If you look to the side, you can see the ocean.
It's a minor detail to consider. Of course you can see the ocean at a pier. What other purpose would there be to a pier if it's not connected to the ocean/sea in any way possible. How can any normal ship, large or small or otherwise, even bring itself to transport and drop off shipments if it can't even approach the place without the ocean. It's somewhat idiotic to consider that.
So why are there suspicious strange boats?
If you look to the side, you can see the containment yard.
Odd shipment this time around. Several fun lil toys to throw around this time around. All among the usual cargo, all organized within that little field. The equivalent of the storage bucket to place all of your toys in once you're done playing. All being kept in place. Some get to have the honor of being transported to the auction. Lucky them. Some are special weapons. Some are certain pieces of armor or exoskeletons. Some are medicines and drugs. And there's one special item. The golden goose of them all. The big highlight of the show, being saved for the grand finale.
And it just so happened that it was set off at the right moment.
If you look around you, you can see cranes.
Some are hooked on some containers, some are in the process of being opened. Others have been unloaded. The dock workers are usually used to the ambiance of the night, accompanied with car and ship noises and the general wildlife. It's different now. Loud noises in the distance. More and more buzz. Some sirens are heard. Certain areas are being closed off for something. The east and west are surrounded by cops and pro heroes. More people are entering. More law enforcement. More risk of being caught. They finally got the drop on people. Reinforcements coming from within. From the seas. They couldn't stand still any longer after...the incident that just occurred.
The moment was now. They have to do it right now.
If you look around you, you can see weird colorful globs of odd looking liquid. The results of the latest showing. A man enhance to the utmost limit, bursting into what is essentially goo. Any dock workers still working on the cranes can only look in confusion as they see this madness. Anyone nearby would have either stare in awe or run away in fear. Some other insane fellows might just scream in delight over it.
As the reinforcements of police officers and heroes rush towards the scene through the unloading area, they are bound to meet certain people that would disagree with this ''rude invasion' of what is a normal night in Shinagawa. Some of which came here after hearing about them invading. Some of which wanted to leave but got cornered. Some of which who were looking for a good time. Split in two thanks to containers and officers, the north side bears witness to a chaotic fight, all while the dock workers remain hapless to watch.
Should be a fun night to witness, no?
----
Overall set up round. Basically, the field around you is several large cranes and containers, all scattered around. You can use them if your character can reasonably justify the action, OR you can use the hapless dock workers to your advantage and convince them to help out/threaten them/escort them out. On the sides are police officers with armor, and perhaps later down the line a Pro Hero NPC will arrive as well. Posting order is Heroes/Vigilantes, then Villains, then ST, then the cycle beings. You all got 48 hrs to post, and this is STRICT. If you don't post within those 48 hours and one whole posting round passes, you are booted out of the thread as your character is left to the reasonable mercy of the others and myself. Reminder, this is a DE/Jail enabled thread.

So it's finally time, huh?
It all lead up to this. The waiting, the planning, it was all for this very moment. To crash this little party, get the stolen goods back, and put these criminals behind bars. To say Tony was excited was an understatement. The pro-hero looked forward to doing his part.
You ready for this, amigo? I'm going to need you at cien por ciento! From within Tony's mind, the beast grunted. Centaurion will be at more than a hundred percent for this! Centaurion ready to SMASH! Well just remember not to SMASH anything or anyone you don't need to. I don't want any collateral damage or innocents getting hurt. Yes, yes, Centaurion knows already. Sheesh!
As Tony remained hidden from sight along with the other law enforcement here, he watched as the auction's grand finale began. M.A.R.I.N.E., the man that was injected with the stuff, the changing colors, the lady that explained what was happening to the man. So this was the big reveal. A dangerous upgrade to an already dangerous substance. There was no way such a thing was allowed to remain in the hands of criminals! It was imperative for it to return back to the hands of where it truly belonged. Though that was not Tony's specific assignment. Still, he had faith in those whose goal was to go retrieve the bioweapon. They will succeed. They must succeed!
And then things became horrifying as the man who was injected with the substance literally burst, leaving rainbow-colored goop all over. Tony could not help but grimace in disgust. ¡Que terrible! This right here was proof that M.A.R.I.N.E. could not be allowed to be in criminal possession. It had to be retrieved, no matter what!
And now it was time for the operation to commence! Alongside the other officers and heroes, Tony ran in, ready to put a stop to the madness. Of course, the law enforcement would be met with resistance, with criminals either trying to flee or fight back. Still, it did not matter how many there were. Tony was not going to just allow them to get away without a fight!
Summoning the beast, Tony hopped on Centaurion and directed the beast to gallop ahead. His goal was to reach any criminal who tried to take advantage of the chaos to make a run for it. One such person tried to swing a bat at Centaurion, only for the beast to grab the wooden stick, drop it to the floor, and then SMASH it to pieces with his hoof. The thug tried making a run for it, but the beast was faster, blocking the man's escape route and delivering a fierce but non-injuring punch. Leaving the criminal in the hands of the nearest cop, Tony and Centaurion moved on ahead.
"Be sure to avoid the rainbow goo. I don't know just what's in that stuff, and I don't want to find out the hard way!" The beast nodded. "Yeah, Centaurion knows."
As the two kept moving, Tony spotted a scared dock worker. Moving quickly, the two made it to the civilian before anyone could make the person a target. "Do not fear! Centaurion and I shall keep you safe! Now please tell me if you've seen any of your coworkers around. I'm going to try to get you all out of here safely." The beast nodded. As much as it wanted to pick a fight with the criminals, he understood that protecting the civilians was very important. There was no victory if even a single innocent person was hurt. Even the wild battle-loving beast understood that this was no place for these dock workers to be in right now. They need to be taken to safety first. Then the criminal SMASHing can begin! "Hop on. Centaurion take you to safety." Tony nodded. "¡Exactamente!"
Hopefully the two would be able to not only escort this civilian to safety without a criminal trying anything, but also find the other civilians who were likely scared and being targeted by the criminals. Tony was determined to save them all if he could! And if any criminal tried to either endanger a civilian or otherwise get in the way...
... then Centaurion would look forward to a SMASHing time.
tl;dr:
- Running to the scene on horseback (well Centaurion, but same thing)
- Attacked by some lowly thug, only to knock the perpetrator out and leave him to the nearest cop. Took no damage.
- Is avoiding the rainbow goo, because who knows what that does
- Noticed a civilian, and rushes in to protect them before any harm befalls them
- Tony and the civilian are riding atop Centaurion, aiming to get the dock worker to safety
- Is also on the lookout for other civilians. Rescuing civilians are the main priority for Tony at the moment, though he will fight any villain that either gets in the way or tries hurting someone.
Quirk: Centaurion - D Speed and Power for Centaurion, Stamina for Tony

Are You... Holding Out For a Hero~?
