which Serperior expected to act reasonably around a Pro-Hero.
“...Well, that’s a start, but I think we’re at an impasse.”
After all, it wasn’t like the mask was offering to come quietly.
Serperior dropped a hand off his staff, conflicted. Vigilantism was illegal. More to the point, those back-blades looked lethal. If there was any hostages alive, he did not want this man involved.
And what if he was a villain, trying to bluff his way out?
Something about the voice was very familiar though. He couldn’t place it--
"Hostiles on fire-escape, second floor--" Hachi’s voice crackled over his headset, interrupting his thoughts. His eyes narrowed, grin slipping into a grimace.
"--three hostiles visible, armed, one unaccounted fo--"
--The decision had been taken from him. He felt a flood of relief.
“I cede your point. For the moment." Serperior replied, voice extremely snippy. Then he dropped his guard, and looked around until he spotted the nearest sign to an emergency exit. There. He darted down a short corridor until he hit the door to the fire escape. Along the way, the alarms started to blare. He slammed the door open, and saw…
A single masked figure, lying prone on the landing a story below.
He didn’t have time to figure out the details. Serperior dropped, landing next to the hostage. Inside, the room was a melee of bodies--others had arrived. Not heroes. Vigilantes.
For fucks sake.
He couldn’t tell who was on who’s side anymore. He started to push inside the room, flipping out his quarterstaff at the two closest combatants in a pair of quick jabs, not intending to do anything more than bruise until he figured out the villains.
TL:DR Serpy makes his way back outside, and drop from third-floor fire escape landing to second-floor landing, then jabs his quarterstaff at Yuri and Nari, trying to clear room to get inside/disable them.

Post by Meiko Hagane on Jan 19, 2019 12:08:40 GMT -4
As Meiko was retreating with her so called 'hostage', someone came to her. Someone unexpected. Allies? Some new faces she didnt see. One pulled a sword out of their skin, a similar quirk, eh? And the other produced fire.
The fire person assisted her and shot fire at the civillians, making them back off. Meiko nodded in approval "I appreciate your help" she said, giving them a kind word, as she now continued to retreat toward the exit. She was happy she got backup. And even Alaster was her protection, just by being there.
She decided that taking Nicks escape route was too dangerous, having too many villains cluttered in one place. They were bound to be ambushed. Besides, she cared about Alaster more and couldnt imagine leaving him here alone, even if he was safe under the cover of being a 'civillian'. Meiko always trusted Alaster more then anyone, and of course would take his exit route over Nick or anyone elses. "I can leave the bulding sure, but how do I lose the attention off of me now. We need to disappear too" Meiko thought to herself as she held her 'hostage' and her blade
Her original plan was to fetch Alaster and regroup with Nicks gang, but that clearly fell in the water. She had to wing it. Luckily she had help

As the villainous couple kept moving, Alaster heard the sound of an alarm going off somewhere. What the bloody hell is that noise for? After pondering it for a bit, Alaster decided to simply ignore it. Unless it involved Meiko, Nick, or the other villains, nothing was more important at the moment than leaving this place as quickly as possible. Alaster just hoped that Wheels was going to already be there waiting by the time he and Meiko arrived to the exit..
Suddenly, there were two people approaching Meiko. Who the hell were they? But it quickly became apparent that they were here to assist. Allies of Nick, perhaps? Alaster decided not to question it, as he was not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. For now, he would remain silent, continuing his role as the 'scared hostage' that was being 'kidnapped'.
That was not the only thing Alaster noticed, however. This exit was a different one from where they were originally going to meet up with Nick. He supposed that they could not help it. As much as Alaster did not want to just abandon Nick and co, he and Meiko needed to get away.
Sorry Nick, Alaster thought. We'll have to go on ahead without you. I'm not leaving you behind, though. After we're dropped off, I'll send Wheels to pick you and your allies up as well. I'm not one to leave my allies behind, after all.
---
As Wheels was approaching the building, he decided to park the red van from a distance. Taking out his binoculars, he looked towards the fire escape. The first thing he noticed was that Crowley was not there. Where was he? Did he have to take a different exit? Did the pro heroes find him? The man decided to drive around the building to check for the white-haired man. Of course, he kept the van invisible with his quirk to avoid attention from any nearby cop car or potential witnesses.
Wheels then noticed Alaster and Meiko in a different side of the building. Flashing the van's headlights at them to get their attention, Wheels carefully drove towards the couple. Seeing the sudden flash of light come in from nowhere only to not see any approaching vehicle, Alaster quickly put two and two together and realized that Wheels was finally here. About time!
Wheels quickly looked around from inside the van to make sure that no one was looking in his general direction before opening the van door. If anyone was there and looking in the invisible van's direction, they would notice the interior of the van seemingly appearing from out of nowhere. Fortunately, the only people who noticed were Alaster, Meiko, and possibly Fuzebox and his goons. Everyone else was too preoccupied with trying to run for their lives to notice the invisible van. Wheels quietly called out to Meiko. "Quick, get inside!"
As Meiko and Alaster got in, Wheels stared at the two with a confused look. "I thought you had more allies with you. Where are they? And why did you have to exit from here rather than the fire escape?"
After closing the van door (which to anyone watching, would have looked like Meiko had seemingly vanished with her 'hostage'), Alaster paid Wheels like he promised he would. "No time to explain, Wheels. First, get us both out of here. Then go back for the others. It's too risky to try to go get them now, but I refuse to leave them behind!"
Wheels nodded as he began to drive off. "Fine. But just know that I won't be able to keep my quirk running for much longer. If I go back to get your friends, there's a chance that the police and pros will see me coming. And I don't really like my chances going up against them." A long pause later, and Wheels sighed. "Just be sure to pay me double for this. I am sticking my own neck out for you, after all. You owe me."
Alaster nodded. "Of course I shall. I don't ever expect people to do anything for me for nothing. You have my gratitude, Wheels." He then sighed and leaned on Meiko's shoulder. Hopefully, their escape would go smoothly so that he and Meiko can then relax back home. And of course, Alaster hoped that Wheels would not encounter any problems picking up Nick and co, so that everyone can get to escape without issue.
/attempted exit
Alaster and Meiko are escaping on a red van being made invisible by Wheels's quirk. Once Wheels drops off Alaster and Meiko to safety, he will then drive towards the fire escape side of the building to try to rescue any villains that are still there. However, his quirk will have run out before getting there, making his approach very much visible to anyone there. He's not much of a fighter, so if someone does try to stop him, he won't be able to put up much of a fight.

