Ah Feng. That kid did well the last time they’d ran an internship together. She felt a little bad the last one had turned into such a shit show for ‘em but while they were out on the open street the kid certainly showed some talent, taking down thugs and goons with relative ease and making sure to stick to procedure when and where she could. It was when that burning building got added to the mix that things turned to hell. She worried a bit that she made the wrong call telling those kids to back her up. Neither of them really managed to save anyone from the flames and with how fast it spread it was no fault of their own but… well suffice to say a harrowing experience like that wasn’t exactly something she wanted to pin on those kids. Not this early in their careers.
Things should be better today. Mia lately had been getting put on some of the safer patrol routes rather than the red light district and the like so she highly doubted they’d come across any burning buildings or high level crime… knowing her luck she jinxed herself already just by thinking that but ho hum… too late now.
Knowing Feng was quite agile, Mia had chosen one of the taller apartment blocks in the city as their meeting place. She’d bent a hole in the railings that were meant to act as a safety to prevent people falling off or… jumpers, and was just casually hanging her legs off the edge of the rooftop, enjoying a sandwhich she’d packed herself. She’d heard yellow jacket once challenged her interns to make it to the top of a building to meet her as a test to see if they’d use their quirks without her permission, but Feng was a third year, and Mia wasn’t that petty. She just wanted to see the kid make her way up here, at which point Mia would silently hold out a bacon sandwhich she made for the girl. “Fuel up. Probably took an arm and a leg just getting’ up here.~”

Feng was elated to say the least as she had another opportunity to work under Redhorn once again. She needed the experience and working with as many heroes as possible will help expand her horizons in terms of how to deal with certain situations. That is to say her previous experience with Redhorn wasn't exactly a good start with certain things occurring that involved a burning building and a villain who she doesn't even know if they made it out or not. But nevermind the past and what she couldn't control, today is a fresh start and she has a clear mind as she made sure to have everything she needs on hand. Her outfit is in reasonable condition and she has all of her equipment. Most of her time was spent on refining her skills and keeping up her routine as she can only get even stronger than before.
Making sure the place was locked up and everything was in place, she left home as she jogged her way to get herself warmed up. Though she unfortunately had nothing to eat as a result as she left in quite a hurry.
She made her way through the familiar streets of Tokyo as each turn was as intentional as she looked at every building she passed by about a dozen times in her runs. The meeting palace was a familiar situation and it brought back some memories where she did the unthinkable and rode on the roof of a train without much care. Looking back on it, it was stupid of her to do that when her natural pace was much quicker than a normal train. Her phone displayed the set address and meeting place in question as she quickly made her way to the location in question. It was one of the taller and more fancy apartments of the city as she looked side to side to make sure no civilians were in her way and it was alright to use her quirk. She took a deep breath and looked up as she activated her quirk in quick succession. It was graceful as she could be as looked like she was being pulled up by strings as she danced her way to the meeting area where Mia was standing there, waiting.
Landing without much trouble, she looked at Redhorn as she was the first to speak. “I apologize if I was late, I had to make sure things were locked up at home before I came…”, replying as she took the sandwich she was offered and began to eat it cleanly and quickly. “..and for the record, it was not much issue getting up here….though if this is a Yellow Jacket type test then I can always jump back down and take the stairs”. Joking as she scratched the back of her head as she finished her sandwich.
“So whats the plan for today and whats the route?”, she stretched her arms and legs into the air as she felt herself wake up with a slight crack.

