That's it, tomorrow is the big event, the tournament of power or whatever. This is the final day to prepare and the final day for the pre-event sparring. Today his 2 strongest students would fight. Chise and someone who he sees more as a partner, an equal rather then a student. Kenshin.
Who G also has just took to the Pink Jackal for the first time. He showed him around. At the front it was just a nightclub. In the back, they had a training area. Now the two just needed to wait for Chise to arrive "So, you're gonna fight my star student, SleepySheep. Her real name is Chise and she is my first student. She's the reason Im teaching anyone anything. If it werent for her, I doubt I'd teach you." G explained. "I wanted to be her personal sensei and help her fight. She is in General Support Studies and I wanted to give her a fighting chance like the students from the Hero Course. She's also the only one who I taught my peoples martial art, while others mostly had a variation on street fighting" G explained
Now once he organized the sparring match, he hoped Chise would come. He hasnt seen her since November

It felt like eternity since she last trained with G. The last time she saw him, he had brutally beaten up a villain, a less than pleasant sight to behold. The peach haired girl hoped that this time, things would not be so...gruesome. He had messaged her not too long ago asking if she would want to train, giving her a variety of options to choose from. The class president wanted to show off the training she had done so far, so she figured a sparring session would be best. If she couldn't show off what she already knew, how would she hope to get any better? The young teen walked into the doors of the elusive nightclub, finding herself a bit out of place, although this was not her destination. That, of course, was hidden from plain sight of the general public, that was a training area in behind the nightclub. Now she just had to walk past the empty bar stools and make her way to the training area G said he'd meet her at.
She was lucky there weren't too many people at the nightclub, she didn't know what she'd do if she ran into any unwanted company. Her violet eyes soon made contact with the white haired man in question before shifting off to the other figure in the room beside G. Was this a friend of G's? Perhaps he was Miku's friend? He seemed rather young...the redhead was confused as to why the young child was there with them. She didn't bother to voice her question, instead choosing to smile as she walked over to G,, bowing before him like a student would do when facing their master. "It's good to see you again G, it's been a while," she said, a warm smile displayed on her rosy cheeks as per usual.

At last, the day that Kenshin had eagerly been awaiting had finally arrived! Ever since G had announced that he would be putting his students into pairs to spar, the boy could just barely contain his excitement. Just the thought of battling against someone personally trained by G himself was more than enough to ignite the boy's fiery passion and his battle-loving spirit. This was Kenshin's first time visiting the Pink Jackal. He had heard the name of the place back when he met the pro-hero Army of One at the park. Sadly, a combination of school, sword practice, bass practice, and vigilante stuff kept him from being able to visit the place and see the spider lady. Making a mental note to try to find a way to free up his schedule so that he could come by the place more often, Kenshin followed G as the man showed him around the nightclub. However, it was not the nightclub itself that interested Kenshin. It was the training area in the back that got the boy grinning with excitement. He could not wait to meet (and more importantly, fight) his opponent. G explained that the boy would be facing off against his star student, as well as his first student. Her name was Chise, and she was the reason that G was even teaching anyone anything. "I see. I'll be sure to thank her, then."Apparently, Chise was a UA student, but was in Support Studies rather than one of the Hero Courses. Now it would have been easy for most people to underestimate the girl from that fact alone. However, Kenshin was not most people. He knew that being a student of G, Chise was undoubtedly trained very well. G even confirmed this when he revealed that unlike his other students who had only learned a variation of street fighting, Chise was taught the martial arts of G's people. Underestimating this girl was something only a fool would do, and Kenshin was no fool. Kenshin then saw a peach-haired girl arrive. This must undoubtedly be Chise. Smiling and bowing, Kenshin waited and let her and G speak to each other first before going over to introduce himself. "Hello! My name is Kenshin. It's an honor and a pleasure to meet you!"As he lowered his head to bow once more, Kenshin could not help but feel excited. This would no doubt be one of his toughest fights yet. "I look forward to seeing your skills firsthand during our spar." | Word count: 420
Notes: Chise will be like the sixth person now who'll get to beat up Kenshin lol

