Nimue Nakahara Yuuei's Nurse So today was the so called ‘biology’ class. The first Biology class for the second years and even if she hoped that they had a great holiday and relaxed, she was hoping that they learned a lot in their previous year and would be ready to make use of that. She had sold it as a biology class, that they would use for the rest of the year and even if that was true, learning about the effect that quirks had on the forest in the mountains, it was quite an interesting to see and observe considering the twelve students that were around. She had packed every necessary thing and had been here in the early morning as well to make sure everything was ready. Surely not your average start of the day, going from Musutafu to the mountains in a school bus that she managed to arrange as well and her eyes glanced over each and every student for a while. After a while the bus finally stopped, but as she had instructed the driver, it should not go so smooth, they were at a plain where the was mostly hard golden sand ground and a lot more. Victims, that’s what you could call it, the bus seemed to shake and Nimue held on to one of the seats as she had just stood up, she could have expected this but her face was neutral and her eyes searching for something she could not see yet. She lifted up her shoulders and looked to her right, out of the window, she had heard a cry out for help but even if she had made up for this, it felt very strange to hear in real life. So much things seemed to be going on and she turned to the students in the bus, definitely not smiling. “I think we have to skip biology for another time and figure out what to do here.” Someone was dragged off away and her eyes glanced at it, the bus shook another time and it was clear some fighting was going on by the sounds that were muffled by the windows and the bus itself and yet she could hear something, like the rumbling of thunder. She knew it was not that, but there was a sort of smoke seeping towards them from just beyond the open spot where they stopped. “Maybe we need to come up with a strategy while we are now in the bus, we should focus our attention separately, I count on you.” She winked, just to make sure people understood that all was safe, this was a set-up and they should know that.
Up next is Siegfried (Zien's) post. After that it's up to you to make a post, no specific posting order needed yet, you have to pick what you are going to do, there will be three zones and you need to form groups of maximum 4 so we can split up into 3 separate threads. The first thread is tending the victims/wounded that you as a student would be able to see in this part of the plains. The second and third area will have a higher danger rank and will get a better description later on. All you know is that people are dragging the victims further into the forest. Feel free to dm when you have questions. Siegfried had awaited this day since the discussion with Witch Doctor had come up. A class involving her students, and the ex-cop pro hero that wanted nothing more than to see the capabilities of the students sounded ripe for a exciting morning. Nimue seemed just as eager about the prospect herself, though he wasn't one hundred percent certain the reason was the same as Siegfried's.
Rummaging through the gear to distribute to the necessary holders, he kept a careful eye on the road, awaiting the fated bus to arrive at the destination. He'd be checking his watch for the time...if he had remembered to wear one. So instead Siegfried got their bright and early...perhaps too early, to prepare the scenario. Siegfried handed the various arms to the Yuuei robots that crowded around, following their issued commands of following his orders.
It was...extremely weird, to say the least, as Siegfried never had to deal with artificial intelligence allies, and less so be the commander of a group of them. The weapon was snapped into place on the few that needed to be custom fitted, as instructed, but many had already been fitted to the necessities of the exercise. Scanning the area, most of the layout had already been prepared from the prior days assembly, since this had been in the works for a time now. The 'victims' had been either set or were ready to be moved on the order, and all it required now was-
As if on queue, a distant sound of rumbling could be heard from down course and gravely pathway of a road. Peering from his view point within the forest outskirts, Siegfried grinned as the sight of the UA carrier bus chugged down the sandy path before coming to a crawl and eventually stopping. Well, looks it is show time. Siegfried always kind of wanted to play maniacal super villain!
Stepping out from the slightly shaded trees with a signal towards two of the other Yuuei issued robots to follow, Siegfried removed a rifle of sorts that was slung over his back and started taking steps towards the vehicle, though from a far off distance still. Lifting his left arm up, he took as steady an aim as he could, trying to account for distance and-
What sounded like a grenade launcher thumped out a circular object that went souring towards the area between the forest and the bus. The canister shattered upon the ground, releasing the distinct quirk tear gas that drifted through the air. It was a warning, and not intended to hit the bus directly or affect any of the student.
"Open fire!" Siegfried issued the order for the robots to fire off several pot shots of colored rounds at the bus, Sieg also joining in by firing about three quick burst in the general direction through the smoke. Waving a hand, he gave a signal to start taking the last of the training civilians towards the forest, to which one of the two robots followed and started to drag off, the cries for help clearly being heard.
