ASTA Corporate Headquarters was home to many divisions, but one in particular had been getting a lot of press recently. The newly formed Hero Sponsorship Program had taken the nation by storm, it had changed things irrevocably. A company backing a professional hero was nothing short of game-changing. Some supported the idea, some were vehemently against it, while others wanted to wait and see. Even so, there needed to be test cases; examples to go by, one in particular had just arrived at the company's fashion and design department on the fifth floor of the corporate tower, located in the heart of Tokyo.
There were dozens of rooms and suites on the fifth floor dedicated to various test fashions; design studios, concept fabric creation, even laboratories for manufacturing new types of materials. But the centerpiece was the photo-studio. ASTA's signature light-based holosimulation technology allowed for the photographers to create environments with little waste. The studio itself was a large white platform, ceiling and walls that reminded one of an empty set from a television sit-com. Cameras were set up outside looking in through the sole open wall. Several models stood here and there talking to photographers while corporate staff observed from the side. Yet one person that stood out more than others was one of ASTA's first Hero Support Agents, Rikart Bolin. The man had silver hair, black thick-rimmed spectacles, pointed cat ears and a tail that flicked left and right as he regarded the room. His suit was tidy and almost neurotically clean. He had a clip board in one hand and was taking short-hand notes with the other.
A photographer spoke up; "Yumi-san! You're up!" Came a small shout. The platform flickered a few times and an unseen wind passed over the set from some invisible source. The next thing those watching knew, there was a beach set waiting for the newly minted model to step into. Rikart glanced to his left at the girl in short shorts and tube top. The off-white bleached denim and gleaming red pseudo-fabric of the top made for quite the sight. His smile was reserved, more a gleam in his heterochromic eyes. The new fabric was heatproof and could handle sudden bursts of speed and strength without tearing. A common concern among quirkers.
"You look great-" He was cut off when he glanced up at the sound of the metallic doors opening in the rear of the room. His face set in a mixture of pleasant chill and...tension.
"Am I on time?" Another voice, feminine, firm, and showstopping. Everyone turned to see the faint glow of a white halo around the woman that strode into the photo shoot. She wore a stylish skirt, dress shirt, vest and tie in stark white; only her tie being a pale pink color. A smile crept across her ethereal face as a pair of glowing pink eyes swirled to adjust to the mixed lighting. Silver hair danced behind her as she drew closer to Rikart and his charge; "I didn't want to miss your first shoot with us, Miss Tasukai," Sonya Chernova said with a playful croon. | TAG WORDS NOTES

Since she’d started taking the whole modelling career thing seriously once her blog took off, Yumi’s shoots had slowly been ticking more and more up scale as she grew in general popularity. Her work on her blog helped her get her foot in the door initially, and as her ‘real life’ self and her cosplay work both grew in popularity she was getting more and ore upscale gigs and… well. Hearing that ASTA had been looking for heroes to take under some sort of sponsorship and also had a growing fashion division of the company, Yumi had managed to use her resume to get a sponsorship coupled with a part time modelling gig on a more permanent basis than those that had come before.
She’d been called in for her first shoot, something for the upcoming summer sports lines. Her first outfit she was trying was a bit revealing, a tube top and some short shorts, but… eh. Its not like she had much shame in wearing stuff like that and she’d modelled stuff like that before, both because she was paid to and because she’d made it for her cosplay blog so it wasn’t a big deal. She was just… faintly on edge, if only because of what Red had let slip to her. She… still wasn’t sure she believed any of it, but ya know… best to keep her eyes forward.
She was getting called up for her shoot, a bright smile across her features as she bounded up ready to pose for her shoot, when a sound seemed to catch the attention of everyone in the room. Dressed in a bit of a spunky, classy attire, something eye catching but clearly upscale and refined in it's design, Yumi was more than a little caught off guard that on her first day working for ASTA, she was coming face to face with the CEO, her Amber eyes growing wide and her voice caught in her throat a little from the surprise.
“M-miss Chernova!” She blurted out, just stunned to see her here, her voice staggering for a moment before bowing her head a little, her hands over her lap. She wasn’t the most used to Japanese formalities thanks to her European mother but she tried her best for someone this important. “S-sorry, I er…” She lifted her head, hugging an arm a little awkwardly over the top of her tube top. “J-just… this is for the shoot, as I’m sure you can guess…”

