❛❛ The Crimson Angel Rin Kurama 16 || Demisexual || Female || Hero |
PERSONALITY POSITIVE ✔ Intelligent, Patient, Hardworking, Earnest, Trustworthy NEGATIVE ✖ Indecisive, Self-doubting, Awkward, Introverted, Sheltered. LIKES ✔ Reading, Progress, Introspection, Intellectuality and Symmetry/Order DISLIKES ✖ Chaos, Hunger, Suffering, Stupidity, Herself. PERSONALITY Rin is a strange combination of emotions and ideals. The girl inherently believes that everyone and everything has its own place of belonging, where there is no conflict or suffering. For this equilibrium to be reached, situations need not be perfect, only sufficient. For individuals, this means living their lives without suffering, without hunger, without fearing for their lives. To live free of such mortal shackles. Therefore, individuals pushing for such an agenda, are heroes to her, regardless of what they're dubbed by society. Likewise, if anyone upsets the equilibrium, they are villains. Plain and simple. When it comes to Rin herself, her quirk enforcing a self-destructive pattern has caused her personality quite the damage. Disliking herself, having very little confidence, hating her quirk, she has learned to associate her qurik with pain and suffering. It is a quirk which she at times is hesitant to use. Practicing it requiring a sacrifice. | APPEARANCE HEIGHT: 1.50m WEIGHT: 49kg HAIR/STYLE: Rin has long, Raven dark hair. It reaches halfway down her shoulders. It is often placed into a simple ponytail. SKIN/SCARS: Due to her quirk requiring her to bleed, the girl has skin as white as snow. EYES: Rin's normal e ye color is sapphire blue, however, when she overuses her quirk, they can seem either purple or grey. NOTABLES: Rin has several scars over her wrists. Rin is excruciatingly slim, to the point where it could almost be considered sickening. The young woman's eyes are sapphire blue with a tendency to sparkle, often easily drawing attention towards themselves. Lined with a layer of blue, they are easily her most remarkable feature. The girl's nose is somewhat short, and her chin round and soft. From the multiple times she has misused her quirk, her lips have lost the tinted red, and instead become borderline grey. Likewise, her skin sickeningly pale, making her appear almost like a walking dead at times, if it wasn't for the eyes filled with life. As for Rin's curves, she is outfitted rather nicely from natures side. Even so, she'd be a lot more appealing if she'd be able to gain some weight to furtherly fill out the curves. She's just a bit too thin, and looking at her doesn't leave you in doubt about her being quite fragile. With how much attention Rin puts into her looks, the first impression people tend to recieve, is that she could easily be an arrogant snob. Dress-code wise,she often wears a long dark coat and heavy boots. Anything that she can hide herself behind. Recently, after beginning at Yuuei, her style has relaxed. Her heroics attire has also been changed. |
❛❛To bleed for others, may be the most heroic of all. |
HISTORY They had come from two opposite worlds, Enzo and Trisha Kurama. A business man with a knack for finesse and a young woman brimming with passion. They were a relatively poor couple when it came to valuables, but they were rich in that they had each other. They had gotten married, almost unceremoniously. The wedding was only bride and groom, plus the bride's parents. It was a small life, but a life that suited the both of them. Not many months after having gotten married, Trisha became pregnant with <Daddy's character>. The two soon became three. In the market square, Enzo had setup a shop. Enzo mostly dealt in antiques. Old ornamental or traditional Japanese crafts and art. Their livelihood wasn't lucrative, but everything seemed to hold together. The family had what it needed. A warm home, food on the table, a stable income. Their love bore fruit once more, as Trisha became pregnant, this time carrying Rin. That is about when things took a turn for the worse. The business in the small antique shop wasn't increasing, but the family's expenses were. The numbers on the bottom line weren't lying. Every month, they were slightly in the red. This is what caused Enzo to take more risky trades. higher risk often came with higher reward, but it was also easier to be tricked. Putting more hours into his work, Enzo was practically never home while Rin was growing up. However, when he was, he was the most loving and caring father that a girl could wish for. Enzo truly treasured his family, but the pressure was getting to him. What if he wasn't good enough? Eventually it happened. Enzo had bought a series of original paintings. Paintings that turned out to be anything but original. The impact was immediate, as their economy went red. Despite his attempt to step up his hours at work, the man found no way to recover. This downward spiral continued. Expenses rising, incoming falling. The arguing in the home was escalating on a daily basis. Screaming, shouting, swearing. Enzo and Trisha were no longer communicating properly. The love that once was seemed to have dissipated. It ended as one might could expect. Trisha and Enzo were walking in opposite directions. It left Rin and Haruki stranded, confused. Rin was only five at the time. The two adults only managed to settle the custody in one way. One sibling went with each parent. So Rinkusu went with her father. The two of them moved into the shop itself. Things were going to be perfect, that is what he promised his little girl. In the backrooms, they didn't really have much space. Sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor, huddled up, times were tough but they'd get through it together. Rin did whatever she could to help her father. There were so many things that the girl didn't understand. Daddy needed help, so she did her best to help! At first, Enzo was encouraging, letting the girl carry boxes, look at the pieces of art, hang out in the store when there were customers... ...but that was not to last. Being just a young girl, of course she made mistakes. Mistakes that Enzo couldn't afford. If a painting was destroyed by her clumsiness, that could mean a whole week of barely eating. That is where it began. Rin slowly being relegated to staying in the corners. More often being told not to touch anything. More often being told to go to her room while customers were in the shop. The bottom line varied each month. Sometimes the numbers were red, sometimes they were black. They were living on a knife's edge all over again... Enzo had begun locking Rin inside her room when there was business in the store, and she had come home from school. Occasioanlly, he'd forget, leaving her locked in her room for an entire day, only remembering for dinnertime. Rin wasn't a personality to complain or cause a fuss. Going to school quietly, returning home, being locked in her room. It slowly became a routine. The only thing the girl had to spend her time with, was reading books. So naturally, she began studying her schoolbooks in depth. Focussing so much time and dedication into reading, studying became a natural thing. A thing that she enjoyed. ...Things weren't getting better. Enzo's work hours got longer and longer, his income less and less. Unable to accept responsibility for his failings, unable to blame himself for his failures, this weakness was projected onto his daughter. It was her fault. Shouting at her, namecalling, sending her to bed without having had anything to eat. Disallowing her from showering, warm water was expensive. Even so, Rin never complained. Figuring that it was her fault, accepting the blame, she simply promised him to do better, a soft smile on her lips. Following her dreams of helping others, Rin had applied to a new education; To become a heroine. Being that she had a quirk, even if rather unwieldy, the acceptance process wasn't an overly difficult one. With grades all at the top of her classes, she had been happy for the first time in a while. Genuinely happy! Rushing into the store, looking for her father, she was beyond excited to tell him the good news! However, as Rin swung the door open, Enzo had been moving a painting to the storage. Knocking him in the back with the door, the painting was dropped; The frame shattered and the parch ruined. It rung through the room, as her head twisted to the side. Eyes wide open, her cheek was burning red. The slap had sounded like a thunderclap through the room. Nothing had been held back, as Rin fell over. "Look at what you've done! You're such a useless daughter! Go to your room!!!" From there, the dislike Enzo showed his daughter had only gotten worse. Neglecting her in her room. Disciplining her with force. When there were customers, when she was at school, she was still smiling, doing her best. That is what her father taught her. Smile, pretend, show no one any weakness. Let no one in. Weakness is punished in this world. ....Causing her father more trouble, was the last thing she wanted to do. One day, she would make him proud... |