"Alright! You all hearin' me!? This is Vulture's turf now, and I expect to have our demands present within thirty minutes. Should you all choose to not comply, we will start the executions as we declared earlier." Siegfried barked out loudly to clearly be heard by the bus fully of students and Nimue. Siegfried wasn't used to this whole 'acting' thing, but he could certainly sound fierce if he wanted. Not that he ever really chose to.
Starting to step backwards, he kept a close eye on movement and was ready to fire again if anyone chose to be brash before the lesson properly started with Nimue's command. "The CEO and teachers shall be held at the moonlight cavern as discussed for 'negotiations'. We will continue to hold onto the others at the checkpoints, but if you wish to see them safe, bring what we asked for. This is our final request for payments. You have been warned!"
Siegfried, with a proud smirk fired one last shot at the bus before picking up his pace and jogging into the forest with the robot following close behind. Well, here was hoping he played a convincing enough villain for the job. Now onto the plan~

There was this biology class that was going on. And unlike usual biology, they had to go out and use a school bus to go in to the mountains. In other words SCHOOOOL TRIIIIP~~
Miku always loved school trips because they were fun and didnt feel like your average boring classes. But soon that little thought was reinforced by the shaking bus, and a cry for help, and Nimue's words. Basically something not good was going on. The bus shook another time and she then heard an unknown voice. Nimue then said that they need to make a strategy while they were in the bus. And then Miku saw a wink. ... W-was that wink that its safe? Or reassuring us?... ... Bah humbug! They're semantics and details! Miku couldnt think about that
Miku then turned to her fellow classmates and schoolmates. She decided to take an initiative for once, she did her best to channel her inner Lani. She turned to face the others and among her fellow students she saw familiar faces like Relena, Nyke, Jasmine and Emi. And unfamiliar faces like blonde boy with goggles, umm.. red alien person chick, red haired girl, someone with a pretty bad scar... she mentally nicknames him Scarface, a brown haired goody good persona type boy and.. purple people eater? "Oh my god, brain dont be stupid now" she mentally said to herself as she focused and spoke "Ok, everyone! Lets go out there and do something! But, before we do something. Can you please tell me your names and Quirks so I know how can we team up. Here, I'll start. My name is Miku and I manipulate plants. Short and simple introduction and ability so we can think and work quick"
Miku knew Relena, but not her Quirk. Nyke and her metal. Jasmine making things go boom an Emi.... something? While Emi did show Miku and class B her Quirk, she didnt explain it and Miku didnt actually figure it out, while she could make a guess, she fears of being offensive

It was a lovely day, the sun was shining, a gentle breeze was blowing through, everything was peaceful. Today was the faithful biology class which is a subject Feng enjoyed the most for the fact that she gets to see what lives in the forest and sorts. A school trip is always welcoming in her book as it provides a good change of pace to the normal routine of school life. But the day had other plans as the bus shook a bit which caused all chatter in the bus to quiet down and then more hits came and bombarded the bus, causing the bus’s once calm atmosphere into a panic. In the moment, she heard Ms. Nimue saying we need to make a strategy and a wink. She gets one part but why the wink? She’ll deal with it later as one of bus mates introduced herself as Miku and told the group her quirk and so forth. There is two familiar face on the bus, a lot of new faces to her. She can save the introductions for later as she tries to figure out what to do next. She checks the other passengers for any injuries and does the following.
“Names Feng. My quirk allows me to jump real good, I’m going to check outside to see if there’s a way to get the civilians to safety !” Feng exclaims as she runs out the bus to check. There was no time to explain her quirk in a situation like this, so she just must scout out the surrounding area to see if its safe enough to leave the bus.
She saw Jaz among the group which lifts some weight off her heart, because she has some real fire power. She can trust her if a battle is pretty likely in a place like this. Bunch of new faces, some of them look like in the same class as her but she ran out before she can think about it. Right now she looking around the area for any more signs of the enemy and a safe way out for civilians to escape to.

