"Any status on the others? How are the others doing?"
"The ship is still going to crash."
"...Hmm. Anything else? Do we know who fired the railgun?"
"We don't know for sure who it is for certain, we're currently getting info on that."
"Alright then. Hmm, some static over there at the southern side. What happened there?"
"Sir, a helicopter crashed and apparently a kid was found there."
"....Hmm." ----
The crane has lasted for 10 years in service. It's main utility is to load and unload containers from incoming cargo ships or any freight carrier that came along the Shinagawa terminal pier. During its time, it has broken down 3 times. The first time was due to poor weight management in the carrying load, and the operator was fired and fine a harsh punishment. The second one was due to extreme weather conditions. The third was a freaking rail gun shooting at it, causing the arm to fall nearby the large party of dock workers, auction goers, the two pros, and a cannibalistic art appreciator.
Who fired it? No one knows yet. All people know is that its about to ruin someone's day.
There were two groups of people that the pros rescued: one that stayed there and gawk, the others who were panicking and trying to move out of the way, either running for dear life or what have you. Maybe if they moved out of the falling shadow they would succeed? Maybe if they stayed very still, it would make the massive weight falling on them hurt less? This night has already went to shit, so a crane crashing down and horribly maiming or killing them seems like the least of their worries.
Centurion managed to save 4. Grace with her push of power managed to save 3 of them. The others either got out of the way in time, or…
Well the number doesn't really matter, right? Some of them were auction goers who were causing chaos...although there could have been some officers in the mix as well...hmm. Well, this train of thought wouldn't bother John that much. It did bother the small squad whose fellow teammate was stabbed in the back, however. John meanwhile decided to grab anyone that either survived the whole experience or anyone just walking in as a distraction to blend in. But it wasn't that hard to spot him among the crowd. The heroes still have a chance at catching this man, even if they're exhausted beyond belief. They have one chance at catching this...weird young looking man.
Meanwhile, the cops did as their 'infomat' told them. That odd looking smile of his meant that hes planning something, but they did confirm that someone was chasing after that woman. The main leader continues to keep close supervision to him as the duo leads the way. They don't want to talk to Virtue about losing this guy after saying they'll bring him back. Christ, that weird beak on its mask feels like it can poke out an eye. As they approach the duo, Sonya and Maekawa seem to be having better luck, with the door unlocked. How interesting, the scorpion man thinks to himself as he places his hands in his pockets, walking normally to Sonya. She seems to have told him something, to look away. He just closes his eyes as she does something, some light managing to go through his closed eyelids. As he opens it once its done, he sees a car coming up. She's entering in, signaling for him to join. As he approaches it, Wang's gang finally arrived. He notes the officers and the chubby jolly old man and his companion flying around with no care in the world. He smirks at him as the officers shoot at Maekawa, with him using his stinger to block off the bullets. They have poor aim, plus they might hurt the lady. He's clearly kidnapping her, right? Doubt the car will leave though, there's more people around. He stands outside with his stinger out. The officers begin to fire at the car. As 2 officers fired at the car, the main man looking at Wang Ba started to think. Isn't that guy a wanted criminal? Why is he standing there? As he starts to rush, his radio turns on, with the odd voice speaking again.
"We have confirmed he isn't to us. No need to give him special treatment anymore. Treat him as any other and force him to aid you."
He stares at Wang as the voice continues to speak more. As he wraps up, he stops Wang in his tracks. "That right there is a wanted criminal. If you really are what you say, then you will stop that car. Otherwise you will be...incarnated under assumption of collaboration."
The night went on, about to reach its climax.
Tony, Grace and John: Fight fight fight or run run run round 2: this time catch that fucker John. (also, cause you two didn't specify what you saved per say...whoops.) Wang Ba and Sonya: Oh dear heavens to betsy, that vile villain entered the car with Sonya! Wang's gang, save them or else you're arrested! (or stop the police/sneak out if you realize that she has it handled.)

Tony did not want to think about what would have happened had Centaurion been too slow. The beast had done its best to chase away as many people from the falling crane as it could before it was simply too tired to stick around. And the heroine was there as well, saving as many people as she could manage. He did not want to think of the possibility of even a single person losing their life due to the crane falling. But he had done all he could to save as many people as possible from getting crushed to death. It was not like he could have done anything different. If anything, perhaps things would have been far worse?
In any case, Tony did not have the time to even think about such things. It appeared that before his arrival, Grace had been fighting a villain, one who had attacked an officer and was now making a run for it. Tony could not tell if Grace had plenty of energy to spare, or if she was reaching her limits. But regardless, he was determined to assist with the matter. "Of course!" And with that, and one quick glance at the fleeing villain, Tony was now joining the chase.
Of all the times for me to not be able to call out Centaurion. Tony sighed as he ran. The beast's incredible speed sure would have come in handy right now. Alas, the poor beast was too exhausted and needed to rest for a bit before being summoned was possible. If only Tony was as fast as Centaurion! Then this chase could be over quickly!
Despite that, Tony was not about to give up. Even if his running speed was average, Tony at least had the benefit of enhanced stamina. Assuming that the fleeing villain was trying to get away because he was too tired to continue fighting (though it was possible that he was just prioritizing escaping over fighting right now), then Tony would be able to outlast the criminal and possibly catch up once the guy got tired of running away.
But even if Tony did catch up, that did not mean that it would be easy to take the guy down. He did not know what that guy could do. Hopefully Grace could fill him in on that as the two heroes pursued John. No, the chase was only the beginning. Once they caught up to him (assuming that they could), it would be the start of a new fight.
"STOP AT ONCE, CRIMINAL!" Tony was running as fast as physically possible. He could still see John. Tony doubted that the man would comply. Villains rarely ever did so. Still, Tony was not about to slow down. He continued running as quickly as he could, hoping to be able to catch up to the villain.
If he was able to get close enough, Tony would attempt to tackle the man, and then pin him to the ground, trying to subdue him. Of course, if John proved to be too slippery and make the chase difficult to finish, then Tony would continue to run after him. Yes, he was gradually getting tired. But he still had plenty of stamina left. He would not collapse any time soon.