"Heheheh... Yellow jacket inspired the meeting spot but don't worry about it okay? This ain't some trick to get you in trouble for using your quirk. You know I ain't like that kid." She started to finish off her own food realizing that Feng was chewing quickly through their own sandwhich, Mia scooping up the trash from her sandwhich wrappings and slapping them into a rucksack resting next to her on the roof. It seemed to have some casual clothes in it that fit Mia's size, the bag quickly slung over her shoulder and seeming to be her clothes for the way back home once they were done for the day, and now also where she was gonna keep her trash till she found a trashcan to put it in.
"As far as what we got planned for the day...!" She groaned deeply as she stretched out her arms above her head, a few light pops sounding from her spine and shoulders as she stretched herself so tight, before letting out a relieved sigh. "I ain't got any of the more dangerous patrol routes these days but I'm sure we'll find something. For now we're gonna start as a day in the life ya know? If you can keep up we'll even have a nice chat." She'd be about to turn off the rooftop before pausing. "Oh, you got your own earpiece or you need one before we move?"
Whatever was the case Mia would make sure the two of them were on the same channel with their hero-issue earpieces so they could stay in touch with one another, Mia turning back to the edge of the rooftop and starting to sprint as she got closer to the edge. "Okay then! Simple patrol routes! Lets see if you can at least keep up!"
With a hard kick off the final step, enough to crack the concrete and brick work that made up the rooftop beneath her, she sent herself flying with an immense leap off the top of the apartment building, the harsh wind stinging her tough skin as she soared down towards the next group of buildings, skimming off of one like a well thrown pebble, carrying her momentum to a building that was lower than that, bursting into a run that flowed into another immense leap. Nothing special, nothing spectacular, for now the two of them were just finding their barings on this patrol route.
"So!" She called out over their earpieces. "How's school been treatin' ya!?~ Lookin' forward to graduatin?~"

“Fair enough, I’ll try and do my best to keep up then.”, Feng responded in turn as she heard the plan. A good change of pace that doesn't involve the high octane action of the job and taking the more calm approach. She didn't hate it or love it but its one of the many things she signed up for when she decided on this profession.
As for the question on ear pieces, she put on her goggles and tapped on her accessories to indicate her answer. “I got my own, courtesy of support class and their continued service to all things technical”, adjusting it on her head to make sure it was comfortable. She made sure that she was on the same channel as her mentor. It was then she noticed her mentor standing near the edge and Feng of course knew it was about time to start. She took a deep breath as she cleared her throat as she heard Redhorn go for a running start and leapt off the building. The sound in which doing so left quite the imprint on the building itself as she saw her flying through the air.
She got into a ready stance and went for a running start. It was well practiced and a familiar feeling as she made it to the edge of the building. At the second she reached it she activated her quirk as she shot high into the air. The feeling of wind blowing through her hair as she gracefully falling through the sky as she landed on another roof near Redhorn’s location. As she landed, she kept her momentum as she went running off the roof and followed after Redhorn.
The radio went on as she heard and she gave it a moment to linger before she answered, “Aside from the incidents as of late, UA’s been treating me great! Graduating is on the brain but the it feels like theres more to learn if you know what I mean”. She landed on another roof as she kept her eyes scanning the city landscape as as far it lets her. The feeling was amazing and the view from where she was is a dream come true...though with how things are, she cant really enjoy this feeling for too long as the line of duty calls to her. Her pace was slightly behind Redhorn as one would expect but she is keeping pace a fair bit as she kept her eyes on the city.

Mia gave a firm and simple nod as the two passed eachother where they leapt through the air in response to her comments about UA. She felt like she was missing something and Mia could sorta understand that. Even the most trained pupil she could think of, Jasmine... something about her wasn't 'there' yet. But no kid ever could be really. "It's just field experience. You need more of it... especially on your own. The ability to make decisions without the safety net of whoever's taking you out for the day... it'll come, but its definitely not something any of you kids can get stuck with me."
Coming in for a landing on one of the passing rooftops, she took a slow breath as she recovered from the exhaustion, rolling her shoulders back and stepping up to the edge of a rooftop, crossing her arms as she just looked over the city streets, hearing the honk of some impatient horns and a few people arguing in the street. Nothing serious, just the tickle hustle and bustle of any big city. "Ya know I may love the fighting but... its nice getting the quieter routes sometimes... just people watchin' taking in the city..." She looked back to Feng, curious- "Say... what has you wantin' to be a hero anyway?"

“Fair enough”, Feng remarks as she follows suit. That was always her weak point in terms of her expertise, split decisions are the core skill that every hero needs. Fire’s, breakouts, being targeted, all of those things put that skill to the test. It's quite daunting to think about when one day, various lives are going to be in the palm of her hands. Flashbacks to set situations start to come back to her but she snaps out of it as she follows Redhorn dutifully. Watching the city in all of its grandeur as she takes a moment to take in the view.
Her attention did turn to her Mentor as she asked her the ever present question that always concerns every hero. Feng had her response quick as she was always asked this already, “Freedom from family expectations and to satisfy the urge to help people….I have power and I want to protect those who don't have it...though it's a bit simple compared to my peers”, she replied as she takes in the cool breeze that started to blow through the city.
“Then again long winded reasons on why heroes help people sell more and makes the entire thing more genuine than others...I just wanna see what I can do with the power in my hands.”