‘You know what would be fun some time? Camping. Getting a bunch of friends together, out in the middle of nowhere, and enjoying some quality time. Together. Just us, the stars, and… nine million ants and demon spiders from the pits of hell. …Actually, maybe it’s not such a good id-' The jolt of the bus rudely interrupted the girl’s thoughts. For its efforts, the window beside her earned an annoyed glare – one that only grew more intense as the ground became more unstable. On the bright side, the disruption made she was paying full attention to the show in front of her: her teacher’s oddly amused messages and the chaos outside the bus. Their little surprise was only one for the students, it seemed – Nimue’s coy smile and the metal hostages made that much clear.
But where did that leave Emi? Confused, for a few moments. The rug had been swept out from under her (and everybody else, she guessed), and they were being forced to take action. No equipment, no warm-up, next to no prep time. It was a little rude, she thought… Until she realised that that was the point. Hero classes were great at teaching students the rules of being a hero, but by their very nature, they failed to emphasize one thing. Real emergencies rarely fit themselves into neat little schedules, which meant that they had to be prepared to act at any moment. Knowing to get suited up for battle practice at 2:00 took a fair bit of realism out of the exercise.
Alright. She could respect the idea, but she still had to act on it. After all, Nurse Nimue didn’t go to all that effort just to teach them a listen in sitting tight and waiting for the authorities. So she kept quiet, at least for a few seconds, trying to think up some options. That was until one of the girls rushed for the exit – and straight into enemy territory. “Woah, slow your roll for a few seconds!” She raised her voice for all the class to hear, which made it all the easier to hear the edge of disdain in the words that followed. “These guys were waiting for us, right? It’s ‘their turf’, in Rattail’s words, and we don’t know what’s waiting for us our there. And even if you’re eager to run out and put yourself in danger… I don’t think those hostages would appreciate you provoking them without a plan.”
She stood up, turning away from a (hopefully stationary) redhead, and turning to regard the rest of the class. An introduction, she’d hoped, wouldn’t be necessary, but since Miku asked, it wouldn’t hurt to be thorough. “Emi Ryoko Tachibana. Salt manipulation. I work best at a distance.” A brief pause, paired with narrowed eyes. “It’d be great if we could figure out where the checkpoints were. Do we have any good trackers, or somebody stealthy to scout the area?”

You don't need a dream or even a tomorrow Just live
Please kill me, please kill me, please kill me, he kept on thinking. Curled up, arms wrapped around his knees which were tucked upon his belly. Back of the bus, the seat positioned at the left corner of the vehicle. For how much longer was that roadtrip from hell going to take? He pleaded, he sure did. But his words had gone into the void, the teacher not taking his condition seriously enough. According to them, there was no way that Ryuusei could go by foot - in order to attend this Biology class, the ride via school bus obligatory. Mercy! Mercy! his stomach kept yelling, but to no avail. He hated this, he hated it so much. Humans are meant to walk, not to be put inside boxes of death! All that movement... God, he hadn't been that sick inside of a vehicle in a long, long time... most likely because the last time he had been in one was months ago, when he went with Rinkusu to Mount Fuji. Pale. Cold sweats. Making a divine effort in order to not puke in there. Why did reaching the mountains take so damn long? But then, suddenely, they stopped. Finally, he mumbled. He wasn't even paying attention to what the hell was going on outside. Ryuusei just really had to get out. It was then that... "Open fire!"The bus was being hit and shaking even more than before now. Already up, the impact made Ryuusei kneel on the ground while holding his stomach. You've gotta... - gag reflex... this wasn't looking good - You've gotta be kidding me...A voice coming from the outside. A villain? So this was going to be one of those days. I hate this school - he began slowly standing up, maximum effort in order to not throw up right there - I hate this school so much...People were already talking to each other, discussing their Quirks and what not. Really? Second Years and they still took time to know one another while some crazy stuff was happening... couldn't they really just learn that while already acting against the threat and having formed groups? That's what Ryuusei would've said, but in that state... In that state he was just thinking on how much he hated at that moment. How th... - he mumbled as he walked towards the door - How the hell does he want us to meet his demands when he hasn't made any freaking one? He reached the door. Fresh air. It felt so good! And then... and then he threw himself on the bus floor, vomiting all over the golden sand. This is actually better - his breathing was now heavy, but he wasn't feeling that sick anymore- Yeah, this is much better.Ryuusei stood up in front of the now opened door. Then he talked to everyone else. Okay, so, look, sorry to interrupt the party, but... W-wait a minute...He stopped for a bit to get a better feeling of his own breath. He needed to bring that heart rate down. Friendly Vulture there said we had thirthy minutes and I don't believe villains wait for us to finish talking in order to start their clocks, but...He took a napkin out his pocket to clean his mouth a bit before finishing. ... But Emi made a good point - he pointed with his thumb at the pink haired girl which, from experience he didn't like that much - Me and Jaz can lead a recon group to the checkpoints. Two more people can join us, a team of 4 should be enough. Got it? Yeah, good... Let's go then, no time to lose. And then, with the confusion outside now having died a bit, Ryuusei Igarashi exited the bus, expecting Jasmine and two others who so wished to follow. --

❝You're showing me colours of the sky, But all I see is Grey❞ 573 w. To the rescue! kenjutsu-f | reinforcement-f | radiant dawn-d | Medical Knowledge- e It was a very pleasant day out and a perfect one for a field trip indeed! Relena was more than ecstatic to be given the opportunity to attend her favorite teacher's trip and was sitting patiently against the window of the bus with a look of utter blis. Her legs kicked back and forth and she was humming a pleasant tune in rhythm to the rocking of the bus.