But would his partner fare as well? Before the take down (if it happened) or while still running after John (if not), Tony would turn to Grace and ask. "How are you doing? You still good to keep on going?" If the heroine needed to rest, he could understand, and he would not mind continuing the pursuit solo. But if she was able to continue chasing after John, then Tony appreciated all the help he could get.
tl;dr
- Oof, guess he couldn't save em all? Tony is too busy dealing with the current situation to think about that, saving that possibility for later.
- He runs after John on foot, barely being able to keep track of the guy
- Sucks to not have Centaurion's speed, but at least his stamina is good enough to sustain him throughout the chase if John proves to be too persistent
- Cautious, as he doesn't know what John could do. Unless Grace fills him in during the chase.
- STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM! NOBODY BREAKS THE LAW ON MY WATCH! Tony doubts that John will listen, tho
- If Tony catches up to John: Attempts to tackle John to the ground
- If not: Continues to run after him
- Before either situation, asks Grace how she's doing

Are You... Holding Out For a Hero~?
❝ Maybe this was a bad idea? The lashes of the lass fluttering a little as she let herself drift back to the ground and found her head spinning around just a little bit, though Grace had tried to force herself over the limit through a combination of determination and sheer momentum the girl could feel that ‘wall’ starting to hit her hard now, and had to shake her head to try and fight off some of the mounting side effects of her quirk weakness. The stomach of the blonde beauty somehow feeling tight and hard but also somewhat weak, an escalating feeling of unease within her made the young hero realize her limits as her wooziness and nausea began to skyrocket from how hard she was pushing herself, and she couldn’t help but curse these side effects as she was forced to duck behind the cover of a stray container as something forced itself free from her. “Blurrrrrffff!” A groaning retch seeming to accompany her motion as she disengaged her quirk out of necessity and found herself spewing up some of the contents of her stomach, though Miss Gilbert had anticipated this kind of result well enough in the mission brief to make sure that she didn’t have all that much inside her at a moment like this that didn’t make the act particularly pleasant, or in the aftermath any less embarrassing. However, these facts weren’t something that the girl could focus on all that much for the moment. “Y-Yeah, don’t worry!” Wiping her mouth with the back of her hand as she heard her professional partner call out to her, though Grace felt a little woozy still and her stomach was still largely unsettled the girl did not let the experience do her in, at least not for the moment. Feeling that her sense of pride was worth little next to the feelings of the officer that this villain had attacked earlier on, even though she was starting to feel rather unwell by this point the Violet Vortex refused to let these annoying side effects get the better of her, and as she sighted their target she shrugged her symptoms off as best she could and hoped that the few seconds she had spared her quirk while spewing would be enough to afford her the chance to bring this brat down. “I’ll him off!” Still plenty fast enough when she engaged her quirk again, even though Miss Gilbert was running low on every gauge that she could think of the sheer potential of her ability allowed her to accelerate to a speed far surpassing that of most people, and even if it wasn’t quite her top speed in prime form and was rather uncomfortable to endure the girl hoped it would be enough to head off the wicked villain who had attacked that fine figure of law enforcement earlier on. “Unnnnggg!” Shooting across the ground even as her stomach churned and taking advantage of her pace to pull off a kind of arcing path, even though the turning motion of her hovering flight make her lurch internally slightly our heated heroine fought off the urge to heave again and did what she could to try and trap their target in a kind of pincer manoeuvre. “S-Stop right there!” By no means at the peak of her performance by the time that she reached the spot that she aimed for with the hope that she might beat this butcher brat to the punch, with her head still spinning and innards feeling like they were being whirled around and around like clothes in a washing machine it had to be said that Grace was not in her best shape when she faced down the enemy from before, but she didn’t want to let that stop her. Just back down, we've got you, boy... Hoping that the impressive deeds that she had performed thus far and her simple presence might act as a deterrent or at least a distraction, while the flighty femme might have been able to levy maybe one or two blows after this she was running on empty, and as likely to throw up on a potential opponent as she was to throw down on them…
TLDR - Grace’s quirk side effects start to get the better of her and she vomits.
- Tries to keep herself going but is really starting to suffer from using her quirk for so long consecutively.
- Arcs around in a hover-fly type thang to try and cut John off if he tries to dash away from Antonio.
- Is very woozy at this point, so much of her deed is bravado.

Wang Ba didn't need to hear what was said to know what had just come over the radio. The change in attitude was blatant enough. Honestly, he was surprised it had taken them this long- Surely they were keeping close tabs on all of their precious informants, were they not? Whether it was to prevent them from triple-crossing, or to fulfill any sort of protection agreement. However, far from acting like a man whose cover has been blown, Wang Ba merely gave a slight smile. "Collaboration with whom, exactly? Surely not the man who would escape without a trace, had I not brought you straight to him. Or rather, even if I do stop him, what guarantee do I have that you will not simply arrest me anyways?" It was pure sophistry, but Wang Ba was nothing if not an articulate speaker.
Certainly, it would not be a trouble to stop the car. Just drop a shield in front of it and watch it crash- Or perhaps underneath it, creating a rather obnoxious speed bump. But why would he do that? He had no grudge against the Chernova Miss, nor a penchant for alienating his business partners. That is to say- Besides which, must I really say it? Or have your eyes been blinded by the miss's light?" A hand rose, pointing at the vehicle the others had entered. A car which should not have been there. "Let me get it through your skull. The moment we passed through that doorway... I no longer had a need for you. I am no longer the one asking for your assistance- Or are you confident in rejoining the main task force without my aid?" That is to say, without Wang Ba's shields, could the man honestly say he would not have died before?
