{ } As the bell went she could quickly finish her remark to Tony, he mentioned her snuggly plans and that he should try it out, "You definitely should." And as she heard the bell she quickly scribbled her phone number on a napkin and gave it to him before waving him off. God Momo what did you just do, the first person you talk to and you quickly slide him your number, really that was so mature... She wasn't sure if she really hated it because the conversation had really worked out. He is a pro-hero, yes but he is also here himself so it didn't matter that he might be busy. She quickly looked up as the places were swapped and stared with surprise at her colleague. She opened her mouth to say something but wanted to adjust that, hm how. "How nice to see you Murakami-san, I never imagined to bump into you here but to be honest, I am not sure yet if this is something for me." She did not want to offend him, everyone should be able to look for love and Tobias wasn't the exception, he was really kind and everything, she thought him more of a shy type and she looked up when she noticed he was holding a book, "Oh, what are you reading?" Books always sparked her interest and she was therefore definitely enthusiastic to know about it. It was really weird, not because of Tobias but because she wanted to know at this right point how the others were doing. Were they having fun? What was the point of this, shit she had texted someone to remind her to never do this again, right this was definitely awkward if you thought of that but she quickly focused on Tobias. He should get her attention, maybe she would learn more about him than just in the library. MADE BY VEL OF GS

In the end of the conversation, Mosa could very much say, that Freya was clearly a very fine lady. Hearing all this about her gave him an image of someone very responsible, ready to handle whatever duty came her way, whilst trying to keep those working with her safe. Someone who was sort of a parental figure in a way... though maybe a bit too harsh for a girl like Kasumi. He wasn't sure if this sort of active lady was what he needed. Although... "I'm more of a pacifist so... I have no real combat experience." He waved his hand casually. "Admittedly, I prefer trying to prevent things ever coming to that." Maybe one day he would need to study combat proper... he didn't like it, but a discussion with a certain student had really hit him deep...
Admittedly, Mosa was happy that Freya took his question seriously. That and well, didn't exactly mock him for it, aside from pointing out how bold it is. "In my duty, you sometimes have to just spit things out, or things never move forward... Not that it's been a problem here..." Hearing her call teaching and taking care of them a perk was a huge plus in Mosas eyes. Admittedly, he was very curious about WHAT she would try to inspire them about...
But sadly, soon Deltas shout told them that it was time to split. "Oh, bother... Just when the discussion was getting good..." Mosa proceeded to dig into his pocket... and gave a simple calling card to her. "I will say, I enjoyed talking with you. And I would like to discuss with you on other matters as well. I hope that doesn't come off as creepy... I haven't done this before. Am I supposed to save them till the end?" He fixed his collar a little bit, as he stood up from his chair. However, he felt like giving one last comment. "And honestly. You do not seem that scary to me. Albeit, I have not seen your uh... 'on duty' face. I've heard Red Horns is quite like something out of the comic books." He chuckled to himself briefly, before moving forward towards his next table...
...And Mosas eyes widened behind his glasses... the next one, was wild in a whole different way. And that was sort of weird considering the last one as a hero had the name of hound. Well, either way, Mosa had gotten a bit braver today already, so sitting down at the table wasn't an issue. A simple greeting was thrown his way. Mosa had heard this sort of beginnings to a conversation a couple of times back at work... Some students just didn't feel like putting much effort into the conversations... But hey, he worked with what he got.
"Yes, I would say so." Not a hint of lying. "There is a reason why my job involves talking with people a lot... It's always interesting to see different perspectives to things." He tapped his finger on the table. The lady meanwhile, sipped some wine into her. "Admittedly, I do not often drink alcohol. Which might be a bit awkward for the mood of the place." A dry joke. His classic style. Of course there were the drinks back at the church, but those were usually a bit more metaphorical in nature. He scratched his jaw.
"But in the end, the important thing here, is to meet new people and get to know them somewhat. And hey, I enjoy that a lot so... How about you yourself? I assume you are a bit more social?" The way she drank the wine so casually implied something of the sort.