“Freedom from family expectations huh? Heh… can’t really relate to the idea of a person’s family NOT wanting them to be heroes…” She rolled her shoulders back, thinking to her own family with a quiet smirk and just relaxing for a moment as the two of them took in the view over the city, just letting her breaths flow slowly and calmly. “I mean, my family never expected me to be a hero. My dad god bless him saw me getting all strong and big thanks to my quirk. Thought I might join him in the coal mines he worked at. Didn’t even mind the idea, wasn’t all that bad. Good, hard, decent work with a lot of manly men. Definitely the kind of environment I was built for but… hell he never fought against it when I chose the vigilante shit. He was worried… for himself and my Ma’s poor heart but… the two of them were definitely supportive…”
Realizing she’d begun to ramble, a light red tinted her cheeks, chuckling as she ruffled the hair on the back of her head. “Sorry, got caught in some nostalgiac memories there… mind if I ask what your family expects of you if not to be a hero? Heck if anything I think a lot more kids who come here are EXPLICITLY expected to be heroes by their family ya know?” She knew a few exceptions of course but… only a few.
She did give Feng a small elbow though at her comment about having a simple power. “Also. Kid. Come on. Not to toot my own horn but I got one of the best take down records out here and my quirk is ‘the angrier I get the harder I punch’. If you’re worried you’re power is ‘too simple’ compared to your classmates, remember that don’t always mean the others are better. Simple, complex, beautiful, ugly. Yer quirk is your special little thing… and heck if you made it this far through UA you already got what it takes to be a hero. I seen what us fuckers put you lot through afterall.~” She offered a cheeky grin, hoping that set of lines might help Feng worry a little less about their quirk.
She gave a firm nod as she admitted that, beyond it all she wanted to see what she could make of herself, beyond the good and the bad. She knew where the core of her feelings came from and helping people seemed to be icing on that cake. “Ya know what, I can definitely relate to that.”
BWEEP BWEEP
The sound would come from Feng’s own goggles and Mia would raise a hand to one of her own ears, clearly hearing the same sound. A brief sound of static and the sound of a local police radio would come through. The situation they were reporting apparently raised to Hero level importance.
“All local law enforcement report we have a rampaging quirker out on the streets. Prominent veins on their skin indicate they may be associated with the group known as the Ragers-“
Mia’s eyes flared wide for a second and she pulled her whole hand up to cover her ear and make sure the wind didn’t interfere with it catching her voice. “RedHorn here what’s the location.”
There was a beat of silence in the otherwise urgent report and the man’s voice came back somewhat sternly.
“Kearney look we know this-“
Mia held up a hand, she knew he couldn’t see it but It also stopped her flying off the handle too. “Look you get another hero on the scene they can take over but every second we spend debating this is a another hundred thousand yen in property damage if not worse so what’s the location.
Another brief pause but it ended quicker this time, the two of them quickly getting a street name that was just a few blocks away, Mia looking to Feng eagerl.
“You up for some action kid?~"

