Caught in the Middle [G, Haruuhi, Miku]

As they were going to live together, they surely had made new keys, or well a couple because at least Hanako needed one. With this meeting, she was sure that G was first at the house but as he wasn't and no one answered the door when she rung the bell, she tried out her key and walked in. No one in the living room or kitchen, she had no idea where they would go or if G would give a tour instantly through the house, she wasn't sure what his plans were or how to tell the girls but at this point, she thought that the best thing was to fix them all a cup of hot cocoa. 

She walked into the big kitchen, skipping past the lounge area, which might be a good idea to use for talking, she looked around, it was still kind of empty here but they were working on that with moving her stuff as well as just things in general. This house had baffled her and she was sure that it surprised the others as well. She fixed up the machine and leaned against the kitchen counter, she remembered that she felt nervous when meeting Haruuhi and going alone to the Tech Convention or shopping with Miku for Christmas, she ticked against the golden earrings that she always wore and that the girl brought her. She looked at the mood ring, which gave off the clear colour of nerves: purple. Also on her other ring finger, she wore a beautiful ring, should she have taken it off? Should she? How would they else tell casually?
She looked up from her thoughts when she heard someone call out, that could only be G and she immediately started to smile. "In the Kitchen." She called back. Would their voices reach far enough or were they going to have to text each other in the future to make sure you found each other in this huge house?  She shook her head and fixed the four mugs and was looking for a tray if it was necessary. This could not harm right, they would know it was not bribery right? Oh, the worries. 

She quickly got the last cup with hot chocolate and put it on the tray in front of her, before she could decide where to move, considering this house had way too many spots, she was already greeted by the sight of the three of them. Putting the tray back down on the kitchen island, she smiled, trying to hide her nerves. G might be just as nervous as she was. She did like how he kissed her on the cheek but how much did the girls agree on that? "I am glad to see you." She mused happily though when G asked how she was doing, for now, she was doing fine, the question was how long she would feel this way. 

She wanted to hide her ring with her right hand but decided to screw it, if she focused on it, they would see it earlier. "Let's sit down, I made us all hot chocolate." That was a Hajimari remedy, right? If she remembered Christmas correctly and she took it in her own house back at the penthouse just for G and now they obviously had it in their grocery shopping list while being here. She looked at G and wondered how to start because they had not really come up with a plan when considering to tell the two girls the long list of things that were happening and changing their lives. Maybe they should just sit themselves on the bar stools around this kitchen island and they could talk instantly. Maybe they should start with showing the renovations, not only the painting, reconstructions and everything G had done but they had worked hard in their free time to find new furniture for them and to redecorate the house. Maybe she should suggest that, or maybe she should state it in the way that they were going to live together and that they were working on decorating the house, distract the two of them with new rooms and the like. She bit her lip softly and just remained quiet. Not her best approach but she believed a better approach than spilling the beans in a bad manner but than she realized G wasn't good with words either. 

She would just make sure they all sat down, she decided to take the initiative but also because she could not stand for too long anymore or more: already. If G would not stop her or if G would look at her for something to say she would start else she kept her mouth short. "We decided to live together and thought this house might be better and spacier for all of us." Was that a good idea? She looked at Haruuhi, "We hoped you would stay here as well, your room will be upstairs and ready for you to decorate it as you want." Surely there were already old things that G had before but they clearly had not cleaned out her room in Musutafu but they had made a start with fixing the paint and such regular things that you needed before starting a room. She turned to Miku, wishing to just lean on G as she wanted mentally and physically now. "We fixed you a room too, so you can stay over whenever you want." She did not want to form it like a way that the girls had no option, the problem was Haruuhi and staying here instead of Musutafu but she wanted to address very well the we version, she also hoped Haruuhi would come here with them. 

Okay, never serve hot chocolate to the Hajimari family when you have to bring them news, now suddenly it looked like bribing as Haruuhi seemed to hide behind her mug and Miku seemed to choke into the liquid. Wonderful job Hana, killing off the kids. She felt bad and stared with angry eyes at Gil, such subtlety was something he still has not heard off. For god's sake what had they discussed! The way they looked, the not so excited: oh that's cool. Made her dread what they had to tell more and she looked shortly at Gil again before she wanted to consider how to say it and she put her hand shortly and invisible on her bump, still invisible but it was like she brushed off something invisible in the motion. 

She took a sip of her hot chocolate and thought about how to break this news. "Why don't you-" But she wasn't fast enough to speak as Gil opened his mouth at the same time, speaking louder than her. She had wanted to ask the girls to pick their rooms and look around what they liked and wanted but "We are." She put the cup down, "having a." She put her hands against his lips and did not know how to fix this and stared at her boyfriend, no fiance and turned her head to the children. "Dog." Was the first thing that came in her mind. "We are having a dog." She smiled and lowered her hands and stared at Gil and tilted her head a bit so only he could see her staring daggers at him, could he learn to read the atmosphere. "I thought we would not tell yet, darling." Her darling was with a rolling r, showing how pissed off she was. It were his children for heaven's sake. "It would have been a surprise." She turned back to the girls, this time completely smiling, "Well surprise." Oh god, she was going to show in a few weeks, this was a horrible decision, the whole putting things together was a horrible decision. "If you girls want, you could pick a room?" She decided to distract them so she could step on Gil's toes. Idiot.
