Everything had been set in motion, although it took some effort and convincing for the faculty to allow him to let the new students go on a camping trip so early in the school year, the combined efforts of himself and Kiryu-sensei had turned this idea into a reality. Of course, it would not be an ordinary camping trip, for those were boring and didn't really feel like something that involved survival.
No, they would get quite an adventure to deal with!
Jaeger was in a delightful mood, standing in front of the bus that would take the students to their destination. Of course, like every well-mannered teacher he had a list of the students that would be attending to make certain everyone was present, after all nobody was gonna be left behind! At least on the campus...
The Captain seemed just as excited for the event, perched on top of the bus the glorious chicken was spreading her wings, almost as if she was ready to take flight, but according to the stories, chickens don't fly... Then what was she doing? Only time would tell...
"Only a matter of time before good old Kiryu gets here Captain, I'm telling you those kids are gonna have one hell of a good time. This trip might even be more exciting than the internships! Hah!"

Kumoko was excited. She could not wait to go out camping! She loved the outdoors. The fresh air, the campfire, the stories told while sitting around said campfire, and all the various bugs. Plenty of people disliked bugs, but not Kumoko. She loved them, and not just because they were a good emergency food. They were genuinely cool. Except the wasps. Those rightfully deserved the bad rep they got. But all the other insects were fascinating. Kumoko could not wait to see them!
Still, Kumoko had a feeling that this would be no ordinary camping trip. This was a hero school, after all. It would be a bigger surprise if this really was just a regular camping trip. She was curious as to what it was she and the other students would be up against, but decided not to think too much into it. Thinking about the unknown only made her nervous and worry so unnecessarily. No, it was better to just not think about it too much and allow it to come as a surprise. Besides, if there really was anything too dangerous and life-threatening to worry about, that was what the teachers were for. So there was nothing to worry about!
...Right?
Carrying a small bag containing some essentials with her, Kumoko made her way to the bus that would take the students to their destination. Upon seeing it, Kumoko could not help but worry a bit. Would she be able to fit comfortably within the bus? She supposed that she could tuck her spider legs in real close so as not to be in anyone's way. If it made the bus ride uncomfortable for her, then so be it. She has been through worse.
Kumoko was surprised that she was the first student to arrive. Seeing Jaegar, Kumoko gave the teacher a warm smile, a respectful bow, and a greeting. "Hello, Jaeger-sensei!" She also bowed and said hi to the chicken on top of the bus. "I'm so excited for our trip!" Kumoko then quietly waited for the others to arrive. Maybe she would get to make a new friend or several if she was fortunate enough? Even if not, Kumoko hoped that she would at the very least not be a useless burden to them.

Beep! Beep! Beep! [break][break] "Mn..." From under the covers arises the girl, as she faintly grumbles to herself at having to wake up. From having a slight headache the night before and falling asleep so quickly after taking a pill, it didn't really feel like she slept for too long, or enough at that. It was almost never enough for Hanami anyway; as expected from a sleepyhead like her. [break][break] Still, she brings herself forth from her initial seated stance and extends a hand out to take her flashing smartphone, tapping once on its screen to immediately halt the beeping from the alarm she had set. A look at the time was offered and she really did feel like lying back down. Though, the thought of the consequences that could come out of either being late or missing the trip itself quickly crossed her mind. She'd be disappointing Jack and would be setting a bad reputation for herself. A reputation that she was already known to build up during junior high school. These times were different and she fully understood that. [break][break] They were much more serious times. [break][break] Up she goes, either way, turning the lights of the room on, opening the dresser and picking her clothes. She places them neatly down on the bed after pushing away the covers and finally moves to the bathroom. A calm shower followed, not having to rush too much since she had allowed herself to wake up much earlier so she didn't have to worry about forgetting important things. She dries and dresses herself up, eats breakfast, grabs her backpack with all necessary contents present within and eventually heads out after preparing everything. [break][break]
[break] Hanami arrives at the specified destination, yawning before she fully closed in on to the bus awaiting everyone else's arrival. Already punctual was the teacher that was going to guide them, Jaeger himself, along with his beloved partner, the Captain, as well as another supposed first-year she wasn't yet too familiar with. [break][break] "... Good morning..." [break][break] She managed to mumble out, her stance itself appearing rather drowsy. The girl stared down at the ground for the most part, bringing a hand up to her face and using the back of it to rub across her half-lidded gaze. Of course, she still acknowledged the teacher with a look after the greeting, but after that, she returned to being her usual lethargic self. [break][break] She came in the school uniform for the departure, expecting there to be a place for every student to change if they were already going to do something radical right after arriving at the supposed destination for such a camping trip. That uniform wasn't the only set of clothes she brought with her, after all. Thus the presence of her backpack.

Post by Kazu Fureu on May 9, 2019 20:40:14 GMT -4
The force known as Camping was a foreign entity to the Chronicler Of The World. He never actually went camping by himself, mostly he would experience it through school trips. However, those don't really fare well as actual camping trips, since the students would often do activities relating to the reason why they traveled to the woods. So when he was exposed to the invitation of a genuine camping weekend experience underneath the UA banner, he couldn't help but be a little bit...tempted. Perhaps camping is the way to find a chosen one in the future, or maybe he'll learn some valuable lessons to improve his Chronicling. After all, to praise and rejoice something or someone requires your very own life experiences, and if you haven't experienced something yet, how can you properly rejoice it?
So Kaz, in preparation for the trip the night before, packed some extra clothes, some extra ascots, and some bug sprays. He called up his mom to check if Hanemi's sleeping bag is still in the house, and if he can pick it up later. Upon arriving his house, he also grabbed some spare shirts to wear, and scavenged the house for any blankets if it gets too cold. Some may say that Kaz is overreacting and preparing far too much for it, but a chronicler must remain diligent for any opportunity. After dragging it al back to the dorm and placing it in a pile at the corner of the dorm, at night he lays on his bunk, awake and barely tired. Was he nervous? Was he excited? He has no idea. Maybe it'll be fun, or maybe it'll go wrong. He can't be sure...he just has to wait until tomorrow....and be ready.
At the break of dawn Kaz blinks with bags underneath, slipping off his sleep mask in a failed attempt to fall into the world of slumber. His alarm goes off for the destined time, and with a large groan, gets off the bed and slowly and sluggishly puts on his clothes, wrapping his ascot around his neck but not properly aligning it. He packs up a small bag with his books and spare pencils, and casually drops in his sleep mask and an extra bug spray, grabs his luggage, and slowly hobbles to the meeting place. Some people were already there, with some having bright smiles and ready to go. Others like Kaz are tired and want to sleep in. Muttering a "salutations" to Jeager, he lugs into the bus and fumbles into a seat, using the bag as a sort of pillow. He grabs his sleeping mask and places it on, ready to go into dreamland with no disturbances. After all, the chronicler of the world needs his sleep time, and if he's going to have a fantastic experience camping...he'll have to rest up a lot.

Post by Isamu Iwamoto on May 9, 2019 22:01:25 GMT -4
Upon receiving notification that he had been one of the few accepted to take part in the First Year camping trip, Isamu had been rather excited to say the least. It had been years since he had had a chance to go camping and he could still fondly remember when his Grandfather had taken him and a number of his young school friends out on a trip. Now though, on a trip run by a Heroics school, Isamu suspected they would be in for a treat. He could imagine that the staff involved in the excursion would be using it as a teaching exercise of some kind and Isamu was eager to see what kind of challenges were put in his and the other chosen students way.
That was another aspect of the trip he was looking forward to. He hadn't had much of a chance to meet other students in his year outside of those he was sharing a class with and trip he now found himself part of would be a good way to do so. As he understood it, it was only a small group of students that he'd be joining but he could only assume that at least some would be from outside of Class 1-A. Isamu decided it would be better to pack the night before the trip, packing light with only the essentials and a few changes of clothes. They hadn't been given any hints as to what they would actually be doing on the trip, so Isamu didn't want to be packing four suitcases 'just in case'. If he was under-prepared then he'd just have to wear it as a lesson. He did however remember to pack a stash of tailor-made high calorie protein-bars, he didn't want to get caught out using his Quirk too much.
Isamu was already well accustomed to waking up early, so when he arrived at UA and saw the bus they would no doubt be using and the handful of obviously tired students he would be sharing it with he couldn't help but laugh quietly to himself. Not everyone could be a morning person he supposed. He said brief Hellos to both students outside the bus as well as the teacher assigned to the trip, Jaeger-sensei. Isamu had briefly seen the man around UA in the past few weeks, but hadn't spoken with the man. Seeing no barrier to entry, he made his way onto the bus itself, briefly stopping to inspect the....chicken sitting on the roof of the bus above the door. A question for later he supposed.
Inside the bus itself was another student, though one Isamu actually recognized. Kaz was a....strange individual, though certainly not in a bad way. Being different wasn't a bad thing, and Kaz was certainly different. It certainly seemed that Kaz wasn't a morning person, he had already set himself up to fall asleep once more, sleeping mask and all. Smiling to himself Isamu walked passed Kaz, sitting himself at the back of the bus to give himself a little more leg room. One downside of being slightly taller than average was the lack of legroom in most vehicles. As he sat at the back of the bus Isamu was content to wait for all the remaining students to arrive. He was certainly looking forward to the trip.

| | | | | So the day had finally come, eh? This spectacular grand trip that Jaeger had been planning for the first years. Of course Kiryu didn't trust the man as far as he could throw him and honestly the shinobi hero thought that the robotic teacher was a bit on the crazy side. Then again, Kiryu wasn't all there in the head either.
He pestered and wined about the trip, considering that his request would be denied on the basis that Jaeger was...well Jaeger. So he needed someone to help him out and Kiryu was the man he picked for the job. He didn't quite know what angle was being pulled here, but he figured it was a nice gesture toward the first years to get something in place of the internships.
And so it was that Spymaster approached the bus with his hands tucked lazily in his pockets. He spotted some of the students loading up and gave each of them a polite wave before stepping toward Jaeger, standing next to the amiable man.
"Hey, sorry I'm a bit late. Had to file some paperwork and such beforehand for this trip, so everything's squared away."
Kiryu looked up at Jaeger's chicken with a curious look on his face, not choosing to ignore it at all. "I'm watching that bird of yours, by the way. Don't trust a single feather...and I'll be watching you as well. Hell, the only reason I'm going on this trip is to make sure none of the students get maimed or worse expelled."

[attr="class","pwficon"] [attr="class","pwficonbg"] [attr="class","pwfbody"] It was the Dawn of the new day and Isaac had been eagerly awaiting this particular one! Almost unable to sleep the night before the boy was incredibly excited to go out on this camping tip. Although this seemed naturally enough Isaac was especially eager since this would be the first time he ever really went camping and according to the bulletin it wasn't even conventional camping which made things even more interesting! Isaac was no stranger to nature, having grown up the the countryside for a while but as far as knowing about the ins and outs of it he was totally clueless, something he was hoping to correct after the trip! Another thing he was hoping to do while on the trip was get to know some of the other students from other classes. Even from his own class Isaac felt like he didn't know everyone all too well and after this trip he was hoping to totally change that! [break][break] Still, having no clue what to expect Isaac made sure to pack the essentials and then some. He had his general toiletries, plenty of spare clothes, sleeping bag, plastic bags in case some of his clothes got wet and even some instant noodles in case he wanted a snack while he was there. Needless to say his bag was a lot more full looking than it usually was as he left his dorm room trying not to wake his roommate. [break][break] Leaving the doors with a slight pep in his step, the tiredness did not quite creep up on Isaac yet. If anything this morning he felt far more alert than most having to knowingly wake up so early and make sure he had what he needed while also not waking up his senpai. Mission accomplished anyway! He assumed everyone else had a similar feeling so he didn't quite think to tone down his enthusiasm as he went to the bus. "Morning Sensei!" He greeted with a large smile and wave as he unloaded his bag into the undercarriage of the bus. Making his way into the bus now he noticed Kiryu walk up also and Isaac gave him a large wave also but before he had quite made his way onto the bus he overheard what he said to Jaeger. Not sure if he heard them right he shook his head and waited to hear. Although the prospect did not sound too good Isaac's enthusiasm was not deterred in the slightest. If anything it set the bar even higher on the trip! Fair enough he knew that the trip wasn't going to be a sing along get together, but being maimed? And what was that chicken he was talking about? With many ideas whirling in his head Isaac took a seat around the middle of the bus and fell asleep as soon as he got comfortable.

No one could ever accuse Luka of lacking confidence, having managed to get himself involved in this camping trip. Granted, he wasn't entirely sure that he was going to like whatever Jaeger cooked up... but camping! Plus he was going to meet a number of the new students, the second ever batch for U.A., it was surely going to be an interesting experience.
Plus camping.
He'd packed for the unexpected, though he'd had a number of standard items vetoed by the teacher. Sure, he didn't need an axe, but it certainly made the experience more fun. A small pout appeared on his face at that thought, but disappeared soon enough as he packed the last of his gear into place and strapped the bag to his back. It was going to be a trip unlike any other that was for sure, there was no doubt in his mind that whatever happened it was going to be crazy. His time in U.A. thus far had taught him that the school was batpoop crazy and you had to expect everything to be weird and go wrong. It was entirely possible that teaching that lesson was what Jaeger had in mind, so Luka prepared himself for worst case scenarios. That included emergency rations.
Tightening the straps on his backpack and finishing the muffin he'd gotten... yesterday? maybe?... Luka made one last look around his dorm room to ensure it was clean with everything packed away, and then headed off to the bus where this trip would really begin.
He spotted Captain before anything else, the chicken in question perched majestically atop the bus posing in what he could only describe as a 'Titanic moment'. But there was no Leo DiCaprio behind her, that would have made the whole situation even weirder to be honest. There were also already a bunch of students gathering around the bus, ready to depart, though looking at them he wasn't sure if they'd ever gone camping before in their lives. It was either going tto be an interesting or painful experience for him to watch, depending on their attitudes (and how high tech Jaeger was going to go). Luka hoped it wasn't going to be the sort of 'camping' so many city dwellers did, with all the modern comforts and amentities. That was just too boring.
"Goooooooooood mooooooooooorning Firsties~!" he called out as he came around the bus, a wide grin on his girlish face, his words deliberately flavoured with a German accent. He could speak Japanese as well as any natively born individual, but he liked throwing people off with the accent. He was also currently the shortest student, and possibly younger than some of the giants that made up this little gathering of First Year students, but that hardly bothered him. He was their senpai after all.
Plus he was used to being shorter than everyone else.
Bowing in the direction of the adults, Luka turned his golden eyes back onto the other students with a curious look. He wondered what they were capable of and who they were. He supposed he'd find out soon enough. "Who's ready to go camping~"OOC NOTES: N/A Tags: N/A

Post by Elise Von Eisenberg on May 10, 2019 14:17:12 GMT -4
| Meet and greet with the first years | | And so the day of the camping trip had arrived. If she had to admit, she had a bit of a mixed feeling about it. Even if she was the adventurous type who enjoyed a new experience every now and then, it still meant she would be without her iron-blooded knight for a whole weekend! Nonetheless, it was also an excellent chance for her to get some training from Kiryu-sensei, so in the end Elise had been pretty quick to agree to the notion of attending the trip, especially considering the list of participants was fascinating to say the least. After a rather pleasant night, which involved plenty of cuddling to make up for the fact she wouldn't see Tetsuko for a while, Elise was as energetic and lively as usual, a proper camper's backpack strapped onto her back as she arrived near the parking lot on the campus where several students had already gathered. Some in fact had already boarded the bus to take a nap! Was it to preserve their energy, or merely boredom? She had no idea but as someone who had plenty of energy to spare she intended to put it to good use by socializing with some of the students that were present.
The first that she noticed were two girls and quite a familiar blue-haired lad, her own little brother. Her lips curved up for just a moment, wondering if this had been one of Jaeger's schemes before she decided to greet them in a way that was typical for the girl. At first she merely crouched her body lightly, making her less noticeable as she sneakily moved closer, using Kumuko's spider body to sneak closer. Speaking of Kumoko, she had to admit she was quite fascinated with the girl. She had heard about the mythological creatures known as Arachne before, in the end similar to slime girls they often appeared in certain anime and manga, but Kumoko seemed quite different in the sense that the spider aspects of her quirk seemingly were all connected to her head! Fascinating to say the least, but also curious: Like how did she deal with the balance issues that would surely arise from having such a weight to the back of her head? Did she ever have problems with her neck?
Once she reached close enough she extended her hands toward the large abdomen of the spider head girl and tried to cup it lightly. "Well aren't you an energetic spider girl?" Her lips curved into a grin, sure her actions would have startled the girl as she spun her body sideways and greet the girl with a smile. "Not that I dislike such energy~ But I see that your companion here is dozing off, so let's wake her up first." Elise whispered next to Kumoko before rapidly dashing, a pace which to some might had been compared to a sprinting antelope when suddenly her shoes grind onto the pavement and she stopped right behind Hanami, both her hands slipping toward the girl's waist to try to tickle her into oblivion! "Good morning sunshine!"
Elise exclaimed with a smirk, eager to see a reaction from the girl, yet she still remembered proper etiquette, and with a playful salute introduced herself.
"The name is Elise~ Elise von Eisenberg and like my little brother here I will be accompanying you all on this trip~" and after her gaze wandered toward the final lad who was currently outside Elise hummed softly. "Good morning Luka~"

There was a reason why Karen wasn't the first at the bus despite that normally being the case. Even though it turned out that more than half of 1-A would end up going on the trip, she wasn't just going to forget those who would be staying at school. Thus she had spent a good part of the morning making sure things were in order while she was away while leaving someone else in charge with any class rep duties. That might have been a bit excessive since technically they were only going to be missing a day of regular classes, but Karen was the type to be very thorough about this sort of thing. Once everything was properly taken cared of to her satisfaction, she would make her way to the meeting area with still a bit of time to spare. As expected most of the participants were there already including, to her surprise, a couple of second years. This wasn't her first time seeing Elise, but she didn't know that her brother attended UA as well. The way classes were set up with quite the age range for students, this kind of thing was bound to happen. It must have been quite the interesting feeling to be in the same year as your younger sibling. Karen did not have younger siblings herself, but there were a few people she could consider as such. "Good morning Elise-senpai, Luka-senpai and senseis."She quickly glanced at who was already present and identified who was still missing. Checking her watch it wouldn't be long now before it was time to depart. "I see a couple of my classmates have yet to arrive. I do apologize on their behalf. Let me send them a quick message."She wasn't sure would could be holding up Graham but knowing him it was probably an important matter. It was Jack that she was worried about. As the vice president of the class it would be unacceptable for him to be late. Even the president of 1-B looked like he was here way ahead of them and had already made himself comfortable. After sending them both a polite reminder that the bus was leaving soon, she decided to stand by outside to wait until the very last minute they needed to board. She had been looking forward to this camping trip as she had heard Jaeger-sensei had a lot of exciting things in store for them. Knowing the kind of teacher that he was, it was probably impossible to be fully prepared for everything that he would throw at them, but that didn't stop Karen from trying her best to pack what could be useful anyway. Even so the knapsack she was carrying looked more compact and organized than most of the other bags that the other participants were bringing with them on the trip. Efficiency was key but also adaptability. There were a couple of new faces among the attendees. Although majority may have been from her class, she would have to make an effort to get to know the others as well. No doubt working together would be important for the success of this camp and she intended to make sure no one felt left out from the bigger 1-A crowd.

This had been a morning Graham would begrudgingly remember. His alarm had gone off at a perfectly reasonable time, he'd gotten out of bed at about the same time as his travel companions, yet still, he'd ended up well behind schedule. Shameful, it truly was, that a trip he'd gotten so thoroughly excited for would see him slightly late. Adjusting to performing his whole morning routine by himself was a hassle, alright, but even so, since moving into the dorms things had never gone this unspeakably awry.
As such, he found himself walking over to the bus at a faster pace than usual. He'd run, but that would look silly, and might not be good for the little trolley with the things he brought along. The buzz of what he presumed was his phone in the inner pocket of his uniform jacket went ignored as he drew closer, time would be plentiful during the bus ride itself.
The chicken sitting atop the bus brought a smile to his face, though he wasn't aware those were kept as pets- he was learning more about normal life each day, he felt! It was an adventure all its own just being here in Japan, far away from home, so this camping excursion would be an adventure within that adventure. He was somewhat familiar with the wilderness, if one could call the estate's hunting grounds that. It'd never been more than an afternoon though, so the real intricacies of nature were still outside his grasp. Unless this trip made a difference in that, part of what had him so excited. He'd never had a real camping trip before, either, and it'd surely lead to deeper bonds with the other students that came along.
He placed his luggage in the open compartment on the side of the large vehicle, choosing not to interrupt the teachers talking. They were quite visually striking, he'd say, Mr. Jaeger having a metal mask covering his face, and Mr. Kiryu using cloth to much the same purpose. He'd offer them a smile in case they did notice him, though he quietly entered the cabin, speaking up only once up the steps. "Good morning everyone," he spoke, mildly louder than usual as to try and reach everyone as intended over their own chatter, though the sort of tone needed to . It was almost full already, with quite a few odd faces. A girl with a massive spider-shaped head, a boy with strange eyes and a red forehead- oh, of course that was just another mask. The spider girl was the only one who really stood out after all, then. Moving along the seats it was mostly classmates, with a few unfamiliar faces mixed in. It did make sense, they were the larger class by a margin.
Finally sitting down in one of the back rows, he took out the phone that rang earlier. A message from Karen, specifically one stating he was late. It gave him a good chuckle, seeing as the bus didn't seem ready to leave any moment either way. Still, he turned to the blue-haired miss sitting a row in front of him diagonally. "Karen, I appreciate your concern, and apologise if you'd gotten worried!" It was befitting of her title as president, which she did certainly take seriously. Now, he wasn't entirely certain of which specific students had signed up again, but one he did remember and failed to see inside so far was Jack. Hopefully, this classmate of his would manage to make it in time. If all went as he hoped, this shouldn't be a trip for anyone to miss.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The sounds of Jack’s alarm blared throughout his room. The small dragon boy was covered in his blankets, hugging his pillow like a stuffed animal. He drooled a little in his sleep, though, after about 10 minutes of the blaring, started to stir a little. He was having a rather wonderful dream of snuggling people...why did he even have an alarm set? Classes didn’t start yet, he thought…
Jack suddenly shot up, his hair a complete mess, his eyes wider than bowls. ”I OVERSLEPT!!!” he exclaimed. Honestly, he had forgotten that he had signed up for the camping trip, even though he had even tried to convince Hanami to come as well. He had felt that it would be a good experience for her, as she wasn’t exactly the most social person. As Vice President, it was his job to help make sure that everyone developed in their own ways, so he felt more than inclined to help push her in the right direction.
Even though he himself was a forgetful idiot sometimes.
He quickly shot out of bed, hopping into the shower for a grand total of a minute, then taking an extra 30 seconds drying off and brushing his teeth. He didn’t exactly have time to brush his hair, so it was in it’s natural, fluffy and poofy self, hanging in Jack’s eyes and sticking all over the place. He decided it was best to just do it on the bus. He quickly got dressed, simultaniously throwing extra clothes into his rather large, blue GameGirl backpack. Even on camping trips, he was a rather large nerd.
Not even thinking about the rules at this point, Jack slung on his backpack, patting himself down to make sure that he had everything. Phone, brush, toothbrush, clothes, portable charger...everything seemed to check out. Without a second thought, Jack flung his window open and jumped out, closing it behind him. He then took off in a run, sprouting his wings and taking off, going right for the bus.
”I’M HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE!!!” he exclaimed as he approached at top speed. However, before he could hit the bus, he landed, though it was anything but graceful. He did a couple of clumsy front flips in the process, before finally stopping himself, landing on one foot and trying to balance himself.
”I-I h-here…” he stammared, trying to catch his breath. He definitely looked ready for a camping trip, dressed in a regular red tank top and cargo shorts. He looked surprisingly fit for someone of his size, though it was ruined by the gasping of the dragon boy. ”S-sorry to keep y’all waiting…”

And so the first students for this grand adventure would make themselves known. The first one to make their arrival was Kumoko, the energetic and enthusiasm of the girl earning a soft raise of the chicken's wing as if she waved in a greeting while Jaeger nodded in approval. "Good morning Kumoko, I'm glad to see you are so excited for the trip~ I can promise you it will be quite an adventure."However, to his amusement the next one to arrive seemed the polar opposite, the adorable little sleepyhead called Hanami tiredly giving a greeting before looking like she could doze off while standing there! "Sleeping while standing, quite an ability to master, isn't that right Hanami?" The enigmatic teacher hummed in amusement. Still when Kaz arrived and provided him with a salutations before entering the bus the man couldn't help but grin inwardly. Clever kid, preserving his energy and resting during the trip, clearly he knew he was going to need all the energy he had for this adventure! After Isamu's arrival and cursory inspection of the Captain, which the chicken returned with an intense staredown of her own, the Spymaster himself arrived, a playful wave of his hand. "Glad you could join us Kiryu~ Once more, I and the students are truly grateful for your collaboration in this project." However, hearing his warning the man couldn't help but snicker and hummed in an entertained response. "Nonsense, the Captain is the sweetest chicken on the campus. Besides, i'd say that the risk of maiming and injuries isn't in my hands. Although... I have to admit I'm fairly excited to find out just what type of adventures we'll all get to see."The man smiled excitedly, as if he was aware of something while looking ahead at the approaching students. "Isaac! Welcome aboard lad! I see you came prepared~"The man nodded his head a few times while at the same time he raised a hand to his chin as if pondering about something. "Hah! if it isn't Scylla and her 'infernal' little brother~ I had to admit I'm pleasantly surprised someone of the second years had the wits to ignore the requirements and sign up. Gotta love that attitude. Also Scylla, make sure you said your bai bais to your wife, she'll be missing you for quite a while. Luckily you got your reliable little brother at your side if you get lonely!" Knowing his response would stir a response from the duo he smirked knowingly and soon continued as Karen arrived. "No need to apologize Karen, we still got a bit before we have to go and--- hah! speaking of the Graham and the dragon lad!" The man couldn't help but chuckle as the final students arrived and once everyone was inside the bus he nudged toward Kiryu. "You're driving amigo, this isn't a tank, the GPS shows the location."Once everyone was seated and ready he clapped his metalic hands together to draw everyone's attention. "While we head over to our destination I'll explain a bit more about what you all can expect. First and foremost, aside from this being a camping trip, this event will also be a 'game' of sorts. I'm certain some of you are intimately familiar with Geist's Capture the Flag exercises? What we will be doing is somewhat similar. You will all be divided into two teams, with one of you being selected as a secret 'group leader'. This individual is very important because they will be given one of 'those'." The man smiled excitedly as he pulled what appeared to be two fancy credit cards, although a light tap on the screen displayed a number: 20 on the card and another tap the word: Unregistered "Your overall objectives are simple: You will be dropped in two different locations, oblivious of the others whereabouts, your goals are 1: Survive in the wilderness 2: Find Resource Nodes, simply said across the area we'll be staying at there will be various crates, find one, secure it by using this card and you'll gain juicy points! What are those points used for? Good question~ At the point you'll be dropped in there will be a terminal which you can use to contact us, or use those points to convert them into things to make your camping trip more comfortable or secure or hell even order a pizza! anyone like pizza with pineapple?"The man hummed in amusement as he twirled the cards in his hands. "Goal is simple, find your opponent's leader's identity, secure their card and return it to your terminal."His gaze drifted around the bus as he stopped, a twist of his fingers making the cards seemingly zoom through the air and with an unnatural finnese landed cleanly on the laps of two students. "Team One will be created by..." He grinned into the direction of the student and continued speaking. "Luka" and indeed, the card had been landed nicely on his lap. "and team two by Kaz~" His gaze settled upon the student and he knew just what he needed to do to get a certain guy excited. He clapped his hands a second time and suddenly the chicken that was on the bus earlier popped up next to Kiryu's driver seat, a machine on her back whirling to life as it started to display something quite... interesting. "This is your chance young man, you as the chronicler of the chosen ones have been selected to decide whose stories you want to write, who will you help reach out to their potential?"As the Projection showed itself in the air behind Jaeger he turned around and grinned mischievously. "As you can see we have a special surprise in store for you in the form of an unpredictable rogue element! To make things more exciting we have given you all the chance to enjoy fighting against quite an experienced foe~" He snickered mischievously as he continued. "This rogue element can possibly help you, or mean the end of you should you cross her path. However, to the team that defeats her, we will award a shinobi scroll! What is this? Oh, just an item that allows your entire team to ace this exercise which by the way will be part of your optional lectures and serves as a boost to your school grades."--- Notes: - Kaz & Luka, since you both are chosen as group leaders I will be trying to get you both on at the same time to convey to me your choices for members so you can write your posts properly. Others can react and ask questions etc. - To make conflicts less tense and more about having epic anime fights/having fun, we will be toying with Darren's 'dice' system. Simply said the points you were given can be considered your 'Combat Potential based on your Quirk and combat abilities', when a conflict happens the battle is a bit more tactical in the sense that it's an equal amount of management and luck. The 'camping area' will be divided into areas, each hiding its own stuff/secrets/little events. Each 'day' which will last a pre-established ooc period, involves your group exploring areas. To make it all the more exciting once the exploration phase happens, have your team leader (Luka or Kaz) DM me with your team's movements, who will reveal who goes where. -Details on how a confrontation: basically, consider the fact that you'll be less worried about winning and more about having cool confrontations if/when they happen. but the idea is that we will focus more on freeforming cool fights rather than get into arguments about attacks landing etc, and who knows if luck gets on your side you might do some amazing feats~ but consider it like an odds thing. If your side has a combat potential of 4, and your opponent has 6? then a dice roll of 1d10 is made after an initial fight to start things (consider the odds of your scores but don't make it decisive yet, aka you have a fighting chance) if it's 1~4 your side wins, if it's 5~10 then your opponent wins, afterwards another roll is made to decide if the opponent can escape or is knocked out with a 50~50 chance. However, each time you escape your chance will be reduced by 25 points! so after 2 escapes, you will be guaranteed captured, so be careful. don't worry about rolls, those will be handled by me to make it easier on everyone and will be posted for all to see. - As mentioned there is a rogue element in this challenge in the form of the 'villain Kunoichi' the team that captures her receives a scroll that will allow them to ace this test, even IF they lose and there might be an additional RP surprise~ Kunoichi has a power potential of... 35! keep this in mind if you encounter her I will be posting a note on discord for everyone to see what approach everyone prefers.

One should never try to disturb the attempt to drift off into the wonderful realm that is sleep. If one does so, they would receive a very cranky Kaz. A cranky Kaz is worse than your average Kaz, because not only will he complain more but he will drop the whole gimmick and just go straight for the jugular if they force him out of bed. Fortunately, the person interrupting his sleeping is a teacher, so he cannot legally nor morally yell at him. His respect for possible chosen ones overrules his drive to sleep. He slides up his mask to see Mr. Jaeger describing the following trip with a half-serious glaze, trying with all of his strength to not fall asleep. After all, he's describing their upcoming trip, and it is important to listen to any possible safety hazards...should probably write it all down. He grabs his journal and a pencil to jolt down any necessary details. It can't be that bad, right?
Well, so much for a normal camping trip. In fact, this was nothing more than another lesson. Part of him felt a bit sad that he still will never have a real authentic camping experience...but at the same time...this sounds...amazing actually! Picture it! A test of courage, accessibility, resourcefulness, credit card spendin-wait, what? Kaz looks a bit intrigued at the mysterious gold 'card.' It looks like one of his old membership cards, he pondered as he checks his back pocket for the wallet he accidentally brought along. A card with a screen on it serves as their lifelink to obtaining more resources. It's a bit weird but it makes sense that UA has access to this sort of technology. This is quite interesting, Kaz ponders as he continues to write down Jeager's rules in shorthand. It would be nice if he was made the secret leader, but he cannot simply decide who can be chosen. He can only record the chosen ones, after all. Simply picking them out randomly will not simply do.
So imagine his surprise when after throwing the cards at high speed, one of them managed to land on top of his book on top of his lap. He...he was chosen? He couldn't believe it. How could he be chosen for one of the secret leaders?! Thi-this is...this is improbable. This was unexpected. Was he selected for his grand abilties as a Class President? Was it due to his quality of his speeches? Was it his quirk? A surge of emotions go through Kaz's mind, as he continues to listen to Jaeger to avoid being noticed as a secret leader. The projector displays a sort of profile page, with all of the students in the bus, and a weird looking ninja lady. The 'kunoichi,' as Jaeger said, is the rogue element of this little trip and one should keep an eye out. Interesting, so there must be constant vigilance on their own part when traversing the woods. No one said that this would be an easy trip, Kaz nods in agreement. Nevertheless, the appeal of a grade boost is certainly alluring.
Of course, what he didn't expect was the card to light up. The number 20 and 'unregistered' changed to the same image on the projector. Kaz looks a bit intrigued, then continues to 'write down' to avoid being noticed. All these number values must mean something. Maybe it's their ranking in this camping trip? Is his ranking a natural 20? Well that's nice to assume but he's just a lowly chronicler. At best he's like a 5. He glazes over the people that he knows of. Isaac's cool, but he doesn't seem to have a lot of points. Is that bad?Jack he met in a store and they...they fought over something honorable that's for sure. So maybe he can be trusted over having the same tastes. Plus, he has 13! He looks at Elise's profile, labeled 'Scylla.' Her ?? confuses him. It'll be nice to hang out with her again, she really helped him out with his quirk. Plus, he was looking for more chats with her. He then glances over to Karen's profile. A fellow president, and also someone who he may have insulted in that costume thing. It's still up in the air. Still, she kept being friendly at him so maybe there's no harsh feelings. Pretending to write down, he uses the eraser end to select Jack and Karen, then tries to select Isaac and Elise.
19/20.
...Wait wha? Kaz looks a bit confused. He can't choose anyone else? Not even Isaac or Elise? He taps random people and nothing. other people randomly. Nothing. Suddenly a small beep. The screen turns Red, with only a phrase remaining on the screen.
"The eyes of the kunoichi are upon you."
Kaz stares at with confusion. The eyes of the kunoichi? What does that mean? Is-is she looking at me right now? Is the Kunoichi within this bus as we speak? What does this mean? The Chronicler of the world taps his pencil on the page of his book, pondering the implication of this sentence.
This is going to be an interesting trip. Perhaps even one to record down in the world's memory.

Luka wasn't quite sure how he felt about the appearance of his sister. It wasn't that they didn't get along, not by a long shot, it was just that he hadn't been expecting her to show up for this little adventure. It was also somewhat concerning considering what purpose she might have being here, unlike Luka his elder sister wasn't a survivalist who loved to go camping, which meant there was some sort of ulterior purpose to her showing up. He couldn't see Elise nagging Jaeger-sensei to tag along just for the love of the outdoors. At the older von Eisenberg's greeting he simply gave her a longsuffering look that said everything. "You're up to something El, I can feel it," he murmured to the older slime before returning his attention to the First Year students who continued to arrive.
Some seemed interesting prospects, others... well, the first impression wasn't particularly great. Once it seemed everyone turned up Jaeger began his introduction to the activity, and Luka's expression turned vaguely disgusted "I'm not going to keep her company in the same way as Tetsu-nee," he declared, knowing it wasn't what the teacher had been implying, but wanting to rile his sister up a little. With that, he climbed up into the bus after the last of the first years had boarded, golden eyes scanning those already there to try and decide what he thought of them. Minimal gear, sleepy, another sleepy... was that guy really a First Year? He looked like he should be a senior, but considering U.A. was less about age he supposed it made sense. There was a guy he'd noticed with a large pack, judgement would be witheld until he knew what was in it. Class Rep, fancy looking guy, and the loud late one. He wondered how they'd all fare on this camping trip, indeed he wondered how extreme the camping would get.
He couldn't imagine Jaeger was going to take them to a place with cabins and full amenities, surely that'd be too simple.
Taking a seat near the exit of the bus, Luka began to listen attentively as Jaeger began to explain the trip in more detail. His interested expression turned into a wide grin as the teacher stated one of their goals was wilderness survival. Perfect, just what he had hoped for, his hand unconsciously checking the contents of his pockets to make sure he had the essentials still on him. Everday carry equipment for a camping trip was different to the stuff he would carry for a school day after all.
The card plopping into his lap was somewhat surprising, but it quickly disappeared into his hands and he looked from the projector to the little card, mind already trying to decide which members of the group he would be picking. Scanning the card, he pressed the portrait of the older looking student, Isamu Iwamoto, even as the image of the late 'dragon boy' Jack Orion darkened as well. It seemed the other team leader had picked the 13 point student. That was fine, he didn't know what the numbers considered, but he wouldn't be too upset over the other leader's choice. Even as he considered the situation he watched as another portrait went dark, Karen Hoshizora - the Class Rep. Poking at his card to select Isaac Levin, he noticed his card now said 8/20. Process of elimination told him he had that many points in 'chosen teammates'. Considering the other leader had picked a 13 and a 6, he pretty much had free rein.
Slender fingers danced over the card as he snagged the remaining students. Sure, the other team may consist of the highest ranked students, but quantity had a quality all of its' own. The screen turned blue and displayed text that was quite ominous, 'Careful of that what lurks in the shadows'.
Tapping his lips in thought, Luka resisted the urge to look at Elise, the young German highly suspicious of his sister at this point. Considering her presence, her ?? score, and the whole 'kunoichi' situation... yeah, definitely suspicious. Slipping the card into his body, Luka proceeded to triple check his various gear, wanting to be sure he had what he could on him. Knowing U.A. things were going to get...interesting... before they were even ready.