For those who mistake his meaning- The mere fact that Sonya could call a car to this location, meant that there was a hole in the blockade. For a man of Wang Ba's means, could he not call for a vehicle of his own? He no longer needed a police escort to slip through the wall of bodies which surrounded the pier. And with such a small group, compared to the large group of trapped and desperate criminals... Did they really have faith in their guns, without a shield to back it up? Wang Ba's cordial tone dropped completely, filling with a domineering intent. "Do not mistake my kindness for good will. I cooperated with you because you had use to me- Now that you no longer do, why must I follow your orders? I no longer need you, but you, still need me." But he was not finished, and his voice fell low once more- The deep, seductive tone of a devil interested in a soul. "Thus, let us not ruin our cooperation over such minor details. Is it truly a shame to let escape a man, far beyond your capability to arrest? To push further would only result in your demise." He was speaking the truth. Even with the barriers of Wang Ba, the combination of Maekawa and Lady Chernova was far beyond these pitiful men's capabilities- The wounds left on the dead bodies littered about was more than proof of that. And the truth lent weight to his words.
"Is it truly so wrong to accept your limits? To arrest those you can. and leave the true monsters to the monster catchers? There is no shortage of criminal scum about, after all- Mindless peons with no thoughts beyond their own self satisfaction. Besides, if it is credit you seek- Look no further? You have single handedly discovered a hole in your perfect barricade, without you, who knows how many criminals would escape from justice?" The carrot and the stick. The stick was the thought of death- If they did force Wang ba to stop the car, did they really believe they would survive? Or were they to return without his assistance... or worse, him actively working against them, how far would they get? But threats were only such, and so a reward was needed. The massive credit of discovering this gap in the wall should be enough to match any high profile arrests.
Of course, this assumed that the policemen were men of reason- Were they to be relentless fanatics... Why, that was the reason that even as he spoke, Wang Ba was toying around with one of his many rings, ready to activate it on a moment's notice. And that aside, the reason why his adorable little Que'er could no longer be seen flying overhead.
TL;DR
Talk no Jutsu, I choose you!

Sonya did not wait for further discussion, the moment Maekawa got in the car she kicked her foot against the back of the seat in front of her and her driver slammed on the gas. She glanced over her shoulder through the window. Wang Ba was still there-he wouldn't even fit in the car even if she wanted him there. She rolled her jaw. Her eyes turned to her new compatriot, he had been more than helpful during their escape and had more than proven himself. She crossed her arms and leaned back against the seat while the car sped into the backstreets that lead toward the holes in the blockade.
They still had a bit of a ways to go and there were still opportunities for them to get pinned down by an overzealous hero, but at the very least they were putting some distance between them and the majority of the chaos. Especially that collapsing crane, that was the last thing she wanted to deal with.
She turned directly to Maekawa; "I never got your name," She said, crossing her legs and taking a few calming breaths. "You did very well out there," She added, giving him a wry smile.
She needed people like him in her organization to deal with problems should they arise, it was becoming self-evident that in order to grow rapidly she would have to employ people on both sides of the law. Keeping a positive public image was one small portion of the whole ensemble that would lead to her ultimate goal. She steepled her fingers and stared out the window. Things had kept moving from bad, to worse, to incredibly awful. His body had it's natural healing boosted thankfully thanks to the boy that spilled out like a strawberry milkshake with his guts and donated the DNA for this venture. As he fled he managed to with some strange force of this odd power force a few of the bullets from his body. Falling from the burned fleshy tunnels they'd bore into his body. A few of them that had went fully through had healed somewhat. None of them fully closed but enough to keep his body somewhat mobile. The worst parts of it somewhat hindered by the effect he took of trying to manage parts of his body turning the nerves for pain off in various spots. It wasn't easy to control given this power being foreign to him. But it was better then nothing to give him a mild edge of strength back in his body. The stained crimson along his body however still dried making even the wounds that nearly closed look awful hidden behind the blood that painted his pale skin.
The loud exclamation to stop hadn't really garnered much attention. John still hidden in this smaller boy's body assumed it simply was more cops that had caught up with again. The new outer coat draped over his upper half unable to hide the blood hsi body left behind dripping about here and there. Shoving the art within the coat lightly crumpled and folded into a inner pocket.
Eventually caught off guard given these people were much faster then police as he felt a strong force collide somewhat into his back. Causing him to fall forward with someone clinging on. But he wouldn't be subdued so easily even if he was brought to his knees. The proximity he hoped would give him a opening if he moved quick enough. Turning lightly while briefly shoved face down. Using his arm nearest the man in the turn to try and shove the man lightly away. While he'd tried to turn under the man and thrust the blade still held in his other arm coming around towards the man's chest. Intending to try and skewer the fellow that had taken to tackling him. All the while struggling under him to do such a maneuver.
If he wasn't fully subdued and managed to wiggle around enough in his move he'd continue to slash and stab with his combat knife trying to cut into Tony to either wound him or get the man to flee away. "Get off big man!, Didn't your mama ever tell you not to get handsy so fast!" He'd say in the youthful voice of Niso. Hoping to land a few slashes true. Once his body could heal a little... The blood would truly come in use if he could stain his blade with it. The man continuing to scowl as the woman arrived soon after as well. The sense of escape both becoming less likely but with a new plan quickly popping into his head.
Should Tony have chosen to let go and flee a bit to avoid the blade John would have tried to quickly scramble to his feet. The bloody mess of a young boy shirtless with a coat draped over his shoulders standing lightly weary. The way the woman was moving though and had nearly cut him off twice now... Perhaps her blood could be more beneficial he though to himself. ---- -Attempts to force Niso's power to help his healing as much as it can -Tackled by Tony but doesn't give in that easily. -Attempts to twist towards the man using a hand to push him off and his armed hand to stab and slash with his blade. -His thinking of escape giving to new plans with Grace's arrival. -Early stashed the painting lightly crumpling and folding it before stashing it into this coats pocket.

