It was a bit of a shame and a waste to have ordered coffee when you could get champagne, but whats done was done. hana said that she has some free time and that they could hang out
"Thats great. Im sure we can do something fun together. After all, we gotta celebrate our reunion...." he said, happy and eager and of course throwing all of the innuendo, if you replace fun with another three letter word.
"... with a bang" he thought to himself as he didnt actually finish that sentence out loud
He noticed she was caught by surprise, because of course. That waitress ruined his tempo. She kissed him on the cheek and he wanted to return the favor. And he honestly wanted to do since forever. Though the waitress and the champagne order ruined his flow and made it awkward. He just rolled with it
~Present Day~
G was home alone at his laptop, searching for a job. He pulled out a list that he narrowed down. Auto Mechanic, Bartender, Cashier, Fitness Trainer, Firefighter, Manicurist, Police Officer, Security Guard, Waiter
Among those, he left police officer more as a gag because its impossible.
"Uhh, lets see... If I had to narrow it more. Maybe I should remove the auto mechanic and the-" G spoke to himself but soon got interrupted by a text message. He picked up his phone and shockingly saw his childhood friend, Hanako
Hana: Care for a drink? Same cafe, right now?
He smiled a bit and typed from his phone
420GucciGang: Yea sure. Im on my way right now!
G then put his phone away, bookmarked the page he was on. Shut down the laptop and made his way to see Hanako

 at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She had actually realized a tad too late that she had ignored his confession about being an ex-criminal, the thing was that she had connected the dots herself already at the point and thus had forgotten to acknowledge the thing when Gil finally answered or admitted it when she had given her offended little speech. Silly how that happened, how she had freaked out, been mean and mommy-ish and now he had an arm around her waist and she had kissed him on the cheek and he returned the favour. The waitress was rather quick, perhaps the girl had a feeling that they were up to something and wanted to leave them alone. Hanako herself took one sip of coffee, she had at least paid for it, or well that's what she did when the girl brought the champagne bottle and Hanako handed her the yen that she needed to pay for the coffee and the expensive bottle. The girl couldn't help but look at them, from one to the other while the blonde was getting her money, it annoyed her slightly as if she was mixing in her personal affairs by the look in her eye. What kind of quirk would she have if she had any at all or could she keep her curious little nose out of their business? Which reminded her of what she had wanted to say a few seconds ago. "You know, it's getting too noisy here. We could take the bottle with us and just go somewhere else." Right, she thought she needed to be casual but the way Gil spoke made it a little less needy or so she thought, "I live close by." But was it good to show her own freak-ness? Her apartment, bought last month was clean, simply and only because of that but there were a lot of boxes still in the living room and nowhere to be seen a picture of her own family. If any pictures at this point at all. A lot of things she realized too late, such as the ex-criminal confession or the confession that he had adopted a kid, wait, Nah she did not need to think too far for now as she had an idea that would not matter. On the other hand, perhaps it would be only better to ruin any given mood that she had made up in her mind, "So, you are working for the state now more or less or how does that work?" She would pack her stuff and hold on to the bottle of champagne if G agreed to go away with her to wherever they want to go, perhaps she should say more than just her place, "We could also go to the park or something." Now she's speaking his language
"Really? Thats perfect. We should get away from the noise" G said
The two were ready to leave, but Hana asked him an odd question
"I dont have a job if thats what you're asking" he didnt want to say outloud that he's a Vigilante. Thats still illegal. Fighting crime without a fancy sheet of paper
He noticed her take the champagne and then volunteered to help her with it
"Let me hold that for you" he said as he grabbed the bottle. He didnt want her tripping and falling on glass. On second thought he should carry her. Well... he should, but he wont. Maybe another day. He got to kiss her and thats what made him happy
G doubted that this would lead into something serious or long lasting. But he was happy with just one night, if that was possible. Getting his childhood hottie friend, what could be better??
He decided to follow her home when she was ready. And along the way he made sure nothing clumsy happened, like once again, her tripping and falling or doing who knows what
"I just wanna say 'Are we there yet'" he thought to himself

