“Redhorn was not in good shape”, was the immediate thought in Fengs head as she saw her mentor cough up red chunks of ice out without even flinching. Her limited medical knowledge aside, she needs to make sure she doesn't become frozen solid again. It wasn't exactly pretty to look at in real time and she was pretty pale but she seemed alright for the most part.A younger her would have freaked out at the image but the blue haired heroine knows the general deal with villains and how they act in situations like this. She heard the words she wanted to hear as she defrosted her some more as the nod was more than enough to give her the go ahead that this was her fight. Only confirmation she can give was a thumbs up in response as she stood up against the iceman
Her attention then turned to Ice Coldman who was standing menacingly a fair feet away as she used her quirk to warm up Mia a bit as she felt the icy stare of a man who was denied his target on her. In a glance, she can size up that the man was on something that is similar to the ragers a few months back and he was someone of particular skill. The ice gauntlets give away his quirk and fighting style and she knows who he is aiming for.
There was a moment of silence as they both stared each other down but it seems like Red horn words set him off as he was the one to make the first move. Her eyes glowed bright once again as she could see his trick as soon as he threw his punch and a rush of ice was coming along the ground. It was a dirty tactic but its effective for close range fighters like herself and Mia. However, that isnt always the case as was not phased by this first move. Despite his boxer stance, he lacked any real finesse with the wild haymaker he threw. However the ice gauntlets pose an issue as she can't exactly melt through them quickly and she can take a few bets that they are as solid as they look if the bruised hero behind her had anything to show for it.
Feng activated her quirk as the flames began to burn brilliantly as she simply hopped backwards to avoid the surge of ice that was going for her foot and got some distance between her and his ice covered fists. A smile appeared on her face as she reactivated her quirk once again mid air to redirect motion forward and swiftly aimed a burning three point kick to the skull of the ice man who jumped at her and aimed to knock him backwards. He wasn't guarding his face very well and he assumed that she was a more grounded fighter and that was his first mistake.
No matter the result of that, she slowly started to turn up the heat as the ice around her began to melt a bit quicker as she shook herself a bit to wake herself up. He was aiming for Mia and it was time for her speciality to take center stage as she began to smirk a bit as she looked at jack frost.
“I knew I should've brought along a coat with me today, I didn't know I was coming up against a walking ice machine.” She opened up as she cracked her knuckles.” I'm just going to assume your boxing skill is pretty shit if you’re using this much ice on a fight like this. Should I give you a handicap and hot use my hands or are you going to keep freezing up the place?”

Mia shifted away to the side, trying to stay close to the action so that Feng’s heat could continue to melt away at the ice coating her arms but not wanting to get in the way while she wasn’t in a fit state to fight. She’d step in if she needed to but for now this seemed like it was solidly Feng’s fight now and she wasn’t about to steal the glory by throwing herself in the middle of things. Mohammed ice-lee as Mia would now dub the guy in her head rushed forward with the intent to put Feng on the backfoot and it seemed to work for a moment. His desires to slam a fist into her gut shifted as Mia was opened up as a target, turning on a sharp angle to rush for the blonde just as Feng re-directed herself midair, his wide eyes shifting to her again and unable to raise his guard in time, groaning in a hissing pain as the imprint of Feng’s fiery footwear was left on his head. He fell into a backroll, but a purposeful one, rising to his feet the moment they hit the ground again, breathing heavily as he raised his icy fists to his face, in part to cool the burning pain against his bare skin there.
“Fucking…!” He cursed under his breath, but the unbridled rage caused by his boss’s drug just wasn’t there anymore, a deep sigh leaving him as he tried to keep up his momentum. She wanted to be his new opponent? Fine! But he wasn’t about to go easy on some fucking kid! He lowered his fists but maintained a tight guard, taking this far more seriously than he had a moment ago. “And what, you need those fire balls and shit! Don’t think you can bait me into giving you the advantage kid! I ain’t some dum mug!”
“I think that’s exactly what you are challenging this kid to a fight.~” Mia chimed in with a cheeky smirk, swallowing back a mouthful of blood so as not to show any further weakness.