Classic Nick, making people go first rather than himself. Nari mentally rolled her eyes as she held her hostage close, following behind Blackout as he stared at the open fire escape. Nari looked up, hearing something from above them outside. Looks like the heroes came out to play after all. Seemed this late arrival threw a wrench in their easy escape, so much for a quick getaway. Blackout took the extra mask from Abandon that he had for Lavande and placed it on his hostage. Interesting plan, a good way to fake out the simple-minded heroes outside. Blackout mentioned something about Lavande being here shortly, causing the green eyed girl to stare down at the ground, "Tch. Let's hope she gets here and doesn't decide to chicken out," she muttered under her breath.
Blackout sent his hostage out and onto the fire escape and like a moth to a flame, an over sized humanoid insect swooped down to attack, mistaking her as a villain instead of a hostage. How dumb could you be really? As if on command, the humanoid hero launched herself into the room, kicking Nick in the chest and sending him and her flying back away from Goro and Nari. Shit! Stupid bug! Nari glared daggers back at the so called hero trying to disarm Nick. She ought to slit her throat and watch her bleed out! Nari pressed the knife ever so much closer to her hostage, digging into her neck and causing her to bleed slightly. Looks like they'll have to separate and find another way out, hopefully their getaway car was close. Nari looked at Blackout, wondering what his thoughts were in these fleeting few moments.
Not even a minute later, a blonde had made her way up the fire escape and made her way towards Nari. Oh, was she being singled out? How cute~ Her speed increased as she came charging at the green eyed girl, but Nari was quick too. She pulled the redhead girl she held close and kissed her before slitting her throat, turning her and pushing her in the direction the blonde was coming from, watching as the two collided in the doorway of the fire escape. Smart move it seemed, a crackle of electricity of some sort could be heard once the two girls collided. An electric type quirk hmm? Interesting. "Sorry love, it just wasn't meant to be~" The brunette said with a chuckle, her eyes slitting as she stared at the tumbled pile of the lifeless bleeding redhead and the blonde who was charging for her.
Just before she would hightail it out, it seemed yet a third hero wanted in on some fun, this one a bit more reptilian in nature. The large mass of snake tried pushing his way in through the fire escape, trying to get past Blackout and the tumble of girls not too far from the doorway. It seemed they might have to split up, given there were three heroes there with more probably on the way, or would they fight together, safety in numbers and all? The fire escape was too crowded, could she escape down on one of the lower floors? Just how many more heroes were on their way? It seemed the half snake man would have trouble catching up if it involved stairs, but what about the blonde? She wasn't sure how much power each had, but was she really willing to take a chance on that? It seemed going solo would be the only way to go. Nari hightailed it out of sight, searching and thinking what the best way out of this was. "...Be safe Nick," she thought to herself as she ran away.

At Blackout’s suggestion, Abaddon only wished he could see the look he gave him beneath his mask.
“I only have this one mask, you idiot!” Alas, his treacherous mind did not offer any alternatives. Feeling the pressure of time weigh upon him heavier than a mountain, he let out a snarl and with great reluctance slowly removed the mask and thrust it in his idiot brother’s direction. “God, fine! Just take the damn thing!” Already he felt vulnerable without it. He resented the sound of his un-processed voice, so pathetically ordinary and nonthreatening. That was not how Abaddon was supposed to sound. He was back to being weak, worthless little Nick and he abhorred every second of it.
Growling in bitter frustration, Nick tried to crouch low behind his allies. “Hurry up. The sooner we’re out of here the –”
Wham. Something hit him with force only slightly below that of a car and he was sailing back through the air before he knew which way was up. He crash-landed in a sorry pile back inside the Tokyo 5 building. For a moment, he lay there, too dazed to move and aching all over.
“What the hell was that?” he exclaimed. All he had seen had been a flash of yellow and black, and then...
“Just get out of here!” he yelled back to the others as he scrambled onto his feet and surged off into the building.
The roof was his goal. He could escape by jumping from roof to roof, surely. As he reached the roof he made a mental note to slap the shit out of Goro for his moronic ideas later – provided they both made it out of this.