She was having a good time until the bus had come to a halt. Had they arrived? It seemed a tad premature? Someone let out a cry for help that immediately caused the blonde girl to stand up at attention with a look of concern upon her face. Gas had spread along the perimeter of the bus and she heard someone outside with a masculine voice call to open fire!
Relena activated Radiant Dawn and immediately had thrown a sheet of light along the window lengths of the bus to keep the casualties inside the bus to a minimum, but then she noticed while turning to Nimue that the danger had been more artificial than she had initially realized.
So this was to be a training exercise. Relena grinned at the teacher, giving a nod as she stepped into the aisle of the bus. Quite a few of these people she knew, like Miku who had already come forward with a plan of gathering everyone together. It was sound and made sense, after all. Emi behaved in similar fashion, which made sense considering how professional the girl could be. Relena herself was perfectly fine with the concept of working off the strengths of each other, but then Feng had rushed outside!
"Wait, you don't know what's-"
But then Ryuusei, who looked quite green in the gills, took charge as well. Calling for a team of himself, Jasmine, and two others to follow him out to find the bad man that had kidnapped the hostages. Between staying and going, it was clear that things were getting quite hectic already and dissidence would begin to spread. So Relena pat the sides of her head and approached the front of the bus, spinning around to address the group with a firm look on her face.
"Alright everyone, hero names on call! This is a rescue, after all! Don't want any villains to know our identities, yeah? So if you don't have one, make one up for the time being. My name is Relena Tsuruya, but my hero name for now is Braveshine. I have the power of hard light construction, so I can make things with light.Miku and Emi here have a firm idea, as does Susanoo out there!"
She took a breath to steady herself. Relena wasn't one for speeches, but she kept a firm gaze on the class in the bus. "With that in mind, there are twelve of us. With four as scouting with strong utility, if anyone has supportive roles please remain to assist the wounded and downtrodden."
The blonde girl began glowing a bit brighter as the sun kissed at her alabaster skin. Her hand held out to the class. "The scouts will need a vanguard, so I'm humbly requesting three of you to offer your support as we assist the scouts in tracking down this villainous Ne'er-do-well."
Her emerald eyes glistened as her brows furrowed in determination. She was not playing around. They would all get good marks on this task, or so help her god.
"Heroes sound off!"