There was a very brief, almost invisible, moment of apprehension on Rikarts face as she approached. She held his gaze for a heartbeat before looking back at the flustered girl. She was a natural beauty, just like her peers. Though while Rowan was a work of classical art, Yumi's was a red hot beauty, fiery. She tilted her head when Yumi dipped her own, an awkward pose taking over. Sonya let out a small laugh and reached out, tapping the girl once on the chin.
"No need to be so formal, you're part of our family now," She said with a mute grace, "Stand up straight and let me see you," She ordered a little firmly. She took a few laps around her, making slow strides and sizing up every inch of Yumi Tasukai; her expression bounded between curious to maybe a little impressed. Either way she stopped after a few loops and regarded Yumi again; "You truly have an intensity to your appearance, breathtaking," Sonya said jovially, tapping her chin and gave the girl one last look up and down. "I want to see her in a suit. Vest and all." She said, more to Rikart than anyone else.
"Ma'am, we already-" She glanced at him from the side before returning to admire Yumi. "I can have a design ready and fitted for her within the week," He said quickly, inclining his head. She smiled at him and nodded.
"You are one of the best, stop doubting yourself so much Rikart," She said, patting his shoulder and giving Yumi another appraising look; "Go ahead dear, enjoy your shoot, I will enjoy watching you from right here," She said, holding the girls gaze for a second longer than what was probably appropriate for acquaintances before sitting down on a small sofa set up against the wall. She crossed her legs and waved for Rikart to join her. | TAG WORDS NOTES

With Sonya touching her chin, Yumi's usual instincts with a... honestly she may be misreading this, but if she was right, 'flirty' older woman was taking over. Much like with her teacher Alisa as confident and calm as she could be with issues in that regard with most people, having to deal with someone technically 'above her' left her a little more unsure how to respond and how to act in their presence... buuuut it wasn't exactly unwelcome in most cases either. Afterall it wasn't like Sonya wasn't pretty... though Yumi should keep in mind Red's suspicions about her. Yumi still wasn't sure she believed him, or rather, believed Yuuto about what had happened that day, so she just had to make sure she was keeping her wits about her.
"W-well I dunno about 'part of the family' but I'm certainly happy to work under you Miss Chernova." She almost went to bow her head again, but clearly stopped halfway in the act, swallowing a hard little gulp as she realized her instincts were still to be formal, but she'd loosen up given a moment. Asked to stand straight, she did so with a curious expression, interlocking her fingers behind her rear so as to push her general figure more 'forward', pulling back her shoulders and straightening her toso. The compliment definitely gave her a small blush. "T-thank you!~" She felt a bit odd being examined almost like prized catel at a fair or something, but the compliment was still a delight to hear. "I-I work real hard to keep myself in shape for the hero course but I do a lot of skin care too... try not to go too hard on the make up of course, ehehe...~"
The comment about seeing her in a suit had her curious why that was the case, feeling the tap to her chin again and blushing deeper. Was... no. No. Don't make any lewd assumptions... maybe she just... thought she'd look good in a suit. Not just... 'look good in a suit'... God she hates when she was feeling like the nervous one. She had no idea how to work her brain.
"I-I've got a few erm... cosplays on that theme I could show you later, if you like? They're nowhere close to the level of what you make of course, a-and the camera work on my blog dosn't compare to your company of course so I'd definitely look better if-" She paused, breathed and collected her thoughts. "Sorry er... short version, I'd be glad to model such items for you if you like, and I have some images of similar outfits you could look at incase your worried you might waste your time and i don't suit the look ya know?"
Of course the show still had to go on so to speak and with a quick nod Yumi slipped on over to the main area of the shoot, making sure to do her best to be professional. They got a few shoddy takes at first, Yumi looking a bit stiff since Sonya was watching but eventually she got used to it, her motions having some spunk to 'em when she decided on new poses, but clearly willing to work with the camera team to get the image they were looking for. Some poses just standing on her own, some using a motorized bicycle as a prop to sit on or lean against, eventually getting a good couple dozen shots of each pose done for the editing team to work on, Yumi looking over to Sonya as she came back over to let the next model have their time.
"So er... watcha think? Hope I showed I earn the job without JUST being a sponsorship kid... ehehe.."