The icey thug grit his teeth, seething with anger but nothing compared to the drug fuelled version of moments ago. All the same he rushed in again, but this time kept his guard high. His icey gauntlets suddenly seemed to become more dense, more streamlined, the tips turning into sharp icicles as he may have subtly fallen into Feng’s baiting. Rather than setting her up with a strike of ice he closed the distance on his own, surprisingly quick for a beefy guy like him, he came in with some rapid fire jabs from the right before following with a left hook, taking quick steps to close the distance if need be and keeping up on the offensive while holding a tight guard around his upper chest with whichever fist he was holding back, another right hook as he closed the distance, he followed it’s momentum, spinning on the swing and trying to strike across the side of Feng’s head with the backend of his heel, a dense layer of sharpened ice coating it in the process.

Hehehehe now that's more like it!
Feng remarked as she landed on her feet with the swiftness of a cat as she saw the thug react pretty well to her kick. He seems pretty durable since her kicks are pretty tough so she may have to get a bit more serious if she wants to get out of this with minor injuries. A taunt was all she needed really to divert attention from Redhorn. Though melting the ice and keeping this guy busy is going to be easier said than done since he seems pretty miffed about her comments. Adding on salt to the wound was Mia's ever tasteful jab at the man and that tipped him over the edge.
A quick handwave is all she did as she saw the thugs rush of blows came her way. The man's stance was well trained as she can see his guard was up and his focus was trained on her now. His gauntlets became a more familiar shape that seemed more intent on being more upfront in his attacks. Her eyes can see his movements rather quickly as she narrowly dodged the jabs coming from his right fist as she dodged under the left hook that came her way. The rush was relentless but she managed as she dodged a punch from him and blocked the heel kick that was aimed for her head, the spike only nearly hitting its mark. She remained unphased as her eyes began to glow.
He stayed on the offensive and was doing a rather good job at it. However her eyes became a deciding factor as she can see the subtle changes in his movements as he rushed her down. Staying in using his strikes momentum and doing the smart thing of varying up his strikes. But if she were more green, she would have taken various strikes dead on without resistance but she was more than prepared for an opponent like this. He was an in-fighter who uses his quirk to supplement his attacks...the type of fighter she is familiar with!
“That was pretty good, Frosty! “, She said with a smile on her face. “But now it's my turn! "Feng in a blur aimed a high speed kick at the man's stomach as it was left unguarded. If the first hit landed or not, she would follow up with her own assault of kicks and strikes aimed at various parts of his body. Slowly building up momentum and raising the temperature bit by bit with her quirk. But her strikes were more varied as her movements were made to confuse the opponent and trick the opponent. Kicks aimed at his legs or his side, hands strikes aimed at his chest or face, it was the culmination of all of her hard work put into effect as she made no waste in her movements as she slowly wanted to use one of her other cards up her sleeve. But it's going to take a bit as she needs the place to be a bit hotter than usual but the ice makes that real hard.
At the end of her assault, she aimed a burning front kick at the chest of the man. Intent on taking him down a few notches.
"Just going to take a wild guess and assume you're either a pit fighter or a muscle for higher because those movements seem pretty trained"

With Feng dipping and sweeping around his blows his natural anger was almost building to meet the drug induced rage he’d been in a moment ago. In truth there was still a mile of difference between them but from the headache this bitch was giving him he felt it may as well have been the same. He was trying his hardest to land a hit on her and the moment his guard shifted she took advantage of it with a sharp kick of her own. He dug in his heels and skidded back, but the blow clearly winded him for a moment, taking a kick from the flurry before managing to lift his guard.
The ice on the back of his arms fanned out, fusing together like a shield and forming a barrier of ice between them, dense enough to take the attacks but clear and fresh enough for him to see through, if a little blurred and distorted, managing to shift the shield guard semi accurately to absorb the attacks, gritting his teeth as he tried to hold the defensive and not eat anymore cheap shots. The final kick, trying for his chest, was eaten by the shield, shattering it in the process and forcing him onto the back foot, nearly falling to his knees.