Feng looked out to the vast city landscape that was presented to her eyes and it was a rather breathtaking sight. No matter how many times she looked at it, it had the same effect on her that cannot be captured by photos or videos. The feeling of wind blowing through her hair, the sun touching her skin, the lights showing every part of the city.
This was the sight she had fought for and dreamed about back at home all those years ago. It was a vivid memory in her mind as it burned into her mind. The words that were said, the feelings that were felt, the walk home, the encounter, the fight that ensued and the aftermath. A nostalgic feeling nevertheless that was fleeting as her mind came back to the present. No matter how much she tries or runs, she will have the shackles of her family holding her back. That she will eventually become part of the family business in due time. But that is a problem for another day.
Redhorn started to ramble which was something she never expected but it was a rather relieving thing to hear how a hero came to be. However it looped back around to her once again the question was asked,’what is her family actually doing?. To avoid the ever expanding list of ideas in her head of what they are. “Considering various incidents and my circumstances….my family are rather picky when it comes to certain job fields.Though many of them expected to follow in my mom's footsteps. “She quickly replied as she looked out at the vast skies above. Redhorn of course nudged her and gave some uplifting words of encouragement about her quirk and self doubts. It did lift her spirits a bit as Feng clapped her hands to wake herself up as a smile on her face showed up.
The moment was of course cut short as something came in through her goggles. It was an emergency that needed their intervention and Feng knew it was time for some action. A familiar name came up as she went up against them before as she clenched her fists in excitement. Her mentor answered the call and of course there was a delay in response considering the previous incident with them….and the damage her mentor caused. However her response was as obvious as possible as she flipped off the air and argued a really good point as she then looked to her and asked the question. The blue haired heroine gave her a bright smile as her eyes began to glow with anticipation.
“ Did you really need to ask that question, Redhorn? We’ll be done with em before any back up arrives”, she said confidently as she gave a thumbs up. At the moments notice, she would of course follow behind the oni hero to the place at a breakneck pace as she was building up her energy and hear for the eventual fight that is in her hands.

Mia grinned wildly as Feng was on board as ever to handle some crime and with a hard kick off the current rooftop Mia was on the move again, the wind stinging against her skin as she soared through the cityscape below her and moved with passion and vigor in every thundering step as she rushed off towards the scene of the crime. Ultimately, the closest hero to the scene it wouldn't take long for the two of them to arrive, Mia skidding to a halt as she heard the sound of metal crashing against pavement not far off, leering over the edge of her perch to see the devestating being caused below, crouching low and gesturing for Feng to come in beside her.
From the looks of things it was definitely a rager. Deep purple veins were flowing up the side of his face showing him for what he was, one of those fucking addicts who got off on just trashing the world around them. Mia let out a frustrated sigh as she observed the scene for a moment. He was bald, had a fur-lined body warmer jacket with no sleeves. Thick chunks of ice flowed up over his fists and forearms like gauntlets, and from the display, he could spread the ice further. A slam of his fist down into the ground and pillars of ice formed, knocking up under one of the nearby police cars and forcing it to spin in the air before crashing down a few meters back. For now it seemed like only police were on the scene, blocking off both ends of the street, and while the villain had what COULD be bullet wounds over him, each of them seemed to be clogged up with a thick nodule of ice.
"Aight Feng we got time... first lesson. Observation. Tell me what you see and how you think the situation should be handled. Clock's ticking. Go."
Maybe this being a teacher thing was rubbing off on her... in a good way.~

Feng flew with the wind as Redhorn followed, the feeling was free as the wind could be felt flowing through her hair. She landed a bit off from her mark as she landed away from her mentor. Some confusion could be had on where her mentor was for a solid 5 seconds...before the loud crash of the pavement cracking nearby made it clear where she landed. She peeked over the edge to see Redhorn getsuring her over. She saluted as she backflipped off the roof and somewhat flashily swung off and jumped off a few wires and pipes before she landed next to her large oni mentor.
Feng’s point of focus would turn to the rampaging villain who was causing quite a mess with ice. Her eyes were trained enough to notice all the smaller details about the villain. The shockingly purple veins, his bald head, the rather grim expression on his face, Mia then posed a question for her on the spot and the purple haired heroine gave it a few moments of thought.
She would normally give the direct approach but there's too many factors to think of right now and his quirk causes a lot of collateral. Going directly for a fight would only mean more trouble in the near future as then civilians would get into the line of fire. The villain themself is also under the influence and that makes him unpredictable in how he acts. Police are on scene but they're also in danger in turn for the fact that they are quirkless and bullets have a long history of being ineffective to those under the influence of drugs.
Her eyes closed for a moment as she gave it a few seconds to collect her thoughts before she gave a proper answer. “First we see if we can clear out the area of any civilians in the area to make sure they dont get caught in the crossfire...after that we try and lure him to a more open area to limit the amount of collateral damage to the city itself and then when both are clear we can engage while aiming to knock him out….”, she said in stream as her eyes darted around the area as they searched for every sort of thing she can use against the villain.
“Well that's the rough idea but the villain is under the influence and if I'm recalling a few incidents, those plans never go accordingly and since the incident social tensions have been quite hefty to say the least since the prison break and whatnot...”, she stretched her arms and cracked her knuckles as she looked at the villain dead on with a smile on her face.
“Which only leaves us with the honor of beating this guy down until he cant move anymore~

