 at most I'm sleeping all these demons away The sky was quite blue for the autumn day, it had been a couple of weeks that she had seen Gil at first instance, until that one call yesterday. Which made it a bit more awkward and how she had looked and sounded, it was a bit disastrous. Everything about yesterday was disastrous and yet she had left her building. Hanako took her trolly with her towards her taxi and while she was walking toward that taxi, she looked up at that sky. It was quite cold though already, it probably had to do with this hard breeze that ruined her hair and yet she had not taken care of the issue beforehand. She would not be surprised if it would rain eventually. She waved at the cabbie and he took her trolley and put it in the trunk. She climbed into the back of the cab and wrapped her scarf around her shoulders and looked out of the window. She felt childish nervous. She told the driver where she would pick up Gil and then they would get to the resort, she did look forward towards the moment to see him. She leaned forward to look up through the window, to the skyscrapers and she winced because of her ribs. Nothing was badly hurt or broken but the bruises did make it a bit sore. That's when she shortly closed her eyes and thought about yesterday. ------ Her day had started pretty normally, she had done her normal jobs, talked about the designer for the new layout that would happen this issue of the magazine and a few more talks with colleagues, no one that knew who she was particularly apart from the girl from the normal column. She was working on the last bits of her column, her Lady Scandal column she never wrote here, that would be potentially too dangerous. So when she was done, she walked towards the toilets and started to powder her nose again, she checks every little strange thing on her face as she wanted to make sure that the interview which she would have in half an hour would look good. Hanako thought at some point that it was awfully quiet out there, she had zoned out on the noise that was outside and had missed the complete problem at the point that there was a problem. Until she heard someone loudly yell for blondie. She opened the door slightly and looked around, desolated, papers on the ground and she even noticed a high heel on the steps of the stairs and she turned to look at the door of the floor where she belonged. That's when she noticed the breeze, there were no windows on this floor that could be opened and they were on the sixth floor anyway, so no doors. She saw it, and quickly shut the door behind her as soft as she could, she had a few seconds. She ran towards her huge back and went to look and find it, the black phone and pushed the little number one. It immediately redirected to Gil's phone number and she crossed her fingers that he would pick up. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

Today was finally the day they could go to the resort. G was ready and waiting for Hana so they could go together. He couldnt stop thinking about the time when they talked abut going to the resort, at that cafe. When they said goodbye... and kissed. That just simply made him blush. To avoid glowing red like a cute tomato, he shook his head and tried to think of something else. While waiting for his best buddy, G remembered what happened yesterday ~Flashback~ G was patrolling the town at day time for once. He wanted to get a feel of the town during the day a bit, and not just over night. He wanted to see the town and the crowd hustle and bustle. While patrolling he saw a purse snatcher. Glad that he was in the area, he grinned and started the chase. He chased the petty snatcher in to dark allies and eventually cornered him when the petty thief found a dead end. G just cracked his knuckles as he approached the purse snatcher, he decided to not bother using his Quirk at all, instead a good old fashioned beat up. Not to mention he wanted to give the guy a chance to fight. "Fine! You wanna fight?! Bring it on- Oh! Ah! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ahh!!" the man got cut off by G who just started punching him and beating him up with his bare hands. He stopped punching him for a moment to see if he had enough "I like candy corns please put them in my donuts Ugh!" The guy was dizzy, but still wanted to go, evident by him trying to form a fist. G just continued a bit more to make sure he doesnt try to move or attack "I have my-" PUNCH "- Ugh! Agh! Ough!" and then another punch "My favorite colour is seven" and another punch "Awgh! No more peanuts for me, stewardess" G punched him again "Godzilla is my dad" and for the finale, a knock out. When the snatcher landed on the ground KO'd. G finally started blowing on his hand, it felt hot because it hurt pretty bad, the guy he beat up clearly had an extra thick skull and pretty good endurance, luckily no fighting experience. He got the purse back to the woman that also tried to chase the petty thug. And then he just left. While walking away, his phone started ringingParty queens:

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away Even if it wasn't cold in the lady's room, she felt a shiver going down her spine. There was a problem, a problem too big to face. What had the guy previously said, that this gorilla was a tough one and her kickboxing classes had not told her yet how to knock out king kong with just one kick, more of a chance she did not have. She had been stupid, Hanako had figured that one out as well but time-wise, could she had been more stupid if she had not run to her phone. She felt the word as if the thing breathed it in her neck, "Kinpatsu.." She should not focus, though she believed that the floor was soon collapsing with the pressure of the big ape on the floor. She pushed in the number 1 button and it redirected her to the one person that she could depend on and the one person she needed. She heard a door slam loudly and she believed the thing was close by. She heard a casual sup and stared forward again, as if that changed anything, "Gil, I need you." She said in a state of hurry and panic, she was on the brink of tears, not because she was that scared but because of the fact that she could not do shit against such a thing. Why was she a reporter of quirks and people out in town that were dangerous like this? Why had her boss send her back up and why! Was this guy not still arrested?! She wasn't paying much attention and heard the door open from the room that she was in, "There you are." She swallowed albeit with difficulty, great that no one thought about getting her out of this building as well and this guy didn't even know she was Lady Scandal! She had made very much use of that in her article. "Tattletale." Yeah no, he really did not know it was her, "I am on the sixth floor of the metropolitan office." She said quickly in her phone and the gorilla man who did not fit into this room, simply tried to get her with his huge monster like hand, so she managed to get more to the back of the room, how long would it last until he would break the doorpost. She had not clicked away the conversation yet, she did not know what to say or do, if Gil asked her something, she would try to answer. But finally, the thing caught her legs and tried to drag her out, she hit it with her free hand, "Let go of me!" As he yanked her out of the room, she couldn't help but drop her phone. Shit! now what? "You should not have called the police." Ha if only she did! Suddenly she realized how big of a mistake she had made, no, he couldn't come here, what if her boss called the police, which would have been a reasonable thing to do. Shit! Shit! Shit! As soon as he heard his friend, his close friend saying that she needs him while being on the verge of tears, G was on high alert. Already runing even though he doesnt know where. So he quickly asked "Where are you!??!" after she told him, he exited the alley and saw the building was actually around the corner.
"Huh... I was actually really close" he commented to himself, mildly surprised. Realizing he was still on the line and that trouble was afoot, he quickly ran to the building, still keeping the phone on line, he needed to hear Hana and know her status.
Getting to the building was a breeze as G got there in no time, no cops on the scene and no one daring to stop him, everyone was scared. But getting to the 6th floor, that was going to be a pain. Elevator is too slow and the stairs.. oh god the stairs. G heard a crash
"Hana? Hana! HANA!!" he called out to her, but he didnt hear anything. The phone was likely dropped. G took a deep breath and started running up the stairs to the 6th floor. Cursing mentally as to why did she have to work on such a high floor!
"This is why I prefer working and living on the ground floor" G angrily mumbled to himself

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She tried to wiggle her way out of the problem, the thing was that it seemed to be almost impossible to do so. No, better yet, it was impossible to do so. Hana had made a mistake, a very bad one and she had to correct it but her phone was on the bathroom floor and she could not get it or yell at it as she for a second had no idea where she was. They seemed to have left the hallway, but they were not near the offices, that's when she noticed he was making his way to the balcony. Oh no, not really throwing her down would he? She still had not watched King Kong! But apparently that did not matter, the real deal was here. "Can't we just talk about it?" She thought out loud to stall time, did she hear her name? The monkey simply yelled at her very loudly, if you could say it was yelling, in her now popping ears it was more like a roar and did she say he was drooling because he definitely was and he squeezed her even more. Now she was thin, worked very hard on her wasp like look but man this hurt. She tried to push herself upwards to get out of the issue but that didn't entirely work. He climbed up to the seventh floor, he must have heard her saying something about the sixth floor and he went to the eight, where he went inside through the balcony door again, not even trying to open it and she felt the rain of glass fall upon her and struck her or stay in her hair. She didn't want to yell about it but it felt painful, including the squeeze and he seemed to break wherever he went, just walking through too small doorpost without much care and she bumped into pieces regularly. Now that the gorilla seemed to have decided what to do, he walked to the staircase and looked down, if you looked perfectly in the middle you could see the difference in level to the other floors and he roared again. "You know, talking works a lot better!" She hit him again but tried to simply distract him, if she had really heard something, it might be police (for some reason she certainly hoped not) but it might also be G and well, this guy was a tough one. He held her dangling over the safety prevention, the little fence. "Hey are you an idiot?" You shouldn't say that if that's what had hurt this sensitive gorilla in the first place and he gave her this hideous smile before he simply let go and all she could do was scream, hold her hands up, as if she hoped to grasp something of the stairs to not fall on the ground, what would happen if you fell from the eight floor? Wouldn't she have a magical quirk that would save her damn life! No! She had a pen! MADE BY VEL OF GS |