“Heh… how’d ya guess? One of the champions of good ol’ Muramasa’s coliseum!” He cheered himself almost, opening his arms up with a bit of a swagger. The breaking of his shield briefly left them devoid of ice before a dense layer started to reform across his arms like gauntlets once again, hopping in place. “How about you?! They teach all those fancy tricks just at UA?” He… had to admit, a challenge like this? He was kind of getting into it. In Muramasa’s pit he was basically fighting against monsters who all wanted to let loose like animals, himself included. A bit of banter without being drugged up? He had to suppress the twist of a smile at his cheeks. Mia barely managed to notice, just scoffing and chuckling from her thawing position.
She glanced across to Feng, shooting her a smirk in turn. “You gonna keep playing with him? Thought one of you UA kids coulda handled him in a heartbeat.”
And the joy he was getting from this quickly faded. Mia knew if it looked like the criminal was having fun with this the media was gonna spin it some shitting way or another and she wasn’t gonna put that on Feng in one of her first ‘real’ outings with the girl since the internship fire. The ice guy rushed in again, he went for a right hook, but purposely ice curled around from his side, around Feng’s back and up around her other side, effectively trying to box in the mobile heroine before unleashing a barrage of blows on her with grit teeth, much faster than the last time, his ice gauntlets were lighter and less heavy to help accommodate for his desire for speed.

Seems like her guess as correct when she said that she was fighting a pit fighter of sorts. Though the champion of the underground was more than she was expecting and less that she hoped for. This man may have gotten himself to the top with more than just quirks alone. Each strike she landed with maximum efficiency but the man was more resilient than the average thug. Well if it's anything the group of ragers she fought last time was anything to say but then again he IS the champion of his leaders fight club. The final hit landed but he managed to mitigate the damage done to him through use of an ice shield. Emitter types like him are always going to be annoying to fight as they always have tricks up their sleeve.
His ego on the other hand was starting to show as the gauntlets changed shape once again as got ready for the third round. She cracked her neck as she decided to humor him for a single moment as she stared him down, “Daughter to a large family of martial artists...UA just teaches me the other skills I lack”, she replied as she loosened up her joints and limbs. Redhorn then followed up as Feng put her hand on her hip as she took a confident pose, “Oh I can, I just have a bad habit of playing with my targets too much these days…”, she said to her as she made a passing glance to Mia as her attention was somewhere else for a moment.
But in that time frame she took a right hook to the face as she felt the ice start to box her in as the pain from the strike went through her jaw. A flurry of blows came down on her but they seemed to lack the proper weight that they usually do. She is reminded of a few people who did this sort of thing in the past...it was a similar feeling to a battle she had before.. The blows came in on her as her expression began to change. The hits hurt like an average hit would do...but they seemed to lack the proper weight she was expecting from before.A passing glance would make her realize that he sacrificed power for speed as the gauntlets on his arms were a massive indicator. . Her eyes began to glow brighter and brighter as a smile began to appear on her face. The heat building up in her legs began to intensify as the ice that was used to trap her began to melt rapidly. After a few seconds of being made into a improvised punching bag, she caught both of his arms and then delivered a blazing kick to his stomach at full speed.
She spat out some blood as the pain she felt before began to go away quicker than she guessed. Then it all clicked as she remembered why the hits were not hitting harder than they should. It was the similar feeling to her superiors in UA, each and every one of them hit harder than him. Punches that hit like heavy lead slamming into her body, fires and shocks that burned and hurt like a coming storm, the feeling of danger and fear of being overpowered. That was what was lacking! The real joy of battle that was lacking.
“You got me good there buecase that actually hurt, but let me tell you, tough guy”, The smile began to grow even more as she glared at him. “But you wouldnt last 5 seconds with the people I've fought before...and since you had your fun...Its my turn!”, She roared out in glee as she activated her quirk to begin her assault. Closing the gap was trivial as she got into range as her eyes dug into her target as she unleashed a flurry of blows down on the thug at alarming speeds. But that wasn't all of it as she began to heat up more and more, one could start to see heat waves in the surrounding areas as Feng began to distort and multiply before ones very eyes. Mirages of herself began to show as she would through began to strike and kick each of his weak points. It was a brief flurry that lasted about 20 seconds but she would then appear next to Redhorn once again as her flames burned near her mentor. Melting the ice a slight bit faster as she took a neutral stance once again.
