Hey guys! Did you know that the principal was also the P.E. teacher? No? That's because I haven't been making P.E. threads for yall to participate in. Let me correct that, and add that I am also planning for the principal to give more military-oriented training as well, with pole toppling, knife-fighting, shooting and the likes.
This here is a signup for a simple P.E. thread that will be a game of a game I invented on the spot last game and worked pretty well for character interactions. What it will be is essentially a bastard mix of volleyball, tennis and dodgeball. You are playing on a rectangle field divided in two equal squares, 20m in diameter, delimited by simple markings, with a reinforced volleyball in teams of 2v2. You score when the ball touches the ground in your opponent's field or when your opponent hits it out of bounds. The last person to touch the ball determines who hits it last, and therefore it is a viable strategy to bounce a ball from your opponent. Players are not allowed to cross into the enemy's side, but they can go out of bounds as long as they stay in their half. Quirks are allowed, but attacking people with your quirk or any kind of direct attack is not and will result in penalties or disciplinary actions depending on gravity. The game will last for 5 rounds of posting barring interruptions.
As you can see, as long as you don't throw the ball out of bounds, anything goes. Passing plays with your teammate and feints, or just shooting the ball at the other players are both viable strategies, and it tends to make for fun character interactions while changing a bit from combat threads.
Sign up under here and I will assign (hopefully) balanced groups and try to take affinities into account as well. I'll post a short starter and you can roleplay the thread from there on out, though feel free to call me to post if needed. For example, you could want to run a plot where someone cheats or commits a foul and there is a dispute, and that is perfectly valid, and i will be happy to help you with that.
As I said in the beginning, other more serious threads are being planned. Darren's martial arts club threads also exist, but these will be for those looking for a more "professional" of stealthy approach to fighting. If enough people are interested, I could even run shooting or pure athleticism competitions. This thread also serves me to gauge interest in that. So without further ado, I'll take your signups! Hope you will enjoy it!
