There was something so intrinsically frightening about this whole thing. Kaito had been doing his best since he'd been enrolled at UA to deal with social phobias, but this was still a new experience for him. A job interview, while probably something that made most teens feel anxious, made a pit form in Kaito's stomach. One at a cafe, where he'd have no choice but to deal with people, was something that filled him with dread. Kaito had to constantly tell himself that this was to help him learn to come out of his shell and to earn some spending money, both things he could certainly do with.
Kaito held onto the phone in his hands tight as he made his way through the alleyways of Tokyo, so as to keep himself from fidgeting. He had a habit of fiddling with things when he was nervous, most notably his hair, which he had fixed somewhat to look nice. He had several colorful bobby pins affixed in his bright blue locks to keep his hair out of his eyes, revealing his large, expressive eyes to the world. Kaito had also put a hair band on top of his head (one of the stereotypical ones with the two ribbon-like extensions sticking out of the top) to further keep his hair under control. Despite his insecurity with his body, he for once felt somewhat presentable, which helped alleviate some of the tension in him.
The young man followed the address that he'd looked up for the cafe, one Honey Honey Cafe, as he made some attempt to steel himself for the interview ahead. "Keep calm, keep calm, keep calm... It's just talking to one person! I can handle that for sure! Positive thoughts, positive thoughts!"
It didn't take him as long as he thought to find the decent-sized building, being able to identify it was the proper place by the sign outside reading 'Honey Honey Cafe'. It was honestly a cute name in his mind, as it evoked an image of cute bees and sweet treats. Pushing that thought out of his mind, Kaito stood in front of the door for a moment. He took about a minute to adjust and check his outfit, fighting with his anxiety as to whether or not he should ditch the interview and go curl up in his dorm room.
Since he thought his normal casual ensemble of a white sweater, green skinny jeans, and boots wouldn't be the most professional, he'd gone for a different look. He didn't have many other clothes, but his mom had given him some clothes she thought would look 'cute' on him, which he had put on for today. A white and teal sailor top, with teal shorts, a pair of long, white socks, and a pair of light blue sneakers. Kaito normally didn't dress so lightly, but he wanted to make some form of a good impression on the person giving him an interview. Kaito figured a 'cute' impression was better than a bad one.
Taking a deep breath to calm himself one final time, Kaito pushed through the front door to the cafe, doing his best to look normal.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Exactly how things had turned out the way they had remained an incredibly mystery to the raven haired female. All it had took, was a few weeks where she had proved herself reliable, while the former maid-in-charge had refused to show up, something about rainy days ruining her hair and making the maid outfit see through, to cause significant roster changes within the small café, Honey Honey. Rin slightly suspected that it was because she remained relatively cheap workforce. Compared to some of the other maids, she wasn't earning half as much. That despite having significantly more responsibility. Rin could however, not complain all too openly about it. This was a job that the girl absolutely needed. Without money, everything else would slowly begin falling apart, so she continued soldiering on to the best of her ability. Today, the girl had a very peculiar task thrust upon herself by the upper management. Since the old maid-in-chief had resigned from her position, refusing to accept a cut in pay with the loss of responsibility, they needed a couple of new maids for the cafe. As Rin would be having the responsibility, she was also the one having to meet and greet the new candidates. If everything seemed to check out, Rin could forward them to the owners, so that they could be hired.
Thus far, the applicants hadn't been looking too promising. There were some very basic constraints that had to be upheld. The maids were all within a specific size range; If you were too tall or too heavy, you wouldn't fit in. Whether it was because the café wanted a specific image, or the owners refused to refit the café uniforms, Rin couldn't quite figure out. Alas, such were the constraints. Beyond that, naturally the regular maid restrictions applied. Energetic, cute, welcoming. Just a couple of traits that Rin needed to confirm the applicants capable of. Sighing softly, Rin was currently in the back rooms, designated for Honey Honey staff only. Having prepared a small table, a couple of chairs, and a few different flavors of drinks - from coffee to cocoa to soda - Rin was prepared to accomodate the ones looking to work at the café.
Placing the papers in front of herself on the table, the first attendant was a Kaito Hoshikawa. Raising an eyebrow questioningly, Rin had never heard of any female by the name Kaito. Scratching her cheek in confusion, perhaps this was an application that had ended up in the wrong place?... Either that, or maybe Kaito was here for a completely different job than being a maid. Alternatively, this could be the first female by the name Kaito which Rin had ever encountered. Either case, she was slightly curious as to where this ordeal might lead. Tapping a pen, she began writing down a couple of notes on her post-it-notes, sticking one to the table...
As Kaito entered the café, there was a clear applicants this way! sign, leading him directly towards the back, where Rin woudl be waiting, patiently.

Kaito looked around briefly, just taking in the aesthetic of the cafe. The white and blue color scheme worked well together in his mind, along with the cute paintings of flowers and bee-related things above them. The interior was cuter than he originally had imagined, bringing a small smile to his face as he took a few more steps inward. He was met almost immediately with a sign that said 'Applicants this way!' once he decided to look forward again instead of up and around him. The sign seemed to indicate that he was supposed to go to the back of the cafe, which Kaito was somewhat calmed by. He'd much rather have his interview in a bit more of a private setting than the main room of the cafe.
Walking in the direction the sign had pointed him, Kaito's hands fiddled with the ends of his sleeves to keep himself somewhat calm. For him actually doing something was much less terrifying than getting up the courage to do something, so he was a bit calmer than when he had been standing outside of the building. Once he spotted an open door to a back room, and, assuming that was the interview room, he took one final deep breath before making his way into the room.
He was immediately met with the sight of a young, raven-haired woman sitting behind a table with a chair in front of it. The young woman looked like he had caught glimpse of her before, but it was entirely plausible that she was just someone he had passed in the street or went to UA as well. That or he was imagining things. Moving up to the table, he held out his hand towards the young woman, and, in his soft voice, said, "Good morning, ma'am. Um... my name is Kaito Hoshikawa and I'm here about an interview. I, uh, have never done one of these before, so I don't know if I should be trying to shake your hand or bow, or something along those lines. I apologize if I act or am acting a little.... awkward ahead of time."
