Cian had carefully put together a number of group rescue exercises with the opening of Semper Fi. Their rescue facilities were top notch and he wanted to use the opportunity to teach his classes a very valuable lesson. The school year was in full swing and it was time that he provided them with a big challenge. That in of itself was a big channel for Cian. He had to craft puzzles for the students to make creative use of their quirks and put them in a situation where they had t work together to complete the objective. This most important part of this class was learning to work together with people that didn't interact too much. He knew that some of the students knew each other, but he designed the groups to have from different classes. This way he could do his best to ensure they weren't too familiar with each other. It was a fun idea and he had a lot of fun putting together the courses for the students. And naturally, he couldn't help but place little mental bets on how each student was going to handle each situation. Gamma Squad was going to have an interesting course. It was modeled after a type of rescue the students likely wouldn't see until late in their careers. Secret bases and facilities weren't generally open to the public and required quite a bit of clearance to enter, even in a rescue attempt. national security was very important after all. It was the military that usually took care of those kinds of rescues and was why they had a training course like the one Squad Gamma was going to partake in. Back when quirks were first manifesting, a worker at one of the military's research bases had their newly found quirk go out of control. It put the whole base on lockdown and caused a huge problem for the base in general. The result of that disaster prompted the military to develop the underground base rescue course. That was what the students were going to take part in. It was a mock underground base. This one, in particular, was an arboretum. It housed many different plants and vegetations for all different kinds of research. In the real thing, samples of seeds from just about every known plantlife was stored safely in case the species were to go extinct. The seed bank was a valuable resource that needed to be protected and in the rescue that day, not only was the seed bank saved but all the personnel within the base as well. It was the students turn to try and replicate that feat. There were nine targets to save and bring back to the marked off section of the ground outside the entrance to the base. Right next to it was the starting line where the students were to gather before entering the base and starting the class. A few mannequins were stuck within the major area of the Arboretum itself. With all the trees and vegetation around, it was almost like navigating a forest with steel walkways and a metal sky. One of the mannequins was stuck tangled in some vines. It belonged to one of the few known quirk affected plants. It was a carnivorous plant that used it's leaves to "smell" and "taste" meat and blood. It was attracted to it and often used its vines to ensnare its prey and bring it to its acid filled cup for digestion. While the mannequin had neither of these things, it was still tightly within the grip of the plant. And its vines were very strong, strong enough that not even a chainsaw could cut them through quickly. Somehow, the students needed to get the plant to let go of the mannequin and grab it before it was ensnared again. On the opposite end of the Arboretum were the saltwater plants. They were in a large pool underneath the water and with them was another mannequin. It was buried up to its heels in the dirt that fed the plants and needed to be dug out and brought to the surface. Doing so was going to take a bit of time and with the saltwater around, it would be difficult to even keep a person's eyes open. The water was such that it could dissolve may other liquid-based things pretty quickly, like plasma or salvia. Another mannequin was stuck on top of a very unique genetically engineered tree. It was about seven meters tall and was kept away from the other trees in the Arboretum. Its trunk was very thick and was about a wide as two of the students put together. Not only that, but the trunk was extremely sturdy due to its thickness and size. Chopping it down was just plain not an option. To make matters worse, the trunk also had a number of spikes protruding out of it to prevent animals from climbing up it. So those hoping to rescue the mannequin had to find some other way to make it up the tree without climbing or cutting it down. Fortunately, this tree was also special in that it fed off a specific kind of light reflected off of the moon. As such and the reason why it was kept away from other trees, it was kept dark and shaded with minimal lights on it. In one of the side chambers of the Arboretum was a room where the plants inside needed very intense sunlight. The entire room was covered in light and there was not a single area of shade to be found, even under the plants themselves. The floors, the walls, and the entire ceiling were all lined with light fixtures to make the room as bright as possible. Even a person walking in will have their shadow diffused to the point of nonexistence. It was in here that a mannequin needed rescue. It was set with an injured leg and needed to be moved very carefully. It was also sitting among some clearly marked poisonous plants. This meant that the mannequin needed to be moved from afar before picked up manually unless the plants could be moved or cut away