Sonya watched with rapt fascination as the young woman stepped onto the holographic stage. A little makeup and some movie magic with some 'fake glisten' as the artists like to call it, and it really looked like she was on the beach. A small smile had formed on her face and had lingered there ever since she'd rambled her way through a pitch about cosplay. She glanced over at Rikart who seemed to be fiddling with his tablet; he handed it to her wordlessly and she nodded. So Yumi had a website; numerous pictures were up of her cosplaying in all sorts of outfits. Sonya flipped her way through while glancing up occasionally to appreciate the young woman in her flesh. She handed the tablet back to Rikart; "Thank you dear," She said, getting to her feet.
From what she'd seen, the first couple of shots had been pretty par, but it didn't take her long to get into the act. Posing, working the camera, feeling it, sending shocks of energy and conversation through the studio as they admired the poise, grace, and body of a future pro-hero. She really was a cut above. Sonya's lips formed a thin line for a heartbeat and she controlled those insatiable urges gripping her thumb in her palm and squeezing tight. She of course noticed the girl looking over at her; occasionally while she was browsing the tablet, but mostly with her eyes affixed; a controlled expression on her face. Her mechanical eyes were a little on the hungry side though. When Yumi finished the first round, an aide approached her with a water bottle and Yumi approached.
Sonya gave her a delighted smile; "You really know how to draw the eyes," Sonya said; "More than qualified, from what I saw on your website as well, you have quite the range~" Sonya teased, gracing her with a grin. The girl was a good bit taller than her; but that didn't matter when you dominated the room in other ways. She pursed her lips; "...'short version'..." she said, teasing her a little; "You are beautiful, I'm looking forward to more from you." | TAG WORDS NOTES

Coming back over to Sonya after her shoot, Yumi was beaming proudly for a moment before Sonya let slip she’d been looking at Yumi’s blog too, her cheeks reddening just a smidge at the fact that she’d either just rolled through her blog while she was up there, or she’d done some sort of prior research herself. “W-well it’s mostly a showcase of what I make I guess. I mean most of it’s er… just fun stuff I feel like wearing or maybe something cute if I want a bit of an ego boost from my fans, as few of them as I have. Hhehehe…” She was being somewhat modest of course, she actually had quite the little following, from both in and around Japan. Cosplay stuff was still a bit of a niche market so it wasn’t like she was a celebrity, but she was definitely getting some recognizable fame in those circles. She blushed a little more as she said she’d be glad to seeing more from her, kinda wondering if that was something she’d normally say to one of her models, but Yumi left a bit sheepish from it all the same, a blush on her cheeks as she rubbed the back of her neck, still feeling mildly vulnerable given she was in basically minimal clothes thanks to the theme of the shoot. “W-well I definitely like having a professional modelling gig so I won’t be complaining either… d-did you want me to talk to anyone about getting measured for that like, vest pants combo or should I just expect a text about that when you guys make arrangements?” She of course wanted to make sure she was doing her part as the model and employee to stay on top of things, and she definitely had the time if someone needed to measure her up for that outfit now.

