“Heh, well most CEOs don’t even actually use half of their salary so I doubt you’re missing out much on the experience.~” She playfully teased back with a smile, feeling more comfortable with Miss Sonya now that she was back in her own clothes and not so, well, literally exposed. The thought of which did bring a brief and suppressed chuckle from behind her lips. “And, well, it’s definitely an admirable goal. I keep thinking when I become a hero the main thing I wanna be is… human? I know we’re meant to be like, the highlights of society, what people look up to but… I want people to be able to look at me and realize you don’t have to be some grand ideal to be a good person? You can still make mistakes and slip up but… maybe that’s just me… eheheh..~” Seemed a lot of her fellow students didn’t share that ideal afterall..
She rose her brow a bit and chuckled a little as Sonya confirmed there was actually a tax benefit to it all, buuuut with quirker discrimination it meant that she was still probably eating some losses in the long run. She let out a sigh but.. “Hey if it means anything maybe those’ll be illegal soon? Or… hell in a couple generations its not like anyone will have to worry about it. That old saying. When everyone’s special no one will be and soon it’ll either be removed or just be the outright norm. Not… the nicest thought we just have to wait it out but there’ve been a few pro quirk politicians popping up right? We’ll probably be seeing change with that stuff before ya know it.~” She nodded along though when Sonya asked what the harm was in her situation. “Well nothing at all, if anything you’re doing a world of good.”
Yumi was a little surprised that she didn’t have her own table, but she was even more surprised when she looked for that silver head of hair and saw her sitting at a table that was already partly occupied. Yumi came back over with her two trays of food, smiling warmly albeit a little nervously at the strangers she was being introduced to, a bit of her nerves showing in a chuckle she let out. This was… nice. Honestly Sonya’s kindness kept stunning her every time.
“Well… it’s nice to be here.~”