without touching them directly. Then there was the ventilation room of the underground facility. It used a massive wind tunnel to bring fresh air in and out of the base. A mannequin was set up against the guard vent of the massive fan that churned the air through the wind tunnel. Its arms were stuck int he grates to keep it from blowing away. The entire tunnel was a smooth slick metal surface. Nothing was capable of sticking to the walls or getting a hold of anything to hang on to. And to make things worse, the wind was blowing so hard through the tunnel that anything under two hundred pounds would be blown away like a sheet of paper. Near the ceiling of the Arboretum was a long catwalk the lined the walls of the main area. It was used to tend to the taller trees in the facility when it was needed. A mannequin was stuck up there at a portion of the catwalk that was in disrepair. Getting to the catwalk was as easy as climbing the stairs to the entrance of it, but part of the catwalk could no longer support itself while hanging from the ceiling. The wood that served as the platform to walk on a was flimsy and broken. It could just barely hold the weight of your average teenage boy. Anything heavier would break the wood and send them falling to the ground floor of the Arboretum. The last three were in the personal chambers of the base. One was locked in their living quarters. The door was damaged and crushed inward in the middle, It needed to be unwedged and moved by force in over to get to the mannequin and rescue it. Messing with the door's control panel or the system for the living quarters at all would wedge the door even tighter and make it harder for the door to be moved. Another mannequin was stuck under a collapsed bunk bed that was going to need the combined efforts oft he teens to move. It was very heavy and if moved, the stuffed that caused it to collapse would fall too, injuring anyone underneath it. It was possible to lift everything just enough to move the mannequin under it, but doing so by oneself was ill-advised. The last mannequin was in the base's showers. All of them were on and spraying out scalding hot water uncontrollably. The mannequin was likely to be burned by the water if not rescued in a timely fashion within five rounds. It was possible to turn off some of the showers, but the rest could not be turned off without turning off the water to the personal chambers completely. This would, of course, affect other rescue targets in the chambers because it would mess with the systems in the living quarters. The class will end once all mannequins are rescued and brought back to the safety zone, or time runs out (the event ends and the topics closed). This is not an exam, but a class. Students are here to learn and practice, not compete with the other squads to do things the best way. Mistakes are allowed. The important thing here is for students to learn to work together for a common goal. Aside from the stuff in this opening post, the topic and setting are free to use and proceed as you wish. If you have any questions, contact me on the discord. From this point on the student shave free reign and I will not be replying to the topic unless needed for something specific and by request. Have fun with it!

On the one hand, perhaps the most creative teacher at U.A. High finally got access to a truly state of the art facility with all the funding, gizmos, and locations that he could ask for in setting up a rescue simulation. Usually the courses that they did were difficult but doable, but this one… this one was something else. This was an underground base filled with trees, like some kind of artificial forest with science-y bits around it for some reason. He had no idea how in the hell this many trees grew underground or how in the world Glave-sensei had gotten this set up, but these were questions for another time or never because at this point he had just kind of accepted that an absolutely absurd amount of effort would be put into these simulations. They were all different as far as he knew, too, since nobody else’s descriptions looked anything like this.
On the other hand, and more annoyingly, he had quite possibly the worst teammate to ever walk the Planet Earth only mere feet away from him as he stood at the starting line surveying the field for the first time. His other teammate was a short, dark shinned girl that he hoped wouldn’t be quite as insufferable as her. Rin Kurama. The golden girl of U.A. and the subject of every limp dicked nerd’s wet dreams in 1-A, apparently, along with half the girls in that disgusting class. The girl who had some sort of lover’s spat with her boy toy right before he got expelled or whatever from U.A. and the most pompous little shit he had ever met in life his on top of it.
Immediately after the student rankings came out, Almighty Rin came out to the U.A.-wide chat to absolutely shit on every single student in the entire school in a true display of what type of person she really was. She came, completely unprompted, and declared that she had gotten the Number One position without even trying. That she was so much better than all of the students in all three of the current hero classes that she didn’t even need to try to be genetically superior in every way or whatever. The most disgusting part about the whole thing was that there were people so obsessed with that bitch that they actually defended her when Alex had called out the ego that was truthfully bigger than the entire goddamn solar system to say shit like that in public and expect not to get flak for it.