"Is he still talking? Is he refusing to do so?" "...A bit, yes" The man's response was in a lower tone. "Very well. There is something nearby to aid you." "Huh?" ---- The man assigned to keep a close eye out on the jolly fat man' activities throughout this somewhat active night was at his wit's ends. He was told to make sure that he can prove his worth or else he'll be jailed immediately, with this act being considered a mark against him. Sure, this guy has a good point at times, but it's starting to get on their nerves: the endless run around, asking for items and then trying to weasel out of doing something outright for them. It's starting to feel like he's losing grasp on his so called 'infomat' role. Most infomats selected can at the very least aid, but all this guy did was talk and talk and talk. His winged companion did more, but she follows his word, so at the moment...nothing. [Acting check 90/100, failure]. A bit confused over the radio's statement as well. This is a weird night. "...Sir, there are people here witnessing you, you really do-don't think you won't come out of this with yo-your reputation unblemished, right? You let people die like that, it's a bit…*Sigh* Whatever...Alright. Listen. We have reason to believe you are working with the group of people who organized this little event, and either way you're going to the station. Aiding us will at the very least make you look more favorable and be able to leave after interrogation. So then. What are you going to do?" He's slightly sweating. He's got a point: the moment he dropped that shield, more injuries are going to happen. He's also right in that the hole in defense isn't exactly a good thing. More people to slip by, more criminals and potential witnesses. Damn it. The car continues to drive towards the gap. Previously, the car was able to obtain clear access through this: a nice small gap near a crane and cargo that a car can pass through. Wide and big enough for not immediate notice. Once the chaos set it, there'll be more people rushing through this, but hey, they have a car. Maekawa just slightly leans out of the window and stares ahead. His face turns into an interested smile, while Sonya continued to talk and also stared at the window. "...You mean that hurdle?" The driver finally noticed it as well: in front of the previously thought to be exit point lies a...certain thing? Is it a thing? It looks like a big purple dog-like thing with glowing dots for eyes at this distance. The car driver stops at a rapid halt as the car stalls in front of the being. It's purple, it's slightly shaking...it's, uh...slightly growing. Seems like a good time to do a U-Turn, haha. And so it did. "They should be coming back soon. Make sure to arrest the man with the stinger." The officer after getting this quick notice seemed a bit confused, but then realized the connotations as the car drove by trying to find a new exit. "...As for the gap, I think we have that covered." Meanwhile, John is in a pickle. Two heroes chasing after him, one tackling him, him slashing him to get him off of him, and being blocked by Grace. He's surrounded: In front of him was Grace, tired yet able to beat him when helped out by Tony. Tony and his summon behind him: a dangerous duo. Is this the end of our favorite Doe? And then a crane falls down in the middle of them. When the dust settled, the crane has managed to divide the group: Tony on one side, and John and Grace on the other. Well. Alright then. How did that happen? Perhaps the rain cannon also struck a nearby crane and only now it started to fall down? Interesting. Nevertheless, never look away at a gift horse in the mouth. If the art gods decided that John taking this valuable piece of art, no matter how slightly damaged it is, is a good endeavor, then it will aid in making sure he has a fighting chance. Some workers were nearby as well, perhaps they got caught up in this mess and the heroes will aid them. It's a possibility. This is a weird night. Wonder how the other officers are doing. ---- Tony, Grace and John: Fight fight fight or run run run round 3: Crane falling time. Either help the workers or stop John. Wang Ba and Sonya: Big NPC blocking your path, find a way to talk your way/drive your way out of this one, guys. 2 rounds left

Tony looked at Grace with concern. Was she really alright? She did just vomit, after all. Still, the heroine knew her capabilities and limits better than anyone else, so if she says to not worry, then Tony would trust her. He simply nodded. "Alright then." It was good to hear that she would attempt to cut off the villain's escape. Good, that would help make it easier to take him down.
Speaking of taking the villain down, it was fortunate that Tony was able to catch up to and tackle John. It was good that he was not expecting it to be that easy, however. Otherwise, he would be disappointed that the criminal was not going down so easily. He sighed as he saw the man attempt to shove him off with his arm. Of course, Tony thought to himself. None of these criminal scumbags ever choose to go down quietly.
But then Tony noticed the knife. ¡Coño! Tony quickly and just barely moved out of the way of the oncoming stab and then aimed to punch John right in the face. Of course, regardless of whether it hit or not, Tony would immediately try to move out of the way of the repeated knife slices and stabs, even if it meant that Tony would have to back away from the villain a bit to do so. It was clear that this man was skilled when it came to using the knife. If Tony had to guess, he would think that the villain's combat skills were on par with his own. Sure, he could just barely avoid and stop the knife from making contact with him, but his own punches were not really getting through either. The two were evenly matched in terms of close-range combat.
Tony scoffed upon hearing the man's words and retorted with his own. "And didn't your mother ever teach you not to attack law enforcement? Or do you WANT to get yourself thrown in prison?" Of course, Tony did not want to just keep trying to block and dodge forever. He needed to get a decisive hit in! Especially now that the criminal was trying to make a run for it! "Oh no, you don't!"
Centaurion... SMASH!
Tony suddenly heard a voice in his head. The voice of the beast! Amigo! Have you even rested enough? As much as Centaurion would really come in handy right now, there was a reason that the beast vanished and was currently resting. It was exhausted! But the beast seemed to insist on helping out. Centaurion... fine. Even if for one moment... Centaurion come out and SMASH! Well if you think you can, then gracias.
Just as John began to make a run for it, Tony was already in pursuit, his eyes turning red once more as he called out his beast. It was clear that Centaurion was still tired. But still, it aimed to throw at least one punch at John before the beast began to dissipate. "SMAAAAASH!!"
But would the punch land? Would John be able to avoid the attack in time? Ultimately, it did not matter, as that was the moment another crane began to fall. With Centaurion already shrinking back to the red ball and popping out of existence again, Tony swore in Spanish under his breath as he just barely backed away at the last second. He watched as the fallen crane served as a blockade separating him from John and Grace.
But just as he was already thinking of going after John, Tony noticed several workers. It was dangerous for them to stay here! With Grace being closer to John than Tony was at the moment, it was wiser for him to be the one to help out the workers. There wasn't any danger to them at the moment, but anything could happen. Tony called out to the heroine. "I'm going to escort those workers to safety! I'll leave that villain to you until I get back!" Tony hoped that she could hold on until he got there. He did not like the idea of leaving someone so dangerous to Grace to handle alone. But what if something happened to these workers? Tony had to ensure their safety! There was no way he could not!
So he hurried over to the workers. "Are you all okay?" After hopefully getting confirmation from them that they were indeed alright, Tony would tell them to follow him. "I'll take you to the nearest officers, who will help you evacuate the area." He hoped that this would not take too long. He wanted to hurry up and get back to helping Grace. Not that he did not trust her to hold her own. Quite the opposite in fact. But still, Tony would feel a lot better if he was fighting alongside the heroine.