Sonya laughed and waved her hands; "You're so modest!" she reached out and touched Yumi on the shoulder. "Come on now, enough of that, you aren't at school anymore," She placed her hands on her hips and threw her head up, her nose in the air with one pink eye glancing out of the corner to look Yumi in the eye. "This is the world of pride, ego, confidence! You are GORGEOUS! Show it!" She threw her hands to the sides; "Showcase? It's your first resume, and a stacked one," She winked and started walking towards the set where a crew was getting arranged.
"Change of plans! We can do the next apparel set tomorrow, I have Yumi here today and I want to capitalize," She clapped her hands together and pressed her fingertips to her lips with thought, scanning the crew. She didn't want to waste their time. She glanced over at the three models who had booked for the day and smiled, a twinkle in her mechanical eyes. "Set the stage for an urban environment, get one of our motorcycles in here! Special effects, I want fire, smoke, whatever I can get!" She pointed at the three models; "Civilian, Criminal, Yumi's...side kick?" She glanced over her shoulder at Rikart; "That's the correct term, right?"
Rikart tilted his head; "You got side kick right, but I believe the popular criminals like to call themselves villains," Rikart added, Sonya nodded a few times and clapped her hands; "Civilian, Villain, Side Kick! Urban line for the civilian and Yumi, super line B for the villain and side kick. Get an A line suit ready for Yumi as well..." She let out a breath and flicked her hair back, stretching her arms; "Go go go! The publisher is going to love it!" She cheered as the crews scrambled about to appease the CEO. She turned back with a sway of her hips and marched toward Yumi.
"You ready to be fitted for an ASTA Pro Hero suit?" She asked, grinning. | TAG WORDS NOTES

“I guess I’m just the more humble sort, Miss Sonya…” She nervously admitted. Even if in a more private setting she could enjoy the ego boost provided by fans liking the pictures she posted on her blog or even the advertisement doing modelling gigs provided her own ‘personal brand’ so to speak, Yumi wasn’t good at being all ‘me me me’, especially around someone she considered was a superior. She was humble in the faces of her teachers at school and classmates she considered tougher like Jasmine or Tetsuko…. To actually try and seem so self focused infront of them always felt oddly uncomfortable. “B-but thank you, really, I appreciate all the kind words your throwing my way. I-I’m still on my way to being a true professional I guess but… I appreciate you considering my personal work a resume. I doubt many others would consider it so seriously so… yeah. Thanks.~” She was blushing a little now of course, being called gorgeous with such vigor definitely throwing her off balance a little.
Briefly alarmed by the sudden change of plans, her eyes widened up as she seemed to be throwing something together, parting her lips to try and interject but miss Sonya was working so fast with her ideas that Yumi didn’t really get a chance to interject early, a little thrown even by how quickly Sonya was getting everyone to work but… wait they wanted her to model an Asta brand hero costume as some big piece with multiple models? That… that actually sounded pretty fun…
But-wait!
“E-er… not to rain on your parade miss Sonya but just so you know-“ She’d begin, trying to get at least a word in on the matter. “Sorry, I don’t mean to be rude it’s just… my quirk works very specifically with the costume design UA provides along with some schematics from a pen pal who helped design it. I would be more than happy to model some of your in-house designs, absolutely, but I just wanna make sure you’re aware I can’t use my quirk effectively without my own costume…”
For a moment Yumi thought this should be fine, she could model the other costume and just not use her quirk but… the bigger issue came as she realized she just told someone her boyfriend suspected of being a super villain one of her key weaknesses… oi vey. She really hoped he wasn’t on the mark with all this now or her loose lips had really screwed her over on the matter.

Sonya stopped when at last Yumi worked up the nerve to cut her off. She raised an eyebrow and let her head turn slowly as the girl spoke. A few of those present stood, stunned, as she tried to correct the woman who ran the show. Sonya turned on her feet and put her hands on her hips. She tilted her head to the right and took a few steps toward Yumi. She stopped just close enough to tilt her head up and look into the girls eyes. It was always an amusing thing, being a bit shorter than someone, so many tall people these days. Her eyes twinkled with a bit of mischief while the gears turned in her head.
I see She thought.
"Not a problem at all, dear. These are cosmetic choices, practical upgrades and alterations are modified into the fabrics upon development. I don't expect you to know details like that," She tilted her head and gave a serious face; "and of course I would never ask you to use your quirk outside of a lab situation. That is quite illegal," She said, waving a finger almost as if she was chiding Yumi a little. She pursed her lips and looked up, tilting her head again and let a bit of...something into her gaze. Warmth? Maybe something a little less pure. No one could see but Yumi. "Shall we get you changed?"
She asked in a low voice before turning away and clapping her hands with a delighted laugh, tugging and pulling on poor Yumi's heart and mind like a puppeteer. She strode toward the stage and put her hands on her hips, looking at the director who was already sketching up poses and scene ideas. Holo-stage was beginning to look like a city street with buildings on either side. Sonya nodded a few times and looked over her shoulder before breaking into a smile and let out a sigh. She scratched the back of her head and walked over to Yumi again.
"I... okay, so maybe I came on a little hard there, you're probably overwhelmed, this is your first day and my exuberance isn't helping. How about we get you some air and a drink. Do you like juice? Coffee? Cola?" She offered, offering a mixed uncomfortable and apologetic smile. | TAG WORDS NOTES