Aeris Leon Pro-Hero || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Quote Here A psychological study in its own right. One could definitely say that. She was learning a lot about the librarian with this brief meeting. His question about Psychology being of interest for her rang in. She never really discussed it with anyone at school other that Hatsumono, who was a couple tables away from her. “As a matter of fact, it is. I have a master’s degree in Psychology as well as working on my Thesis to become a Doctor.” Just as she was about to ask him about the library sciences, they were interrupted by the bell. Seems their time was up. "Perhaps we could finish this discussion Monday at school.” She waved to Tobias as he made his way to the other table.
Next up, an older gentleman with glasses and a dashing figure. Watching his stride and movement from the previous table suggested he did not have a pleasant time there. Almost a bit of frustration in his shoulders. Eyes darted over to the woman, wondering if she had perhaps instilled a bit of the bad mood, or if she just did not help the case, as she had done with Tobias previously. Seeing his name tag though lifted her a bit to a straighter back seat. Emil. While she could not pick out the specific language of origin for the name, it was nice to meet another Euro in this place. Maybe she could drive down a little shot in the dark to see where he hailed from. “Konbanwa, Bonsoir, Buona Serata, Bună seara, Guten Abend, and Good Evening Emil.” She spoke out as he approached his chair. It was the same thing spoken in six different languages. In order Japanese, French, Italian, Romansh, German, and English. Whichever he responded to, she would be able to pick out a closer region.

Ah, what a shame for the round to have to end so soon. Tony was expecting this at some point, since this was a speed date after all. Still, it felt like time flew by far too quickly. And he was liking his conversation with Momo too. Oh well. But just before he had to move to another table, Tony saw Momo scribbling her number on a napkin and quickly sliding it to him. Smiling, he quickly did the same for her. He definitely wanted to chat with her again sometime.
But would the next lady be just as interesting? Or possibly even more so? Well, there was only one way to find out! So after quickly waving goodbye to Momo (and ignoring Centaurion who was loudly yawning within Tony's mind), Tony went over to the table on his right, sitting down on the empty seat and taking a small sip of his wine as he looked at the next girl, whose name was Chiyuri according to the name tag. She wasn't a mutant, or at least did not have a drastic difference in appearance compared to other women. But hey, Tony was far more interested in a woman's personality than her looks, so he was eager to see what Chiyuri would be like.
"Hello! Enjoying your time here so far?" Sure, it was only the start of the second round of chats, but Tony was already having a good time. He was curious on Chiyuri's thoughts. Did she enjoy talking with the guy before him? Would this conversation be better? Worse, perhaps? Or about the same?
Seeing as everyone here had name tags, introductions felt redundant and therefore worth skipping. Not that Tony was being rude or intended to come off as so, but with the limited time the participants had, it was best to make every moment count. "So if you don't mind going first, why don't you tell me about yourself, señorita?" Tony wanted to learn about Chiyuri, listen to what she had to say, see just what kind of person she was. Ladies first, because why not?

As Wagyu left, the swaps began – Chiyuri continued to drink, as she was meant to stay seated, and waited for the next dude to come along. After a few moments, said dude did come and take a seat. Like the bull, he was also pretty damn buff, muscles practically gasping to released from the outfit he was wearing. Nametag read “Tony”, and he walked with purpose, so it seemed like he was a serious dude. Hearing his entrance line, it was pretty weak, but there was stuff to work with. “'Sup. I guess you could say this shit is enjoyable, although hopefully you ain't a sellout like the last guy.” she said, looking him up and down. Damn, longer hair than most girls she'd seen back in NYC. Kinda odd that most of the people in the city these days were some bizarre lookin' guys and gals.
Being asked to go first, along with a flirtatious call in Spanish, Chiyuri laid out the law of her life to Tony, in the best way she could. “Check it, you see this name? Chi-yu-ri, and don't you forget it, man. In the easiest sense, you could say that what I do is pretty fuckin' rad – I make music, music for the streets, by the streets. I remix stuff, take samples, make it my own, and get it out there for all the cats in Tokyo. Doesn't pay much – well, at all, really. But that's not the point, yo! It's to get at the soul, the living, breathing, pounding hearts of everyone who can dig it.” she said, getting pretty into her deal, sounding a bit more like a pitch than a date opener. Perhaps his wasn't so bad after all.
“So, that's me, what about you? What do you do, my guy? I swear if it's the same as last time... sorry. Just spit, dude.” she said, asking quite frankly about Tony's job.

As Delta made the call to change, Freya was ready to switch. Although the conversation was going well, the night was still young and there's more people to talk to. Mosa did leave a card for him and she picked it up and examined it. Rather forward from a man like him, even though he is still a but round in some places. But not a bad start to the night either way. Though deciding now would be a waste as she needs to window shop a bit more before she could decide. He does get some points for his comments on her looks. Sweet enough to make a girl blush, but let's set that aside for now. “Catch ya around '' She would say to Mosa as went.
He moved over a Delta rang the bell and she pockets the card with his number waits for the next guy to come over. Oh its the Minotaur dude, big bull and imposing. A mighty strong first impression but got to see how he reacts to a woman like her. Though she was feeling hungry and debated on getting a bite to eat. But she will save it until it gets REAL bad since it would be terrible manners to do something like this. A part of her regrets not grabbing a bite to eat before hand but she was already late as is. His name is a bit fucked up though but she wil have to look past it to see what kind of man she is talking to.
“So, Names Freya. What's yours?”, Freya asked is a straightforward manner as she takes a sip of her drink. Gotta keep the ball rolling and see how the big bull reacts to a lioness.

Post by Wagyu Utari on Dec 3, 2019 20:05:35 GMT -4
Just as things were getting exceedingly awkward between him and Chiyuri, a bell from the host’s direction cut in, interrupting the both of them. He gave her a polite nod and a wave, and stood to change tables. Almost immediately, he felt a second wave of fear overtake him. Freya’s muscles were about as large as his own, and she was eyeing him up like a piece of meat. Or, she was just hungry. The awkward atmosphere was making him far more nervous than he usually was.
“Well, uh, it’s, on the name tag, but Wagyu. Wagyu Utari.” He replied to Freya, not quite meeting her eyes. God, how was she so confident in a situation like this? How had her last round gone, anyway? Was she just as overwhelming to the previous man?
“Ah, so, uh…” Already, he was out of conversation topics. Asking about work didn’t seem a good idea, nor did it seem necessary. They were both Pros, that was all there was to say about it. “So, uh, do you have any hobbies? Outside of, well, hero work, I mean…”
"I'm uh, I'm actually a very avid reader. Recent fiction, or fiction from before Quirks emerged, mostly. It's, well, still a little hard to find media nowadays where the mutants aren't the villains, though..."

TOTO, I DON'T THINK THIS IS A BOOK CLUB. THE MASSIVE MAN UNFOLDED HIMSELF from the chair at the toll of the bell, smiling faintly.
"Until next time, then," he agreed, "I'll bring the tea."
It was a well-known fact that the librarian had a steady supply of tea that he would more than happily share with anyone who needed it. His gaze trailed to the next table, and... oh, his eyes went wide. He could feel his cheeks growing warm. Thank god for the obsidian carapace.
"Tsuchiya-san," he replied. His look of alarm-- which was clear despite his stony shell-- resolved it something to more polite. A closed-mouth smile. He took his seat, setting his book on his lap, and clasping his hands to lean forward.
"You have Orlov-sensei to thank for that," he said politely, "Would you believe he told me that this was a blind book-date? I thought I'd get to exchange books with someone."
He chuckled, a tad self-deprecating, and he ran a hand over the uneven surface of his skull.
“Oh, this? British Deities,” he replied. He was beginning to resent the book. Maybe he could have Tsuchiya hide it under her chair? He cleared his throat, "It's a contemporary fantasy about an ex-convict who becomes a bodyguard for a mysterious man... and ends up in the midst of a war between New Gods and Old Gods.”
He could feel himself winding down from the first meeting. Tsuchiya was familiar. Tsuchiya was comfortable. Evene if Leon-san was a teacher, he and Leon didn't cross paths as often. He smiled apologetically and laughed, "Gracious, sorry, I am so high-strung right now."
He removed the book from his lap, and slid it across the table towards Tsuchiya for her own inspection. Maybe she would like it. Maybe he could leave it with her. He sighed, composing himself, "It's wonderful to see you, too, Tsuchiya-san."
He couldn't very well tell every woman that he wasn't supposed to be here, right? He might as well try to embrace the chaos and try to make the best of it. Especially with the comfort of a familiar face to help make the transition a little easier.
"I'm... admittedly surprised to see you here, too," Tobias remarked, unfolding and refolding his hands. So perhaps seeing a coworker made him a bit nervous. She was very pretty, but he was trying, "You're such an elegant woman, and you have such an ease with people..."
Tobias wasn't sure where to finish the thought-- "...unlike me?" no, that would totally kill the mood, whatever that mood might be. "...so why are you here?" also kind-of awkward.
"... I could see you going to a jazz club," he concluded.
Okay, weird mental image, but-- that really was the vibe that Tsuchiya gave.
"What... do you like to do in your spare time?" he pried. Reading, he knew. She frequented the library rather routinely. But... what else? That was the point of these things, right? To get to know people?
