Hidden Dangers All Around Down in the Underground With the lack of a teacher and all the drama the class had suffered through, it was now time for a class meeting of sorts. Between the Kunshu Festival and the events of Semper Fi coupled with all the things that happened within the class itself, it was already a rough year for the upstart heroes. And amidst it all, class 1-A was holding it together with the best that they could. While both rivalries and friendships had been formed over the course of the school year, there had yet to be a single defining moment for the class as a whole. Each still was a part of their own groups and had their own goals. The only true commonality was their desire to become a hero and the class they ended up being in. Thus, this meeting was made. As suggested by one of the students, they needed to move forward as a class, together and grow into amazing heroes together. It was a bond that would help them excel in the future.
The plan was simple, a meetup at one of the dormitories around lunch time. It was on a day when classes weren't being held, so everyone was free to do as they liked. In fact, most of the students at Yuuei were out and about on campus or in the city of Musutafu. Class 1-A was going to be the only ones present at the dormitory building for a few hours, so it was the perfect time for them to get together without getting in anyone else's way. As for whether or not the whole class showed up was a different matter entirely. Not every student lived on campus and it was possible that would have things they rather do than go to some class meeting. So while not everyone was going to be there, it would hopefully see some good attendance.
Little did class 1-A know that something deeper was going on. Underneath their very feet, something was stirring and scheming to interrupt their meeting and cause them to band together like never before. The very earth will be their proving grounds. The sun was shining up above and a few clouds dotted the skies. It was a truly serene look, but that was coming for them wasn't in the sky, it was underground. For now, however, they were just meeting up with each other. They were asked to come however they liked and to bring what they wanted to the meetup. It was supposed to be a mostly social setting, so students were expected to come prepared as such, but there was always a few standouts that wanted to do that little bit extra. It wasn't any surprised that a few wanted to spar or fight as they had done since the beginning of school. And after the trails the class had gone through together it could have been an opportune time to reassess their standing with each other. It wasn't the real intention behind the meeting, but for some, that was all they had on their minds.

Today looked like it was going to be a good day. Sean did not have a lot to do at the moment. There were no classes today, no training to worry about, and no plans made with friends that the blue-haired boy had to remember not to miss out on. It was a free day today, and Sean wanted to make the most of it. The only questions that remained were what to do today, where to go, and who to spend time with. There were so many possibilities!
Sean then got a message on his phone. Apparently, class 1-A was to have a meeting at the dormitory around lunchtime. This was wonderful news to the boy. Sean was supportive of anything that could bring his awesome class together. He enjoyed seeing a sense of unity, camaraderie, and friendship with any group he was a part of. He really wanted that for 1-A. Everyone working together and being friendly with one another.
Making his way to the dormitory, Sean was prepared to greet everyone with his usual smile and wave of his hand. To his surprise, there was no one there to greet! Sean was surprised. He was usually never the first person to arrive at any meeting. Oh well, the others were probably on their way. He would greet everyone then. In the meantime, the boy would wait patiently. Opening the bag he carried with him, Sean took out one of his 1 liter water bottles and began to drink. Patiently waiting, Sean began to wonder who was going to show up, what the meeting would be about, what topics would be discussed, and if he should have brought more water bottles with him.

Dreams breathe life into men. The stars... I'll reach them.
There were few clouds in the sky, the sun was shining brightly and it was a day with no classes. Yet, despite all this factors that indicated a perfect day for a walk - or, in Ryuu's case, a perfect day to stay home and play videogames - the teenager was making his way to the dorms of U.A. Highschool. He actually didn't know who originally came up with the idea, but someone from the Class had arranged this meeting in order to make the class come together as one... something like that, at least. At least for Ryuusei it held true that he actually didn't know most of the members of !-A in a more personal level: Rinkusu and Yoruhi were his best friends and he also knew and liked both Sean and Jasmine but, beyond these four, Ryuusei relationships with the class were non-existent. Ryuusei Igarashi came to the meeting with the hopes of, at least, getting to know better one more person, at least. After the events of Semper Fi the boy was desperately tryiing to search for his humanity and thus felt that getting out and knowing someone new could help with that. There was, however, another big motivation: he was the Class Vice-President and wasn't sure if Rin was coming to the meeting. A meeting to develop the class without any of the Class Representatives would just look bad... not like Ryuu cared about that, of course. Since he lived at his own home, the boy wasn't very used to the layout of the dorms, but he was still able to find the indicated area of the meeting. Ryuusei was wearing a light gray t-shirt and dark gray pants, a black belt and shoes of the same color. He was also wearing a big jacket: afterall, despite the good weather of the day, it was still winter. The long jacket was black in color and had light brown fur in the hoodie and at the end of the sleeves and jacket itself. Hidden inside the jacket was his army knife which he always carried with him just in case something happened. Arriving he took out his earphones and placed them on the jacket pocket where his phone also rested. Ryuu was the second to arrive, the first being Sean - the boy he already knew a little and actually liked. There was something very pure about the kid. Ryuu was sure that Sean would be the best hero to come out Class 1-A - a big praise for someone who doesn't like heroes that much. Approaching his classmate, Ryuu extend his arm, looking for a fistbump. Yo, Sean. You're early, he said. Looking at the bag, Ryuu remembered that he forgot to bring things to eat or drink. Well... perhaps no one would notice. Notes: Ryuu's outfit!Words: 469.Tags: ---

It wasn't the thirty reminders that blared from her phone which woke Kimi but the blazing light of the sun as it shone through her slightly parted blinds. A guttural moan coursed from her dry and caked throat as she struggled against the conscious world form flooding her mind. Piled under blankets and pillows like a nesting rodent Kimi rolled onto her side longing for sleep to sweep her away once more. There in that flux between dreamland and the waking world only the constant ringing of her phone kept her from slipping away.
"What?!" In an explosion of movement pillows went scattering across the room as Kimi shot up in her bed. Angrily she snatched the vibrating phone from its resting place and read the faintly glowing screen. With the rusted gears in her mind slowly rotating it took a few moments for the words to reach her mind. "Oh... well shit." Muttering softly Kimi sighed as her head flopped against her pillow.
Hair askew and still in her silky pink pok a dot pyjamas Kimi trudged into the dormitory. Slung over one shoulder Kimi carried her purse with various hygienic supplies that she'd need to prepare herself for the day. A hair brush, travelers tooth brush, facial cleanser, eye drops, nail file, clippers, one hair ribbon, a phone, headphones and a change of clothes. Sleep still flushed in her eyes Kimi barely took notice of the two figures who had already arrived in the room. A single glance in their direction followed by a low grunt in greeting was all Kimi managed as she found the nearest couch to sit on. Having only just joined class 1-A recently Kimi hadn't gotten the chance to learning anything about her classmates let alone their names. The meeting she thought was a perfect chance to scope out the competition though why it had to be on her day off she couldn't fathom. Clearly the universe was conspiring against her.
Plopping onto the plush cushions Kimi allowed herself a deep yawn and stretch as she eased the stiffness out of her muscles. Eyes still shut to escape the suns wraith Kimi clumsily opened her purse and dug out the tooth brush she'd brought before shoving it into her mouth.
"Whose idea was this stupid meeting?" Kimi grunted to no one in particular through a mouth full of minty tooth paste.
Sliding her cracked vision over to the two figures who stood on the other side of the room Kimi pointed her finger at the tall one with the blue hair.
"Water." Kimi grunted sleepily before resuming her brushing.

Usually, Erek wouldn't attend events like this; he found them to be annoying. Why would he want to spend his time in a stuffy room filled with people he didn't care for when he could take advantage of the beautiful day and do something productive like training. Yet, instead of training Erek stood outside the class 1-A meeting area, nervously pacing.
The reason why Erek decided to attend the event was that he sought companionship. On the outside, Erek pretends that being alone didn't bother him, that friendship was beneath him. But, that was just a front, he hated the feeling of loneliness. He didn’t realize this until he had left the states to attend U.A. Until he was left alone in a world entirely different from his own.
Outside of classes, he didn’t interact with any of the other students in his class. It wasn't like he had actively avoided them or anything like that, but when he did interact with a fellow student, he never seemed to connect with them. Either his aggressive personality would scare them, or they would do something that annoyed him so he would scare them away anyways.
Of course, there were exceptions. Erek's study session with Peach and the time he accidentally joined the art club were the few times he met with his fellow students outside of school. Though Peach wasn't exactly the ideal person to hang out with, she was at least entertaining. His time at the art club, though not the worst thing he had ever done, wasn't a place where he believed that he could find people that he could connect with.
Taking a deep breath, Erek took one last peek at his phone to make sure he was at the right spot. I can't believe I'm doing this. Yet he did, summoning up all the courage within him all signs of nervous evaporated as Erek put on a mask of indifference and walked in.
It seemed like I'm the fourth to arrive, he noted as scanned the classroom. His eyes lingered on the girl for a moment, curious about why she would decide to brush her teeth at this time of day, before shifting to the other people in the room. Erek wouldn’t say anything to his classmates mainly because he didn’t know what to say; instead, he offered them each a nod of acknowledgment before making way to a spot towards the room's rear.

1-A | ◀ | The heart is a heavy burden ❤ Right dorms, that meant here left, right, confusing, turn around, walk back, another left and bam room. She stared at her phone, she had almost texted someone in her class the exact location as she had no idea how the dormitories worked and where the room was. It was not beneath her to join but she was afraid she was late as she lived outside the school grounds and had not been able to find it, her cat had been clingy, which was a wonderful thing when you were not in a hurry.
Rowan wanted to know 1-A, her main goal at first was making friends but she had given up on that idea, because it would happen, not by her own mind to push herself to be lovely and wonderful and anything like that. Something she was still doing, making pleasantries instead of saying what she thought but it also made her pathetic. Rowan was done with being pathetic. Her first meetings with people either from her class or else were idiotic, she had been an idiot, she had been a crybaby without tears. That was done, Rowan would show the world that a Sakamoto had style or something along those lines.
She thought she saw someone disappear behind the door that she was looking for and she tried to sneak peek inside before actually making her entrance. Thank god Sean was there, she stepped inside and wanted to say hello when someone simply said: water and pointed. And she thought she could be rude. She simply shrugged mentally and walked over to Sean. "Hi," she decided to say as enthusiastic as she could, looking shortly at the others in the room, the girl needed no attention after being rude but she vaguely recognized Ryuusei because he was the vice president as well as Erek, albeit she did not know his name but had she not seen him when they went to the water park? |

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Rin had simply heard that there had been called for a meeting. It was strange enough on it's own. Perhaps even stranger that the class president hadn't been told much about it beforehand either. Still, the sentiment of using some time together to iron out some of the problems that had been building over the past time was a genuinely good one. Getting to know one another equally as opportune. For now, the 1-A class president had several plans in the makings. They had been out to the water-park together, which had been a fairly enjoyable albeit short experience. They had done the bonding time over cooking at the Kunshu festival, creating pasta as a group with each class-member bringing an ingredient for the meal. Or, in the cases of some, icecream and waffles for their desert. Rin had also taken the liberty to invite them all to the music night at Honey Honey, though that little outing had probably been the biggest fiasco. As for upcoming events, Rin had seen fit to suggest a little bit of roleplaying. Establishing a place they could be in the woods, spending a weekend dressed up as orcs, elves, trolls, humans and what not. Going on some skirmishes against each other and living in a medieval world. There seemed to have been enough immediate interest among the students that she could go ahead and establish that as a happening in the future. Perhaps around Christmas, when class hours and studies weren't as imperative...Stepping out of the shower, brushing her hair, drying off and getting dressed, Rin had initially planned on taking these couple of hours to herself. Simply being lazy on the couch with some television programs and snacks. Now, instead, she felt rather obligated to show up. Lord knew that the girl was trying her best to give the class things to unite over. To give the class a way to communicate, bond, cooperate. By and large, it had functioned. In fact, there was a decent unity in the class... that being said, the teacher situation combined with the sheer amount of negative happenings, had put a severe dampener on everything. Rin wasn't sure how many more substitute teachers she could convince most of the class to listen to. They really, really, really needed a solid homeroom teacher, yesterday...Arriving on scene, with freshly brushed wet hair hanging over her shoulders, she rose a hand to greet the people already there. "Hello~ ... Uh, sorry, I am just a bit curious. Who of you decided it'd be a great time for a meeting?... Normally I'd like to at least be briefed, so we can make the meeting at a time where most people can participate. Having a unity thing, discussion, talk... It only really works if everyone can participate." Finding herself a place to sit, Rin let out a soft sigh. This really was a strange gathering, under strange circumstances.

I see you through the flood See you through the fire See you through the storms-a-raging
❧ Yoru tried everything in his power to make his day off interesting. He played games, he bothered a few students who were getting out of U.A. grounds, he run around the city early in the morning, he even went to the store to get daily necessities, but he just couldn’t settle to do one thing and chase away his boredom at all. It was still too early when he sat down on his bed, troubled what to do for the rest of the day. He will die of boredom at this rate! A teacher will find his dried up body the next day when he doesn’t show up for class, and there will be a note next to him, written with shaky letters: “Victim of a slow day.”
He resigned himself to accept his fate and wash his laundry to pass the time when his phone beeped, notifying him of a class gathering that he forgot, but now welcomed like the messiah. After dressing himself in a clean black t-shirt and matching track pants, he grabbed two packs of potato chips he got from the store that morning, and headed down the halls. He wasn’t the first to arrive by far. All of the faces were reassuringly familiar, but two of them lifted Yoru’s mood more than any of them could. He always expected their class president and vice president to show up at gatherings, and he wasn’t let down this time either. “Hey everyone!” He called out, his ever-present scowl somewhat contradicting his slightly friendlier tone. Messy brown hair and vibrant orange eyes showed the delinquent energy he almost literally radiated even during class. Ryuu and Rin at least knew that it was natural of him, and he meant no harm with that pseudo-glare he wore as a default.
He bee-lined to where Ryuu positioned himself and dropped the packs of chips on the table before raising both his arms for a fist-bump for Ryuu and Sean respectively. Ryuu was his best friend, and deserved no less, and Sean was a cool guy despite being a water user, his exact demise. Opening one of the chips, he held it out for the boys before sidestepping over to Rin and offering some to their class president as well. He would, of course, hold it out for everyone else around after he took his own piece and munched it without a care in the world.
Rin’s question was a surprise, as he assumed only she would set up a class meeting, but her inquiry proved otherwise. “Wasn’t me.” He shook his head. He didn’t even remember the meeting, he was only here because his phone saved him with a ping from boredom. He looked around in the room from one face to another, tilting his head to the side curiously. “Wait, no one knows who arranged this?”

Kanna might argue that Military event hadn't changed much in her life, and while it indeed failed to radically alter her world view, she'de defenitely taken something out of it. So the army wanted all the Quirkers dead or weaponized to suit their purposes. Even if many in the military might disargee with this, the top brass most certaily didnt. Kanna might have thought her opinion of the army couldn't get much lower, but that plot of their defenitely did the job... And if a timeless institution like the military was actively out to get them, just who could Quirkers trust, as they came out from under the shadows and into the light? When put like that, Kanna weighed her options and felt tempted to simply go under the radar, user her Quirk in secret as she'd done so many times before... But even if she saw the logic in that course of action, she just couldn't. She'd indeed taken something out of this military adventure, something she didn't truly realize or even want.
Bonds. Though not yet at a point where she'd openly and consistently acknowledge may of her classmates and fellow students - and even one among the faculty - as her friends, deep down she already saw them as such, and even with her dislike for school gatherings and usual detachment from most of her class, she ultimately decided to show her face. Rowan's urging defenitely helped, and indeed, no matter what they decided to discuss in this meeting, the blonde would at least advise against doing anything stupid. "What up...?", greeted Kanna with a lazy wave, sparing everyone little more than a cursory glance until her eyes fell on her neighbour Rowan, who she'd approach and lean on the wall next to her, crossing her arms and addressing her, "Don't look like I missed much yet." Despite the last rainy couple days, the weather today seemed a bit more agreeable, though judging by the heavier red coat Kanna had on, she obviously didn't believe it would last much longer... Hopefully they could get this over with and she'd get back home before that happened

Jasmine had been a little late waking up. Her day had been a rather sore one as she had done an excruciating amount of training before it was time to meet up, her muscles still aching from all the punishment she'd put them through. Rin had tried to wake the blonde lioness up from her nap and Jasmine had sworn she had woken up, but... but. Alarm clocks were a bitch, and for once in her life Rin actually believed Jasmine's yeah, I'm waking up. I'll be there soon! as she left, leaving the lioness groggy in bed.
Fast forward ten or so minutes and Jaz was rushing through her rituals, a plethora of swear words too NSFW to be put into writing escaping her mouth in rapid succession. It didn't take her too long, but she'd managed to properly brush her hair so it didn't look like an utter mess and slip into some sweats and a tank top. Good enough, it was a casual meeting anyway. She didn't even bother wearing any type of shoes, preferring to go barefoot with a pair of slippers on.
Heading out of her room, Jasmine hefted a heavy yawn as she rubbed the back of her head, practically sleepwalking along the halls. For the life of her she didn't know who had hosted this thing - certainly wasn't Rin; the girl would've filled the blonde in had she done anything like it. She shrugged to herself; honestly the teenager still hadn't woken up enough to give too much of a damn. What was most important that she showed up. Showed up and didn't fuck anything up, that is.
Still yawning, a soft purr escaping her as she approached the gathering crowd of students, Jasmine peered over Rin's shoulder, using the little Raven's shoulder as support, "Mornin'," she said, eyes half-closed, "Y'all go about your business. Lemme know if you need me. Otherwise Imma continue my nap~"

Post by Relena Tsuruya on Nov 26, 2018 21:15:39 GMT -4
Relena was the new girl in class 1-A and as such she had no connection to any of the other students that she shared a room with. They all knew each other while she felt like an outcast, head down and minding her own business. She had spent most of her life relying on her own quirk to get by and only the teachings of her uncle to calm her.
But this was different. This was Yuuei and if she wanted to get through this, then she would have to learn to interact with others. It was a scary task that was wholly out of her comfort zone, but she needed to make friends with at least one of them...right? Despite having a cell phone, Relena hadn't been given the chance to exchange numbers with anyone, so it was pointless to think about.
At the early hours of the morning, Relena was already dressed in a pressed white collar shirt and neat dark blue skirt. She opted to take her bokken with her, despite the fact that this was only a simple meeting. Yeah, a simple meeting that she was most likely not invited to...
Letting in a deep breath and then exhaling slowly, Relena made her way to the meeting location over by the dormitory. It was a day off for the school, but she would have spent it either in the library studying or further going through her Kenjutsu routines. Lord knows she could have used the stress relief.
As she arrived at the spot that she overheard about, there was already a gathering of 1-A students who were milling about and speaking amongst each other. She quickly walked through the door with her head down, feeling her heart beating faster and faster. She didn't know if she would faint, throw up, or do both...how embarrassing.
Relena didn't know any of these people and she couldn't help but feel that, when they notice her, that they would cast her out. Like she wasn't a part of the team or something. An outcast who didn't belong. So she just stood off to the side with her face gaunt, anxiously chewing at the side of her cheek as the others greeted one another.
There was one thing for certain though, judging from what they all were saying. None of them knew who had called this meeting, which seemed quite suspect to Relena. Too bad she was way too shaken up to process her thoughts at the moment.
Oh, what am I doing here? She thought nervously to herself.

Hidden Dangers All Around Down in the Underground As the students of class 1-A gathered, everything seemed normal. They were having a class meeting and were trying to figure out who put together the whole thing. It seemed as though the ones in charge of the class didn't do it. Their teacher was absent and did not ask for the meeting either. It was an odd mystery that should have set off a number of alarm bells in the heads of the students that arrived. Unfortunately, there wouldn't be too much time to deliberate as things quickly went south after the new class arrival, Relena, had entered the building. And some were happy to see their friends and others were too tired to even take part, the students gathered there were about to be thrust into danger once again. Not from the government or some crazed quriekd fanatic wanting to see chaos, but the ground underneath their feet. Many quirks existed in the world and many people had many different goals with them. And sometimes, the most innocent of goals led to the most destructive of events.
There was a small rumble, almost as if there was a short earthquake. A quick jut of the ground that was hard to miss but easy to forget. It was one of those sudden things that a person wasn't sure they just experienced. A quake like that couldn't have been real without something to follow it up. And after a small pause, the answer was going to be given to them. In what seemed nearly biblical, the light shining through the windows of the dormitory building started to disappear. Darkness rose from the ground as the windows quickly became covered. Before the students could understand what was happening, the entire building was engulfed. But it wasn't something raising to cover the building. The structure had fallen, foundation and all into the ground. It was being lowered into the earth and the spot where the building used to be was replaced with a clear patch of dirt as if it was never there in the first place.
The fall itself was gradual, almost as if they weren't moving at all. The only way to really tell was to observe the dirt moving upward at the windows. And despite the earthshaking events happening, there would be no damage to the building. It's slow fall and smooth movements almost seemed like there was care being made to not damage the building. It took a few minutes, but the drop eventually stopped. The building finally settled and the area around the dormitory was actually not as dark as one would expect. A number of things were odd and misplaced despite the building being completely underground. But the most important things to note were the fact that the ground above the building had completely covered them up only a few feet above the roof. There was a small space for movement around the building for the students to exit and see what happened from out of the front door.
As for the majority oddities, there were quite a few. Firstly, breathing had not become any harder. It was easy to worry about being smothered and losing air from being under the ground, but for some odd reason, this was not the case now. The air was plentiful and easily breathable. The second thing was the line. Line around the newly formed cavern they were in were small crystals jutting out from the dirt. They shined with an orange hue that lit up the area around the building. It'd give the students a chance to see what as around them in what should have been complete darkness. And the final mystery were the tunnels that lead to the entrance of the building. There were six of them. Of the six, four of there were lit by the crystals and each seemed to lead in a different direction. They had smooth dirt walls and seemed to be well taken care off. The fifth tunnel was the same and just lacked the lighting the others had. And finally, the sixth tunnel was completely rough and unstable. It had no lighting and seemed to just be a hole in the wall.
At this point, it was up to the students to decide what they wanted to do. Due to the fall of the building and how deep they were underground, communication just wasn't going to be possible with the outside world unless they found some way back up to the surface. There were enough snacks and junk littered around the building to last them a few days, but it was far from a permanent solution. The fact that they had air and light meant that there could be another way to the surface, but it was up to them to decide how they were going to proceed and with who they were going to do it with, if at all.

Prelude [The Underground Arc]
|
words: 549. tag: @username. notes: Oh boy! Let's see where this will go!
|
Sean may have been the first one to arrive, but he did not need to worry about being alone for long. Pretty soon, more and more of his fellow classmates began to show up. The blue-haired boy made sure to greet everyone who arrived, whether they returned his greeting or not. That was just the way he was.
Ryuusei greeted Sean and stated that he arrived early. "Yo Ryuu! Yeah, I'm surprised too. I'm usually never this early to anything!" Next to address the boy was Kimiko, one of the more recent additions to class 1-A. However, it was not a greeting she gave him, but rather a request for water. Sean usually liked keeping some bottles on him in case he needed it for his quirk, but he was not the type of person who would refuse to share. Besides, all he really needed were one or two bottles. He had extra to spare, so he did not mind at all. "Sure thing! Here you go!" Opening his bag, he took out one of his 1 liter water bottles and handed it over to the girl. Not counting the one he was already drinking from, he now had two bottles left.
Erek was the next student to show up. After greeting him, Sean saw Rowan come in and greeted her as well. "Hey Rowan! How's it going?" Sean then saw Rin, Yoruhi, Kanna, Jasmine, and another new 1-A student arrive. Sean made sure to greet everyone, including Relena. After all, Sean was not the type of person to exclude anyone.
Once everyone had arrived, Sean was ready to get this meeting started. But first, he wanted to know what the meeting was about, and who called the meeting to begin with. Before he had the chance to ask, however, it became immediately clear from the words of some of the other students that no one really had any answers. How strange!
The boy did not have too much time to ponder on that thought, however. Quickly and from seemingly out of nowhere, the ground itself began to rumble slightly. Sean was confused. What was happening? Suddenly, the lights seemingly vanished, leaving the entire room in darkness. Going from confused to concerned, Sean looked towards the windows. What happened to the light? Sean did his best not to panic, or at least not let it show too much, as he addressed the others. "What on earth is happening?"
After a few minutes, there was a small bit of light. It was just enough for Sean to be able to see. So many questions were swimming around in the boy's head. However, Sean doubted that he would get answers. Not without searching for them on his own.
Opening the door, Sean was shocked at what he saw. They were no longer at the grounds of UA. Instead, Sean saw several tunnels. Looking up, Sean did not see the blue sky above him. Where was he? How was the building moved? And where? After looking around for a bit, Sean finally put two and two together as he came to a conclusion. They were all underground!
Sean looked to the others, the confusion and uncertainty clearly written all over his face. "So, what do we do now? Anyone got any ideas?"

Dreams breathe life into men. The stars... I'll reach them.
Well, there’s a first time for everything, Ryuusei replied to Sean, who had said that it was very surprising seeing himself as the first to arrive. Right after this interaction a new person arrived. She was very little and had grey eyes. She was also still wearing her pajamas and had her toothbrush in her mouth. Being the Class Vice-President, Ryuu knew that two new girls had joined Class 1-A recently: one was named Kimiko and the other Relena, by what he was told. However, the boy had no idea which one was which. This one seemed to have an aggressive edge to her. Sean, being true to himself, didn’t notice or didn’t care about that at all and cheerfully gave the girl the water bottle that she had asked for - or rather demanded. As he did so Ryuusei responded to the girl’s previous question. I’m guessing that it was Rinkusu. It’s what makes the most sense, he said while not even looking at her. It was then that yet another person entered the common area they were at. Contrasting to the previous arrival, this one was a male and taller than Ryuusei - even if not by much. It was Erek Blackfyre. Yeah, Ryuusei remembered him due to the super uncommon name. Ryuusei was pretty sure that he had never heard the black haired teen speak. As Erek nodded to him, Ryuusei nodded back to him, acknowledging his arrival. Rowan Sakamoto appeared to have arrived pretty much at the same time as Erek or perhaps even earlier without Ryuusei noticing. Ryuu didn’t remember ever talking to the girl, so he did not know much about her. Despite that, he obviously said “Hello” back to her once she said “Hi” in a rather happy manner. After Rowan it took some time for another person arrive, even if not much. However, that time was enough to let Ryuusei think for a little while Sean drank his water, Kimiko brushed her teeth and everyone else found their place in the room. What Ryuusei was thinking about was what he had previously said to the girl in pajamas. Thinking about it… - Ryuusei was leaning on a chair near Sean - … if Rin was the one to call for this meeting she would’ve said something to me. That’s weird...It was then that Yoruhi arrived, which allowed Ryuusei to stop thinking about the feeling of something not being right. You’re late, Ryuusei joked as he fist-bumped Yoru, also not being shy to not take a chip out of the bag as soon as he had the chance. It was at that moment that Ryuusei saw Rin in the room. Her presence made him relax. She probably had just forgotten to say something to him about the meeting. With Jasmine being a sleepy-zombie on Rinkusu’s shoulder, everything seemed just about right. Good morning to both of you, Ryuusei said to Jasmine and Rin. Behind the couple Ryuusei also noted the presence of Kanna and another girl, who probably was the other new member of the Class. Yes, everything seemed fine and the meeting should be almost starting. Rin would give one of her speeches, clearly pointing out the objectives of the meeting and the reason why she called for it. But once she spoke… Wait, you weren’t the one that called for the meeting? he asked to Rinkusu while maintaining his calm tone while Yoru said that he also wasn’t the one to call for it. It wasn’t me neither, he replied to his best friend, who was quick to ask to ask the obvious question to everyone: “Wait, no one knows who arranged this?”Ryuusei looked around for a bit, looking at everyone, but no one seemed to step forward. How on hell did no one from Class 1-A called a meeting for Class 1-A? That didn’t make any sense at all. Before any more progress on solving this mystery could be made, something big began happening. It looked like a small earthquake. Ryuusei only looked at the floor when it happened, almost to make sure that what he sensed was real. It was Sean’s remark that made Ryuu move his eyes up once more. The room was much darker, the windows covered. The movement of the building felt like a really safe elevator going down slowly and carefully. Then it stopped, like if nothing had happened. The darkness now substituted by weak light. What the hell was this? Sean was the first running to the door, trying to make sense of all of that. Opening the main door a series of tunnels were revealed, as well as dirt and some glowing orange crystals. By Sean’s reaction, he had probably reached the same conclusion as Ryuu and, probably, everyone else: the environment they were in, the dirt, the sense of the small earthquake and of the building going down… somehow, someway, they were all underground. Besides Sean, Ryuusei was the first one to approach the now opened front door. Taking deep breaths, his first worry disappeared. There’s plenty of air here, somehow… Oxygen shouldn’t be a problem, he said both to himself and to everyone. Due to his Quirk, Ryuusei had much more sensible lungs than everyone else - if breathing was harder, he would surely have noticed. Ryuu then looked at his cellphone. No reception. Communication with the outside being impossible, he started to check the entrance of all tunnels by himself. The first four were well lit by the crystals, the fifth was completely dark and the sixth seemed both dark and unstable. He returned to Sean and everyone else. I think our best option is to form groups and explore the tunnels - Ryuusei was talking to everyone, despite his voice being far from potent and still being cold as always - We can’t just stand here and wait for help that might not come. Besides that, being able to breathe properly right now means that air has to be coming from somewhere and our best bet is one of the tunnels. He paused and started scratching his hair, a facial expression of someone who was frustrated about having to put effort into something. We are ten and there are six tunnels. That means that we can’t all pair up, since despite it being the best option it also means that one tunnel would have no one exploring it. Because of that the next best option is having eight of us form pairs, each pair going into one of the tunnels. That would leave both two people and two tunnels left. He walked towards Yoruhi, picked up another potato chip and ate it. Ryuu then continued to talk. Jasmine and Rin are by far the strongest here, so they should be the ones going solo. I would suggest for Jaz to go on the sixth one - Ryuu wouldn’t say the reason, since he knew that the blonde girl was capable enough of figuring out the reason behind Ryuu’s words - Me and Yoru can go into the fifth one, if no one is opposed to it, he said, also giving no reason for this choice as he thought it to be obvious. It was funny. Ryuusei thought about something to do quickly and, due to his natural voice tone and unconsciously having taken the first step to organize the group, probably looked like an asshole to someone who didn’t know him. However, he had no problem in admitting that he was far from being the strongest in Class 1-A and choosing to be one of the people put into pairs. He took another potato chip and ate it. Someone has a better idea?, he finished. He didn't voice this, but there was something else bothering him: who had casued all of this to happen? And... was that person - or group - in one of those tunnels waiting for them? Even if that was the case, Ryuusei firmly believed that going through the tunnels was the best option. As she'd expected the blue haired student was more than willing to share his limited supply of water with her. Though Kimi was rather accustomed to getting things she requested it was the kind nature of the boy more than anything that responded to her guttural command. Finding it difficult to keep herself awake let alone sitting up right Kimi grunted in response as she took the water filled plastic bottle from him. The tone might have implied some level of thanks but between her minty filled mouth and lack of being awake only Kimi would ever know the truth.
With what little grace that her sleep filled state could offer Kimi fumbled lazily with the bottles lid and after a few unsuccessful attempts she managed to pry it open with a satisfying snap. Taking a small swig in her mouth Kimi swashed around the now stinging coolness that enveloped her mouth. After a few moments of swashing the liquid in her mouth a sudden realization filled Kimi's mind; she had no sink to spit out the swill in her mouth. Glancing at her surroundings and seeing nothing which would be a suitable contain Kimi gave a resounding shrug of her shoulders. Not particular caring if any saw or cared Kimi bent at the waist and simply spat the contents of her mouth onto the floor. Landing with a wet splash the minty half spit, half water soaked into the carpet leaving behind a dark yet minty stain.
"Better." Kimi mused to herself now that her mouth no held taint of morning breath.
Feeling a tad more refreshed and awake Kimi took a few moments to fully soak in the room. While her mind had been preoccupied waking up the room and begun to fill with her various classmate. Out of the hand full who had arrived Kimi could recognize only two at first glance. Relena, who was her dorm mate; a person which Kimi could actually tolerate being in her company for more than few minutes. Then there was Rin; Kimi's next door neighbor. Aside from them the room was filled with people she considered nearly strangers. Of course Kimi hadn't made much of an attempt to get to know any of her class mates. For a passing moment Kimi thought to flag down Relena but then thought better of it as she saw the girls face. Pale, and nearly on the point of shaking the girl always seemed to be ready to break down at a moments notice much like an old car. Not really in the mood to socialize or to comfort Kimi let the idea slip away; Relena was a big girl she'd be fine on her own.
Taking in the odd conversations that popped up with the room Kimi quickly pieced together that no one could pinpoint just who had called this meeting together. Ideally it would have been the class president or their VP but even they seemed to be at odds. Clearly either someone in the class was pulling an idiotic prank or the master behind this had yet to show their face. Feeling a growing suspicion at this thought Kimi jumped in her seat when a tremor shook the buildings foundation. Had it not been for the fact that others took notice of the quake Kimi would have thought it was merely her imagination. As the light began to dim from the room any doubts that rested within were quickly eradicated in a shuddering wave. Snapping her head towards the windows Kimi saw where once a gloomy morning shown through their glass it was now replaced with cold, wet earth as the building sunk lower and lower into the Earths crust. Normally this would have been cause enough for most people to panic but at this point Kimi was having enough difficulty processing what was happening.
Some time passed before the quaking and shifting of earth subsided and an audible silence filled the air. It was the blue haired character which Kimi had asked for water who first broke the silence. She wasn't quite sure if he used the word "earth" on purpose but if so they intended pun wasn't warranted in their current predicament. From what could be seen outside their boxed view the whole building which they resided in had sunk into the Earths depths. There was certainly many questions that bogged Kimi's mind at the moment and many more concerns. Depending on just how the building had fallen they could be in serious danger even with their quirks.
"No need to panic yet...." Kimi reassured herself though her pounding heart begged to differ.
A sudden burst of activity followed as the blue hair male tore from the room and towards the buildings exterior doors. Uncertain, and not wanting to be left alone Kimi followed the pack as they raced to assess their surroundings. Tearing through the outside doors the group was greeted with the vast cavern which the building was now nestled in. Normally this deep under ground and without any artificial means of producing light they would have been completely blinded. However, resting in the far corners of the cavern strange crystalline structures emitted an orange glow which illuminated the surrounding area.
"Let's slow our roll there." Kimi responded to the one she believed to be called Ryuuse.
"I don't think this is something we can just rush into. First off a whole building has just fallen into the earth and it wasn't an accident. Earth just doesn't shift like that nor does it perfectly close up without so much as a seam." Kimi noted as she pointed towards the ceiling where the caverns top had been restored just feet away from the buildings top.
"Not only that but having breathable air, fair temperature, and no pressure change doesn't make sense. Normally our ears would have popped and the air would be thin if there was any at all. So either this is some kind of elaborate training exercise or we are dealing with something more sinister. If the latter is the case then we need to approach this with extreme cation." Kimi explained as she took in the surrounding cave tunnels.
"A whole building has gone missing I think people are going to take notice of that. So unless this isn't a training exercise then someone is going to send a recuse team. And if this is a real threat... then we need to take stock of what supplies we have and ration them out. Water, food, and even medical supplies if we have then. Who knows how long we might down here for." Allowing herself a moment to take a breath Kimi would resume.
"On top of all that no one should be going alone regardless of how strong they are. If, god forbid, there is something sinister behind this we should stay in groups of at least two... maybe three to be safe. A single target is easy to take out especially in unknown terrain. Not to mention this place might not be as stable as it looks." Glancing at the rather unstable looking tunnels Kimi would continue.
"If a cave in where to happen and someone was out there on their own they might be trapped down here without anyone knowing just where they ended up.... however the idea of exploring the caves isn't a terrible one but I do believe a group should stay behind. If this is a genuine threat then those that stay behind can direct the recuse teams to the tunnels which are being explored and assess them of the situation." Allowing herself a deep breath her attention would return to the others.
"For the time being we should treat this as a real threat and act accordingly; not rushing straight into the maw of the lurking beast." Kimi noted with a condescending tone towards Ryuusei.
"It's might also be a good idea to go over our quirks quickly. Strengths, weaknesses; all that jazz." Kimi noted with a shrug.
"Of course those are my thoughts. Be great to hear what everyone else thinks before deciding on a plan." Panning her eyes she would take in the reactions of the other students.
Having only been a part of the class for a short time she wasn't exactly sure what their responses might be. Not one to hold back her opinions she laid out the facts as they currently stood. Then again, out of everyone in the class she was probably the youngest and therefore the least experience when it came to matters like these. While Kimi might not have been the strongest in the class by a long shot she did have the mental fortitude to plan out their best means for survival. However, someone out there might have a better idea than her own and she was willing to listen if it got her out of there in one piece.
