| Luka Quirk: Infernal Slime Hero Name: Genesis | |
Luka sat quietly thought most of the questions as he continued to inventory himself and considered the sort of situation that they were getting sent into. As their teacher indicated the location they were heading to, Luka looked over at the forest, the boy immediately considering what would be needed to make the most effective use of the terrain. Forests had plenty of options for food and shelter, but visibility could be quite poor, and with a group as large as the one he was going to be leading... well, he'd have a disadvantage there. He turned his golden eyes over the First Year students in the bus and frowned slightly. Considering the attitudes of a few of them, he might be at even more of a disadvantage than it looked. Although that Jack kid seemed like he'd be a handful to work with as well, high point score or no.
As Jaeger turned his attention to the right, Luka caught sight of the figures much like many of the others. He had to double take when he saw the figure of Scylla on the hill, he'd pretty much assumed that it was the role Elise was going to be taking, but she was up on the hill. His confusion only grew as slime enveloped the bus... was the Elise here a fake? Or was the one on the hill? Maybe a copycat quirk? His mind raced for answers even as his body began to move. Even as the rest of the students began to react to the sudden attack from the distant figures, Luka's body began to soften, become translucent, and run into a river of blue slime.
Tendrils of the substance shot out everwhere throughout the bus, the small boy essentially filling the interior with a safety net of his own slime (non-stick of course). He could see others trying to mitigate the damage from the sudden attack on the bus, but figured his own abilities would help the most to limit injury. Well, his and Elise's... assuming she was the real Elise, and assuming she would actually help out. One of Luka's slime tendrils wrapped around Isamu when it was clear the older teen looked like he was about to be bounced around, and Luka focused mainly on helping everyone remain safely in place, or at least prevent them from hitting anything dangerous as the bus bounced and rolled in its' cocoon of slime.
Once the bus had ceased moving, Luka withdrew his slime, looking around as he sat there in his orb-like form with a tired expression on his face. It seemed that nearly everyone was out of it in some way or another, including his sister. With a slight sigh, the slime boy slid over towards the emergency windows of the bus and busted it open, pressing a spike of his slime against the bus' cocoon as he tried to get out. With Elise unconscious he should be able to... like a pimple being popped the blue Slime slide out of the cocoon with surprising rapidity, a slight cheer of success emerging from him. Until he realised he was not alone. Looking up into the figure of the Kunoichi, he couldn't help but swear as he was enclosed in a constricting cocoon of pink slime.

Graham did feel as though he should listen to the answers to all the questions the fellowship of the bus had to ask. If he wished to be of the most use to his team, he should of course not fall behind on anything, including but not limited to intelligence. That was what this fell under technically, wasn't it? No matter, what did matter were the answers.
A strange, cryptic warning against hiding the objective cards came first, sparking the young man's curiosity. What could endanger the card if it were to be hidden away? A number of things were possible, perhaps the villain in play would try and steal them from their location? It was entirely possible, likely even, that the cards' locations would be tracked. No matter, they'd not have to deal with any such possible scenario in the first place if he had a semblance of a say in the matter. Inter-team teamwork was also permitted, though unlikely in his opinion. None of the people here had it in them to stab their classmates in the back, but could they all overcome the fear of such a thing occurring anyway and trust the other team? Doubtful, unless a point of true desperation were to be reached.
One more question and one more answer; they could order practically anything at the supply nodes, interesting. Perhaps he could find himself proper carbon tools through those if nothing else worked. That would depend on the quantity of supplies they'd be able to request from such a node, however, since he'd hate to deny the team something to sate his own needs, let alone for something he'd been so foolish to forget in the first place. Though, to be fair to himself, it had been a rather hectic morning.
It seemed any talking was done for the moment, and Graham might as well grant himself the pleasure of enjoying the view outside. The city had been left behind at some point, seeing as all he could see was a tremendous woods, the natural beauty giving meaning to the smile on his lips. He didn't often have the opportunity to gawk at lustrous landscapes, especially from such a nice vantage point. Even though most of what was visible was the sprawling network of branches and their thick green coats of leaves, the sight of the sheer scale of it all was and always would be one to behold.
Perhaps he was placing a bit too much of his attention on the view, however. Mr Jaeger had started talking again, and it took him a few moments to properly tune in mentally. Something about the other side of the bus, he heard? Friends of Spymaster? Tremors shaking his seat, shortly followed by any natural light being blocked out, did not do anything to assist. In fact, it could be ascertained these effects worsened his confusion. What in the world was going on? The bus was stopped and the condition outside of it was unknown. Having grabbed on to the seat in front of him reflexively, he was capable of absolutely no meaningful action in the coming moments, aside from bracing himself as well as possible. As the rest of the bus was filled with shouts, screams and a variety of quirk effects - petals, slime, glowing auras, et cetera - it also happened to be tumbling off the cliffside, as far as his incredibly panicked vestibular system could tell, and it didn't take particularly long for consciousness to escape him.

It had all happened rather suddenly. Unexpectedly even, a sudden attack by the three shinobi on the nearby cliff had come unexpected, and the consequences of it seemingly severe. The two wall of earth that were raised to block the path of the bus led to the vehicle to come to a stand-still, and before she had even the chance to properly react the bus was starting to become encased in slime, mere moments before the vehicle was send falling off the cliff and into the forest below.
The fall clearly was disastrous, some felt panic, others tried to bravely protect their classmates, yet as the students started to lose consciousness they would all experience the same view: just when their visage started to fade away cocoon-like contraptions wrapped around them, but whether to protect or imprison them remained to be seen.
With the crash and her efforts to help protect those who needed to be protected, Elise collapsed onto the floor of the bus, panting softly. "If I knew you had this insanity planned I would have given her more fluids..."
Elise muttered in frustration while her body started to lose its structure and fall into a puddle of slime just as Luka had started to make his way out of the crashed bus where quite a unpleasant surprise awaited him. The slime boy was standing right in front of the one the class had been warned about: the kunoichi, with the other shinobi at each of her side.
Heaving a sigh it was the kunoichi who spoke first. "Ara~ Ara~ You really are a handful to deal with sometime Luka~" A brief smile lingered on her lips as she pulled a hand toward the teenager, and from the valve in her gauntlet a stream of slime poured outwards with the intention of capturing the last student.
It didn't take much longer before she scooped up the cocooned slime, like some sort of weird pink football and addressed Jaeger inside the bus. "Jaeger-sensei this wasn't part of the deal! I was meant to do a simple infiltration and theft mission, instead you are turning this into 'THIS?!'" she gestured at the collapsed vehicle, giving the man not a moment of rest as she continued to rant at him. "How did my master ever approve of this, how did you even get clearance for the school to put your students at risk like this?!"
The shinobi at her side smiled weakly. "Now now Elise-kun, give the man a chance to breathe, besides what comes next is some good training for them." The comment only infuriated the girl even further. "Training?! This forest is Spymaster's personal training ground! Disregarding the fact they are first years, you expect them to clear the obstacles of this forest?!"
The female at her other side snickered mischievously. "They better do if they want dinner and a bed to sleep in." It really seemed that this type of camping trip had been unexpected, both for the students and the accomplice of Jaeger's misadventures!

After the chaos subdued a soft cluck came from under one of the seats, the captain hopping out of the vehicle while being trailed by Jaeger who was holding his head lightly. "Wow, that was a once in a week experience for sure, kinda like a rollercoaster! but less safe..."
The man laughed heartily, clearly disregarding the severity of the situation and the complains of the second years student in front of him. "Calm down tentacle monster~ We both know the camping trip would had been less exciting if we told them they would participate in a ninja obstacle course. It's more fun to make them believe they got attacked by villains, right?"
He laughed softly and tapped the ball that Luka was in. "You remember the rules right? Students get split into teams of two, got to make their way along an obstacle course and at the end get a surprise~"
He smiled as he grabbed a hold of the ball and started to shake it lightly. "Ya heard that Luka boy? Since you're still conscious I got something special planned for you and your sister~"
He snickered and started to juggle the ball into the air. "Get the others to carry the cocooned students to their starting spots, then it's show-time!"
- Prepare for the next part of your trip Soon~