Ten cuidado.
tl;dr
- Is worried about Grace, but trusts her to be able to take care of herself
- Tackle is successful, but things aren't so easy
- Barely dodges John's knife, retaliating with a punch to the face
- Either way, backs off to avoid knife
- Retaliates against John's knife attacks with punches. Both are evenly matched (both their close combat abilities are E), so this can go either way.
- Oh no, John is trying to run away! Begins to give chase.
- Centaurion is temporarily summoned to try to get a punch in on John
- Regardless of whether the punch lands or not, Centaurion vanishes from exhaustion, and the crane stops Tony from being able to quickly pursue John
- Notices the workers, tells Grace that he'll go take them to safety, and that he'll join her in fighting John when he finishes
- Goes to the workers to escort them to the nearest cops, ready to protect them in case anyone/anything endangers them

Are You... Holding Out For a Hero~?
❝ If only that had been a second sooner… Blinking for a second as she saw the second crane of the night plummet into the ground and hit the floor with a deafening crash, while it was callous and perhaps not all that ‘heroic’ of her to think it, Grace couldn’t help but wish that the piece of metal-made timber had flattened her foe as it fell to earth but unfortunately she could see that it did not have the chance. That slippery little brat seeming to avoid it by a hairs breadth and find an advantage in the fact that it seemed to cut off the path of the pro hero that followed him, it transformed this ménage au trois into a one on one affair, with the violet vixen as the only thing between her enemy and an escape that he apparently so desperately sought. “Ulp.” Swallowing not because of the intimidation she felt given the situation but rather in an attempt to hold back the nausea that she felt, even though the Violet Vortex found herself without backup in this battle all of a sudden by the strange act of god or railguns or whatever else seemed to be so very intent on toppling cranes tonight, that didn’t mean she was going to back down. This guy didn’t deserve much mercy, what with how he had tried to filet the officer earlier, and the way our lady lead saw it she was all that stood between him and his ticket to escape. “You, stop!” Shaking her head and glancing around her surrounding now that she had stopped to see that the falling crane had really limited both their mobility options, with containers and crates that were presumably being moved by it forming walls around them, a gap of only five meters or so seemed to be the only route out of here and was right behind her back. “Surrender yourself!” However, even for all the anger that she felt toward this boy and what she had done, some part of Miss Gilbert that believed in justice and a possible peaceful resolution still compelled her to call out, and because of this the blonde ended up shouting out a warning in some vain hope that things might be settled without violence. A part of her, unfortunately, doubted that. Your move, kid… This all she could do really as she readied herself for whatever might follow with her eyes and every other sense that she possessed locked onto his shape so that she could react as speedily as possible to everything, while a big part of the blonde beauty wanted to lunge through the distance that stopped her from hitting him straight away, some piece of her made of caution or perhaps a sense of sympathy that she felt toward a soul who looked so very young stayed her hand. Instead intent on letting this youngster decide how the next part went down, if he lashed out against her or made some effort to try and get around her then Grace would respond accordingly, but if he had the good sense to stand down and let himself be taken in then that would be something she would take into account too. After all, justice should be swift, but sometimes lenient as well, and as such she followed his every motion, hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst…
TLDR - Grace watches as another of those rickety ass cranes falls down, no doubt pushed over by the spirit of Shia.
- Offers John Doe the chance to surrender as she stands in the only path that is now safe given how the crane had fallen down and ‘carved up’ the area.
- Grace stands her ground, waiting to see if John surrenders.

The large man's brows furrow. The other party is on the edge of caving- Or at least, so his experience tells him. In fact, they might have already, if it weren't for that person on the other end of the line. Each time the officer's radio buzzes, his face tells the rest of the story- And this time is no exception. Confusion. Whatever he was told, he was not aware of it. But even so, it was enough to push him back on the side of the law- Hmph. Naturally, it would not be so easy. However, were the man to falter once... Well, he's already fallen once, so what's one more time? It becomes a spiral of depravity. Of course, the prerequisite for that, is to break the rules just once. And for that, it seems he'll have to cut off his comms.
Well, whatever. An eyebrow raises. "Are you threatening me?" The man glares back without giving ground. "Do you even know who I am? Is my reputation a thing a man such as you can touch?" Such a line as no two-bit villain worth their salt would die without saying- But from Wang Ba's lips, it held a double meaning. That is to say, without knowing who he is- Exactly what reputation did they mean to ruin? And naturally, they did not know who he was- Or else they wouldn't have bothered bringing up such a thing as reputation.
As to whether or not he was working with Plutocracy- Well, in the broadest terms, yes, he was. But to look at it more closely, it was anything but- He couldn't help but let out a hearty laugh at the idea. "Sorry, the idea of working with these... Imbeciles, was just so ridiculous that I could not hold back. Or rather, if I was working with them, would I really be wasting time with you? Or is Plutocracy such a small name that they cannot even protect their co-conspirators?" It was as good a place as any to start setting his seeds. They believed he was working with Plutocracy? Fine, let the rumor that Plutocracy had sold out their own allies spread from within the police itself. If he were to spread the word, it was a trick. But leaked from police internal records?
As Wang Ba said before, he holds the upper hand. The man cannot have his cake and eat it too. If he wishes to cooperate, he should at least drop that high and mighty attitude... Although, stuttering even as he makes his threats... The villain can't help but think that this guy is rather cute. Perhaps he'll offer him a job when he inevitably offends someone he can't afford to and loses his place.
However, a new appearance forces the fat man to change his plans. "Que'er." He casually says into his transponder, as though not in the midst of a dangerous hell. The birdbrain is swift to respond, as usual. "Boss! I knew you ca-" Alas, her delusions are crudely interrupted by a rather irritated voice. "In the future, when you are asked to scout ahead. Scout. All. Of the. Ahead." After all, purple slobbering dog-monsters don't just grow on trees. The only explanation for Zhu Que not bringing it up when guiding them was... That the girl had gotten distracted and only come this far. It seemed her education still had some... Gaps.