❝ “Looks like things are heating up!” A finger lifting to her ear in response to the commotion down below her, Grace Gilbert’s excitement was betrayed just a little in the tone of her voice as her ‘trial’ for the evening seemed to begin with something of a bang, so to speak, as she spied something going on below her high perch and moved to respond to it. “Violet Vortex, moving to intercept~” Hopping down from the crane she had been perched atop in order to take advantage of their open surrounding and give her an ‘edge’ in her response, whilst some might have been fearful of such a sharp drop, this girl wasn’t. It only taking a moment for her to activate her quirk and wrap herself in a violet aura that made her hair and the short cape on her back ruffle from something other than wind resistance, after turning over in mid-air the Violet Vortex altered her downward trajectory and threw herself through the air like a firework, minus the sparks and screaming sound of course. It’s a shame that I won’t get the chance to see the Red Horn in action up close… Perhaps a little bit disappointed that she wasn’t on the front lines but the scene before her seeming to be an ample use of her own gifts, while Grace had been curious about seeing the ‘beast’ that was their number one hero in action, it seemed that today was not the day for that. However, that wasn’t wholly a bad thing. But this area is more suited to my particular ‘talents’, I suppose? The quirk that she possessed making her a beast in her own way, the blonde swept through the air with speed and grace, and certainly had plenty of chance to show off her own abilities without being overshadowed. Case in point, a firefight between the cops and the thugs looking to take the strange ‘toys’ on sale here as their own, this was definitely the sort of circumstance that she could resolve, and hopefully in record time as well. “Looks like you boys might a bit more muscle~” Firing up her radio again as she saw the opposing forces trading shots across the distance of a few dozen feet, the feisty flying fox added a flirtatious tone as she offered her considerable heft to help the good old boys in blue and took advantage of her aerial advantage as well. Flying down alongside her enemy side and then radically altering her path to clean sweep the line of bad guys like some kind of human missile or something of the sort, Miss Gilbert launched herself with a hint of recklessness toward her enemies from the left hand side with her arms stretched wide and only a hint of mercy in mind as well. “Unfffff!” Grunting as she cleaned out the line of thugs like blazing blonde ballista, once more the girl found herself grateful for the protective effect of the aura that surrounded her and protected her from the impact, for the most part. Perhaps left a little bit shaken for a second as she scythed through not one nor two but three enemies in what seemed like the space of a second, Grace shook her head once she was done and then turned her head to make sure none of them were getting back up, but it seemed unlikely. Ya snooze, ya lose, as they say~ The motion she had taken far more devastating for those without the ‘cushion’ of her protective aura, tomorrow when these guys woke up they would probably feel like they had been hit by a bus or an elephant, but luckily our heroine knew how to hold her power back just enough so that they wouldn’t be killed by what she did, which was more than what could be said if they had been hit by a bullet. That almost made it seem like what she had done was merciful really, though given how they had been spilled all over the scene, that was probably not the impression one would get from observing what she had done. “That’s that one lot taken care of~” Letting out a short and sharp sigh as she lingered on the spot only a matter of meters from the ‘mess’ she had made with her brutally efficient manoeuvre, after doing so the violet vision lifted her finger back to her ear and fired up the earpiece that she and her fellow ‘good guys’ should have been wearing. “Anyone in need of a little backup?” Perhaps a little hyped by the chance to show off and that showing in the eagerness with which she checked on her cohorts, Miss Gilbert was only too happy to rush to the scene of trouble around her, no matter what it was…
TLDR - Grace starts out on top of one of the cranes, watching out over the scene.
- Comes across police officers and criminals trading pot shots.
- Flew down and ‘cannonballed’ three bad guys to take them out.
- Got on the radio to see if anyone needs backup.

Post by Wang Ba on Oct 26, 2019 20:54:24 GMT -4
As the Plutocracy auction approached it's peak... All hell broke lose. Policemen and Pro Heroes, descended on the scene. It wasn't hard to tell that the event had been sold out... Which was why Wang Ba had an idle grin on his face, even as the rain poured down from above. It wasn't altogether surprising. In fact, if no one else had done so, then he may well have put in an anonymous tip. For competitors of Japan's underground giant such as himself, this turn events could even be said to be ideal. "Wow, boss! It's just as you said!" His companion was suitably impressed, her starstruck gaze falling on the descending pros. "But mou! Can you tell me the plan now? All the exits are blocked, you know!" His companion pouted, not that it would bother him at all. He merely licked his lips at the site of one pro hero swiftly knocking down an entire line of those fighting to escape.
"Que'er, Que'er. There's no need to panic." The fat businessman replied, remarkably calm for having just watched a man explode. "Birds die for food, and men die for money. And for what they may seem, policemen... Are still men." If Wang Ba were the type to walk into an area knowing it was a trap, without a backup plan, there was no way he would have survived this long. "And of course, that is only if it is necessary. If Plutocracy chooses not to offer support to their clients, why... This might may be far more profitable to us than we could have ever predicted." He smirked. Certainly, it was dangerous. Just being here was a one way ticket to a padded cell... Assuming they could pin anything on him. What, was just being present in a place a crime, now?
For the woman behind him, still wearing her bright red dress, the words were certainly illuminating. Her mouth formed an 'o' as she nodded vigorously. Of course the boss would have planned this far in advance! "I see! If Plutocracy lets the people they invited get captured like that, they'll lose the trust of the entire underworld! After all, quite a few people here are their competitors... It wouldn't be hard to start a rumour that Plutocracy themselves leaked the raid! Especially if their guys get away while others don't!" The devious idea was quite jarring when said in such a chipper voice, but then... That was her charm. The fat man's grin widened as he chuckled. "Why, Que'er, it seems you are learning a thing or two about how we do things around here."
After all, while rare military secrets were certainly appealing to the Chinese underlord, that had not been his main purpose in coming out tonight. It was to observe, to plan... And to see if there was a chance to sabotage. And right now, that chance seemed to have opened up. "Why, it may be best if I allow myself to be caught, after all. I am the largest competitor to them, you know. It would open up so much room for criticism." Was he joking, or was he serious? Even Zhu Que, who had been with him the longest, was unable to tell. Her face twisted as though unsure whether to laugh or cry. "Boss, how could you even consider that! The risk is much too high! In the first place, there's a lot of assumptions involved... What if you are wrong?" Swiftly, the girl covered her mouth. Even as worried as she was, doubting the boss was never a good idea!
But to her surprise, the man was not angry at her lack of faith. Instead he broke out in a booming laugh. Why, my dear, if that is the case... Then I suppose that is all I was worth! Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Remember, Que'er! To not take risks may be safe, but it is only by taking them that one can truly prosper! However, if one only takes risks, they are no different from a gambler. What matters is how calculated your risks are... And in this case, I like my odds."
If Zhu Que had a notebook, she would certainly be writing down every word. As expected of the boss! But wait, he hadn't actually promised to not get caught...
tl;dr Wang Ba and Zhu Que are wandering among the last remains of Nakamura (rip) while chatting about their escape plan.
Plan is as follows: First, wait and see if Plutocracy offers support or distraction. Many VIPs are caught in the raid, so to not help would destroy the organization's reputation... Which is fine with him.
If they do not help- Money is king! Whether it be the policemen on the scene or the ones at the jail, he has confidence in bribing his way out... If he can't just walk out the door as they have no evidence of wrongdoing.
Suggests that he is hoping for the latter- possibly as a joke- As doing so will allow him to accuse Plutocracy of engineering the plot to use the police to remove competitors such as himself, dealing another blow to their reputation.

Post by Sonya Chernova on Oct 27, 2019 13:19:59 GMT -4
Sonya sat with her legs crossed, silver hair pulled up in that severe bun she wore when she was playing music. She'd placed herself near the edge of the seats, appearing demure next to one of the more gruff looking patrons. The man was an idiot, paid and coached to glare at anyone who dared give her a second glance. She did nothing but watch the proceedings without a word, never calling attention to herself. Elsewhere; one of her handlers held a cellphone and was holding it tight in one hand. One buzz from a text meant to abstain, two buzzes meant to bid. Neither of them looked at the devices they held and the only history on his phone would be the number 1, over and over.
It well, all things considered, until chaos overturned what was a pleasant evening. The forces of society, heroes, policemen, and she wouldn't be surprised if a few vigilantes snuck their way in; threw themselves at the proceedings like so many locusts. Sonya sniffed once in disappointment before sending three "1"s to her handler who responded with a single buzz of his own. Easier to communicate with vibrations through touch than sound in such a loud situation. The purchases were already made, but there was always opportunity for more-and Sonya Chernova was hungry. Yet her target was not more product, no.
She wanted people.
Her black silk dress whipping around her, the crowds of villains and underworld enthusiasts alike rushing this way and that like a horde of pathetic rats it was a wonder that this new hero society thought so little of them. She heard a voice, familiar, disgusting, but all the while welcome all things considered. Her nose wrinkled for only a moment while she considered opportunity and options. Taking herself down the steps she held her violin case close while she applied some gentle pressure to the phone in her free hand. The hiss and pop of the electronics frying and corroding in exposure to her quirk was covered up by the shouting.
She made it to the bottom of the steps where she spotted her handler. He was holding a large suitcase in one hand. She nodded to him and gestured toward one of the nearby doors. He returned the expression and made a beeline for the door, pushing his way through the crowd until he slipped out of sight. Several of the researchers indebted to their generous hosts should be down their if the information she had pushed so hard for was correct. If her guess was also correct, the Plutocracy was planning on either abandoning or killing them. Sonya would count on the pro-heroes to rescue them, but not as the researchers. Her handler would explain the situation and offer them tuxedos. They'd pose as her support and walk out the front door.
The chaos continued to boil over while she moved to find a secure position. Glowing pink eyes piercing places of darkness in search of anything she can use. That's when she heard his voice again, Wang Ba. Her skin crawled. His booming laugh carried far enough for even her to notice. She could pretend to be one of his companions, forced to endure his presence before making a plea to the heroes. Or she could simply let the Heroes take her to safety. Either option worked she supposed but she did not want to risk that disgusting man making a mess of things in other ways. What was he after anyway? Sonya rolled her jaw before turning to her left and coming face to face with a cop.
Sonya raised her hands, every instinct demanding that she melt the wretched little man's retinas. She took a few steadying breaths to stop herself from murdering the first policeman she saw, that would do her no good- damn these urges. She instead gestured her head to the violin case in her right hand.
"I'm just a musician!" She pleaded, "I was hired to play, I don't even know what's going on! Why is this happening?"
The policeman hesitated for a moment before lowering the weapon he was just about to draw on her. He held out a hand, giving her as kind a smile as he could offer given the circumstances. Sonya surpressed a grin, too easy, only to have it snatched from her face when the man dropped to his knees and then his face. A trio of men, their weapons drawn, had snuck up on him. They looked at her and broke into savage, ragged sneers. She glanced to her left, too many witnesses. She couldn't kill them like this. She clicked her tongue.
"Shit," She hissed.
TL;DR
Sonya is moving through the remains of the auction center and events while she sends her one minion to go 'rescue' a few of the technicians working for the hosts.
Sonya considers her plan after moving things into position, she planned on getting out by holding her cover as a hired on musician.
A cop nearly saves her but is killed, she is now targeted by three thugs and is trying to maintain her cover. | DISCORD 784 WORDS First time using the new post template. Texty testy test!

He couldn't help but feel a vile sensation bubbling from within as the interruptions seemed to rush in at a plenty. From the loud rustling food steps of armed officers with their armored boots clacking along the cold hard ground of the pier to even the overly fanciful sound of heroes on horse back if one could even believe such a thing. He could feel the low scowl leave his breath in irritation and anger at the interruption of what should have been both a creative and fun evening given all that had been building up and transpired for the coming sales of the evening. The anger in the young eyes he currently possessed giving a bit of deathly scowl to them wondering if this was truly the best such powers of Japan really had to deal with. Certainly there were more 'pressing' matters to deal with he thought to himself as events began to unfold around him in the surrounding area. The face he currently held was not his own appearing as a bit of a smaller as well as thinner boy in his current state. Having half a mind enough to come to the actual even such as this in a more disguised face. His flesh was his own while at the same time not. The savory fresh gathered dna resting within stomach that helped bring about this change and twist of his body. He'd cleaned and taken care of the rest before actually arriving of course as well. Didn't wish to leave some sort of mess around of fleshy goo for anyone to stumble upon. He also didn't know too much about this strange quirk only what he was able to see in observation in that... interesting spectacle not long back back in the docks. The black haired boy had his hat pulled low and a coat pulled tight around him as he snickered to himself looking around at the strange display. Although... His normal need to remain unseen and hidden away from the world was currently somewhat not as restricting. He wore a face that was not his own. He could feel the rush in his body. The painting and a few bobbles he wished to buy had now been denied to him as well for little more then what he saw as the law flexing a muscle in display. Nothing more as what value did they truly get by overtaking such a sale. In his mind this was simply the law of Japan wishing to show its strength to those they knew were mightier then them. An wearing a face that was not his own.... He could not resist the temptations that wormed into his very soul and scratched within the confines of his skull like guttural whispers guiding him. As if something awakened within... As if all his prior faces spoke to him. The cops came in like normal but John even if he held the face of the strange boy and body for now didn't do much stand against them blending into the background as best he could among those innocent here or at least as innocent as those less vile were. " Please.... Help me..." He'd say a small face mask wrapped around his face, A black medical mask like so many wore in this country to prevent germs and disease. Removing his coat and allowing it to fall towards the ground. Shortly after his shirt. His boots as well as he'd walk near the nearest officers... This strange power and how it regrew the body... The personal sensation he could feel growing between these intruders and the intimacy as well as sexual tension felt of using anothers face to those armored behind armored masks at a place vending such personal art he felt a kindred touch too? Was this his patron speaking to him? Was this that spiritual connection he sought for similar to his personal overtaking of his past ventures? He held arms open wide in the body of this young man. It was like times before... He could not resist what wanted out even if the thinking half of his mind tried too. By the time the police got to him as people fled he'd stand present mostly disrobed with a well maintained and muscular body even in this disguise. His arms opening wide as if a man in a church or holy place accepting their god or holy sensations into their spirit. " I need... This... Forgive me..." He said making a display as he gasped hard into the air with a voice that wasn't his. Smelling the air wanting to smell those that wished to be part of this entangling romance that was about to begin. His body stripped only wearing his pants but bare in all ways other then that. His nails reaching forward and digging deep into the flesh of his chest cutting four to five inch gashes into his own chest across his pecs to cover his hands in blood and overtake the scent that was driving him made presently. ' What are we becoming...' He hissed out a heavy breath allowing as many officers to gather around as so desired making a display that was clear he was someone they would want to see. Someone they would make something beautiful together once they saw! " I am... Dantalioooon An I've come for something dear to me. I see you've come too... This must be... Fate." He'd say gasping into the air. His arms wide for the longest time in the air as if waiting for holy gifts from above. If once the officers had finally gathered though or however many fat had chosen for him as he held this strange body with such gifts... He'd act. Arms dropping down to his belt line and pulling two sharpened survival like knives and rushing forward towards the nearest cop with a look of sensual chaos in his eyes. rushing towards the nearest cop as he intended to begin. All the pieces as they were working like a drug freshly pumped into his veins. To which he could not resist the rush in this moment as all the pieces came together so awfully perfect. ---- TLDR Disguised as Niso Konta in bodyVoiceQuirk Wishes to buy a painting and some other things set in a prior topic Given in full disguise lets go of his emotional constraints and unleashes as he feels his desires swell up. "So many people down there...H-hey. Why aren't you with them? Your quirk is powerful, right?"
More and more chaos. From afar, the black cloaked figure Virtue along with other officers watches as the multiple of criminals and heroes go along in their attempts to bring order into this wretched place. They are stationed back as the rest of them went ahead. Virtue looks back at a confused officer, wondering why they stayed back. A somewhat robotic chuckle came out of it's mask. "We are tasked to capture any materials and merchandise we deem to be illegally obtained. If it were to be released, more collateral damage would come out of it. Its skills wouldn't be necessary right now. For now, surveillance and mission control will do just fine." The officer can only nod in confusion as he looks back as the chaos. Guess he...It has a point. At the very least, it's far more safer than what the officers at the local are doing, not to mention the dock workers. Imagine, to be performing your job during a somewhat suspicious ordeal, only for it to suddenly blow up in your face and multiple and multiple of officers come in, surrounding you with no escape. It would make anyone frightened or annoyed.
---- Small time thugs are running away as the dock workers attempt to do their best to remain safe. What can they do? Only one of their fellow co-workers had a quirk, and theirs suck. What can glowing fingers do? Nothing in this situation. All the meanwhile officers are trying to capture these thugs while attempting their best not to get hurt.
One thug was getting antsy. He wasted all his money on some new toy, only to lose it amidst the chaos. He's furious, he's angry, he wants to take it out on someone. That someone was, admittedly, not the right choice to direct your anger against, being half horse and lion and all. But that didn't stop him. Grabbing a bat, he gritted his teeth and ran up to him, swinging hard with all of his might. To an average person it would have done serious damage. If it struck the figure he was aiming at, at least. Instead, it was picked off from his hands and destroyed. Tactical retreating didn't work as well, as he got punched for his troubles.
Why am I here…From afar a somewhat younger looking dock worker looked in awe and fear as the chaos around them ensured. To aid his family, he took up this shift, assuming it to be dull and boring. Now here he was, cooped up near a corner, wishing for someone to help him. To get him out of here. His wish was granted, as Centurion came up to him. He can only look forward with wide eyes as he asked him if he needed help. He shakes his head up and down as he gets on him, essentially riding a horse out of this hellhole of sorts. From afar some other goons look at him. Is that one of the auction people, they think to themselves. Is that why the horse guy is saving them? If they kidnap the guy, maybe they'll give us the stuff? They grin as they ready their weapons to chase after Centurion.
---
"Goddamn it!" From afar, one of the officers yelled out in frustration Too many criminals here. Too many people with weapons just trying to get out of here, trying to avoid getting captured. Three officers are hiding behind a crate as they periodically peak out and shoot at the incoming fire. More and more bullets being wasted, they're being pushed back. Damn it, they need backup. Where the hell are the heroes that came along and-
Oh. The radio popped in with a flirting voice asking if they needed her help. She sounded like she was having fun, oddly enough. Suppose it is better to be more composed during events such as these; better to find enjoyment in this than to be screaming and shaking in fear. "Y-yes. We-we're nearby-" He didn't finish his sentence, as she already had the proper vantage point to see them, rushing in to clear the wave of low level mooks. As she asked if anyone else needed help, a voice cried out. They seem to be in trouble. Near the explosion site itself, 3-5 officers attempted to get people out of here when some thugs were ganging up near the explosion site itself, surrounding them. They don't seem to be willing to cooperate...
---------
"Freeze!" As Wang Ba and Zhu Que discuss how they're gonna pay off for their protection, three officers held up their weapons at them. At this moment, they're not taking any chances at whoever is remaining near the point of origin. The fact that they're staying near where the test subject exploded is somewhat suspicious. Were they in charge of the auction? Did they buy anything? How can they be so calm during this time? Depending on what Wang Ba says, they'll either attack or attemp to escort them out. Either way, the one in charge goes "Alright then, you two. We're going to ask you some questions, and-" An unruly sound interrupted them. A group of furious auction goers stared at the officers interrupting their fun. Did they cause the MARINE explosion? Did they manipulate the drug from behind the scenes? Or did they come to steal some for themselves? Irrational thoughts fill their minds as they rush towards them. The officers attempt to fight off these newcomers, hoping for some aid.
Meanwhile, an officer separate from the two squad is attempting to get any worker out of here. He comes across a scared musician, clutching onto her violin. Auction or not, he had to get any presumed innocent out of here and get them to questioning. He lowers his weapon as he attempts to reassure her. "Ri-right, don't worry. We'll get you to safety and-" And then pain coursed through his body, as he fell on the ground, a harsh wound through his body. He glares at the emerging pool of blood, losing awareness as a thug and his two friends laugh, the ringleader holding in his hands the fancy new toy he got from the auction. He always wanted to kill an officer in one shot, and look at him now. [ST Note: since none of you have healing properties, rip in piss Officer guy #54]. The trio sneer at the musician, ready to attack her or take her hostage, man the possibilities are endless! With this new weapon, they can do any-
One man falls to the ground, covered in purple veins. The other then drops to the ground, also covered in purple veins. The ring leader looks stunned for a bit as he feels a sharp stab in the back, something surging through his entire body as he starts to choke up a bit. He falls down, barely conscious as a new figure walks ahead and holds out his hand. "A musician, hmm? Whoever you are, consider me your latest new fan. I enjoyed your piece during the show. Would be a shame to let you die here." A somewhat devious smirk is plastered on his face. A long scorpion tail removes its stinger from the back as it recoils back up. Any witness staring at it got scared and scattered. "Let's see if we can get out of here alive, hmm?"
Meanwhile, separate from the rest, a small group have decided to do their own search and rescue. There's bound to be hurt workers here...there has to be. The constant in-fighting, the loud noises and shouting, it's bound to confuse innocent people here. They managed to find someone: a distressed black haired lean man, whose face looks younger than his body would suggest. "Y-you alright?" One of the officers help him up his feet. He radios back: "Kena to base, we have ourselves a survivor, we'll bring him back right now." He guides him as they start to head back.
But there was something off right now. They were starting to feel uncomfortable. Sure, the whole scenario around them would make anyone sane feel iffy and uncomfortable, but...what was this weird tension in the air. The weird gasping, the odd moans...The officer turns back to see the man (John) disrobe, having what essentially looks like a mental break down. This was...this was something they didn't expect to happen today. The odd behavior can be excused as extreme stress, but the man claiming themselves to be "Dantalion?" Someone that...well truthfully, they don't know what that name means. The officer closest to him gets closer, trying to calm him down. "I-it's okay, kid, we-we can help you out and get out of here, maybe get you some medication to calm down, don't worry." While the others keep their hands on their hostlers: Something doesn't feel right.
Tl;dr
Missions time!
Tony: get the kid out of here while you get attacked by people thinking he works for the auction itself.
Grace: Save the people nearby the explosion point in time
Wang Ba: Convince the hell out of these officers to help you and also get out of the explosion origin area.
Sonya: Get out of there with your new NPC buddy (Villain NPC; Tetsuo Maekawa) while convincing others you're not a villain
John: Man is getting close to you...so, guess go wild on the cops before help arrives, Nisohn.

Tony was scanning the immediate vicinity, looking to see if the civilian that he had with him was the only worker there, or if there were any others nearby who needed rescuing. Tony did not want to even think about the possibility of missing anyone and the poor innocents getting hurt because they were overlooked and unable to be saved in time. I don't care how many things and people try to obscure my view. I must save as many as I can!
He then noticed several people. However, they were not workers. They were not even innocent civilians. Quite the opposite, in fact. With the weapons they held, these guys could only mean trouble. Why were they chasing him? Were they after the young dock worker? If so, for what reason? Whatever the case was, Tony was not about to let them catch up to Centaurion. "Faster, amigo! We have company!" Afterwards, Tony turned to the dock worker. "Hold on tight, alright?" The beast took a quick second to glance behind to look at the pursuers, and then growled at them. So they wanted to come pick a fight? The beast grinned. Let's see just how fast they were!
The beast came to a stop, then turned to face the goons. Tony was surprised. "No! What are you doing? We need to get away! Saving this young man takes priority over all else right now! Leave them for later!" Centaurion grinned. "Centaurion knows that! Centaurion just making it easier by keeping them away!" The beast then raised its hands, then with a mighty swing of its arms, clapped really hard, pushing the air in front of Centaurion to create a short (as in no more than about five meters) but powerful burst of air. "SMAAAAAASH!" The aerial shock wave rushed forward towards the goons giving chase. If it hit, then the thugs would be pushed back with great force, as though slapped hard by a large hand. Nothing lethal or injury inducing, but it would definitely hurt.
Regardless of whether or not the attack hit, Centaurion immediately turned around and began to gallop away, aiming to use its speed to put a great distance between the goons and itself, Tony, and the civilian. As the beast continued to gallop, it would periodically turn its head to see if the armed goons were still giving chase. If they were, it would punch the air behind it hard enough to send out another burst. But hopefully, the thugs would either not be able to catch up, or they would give up the chase. How terrible it would be if one of them had a quirk that let them catch up to the beast!
In the meantime, Tony was assuring the dock worker that everything was going to be fine. "It's all under control. Don't worry about those idiotas. They can't hope to catch us. Centaurion is fast!" Still, they could not run away forever. The beast did not share Tony's great stamina, so it would tire out faster than he would. But that was alright. Even if they could not shake off the goons, Centaurion only needed to run away for long enough to find a safe spot to leave the civilian. As soon as the young man was safe, then Tony could have Centaurion fight the thugs off without any worries.
With any luck, the goons would hopefully either give up the chase, or be left behind in the dust. In that case, Tony would direct Centaurion to the nearest group of officers to escort the civilian out of here. But if those thugs proved to be too persistent, then Tony was determined to keep the young man safe no matter what. If the beast could not lose them, then it would make them wish that had run away sooner.
And of course, Tony remained on the lookout for anyone else who was in need of saving. Centaurion had enough space for another person or two, assuming that someone was carried on the beast's arms. Naturally, Tony wanted to save not just the dock worker that was here with him, but anyone and everyone that he could find, reach, and rescue.
tl;dr
- Notices the armed goons giving chase. Oh no
- Tony tells Centaurion not to engage them, prioritizing the safety of the civilian first and foremost
- Centaurion uses ranged bursts of air created by clapping/punching really really hard to keep the thugs at bay as it attempts to move away. These ranged attacks are not being launched at full power, so they're only moving five meters and are only going to knock the thugs back a bit if they do hit.
- If they lose the goons, then Tony will aim to drop off the civilian to the nearest group of officers so they can take the man to safety
- If not, then Tony is prepared to protect the civilian as Centaurion prepares to fight them off
- Is still on the lookout for anyone else who needs saving

Are You... Holding Out For a Hero~?
❝ “We’re in need of support close to the site of the explosion, Vortex! Officers pinned down by attackers, with civilians in harm’s way!” A frightened voice piping up over the radio in response to Grace’s inquiry, the combination of urgency in the words and the unpleasant manner of the crackle in the radio seemed to wipe away a little of the buoyancy in the spirit of the blonde, and she wore a slightly more serious expression as she answered the call. “En route, I’ll be there in a flash!” The brow of the beauty furrowing as she focused herself a bit more in response to the peril she sensed, the girl hopped back into the sky as she confirmed her route toward the danger that she had been alerted off, and made her way toward the request with every ounce of speed that she could summon. Having those dock workers around complicates things… The violet eyes of the vixen sharpening as she shot up into the sky and sighted the spot that she was seemingly being summoned toward, as those bright indigo irises focused Miss Gilbert narrowed her gaze and threw herself through the air with everything that she had, knowing that every moment might be critical. Not entirely used to the feeling of having to fight alongside the police force in situations such as these given how most of her ‘career’ up to this point had been spent evading the possible implication of being arrested for what she was doing, the flying fox was more used to acting alone and while she liked the attention and ‘rush’ she got from fighting alongside others, had to confess she did not enjoy the enhanced sense of vulnerability she felt with people on her side to protect along with herself. Not so easy to trade shots with the bad guys with innocents in the way, and our enemy doesn’t have that burden either? Certainly their numbers helping to subdue mobs of enemies more quickly but woman in the skies more accustomed to fighting without having to look behind herself so to speak, it would take some getting used to, but hopefully with time the combination would prove an asset in of itself. At least in this way, Grace didn’t have to worry about swatting each and every enemy in her path, just the worst of them. Even my shield can’t stand up that well to bullets… Once again the sight of the siren in the sky narrowing as she spied the crossfire she was heading for, Miss Gilbert could see the shots of firearms flying in all directions toward the officers and the civilians they sought to protect, and for a moment felt a surge of sympathy toward the people who were pinned down. Just gonna have to make sure I don’t get clipped by any, huh? Firefights not something that anyone relished going into, while the mulberry shrouded miss could protect herself from many things with her quirk, even she struggled to defend herself when bullets were flying her way and could only imagine how people who were ‘naked’ by comparison felt. People don’t even need a quirk to be deadly with those things, do they? The mind of the minx going a mile a minute as she took advantage of her high vantage point to spot the easiest route to get those civilians out of the way and flying right for it, though she was something of a show off it was at times like these that the Violet Vortex was glad that her quirk did not make a whole lot of sound as she moved, and that was something she could take advantage of. Shooting down with an intent to give those officers a chance to get the innocents out of the way at the very least, Grace flung herself down into the thick of things with as much stealth and striking power as she could manage by dive bombing the best escape route she could find and smashing the ground beneath her as she did so. “Sorry guys, looks like I was late to this little party!” Railing off a quick one-liner as she shattered the ground beneath her with sheer force and unleashed not only an ear-shattering crack but also a cloud of dust beneath her, without waiting a beat or a breath the blonde beauty threw herself into the action, hard. Launching herself at the nearest enemy with a hard punch and then exploiting her fantastic speed to slam another as she sought to take advantage of her startling entry to carve a hole in their formation big enough for the officers to guide the innocents away from both this nasty situation and the remains of the explosion, though she was just a little bit lacking for air in her lungs Miss Gilbert looked toward what remained of the enemy force and cracked her knuckles, wondering what these fools might have waiting for her…
TLDR - Grace responds to the call for help and takes to the skies
- Flying to the site, she spots the safest route for escape and attacks a pair of enemies that lie in the way of it, while avoiding the remnants of the explosion.
- Taking these guys out to provide the police and civilians a ‘way out’, she stands ready to tackle the rest of the thugs, sizing them up.

Post by Wang Ba on Nov 1, 2019 18:51:14 GMT -4
It didn't take long for the authorities to arrive- Well, the two were quite squarely in the middle of the disaster, were they not? Zhu Que astutely held her tongue, while Wang Ba... Remained eerily calm. Sir, I assure you, this is nothing but a misunderstanding." He would reply, voice dripping with saccharine charm. He didn't need to explain much more, as the rabble began to swarm the police officer... Why, that wouldn't do at all. Mindless rabble such as this could hardly touch a hair on the man's head... At least, not without taking one for the team. The advantage in numbers was... Not really existent, as it would be obvious for other officers to arrive as backup. Certainly, his plans all relied on being on good terms with these intruders... He would not be so foolish as to join the assault.
In fact, he rather looked down on the fools who rushed to attack. Were the Plutocracy's standards truly so low? Could idiots who did not understand this simple line of logic really afford to purchase MARINE, even if they had a use for it? Trash like this should have stayed to the alleys, or perhaps that labyrinthine maze which was formed by crate atop crate. It would be possible for even the lowliest of scum to evade their pursuers in that land... Of course, it would be impossible for them to reap any reward from this night, either.
His eyes glanced at the ship in the distance... Well, he had proven his point here. Birds die for food, and men die for money. Overstepping one's bounds would only lead to an early end... Truly unprofitable. Let the bigwigs fight for the miracle drug... From what he has seen, he has no use for it. A quirk booster, was it? But from what he saw, it's only use was in the creation of a suicide bomber. How much of it would he go through to find a safe dosage, even if he purchased it? Nor would there be a steady supply to restock as it was used. As a poison, it was too explosive... Good for sending a message, perhaps, but far too easy to track. The kind of weapon best used by zealots.
As a man motivated by profit, everything about the drug told him it was an unprofitable business. Even if he were to use it to create suicide bombers... Yes, they could certainly be effective. But which of his men would be willing to die for him? Not a one. They gathered for benefits, not for love... A fact which he used to his advantage. If he were to suddenly ask them to die for him, his organization would crumble by nightfall... And those loyal enough to actually consider this... his eyes glanced at the girl beside him... Their worth was far greater than the explosion they could cause. In short, he felt no envy over those fighting for control of the shipment.
Ah, but that should be enough time. As the support for the policeman would begin to arrive, it would prove unnecessary- Of the many rings on the man's sausage-like fingers, one would begin to glow a light turquoise... And as it did so, a similarly colored field would appear around the law enforcement agent, pushing aside any of his assailants who were unable to resist its force. A space of breathing room- And importantly, very clearly caused by the fat man himself.
Of course, if that was all it took to convince the officers of his innocence, not a single arrest would be made tonight. Trust was hard to gain, but easy to lose. "As I was saying, before being so rudely interrupted." The man continued as though the felons were nothing more than mice. "I am a simple businessman. When I received the invitation to this, why, I had not even heard of the 'Plutocracy' group which ran it. Of course, I have since learned better- But, for a group as large as this, do you really believe their big event would be so easily leaked? As soon as I understood the implications, I had reported it to your people." He grinned, even as the barrier he had created would begin to fade, the gemstone embedded in his ring cracking and turning grey.
"Please, if you do not believe me, feel free to escort me to the station. I am sure we can settle this without much fuss." He added. Given his interruption of the assault, he would surely have drawn some of the... What was that word his man kept using for it? Aggro? Yes, he surely would have drawn some of the aggro... Especially if they were to have heard any of his words. A police escort would be the perfect thing to keep him away from such rabble.
tl;dr
Wang Ba throws up a barrier to protect the policeman while backup arrives (presumably)
Claims he was their informant regarding the auction, suggests escorting him back to the station to confirm
Actual goal is to use the police escort to protect himself from the attackers, who he suspects will attack him after hearing his claim.

Pale light glimmered around clenched fingers. Artificial eyes rotated and flared to life while the three men moved into position around her. Sonya takes a step back, glancing to her left and right. No escape. If she uses her quirk now it could blow her cover. No one has associated the blackened wounds of her quirk use with some of the murders in the city and they won't have to as long as 'Sonya Chernova' does not burn someone publicly. It might be better to let them capture her for now and call for help from the police or a hero as she passes by.
Then the first one fell. Then the next. Veins, violet, bulged from taught skin. Her eyes spun fast trying to focus on the injuries on their back. The expression of their faces. Agony. Their flesh necrotizing beneath the skin. Poison, a powerful one too. She tried to force an expression of terror, better to let animal instinct show as to not arouse suspicion, but fascination was the first thing to boil to the surface. Her mind wondered how long it would take for the poison to eat away at the body and what the final remains would look like. Would they even be recognizable? Not with something that fast acting.
Before she could stop herself, she looked up at the man who approached her, a smile playing on her face. He wore a deliriously punkish outfit that clashed against her classic style in a way that made her head hurt. She looked back down at the bodies wondering what to say. So he considered himself a fan, hmm? She tilted her head and gave him a wry smile.
"Well aren't you a charmer?" She said gently, watching the stinger retract into his body. Absolutely fascinating. She wondered for a moment how it could be made even more lethal. Was it even possible? Sonya stopped at licking her lips, deciding that giving the man a hungry look was not wise. He'd be useful. So useful. Instead, she held her ground, not moving forward or away, pretending to be caught in the terror of the moment. She forced her expression to be fearful even as she spoke in a calm tone. "Lets make it convincing then. I'd prefer to keep my image as clean as possible for the public. My people will be coming up behind, ignore them, they can find their own way home or not at all," Sonya said coldly, staggering backward.
The opportunistic villain gave one more smile; "Impress me and I might tell you my name~" She said almost flirtatiously before clutching her violin to her chest and making a break for it, her eyes wide and terrified her mouth open in an unspoken scream towards the nearest spot of cover. The main bridge would be cut off for now but there were other ways to get away. The train that passed through here was an option though there was also the option of bribing or coercing a neutral party into getting them out. She could let herself be used as a hostage but that would weaken her image publicly. Running for her life was one thing, she was not a damsel.
She took a few more glances around, what else could she do? She could disguise him as one of her attendants and ask for protection from the police. No, that brought her back to the beginning of her arguments. She needed as little exposure here to heroes as possible. Guess she'd just let herself get chased toward the exit. She grabbed her phone and typed "1" twice into the messenger. Two buzzes on her associates end; he'd grab what he could and retreat. No time. They had to get out and he had to get the car ready. She just had to get to the northeast side of the main warehouse and she'd figure out what to do with her new friend...
Sonya admires her new 'ally's abilities, enticed by his skills but turned off by his sense of style; she'll do something about that later.
Sonya decides to allow her new friend to pretend to chase her as part of their escape attempt. With the heroes so busy elsewhere she decides to take advantage of the confusion.
Sonya moves to flee to her escape vehicle in the north east part of the area. She's got some ground to cover. She alerts her minion and resumes her cover as a musician.