He was running up the stairs and heard trashing and bashing and noise. Actually, while on the first floor, he saw the gorilla going to the 8th floor
"Oh my fucking God" he said to himself annoyed that he had to go up even MORE stairs, but even so he ran and ran and ran. By the time he arrived on the 4th floor, he heard the gorilla man at the staircase again. He didnt wanna peak out and look at the scene, not yet. He didnt want to lose the element of surprise, but when he heard that Hana was dropped. He immediatelly reacted. Went to the edge of the stairs and extended his hands and caught Hana. He pulled her back to safety, but did fall down really hard on the stairs
"Oof. This hurts" he muttered to himself as he rubbed the back of her head. Setting Hana aside, he got up and wiped his clothes. With the main urgency gone, G was ready to proceed at a slower pace.
"You go out of the building to safety. Im gonna deal with Harambe II" he whispered to Hanako and then proceeded to go up the stairs carefuly and catiously

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away Would she be at least pretty if she fell to the ground and died, probably not, everything would be broken, spatters of blood and ugh she hated the idea, she did not dare to look down, all she could do was look up, hoping to catch something, which is basically impossible like this and she had no idea how what or where she would end up to be, it was not as if they would miraculously be caught her at this point and thus she closed her eyes for but a tiny second and she felt someone or well she guessed someone, hold on to her hand. She flung her eyes open and stared at the man that saved her and she felt finally the real tears coming up in the corner of her eyes, as she was finally sitting back on the stairs, it took what seemed like forever for Hanako to let go of Gil, in reality it wasn't that bad. She felt shaken and afraid of what could have happened and considering King Kong was still up there. "But what if the police come?" She whispered to him as she finally let go and still would not stop him from going upstairs, "I have seen someone deal with him before, not saying you can't do it but his endurance is magnificent." She couldn't help but say but give a heads up. She did give a nod when he said she should go out of the building, she said so, but she wasn't entirely sure when she would be able to. She might be clumsy but she knew her heels would not even be able to carry her and it was not because of the height of the shoes but her unstable legs in general. She tried, mostly lowering herself on the next step of the stairs before she would reach the part in between, she would have to walk around to get to the next part, but she was too iffy to try it, she would, in given time. Hana seemed so shook, she did not want to let go. He couldnt imagine what she went through. He gave her a small kiss on the forehead and a pat on the head to try and calm her.
"Fuck the police" he whispered
When Hana let him go, he heard how she said that she saw someone deal with Harambe, but who? Someone with good endurance. G really didnt care about others, whoever the Pro was, G could care less about them. He went to deal with ape man, but turned to check on Hana, she looked like she barely was able to stand up
"Take off your high heels, silly!" he said mildly annoyed. If he had his way, he'd take off her high heels and throw them away to distact the ape man.
She shook his head and proceeded to go up the stairs. He was a Vigilante, not a Hero. He couldnt follow Hana down the stairs, who knows what Harambe would do if he was left unchecked.
"I have to go" he told Hana and finally started moving up the stairs. G had to face this ape foe, whether it was a stealth approach or a head on approach, it didnt matter. G was ready for a fight