And then she arrived, Chise! G hasnt seen her since November, so when he saw her, he gave her a hug and then patted her on the head. "Yeah, it's been forever. I didnt really wanna bug you, figured you were too busy for me" G said But there was no time to mingle now. Today was work, it was the final day before the tournament. G had no idea if Chise was in it or not. Tournament or not, sparring was needed.
Kenshin briefly introduced himself to Chise. G expanded on that "Chise, this is Kenshin, he's more of a partner then a student, but he wanted to learn how to fight. Considering he's a Vigilante like me, I figured he should fight my star student. And dont worry, he's not much of a hand to hand fighter, he's more of a sword boi." then he addressed Kenshin "And Kenshin, you can chill, Chise knows Im a Vigilante and thats gucci. She's gucci, so chill" then he once again adressed Chise "Kenshin wanted to be in UA, but he couldnt because reasons, so I figured he should spar with someone from UA, again, my star student. And to make it more UA, we're gonna do our own tournament of power that I just thought of now. You two are gonna fight and Im gonna mimic a judge and the rules. Whenever you two think that you're ready, you can fight. The battle ends when the other cant fight, aka he's either KO'd or restrained" G said

After Chise stood up from her bow, G wrapped his arms around the girl and gave her a big bear hug, causing Chise's cheeks to heat up slightly. She had missed the great bear hugs from G, it was good to see him again after so long. "It's alright, school's just been a bit taxing on me but now I have some time to spare. I'm sorry if you thought I was neglecting you out of choice," Chise said softly, her smile diminishing slightly as she stood in G's embrace for a bit longer than what should be deemed necessary. Chise turned her attention to the young boy as he spoke up once G had let her go from his grasp, softly smiling as he introduced himself and stating his excitement in getting the chance to spar with her. "I look forward to seeing your skills as well Kenshin-san," the redhead said with a slight bow. G finished up with introductions, introducing the combatants to one another before speaking about what they would be doing today.
So Kenshin was a partner to G hmm? Did he have the same relationship as he and Toma had? It felt nice to hear G say that she was his star student, even if he was training other people, he still saw her as the best. At the mention of swords, Chise spoke up, "Does that mean I'll have to fight with a sword as well or is it going to be an unfair advantage if Kenshin uses a weapon and I don't?" It didn't seem right if they both didn't fight given the same advantages, it wouldn't be fair. The prospect of a tournament peaked Chise's interest, who all was a part of the tournament? How many rounds would there be? Was there a prize at the end? Chise turned to G again and said, "What are the rules and limitations of this spar? I don't want to do something that would be considered as unfair," the peach haired girl asked.

Seeing G give Chise a hug and pat on the head, Kenshin could not help but smile a bit. It was adorable! They looked more like a father and daughter than a teacher and student. It was clear that there was a close bond there. It was clear that there was a lot of respect between the two. Kenshin stopped smiling and raised an eyebrow upon hearing G tell Chise so casually that Kenshin was a vigilante like him. The boy figured that G must really trust this girl for him to just tell her something like that. Thankfully, that did appear to be the case, as G assured Kenshin that Chise was indeed trustworthy. The boy nodded. "Right. I trust your judgment. And if I can trust you, then I have no problem with trusting Chise."Chise brought up a very good point. It would not be fair if she did not have a weapon to defend herself with if Kenshin were allowed to use his blade arm. Then again, it was clear that she was a hand to hand fighter, something Kenshin was not at all good at. How would G make them fight in a way that was fair to both of them? Kenshin supposed that G would come up with something that would make this fight interesting yet even. Kenshin looked at G as Chise asked the man what the rules and limitations of this spar would be. She did not want to do something considered unfair. The boy agreed, wanting this to be a fair fight. Though if G did end up shifting the balance in Chise's favor, Kenshin would not be too upset by that. He did like a challenge, after all. Still, the boy was curious to see what G would come up with. | Word count: 301