“Taking care of him easily would really be no fun in the grand scheme of things...always better to see what they could do first so you can stomp them without any remorse!”, She remarked as she made a cutting gesture across her neck. The voice in her head would only reply....'that last part sounded kinda evil out of context there, Feng'

Mia had to watch with a smile on her face as Feng showed this guy what for. He'd come in from the front, boxed her in so she couldn't escape, and while it wasn't a joy to watch her take so many blows it was clear enough to Mia that Feng wasn't about to go down so easily, her grin growing ever wider, a chuckle escaping her. The ice guy probably thought he had this fight in the bag but he wasn't even close. Feng was taking damage, sure, but that look on her was the same one she saw on Jaz when the two of them threw down. Whatever Feng was going through taking that barrage... she'd seen worse!~
The ice guy however clearly wasn't used to someone able to keep up with his blitz attack, the moment her hands latched around his he was stunned, his guard left wide open and taking a full powered blow to the stomache, knocking him back with enough force for his body to skim across the street before whirling back to his feet, spitting out blood himself, one of his eyes a little bloodshot from how the side of his head had hit the road, gritting his teeth in annoyance at the woman before him. "You really think... that's all i....I...?" Confusion filled his tone as the mirrages came into his view... was he seeing double? Had she hit him that bad? The constant cooling of his ice didn't let him truly feel the temperatures around him, but he put up his fists and prepared to fight, taking the true blow mixed in with the fake ones as best he could, but by now he was well and truly on the back foot, ready to go down at a moment's notice.
"Nice work there kid... not sure I know how you pulled that off... new trick of your quick...?" With the ice melting Mia wrenched an arm free of the ice, flexing it as the cold started to fade from her muscles, pulling her legs out as she broke free entirely from the ice, the effort to heat herself back up turning her arm red, but she could feel the cold also keeping her calm. She wasn't about to rage out over this but she was ready to throw one heck of a punch.
"You mind if I finish this?~" She'd ask to Feng, not about to steal her glory if she wanted the finishing blow.

Risaka, Jaz, Yumi, Tetsuko...the names of people who have etched their names into her mind and brought her down. Immense walls that only seem to get stronger upon every meeting. The barrage of punches she suffered in her first year, the punch to the stomach she took in her sparring session, the railgun blast that narrowly missed her in Europe, the fight against the knight...each and every time was either a fluke or a stomp. The pain from each fight was ingrained in her very soul. Pain is still pain...but she had dealt with much more severe strikes from her peers and an underground pit fighter was beginning to look less impressive as she felt each hit. None of the hits stung or felt as heavy as the ones mentioned. It was ...painfully boring to try and not yawn during the rush. However push came to shove and she landed her counter and began her attack. Feints and mirages were perhaps the best tricks she could have learned in her time alone and it proved quite useful now. So many windows to strike now that he was guarding all the wrong areas. It was a treasure trove of potential that she did not want to take for granted.
She was starting to have fun as each strike landed and she wailed on him. Her original goal was to buy Mia some time and melt her out...but this was the fun she had been waiting for. The Pit King was on his back leg as she stood there with a grin on her face as she was prepping the next rush down. HOWEVER, she heard the ice behind her begin to break as she heard Redhorns voice and made a rather simple request. She looked at Mia and then back to Pit King and did for a few seconds before she let out a sigh of relief. Weighing her options was perhaps the only thing she can do as she can do.Anyone watching would put her in a bad light as the sight of Student beating down a villain in front of her teacher would be real bad for appearances and she would prefer to not cause any more trouble for her. The reply is a resounding clap of her hands to snap herself out and a sigh of relief as it was high time for her to tag out.
“The pleasure is all yours, Boss.~”, she gestured as if she was a ushering in the main event as a look of glee was painted all over her face. “Saved by the bell, Tough Guy. Now I’ll leave you two to finish your previous bout.”, she activated her quirk once again a shs etooka seat on a street lamp as she was going to take a proper break. The hits were still hits and boy did she need time to recuperate. For now she will play it cool as she watches the two.