"I-" She looked over her shoulder to say something because she was really worried, he shouldn't get arrested or anything for her sake and even if he had said fuck the police, they would certainly not let it slide if they knew what happened. "I will be waiting, downstairs." She said with a smile that she tried to muster as best as she could, pushing her glasses back on her nose. "I will be fine compared to before, thank you." She said as she just watched him go upstairs. She was actually rather curious and yet, it was not like she would write a Lady Scandal topic about it. She more or less chuckled at herself and wanted to take her bag when she realized in the shock that she did not have it. Of course not! That thing was upstairs when the ape had taken her out of the bathroom. She felt that she got even more stiff about the idea, what if someone found her bag and the white phone? She looked where Gil was in running up the stairs, she did not hear him but she also did not see him and she doubted he would be focussing on her. She looked at the floor before her, but standing up made her so wobbly that she fell back on her bum immediately, which gave her a strange sensation that went as a shiver through her whole body. It hurt a lot. Her legs were mildly bruised, mostly around her hips from the squeezing that King Kong had done, she lifted up her shirt now that she was sure no one would see, so she pulled the blouse out of her skirt hem and looked at her ribs, a gaze was clearly seen, red and with splots of blood. You would expect that a body would get used from falling and get tougher, well not Hana's. That was for sure. Finally, she turned around on her bum and tried to climb up the stairs, she had to hurry if she wanted to get further down, she crawled to the part to the fifth floor and so on, it went rather slow, she seriously did not hope to bump into either of the guys but she needed her phones. Apart from that, she was rather curious to see how Gil would hold on, what was his quirk again? Did she not even remember anything? Nope, nothing at all, she had not been really obsessed but to get her mind wrapped around a vision of it would be wonderful. No phone first, safety next. Quirk questions could always be asked when she was safe and sound downstairs again. But first; avoiding a huge scandal. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

G went up the stairs and encountered the ape shit cray cray Harambe at the 7th floor. G used his Quirk and summoned his Isopod Spirit Animal, Goliath, who was about the size of 'Harambe' and charged at the monkey man with his claws. G allowed Goliath to deal with Harambe and brute force a victory. G was back in a safe distance, keeping an eye on the situation. He did keep an eye on the staircase. G saw that Goliath had the upper hand, having sharp claws as weapons and a silver exoskeleton that serves as decent armour, all that Harambe has is muscle and fur, which Goliath could tear. It was only a matter or landing a good slash on the monkey man
It took a while, but Goliath managed to restrain wannabe Harambe. Still, the monkey man was trouble, he needed to be knocked out. G searched for an object which he could use to knock out the gorilla. He went to an office and took a chair. And much like in those wrestling matches. G uses it like a prop and smashes a chair against the gorillas head, knocking it out
"Phew, two for two" G said to himself, satisfied with the job well done. Now he just wanted to go home and rest

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away As she crawled to the bathroom on the sixth floor, thank god close to the stairs, she felt ridiculous. Her skirt was probably very smudgy and she felt like a two-year-old while she was very far from that. It was almost more logical that she had a two-year-old than pretending to be one. Which reminded her of the conversation weeks ago. There was no time to think that! It would be embarrassing to think about that in a situation like this. She heard a loud thud and looked up at the ceiling as she grabbed her bag and went to sit. Right, that must be the King Kong thing that fell as she had no doubt that Gil would win such a thing, even if well the previous fight with that thing had not gone correctly. How long would he stay cold and had anyone downstairs already called the police? How did he even get in? Probably without his quirk, she needed a picture of him normal so that she could be protected, but how long would the transformation quirk go on for him? She decided to stand up and follow Gil his plan and took off her high heels before doing so. She slung her bag over her right shoulder and held her shoes in her left hand while trying to find support as she tried to walk, the sinks were fine, the wall, the door and out she was again, back to the stairs to hold the railing of the stairs to go down, it hurt, a lot but it would not work if she was stuck here and Gil would yell at her for being reckless, anything but that. He did not know how much she could lose her life by losing this white smartphone. She just made it to the fourth floor again when she heard another crash and she looked downstairs, there was police. What would they do, Gil needed to come here and her Scandal brain tried to think of something, right a plan! A good plan. She found it hard to go as fast as she could but the police would be faster if she would only stand still and wait. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

