 at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She did not look entirely happy when she said she could still hide it, even if it was February and it was normal for her to wear sweaters it felt like something bad to do and she was glad when Gil agreed with her and she leaned into the hug that he gave her when he wrapped his arm around her and she held it on her baby bump, albeit very little and had her own hand on his. She was still very insecure about her own pregnancy and was still not entirely sure how happy she was about it, it helped that the morning sickness was gone now but if she could not tell his kids and if they were not happy, what would she say? They were the first on her list to tell, okay their boss knew but that made a lot of sense and he had been positive and she could stay home as long as she wanted as long as she let him on time when she would not be able to finish her blog. She should think about something else, so she asked him albeit a bit shy if he wanted a dog. She looked up at him and smiled though when he did and was reassured by the answer. She giggled when he said mused about a dog breed and she nodded, she did not like those as well, "You should learn how to groom in that case." She laughed shortly and couldn't get her eyes of him as he mused on what he wanted, she pouted slightly when he did not want a Japanese dog, she wanted a Shiba inu. There was a whole list and she could not resist shaking her head with a big grin on her face. "You are impossible." But she kissed him anyway shortly on the jaw before thinking about it some more. She wasn't good with dog breeds. "All I want is a dog that I can proudly call a dog, albeit it would be nice to have something small to bring to work." After all they were both working adults, they had to consider that too. They did now have the space for a dog though and she liked the idea. She took her phone to simply look up dog breeds and scroll through the pictures. Not sure if G was watching over her shoulder but she did not notice the girls coming back downstairs. The two talked dogs, G made his demands on what not to get. No long haired dogs, no japanese dogs like the overrated Shiba Inu's that were everywhere. To which Hana pouted, she probably wanted a shiba inu. Laaaame. She told him how impossible he was and then kissed him on the jaw, which made him smile.
Once Hana said that all she wants is a dog that she can proudly call a dog, made G have an idea. He quickly said "Then how about Dalma-Hhhheeeyyyy there girls" G interrupted himself when he saw the two girls coming back downstairs. He didnt wanna spoil the surprise dog breed to them, hence why he stopped mid sentence.
He didnt know what was up, something Haruu seemed extra shy about something. He called em over
"Hey there girls. Did you choose your rooms? Come here so we can all just chill" he said and tapped his lap, because it looked like Haruu needed it. Hence why he avoided the word 'talk' and said 'chill'.
He just hoped it wasnt something bad or serious, did he really screw up with Haruu and make her uncomftarble? All he wanted was to make her happy and make a complete family

Haruuhi gripped Miku's hand that much tighter when they made it down the stairs and G greeted them. She seemed to shrink behind Miku whenever G spoke, still unsure of whether or not she should tell them anything at all... she really didn't want to make things worse just because of all her own insecurities... it wasn't fair to them and maybe she really just keep her mouth shut about them.
She walked up to one of the vacant spots on an adjacent sofa, even though G invited her to sit next to, or even on him. She just... couldn't do that right now. She sat alone (or with Miku if she sat with her) and remained quiet for entirely too long, leaving a pretty awkward silence in the air. That is, until she answered G's question about if they found their rooms.
"I...I really like... the one nearest to the garage if that's okay... "
She said softly, glancing to Miku with this look in her eyes that was just begging for help. She couldn't do it... she couldn't talk to them about it!

Miku felt Haruuhi's grip soon tighten when G greeted them. Haruuhi totally shrinked and was behind Miku. And Miku didnt know what to do. Soon Haruuhi said that she found a room that she liked and chose for herself. Miku played along and followed suit in saying what room she chose for herself. But she also needed to find a way to get G and Haruuhi alone. Maybe Haruu was just shy around Hana.
"Hey dad, what'cha doin?" Miku asked
G answered her "Just talking about dogs and stuff. You?"
"Oh, Haruuhi and I talked about you. She said she wanted to ask you something about a move when your next lesson comes" it was a lie. It was just something so she and G can talk alone. Maybe during their next martial arts lesson, when he's away from Hana, the two can talk
"Really? Sure, we'll talk training later. Now come here so I can give ya a hug~" G called the two and extended his arms
Miku gently pulled Haruuhi with her, just to see will she even budge and go closer to G or is she petrified to just that one spot. She shouldnt be scared now, right?

Haruuhi was in fact, petrified to that one spot. Regardless of the fact that Miku tried to pull her along, Haruuhi stayed put, mulling her thoughts and anxieties over... she honestly was surprised it all didn't bubble over into a fit of epic proportions! No... she had to stay in control of this... last time she let it get the better of her she nearly deafened Eli in her panic. She sucked in a deep breath, looking up at her family now sitting across from her. Miku had tried to open up communication, and that backfired as G stayed firmly where he was... understandably so.
"I'm not mad about anything, I love everyone here more than anything... but I'm... I'm really scared. Every time my life starts to make sense, something bad always happens... I... I'm scared of ending up with nothing again. You guys are... you're moving away, you're getting married and..."
Haruuhi's eyes shifted from G to Hanako, hesitation stopping her from finishing her sentence right away. Her heart felt like it was stuck in her throat, and a light squeak escaped her lips as she tried to finish. Another clear of her throat, Haruuhi gripped the couch cushion underneath her butt. She hadn't even told Miku what she found out in the kitchen only moments ago because it tormented her...
"And you're starting your own family... and... I feel like... because of that I'm going to lose all of you..."
She said much more gently, her head now tilting forward as she didn't look at anything but the floor in front of her.