A school full of hero candidates, and at the twat’s first real success she decides to immediately turn around and shit on the rest of the school and basically call them all worthless wastes of space. Rin, who had done nothing in the first place to actually earn that spot and got it above someone like Lani who had actually captured a goddamn villain and put her hero training to use. Rin, who was so insecure about her position that she kept trying to arrange some sort of back alley fight to ambush anyone who spoke out against her. Rin, who prior to the ranking had in her infinite cruelty had made a plan to make a girl cry her eyes out in public at the event she herself arranged and invited the poor girl to just to brag about having Jasmine as a partner in a dramatic fashion while simultaneously not having to actually turn the girl down herself. Nope, just led her on until the night of until she got up on stage to soak in the tears like callous and evil person that she was.
It was fucking disgusting, really, and unless it was confirmed by damn near everyone he wouldn’t have believed that someone who looked like her would attract that much attention. Her skin, beady little eyes, and discolored lips looked like that of a flesh eating ghoul from a horror game, and her body type was roughly equivalent to a Holocaust victim in terms of curves from what he’d seen of her. She couldn’t be any more of a twig if she had tried, and he had no doubt that she had tried. Her hair was so meticulously cared for it was obvious the bitch cared about her appearance as much as she did about ‘gently reminding’ everyone else that she thought they were worthless side characters in the hero movie that was her life.
There was an extremely short list of people that Alexander really and truly hated in his life. The head of the orphanage that ruthlessly beat the hell out of him and other defenseless kids until their spirits broke and they became obedient little drones was one of them. If he had stayed there for the better part of the decade like some of the others, chances are his spirit would have broken as well and he was keenly aware of the fact that he got lucky. He legitimately couldn’t think of another person in this entire planet that he hated other than that old bitch and Rin Kurama, the golden child of U.A. who put on a nice little show in front of faculty but then turned around to reveal how much of a ruthless snake she really was when she thought you were beneath her. She was the type of person that cut down anyone else’s successes around her through whispered words and nudges to ensure that her place at the top of the pecking order was upheld and nobody could threaten her precious feeling of undisputed superiority to literally everyone else in the school.
Alex was a lot of things, but being a two-faced ghoul wasn’t one of them. He had completely ignored her and basically pretended the goddamn animal didn’t exist thus far, and planned to do so for the duration of the exercise. He would not give that egomaniac the satisfaction of being praised like the sycophants that she surrounds herself with do every waking moment of every day. The only reason the American didn’t drop out of the course entirely was because this was a one in a lifetime opportunity to run on a course this advanced and it would stunt his development quite a bit if he had just walked out in protest.
If this had been any other class or any other teacher, Alex would have likely just ignored his teammates and rushed forward immediately to do as much as possible by himself. While he was still strongly considering doing that, it wasn’t immediate and in a way that completely ignored both of his teammates. He had never met the other girl before, and if she wanted to come up with some sort of strategy he was more than willing to hash something out as long as it didn’t involve working with the self-proclaimed Messiah of U.A. and boosting her ego even more by acting as her personal slave like so many others seemed all too happy to do. His armor set wasn't ready at this point, so he just had the good old U.A. gym uniform with no modifications for this exercise. It was a shame, but it was probably a good thing to not be forced to show his hand to the snake this early on. The more surprises he had in store for their inevitable confrontation, the better. If she wanted to think that she was completely untouchable for a little bit longer, that suited his purposes just fine. Her otherworldly arrogance would catch up to her eventually, and the delinquent hoped to be the one to return some reality to the head space of an individual who basically considered herself a deity walking on Earth in the very near future.