Dealing with the gorilla man, G and Goliath proceeded to go casually down the stairs. Arriving to the 6th floor, he heard a crash, but this crashing sound was not from upstairs. The gorilla is knocked out cold, so that could be either Hana being a klutz or cops. He really hoped it was the former and not the latter. Nevertheless, he hurried his step a bit while being very careful, in case its a new danger or cops... which were also a danger.
"Hana?" he catioutiously called out in case it was her or not her. Hell, he didnt know. His slightly paranoid side kicked in. G wanted to help Hana if she was injured, but he also wanted to help himself by keeping himself safe from harms way. What if it was a cop or another gorilla that woke up.
Going down to the 5th floor, he continues just as catiously and slowly. Goliath also following G and has his claws at the ready to slash a foe. Luckily, he saw it was just his friend. Unaware that cops are probably downstairs going up to him, G believes that Hana caused the crashing noise by slipping and falling
"Hey! Are you ok?" G asks as he goes to her side

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She had no idea how to sprint upwards without actually complaining but she was doing it without any problem because her own problem was rather minor now. She stumbled when she hurried to the fifth floor. No time to check where the police was at this point. All that went through her mind was Gil. He was there on the fifth floor and she noticed how she needed to catch her breath. "The police is here. Quick can you lift me?" When Gil answered and lifted her up she felt a bit uncomfortable and yet very safe. That's the point she finally noticed his ehm buddy. She stared at it. "Can he hide?" It was surely very curious looking and bug like, which made her shiver. She wrapped her arms around his neck and softly whispered because he needed to know the plan. "They are coming here .We tell them someone showed up and went upstairs where the thing was. You came to only get me out of the building." She said ushering him to walk and not very far from the fourth floor they were there. Some special unit. The police asked her if she was miss Mizuki and she confirmed. The officer who spoke looked at Gil but she was fast in speaking. "Someone is up there. Fighting that quirk user, I saw him last month .The quirker I mean." She had to get to the point and she snuggled against Gil with her cheek against his neck and looked at the officer. She felt a red blush creep up on her cheeks. "I called my boyfriend to pick me up. Is that okay?" The man nodded probably getting uncomfortable by their closeness and took a step aside to let them pass through. She didn't dare to look at the officers nor Gil and just waited. The pain fadrd a little now she did not have to walk. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

Oh crap. The police is here, how the hell was he gonna escape? He had no plans and he had to think fast. His thoughts were soon broken by Hana's voice when she asked him to carry her
"Oh... right.. of course" he said as he hurried to her side and picked her up and carried her bridal style
Hanako then finaly noticed his Quirk and asked if Goliath could hide. G nodded and dismissed Goliath and hence turned off his Quirk. She wrapped her arms around him and whispered the plan to him. But her whisper and her lips close to his ear, i made him blush even though she wasnt whispering anything sensual, but the fact that she was whispering in his ear was enough for him to turn into a shade of pink. G nodded and swiftly took off his signature sunglasses off his head and handed them to her so she can hide them in her boobs or where ever
Not very far from the 4th floor, they see a cop. Luckily the cop spoke to her, so she did the talking. When the cop turned to face G. G just stayed silent, he was a bit tense and nervous. Hana the life saver spoke for him. And even snuggled with G, which made him blush even more. She even called him a boyfriend. Oh god did he just want to smooch her so badly. The cop nodded and let them be. G having a huge smile and a clear pass to freedom took her out of the building and as soon as he left it. He kissed her on the lips. On the entrance of the building, holding her bridal style, he kissed her for a job well done. They did it. They dealt with a gorilla man and the cops and got away scott free together

She was actually rather surprised how easy it went, Hanako did not dare to actually look anywhere else but at the fabric of Gil his shirt. She had dared to say words that were not true and she wasnt sure how Gil would answer. She held her breath wanted to ask about the creepy looking thing. It seemed to be his quirk as he had dismissed it so easily. She bit her lip fishing out the sunglasses from under her blouse as it was no longer tucked into her skirt. It was rather awkward yet comfortable so close to Gil. As they got outside she wanted to thank him and turned towards him, she let out a soft moan from surprise as he kissed her. What? What! What was he doing? However, she didn't stop it. It was not as if she wanted to do so, damn it was only a joke right? Last time? She felt her muscles stop tensing up and her grip around his neck strengthen as she pulled herself closer. She abruptly stopped and stared at him with surprise. It was the adrenalin. That is how she tried to convince herself because what else could it be. But she looked shortly at his lips as she wanted to try again. She opened her mouth to say something, she heard her surname. It must obviously be her colleagues and her boss. She turned her eyes away from Gil and wondered if she should stand up again but this was comfortable and protected.