G didnt understand what was going on. He figured something was up and that Haruuhi was being all cute and shy. But thats why he invited her to come to him so they can hug and cuddle. Nothing like a bit of extra love to make one relaxed. But the poor girl was petrified and unable to move. Miku tried hinting to G that Haruu wanted to talk. But that hint went straight past G.
Haruu soon sucked in a deep breath and looked up at her family and she spoke. She was scared and she expressed her fears, although she did stop mid sentence and then sorta coninued. But after she explained her distress G spoke.
"Aww, baby girl. You dont have to worry about losing us. Yeah, we're getting married and becoming a big happy family. But that big happy family includes you as well. You're our daughter and there's no way we'd allow you to end up with nothin. I mean look at this place. We went here so we can all live together. My apartment is too small to include everyone. I mean, I guess if we all squeeze together, but thats not the point. The point is we're becoming a family and everyone under this room is family........................................... plus the dog that aint here yet" G said, because he really wanted that dog. That was no baby innuendo, G just really wanted a dog as well

at most I'm sleeping all these demons away She eyed the two girls with worry, she had looked at G when he tried to suggest something but quickly had turned her eyes to Haruuhi and Miku, switching from one to the other, what was going on? She dropped her feet back on the ground and went to sit up straight and wondered if they wanted her to leave or something, instead she just kept a bit of a distance from G as she had done before. When they were talking about it and she looked at him shortly when he answered and tried to make sure Haruuhi felt okay, that was probably just them moving away right. She felt a bit uncomfortable, at the wrong place at the wrong time. Haruuhi saying she loved everyone more than anything, but to be honest, she felt like the words were not for her or if she should that she did not deserve it. She went to sit on her hands to stop fiddling with them and leaned a bit forward because she thought about getting up and walking away, but Haruuhi wasn't done and she did not want to be rude and ruin even what fragile relationship they had right now. She felt so bad about everything, she did this, she ruined it, she just wanted to leave and not fuck it up because she was already on her way to do that but she sat silent and stared with big eyes at Haruuhi and her right hand wiggled away from her upper leg and the couch. She moved it up and put it on her belly. How did she, the bump wasn't even visible, she had not said anything and her eyes darted from her to Miku before finally looking at G, what would they do and say, she did not know. She did not want to say anything but all that went in her mind was that it was not true that she was losing her family because of that. But it was not her that should talk. She looked at G as he spoke and nodded slightly, she just decided that she would want to say one thing. Because even if she liked what G said, she had the feeling that he did not really acknowledge what Haruuhi meant with their own family. On the other hand, maybe he did, but she just wanted to chime in to make sure Haruuhi knew she felt it too. "Haruuhi, just because we are getting a little one, doesn't make you less important. I need to count on you as a big sister now too." She smiled saying it softly, hoping Haruuhi felt not surpassed or anything and also did not feel that she only counted as a big sister now. She knew that feeling but she would do everything in her power to not let Haruuhi or Miku feel how she did with Nanami. "The same goes to Miku, of course." MADE BY VEL OF GS |

'you're our daughter'
G said as he reassured her that nothing would change between them. Those words though, they felt... weird. our daughter. She looked up from the floor then glanced from Hana to G as G spoke. She looked so uncertain, so worried though she managed a bit of a nod and little smile as G went on comment how they could all cram into the tiny apartment if they really tried. of course she knew they couldn't... but it was a nice thought.
Her eyes then looked over to Hana whenever she took her turn to reassure her that she wasn't going to get kicked out just because they were going to have a baby. She told her that she would have to stick around to be this kids big sister, and Haruuhi tilted her head curiously as she really hadn't thought about that at all... if she still was a part of this family, then yeah that meant she was going to be a big sister didn't it? like a legit big sister? Sure there was no blood relation but this was still her family so it counted...
"H...hunh... I didn't think about that... you guys are sure...right? "
She asked again, hoping that this was really all just in her head... she hesitated but finally stood up off of her sofa and lunged over towards G and hugged him tightly. She would then worm her way towards Hana and hug her too.

Miku watched as G and Hana reassured Haruuhi that all was going to be fine. They're a family. Thats when it just clicked to Miku about what Hana said. They were getting a little one. Miku smiled as she was happy for them. And it seemed like that worked for Haruuhi as the girl finally calmed down, she was gonna be a big sister now after all.
"100% sure" G said just to reassure Haruu even more.
Haruuhi soon went to G and hugged both him and Hana. G then playfully grabbed Haruuhi and sat her on his lap/leg. Miku smiled and went over to them, hugged both G and Hana. And soon also sat in his lap aka on other leg. G then hugged all of em, the 2 daughters and the 1 mother. Miku happily hugged everyone she could
Although, the cheesy and touchy moment was 'ruined' when G spoke... well it wasnt ruined, he just had to throw somethin in
"Just FYI, we didnt lie about the dog. Im gonna really get a doggo for y'all" G said
Well, seems like they were really gonna get that dog and not just use it as a cover for the apparent baby they have. How fun