Red didnt like biology. Atleast normal biology, who needed to know what all the organs in your body were called? Like who gives a shit about stuff that isnt important, like your spleen or your appendix, all that mattered was the stuff you needed to live, in Reds mind anyway. So to say it was strange that he opted in on this trip would be an understatement to say the least. However, the class wasnt dealing with normal biology today, it was dealing with quirk biology. Specifically how your quirk could affect the natural enviroment, like a forest in the mountains, and if there was anything Red was very willing to learn about, it was quirks. Anything that helped him understand quirks, especially his own, interested him to no small extent. Though he did find it weird that he was going on a school trip on his third day of classes, but eh, it was his own choice to go up to second year, so he wasnt gonna complain about it. He scanned the rest of the bus, looking for a lonely seat close to the back, found one and moved towards it. As he did, he noticed one very interesting fact about it.....He knew almost no one else on this bus. Out of the 12 people attending, he "Knew" three of them, and that was a very liberal use of the word at best. Out of those 3, Yumi was the only one he had actually had a conversation with....but the less said about that, the better, since he was still scared of talking to her after what he'd said last time. Least he wasnt the only guy from 2-C here, atleast. As for the other two, he knew Jaz from brief conversations on UA chat and from that 2v1 combat lesson from a couple days back, which he had mostly recovered from...mostly. Emi he knew cause of UA chat, and the fact her face was in there constantly cause of her Emiji things, so she was easy to recognise to say the least. He took his lonely seat at the back and just leaned against the window, with the headphones in his goggles blasting music to pass the time...hopefully it wasnt too loud. If anyone sat next to him, he'd atleast try and respond if they started a conversation, bringing his goggle mounted headphones off his ears, but he'd be awkward as fuck about it. As the bus was coming close to its intended destination, Red had been looking out the window for most of it, taking in the sights and such, and totally not imagining tricking through all the trees that were surrounding them once he got the chance. His goggle mounted head phones had been cycling through most of the songs on his phone at this point, randomly. He had noticed the dude behind him, who seemed like he was having a bad time on this bus ride, judging from how much he looked like he wanted to puke. Red leaned over, and started to ask "Yo dude, you alrig---" When the bus stopped. Red didnt question it, until he looked outside expecting a bus stop of some kind....when instead it looked like they were in the middle of goddamn nowhere. Red was about to remark on how strange this seemed, his instincts feeling that something was off about all this.
Thats when the screams and smoke grenades started going off. Some fierce sounding voice boomed over the area, calling for their demands or whatever to be met as he opened fire, or he'd start executing hostages. What fuckin demands? Red asked himself, and popped his skates to attempt to kick the window in so he could jump out and start saving the people who were getting dragged off. Unfortunatly, before he could someone with a light quirk reinforced the windows, and then Nimue said they should come up with a strategy, her tone and wink betraying the fact that this was probably a drill. Red lowered his leg, and rushed outside like everyone else had.
They all started talking about their quirks, which was a good idea, but to Red it was just wasting time. They could do that on the move, they only had 30 minutes after all. Seemed like the guy who was close to vomitin---scratch that, had vomited all over the floor had a similar thought, as he proposed that him, Jaz and two others go after the checkpoints. Red spoke up immediatly. "Yeah, im in, lets go" He replied, his bracelets spinning up and skates burning out, ready to get moving. He didnt know who this guy was, but if Jaz was gonna end up going with him then he was too, cause thats where the fun was gonna be. Light quirk girl started giving a speech and suggesting that they use their hero names, but Red didnt really care about that right now. Her mention of a vanguard was interesting, but scouting was probably better for him, he was fast with his quirk after all."Names Reddarcc, make wind when i generate momentum" He'd eventually say, pointing at his bracelets, just so everyone knew what to call him and what his quirk was....most people hardly knew him, he was the new kid.

Demon Machine i no longer fear ending my hell Nyke wasn't too keen on the whole thing. Going out into nature for something like a biology class was new for her. In her previous schools, Nyke's classes were able to bring the outside into the school. Large sections of land and the nature within nin was already a part of the school and one could probably consider it a zoo if they had never seen it before. But that was one of the perks of going to a rich kids school. Things that seemed so grand were pretty mundane. And yet, here Nyke was riding out to a place she was used to having been brought to her. And the worst part of it all was the bus ride over. Nyke's quirk was a mutation. And aside from her devil's tail, the majority of her mutated body was on the inside. it was her metal bones that served as the main portion of her mutation. It made her very sturdy, but also extremely heavy as well. Even now, she weighed more than anyone else on the bus despite being the smallest one there. The meant she had to be careful with where she sat on the bus. If she sat on one of the corners or too close to the side she would make the bus really uneven. She didn't want to be at fault for tipping anything over. She Nyke did her best to sit at the dead center, which had the silent girl surrounded by everyone else. What a pain.
As for those that were on the trip, there were a few that she recognized. Miku, Emi, and Jasmine were the main ones. She remembered Miku from a kidnapping attempt back during the summer. The news of what they did was pretty limited so they never got in trouble for it, but it was a very strange event. There as also Jasmine, of whom Nyke knew from a volleyball match at the start of school and recently from the sports festival. And lastly, there was Emi who had introduced herself in a pretty assertive way with a class dinner. As for the rest, Nyke didn't know them all too well. She might have seen them in the halls of the school but there was no interaction. They were going to learn a lot about Nyke and her silence today, however. Before long, the bus came to a stop and started to shake. It was being attacked from an outside force. A purely unexpected development. The teacher's instructions were odd, however. It seemed she wanted to students to deal with the situation themselves rather than taking care of it as a professional hero or having others do the same. So be it. But Nyke was poor at conversation. Being asked to share and strategize wasn't something she was very good at. She rather let her actions show what she could do. She as everyone else was speaking, Nyke simply stood up and started to walk toward the front of the bus.
"Sturdy."
It was a single word she uddered as she stated for the door and let it open up. She then held her hand out in front of her as if to stop the incoming fire with her small palm. It had absolutely no coverage at all, so what was she expecting? Her quirk was what she was expecting. It was a good way to show the others what she could do as they formulated their plan. The metal bones that were inside of her body could be molded to cover the outside. And she had gotten so used to her quirk that she could create more than just a base covering. She could make something that was incredibly large and bulky. A massive gauntlet that could cover herself and anyone else behind her if they ducked down a bit. She was going to serve as the shield for everyone else's exit. So when she stepped off the bus, she held her new large metal arm in front of her to serve as a shield for the others namely Ryuusei, to exit. They could use that moment to get off the bus and find a place less open to fire and a place was was safer. Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

i wonder how many wishes a star can give The great outdoors weren't all that great for a sheltered boy like him. And when biology was involved, he had to admit he was a little less than enthused. It was precisely this distaste that strung him along into this otherwise empty seat headed nowhere. To push his limits, his undeniably frugal comfort zone, was a necessary step toward improvement. Heavy affliction of self-disappointment could only go so many ways, and after wallowing in regret having avoided the sports festival, he whittled his choices to one.
With such few riders, the bus was operating at a fraction of a fraction of capacity. He arrived at the tail end of boarding, and when he stepped on, all the students had maximally dispersed. It made sense. Why share a space when transport real estate was plentiful and available for the taking? This was preferable, he told himself. Not the least bit isolating, he sighed, sweeping aside shards of his broken heart as he took shelter in the corner, between dated leather and a dusty emergency window.
Still, he took comfort in the fact there were a handful of familiar faces to cling to. Even more so, he had his trusted friends, stitched from spandex and kevlar with love. They'd never ventured farther than Musutafu, and this was his chance to treat them.
Unfortunately, everyone here was in for a treat when a rumbling broke from the shrubbery. Desperation filled his ears as civilian cries were snuffed. His heart leapt, nearly falling apart once more. Though the nurse tried to soothe them, he was fixated outside, horror flooding his senses at the scene.
Thus whooshed her wink, her sole signal of safety, the string to keep hold his sanity. "Count on us? But there are people getting hurt, we need to call for help!" He poked at his phone, sadly to no avail, as cheap phone plans were the devil. Up in the mountains, reception was weak. They really were alone.
It was in that moment he stared into the rift that stretched from horizon to horizon, between a hopeful like him and those who fill others with hope, the gap between Kutsu and his peers. The way they commanded the center, took charge and kept cool, even with villains encroaching. They knew they might not make it back home, yet that didn't stop them from rising.
And he had to too. With a slight tremble, he rose to his feet, an octopus wrapped around his shoulders and a rabbit perched atop the back support in front of him. "Call me Kutsu. I, um, my quirk lets me work together with these two. This is Pasta." The aquatic creature wiggled all seven tendrils in a bubbly nice-to-meet-you. She was missing a limb due to material constraints, and she shared the same wingspan as her creator.
"And this is Hops." He bared his steel teeth, sharpness glinting in the light, while tall ears waved back and forth in greeting.
Following Miku's lead, he hoped his introduction would be enough for others to plan with. And it was reassuring to put some names to faces, especially when some were ready to roll and he would much rather rock.
The exit was starting to crowd with everyone scrabbling to seize their attentions. An awkward wince fell onto his face when one of them rushed for fresh air. He half-raised a hand, eyes flitting between the assertive pinkette and the blonde.
"I don't think I can scout, but I can try as vanguard. I can't really do anything long-ranged though. If Emi's okay with it, we can help each other." And to his addressee specifically, "I'm not sure how salt manipulation works, but… salt seems to be what keeps these guys moving." He patted his stuffed rabbit's head and one of the octopus' arms, their plush appearances belying a toughness.

Today was supposed to be a good day. The first biology class –a class that she liked to think she excelled at— of her second year at U.A. was to be a trip up to the mountains. Biology and the wilderness being two topics she was particularly fond of, Noriko had been looking forward to the trip. In fact, the bus ride over was very relaxing--despite being cramped as she was-- in no small part because of the idyllic weather that allowed her to bask in the sun’s rays. All the while she was gazing out of the window, her eyes glazed over until the outside became little more than vague, blurry shapes as she let the rhythm of the music in her headphones take her away.
Of course, it seemed that nothing good lasted long. An abrupt jerk of the bus sent the reptilian girl’s forehead into a brief and unwanted introduction to the window (or, to be more precise, a thin sheet of light just in front of the window) that was more shocking than it was painful. Blinking the stars out of her eyes and readjusting her headphones, Noriko regained her bearings just in time to catch the latter half of Tsuruya’s speech. A few context clues later and she had (mostly) gathered the broad strokes of what was transpiring; a villain was holding people hostage, there wasn’t enough time to wait for Pros to get here so they’d have to do something on their own, and to do that they were dividing into teams. Everything was happening so fast that she didn’t have the time nor the inclination to wonder why their teacher wasn’t the one leading them.
Standing to her full height, Noriko glanced out the towards the front of the bus and then out the window. As much as she’d have liked to make her way to the front, her size would probably make her an obstruction to the others as she passed. Instead, she simply followed the others’ lead and introduced herself: “I’m Noriko. I can hit things and get hit by things.” Also, perhaps more prominently, her quirk had turned her into a large purple lizard person. “I’ll go with whoever needs me.”

(sorry for holdin;’ you guys up. All that came before was a bit intimidating to absorb so I’m mostly getting out a basic post to make sure im here and this is moving).
Expecting some odd little field trip for a biology class, Yumi was more than a little surprised when the bus stopped and the nurse at the front of the bus, hosting their class, announced there was a rescue scene to be helping with. Now, of course, Yumi had recalled that she’d been told to pack her hero suit by one of the other teachers, but she’d always been confused as to why. Where they going to have her use her quirk as some example of biology? It always seemed like a weird request until now when miss Nimue winked. Riiiiight. This was UA. They couldn’t have a normal lesson could they.
She was at least thankful another teacher had warned her to wear her costume. Without it she was more useless than a magikarp holding an everstone. With a deep breath she charges herself up once everyone else was getting out of the bus ahead of her, sparks burning through her school uniform and revealing the hero suit she’d warn beneath, her electrical dart motion style helping her get out of the bus and rise up into the sky, trying to get a good view of exactly what was going on before looking to her fellow classmates to see if any of them were forming a plan.
(if I ignored anything important to do with Yumi I do apologize, I genuinely just wanted to make sure I wasn’t delaying you guys further.)

Let's unwrite these pages And replace them with our own words
What the fuck am I even doing here? The thought swirling in her head was inevitable. Jasmine Noir, the lioness of Yuuei High, the fighter, the mechanic, the tattoo artist and the guitar player, was going out of her way to attend a fucking biology class. It was so out there even she had trouble believing it and that was saying something considering she was the one who made the decision to attend. Her reasoning wasn't something other-wordly. Lots of subjects interested her and biology seemed like something she figured knowing about would be useful. Hence why she was there, minding her own business on the bus ride to wherever they were going, shooting Ryuusei a sympathetic look. The kid really couldn't handle transportation all too well. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand... then all hell broke loose. Of course it did. This was Yuuei, of all damn places. Some shit was bound to hit the fan at some point or another. "Demands? What fucking demands?" Jasmine replied through a groan, clearly irritated. She quickly ducked down for cover just in case they decided to try to shoot them through the windows. Before long the blonde found herself listening to the other people in the bus and... well, it was a mess. Everybody was trying to lead and it was no good at all. Her thought process aligned with Ryuusei's honestly. They were second years; shouldn't they be able to work together on the fly by this point? Ryuusei had taken the initiative immediately, thinking much along the same lines she was. They'd go ahead and scout forward to see what's going on. Two people quickly joined them - Red and Nyke, both of whom she had experience working with. Well, more with the latter than the former, really, as with the former all that happened was Jasmine bonking him in the schnoz. "Y'all work your shit out and hit us up via a text or something once you're done deciding who's calling the shots, yeah?" Jasmine said, her mood making it clear she had very little patience for shit like this. Not today. As a result, she simply followed Ryuusei and Nyke, keeping her head low and scanning the perimeter as she did so. C Quirk C Strength D Durability D Speed E Mobility E Stamina
TL;DR: -Jasmine basically followed Ryuusei together with Nyke and Redd -"Y'all work your shit out and hit us up via a text or something once you're done deciding who's calling the shots, yeah?"

Post by Shimizu Haruto on May 12, 2019 13:33:05 GMT -4
An exploration of the effects of quirks on mountain forests? This was exactly the sort of thing Shimizu Haruto had chosen UA for! The white-haired boy had leapt at the chance to be involved in this course- Fortunately, his role in the class had downgraded from class president to health committee, freeing up plenty of time for more electives! Quirk biology and impacts had long been an interest of the boy, although his age gave him few chances to explore it in any depth. Naturally, he wasn't about to miss this one!
He recognized most of the classmates around him- Some more than others, of course. It was only natural that Miku would join- The class was about the impact on trees, and Haruto was well aware of what his fellow cooking club member's quirk was. Yumi and Jasmine, he was vaguely familiar with- Both had been present during the nightmarish ending of the Semper Fi military camp. He had also treated Jasmine after the sports festival combat tournament's first round- Not that she had needed much treatment. If he had a chance, he would have to make sure her false tooth wasn't causing any discomfort.
Speaking of treatment, he also recognized Feng from the aftermath of that first round- She was definitely looking much better than before, to his relief! Her opponent had truly done a number on her. As for the rest, most were familiar in one way or another- A few had been a part of the rescue team meetup, which had gone unfortunately- Though it seemed that the two who had argued so vehemently on that day were getting along much better now, to his relief.
As for the rest, he would most likely have only passed them in the hallways, not having had any significant interactions. The boy would smile and greet his friends as he boarded the bus, while giving a friendly nod to those he was not as familiar with. Not expecting anything unusual, the boy was simply wearing his school uniform. While he had his bag, it was not especially heavily packed- Books and pencils for taking notes on the lesson, a water bottle, a homemade bento for lunch, and his first aid kit. Even that kit was not especially carefully packed, mostly being just in case a classmate were to trip and scrape their leg- As they were going along with the school nurse, Haruto doubted he would need it, but he made a habit of taking it anyways.
In any case, it was a smooth ride, up until it wasn't. The bus came to a stop, but before the students could even ask if they had arrived, explosions would ring out, and multicolored gas would waft towards the bus. Sounds of shouting could be heard, and Haruto's heart sank like a stone. This scenario was all to familiar, albeit out in the open instead of in a grim basement. He couldn't help but glance at Jasmine and Yumi, to see if their thoughts took the same direction as his had- That time as well, all he had wanted was a chance to learn about the biology of quirks!
The shouts of the civilians called him back to the military camps, that deadly day. The day that had given him the determination to emphasize rescue operations. His breathing becoming shallower, Haruto would stretch his arms out towards the approaching tear gas- His mind far too distracted to wonder why the canisters had been aimed so far away from the students. This time, he would make sure that no one had to die!
Even as he prepared to purify the incoming clouds, he heard Nakahara-sensei speaking. The calmness in her voice was infectious, drawing Haruto from the cage of memories he had nearly fallen into. He still prepared to absorb the tear gas- Not knowing what effect the vapor would have, he was unwilling to allow it to reach his classmates- But his heartbeat settled and his breaths returned to a more normal rate. Right. A strategy. That was a good idea. And speaking of good ideas, Miku was definitely right that to make a strategy, it was for the best if everyone introduced what they could do. During the sports festival, wasn't that what he had done himself during the rescue operations event?
This wasn't an event, it was real, but that didn't change what they had to do. "Shimizu Haruto. My quirk allows me to absorb toxic chemicals- Like, say, those clouds of gas that those guys fired at us- And turn it into a less harmful form which I can then manipulate to do things like lifting debris." He gave the cliff notes summary of his quirk for the benefit of his classmates. "I, uh, also know some measure of first aid, if needed." Although with Nimue there, Haruto doubted his mediocre skill level would count for much.