As the kid seemed to weigh up the options Mia could sense some hesitation maybe? It could have just been that she was indeed taking the time to decide but it gave Mia the impression she wasn’t going by her gut on the matter and instead just going on what was more ‘the correct decision’. Mia fancied showing this guy what for, sure, but she didn’t wanna take away from Feng’s moment either incase she really did want this moment to be hers. “Sure kid?” She’d ask, giving Feng a last out just incase she did want to finish this herself. Assuming she was indeed okay with Mia finishing the fight however…
“ENOUGH!” In a burst of frustration the ice boxer threw out his arms, a burst of cold and ice coating the surfaces around him in all directions, the frustrations of guarding against the mirages and the odd speedy kick thrown inbetween getting under his skin, hissing through his teeth. The burst of cold vaporized the mirages and he glared back towards Mia, a finger smashing through his icey gauntlet just to be pointed in the red horned heroine’s direction. “Your going back in ice! And you-!” He added pointing to Feng. “I’m gonna put you so deep in a popsicle ya ain’t ever gonna melt yourself out!”
Mia scoffed a little. The injuries stung, it still felt a little difficult to breathe from the ice that made it’s way down her throat, but rolling her shoulders back she got ready for the finishing blow. “Sorry to disappoint ya Feng but I’m not up for much of a show at this point.~ This’ll be over in a second or so…~”
The ice boxer grit his teeth, he was beyond annoyance at this stage. Any baiting into a skilled fight was gone, the mirraiges made sure of that. He clenched his fists, the gauntlets of ice became denser and heavier, and with a roar of frustration, a rising uppercut was soon to follow, with it a wave of icicles sprouting harshly from the ground, rushing towards Mia herself. Not in the mood to waste time with them after Feng had already stole the show (in a good way of course.~) Mia reared her own fist back. The damage done to her allowed her to easily tap into her red state, the rough, leathery coating of skin spreading from her knuckles, down along her arm and halfway across her bicep. With a cheeky smirk to meet his frustration, she flowed into her punch, the force surging up from heel, up through her leg, turning her back into it and throwing the weight from her shoulder-
The encroaching wave of ice was shattered in an instant. As Mia’s knuckles met the last icicle to form, a shockwave blasted through all those before it, surging forth through them, shattering some through the vibrations of the one before, while those further back simply met the sheet wind force of Mia’s punch. Even with all of them devastated there was still some of the punch left for the goons face it seemed, so spent by his own desperate attack he didn’t have a guard to meet it, sent skimming back along the tarmac of the road, and his back making a casual dent in the door of a police officer’s car from the blockades they’d set up.
Mia hissed a little in a playful annoyance, looking to Feng with a chuckle. “Shit… I’m gonna have to pay for that…” She fished into her deep pockets, pulling out a pair of handcuffs. “Wanna do the honors kid?”
The crowd of civilians that had surrounded the fight were briefly stunned…. Before bursting into cheers as the fight finally seemed to be won by RedHorn and her apprentice, Mia, before Feng got too far away, grabbed Feng’s wrist and lifted it up, making sure most of the praise and cheers was aimed at the kid who did the brunt of the work in her eyes. “Your hero ladies and gentleman!~”

“Is that really the best threat you can say to lil ol me?”, Feng scoffed at the Ice Man. Maybe it was the fire in her previous opponents eyes or the lack of impact the villain had compared to Pinochio...but he has some serious temper issues for sure. Her attention turned to Mia who was very much up for finishing the fight as she was damn ready to end it in one punch. All she could do was give a simple salute as she readied up the big one.
If she were younger, Feng would jump at the opportunity to finish off the bad guy but getting too flashy is going to spell trouble for her. Mostly on her end, barring what she previously thought before. The Tao situation is something she very much needs to be careful about when working as a hero as it will put more spotlight on her than she wants. But nevermind all the tiny details, right now she is gonna see how the guy holds up in a second round against big ol Redhorn. The anger in his strikes can only mean her words and actions finally got to him. A sensible chuckle left her as she watched him struggle a bit since he is only fueled by pure anger and no rage drug.