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away The noise, yet the silence, people judging, people noting things down. She was afraid that the world that she started up would soon enough get a bigger exploitation in the long run, even with the three months that she made the news now, or well her alias, she got quite a few texts and she looked around to wonder if people would stare at her. She smiled sweetly at G as they stood up and took the bottle, "No I know but I am actually quite curious how your... task works out but well let's talk about something more fun." She winked as she brushed her hair again away from her shoulder and made sure she had everything, leaving the coffee as that was not important anymore. "Oh, well thank you. I live a few streets away." She pointed into the right direction after she had given off the bottle and made sure the skirt part of her dress was sitting alright and that her shoes were alright. She did not want to fall over her own two feet. She did not know why but it was perhaps an old habit that happened, normally when she met Gil, she would drag Nanami with her because she had to watch or take her baby-sister with her and right now, she stood still next to him, she automatically took his hand to take him to her little apartment that was in the middle of Tokyo. It was actually quite big but she hoped that she would be able to keep her job long enough or even get more money later on because another magazine would want her. It was getting busy on the streets, that happened when people went out of those buildings to get their lunch or just have a lunch date between work, she had two hours for her deadline but it could be four or, she would have to add it in and get a speech about not being late ever. She was just making her way through the people when her heel stopped because one of the stones on the pavement wasn't flat and she felt herself stumbling forward. Wonderful, in front of everyone she was falling, trying to catch the none existing balance that she had. She closed her eyes waiting for herself to hit the pavement. "Indeed. Something much more fun" he said as the two decided to leave
As the two made their way to the appartment, Hana grabbed G's hand. He did the same and held his friends hand as she led him to her place. They walked through the busy streets of Tokyo. And now with G more reaquanted with Hana was able to properly react when he saw her trip. He quickly grabbed her to prevent her from falling. And then he just grabbed her and lifted her up so he could carry her home... bridal style
"Oh Clumsy. I think this is the safest option. And I wont take no for a answer. Let me carry you. You just give me directions" he said as he carried Hana, but also had to hold the bottle of champagne
After which if she agreed to this and told him directions where to go and where to turn, G would follow her commands and directions and take her home. And of course he'd tease her a bit
"Hah! I hope you enjoy this once in a lifetime treatment!" he teased her a bit as he carried her home, not caring about any attention as he was just focused on her and his destination

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She had her right hand extended to stop the fall from being too harsh but at this point, she was awaiting it, the only thing that happened was that it did not happen. There was a sense around her waist again, her left hand was trying to let go of G, to not pull him into her problem of her clumsiness. She would apologize later but instead, she let out a little yelp as she felt herself being lifted up, not in the way of falling but more like gravity fixed the problem in a good way. She opened her eyes, pushed her glasses back from the tip of her nose to where it belonged to stare at Gil. "It is nice to have you around." She said in a hush. Her eyes tried to scan him, what was his intention, how strange it was going on a meeting like this. "Right, okay then I won't say no." She would give him the directions, starting with the name of the street, maybe he did know and if not, she would tell him the route, she held her hands around his neck, it felt more comfortable but it made her push her chest strongly against his, "This is a new experience." She said with a short laugh and she only laughed more when he said she should enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime treatment. "I shall remember that." When they arrived at the building she asked him to drop her softly and before he would let go she gave him another kiss on his cheek, "A thank you," she said before turning around to find the keys in her bag to open the first door, if nothing happened, she had not dropped the keys or anything so she would walk on to the elevator and push in a code, it was very fancy and she did not at all feel embarrassed, but the penthouse was perfect. The elevator was for four people maximum and that made it rather cosy at this point. "I worked so hard for this. It has the greatest view, you will love it." She made an assumption but what she liked most about the house was the huge windows in the living room, that showed the city skyline and let you be alone and see the freedom of the world and yet be surrounded by people and buildings. He helped and saved her from falling splat on her face. Hearing her say that it was nice to have hi aready gave him this odd, but warm and fuzzy feeling he didnt feel in a looong time. Perhaps not since his pre Quirk childhood. He would be emotional, but not now as he conviced Hana to let him carry her.
Hana gave him directions which he followed. She wrapped her hands around his neck, an action he approved of. And she pushed her chest closer to his. Another action he liked. He was glad she didnt rest her head against his chest as his chest or rather heart would be a pure tattletale. G was all calm and cool on the outside. But inside he was a shy, nervous and blushing mess. His heart was beating like crazy. If she rested her head against his chest, surely she'd hear that. And that would be embarassing
She laughed, which meant she was happy and in turn made him happy as well. When they arrived, she kissed him on the cheek again as a thank you. And he blushed again.
The two went into an elevator which was roomy, that was good. Although he disliked elevators beause he didnt trust them to work right. Hana spoke how she worked so hard and that he'll love the view.
"I'm sure I will" he said and held her hand, while still hoding champagne in the other one