"O-oh of course I just... I just worried you thought you might have an easy to use quirker or something for shoots and... I dunno. Guess I was worried you might have the wrong idea or..." She shook her head with a little chuckle, still nervous but more on the 'eased' end of the tension scale, getting a little more used to talking to Sonya on even footing. Even if everyone around her briefly seemed stunned by her 'audacity' to talk out against the woman's plan to put her in a hero costume, Yumi was just more relieved to see she didn't take to it too negatively. "Nevermind. Just me being a little nervous and not wanting to dissapoint you or anything. You've been very accomodating afterall what with me needing to work around my school schedule and all so... yeah.~"
Still, despite getting more comfortable she watched as Sonya somewhat leaned in with that warmth in her eyes, backing up a half step before she suddenly turned about and walked off towards the stage, watching it change as she approached into a bit of a city scape... damn. Asta didn't even skimp when it came to set design did they... Yumi had to kinda wonder where all the money was coming from. "Er, sure I'll just..." She'd been a bit dazed so her response to the idea of getting changed came a bit slow, giving Sonya enough time to interupt her flow again with an apology.
"Oh no no. Your fine miss I'm just... like you said it's my first day and I'm super nervous myself. Ya know despite being a hero in training I'm weirdly nervous when it comes to new things I guess..." Plus she had a boyfriend telling her the woman she was working for was some murdering pyschopath who tried to hack into UA but... eh. Was hardly seeming even close to the truth now. "A break would be a little nice though... I tend to be a fan of strawberry milkshake if you have any in like your... Asta cafeteria? I assume you guys have one of those to take breaks in or something?" It was a big building so it didn't seem like too much of a stab in the dark to assume they had like some... communal cafeteria space or whatever right? That or just smaller break rooms on each floor. "O-or just some soda is fine."

Sonya let out a laugh, "Disappoint? Oh no my dear, if anything you've done nothing short of impress me ever since I first heard of you," She said, casually adjusting her weight left and right to ease the pressure on her feet. She nodded once at the comment about accommodation; "I'm your sponsor, not some grouchy investor. My job, and the job of ASTA Corporation, is to see you become as great as you are meant to be," She added, nodding to those around her. "When I brought these people together to form this company, my intention was to be the driving support structure beneath Hero Society, I knew that the private sector and heroes would have to work together eventually, so why not get ahead of the curve, mm?"
She tilted her head to the right, watching the girls face, there was so many emotions that were playing on her face. Curious. Her own colorful eyes glinted with a bit of delight when she suggested a strawberry milkshake. She glanced once at Rikart who was already on his phone and walking out the door. She smiled easily and slid her arm into Yumi's catching her in a tight arm lock before walking her toward the door heading into the main hallway of the building. "There are several break rooms but there's only one communal cafeteria on the first floor, why don't we go down there and you can meet some of the employees?" She glanced up at Yumi; "Oh, did you want a mask or something?" She offered, pointing at one of the changing rooms.
It wasn't hard to imagine that the girl might want to protect her identity and even though the individuals present had been sworn to secrecy there was still a limit on how many people could know a secret before it was no longer a secret. The Hero program took the true identity of the hero students very seriously and Sonya knew well enough not to anger the PSC. That would bring far too much unnecessary attention, besides, she'd finally developed a positive relationship with the organization. She was the last person they were going to be coming after. A small dark glint caught her eye before vanishing as fast as it had come; "Or we could go to the dressing room, it's quiet in there, I'll have Rikart bring what he's fetching there," | TAG WORDS NOTES