Chise looked worried and asked if she'll be forced to fight against an armed opponent. G shook his head "No, both of you fight unarmed. This is to improve your hand to hand combat. There are times when Quirks will be a no go and the only weapon you'll have is your fists. Imagine as if its a martial art tournament. Use your hands and your feet and think with your noggin. And use your noggin. The sparring fight is over if the opponent is restrained, knocked out or if they forfeit and give up. I think that's what usual fights have as rules. Basically fight martial arts and dont maim the opponent. Otherwise you're a Villain and that's no good!" G speaks as he explains the rules.
He then looked at Kenshin "Yeah, Chise's cool. She the best. You can totally trust her. She was even trained by me and Sun once" G said, as he trusted Chise utterly and completely. She was the first one to who he admitted that he was a Villain, he told her everything. Every single thing. She knew him. She even met Toma at Semper Fi. Kenshin can trust her
Now back to the sparring. G walks away to give them space, he is on the sidelines now "Ok, enough chit chat. We came to train and learn and thats what we're gonna do... So get ready for your match. Ready..... Seeeeet.... FIGHT!!!!" he said

Seemed like they would be fighting with fists, giving Chise a bit of an edge here. Plus, it will give Chise more experience fighting against someone, strengthening and improving the skills she already knows. The goal was to wither restrain your opponent, knock them out, or make them forfeit. It seemed the first option was the way Chise would go, she would hate to knock a child out just because they were sparring against one another. Chise turned to both Kenshin and G and nodded in understanding of the rules, now clear on what she was allowed to do.
When G began speaking to Kenshin about her, she felt her cheeks heat up just a tad, hearing G say that she was great. "I wouldn't say all that great," Chise said with a sheepish chuckle, twirling her hair out of force of habit. Clearing the compliment from her head, Chise had to focus on the fight, she couldn't let anything distract her or else she would loose right on the spot. She took a deep breath before standing ready facing Kenshin as he too got ready, waiting for G's call to start the match. Once the word was spoken, Chise dashed from her spot to Kenshin, taking the offensive approach to fighting at first, wanting to see what Kenshin would to do defend himself or counter attack.

Kenshin listened as G explained the rules for the battle. Unarmed combat, which meant no sword and no armor. Just fists and wits. This meant that Kenshin would be at a massive disadvantage here, seeing as the boy knew next to nothing about martial arts, while the same could not be said of Chise. Still, he would not complain. In fact, Kenshin was looking forward to a challenging fight. He wanted to see how far he could get without relying on his quirk. Plus, this would be excellent training for those situations where he would have to fight while his quirk was in the middle of recharging. After hearing G call Chise cool and the best (with Chise being modest about it), Kenshin watched as G stepped away into the sidelines to give the two room to fight. He then declared the start of the match. Alright, it's showtime! Assuming a battle stance, Kenshin watched as Chise made the first move, dashing towards him. Not knowing what to expect, Kenshin backed away for now, doing his best to keep his distance from her. It would be foolish to move in close without knowing what she was capable of. At first, that was how the battle was going. Kenshin would try to avoid getting too close, and instead observe Chise's movements from a safe enough distance. Still, evading would not be an effective strategy for long. He would need to attack at some point. However, doing so would be reckless without a plan of some kind. Seeing as he was not trained, his punch would be easy to read and either block, dodge, or counter should he choose to throw one. Instead, Kenshin decided to try something rather unorthodox. Seeing as his hand would transform into a blade whenever the boy wished to attack, it could be said that his sword swings while transformed were just a glorified karate chop. Even when not transformed, the concept was the same. Well, it was all he could think of at the moment. Kenshin waited for Chise to get close, or if she chose not to approach, then he would dash to her until the two were close enough. This time, instead of backing away, he would go on the offensive. Pretending that his right hand was a sword hand, Kenshin began to swing his hand towards her in a horizontal chopping motion, aiming for her belly. Regardless of whether that move worked or not, Kenshin would then continue to use his hands in such a manner, attacking with chops and jabs as though his hands were very short swords. Despite this method of attacking being very unusual and strange, it was really all Kenshin had to work with that wasn't the overly obvious and predictable punches and kicks. When in doubt, go with what's familiar, right? | Word count: 473
Notes: Kenshin used Karate Chop!