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She felt a bit awkward now that they stood in the elevator as she had no idea what to do or say. It went quiet and fast because that was the quality of this penthouse building. The elevator was only for her, she did not even know what the other buttons were for that wasn't what they explained at that point that she bought it. With a bing sound, the elevator opened into her apartment and she looked at Gil, wondering what he would say. She twirled around, letting go of his hand shortly before taking him to the huge windows of her apartment, "Look, you can basically see a lot of Tokyo." She said with a smile. She let go of him and dropped her bag on the couch there and she walked into the open kitchen that you could see from where she had left her friend. She took two glasses out of the cupboard for the champagne and walked back. She couldn't stop smiling, perhaps it was that she made it a habit when people expected it of her, "So, what do you like to do now? I mean I only remember that we went on fake adventures through the alley of our neighbourhood and how my mum yelled at me because I always came home dirty." She gave a small giggle, She threw off her shoes and dropped herself on the couch where she looked at the view of her living room. Trying her very best to ignore the boxes that stood there and the modern way it was designed and how unpersonal. It was of course just her home for a month but it missed the soft pillows she wanted or the carpet or anything else that made it more her own than something you found in a catalogue. She could change that, in another way than just silly little things that you put on the cabinets and the tables. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

The elevator opened and he saw her home
"Mmm, fancy place you got here" he gave a light comment as he enetered her home. She then led him to the huge windows and oh boy did he see a ton of Tokyo, it was quite the view. But G himself is a very grounded guy. He lived his whole life on the ground floor, not way high up. He could see the appeal, bt not his cup of tea
"Yep! That's a view alright!" he said as he gave a neutral comment. He noticed she left, he didnt pursue her instead remained by the huge window. Although, he took a few steps away from it.
Hana went to the kitchen and took 2 glasses. He heard Hana ask him what does he want to do. He decided to walk over to her, while he did that, he heard about the stuff they did as kids, the fake adventures good times. Nostalgic. It used to be so good. But he had to bury those things and those feelings now, he couldnt get emotional now. He sat beside her on the couch and once again put his arm around her
"Yea... those were fun times as kids. So, ... since we're adults now. Why dont we have some nice adult fun"

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away A lot of people, no matter the gender would be able to read a mood, and where Hanako first thought she was making up a fairy tale history about having a stupid and childish crush on her one and only adventure friend, she had no crush now but perhaps it had not been an imaginative fantasy for her alone. A fantasy that she had never considered until about fifteen minuted ago. Perhaps it was the idea that she might not see him again that made it that she considered it more. That would certainly be more save for the both of them. He wasn't so excited about her penthouse as she would have hoped but on the other hand, she did not care ..it was her apartment so no one else had to like it but she herself. As she sat on the couch, she asked what he would want to do. She hated how she made the reference to the past one. Calling herself dirty in a completely different context. It was very lame but she had said it and watched him while he came over to sit next to her, insinuating something her mind told her as he moved his arm around her again. She scooted forward though to pop open the champagne, a little of the bubbles came out but she tried her best not to care now. She filled the two glasses that she got and handed one to Gil. When she took her own, she had decided to show how much braver she was than years ago and how she could make decisions even if she was clumsy. So she stood up shortly, moved up the skirt of her dress to above her knees so she could sit on his lap, facing him. Surely a small pink blush appeared on her cheeks. She checked his reaction before holding up the glass, "Cheers. To adult fun."

Hana filled the glass with champagne and then suddenly sat in his lap
"Mmm, I like" he thought to himself with a big smile. He loved the situation he was in. A fancy apartment, champagne and a sexy woman sitting in his lap. Today turned out to be wonderful for G
"Cheers, to adult fun~" he said and then went for it. She showed how brave she was, he went to show her how brave he was, with a kiss on the lips
It was a short one, he didnt want to get carried away and force himself if she didnt want it. Instead he pput his arm around her and drank the champagne. Yes indeed, today was a good day for Gilbert Ashworth. Miku is in school, he sees his childhood friend and years later he actually gets to kiss his friend, who has also become quite a hottie.
Now G wanted to see what Hanako would do after that. Will she go for it or fold. Would she do something else completely? What is adult fun for her. If its drinking, G is sure he has her outclassed. Of all things.... alcoholism is what helped him learn to hold his liquor