Her expressions winced a bit as she watched Mia take the hits but she relaxed after she saw her mentor get more and more red. Eyes were widening as she held onto her seat as she was watching as she was readying up for her strike. Even if she was only watching, she could feel her blood run hot as she stared with unblinking eyes. The pressure was immense as she watched the thug who wasted all of his energy throwing attacks get thrown back towards a police car at full force. He must have been quite mad if he actually spent all of his stamina attacking and not keeping his head in the game. Maybe he had some potential but it only shows how much a pit fighter can really do against a stronger opponent. Granted, with the drug he had a good edge on her and would have even won if Feng had not intervened. But it ultimately came down to him not being able to properly finish a fight, which is something many heroes and villains have been doing these days.
The blue haired heroine jumped down from her spot as she went to go meet up with Redhorn as she was offered Handcuffs. She glances at them and up as she can only smile, “It’d be my pleasure, boss”,. The cheers came in as Mia would raise her arm to show that we had won the battle. Of course, she played it off and gave the crowd a winning smile as she bowed to them as she would waltz on over to the knocked out thug to put him in the handcuffs.
After she did and the police handled the crowd, she would take a moment to stretch her arms into the air as she would walk back to her mentor. “Never a dull day when you’re on the clock, eh boss?” she opened up as she got a crick out of her neck. “Though I can safely assume that wont be the last we see of his type around the city.”

Mia shot Feng a warm smile as she graciously took the cuffs to finish the job for her, and even seemed to pleasantly eat up the cheers of the crowd with a winning smile. She didn’t seem to go full drama queen about it like some kids she worked with, but didn’t seem to pay it TOO much heed, which she could respect in it’s own right. She responded positively, but there was a job to do. That was the most she could ask of the kid.
Sticking close to the police barricade a fair bit away, she left this in Feng’s hands. She was ready to leep back into the scene if he was playing possum or something but Feng seemed to have this under control and she wasn’t about to lean over her shoulder just cause she was putting cuffs on a guy. Her attention slowly seemed to get dragged away anyway as one of the littler kids in the audience tugged at the baggy legging of her hero costume, looking down over the barrier and offering the tyke a warm smile. “You want me there kid?~” She’d ask, spotting the small book bound in one of those soft kiddy covers, chuckling at the pen stuck in the top and, with a quick glance at the pages, figuring out it was an autograph book. “Alright… who is this going to?”
When Feng came back over Mia was about done writing her name in the kids book with a little message along the lines of ‘keep being a hero kid’ to boot. He seemed ecstatic reading it but with Feng back by her side Mia offered the young woman most of her attention. “Eh I think that’s a fair assessment. Criminals in general, or Muramassa’s gang alone, they sadly ain’t disappearing any time soon…” She looked to the kid she’d been entertaining and smiled. “We’ll make sure they don’t cause too many issues though, right?” She flashed her gaze back at Feng, prompting her to answer. The kid, a naïve little thing, thought Feng was just a hero he hadn’t heard off yet, and a little shy about not recognizing her, stepped up and offered the book to her too, Mia smirking a little and wondering if she was gonna bless the kid with her autograph too. As far as Mia was concerned afterall any kids who worked alongside with her may as well be a hero in their own right.

Seems like Redhorn still has her fair share of fans after all. A moments glance at the kid was all it took for her to realize that, it was rather heartwarming to see after the sort of fight they’ve been through. But business still had to be done as her mentor replied to her with...a answer that was bittersweet at best. She enjoys a good fight but at the cost of them becoming a recurring problem in the future.Getting to know them now would be beneficial for her in the future as she is probably going to take more of them if the riots and pit fighter are only part of a larger problem. But she snapped out of it once again as Mia addressed her directly as she saw the kid,who she was entertaining was, looking up to her. Offering a book to her and the body language is all it took to see what he was asking of her.
Feng’s mind was caught off guard since this was the first time she had to be dealing with this sort of situation as her expression was calm but internally she was very flattered by the kid. She pat the kid on the head as she did her best to sign it as stylishly as she can. Luckily for her, her mother taught her some calligraphy as a kid as she signed with “The sky's the limit! -Typhoon Dragoon” as nicely as she can and even added some flair with a dragon tail near the end. She worried that she made it big but on the page it was relatively fine in size. Turning down the autograph wouldnt reflect well for her in the face of the public and she’d feel dejected if she broke the kids heart. But she chose to remain humble as she had a long road ahead of her. But after she did her first signing, she looked to Mia as she never replied to her. She made sure the kid could hear it as well and made hure her tone was confident and strong,”That's our job as heroes after all. For as long as we live and breathe, we’ll get the job done.”. It was thought up on the spot as she kneeled down to pat the kid on the head once more. But the words were as sincere as it can be as she was fully committed to becoming the high flying heroine that many can look up to when she eventually becomes a hero.