The sparring match started and G watched Chise and Kenshin go at it. He smiled when he finally saw all his students do battle. Since the sparring sessions were gonna end today, G needed to decide the next lesson. But what could he choose? He could teach them a new martial art move, or maybe they can all just work out at the gym and hang out, or maybe they go through faux internship to see whats it like being a hero, or maybe he pins them into a hero and villain scenario.
Yes, that could be good. He had Reaper, Scythe, Mowdown, Jaws and others at his beck and call, he could make them play the villains "We can have a hostage situation or maybe like stop the bomb situation. Oh the possibilities were endless" G thought to himself. He had plenty of ideas in mind. But the best way to decide what to do was to hold another vote and let the students choose. But that was for another time. Now, G has to watch and observe the sparring match and call it off when it ends. Or if someone tries something sneaky, but he doubted that would happen. Kenshin and Chise were just amazing
G is taking a step back, so you 2 can go at it and ping me when your spar ends. Enjoy! Have fun you two! And get that experience!

As Chise dashed toward the boy, she watched as he backed away, seeming a bit unsure as how to approach this. That was all good by Chise, as it seemed she would be the more offensive of the two in this hand to hand battle. "Haah!" Chise threw hand punches and kicks at Kenshin, seeing him able to dodge a few but not all of them. The redhead had been training to get her strength up alongside G teaching her more martial arts techniques. Gotta have the strength to back up the moves now else you look pathetic in front of your opponent. As she continued her merciless torment, it seemed Kenshin decide to fight back after all, using his arm in a blade like motion to go for her gut.
Sensing his attack, Chise let Kenshin hit her in the gut but gripped his arm as not to loose balance from his hit. She turned her body into Kenshin and used her free hand to grab under his arm, lifting the boy up with a cry. "Ahhh!" She used her upper body strength to lift Kenshin up off the ground and slam him down onto his back, hopefully giving her a minute to recoup from the attempted karate-chop sword-like moves he was trying to throw at her. "Even if...you're at a disadvantage when you fight...you need to be able to handle any move...the enemy throws out," Chise said in between breaths, wiping a bit of sweat from her forehead as she tightened her ponytail. Chise gripped his arm behind his back and placed her knee on his back, preventing him from hopefully getting up for now. "Don't think this is over just yet, show me what you've got, Kenshin-kun~" she said with a small smirk, looking down at the boy on the ground below her.

From the get go, it was pretty clear that evading was not going to cut it, seeing as Chise had landed some hits despite Kenshin's best efforts to back away and dodge. Besides, evasion just wasn't Kenshin's style. Even without a sword, the boy just preferred getting up close and personal when he fought. Unfortunately, it seemed as though that was not cutting it either. Once his attack landed, Chise wasted no time in using his arm against him. Gripping it, she then lifted him with strength the boy did not expect her to have, and then slammed him to the floor on his back. Kenshin gritted his teeth in pain and groaned a bit. Well this was bad. Evasion wasn't working, and attacking head on wasn't working either. So what would? As the boy breathed heavily from exhaustion while cursing his lack of stamina and making a mental note to work on it sometime soon, he heard Chise's words. "...Right. Excellent point there." He was training to become a warrior of justice, one that could protect the people. If he was serious about being strong enough to take on villainy, then he could not allow himself to be stopped so easily. So when Chise went to try to restrain Kenshin, of course he was not about to just lie there and let her do so effortlessly. Thrashing as much as he could to make her job more difficult, Kenshin smirked as she told him that the fight wasn't over yet. "You're damn right! It'll take more than that to keep me down! Bring it on, Chise-san!" Kenshin moved his leg in a sweeping fashion towards Chise's leg. Seeing her strength up close, the boy doubted that merely struggling would get him to successfully escape her hold on him. He would probably just tire himself out doing so, making her job easier in the long run. Instead, his goal was to either try to trip Chise to make her let him go, or to get her to back off to avoid tripping. Either way, his goal was to try to escape her grasp. If his move succeeded, then he would back up a bit before attacking her with a mix of punches, kicks, and karate chops. If not, he would try again to free himself. Regardless, it was clear that the boy had no intention on giving up or letting himself get subdued without a fight. | Word count: 406