As a chill ran down the spine of the airborne girl, she reconsidered her life choices. And from her aerial vantage, it wasn't long before she caught sight of what he meant. "No! Boss, I swear! I swear that wasn't there before, you gotta believe me!" As to whether he believed her or not... Mere static responded to her desperation. Wiping away a tear, the girl suddenly glared at the beast- "You... You mutt! Because of you, the bosss... Ooooh, the bossssssss!"
Her angry front only lasted a moment before returning to a whimper at the thought of her boss's disapproval. But what was she supposed to do? It really hadn't been there before!
Meanwhile, back on the ground floor... Wang Ba was faced with another problem. The beast's appearance had caused the car carrying the lady Chernova to turn straight around- Barreling back towards them. "Oh, look, they're on their way back. Well, I'm sure you're set in your ways now, but... Are you sure you want to do this without my help?" He would ask his unfortunate escort- As though he was the only one in danger of being run over. Meanwhile, in preparation for the impact- Or perhaps just in case they decided to shoot him from behind- A scarlet gemstone hidden in his palm, began to release a bloody glow...
- Man, back in my day, a 65 was a passing grade - WB figures that the man would be a lot more receptive without comms. I wonder how that could be attained. - Well, for now, persistence is key. Talk No Jutsu, I choose you! - Zhu Que is falsely accused. Dumb dog. - Yeah I should probably stop that car now that I can see it's headlights, huh?

This was not part of the plan. This was not how things were supposed to go. Somewhere, someone had screwed up. Information had been incorrect, a watchperson hadn't been paying attention, somewhere along the way there had been an error. Sonya crossed her legs and stared at the back of her driver's head, leaning further back into the chair. If he hadn't been driving she would have killed him already. She glanced over at Maekawa. "It looks like we are going to have to find another way out. Pathetic," She said to the back of the driver's head. The man winced and shrank a bit in his seat. He'd run away without even consulting his employer. That was a big mistake.
Sonya let out a sigh; "I've had enough," She said, nodding to the third passenger. Her attendant who had lugged the suitcase to the car for her. He winced, his eyes falling a bit sadly. He began to tack something away on his phone. She tapped her wrist a few times thoughtfully as they drew closer to the spot where Wang Ba waited. She sighed and reached down between her legs to a compartment under the seat in front of her, and pulled the handle...
It took a few moments for the vehicle to return to where it had began. The car came to a stop. It rested for several seconds before one of the rear passenger doors opened. Sonya did not step out. Maekawa did not step out. Instead a woman in what appeared to be a military uniform and bearing an unsettling gas mask on her face stepped out. Light burned on her skin, crackling and popping against the humidity in the air. Her pink eyes glowed beneath the light making her look like some sort of angel or goddess. The light was... nauseating. It made one feel weak and timid just looking at her. Her voice came out modulated, cold, unfeeling...
"You will remove your insipid road block. Or the woman, her friend, and the driver will die," Ishtar said coldly. Next to her, obscured partially by her light and the tinted windows, a figure with white hair struggled in the car, tossing and turning in the passengers seat. The driver stared out at the policemen who had gathered around Wang Ba with wide, terrified eyes. Ishtar's hand touched the door of the car, it sizzled and when she removed it, a wretched black handprint was left behind.
"Ishtar demands it," Her eyes settling on Wang Ba. "Give him to me as well, or do you not care about the lives of civilians?" She hissed.
----
TL;DR
Sonya takes on the visage of the Villain, Ishtar Ishtar takes Sonya (herself) and her driver as a hostage and threatens the police into giving her Wang Ba as well as insurance.

He snarls feeling the blunt of the punch briefly jarring him. His focus dwindling briefly as he scowled with light crimson dripping from his nostrils as he scuffled and tried to force a distance between the two. The ensuing battle was entertaining though to say the least. The blood pumping allowing him to hold on for his wounds and allow the body to heal at least lightly with passing time. A few passing wounds coming from the battle however. Although when chance would present he'd try and break apart when time was needed.
His fleeing though when chance presented did not come without aggression. Like a fox fleeing the master's hen house, Evading the master but the master's dog appearing to cut off escape or at least hinder it. The large creature causing a hefty blow to bring a rather explosive end to this squabble. Knocking the small Niso appearing John to the ground briefly. Causing him to scowl but as he turned going wide eyed as the large crane began to fall. "Oh shit!" He'd roar out briefly crawling away on all fours unable to get to his feet from the blow just yet. But trying to get away from the fall as best one could. Dust and debris spreading out lightly for a moment or two as that loud crashing sound caused his ears to ring briefly.
"This has turned into a real shit show... This is what I get for being in the open..." Licking his upper lip as some of the blood coated it from his bloodied nose. When he got to his feet though he had another problem... The woman that seemed to be an ever present thorn in his side no matter how often he tried to pluck her out.
He could feel his body sticky in most areas, Even if some wounds had partially closed his cuts, bruises, and bullet grazes and wounds had made him somewhat slicked in blood. He had barely let her finish before he'd ignited in a bold running for her barely as her words had even neared finishing. Thrusting his knife forward in a strong rush directly forward but not in a exactly hidden or intricate maneuver. The blow more a distraction then anything as his blade soared towards her gut. The who intention of making the swift move able to be seen easily was hoping she'd dodge. For whether it hit or missed he didn't care for he intended to keep running past her, If she avoided it he wouldn't even stop unless hindered. Of course if he could wound her... The blood could only add his escape. "You really don't know who you're dealing with... I bet you have the heart of a real hero." He'd say with a weak hunger in in his words. Attempting to rush off if possible hoping the bloodied slick to his body would allow him to be harder to get a grasp on as well. --- Bruised and battered lightly from Tony/Centurian Feeling weakened. Does his best to cease the opportunity to rush Grace when it's just the two of them. Attacks her directly with a stab motion, Trying to feint to get her to dodge so he can try and flee in one continued motion.

