Being at a loss for words or anything, G didnt know how to react to some actual positive feedback. It was so strange. It was nice, but strange. He was happy, but scared. And thus as soon as the bee woman spoke, he quickly did as she said. He placed him on the bench, thread his arms between the planks. And then he let the others do the work
The Bee Heroine asked the woman if she'd press charges, to which the woman said yes. The Bee Heroine then said that there were plenty of witnesses, which just made G's mouth dry because of how scared he was. He felt like an exposed ant as soon as the people spoke about the Hero, Pro Hero and then asking... if he was a Pro Hero "Thank God, they dont recognize me" he thought He didnt appreciate the camera flashes, which meant plenty of bad things for him
As soon as she adressed G, he took it as their cue to leave, when she raised her arm to him. He didnt quite understand what he met so he just grabbed it confused "Come on! Lets go!!! Talk somewhere else, ok??" he said a bit scared and panicked

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil Genzu's expression gave Hachi a bit of a start. He hadn't been comfortable with the crowd to begin with, but now he looked scared of it. There was more than just not being used to speaking to people here. There was much more. At the moment, though, it didn't matter why he looked so petrified, it just mattered that he was, and since he had helped her to make this catch...it was the least she could do to help him, too.
Hachi's wings began to beat at a quicker pace, the buzzing noise their vibrations created growing loud enough to drown out the crowd for only a few seconds.
And then they were moving. Very, very quickly.
With her claws holding onto Genzu's wrist in return for him holding tight to hers she burst down the alleyway with the same speed she had managed before, only only a foot or so off the ground rather than flying overhead. G's feet were unlikely to keep up. But, lucky for him, he wouldn't have to for long as she pulled him in wrap her arms around his waist. Now with a much better grasp on him she went up just a little higher into the air. By the time they cleared the alleyway, they were up in the poorly-lit sky of the back street, the crowd's noises a distant hum. Hachi was breathing harder again, but she smiling easier down at Genzu, whom she was still holding tight, arms tight around him, lest he drop to the ground a good ten feet below.
"I should have asked if you are afraid of heights..." she chuckled, and slowly began to descend. "I apologize for the sudden departure, but you looked like you needed to get out of there. Quickly. Are you alright, Genzu?"

He should have saw this coming, but didnt. The bee woman raised him up using her wings to fly away elsewhere. She held his wrist, while G held hers tightly. And then before he knew it, she pulled him in and wrapped her arms around his waist "I'm not sure if I should like this or not" he thought The bee woman asked if he was afraid of heights, but G answered "Well... at this point I dont even know"
True, one time while working with Sunawk, he had to go to the roof of a building and climb down with Goliath. They nearly slipped and fell. Fear of height was natural, but not on the level to be considered as Acrophobia.
And then she asked him if he was alright, G gave her the same answer "At this point, I dont even know"
He felt so messed up, yesterday was awful, the day before that was awful. This last week or two perhaps were the worse. Maybe not THE worst, but compared to this goody two shoes version of himself, it was "I've really gotten soft" he thought ashamed of himself
Thinking about this misery, he thought that maybe all these connections were making him just weak. He felt better when he was single and truly alone. Having Miku to himself was nice. He didnt need anyone. Maybe he didnt need a girlfriend and a sister. But then what did he need? "How does one even make a family?" he thought

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil Something was troubling him still, but what precisely Hachi had no clue. His responses felt fake and his mind was elsewhere. Did it have to do with the crowd? Or had she done something that really bothered him. Her smile weakened and until she felt her feet touch the ground she was silent, her arms loosening so Genzu could slip to the concrete carefully without simply letting him drop like dead weight. If he was in a foul mood, maybe it was best that she just let him go along.
"If you don't want to--"
Suddenly her stomach lurched upwards from her abdomen to her throat, and Hachi's eyes went wide, her clawed hands rising to cover her mouth. She turned away from Genzu, hunched over, and gagged. Nothing came out but her body was still wracked with spasms and deep, horrible pain. Her muscles screamed at her.
Oooooooooh that didn't feel good.
Hachi stayed like that, trembling arms holding her waist and legs barely keeping her standing, without moving.
".....so...this is why I...don't fly very often...sorry..."