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell Today was going to be an interesting day. Nyke was going to experience many things she had never experienced before. The military base for the Japanese army, Semper fi opened up to the public and were interested in seeing how quirks could benefit them. And with that chance in mind, their rescue teacher, Glave, decided to organize a class for rescue operations using the base's facilities and resources. It seemed like an impossible task that would get an instant rejection from any military personnel that was asked. However, with Yuuei being the golden child of Japanese trek into the hero profession it seemed an exception was made and the students were going to get to perform the same kind of rescue shenanigans as the soldiers. It was truly an unprecedented opportunity. This was also going to be the first chance Nyke got to wear her newly made costume for a class. It was going to be the first time in her actions as a hero that she was going to get to wear her hero costume. She considered it a test run. She didn't know how practical or what kind of effects on her abilities the costume would have. But testing it out in a class rather than when she was in true danger was probably the best idea. Her class president declared that she was going to be putting in the effort to get costumes ready for everyone and after a mostly one-sided conversation, Hyke was able to get hers done as well. This was all done behind the back of her father, of course. She didn't want his approval or his ire for deciding to do such a thing on her own. He wanted her to be the face of his business as they moved into the growing market of hero technology and support devices. She assumed he had something planned for her to wear already, something that had the company's logo and slogans on it. But Nyke wanted no part in it. She wanted to carve her own path as a hero. What she wore came in three main parts. The most obvious thing wasn't he long sleeveless hoodie she wore. It was all black and dropped to just past her pelvis. its hem and collar were adorned with a wide white flame and folded over to provide support to the cloth. The hoodie was large enough to look a bit baggy on her head, but it was mostly to make sure she could move it easily and it didn't press on her white hair too much. At the bottom of the back of the hoodie was a tied white ribbon just about where her tail could be seen coming out the bottom of it. The hoodie was actually split there to give her tail room to move and the ribbon served to secure the cloth of the hoodie and add a personal touch to the otherwise plain space. Her legs were covered with a combination of solid black stockings and baggy black shorts. The top of the over knee stockings had small white ribbons to mark them off at the center of the front of her thighs and there was enough room for a tasteful absolute territory between them and her shorts. The bottoms of her shorts were actually snug to compared to the rest of them. With how active she was going to be, she didn't need the bagginess of the shorts to expose anything she didn't want them to. The top of the shorts, of course, had a hole for her devil's tail, with was currently the main conduit of her quirk. She left room in her costume for where more could be, but for now, like all her clothes, there was space for the tail she had as a part of her mutation. Lastly where her boots and gloves. They were the most basic part of her design and served to keep her body protected like normal clothes would. Her gloves came up above her elbows and were a tight fight. And her boot had thick soles to provide her a small bit of height and traction. All in all, Nyke was a small girl, much shorter than a lot of the other students in her class. As for her partners in the class, she didn't know them well at all. Nyke wasn't want to pay much attention to anyone else in the school. Their names seemed familiar, but she didn't really care to remember why. She was far too wrapped up in her own things to worry about school politics and rivalries. And as far as the rescue class went, that was what she was going to focus on. So far, she had been breezing through them without too much trouble. She had to learn to hold back her strength a bit in order to not hurt those that she was rescued, but aside from that, she was confident in her ability to do this class. This one was going to take place in an underground Arboretum. It was basically a tree museum as Nyke understood it. Something happened in the past that made such a rescue necessary and they were going to replicate it. Between the base, the team up, the costume, and the Arboretum Nyke were experiencing many things for the first time. She was interested in how it was going to turn out. She stood silently at the starting point, only taking a moment to glance at the people she was going to be doing the rescue with. She didn't know about their quirks or their experience in class, but she hoped she could work well with them without having to speak too much. It was only going to be a matter of time before they realized how little Nyke spoke and how blunt and one-sided she was. And once all of them were there and ready, Nyke would be ready as well. If they wanted to plan or at least introduce themselves to each other first, that was fine. But Nyke wasn't going to be the one to initiate it. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Perhaps signing up for this little event had been a mistake. In hindsight, Rin knew that avoiding too many classes would inevitably bite her in the rear. At the same time however, the raven haired female wasn't all too interested in dedicating more time than absolutely neccessary to the classes. Perhaps to most, being teamed up cross class would be seen like an interesting chance to get to bond and experience what the other classes had to offer, both when it came to experiences and differences. For Rin, however, it was more like being thrown out to the sharks. The other classes had, in most recent times, been rather unpleasant to her. Comments, rumors, strange stares. It was especially class 1-C that caused her headaches, with Alex and Darren seemingly leading the charge if the raven haired female was to believe her sources. So when Rin had spotted one of the two delinquents names on her team, Alex Deraine, any desire to partake had struck bedrock at record pace. Albeit she had signed up in good faith. There was always the option that, now that they were to be working on the same team, Alex-san wouldn't be such a massive pain in her rear. Trying to remain positive, Rin nodded to herself as she was getting changed into her hero costume. A sleek black body suit, with a utility belt tightened around her waist. On the girl's shoulders were a pair of red caduceus, indicating that she was a medic, at least to some extent. Moving across the camp, Rin was idly scratching her own cheek, trying to somehow index all the knowledge they had been granted. This was meant to be an underground type rescue. As far as Rin had understood, the specifics of the area they'd be working in contained an Arboretum. Plants, herbs, trees, all that sort of thing. Perhaps not what Rin would've initially suspected when it came to dealing with an underground environment. Given the different locations on the little checkboard, it sounded more like something you could find in a small mountain ravine, rather than an underground military base. Not that it mattered, when it came down to it. Their task was simple. Cooperate to come up with some kind of plan to most efficiently utilize their quirks and individual strengths, in an attempt to rescue as many of the dummies within the timelimit as possible. Normally, if Rin was given time and understanding, she'd be spending a lot of time reading up on layouts, on potential hazards, how they were adviced to approach it all. The raven haired female had however, after seeing the teammembers, decided that the teamleader for this little operation most certainly wasn't going to be her. Rin would keep herself quiet, become part of the pack, and do the job that was expected of her. Hopefully, such an approach would keep Alex's concentration on the task at hand, rather than his... grudge? Could one really call it a grudge?.. Rin wasn't sure.Arriving on scene, the girl did a short bow before the both of them, quickly introducing herself all the while. "Ohaio. I'm sorry if I was running slightly late. Pleased to meet you, Nyke-san, Alex-san." Rin was doing her best to give them both a warm and welcoming greeting. There wasn't any kind of followup to her initial greeting. Hopefully, one of them would be willing and capable of leading a group. Please.