... That was good. Real good work. In Mia's eyes she may have taken the direct approach, and the response she was looking for was maybe an examination of the guys quirk or potential advantages they may be able to play, but Feng's approach of the situation was extremely conscious of the surroundings. She took a slow breath and gave a firm nod, genuinely impressed by how all encompassing her thought process had been. In a straight up fight Mia was sure they could take him out before any real risk came to the nearby buildings, but, Feng was right, to eliminate that risk outright it'd be best to fight him somewhere more open where that risk was reduced entirely.
"Nice work... they teach you well at that school.~" Rather than being ashamed the kid was doing better than her in such a thought process Mia she just showed how genuinely impressed she was. It'd be good having a kid with some brains by her side... not that Jaz didn't-okay getting off topic. Bottom line was Feng had a good head on her shoulders and she wasn't about to let her own dense nature get in the way of showing how impressed she was by her mind. "Alright. I'm gonna go keep the guy busy... there are... 3 buildings, either side of the street before we hit the police blockade. Get to each door, alert them you're a hero, and take them to safety. I'll keep the criminal busy. If no one answers the door after 3 attempts, you leave it. Most likely they're not home or they've hunkered in somewhere safe. It would be riskier to extract them." Such a thought process may go against some things Feng had been taught but from personal experience it was the way to go. You end up kicking in someone's door to drag them out of their home, their manic kicking and screaming against you was just gonna make the whole situation more messy. If they thought they were safe hiding under a table in their kitchen? Best to leave them to it.
She gave Feng a firm jab in the shoulder. "I won't wreck him too soon, I'll keep him busy, try to mitigate the collateral while you get on the rescuing job. Be quick though, I can't hold myself back forever.~" She teased idly with a proud smirk, rushing out of their little hidey hole and leaping over the police blockades around the rampaging villain, crashing hard into what could be considered the center of the 'arena' so to speak. She rolled her shoulders back, not the kind for big speeches half the time but happy to make a whitty quip, gesturing for the ice guy to come and get some. "Alright 'frozone'. Your super suits in the wash so how about we get you some jail slacks in the meantime huh?"
The ice man turned to her, glaring for a moment before a deep laugh came from his throat. "Oooooh... Muramasa's gonna loooooove me when I come home with the news you went on another rampage!"
Mia's eye twitched and she lowered into a more bestial stance ready for a fight. "Yeeeeah thought you were one of his... come on then... make me roar...!~"
Purposely baiting the criminal, Mia watched as he ran up to pound one of his ice covered fists into her grasping it in her palm to stop the blow but her arm shaking, not just from the cold. He was clearly strong and a sound headbutt with the underside of her horn would only stagger him for a moment. Feng needed to move quick grabbing those civilians.

Feng felt somewhat proud for her detailed response as Redhorn was seemingly giving good judgement on her observation.Spending time with a few dozen students who are more scholarly gives her more reason to use some skills that rubbed off on her. But the momentary boost in self-esteem can wait because there was still the issue of the villain at large. Mia gave her the battle plan and what she plans on doing in the meantime while she was given the honor of clearing out three buildings worth of people out of the danger zone.
Three Buildings...were the only two things that were said in her head as she looked at the three structures before her. Panic, excitement, sorrow and anxiety all hit her at once as she now has to deal with becoming a door to door hero who has to make sure civvies get out safely or get buried under a pile of rubble. Nothing too big to worry ab- oh who am I kidding. Feng is internally panicking because she assumed that Mia would be the one to do the door to door deal as she was given the more extravagant test of fighting against the walking creamsicle down the road.
She would go through the various stages of panic before Mia jabbed her shoulder to snap her out of it. The game pl;amn was set and Mia jumped right into battle as Feng scrambled to get herself into high gear. She activated her quirk in quick bursts to accelerate her movements as she would go into the nearest building to warn them about the battle thats about to happen soon. Running into the front door, she can see a few people cowering under a few tables and counters as they heard the commotion outside. Feng put on her best face as she looked to them and said to them clearly, “ALL CIVILIANS PLEASE EVACUATE THE BUILDING IMMEDIATELY!! EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE DOWN THE BLOCK.” She opened up as she gestured everyone out of the door and pointed them to the right direction.
As they did she would use the stairs to make her way to the first floor and would quickly knock on each door and quickly repeat, “There is an emergency outside and we need all civilians to evacuate immediately and stay away from the hazard zone !”. She cant afford to knock on each door with how unpredictable those ragers get, so using her quirk and voice to get everyone out was the next best thing. The only thing she hopes is that they actually listen and head downstairs and do what she had told them to do. But second guessing only wastes time as she would finish one floor as she would start the next.