[FINAL ROUND OF ACTIONS. Make them count. Next ST post will determine the outcome.] Tonight is weird. From the moment the police force and pros entered the scene, madness has occurred within the terminal. From an entire ship filled with potentially dangerous chemicals about to crash into a bridge, while a train rushes through with no sign of stopping, to a railgun being fired and destroyed several cranes and other items, to a little girl at death's door because she drank something horrible. Also, a guy exploded in front of everyone. Remember that? More and more dock workers are being saved, at the very least. Currently some of them are being escorted by Wildheart after he attempted to strike John, which failed, leaving most of the heavy duty on capturing the lunatic who killed a cop to the other pro. While capturing all criminals is the highest duty, helping out the innocents is, at the end of the day, far more important in the eyes of a hero. Well, it should be, at least. The officers are grateful for the aid, but a tinge of bitterness is in the air. Both for them not arriving in time, and for their own incompetence at letting the scenario get out of hand. No one could have seen the hostage holding occur. Now all their hopes on apprehending this man lies on V.V. With her final demanding, John's reply was a dash towards her. A final response to this dance they have been playing. One chance to immobilize the hero so he can scatter away into the dust. Meanwhile Wang is at a crossroads. The officers are getting agitated and at this point he could be in a serious scenario: being jailed for inaction and being accused of accomplice, something he is encouraging. It won't end well if he is jailed, however. On the other hand, a recent thing occurred: it appears there was a change of plans for the car. Do they have a chance of saving the singer? Perhaps not, as the car turned out to belong to Ishtar. Maekawa is presumed to be within the car, holding the singer hostage (he's silently laughing to himself: the police cant be that stupid right? she just changed appearances!) A new opportunity for Wang Ba to take: would he use their desperation to help innocents to escape, or use this small period of chaos to use his barriers and...dispose of them or whatever comes to mind? Who knows what this man has in store in his mind. Ideas brewing in the air. All the workers are currently being taken care of, with more coming soon by way of Wildheart. Violet Vortex and a face shifting man at a standstill, currently having their final confrontation. A desperate swipe to make his getaway easier. A hostage scenario about to be either abused or taken up, by force or otherwise. It's all up to the master strategist to determine how this hold up will result in. What the news will report tomorrow will be….. ----- Tony: save the people Grace: stop the man All villains: this

Tony grit his teeth. It was not like he wanted to let that criminal run. Of course he did not! But still, Tony could not just ignore these poor civilians! If that criminal got away, of course Tony would feel terrible for not having been able to stop him. But if the hero heard of a civilian dying, and it was something he could have easily prevented if he was there, then the regret Tony would feel would probably be enough to utterly destroy the man. He was a pro-hero for a reason. To maintain and uphold the law, ensuring that the citizens he swore to protect would remain safe. So as far as Tony was concerned, he did not make the wrong choice.
But was it the right choice? If the criminal managed to evade the heroine and escaped, would he go on to murder people? That, Tony had no way of knowing. It was impossible to know for sure. But there was one thing that Tony was completely sure of. As long as he drew breath, he would do everything within his power to rescue and protect those that he could save. It was not good worrying about possible victims of a criminal who may or may not manage to escape. Instead, Tony needed to focus on the people he could reach, the ones he could save and keep safe here and now.
Besides, he had faith in the heroine. Surely Grace would be able to take care of things, even with her vomiting earlier. There was nothing at all to worry about. Right?
Tony kept an eye out for any civilians that needed help, while also making sure that the ones following him to the nearby officers remained close to him. Fortunately, he did not see anyone who was in danger. So once he made sure that the civilians safely reached the police, he could hurry over to Grace to assist her.
After telling the officers to help these people evacuate, Tony began to run, hoping that he could get over to where that crane had fallen. He needed to find some way to get over that obstacle. But as he began to try to take an alternate path to go around the fallen crate, he noticed a random person brandishing a knife, threatening an already injured dock worker. Tony grit his teeth as he ran over to the armed thug. "I don't think so!"
Time was not something Tony had much of right now. So after chasing down the thug who tried to run off, Tony tackled the guy to the ground. Barely avoiding the man's blade, Tony grabbed the man's outstretched arm and pinned it behind the thug's back, then slammed him down to both take the knife away and restrain the guy. "What did you think you were doing, threatening that poor worker?" As Tony began to handcuff the guy and ignored the man's demands to get off of him, he decided that the criminal's motive did not really matter. "Actually, never mind. You can answer that question and many others down at the station."
Fortunately, a pair of officers were patrolling the area, and having heard and noticed what was going on, ran on over and helped take over for Tony. One cop checked up on the injured worker, who was fortunately not too injured. Nothing more serious than a shallow cut and some bleeding. While the cop began to assure the victim that he would be taken to the medics immediately, the other officer grabbed the criminal and began taking him over to where the others were to put the scumbag behind bars. Of course, Tony was grateful for the help. "Thank you." Now with that done, Tony could go back to what he was trying to do in the first place: Get back to stopping John.
As he began to run, Tony could not help but sigh. He wished that Centaurion did not need to rest right now. He could really use the beast's speed right now. But alas, not everything could work out the way he wanted to. After checking the area and making absolutely sure that there was no one else in need of help (whether civilian or officer) or any more criminals to stop, Tony ran, not stopping until he made it over to the other side of the fallen crane, and not caring that he was beginning to feel tired.
However, it appeared that between the escorting of civilians to safety and the stopping of that criminal, he took too long to return to the scene. Regardless of the outcome of the showdown between Grace and John, Tony would only arrive at the scene when it was already long over.
Would Grace be alright? Would John be restrained and ready to be taken away? Or did he manage to make his escape? Regardless of the outcome, Tony had arrived too late to make any difference here.
tl;dr
- Helped make sure that the civilians were safe as he escorted them to where the police were
- Tried to go to where Grace is, but noticed a criminal about to kill a civilian
- Stops the criminal, disarms and restrains him, and leaves both the civilian and the thug to the two officers who just showed up
- Makes sure that there's no one else in need of saving/helping (civilians or cops) or stopping (criminals) before going back to where Grace and John were
- Arrives too late, regardless of how the Grace vs John thing goes

Are You... Holding Out For a Hero~?