G safely landed on the ground and the bee woman was about to say something to him when suddenly she got sick and started showing these strange symptoms, she coughed and gagged as if she was gonna throw up, but nothing came out. She looked like she was also in terrible pain as well. She trembled, her arms were holding her waist and it looked like she could barely stand. She then proceeded to explain why she didnt fly very often
The young Vigilante who doenst know what to do just walks up to her and tries to give her a pat on the shoulder "Umm..there...there?" he said, clearly not knowing what to do. This was clearly more like comforting rather then helping "I know how to hurt people not heal them" he thought G then proceeded to ask "Want me to call an ambulance?"
He then waited for the bee lady to either answer him or just get better. He would then occassionally look at the watch to see when he can re-summon Goliath again, just in case he needs him "Should I carry the bee or should he? Then again, I imagine she and Goli-... naaah" G thinks to himself

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil Hachi hacked for a minute or so longer, and once she managed to get in a deep breath without feeling like her insides were rushing out, she shook her head to Genzu's question. "I'm...I'm okay. My body just requires...a lot of energy, and I'm not at a h...hundred percent right now. I just need something to eat. And...drink, too, to get my strength back." Drawing back to a standing position slowly and carefully, she only then realized Genzu had been patting her shoulder.
"Oh...I'm sorry. Again. I didn't mean to frighten you," she spoke quietly, momentarily embarrassed. This wasn't the best first impression to be making on anyone; though it was also just bad for her body to be doing so much without any prep time. She averted her gaze to the sidewalk. "I understand if you don't want to talk now. I would still like to, and...I don't think I can be going back to Musutafu without finding a place to eat. So that would be a chance for us to speak. But this is...really not...my best foot forward. I'm sorry."
I'm so out of practice. Solenn would never have...
Her stomach lurched again, weaker this time, but still enough that her eyes squeezed shut and she placed a hand over her abdomen. "......at least I didn't have anything alcoholic to drink tonight, or this would be worse. Ahah...hah. Sorry. Again. That was a joke."
Smooth.

She was too weak and out of shape to go anywhere and clearly she needed food. G sighed and just picked her up and carried her bridal style and decided to carry her home "Ok ok, I'll take you to my place so you can eat and drink. Just dont expect me to be master chef. But in the meanwhile, you said you wanted to talk right? So talk? What did you wanna ask me. I can see you have plenty of questions?" G asked her as he walked home
The bee lady wasnt that heavy, and in a way she did provide him with a bit of distraction from the rest of his life. Actually, holding her was quite comforting like holding a child or a loved one. If he could he'd hold this bizarre and curious and yet majestic bee woman forever. But he knew this was just a temporary thing, much to his dismay
And then he suddenly stops when he realizes something "Oh snap, I forgot we're in Tokyo... my place in Tokyo isnt done with the rennovation. They'll be done in September. Tch... and my other home is all the way in Musutafu" So then he decided to go to the nearest cafe "Uuuhhhh... slight detour then" he told her as he walked and carried her "I made that mistake?! Sheesh, my mind is all over the place" he thought

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil "A-Ahh!" Hachi let out a startled noise as Genzu literally swept her off of her feet and began to carry her in some random direction, claiming he was taking her to his apartment to get her some food. While that was surely generous of him, Hachi only found herself stunned silent, an deeper orange tint to her entire face. She was not a small woman. In fact, she was above average for most men in Japan. Yet Genzu had no problem with picking her up and carting her around. It was weird. Nobody had ever done this to her before.
She wasn't sure if she liked the feeling of helplessness, but it was pretty nice to not be walking while nauseous.
Thus she kept her thoughts on the action to herself, only coughing into her claws once to clear a lump that had lodged in her throat. "...well, I...yes, I do. But I need to think of how to phrase them. Give me a few."
He took a little turn towards a cafe as she thought of her next words very carefully. She didn't want to sound like she was belittling or mad at him for being a vigilante. She wanted to ask why he was choosing to be one rather than get a hero licence. What if he couldn't, though, for some reason? What if it upset him? She didn't want that. He had just helped her catch a criminal, and was helping her recover her strength. She wanted this to go as well as possible.
...then stop staring into space and say something.
"Uhh. Why are you a vigilante, Genzu?" Hachi spoke quickly, like an invisible timer had been about to go off had she not said anything, "I mean, what are your motivations for it, not...not anything deeper than that."