Seems the fire in Kenshin was far from going out. As Chise tried to restrain the boy, she felt a bit bad doing this to a boy only three years younger than her, practically a child at this point, but if he wanted to be a hero, he was going to learn how to defend himself. In her slight distraction, Kenshin managed to knock Chise back and off of him, giving him the change to get back up and continue fighting. Sitting down was not something one would do in a fight, Chise arose from the ground and readied herself for the barrage of attacks Kenshin was about to unleash on her. Punches, kicks, and chops were all swung her way, Chise doing her best to block and dodge the boy's attacks and find an opening for when she herself could strike back. "Do you think weak punches like that could take down any villain? You better shape up Kenshin-kun~" she said with a smirk, seeing the boy growing a hint more tired with each move he uttered. His punches seemed to be lacking power behind them, Chise able to block them away with a strike of her own hands in response.
"What's the matter Kenshin-kun? Tired already? If you're not going to attack then I will!" Chise said, using this to make her own move, seeing as Kenshin was about ready to throw another punch her way. Seeing he was trying to throw a punch to the right, Chise defended against it, sending his fist down instead of towards her face. If all went according to plan, Chise had an opening to strike. She took her arm and slammed it down against the back of Kenshin's neck, similar to his karate chops he was swinging at her before, hoping to send Kenshin back down to the ground for a second time. If her plan didn't work, she would hop back and distance herself from Kenshin so that she could see how and if he would come and strike at her again. She had to tire him out, she had to prove to G that his training wasn't for nothing and that she would become great!

Kenshin may have managed to free himself, but that did not mean that he was out of the woods just yet. As he unleashed his barrage of attacks at the girl, one thing was becoming very clear very quickly. Chise was good, way too good. His attacks weren't getting through (or if a few of them actually did, they were not doing much of anything to her), and while Kenshin was getting tired, Chise looked as though she could keep on going. Kenshin was aware of his limits. He knew that he could not last much longer. His spirit was strong, but his body was severely lacking in comparison. It was like a weak and blunt sword that needed to be forged, sharpened, and honed. He needed more experience, more training, more growth. Still, Kenshin would not be let down by this. On the contrary, the boy was happy. The longer the spar went on, the wider his smile became. This was a lot of fun! He always loved fighting, especially against a tough opponent. It was very clear that G had trained Chise exceptionally well. It made the boy that much more excited to train under G. If Chise was this strong, then who knows how much stronger the boy would become! The sky was the limit! "Tired? Maybe." Kenshin replied to Chise, his breathing getting heavier from how tired he was getting. There was no use in hiding it anymore. Even if he tried to, Chise could easily see it. "Still... I'm far from done! I'm G's student, after all! Would you give up so easily? Now come at me!"Despite the boy's words, it was clear that as much as he loathed the idea of just giving up, he could not fight effectively for much longer. With his punch being parried, Kenshin tried his best to avoid Chise's next attack. But he was too slow, and got slammed with a chop on the back of his neck. Shit, the boy thought as he was once again sent down to the ground. Naturally, the boy would refuse to just stay down. Whether it was his samurai spirit burning brightly or just his sheer stubbornness, Kenshin was already trying to get back up. If he was able to, Kenshin would once again stand up and go on the offensive, despite his body basically being at its limit by now. However, that was only if Chise let him get up. If she restrained him now, or if she knocked him down again after he got up, Kenshin would not be able to stand up again. Either way, the spar was soon about to reach its conclusion. | Word count: 446

Chise could definitely tell Kenshin was growing more tired by the second. His movements seemed to prove all, the sluggish way he threw his arms, the staggered movement in his legs as he approached her. It seemed like it was better to end it all then to let this continue. Chise simply walked backward, avoiding Kenshin's attacks quite easily, dodging effortlessly left and right depending on where the attack came from. When she felt she was close to the wall, she pushed herself off the wall and propelled herself into Kenshin, landing Chise right on top of the boy. It may have been a weird an unusual position, but at least Chise could easily restrain the boy. She grabbed his wrist and pinned them next to his head, staring down at him as she lightly panted.
It didn't seem like the boy would have the strength to get back up after knocking the wind out of him, but Chise would be very surprised if he did manage to get up. She had to prevent this from happening, and what better way to than to throw in a sneak attack. Chise smirked and leaned in close, pecking the boys lips and activating her quirk, "What do you say you give up and submit to me, Kenshin-kun. Just accept defeat, you know you can't win against me," Chise spoke in the younger boy's voice, hoping to completely throw Kenshin off-guard and have him call it quits, that way Chise could easily be called the victor of this match.