❝ Have it your way, kid… Despite the circumstances almost feeling a sense of disappointment as her foe picked the path of violence, whilst some might have allowed this to colour their judgement, Miss Gilbert did not. This not her first ‘rodeo’, the blonde was no fresh faced rookie straight outta hero school, but rather the type of girl who had faced danger and even death on the streets of Los Angeles and come through the other side not only as a survivor, but a victor. So, as the brat barrelled toward her, the young but not inexperienced hero knew what she had to do. Keeping herself loose and light in the moment that she had to anticipate the next action, Grace kept her upper body loose as she let her enemy draw nearer and nearer to her, practically baiting him with her immobility but that all part of the plan. Or as close to a plan as she had. The eagle eyes of the enchantress locked on the shape of her adversary, the flash of steel in his hand drew her attention and maybe even scared her just a little bit, but it did not make her flinch or flail or do anything. Facing down enemies with nasty weapons something she was used to, the Violet Vortex could remember being trained how to handle them properly by a young Japanese man named Kenta, and in hindsight she might have felt disappointed that he was no longer by her side as she put what she had been taught into practice. Adrenaline surging through her system to allow her to ignore the aches and strains her body had been through thus far, it would all come down to the moment that she had the chance to respond, the mind of the minx grew silent as she let experience and instinct take over as she struck out in defence, of both herself and anyone else who might have had the misfortune to cross paths with this punk in future. The left hand of our heroine swept forwards and to the side at the last possible moment as she stepped into the blow, her body moved in unison like that of a dancer as she sought to defend herself, aiming to deflect the wrist of her enemy, to trap it as that wild and wicked knife sailed toward her. The practice of the young woman showing in the fluidity of her movement, as her hand moved forward to grab the knife on the same side as her attacker, Miss Gilbert twisted and tweaked her footing just a little to help her cause. Turning her body so as to avoid outright impalement by the knife and limit the fatal blow to the a simple superficial slice on her abdomen, as she did so the young hero kept her elbow downward, her forearm vertically as a barrier between the knife and her torso, thus preventing her enemy for slashing her or piercing a different part of her body. By grabbing behind his wrist with this parrying defence and superior strength she boasted as she unleashed her quirk at full throttle, the violet vortex kept control of the weapon while disabling its lethality. At the same time as she advanced on her opponent in defence, so did she burst out in attack, deploying all of her skills as a martial artist to combine offense and defence into one. This would use the enemy's own momentum against him, as he was running at full speed towards her, leaving even less time to see the attack, let alone defend. The purple aura that was around her suddenly exploding into life as she did so, while it had been subtle as Grace bided her time and waited for her opportunity to strike, the quirk now responded reflexively, as if called upon by some instinct within her to strike with everything that she had. That violet energy growing volatile as she saw her chance to attack, our leading lady knew that she could unleash both strength and speed when she wanted to, and right now there was nothing she desired more than to let loose with her power in order to stop this butchering brat who had eluded her for so long. Perhaps feeling a sense of responsibility for arriving too late to help those poor officers earlier on, the girl was determined to make sure that the man responsible was brought to justice, and that showed in the combination of savvy and savagery that she unleashed. “HYA-HYA-HYAA!” A flurry of blows flying out from the free hand of the femme and flowing across her as she attacked from the opposite side to the hand that held her enemy’s weapon in place, while the speed and strength behind them that her quirk provided would have implied that these were the simple thrashings of a woman fuelled by anger and instinct, the truth was quite different. Each one more precise than they might have appeared, while she longed to sock her enemy in the face to wipe the smile off it, instead she targeted areas that were easier to hit. Hands launched like missiles that targeted his throat at first - a mere instant after his knife would have slashed her abdomen - and then a couple more rapid pace strikes targeting the sternum of the fool to really knock the wind out of his sails, with the power and pace behind them it would be difficult for any ‘ordinary’ human to duck out of the way of them given how the girl aimed to have that wrist snagged, and even harder to survive them. Considering the sudden, explosive advance on Grace's part, mounting a proper defence within the time it took to slash her until the first punch came would have been effectively impossible. Each of her fists flew straight forwards from her centre, drawing the shortest path to her opponent as she twisted her body into them all, pummelling away at her enemy's defence to overwhelm him all whilst allowing her to maximize the usage of her Quirk without keeping it ‘on’ for too long. That wasn’t all, however. The hands of our heroine uniting once she was done with this little trio of blows in an effort to ensure he could neither escape nor use that wicked weapon of his against her again, once those rapid-fore, machinegun-like blows had been unleashed in a brisk little triplicate the blonde beauty let her free hand fall down to the wrist of her opponent before aiming to rake his palm to rip the weapon right out of his hand, but even if that did not work she had something ‘extra’ in the chamber as well. "CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-!!!" Perhaps some combination of instinct and a simple desire to ‘get the job done’ also provoking an action that some might have seen as vindictive but to the mind of a pragmatist it simply practical, though she did not know what her target might be packing downstairs Miss Gilbert would likely reckon after the fact that it would be a lot less after her foot sailed upward straight for the crown jewels. A kick launched upward with maximum prejudice with more power than a sledgehammer, perhaps her enemy was lucky that the girl did not boast some gift that allowed her to sharpen her body or something of the sort, because right now the fury she unleashed might well have hacked in in two. Perhaps the only feeling more frightening to a man than the crippling, searing pain shooting up his spine, was the realization he might not be a man after all this had happened, but right now our young and heated heroine wasn’t in the frame of mind to worry much about the repercussions of her actions. "Huff Huff... You're under arrest!"
TL;DR - Lets him get close, spotting the knife readying herself for it.
- As John tries to stab her, Grace raises her hand on the same side as the attack to deflect it, twisting her body as she does so.
- Of course, stepping into a stabbing attack to the gut wasn't without risks, even as she twisted her body into the knife hand, she takes a small slash to the side of her torso. (E-Rank Durability)
- Making the most of this opportunity her sacrifice provides, Grace unloads three rapid-fire blows aimed at John’s throat and sternum. (C-Rank Strength/Speed)
- Dropping her hand after this, she tries to rake the knife out of John’s hand, whilst also trying to give him a hard kick in the balls for all he’s done, hoping to arrest him if she gets the better of him with this. (C-Rank Strength/Speed)