After he made the decision to carry to the nearest cafe, the bee woman said that she needs to think how to phrase the questions. G didnt mind that and made his way to the cafe he wanted to visit, but never could The Black Sand Inn & Cafe. This was the perfect time to finally visit it. He was in Tokyo and he was very close to it now
For a bit he just walked and carrier her in silence, until she finally spoke up and asked why was he a Vigilante. "So the world could see me as a good guy and so my kid could be proud of me" he answered her short and simple And then finally they arrived at the entrance of the cafe "Can you walk now? I dont wanna make an entrance like this" G told the bee woman as he thought they'd get many awkward stares at a man carrying a giant bee woman "My hands are full and I cant open the door, and Im not kicking any doors down with a woman in my arms if she isnt pregante" G thought
And with that he hoped that the bee lady at least recovered a little bit to walk in the cafe

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil Hachi had even more questions thanks to the brief answer Genzu gave her. So he could be seen as a good guy? Then why not go the extra mile and become a hero? From her past experiences, vigilantes were hit and miss when it came to their reputation. It certainly hadn't created a stir among the people the way her saying she was a hero had earlier. Before she could vocalize these thoughts, though, they had come to a cafe. It was a quaint, rustic looking place with the logo printed on a tinted window, and a wooden door. It might have looked a little old fashioned to some, but Hachi actually liked the look. Black Sand Inn and Cafe.
"I've never heard of this place," she mused as she slipped out of G's arms, only taking a wobbly first step before she managed to collect herself. She wanted to remind Genzu that she hadn't said she couldn't walk in the first place but decided against it. Instead she approached the door and waited for him to go inside.
The inside of the cafe matched the impression the exterior gave: wooden tables and chairs and floors, all carved in a beautiful but homey way, making the space feel like a tavern rather than a cafe. Soft tan carpets matched the cushions on the chairs, and neat sketches of tea plants, animals, and other bits and bobs lined the walls. There was a wooden bar at the back of the shop where stools were set up for customers to order from, and glass shelves flanked it on either side, filled with sweets the Hachi found herself staring at from the door.
Behind the bar stood a woman with bleached white hair--though the tips were dyed a sunny shade of orange--and striking gold eyes, who was setting tea cups on a tray for another woman with long, curly pink hair to take away. They were both wearing aprons with the cafe's logo printed on the front pocket, though the woman with pink hair seemed to have put extra lace and frills on her apron compared to the bar-keep.
As she walked by the frilly pink-haired woman spotted Hachi and Genzu and gave them a bright grin. "Oh, hello hello! Welcome to the Black Sand Inn and Cafe! You can have a seat wherever you'd like, and I'll come take your order! Or you can take a seat at the bar!" Her voice was sugary and cheerful as her smile, and it blinded Hachi a little. She hadn't even blinked at her appearance. And...had that hair been natural? Her eyebrows and eyelashes were the same color.
Maybe she has a Quirk, too?
"Um...so, bar or table, Genzu? I'll leave it to you."

After the bee woman slipped from his grasp and stood on her two feet or... whatever. The bee woman said how she never heard of this place and G said to that "I heard of it. I just never got to visit it. I like going to all the cafes in Tokyo. Its part of one of my hobbies"
The two entered the cafe and it was just like how G imagined it to be. Old timey like. And then the two were greated by a beautiful frilly pink-haired woman who had a beautiful smile. She welcomed them to the cafe and asked if they should sit at the table or bar. G hoped the bee woman would choose, but it seemed that she let G choose himself who was a bit indecisive and distracted by the lovely pair of... smiles. Yes... lovely teeth and nothing else that could be beneath "I...umm...." he started "Eenie meanie miney... yolo" he thought and chose the table "Table...yes.." he turned to the bee woman and finally decided on a nickname for her "Yellow, would you mind if we took a table?" he asked the bee heroine, still wanting some confirmation that she was fine with that choice