For once, Alex had actually took preparation seriously. They were given a general map of the area with the general location of each mannequin before starting, and he had actually studied the public information of his two teammates pretty intensely. He had even asked Miku to clarify was Nyke’s quirk was via text because he didn’t understand the explanation that was in her public file. ‘Devil’s War Machine’ was very descriptive, but not very informative but it seemed like she just had a tail and was just super heavy. He could work with a description consisting of a super heavy person with a tail.
He had also gotten there a bit earlier than the other two and had the look around behind the starting line, and had seen the catwalks up above that he otherwise would have missed due to the map only showing that there were four victims in need of rescue in the main room, not the elevation or specific location.
”All right, game plan time.” the delinquent started, pulling out the map he had adopting the commanding tone of an officer giving orders to his men. ”There are four rescue targets total in this room, and while one is up top,” he paused for a moment to point upwards at the catwalks, ”I’ll get that one a bit later. There seem to be three at ground level. We can see one of them from here,” he said, pointing at the giant mutant plant that had entangled one of the mannequins in some absurdly thick vines. ”If I know Glave-sensei, one of them is going to be in the pool of water over at the other end of the main area,” he continued, pointing to the location of the water in the map, ”And I’m assuming the last one is near that big ass tree and section of darkness over there.” Alex said, pointing toward the part of the main area where things got unnaturally dark and spooky.
”Correct me if I’m wrong, but Nyke – your quirk is basically you have a metal tail and weigh a lot, right? If you can still swim, you’re probably a better option than either me or Rin in taking the water part especially if it’s buried under something. Y’all can work out which one of you gets the plant and which one gets the water assuming I’m correct – I’ll take the dark area because there’s no way in fuck that the area was put there by accident.”
”Stage two after we rescue the initial three in my opinion is very simple.” he continued, moving onto the next rooms. ”One of them I would bet is part of that scary looking catwalk and bridge mess up top.” he commented, pointing upwards again at the catwalks and wooden platform up above. ”The second side room you can see from the obnoxious amount of light coming out over there,” he continued, pointing again in the direction so the others could see and get visual confirmation. ”And the third is just a spot that’s called ‘Ventilation Room’ in the map with not a lot of info other than there’s a mannequin in there. I’ll take the catwalk and platform rescue up high, and I think Rin is the one most suited to blaring light room because obviously I’m useless without shadows and Nyke would probably overheat from all the scorching light and heat on the metal. That leaves Nyke to take on the ventilation room, and this is where the map gives even less information and we will have to meet back up. It only says that there are three rescue candidates in the ‘personal area’ of the base, with only a location but no description or room by room like the rest. We’ll have to meet back up here and go in together because we know jack shit about that location.”
The entire time he had been speaking, he had been talking with the confidence of someone who had this master plan all figured out and was absolutely convinced that it was going to work. In reality, he had come up with this in all of about ten minutes and just went with what intuitively made sense based off of the information that he had. He didn’t want to be seen as throwing Rin to the wolves by outright telling her to go into the presumably dirty ass pond and wallow in filth for the next half hour, so he punted that responsibility to his two teammates as he assumed that Nyke’s unique body composition would make it hard for her to swim.