The thing was that she wasn't even sure if this was the moment but the fact was that she would not have minded if she had been. Not that she needed it, there were too many thoughts going on in her mind, as if she was writing four articles at the same time and yet she was writing none, she was just actually having fun. She bit her lip softly, not because she was nervous, at this point she was everything but. The reason to that was there was one big smile on Gil his face, that made it kind of obvious that he did not mind at all, it perhaps meant he prefered it to the comparison of a couple of minutes before. Instead of being able to take a sip of the champagne, her lips were caught by his, which only made her smile more. It was going rather satisfying and even if she still had no idea why or how she wanted this or especially time-wise, she just let it go for now. She scooted a little closer, the happening of the short kiss as well as his arm around her, her ice blue eyes never actually stopped looking at him as she followed his example of drinking champagne as well. The bubbles gave a weird feeling in her nose, she wasn't much of a drinker and if she drank it would be normal wine or something stronger, which would be mostly one glass, but she now had decided not to actually be a fan of champagne. The problem was the glass now, she could not actually put it on the table now and she did not want to get off. So she held it tight in her right hand as she was done after two sips. "What do you consider adult fun.... hmm?" She whispered before she would give him a kiss in return, which felt very exciting. She had surely waited that he would look at her and that she won't accidentally bump the glass he was holding. You learn to deal with such details as a kluntz and she was now quite okay with it. Hana did not mind the kiss. That was great. He made sure to finish his glass so he could focus on Hana and keep his eyes on her, after all, she kept her gaze on him when he was drinking champagne. He saw she finished hers as well and tightly held her glass, which made her look kinda cute. She whispered what does he consider adult fun before kissing him. And now he felt he could show her instead of telling her. He hugged her while also holding his champagne glass, and he kissed her as well. But this time it wasnt a short kiss. This time it was a longer kiss... and a french kiss. Well, the glasses they were holding were a bit of a pain, he wished they could just drop those or throw em away. But whatever, he ignored that and decided to have some adult fun with his near, dear and very attractive childhood friend ~Fade to Black~ |

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away It had gone way smoother than Hanako would have imagined, perhaps it was just the emotional wave of meeting after what was about twelve years later. Surprising how they still recognized each other. She had shut her eyes for a few seconds and simply enjoyed the after effect it had on her mind and brain, she felt like she wanted to clean herself, present herself as a good person that knew how to function in this world, without the little hiccup about her family. She opened her eyes slowly as she realized that she was no longer holding the champagne class, it had actually survived and rolled underneath the couch that she was still on. Should she be... more clear in the fact that she was absolutely not waiting for a relationship or did he understand as well? Not that it had been bad or anything, no absolutely not but... she did not know what to say. So instead of using words, it was good to use deeds right? She gave him a short peck on the cheek, by raising up, balancing on her left hand and pushing herself further up after she done so. Where... was her dress? Oh.. spotted. She stood up to take it and thought about fixing herself up a little later, it was not entirely necessary now. She walked to one of the cabinets in the room and found a hair tie which she used to make a knot and be done with the messy blonde hair which was another effect of... the couch. "Would you stay for lunch?" She decided to say, perhaps it was good to ask, there could be various answers that could give her information: 1) if he wanted to go away immediately, she fucked up and they would never speak again. Although there were other ways he could say that and with a proper excuse and well leaving behind a phone-number it could be okay. 2) he could stay for lunch only and that would make it that they were friends, depending if they would talk and both figure out this was just a one night (afternoon) stand or 3) he wanted to stay for more than lunch. Which would be bad. How do you speak about such things without being offensive, she wasn't sure if she was good at that. MADE BY VEL OF GS |

You dont see your dear childhood friend in 12 years? What do you do? You sleep with her. And thats just G did and loved it. He had such nice time having adult fun with her. They werent kids anymore. Hana went to get her dress and fix her hair. G decided he should also ...tidy himself up.
As he took his stuff he heard Hana ask him if he can stay for lunch. Well, he didnt mind that. Lunch sounds nice, he would love to try her cooking. Although after lunch he really should be going. He will have to escort Miku home, so as much as he'd like to stay and chat with his dear friend, he really couldnt
"Sure, lunch sounds nice" he answered her, but also asked "Soo, where's your restroom?"
If he was gonna have lunch, he at least had to wash up and tidy up and not be a mess. After that he figured that they could chat and catch up for real
"I gotta say, she's pretty hot. But maybe not someone I'd date for real. I'd rather keep her as a real friend rather then a fuck buddy." he thought to himself