“I didn’t mean that mask, imbecile!” Goro bit back as Nick shoved his mask into Goro’s hand. “I meant the- Forget it!” He yelled as he pulled it over the hostage’s face. Nick’s obvious discomfort with being unmasked just served to annoy Goro further; he’d clearly meant the spare ski mask that Lavende had declined to wear earlier, but they had no time to bicker with each other at the moment.
A wide smirk spread over his face as the bee took the bait, slamming the hostage into the side of the stairwell. She didn’t even knock her off the fire escape! Everything was going according to plan, aside from Nick’s mask blunder. This bee woman would certainly be discouraged by accidentally injuring one of the very people she was here to help. Or, she’d be angered, and she’d be unable to properly focus on the fight.
He took a step forward, intending to rush forth and reclaim his hostage, only to be stopped dead in his tracks by the bee woman’s charge toward them. He ducked to the side, only for her to completely ignore him and strike Nick square in the chest, screaming his name all the while. For a brief second, a wave of relief flowed through Goro’s body, before the holes in his wings started burning beneath their armour. Mother wouldn’t be happy if he left Nick behind.
He turned to respond to Nick’s yelling, but the alarm blaring cut him off. God fucking damn it, why now? Futilely clutching where his ears would be under the helmet, he could only just hear someone approaching under that blasted alarm. A very familiar someone. As if the day wasn’t bad enough already, the meathead who’d called himself Drag-On was booking it down the hallway right for him, and unlike the bee-like hero from earlier Goro highly doubted Drag-On was aiming for someone else.
Thanks to the horrible ringing in Goro’s ears, and the sudden burning in his wings, he found himself unable to lift a finger to stop Drag-On’s fist. The first punch landed square in the middle of his helmet, making Goro stagger back, then Drag-On followed up with a fist to the stomach. Goro doubled over for a moment, looking over to Serpentine hoping for help, only to see another woman shooting for her. It appeared he was on his own here.
That was fine by him.
A third punch was aimed for Goro’s visor, but he flicked his right wing forward and caught it with ease. It still hurt, but the impact wasn’t nearly as bad. He could deal with it. If these wings could work as a shield, they could certainly also work as weapons. He flapped the wing forward, intending to knock Drag-On back, and followed up with a swing of his leg at Drag-On’s knees. If he could knock him over, it would be over as quickly as it begun.

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star
As Yuri bull rushed Nari, the villain took the opportunity to slit her hostages throat... honestly no skin off of her back. What was the life of one, whenever the lives of many could be affected? It didn't stop Lightning Strike from advancing, instead only pushed her forward faster. Whenever Nari would then push the dead woman towards her however, the girl would scrunch up her nose and leap up into the air.
'Ew no, I can't get blood on this!' She thought to herself in irritation, landing on the dead woman's back with a loud THUD. She winced, not having meant to exactly do that, but nothing to be done now. Pushing herself forward again towards Nari, she would launch a Thunderbolt towards her in one swift movement, however...
*SMACK*
Having landed on the dead woman had thrown her off her initial path, and so when she landed and launched the lightning she was promptly met with a whack to the face by a god damned stick. Her lightning bolt flew astray, sailing harmlessly into the sky as Lighning Strike brought her hands over her face where she was hit, glaring daggers at...
'Mikhail..?'
"DAMN IT SERPERIOR" She cursed the snake man loudly, knowing exactly who this Hero was... it was a little difficult to mis identify someone with the body of a snake.
"I'M ON YOUR SIDE" She yelled at him once more, one hand remaining on the spot of her face that was struck and turning back to face Nari and firing off another couple blasts of lightning towards the retreating girl. This fire escape was quickly getting way over crowded....

Brandon loses his balance as the masked bat basterd ruined his concentration and delivered a kick. He falls on his back, now having obtained the full attention of the rogue quirk user. While it’s hard to tell behind that mask, Brandon could feel the man deliver a hateful glare, as if he is fed up with Brandon the moment they laid eyes on him. Brandon gets up and steps back a bit, already in his familiar boxing stance. Judging on the new additions on his suit, it appears he learned from his mistake. He now has light armor on his wings, and they appear to be at least resistant enough to survive a direct blow.
Brandon sweats underneath his helmet. Last time, he pulled out his knife and slashed his body. If he didn’t activate his quirk, he would have died there and then. Since he’s already seen him torture that woman, there’s no telling what he’ll do to him if he had the chance. Brandon smacks his fist and gets ready.
His vent scales tear through the security guard uniform, and his voice becomes gravely and lower in pitch and tone. Steam pours out of the vents as Brandon readies himself. “Alright, you asshole...time for payback for that woman you tortured!” He growls at the masked figure, yells, and runs up to him and tackle him into a door he was standing in front of. His plan was to isolate the bat in a small room so he wouldn’t escape easily.