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil It was an unusual hobby not quite fitting a man that looked like Genzu, but then again, Hachi had never cared for judging people based on their appearances. All she wound up thinking was his hobby, while unusual, was charming. "Do you have any you're fond of, then?"
Hachi nodded at his choice of taking up a table, and the two would go into the cafe proper to find a fair selection of them up for grabs. The majority of them were taken, however--surprising for this hour. Maybe they offered a special at nighttime that she wasn't aware of? What was even more curious, though, than the timing of this "rush" was the clientele themselves. A majority of them had the traces of Quirks on them. Scales along necks, slitted eyes and tongues, claws, brightly colored hair that was too good to be a dye-job...Hachi blinked. It hadn't just been the waitress, then. This place, for whatever reason, attracted those with Quirks to it.
What about it, though?
She found a little table for two near the tinted window that dyed the outside world in a sepia filter, and took a seat on the cushy chair. Her abdomen was difficult to sit with when the chair had a back but it wasn't impossible. It just took a little maneuvering. Once she was comfortable she gave G a little smile. "There we go. This is a nice place. Good choice. Though...is it just me, or is there an odd number of Quirkers here? Is there...some sort of special thing going on? Even the--"
"Hi there!" On cue, the woman from earlier appeared and Hachi's lips snapped shut. She had just been about to mention her and her unusually pink hair. That might not have gone well. All the same, the waitress beamed and set a pair of laminated menus in front of them. Her nails were painted with little animals on them. Was one of them an elephant? Huh. "Welcome to our cafe! My name is Misuzu-chan, and I'll be taking care of you this evening! May I start you two off with a yummy drink?"
She certainly was bubbly. Enough that Hachi was, again, stunned by it. Where did young people get this sort of energy?...was she even that young? Her smiles and clothing and hair made it hard to tell. Instead of staring and trying to guess Hachi picked up the menu and began going over the different drinks. Lots of teas, hot and cold ones, a few different kinds of coffee, and...
"Oh! Um. I'll have a Yuzu & Honey." She returned a smaller, shyer smile to Misuzu, who was still grinning at a full 100 watts. "In the bottle, if you have it. Please."
"Certainly! And for you, sir?" Misuzu turned her smile onto G, and Hachi noticed that her eyes were neon red.
Yeah. Definitely not Quirk-less.

She wanted to ask G if he was fond about any of em. Truthfully, G visited cafes to review hot cocoa, which was more of a winter drink rather then a summer one. "I...erm... have a blog, if you wanna see reviews" he awkwardly told Yellow
Later after choosing the table, the two finally sat. G began listening to Yellow, he didnt understand what was she talking about and the fact that she was interrupted by the lovely and attractive woman he was gonna learn was named Misuzu. Didnt help. "Yes... yummy drink" he thought to himself and focused on the poor attractive womans eyes, so he wouldnt stare at her chest assets.
Yellow was the first to order. Choosing some Yuzu and Honey.... G had no idea what Yuzu was nor he wanted to risk taking that order. He then made his own order as simple as possible, he chose a soft drink "D-do you have some cola?" He asked becasue he hadnt looked at the menu yet, but cola was always his go-to harmless drink. He sometimes drank it as a kid. Other times he'd order it for Miku. Sure, it was unhealthy. But it was a tasty drink

I Am On The Side of Angels Yet I Hold Sympathy For the Devil "A blog? That sounds interesting. Maybe we can exchange emails, and you can send me a link to it?"
Misuzu nodded and leaned into Genzu just a little so she could point at the drinks section of the menu. Doing so put her in a rather precarious pose. Hachi's eye quirked in a way that may have suggested she was raising a brow, had she eyebrows. Was that flirtatious behavior on purpose or was she dense to it? Either way, it probably got her good reviews. Misuzu ran her finger along a few options. "We do! Which flavor would you like? We have strawberry, cucumber, red bean, melon, and HYPER-caffeinated! That one's my favorite."
Hachi snorted into her claws. What an unusual menu. Maybe that strangeness is what attracted Quirkers here. It was a long shot, but there still wasn't any other visible connection she could make out. As she looked around the cafe again she noticed a tall, gangly man with dark hair handing a steaming plate of some sort of cookies to the bartender. Her wings vibrated. Even from here it smelled absolutely delicious.
Well. Maybe they were all just here for the sweets.

"Sure, I dont mind. You seem nice. I'd love to keep contact with you" G said, liking the humanoid bee and wanting to see her more ... his inner bug nerd liked Yellow and wanted to keep in touch
Then suddenly the lovely waitress leaned and put herself into a lovely position. While she was talking, G just traced her ... movements and talked "Mhmm...ok....yea...hmm...yes" as if he is following what is she saying. And as soon as she said what was her favorite G simply "Yes that!! That favorite one of yours!!"
After managing to somehow get his eyes of the lovely waitressess assets. He looked at Yellow, put his hand on her shoulder and asked her "Are you ok? Is anything the matter?"
He didnt understand what was she seeing or feeling, mostly because he was distracted with his business. G then noticed her wings flutter "So she's ok?" he thought and let her go
He then simply shrugged off and looked at the waitress and smiled. He thought he made the order, so she was free to go. G thought if he should try and start a conversation with Yellow. But then remembered he already did that. So maybe its her turn to talk. Or maybe ask him stuff she wanted to ask.