Speaking of Nyke, he had spent the entire time speaking directly to her and didn’t even glance over in Almighty Ruler of the Universe Rin even once. He had positioned himself as far away from Rin as possible for vast majority of the plan, and that was certainly on purpose. There was not a snowball’s chance in hell that he was actually going to work with her, so he just punted her away as much as possible so he wouldn’t even have to look at her for the duration of this exercise. He still wanted to win, and if he could do that by coming up with a plan that both distanced himself from her infuriating face and did well enough to rescue all of the victims then it was a win-win. He had no idea if the ventilation bit would be a good fit for Nyke, he basically just gave her the only option in the second part that didn't seem like an automatic failure for her given the constraints of metal on the body and weighing more than usual.
Still, he was somewhat surprised that the bitch didn’t come in immediately and start barking orders herself. It was probably some shit ploy to force him or Nyke – but Nyke didn’t seem the talkative type – to come up with a plan and use it against them later when it either didn’t work or she sabotaged it. If she wanted to sabotage the plan out of spite, that was honestly fine with Alex and since he had separated each member it wasn’t like they could blame anyone else if they simply chose to throw. Even if the self-proclaimed Queen Bitch of the Universe decided to be worthless, he had no doubt that he and Nyke could do this course together if it came down to it except for maybe the bright lights room. If the ghoul-faced monster was half as good as her ranking would suggest, however, this should be a piece of cake. For all of his faults, one of the delinquent's greatest strengths was his ability to act much more quickly than most others due to the complete lack of self-doubt that usually prohibited a course of action from forming. It might not be perfect, but it was at least somewhat conventional and it was quick. Those two factors alone might make it good enough when it came down to the testing phase.
”Sound good? If so, we can get this show on the road.”

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell Nyke watched as the final member of the team joined them. She seemed pretty unassuming and unlike Alexander and Nyke, Japanese. She was from class 1-A and was quick to greet the both of them. Nyke simply gave her a quick wave in return. She lifted her palm up and just rotated it with a quick sixty-degree angle to acknowledge the girl instead of speak. It wasn't that Nyke was unfriendly, it was just that she felt as though that was enough. Speaking too much required too much effort. More than she was going to put forth. And in her other teammate's case, that didn't seem to be a problem. He began to explain a plan that he had come up with and had a general idea where the mannequins inside were. It seemed there wasn't much tot he search part of the rescue, which left them to solve the conundrum of how to save each of them.
However, a lot of assumptions and guesswork was made. There was no doubt that everything within wasn't going to go according to plan, but it was a decent enough start to it all. Nyke only really listened for when her name was mention and half tuned out the rest. What she got from it all was that she was in charge of two of the mannequins. One that was in some water and another that was in some nondescript room. That seemed simple enough. Breaking it down gave each of them less responsibility and covered more ground at once.
"Simple."
She responded without much else to what was being said. Instead, she noticed that Alexander was speaking to her for the majority of the explanation. It was almost as if Rin was an outsider to it all rather than a participant. How odd was that? Nyke didn't pay too much attention to the things that went on around the school. She kept to herself most of the time. Was there something going on between these two? Nyke couldn't be bothered with it. Sure, asking was as simple as a few words, but she didn't even want to do that. The class was more important anyway. It seemed like they were both willing to do that at least, which was why they were here, so Nyke would do the same. If anything came up over the course of the class, she would just sidestep the problem and do it herself.
Without waiting for confirmation from either Alex or Rin, Nyke turned around and started to head down into the Arboretum. The path in front of the starting point they were all gathered at lead down into the facility and right into the main room, so she was going to do that first. Going down into the place, she was surprised to see it was just as it was described as. It seemed obvious, but there was a bit of disbelief when someone said that an underground Arboretum was basically just an enclosed forest as a museum for trees. It was a hard thing to imagine, but as she stepped into the main area, Nyke didn't have to anymore. She was inside of one and all around her were all different kinds of trees. The place was actually pretty bright, which made sense. Trees used sunlight to feed themselves, so the Arboretum had tog et that down here in some fashion. The walkways through the Arboretum made it feel like they were traversing a public park. But there was plenty of time to look at the place in awe. Right now she needed to find one of the pools of water she was supposed to be looking out for. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ
