Mia smirked a little as she leaned deeper into the corner of the back seat’s couch like nature. She should probably put her seatbelt on and sit still but she was suffering a hell of an injury and… besides. What was a car crash gonna do to her? Kill her? Nah. Few nips and scrapes at best. She rolled back her shoulders, glad that no one beyond the driver was here to see the pained look that caused. Seemed Feng was wanting to offer a chance to call on her if things got rough, a light chuckle coming through Mia’s cut up throat.
“Ah I wouldn’t worry too much… I got a few leads on their leader. Odds are once he goes down these rage monsters won’t be organized enough to keep everything going but… well we’ll see.” Muramasa did very much look like the brains of the operation. As much as he had his wackjob rage philosophy, he had the charisma and the keen mind to lead a bunch of drugged up rebels into doing something a little more than that. He knew who he could use well, and who he could just point and aim like a weapon. Seemed like they’d taken out one of his keener soldiers today but… well, they’d have to see how things went on that front.
“I appreciate it though… I’ll get cracking with the paperwork once Nimue or that candy girl sees to me… then we’ll see about organizing our next trip out. We’re nearing the school so I’ll see ya later aye?”
Mia gave enough of a chance for them each to say their goodbyes before cutting the line. She was still a few blocks away from the school, but the pain of speaking had genuinely been getting to her a bit, wincing as she rubbed at her throat to try and soothe it… quickly realizing that wasn’t the best idea.