The kid was rather giddy at the response and waved the duo goodbye as he walked back to one of his parents. Feng of course recognized them as they were one of the families living in the building she had evacuated. They of course waved at them as well as they picked up the kid as they got ready to go back into their homes. Feng tried to remain calm but it was obvious that a smile was starting to appear on her face as she felt a warm feeling in her chest. It was utter joy to do that for the first time and she was a little anxious that she made a good impression.
After that, she’d take a deep breath as she looked to Redhorn,”So what's next boss? Any paperwork or we take a break to make sure ol’ firstly didn't break anything?”

Idly peaking over Feng’s shoulder as she signed the kid’s book, Mia’s brow rose pleasantly along with a curl to her smile as she gave a quiet- “Nice choice.” On the message she’d left the kid with, still resting her elbows on the police barriers. A few other people seemed to be gathering around wanting their peace of the heroine, but just as many were quick to disperse. They’d been here worried about what would happen to their homes, but they weren’t quite ready to praise red horn as a heroine yet… fair enough. She understood. Even she knew she had some limits she had to work on, and a lot of forgiveness she had to earn in turn. Some of which she may never earn but… so long as she was saving people, so long as at least a handful of kids could see a hero… she could push through, didn’t even phase her all that much. Just an idle thought in the back of her mind.
What was more at the forefront however was Feng’s effort, the kid clearly had some charm with kids, or, at the very least, had a natural instinct for it Mia wasn’t about to deny. Mia prided herself on some blunt honesty when dealing with people but for Feng she seemed good at switching from the cocky heroine to the inspirational one. A strong talent when dealing with the public. “Aye. That’s the job.~” She responded in a relaxed tone. Though it did end with a dry cough muffled behind her lips.
Bringing a hand up to her both Mia wiped the base of her palm against her lips, wincing as she noticed the red stain now on her skin and cautiously cleaned it with some bandages from her forearm wrappings, looking back to Feng who likely figured the damage from the ice had still done a number on her as much as she was trying to walk it off.
“Mmm… think I’m gonna have to drop by the nurse’s office when we get back… think they should be stocked up on some of Angie’s sweets…” She was able to breathe fine for now and she didn’t feel like her stomache was drowning in blood, but she was still suffering from some bleeding down her throat and that was hardly a pleasant sensation. She gave a mildly pained chuckle at the ask of paperwork, shaking her head. “Ah don’t remind me… some light property damage, criminal in cuffs… shouldn’t be too much work. You wanna stick around a few minutes though? Soak in the crowd? I might need to make a head start getting back and getting the forms ready after I suck on one of Angie’s sweets but I don’t mind you staying here for a bit.” She smirked and offered cheekily. “Easy way to get out of the paperwork too if ya just leave it to me.” As much as paperwork was part of the job afterall, she wasn’t too eager to bore such promising young apprentices by forcing them to do hers with her.

Seems like Feng hit the nail on the head with her assumptions. Maybe her time with Blue Agate did rub off on her as she was very much getting into the role of being….well a hero. She heard Mias response as she knew the damage she took from the fight was more than she can take and put up a front for the public. Though her remark about her soaking in the crowd and staying for a bit while she heads back. She takes a moment to think of a proper response as her eyes sweep across the crowd. Avoiding paperwork and working the crowd? Very tempting to say the least. Her eyes fall to the remaining blocks of ice around the areas and she takes a deep breath.
“...I’ll take you up on that offer. You get rested up and I'll stand guard here juuuust in case our icy friend here decides to wake up early….and clean up the remaining ice blocks with my quirk when the crowd clears up.”, she replies as she waves to the crowd as they waved back. Nervousness and being in the spotlight wasn't her deal as she was more the type to not stand out as much at times...but the feeling was pretty nice all things considered. “Just make sure you radio me if anything sudden happens on the way back, boss”, she gestures to the headpiece as she goes to the crowd and makes sure they're all alright. They parted ways but kept on contact over communications.