His boots clacked on the ground just lightly as he turned his eye's that were in a sense also not his own fixating on those around him. This power and disguise proving more fruitful then he initially had expected as its young appearances seemed to cause some hesitance and reservations in his prey as it approached. He knew he couldn't stay in this are too long as he could hear the chaos not far off and didn't have to be a genius to guess this raid wasn't isolated to just this area if he had to guess. But even so,... He would still aim to claim his prize before leaving and slice through those that come between him and his desire.
When they got close enough he could only snicker, That sensation of hearing the voice passing through his lips not being his own always giving him a tingle of joy. Given the severity of the situation he knew holding back would be foolish, So he could give into his instincts and release all his pent up tensions of late more freely in the moment. "I would have though you'd have known better... Even when dealing with someone young." He'd say simply at first with a coy grin that seemed to slide up the side of his cheek.
Immediately after springing into action. The small fight would begin as he'd fully be planning on wiping out this entire squad if possible or at least planning to push them back long enough to steal the painting he wanted. The first move quick and without mercy in his attempt. This would be a entanglement of emotion for them all to enjoy passionately together.
The bare chested boy would rush to the nearest officer as soon as one was close enough. He's evil grin wide from ear to ear as darted forward trying to thrust his knife in his left hand upward trying to stab in the direction of the first officers throat and chin. Trying to shove the knife upward if it found true. If all went as planned he'd try to skewer the cop and turn the body hopefully in front of him to try and use as a shield while moving towards the others if all went as planned.
He could feel his breathing turning more intense as well. This was exhilarating almost like playing some game. He had assumed the role of some other being and faced down his enemies to try and gain his prize at the end of the level. ---- -Attempts to rush the first officer and thrust knife at throat/chin -Attempts to use same officer as a shield and approach the others -Desires to clean them out enough so he can steal what he wanted to buy.

"It's getting louder. The hell is going on on that ship?"
----
More and more people are starting to chase after the big horse figure. Why wouldn't they; some people are yelling out that those two are getting away with precious auction wars. Now granted, that wasn't why they were chasing after Centurion. The first group assumed that it was an auction worker, and that by capturing him they can get access to the stuff the auction people were hoarding. But as more and more heard their yells, that idea got twisted into thinking Centurion had himself some rare and expensive auction items. That attracted more people, causing them to rush towards him and the dock worker. Not that it would help. As some approach him, they easily get knocked back, as if they were being pushed by an intense gust of wind. The kid seems to be holding tighter as they go faster, hoping for this night to come.
As they get closer to a nearby group of officers, 4 goons have been desperately trying their best to catch up with him, with many having decided to give up their lot in this chase. The officers make themselves noticeable to Centurion, hoping that they get to see him in time. Some of them make sure to help out by firing at the goons chasing him. Once he drops off the kid, the officer will let him know of another thing to handle. "Thanks, Centurion. If you don't mind, we have ourselves something of an issue for you to handle. The people out there told us that there were more workers in aid. They said that they were positioned where the explosion was. They're currently occupied, we were hoping if you can help us out." The kid gets close to the officers, still scared but grateful to Centurion.
--- The explosion site is getting more and more active. At one end, several officers are attempting their best to get all these dock workers out of here. They managed to find 2 of them only to be confronted by a group of dissatisfied auction goings, some with noticeable quirks, while the others are brandishing very noticeable weapons. Leading them are 3 quirk users: 1 has a fire quirk, and 2 have mutations; pair of noticeable claws and the other has sword arms. Sword arms guy seems to be leading the small group. They assumed that this would be an easy job: just kill these cops, kidnap the workers and get the merch. That quickly went away the moment something smashed on the ground and the sword hands guy gets punched, with long arm man also getting attacked the moment she punched swordman, leaving the fire man to be standing there in utter confusion. Watching this were the dock workers, elated that someone is finally here to help them. The rest of the weapon wielding goons looked at her, and went towards her wanting to get some revenge for their boss.
Meanwhile, The officers trying to get these two suspicious people to talk are suddenly attacked, but their new 'guest' has done something. A field of sorts, a barrier put up by the jolly old man, who seems to be finding this order of events somewhat well. The moment he opened his mouth, there was an air of doubt. This is too obvious, why would he say this? it's just to save his own skin. But. There's something about him that's weird. [Salesman Acting pass] The man in charge checks with the people back. "Kosahi to base, we have a situation. This man claims he is an informant." The base people look confused; all of their hired informants and incognito heroes have already checked in, so who is he? They look at Virtue, who is in charge of handling the informants. Should they believe him? Should they incarcerate him? Virtue taps their mask slowly, and came with his decision. "Someone who wants to use us. Perhaps it would be kind to use him as well." He gets on the radio to tell the officer. "Take him in to the station Once there we make him say what he was here for and what he purchased. If we ask him now, then he'll abandon you." The officer seems confused, as he stares at Wang. This guy? Seriously? He stutters a bit. "..a-alright. You two. We've been told to accompany you back to the station. One wrong move, however, and you're joining them. We expect your full cooperation during this, alright?!" He yells at the duo as more people start banging on the shield.
---
Maekawa smirks as the musician suddenly changed mood. A simple lounge violinist, right? Of course she is. If she was, then he's a famous guitarist from a well known jazz band. He dusts off his hands after she steps back, having decided to remove her victim disguise for a moment. "I try my best," he hums as he looks at her, her eyes having changed shape. She's far more confident. Even the fake fear in her voice impresses him somewhat. To hold onto your disguise for far too long...she must belong to something big, something big that demands her disguise. And he wants to be involved in that. He got the jackpot. He grins evilly at her, playing up the role of a criminal wanting to capture and possibly kill a famous violinist for shits and giggles, something that she can pick up on. "My pleasure." With that, his stinger extends out of his jacket, waving slightly around him. "I'll make sure to 'accidently' strike the other people around you, while you and your friends run off. Seems reasonable, no?" With that, she runs off, him 'chasing' her as the chaos ensues. A random goon looks at a new potential victim and goes near her, with a stinger tail suddenly strikes his neck. "Damn brat, come back here!" He laughs evilly, enjoying the role he's been thrusted into.
Somewhat close to them, the police are having…'fun,' so to speak, with their new friend Dantalion. What was assumed to be a frightened young man having a mental breakdown instead became a vicious killer, aiming for the jugular. The officer got taken off guard, but managed to avoid being immediately slashed in the neck, just the chin part. Unfortunately for him, that still hurts a lot, leaving him open to be used as a human shield. Still alive, but sadly being used as a human shield, as blood is leaking out of the lower part of his chin. The officers are staring at him and carefully aiming their weapons at him. It's a standoff. Would they hurt their own comrade? They call up anyone on the radio about this. "This is Kena to all, suspect named 'Dantalion' currently in possession of fellow officer, someone please get here, we are nearby the cranes on our way back."
---- td;lr;
Tony: clear out the people around you and get to the point near Grace to help out.
Grace: Deal with the people around, cause they'e mad you took out 2 of their main quirk users in the party
Both Heroes Extra mission: consider going out of your way to help out the hostage
Wang: New Vegas your way out of this scenario [obtained 3 officers as NPC buddy]
Sonya: occasional people will now pop up to kill you, get out of there with new NPC buddy 'chasing' you
John: do something during this hostage stand off. Are they gonna shoot? Who knows?