"I... I know just..." Well... she didn't actually. She was mostly responding to what the woman said about not being some grouchy investor, and it was kind and reassuring, but hearing the woman had been impressed with her since she heard of her? That was kinda new to be honest. Or, at the very least, a surprise to her system. She shook her head, trying not to get 'too into' that line of thought and trying to brush it off with a light chuckle. "Honestly though did you turn down anyone who applied for a scholarship? I mean my friend Feng got one and... with no offense meant she er..." She lightly tapped the side of her own head with her knuckles. "She's not all... there. Sometimes. She's getting better since she moved in with me and my boyfriend but er... yeah... eheheh..." She didn't really mean to insult Feng, she was very skilled in her own right but... there'd been a lot happening with her lately that left Yumi thinking she mightn't fully trust her if the two of them were in a life or death situation... or, heck, maybe that was the ONLY time she felt she could trust her. Every other time her head was way too far in the clouds. "Still, I appreciate the kind words. I have kinda been struggling with the confidence on and off lately so... it's reassuring, really, thank you."
She blushed a little with surprise as she hooked into her arm, but didn't try to make a big fuss of it, feeling a little more at ease as the seconds passed, hooking her arm back in turn and walking with the woman, though stopping when she pointed out the mask, backing off a little, though far from unnerved. Caught off guard at most and not even about the mask.
"Oh er. I'm not so fussy on the secret identity thing. I mean all I have when I'm in hero mode is the fact my electricity makes my face blue and that's about it, eheheh...~" She let out a loose chuckle, but continued. "Nah I more er..." She gestured over the fact she was still in a tube top and short shorts. "... it might be best I just get some more casual clothes on before I go, but I'd love to meet some of your other employees, just gimme a moment?"
Dipping into the changing rooms Yumi wouldn't take too long. Experience with her cosplays and her model work meaning she was a dab hand at a quirk change, and soon enough she'd come out in some form fitting jeans, a red shirt that clung well to her figure, and an orange hoodie that seemed to be a half cut, clearly more for style than actual warmth though she couldn't complain about the long sleeves. A mismatch of colors, from blue to red to orange, but it was Yumi's style, and she liked it.~ "Sorry, got my casuals now..." She offered her arm in a hook again, feeling more comfortable in her own clothes. "Shall we?~"

Sonya was having the time of her life with all of this. She'd taken pains not to show it too much but the casual flirting to get the girl flustered had been one big game from the get go. She could have been nice and just let the girl do her own thing but where would be the fun in that? Her lips twisted a bit when Yumi asked if she turned anyone down for the scholarship; "We did turn down several applicants, actually," She said gently and nodded once; "I've met with Feng, and her eccentricities are honestly part of the appeal," Sonya said, tapping her nose and winking; she nodded when Yumi thanked her. Her voice getting a little soft; "You're welcome, dear, think nothing of it,"
Sonya was relieved to hear the girl did not have any need of a mask, she lead her over to the changing rooms and after a few minutes the girl was out in something a bit more 'wholesome' for interacting with the employees of ASTA corporation. She offered a hook of her arm and Sonya gave her a borderline flirtatious look. "Bold. I like it." She said, wrapping her arm into Yumi's arm and leading her to the door and out into the hallway. It took almost five minutes to get to the cafeteria during which time Sonya explained how the meal plans and staff housing worked. "Full employees of ASTA Corporation get a number of benefits based on their living situation. Many of them are quirkers who have various problems with landlords or other such situations. Three meals a day are provided to employees and they can order from a menu, most usually just get breakfast and lunch, no one wants to be here all day," She laughed, "And I live here," She pointed upward before continuing on.
"There is a terrace apartment complex northwest of here in one of the more urban residential areas of Central Tokyo. ASTA Owns the property and leases the apartments to employees, especially those who have had their living situation upended for one reason or another related to their quirk," She pressed her hand against the cafeteria door and they stepped into a large room with postmodern style aesthetics built into the wall and windows. Tables were spread evenly throughout and screens were hanging from the celing with all sorts of information. Employees were scattered about, eating while some were standing at Kiosks to place orders. The lunch crew were working hard behind a pane of glass with a dispenser pushing out finished meals and announcing numbers on completion.