Mia saw Feng out of the corner of her vision doing the good work that needed doing. Sure, Mia would love to have that girl fighting alongside her but at the end of the day facing ragers was a bit of a personal button for Mia given her fight against Muramasa, and beyond that, interns, apprentices, they weren’t heroes. Mia liked to treat it otherwise a lot of the time but that was the truth of the matter, when there was a villain to fight or a high end task that needed doing, Mia wanted to rely on herself first and foremost, back up like Feng, Yasashi, heck even Jasmine at times, they were just that. Back up. They didn’t have the experience to be the first act every time.
Mia dusted the ice off her hand from that captured punch, some of the icicles still embedded in her palm but with her natural heat they were melting rapidly, a faint trickle of blood in her hand before they sealed back up quick as they were made. She may not have had a regen factor but her body was strong enough by now that just a quick flex was all she needed to close up a wound like that with her muscles alone. Her gaze remained undeterred and a confident smile across her lips, grinning even as she took on a more ready position.
“You wanna try that again frosty?”
A rising uppercut came from a distance, the fist itself having no intention of striking Mia, pillars of ice rushing towards her like some spell in an RPG or some crap. Mia dodges to the side, rolling before kicking up to her feet and closing the distance. While she had some effective range on her these days she always did better up close, slamming a powerful fist into the ice-man’s cross guard. Ice seemed to become more dense against her blow as a brief shield was formed, shattered just as quickly but definitely saving the freak a good amount of force.
She glanced to Feng again, kid was doing well, the street was practically cleared out barring anyone who was insisting they stay in their homes. Like Mia said sometimes it was more dangerous to force their removal in a situation like this. Mia rose up a guard to another series of pillars as they slammed past her, scraping the back of her forearm and slamming into the front door of one of the buildings that had been emptied out, shattering it while also locking it off by blocking it with ice… well, that was probably coming out of her paycheque somehow…!
Feng was all done as far as she could tell, but Mia wasn’t about to bark more orders at her. The girl probably had the training to think for herself now that they’d gotten the necessities out of the way. She rushed forward again, her fist clashing with one of the ice man’s own blows… albeit with a twist.
Mia watched as the clashing icey boxing glove rapidly began to expand and grow up her arm, the growth about as quick as those pillars. Mia tried to flex her arm, retrieve it, but the cold was decreasing her mobility and strength even as it locked her up. The ice darted across her back, locking around her other shoulder and removing the motion she needed to strike him with her other fist.
“You little-!” She was about to roar, before the other icey hand clasped around her face, Mia’s eyes growing wide as she started to feel the ice fill her mouth and her nostrils, oxygen instantly cut off. Sure she was a titan of a woman with big enough lungs to hold herself together for… maybe a handful of minutes, but she clearly was struggling, her arms coated in ice and the punk working on the rest of her pretty rapidly.