Tony sighed as he saw that despite the blows Centaurion kept launching to keep the pursuers at bay, they proved to be annoyingly stubborn. ¡Estos muchachos son muy persistentes! But it did not matter whether it was one thug following him or a thousand. Tony refused to allow the civilian to come to any kind of harm. Centaurion was equally as determined, continuing to fire off shockwaves via punches and claps to push the thugs back as the beast continued to gallop. Though the number of pursuers were growing with the people deciding to join in on the chase, it was becoming clear that there was indeed progress being made. Some thugs were giving up the chase, while others were being pushed back, not being allowed to come close. The beast did not care how many goons there were. Centaurion would use his strength to take care of them all if necessary. While the main priority was still to get away from them, the beast would aim to knock away as many of the pursuers as possible.
It's a shame I have no ranged attacks myself, Tony thought to himself. Otherwise I could help clear some thugs out of the way.
Eventually, Tony noticed the group of officers close by. ¡Finalmente! He notified the beast. "Over there!" Nodding, Centaurion hurried over to the officers. At last, the civilian was in safe hands now! And the four goons that remained were being driven off by the officers. Tony smiled as Centaurion gently let the dock worker down from his back. "Don't be afraid. You're safe now. The officers here will escort you to safety." The beast took a moment to catch his breath, as again, not having Tony's stamina meant that Centaurion found itself a bit out of breath from all that galloping.
But the rest could not and would not last for very long. One of the officers (who was seemingly referring to Centaurion rather than Tony, much to the beast's amusement) explained that over by the explosion site were more workers in need of aid. Tony nodded. There was no need for the officer to say any more. "Of course. We'll head over there immediately. Wildheart, out!" And with that, the two were heading out once again.
Despite the beast becoming more tired by the minute, Centaurion refused to rest. Not yet. First, he needed to get Tony over there, since the man was nowhere near as fast as the summon. Time was of the essence! "I know you're tired, amigo. But please bear with it for now. I need you at full strength." The beast snorted. "As if Centaurion is ever at anything less than a hundred percent! Rest later, SMASH NOW!" Tony grinned. "That's the spirit!"
The two were moving as quickly as they could. If any goon got in the way now, Centaurion would not hesitate to punch them away. Not hard enough to be lethal, but definitely would hurt a lot. There was no playing around here. Any obstacle that got in the way needed to be removed.
Upon arriving at the scene, Tony was not surprised to see even more action. So many fights taking place now. He noticed another pro-hero was taking on some quirked goons. Perhaps Tony could lend the heroine a hand? Well unless Grace asked for the assistance, Tony would leave her be for now. He trusted that she could handle the small fries. Though if anyone was proving to be too troublesome for her, then he would definitely jump in to assist the heroine.
In the meantime, Tony scanned the area, looking for the civilians that needed saving. Once he found the dock workers, Tony would have Centaurion rush towards them. And if anyone tried to cause trouble for him or get in the way? Then he would get off of Centaurion's back and join the beast in punching them into submission.
Just hang in there for now! I'll protect you all!
tl;dr:
- Centaurion continues to drive the pursuing goons away with ranged attacks (restrained to not cause serious injury) while continuing to flee from them
- Tony finds the officers and leaves the dock worker with them
- It's Centaurion, not Centurion, reeeeee
- Despite becoming tired, the beast refuses to slow down. Still has some energy left, but will need to rest soon.
- The two make their way to the area near where Grace is
- Notices the heroine in action, but Tony doesn't intervene unless she asks him to, trusting her to handle the goons she's fighting
- Notices the civilians and heads over to them as quickly as Centaurion can
- Will fight off any thugs near the civilians if there are any

Are You... Holding Out For a Hero~?
❝ “Aw, am I spoiling your fun, boys~?” Not the sort who would have been particularly intimidated by the glowering glares that she received in response to her intervention, though the fast paced use of her powers was starting to wear on her stamina a little given the slight shortness of breath she was showing, Grace Gilbert knew better than to show weakness in front of her foes. “I’m just the sort of girl that can’t help herself when things get lively~” Expecting that she would be set upon the second that she demonstrated a little flaw or fault for them to exploit, the blonde beauty knew she had to maintain a perfect visage both in terms of her appearance and confidence, and while she knew she would soon need a chance to recover her breath and rest her quirk for a short spell, the Violet Vortex knew she had to take care of this situation before she could afford herself even a second of respite. “Oooof, seems one of you knows hot stuff well enough?” The blessings that she was afforded by her potent quirk enough to allow her a lucky escape as a mass of flame was flung right for her face by one of their irritated number, fortunately for the flying fox her reflexes and overall speed were enough for her to swing herself out of the way and prevent anything more than the tips of her bangs becoming a little bit singed by the searing strike that was sent her way. The attack she had very nearly suffered seeming to spell out this figure as her next little target, with her speed still set to maximum regardless of how ragged her breathing might become, Miss Gilbert launched herself forward in zigging and zagging path in the hopes of avoiding any further attacks before countering with her something she had lined up herself. This one could definitely be a handful if I let ‘em! The violet eyes of the vixen narrowing as she neared her target with a fist drawn back like an arrow, she made sure to do what she could get the job done when dealing with this potential pyromaniac by aiming a hard punch in his stomach using some of her quirk strength, and then following up with a hard cross afterward to really give him a nice little ‘goodnight kiss’, before spinning around to see what else she had on offer. However, she found her attention being drawn by something. “Heh, looks like the cavalry’s here, boys!” A roaring and raging mount bursting onto the scene and catching both the eye and imagination of the Violet Vortex, with a broad grin of recognition upon seeing a fellow hero Grace cocked her head and took advantage of the distraction that was created by the wonderful Wildheart to even their odds all the more by really showing off the strength that her quirk gifted her with. “Or at the very least a handsome prince to save a poor distressed damsel like me?” Smirking as she was spared a second or two to line up a nice shot using one of the crates that had been used for cover only moments before, the supposed ‘damsel’ took advantage of the potent power her quirk endowed her with to whip a wooden crate the size of a pool table across the scene in a somewhat haphazard attempt to wipe out most of the remaining forces she was up against, rushing herself just a little bit because of the limits she sensed in herself that seemed to get nearer with every second that passed. Unfortunately, this seemed no time to be taking a break. “This is Officer Nakahara, requesting aid in a hostage scenario! One of our men has been injured and taken captive by an unknown enemy!” The little moment that the heroic duo were given for union seeming to be short lived as almost immediately after a panicked voice piped up over the radio, even before Miss Gilbert had much of a chance to give her partner much of a hello and how are you it seemed their presence was being demanded elsewhere, seemingly separating them as soon as they had been drawn together. “You got this? I can shoot over there and give them a hand?” The only question seeming to be which of them would respond to the distress call first, the Violet Vortex reckoned that despite the potent speed of Wildheart and his impressive looking companion she could probably outpace him to the spot they needed to head toward by moving as the crow flies, so to speak. However, not wanting to rush off if her ally didn’t think he could ‘clean up’ here and get the requisite innocents to safety, while there was certainly a sense of urgency to their situation it was best to move with caution and sureness of mind rather than rush off like some half-cocked idiot…
TLDR - Dodges a few fire attacks from Flameo Hotman, before unleashing a hard one-two combo to knock em out.
- Uses a large wooden crate like a bowling ball to get a ‘strike’ on the remaining foes.
- Hearing of the hostage situation, Grace offers to go over there and see what she can do to help, if Antonio is OK with that.
- Grace is starting to feel a little breathless, and will need a short break soon to maintain peak performance.