Yumi felt... oddly reassured, hearing that there were in fact people turned down for sponsorships. Briefly a paranoid thought that Red had applied and now he was just bitter passed through her mind but it wasn't a thought that would linger long. Red wasn't the kind of person to care much about stuff like this even if he didn't have his crazy theory so it wasn't like it was realistic to assume there was anything going on there. She didn't try to be toooo satisfied knowing that people had been turned down either. Afterall, it was kinda rude to take satisfaction in other people failing where you succeed.
She chuckled a little when she came back from being changed, hooking arms with the Asta CEO without much of a care or second word about it, a little more comfortable in her own clothes and lightly squeezing the arm hooked into hers, showing some of her natural, playful affection. She listened along as she heard what the food and living situation was for her employees, more than a little surprised by the generosity she displayed and how that all worked out for her employees. The idea she just straight up provided housing for those who needed it was more than a little stunning but... it was a little nugget of information she'd store away for when she needed it. "Ya know I gotta say for a CEO your... a lot more generous with your business policies than I ever would have expected? You hear horror stories about people at your level mostly just caring for yourself at the expense of your workers so I almost feel like I'm missing a trick here. Like, secretly there's some weird tax dodge or something by providing housing for your employees but... all in all I gotta say it's damn impressive to hear about...~"
Looking around the cafeteria as they arrived, Yumi's eyes flared a little as she took it all in, sinking her hands into her pockets and just taking in the air of the place, shooting a warm smile Sonya's way and gesturing to the cafeteria line. "I'll go order up for us if you wanna find your seat? I assume the boss lady has a special table for when she eats down here afterall.~" She offered with a sly wink and a light pull of her tongue. Yumi didn't mind putting their orders up herself, given she'd need to see what was even on the menu afterall.

Sonya raised an eyebrow at the girl as she hooked arms with her. She grinned off to the side, making sure Yumi didn't see her face. It was a damn shame she was a student and an intern. There was a line right there that Sonya wouldn't dare cross, as much as it would be one hell of a good time from the looks of it. She rolled her eyes and told herself to behave. She'd have fun later. Instead, she threw herself into the moment, savoring the close contact even as they entered the room and parted, Yumi couldn't help but question her a little. Sonya scratched her nose and rested her hands on her hips, tilting her head left and right. "My salary is not nearly as large as most CEOs," She admitted, "But I'll be frank with you, Yumi," She looked out at the people gathered at the cafeteria and then at her. "All I want to do is be the person I needed when I was a little girl," She said, running a hand down a strand of silky silver hair.
She laughed; "But there is actually a tax credit for providing low cost housing, they still pay rent but if I take a little off it does look good to the tax man, I won't lie about that," She said, "But..." She gave a rueful smile; "Insurance companies aren't exactly forgiving on a property that is intended for quirkers... premiums and all that," She said sadly, but broke into a smile; "But, thank you. That means a lot. I do what I do because I want to, because its the right thing to do, and if I make money on the side; what's the harm, right?" She laughed and nodded as the girl eagerly sought out a chance to check out the spread. Sonya waved her off, laughing out loud at the suggestion that she had her own table. Of course she didn't. She walked over to one of the tables near the window and sat down with about three employees, asking them to make sure that the seat across from her was free for Yumi.
She spoke with them lightheartedly while she waited, laughing and nodding now and then until Yumi arrived; "Everyone, this is Yumi. She's a Hero Student and a sponsored model, Yumi, this is Sayaka from Engineering, Totsuno from Fabrication, and Jin from the Cosmetics department," She said, gesturing to each of them who all eagerly greeted her. They went back to their eating and talking as if it was totally normal to have their bosses bosses bosses boss just sit with them. Sonya just rested her chin on her palm, elbow on the table, and smiled at Yumi.