Feng was of course panicking to no end as she ran through the streets like a mad telling all the civilians to leave their homes. Luckily the majority of the people had the foresight and urgency to look at the MASSIVE icicles everywhere to follow her instructions. However a few decided to leer at her and decided that their homes were in fact somehow immune to all disaster as they stayed in their homes. She wanted to drag them out but Redhorn gave her some important advice and continued on. The sounds of the battle can be heard from behind her as she zipped down the street as she repeated her calls.
All the while all of this she was Internally screaming as she hoped what she was doing was right. She is more battle hardened but she hadn't dealt with many people since her second year with the hostages. Feng pushed on despite this as she needed to have a good face when working because there are so many people watching her. The citizens came out in a rush as they ran to the area where the police were. Many gave thanks as they ran for safety and she gave them a thumbs up in response.
As they cleared she heard the glass shatter behind her as her eyes saw that the battle was still raging. She wanted to see if Redhorn had it covered but her eyes were unfortunately trained enough to see that wasn't the case. Ice is an element that is both trickery and useful when the user knows what they are doing. Given enough time and training, an ice user can match brute force in every sense of the word due to the element's utility to fit every role. Traps, defense, attack, it had a lot of things going for it. She was seeing it first hand as she saw Mia slowly get entrapped in the ice as her movements began to slow down to a crawl. She heard the roar and she immediately knew this was going to her fight.
Feng closed her eyes for a moment as she regained her composure as she quickly exhaled to ignite the flames. Bright and brilliant, she wasted no time rushing towards Redhorns location. Everyone looking on saw a blue blur that had bright yellow eyes as three fireballs was kicked towards the ice punk. Whether for the fact that he can block them or evade them was irrelevant as she landed near her mentor. Her eyes saw what was wrong with Mia and with some quick thinking used her quirks rapid activation once more to raise the temperature of the area to melt the ice around them. Her eyes were trained on the villain as she knows damn well that a few fireballs cant knock him away and she was about ready to rush him down.
“I assume Frosty the Snowman is a bit tricky to take on...but Im always up for a challenge.”, Feng said as she takes a ready stance.

Mia could feel herself getting ready to pass out. The sensation of being choked was one thing but she wasn't even allowed an option to fight here, every attempt to breathe just forced her lungs to grow tighter, the pull of her muscles internally creating an almost vaccuum as they tried to suck on more air that wasn't allowed to enter. The pain of that was what was getting to her more than the lack of oxygen, her eyes fluttering a little as she tried to hold a glare on the guy suffocating her.
Luckily, his eyes were on hers too, and as the fireballs roared in he didn't have a chance to block the first, hitting him full force in the side the ice that connected him to Mia snapped and he was on the back food. The second was a glancing blow, blasting against his shoulder, while the third was effectively blocked, stumbling back a fair distance from Redhorn as Feng came in next to her to help melt the ice. The veiny faced fuck glaring down Feng furioulsy. He'd been so close to finishing Mia off...! "Stupid cunt! The ice was-!" He grit his teeth, not giving her the satisfaction of finishing that thought. He raised his ice coated fists and glared her down, ready to throw down at a moment's notice. The veins were starting to receed from his face however, the drug he'd taken starting to lose some effect...
Mia herself was back trying to fight the sensations of her brain giving out on her. The burst of heat from the outside was helping melt the ice but she'd been coated so densely it wasn't an instant process. Still, she needed a fucking breath if she was even gonna be moral support here. Tensing every muscle she could, the adrenaline in her system helped generate a more internal heat and with a harsh snapping sound she bit through the ice and shattered it around her face. What followed could only be described as 'icey blood chunks' as thick, icey red flowed from her mouth... despite effectively throwing up blood, Mia didn't even seem all that thrown. A little paler maybe, but she still forced a grin.
"Heh... think this is all you for now kid... keep the heat up though...~" She could feel the cuts the ice had made in her mouth from smashing it so violently, and the burning in her throat told her it was probably a little deeper too... she needed to give herself a minute to make sure she wasn't about to choke on blood instead of ice, but with the drug seeming to wear off she liked Feng's odds. "Ice and fire huh...? I'm sure you already know who wins that fight...!" The ice melted enough for her to be able to snap it behind her shoulders, but her arms were still so densely coated she was clearly not in a position to use them as anything more than wildly aimed clubs attatched to her torso. She gave Feng a firm nod, confirming this was her fight.
"Pretty sure it's ice you yankee bitch!" The fighter rushed forward, the veins surged up a little but they were clearly on the recession, only held in place by his surge of anger. With a thrown punch on his charge ice tried to surge up from the ground and entrap Feng's legs with the ice-boxer coming up soon after, aiming for a direct blow. While the constant heat seemed to sizzle at the ice, his own gauntlets, constantly fueled by his quirk, remained dense and heavy, aiming to catch Feng with a hefty gut blow or put her on the back foot. Keep her away from Redhorn and he could shove more ice down that blonde bitches throat!