On her end of the radio, she was using her quirk, she uses enhanced sight to survey the area for any damages to the property. Working the crowd and getting to work is something she needs to practice on. Greeting the civilians as they go back to their lives, talking with the police and making sure she is doing her job, trying not to use her quirk too much while around civilians. It was not only for their sake but for her own considering her own circumstances. The more shines will cast a bigger shadow behind her that will come to her at any point. She kept her grim thoughts to herself as she needed to keep the crowd calm and worry free as she began to make work on the ice. Using her quirk to melt it down slowly as she didnt want to damage the asphalt or the places around her. “Im not one to ask...but why exactly is this bunch after you besides the obvious facts?”, she asked over the comms as she slowly melted the ice. Small talk wasnt her best suit but she might as well try for the hell of it.

Mia gave little more than a firm nod as Feng decided she’d rather stay on the scene, patting her back on the way past and making her way out to the ambulances that had been waiting to take any civilians who got injured in the crossfire of the fight. After a quick examination on the spot, and Mia assuring them she just needed a ride back to UA (She could make it in a fair few jumps but this was obviously the safer option) she ended up being directed to one of the police cars so as to not waste any of the paramedic’s resources, hopping in the back of one of the officers cars for a ride home, leaning her back out along the couch like back seat of the vehicle.
She kept small tabs on Feng, having tapped the shoulders of the police officers on her way out to let them know she had Red horn’s permission to stay. That they should get the ice man off the scene asap and just leave her with some small crowd management and clean up aid. She didn’t mean to insult Feng but she shouldn’t really have left her on her own to begin with, she trusted the kid of course, but it was best to minimize the trouble they’d get in if anyone made a stink about this.
When she heard the question over comms, Mia thought for a moment about how much she should say, leaning her head back in thought for just a second or so before resting her fingers against the comm’s switch again. “Muramasa’s guys basically subscribe to some cult like view that rage and anger are the way to go. If you restrain it or suppress it then you’re not living life right. Muramasa, from what they tell me, sees me being this big grand hero with a quirk that get’s stronger the more… rage-y I get, so he wants to piss me off to the point I don’t have a choice but to embrace it and give into my rage like he does. He’s got a few other rage fuelled fuckers under his banner, but my guess is since we’re both muscle freaks he’s a bit obsessed… just a guess though.” She chimed back. “He’s been coming out again lately, little targets here and there, trying to rile me up… wouldn’t be surprised if he shows up again soon.”

Clean up remained as simple as it was tedious as there was a lot of ice left around the area where the battle took place. Despite her quirk and its strength, the sheer quantity of ice made sure she was going to stay a bit while she properly melted through all of them. This is the sort of thing she needs to make sure she does well because any rememenants means injured residents due to it being a road hazard or worse. She worked the crowd as the best she could as she worked both the task of keeping them entertained and doing her actual job here. One can only shudder to think of the paperwork she has to fill in the future if she wants to deal with incidents like this….however that time is not now and she has the luxury of clearing without much issue. Though what remains is dealing with the damp feeling in her clothes as she melted through the piles of ice paired with her quirk. Its a TERRIBLE feeling to have on the job but she beared with as she awaited Mias response. When she did get it...it was perhaps not the next answer she wanted to hear but as she was still near the crowd, loud outbursts would be the last thing they wanted to hear.
She kept her composure as she thought up a response as she melted more of the ice on the road. The stream of water flowed into the drains as she slowly melted through it with her legs. Kicking it would be easy but her stamina can only take so much and that option is only for the idea that she didn't care about her surroundings. Breaking things much like fights are unpredictable and all it takes is one bad mistake to cause an incident with the city. But moving on, she quietly gave some thought as she moved through the streets doing clean up. “Rather troublesome to be following you from the sounds of it.”, she pursed her lips as she recalled the riots.”If their group is going to be like the destructive bunch from the riot, I'm going to need to step up my game if I want them to piss off properly”. Melting the ice served its purposes as her expression got a tad bit annoyed but it soon calmed down as she caught herself. “...but if ya need any help with them boss, I’ll be more than happy to help beat up a few baddies for the sake of the city.”
