She would clear up their spot by rolling up the towels and get the food and drinks back in the bags and boxes and she leaned shortly against him before taking up the stuff and suggesting to bring this first to the car before going to the snack bar, as that would probably make things easier and she could get her phone to check the time. Oh wow, it was later than she had realized and she was actually a little giddy, forgetting the hand on her stomach and so on, that was definitely a moment of turning as red as a tomato and so on. She held his hand as they would go back to the beach and walk to the snack bar. She looked at the huge menu, eh she couldn't remember that from days before and she scanned it as fast as she could. "Would you want to share a milkshake?" Those things you saw in romantic movies, she wanted that so badly and they would get a boot and sit there and she looked at him and held his hands tightly on the table and she smiled, "Thank you."
She would eventually order a big vanilla milkshake and some fries, she did not like the snacks they offered and if anything she would take the fried okra but for now she would just wait for it to come, the milkshake came first and she would try to get Giovanni to drink it with her at the same time, it made her bashful and giggly but she liked it a lot and it made her bite her lip cuz she liked it being cute and all. She looked away from him to avoid eye contact and to avoid blushing even more. Not too much later the food would be brought to their table and she would focus on the fries with all her might.

Giovanni helped Nimue clear their spot. And oh boy did he sense fatigue. Even if he did nothing, he felt tired. Must be the sun. The two once packed got the bags back to their car. Nimue meanwhile checked her phone for time. Giovanni was curious about the time and well a lot of things, but he will ask later. Now the two held hands and went together to the beach and the snack bar. Nimue was the one who looked at the menu. She then asked would they like to share a milkshake. Giovanni smiled and said "Si"
The two sat and Nimue thanked him? Giovanni and chuckled "Thank you? What for? I didnt do anything" after all, this was normal. They were a couple and he didnt think he'd done anything special to warrant a thanks. Not that he minded.
They ordered their mlkshake. Nimue was so cute with her idea, so he indulged her. He did like the milkshake more than whatever else was given. The two drank their milkshake at the same time. Nimue was so basful and giggly. And well, Giovanni was more euphoric and giggly as he reached out to hold her hand as they drank the milkshake at once. It was a truly peaceful and beautiful day.
Ah yes. He wanted to retire to this. Just some distant future where they're married, not a hero nor villain, just togetheir and their kid does whatever it wants. But just the two of them living happily ever after. Gosh look at her, she was so cute.

The most fun part was the vanilla milkshake, though surprising the fries were still very good. She actually liked them, very crunchy on the outside but still soft on the inside. She would just enjoy it and listen to the music that they played here. They did not spend too much time here and when it was done, she managed to pay, because this was cheap, she could do this. "Oh I thanked you for today." she said as she cleaned her face from potential sauce on her lips or something. What to do next? She looked up at the sky as they got out of the snack bar and looked at her phone and the sky setting slowly and she leaned her head on Giovanni's shoulder. "You don't mind if we go home? I wouldn't mind to sit on the couch and do nothing." Maybe watch tv or read a book or something. That would be nice and just relax in his arms and sleep, hm that sounded like the best thing.
She would slowly walk back to his car with him and watch the sunset as long as she could and she had no intention to stay for it but it was pretty to look at it. She quickly turned to Giovanni, as she had not wanted to swim and had fallen asleep, "I didn't ruin today, right?"

The two enjoyed their meal. Well more Nimue than him. After they finished she managed to ninja him and pay first. They listened to the music. Mostly Nimue did and he enjoyed how she leaned her head on his shoulder. She said how she just thanked him for today. He smiled and put and arm around her waist to embrace her.
Nimue asked if he minds if they went home. Giovanni smiled and kissed her on the lips, after which he said "Lets go home, amore" and soon the two would slowly walk together back to the car. He sat at the drivers seat and she did sit beside him. As he drove, he allowed her to set the music in his car. Whether it be radio or one of his CD's. As he drove them home, he smiled and just thought what was in his mind. Home. Their home. She considered his place home. He liked that. He liked that a lot. They were getting closer and closer and he adored that.
He glanced at Nimue as she spoke up, but focused mostly on the road
"Darling. Today was amazing. Beautiful. So peaceful and joyous. One of my happiest days. You didnt ruin anything. I just hope you enjoyed today as much as I did" he said as he drove them home
Eventually the loving couple arrived home. Once inside, Giovanni threw the keys on a lil table that was nearby. He kissed Nimue on the lips "Mmm, salty~" he teased "Come on." he takes her hand "Lets shower. We cant do anything if we're salty" he then feels his hair and yeah, he feels dirty. He smiles gently and takes her to the shower where they can wash good. Once the two are done with that and once the duo feels so rested and relaxed, Giovanni feels at peace. He carries Nimue to the bed and kisses her on the lips once again, before covering her with the bedsheets. Giovanni meanwhile layed on the bed above said bedsheets. He wasnt in bed. He just stared at Nimue lovingly as he twirled and played with a lock of her hair. He was a happy man. This peace was all he ever wanted and he feels great. Life just felt so perfect for him. Everything else was irrelevant to him. But whatever he does, it doesnt matter. The world can burn and he can be burning it for all he cares, but having Nimue is what matters. As long as this peace and this happiness is there. He is happy
