Yeah, there was no way Kenshin could keep this fight going for any longer. His body was just far too tired, Chise was far too good, and his exhaustion was making him far too slow and predictable. It took very little effort on Chise's part to take the boy down and to keep him down. At this point, G would easily be able to see that the fight was as good as over. Of course Kenshin's spirit would not allow him to just accept defeat quietly. He would of course struggle a bit, even if that would prove to be futile. Alright, you may be tough, Chise. Way tough. Still, that doesn't mean I'll just give up so easi- But then Chise interrupted Kenshin's thoughts with her quickest and deadliest attack of all. A kiss on the lips. It was brief, but oh so very effective. Kenshin had absolutely no defense for this. He had been kissed by his spider-headed friend Kumoko in the past. Twice, in fact. But those were on the cheek. This was the very first time the boy had been kissed on the lips. So naturally, the boy's face immediately became a deep shade of crimson, far redder than his armor. All logical thought had been wiped from his mind as it was overwhelmingly stunning. No coherent thought could be formed, no cohesive words. Only mindless mumbling and stuttering. But then Chise's next words smacked the boy right back into reality. She spoke... in his voice? What the hell?! This was so bizarre! Was this the work of her quirk? Would he now speak in her voice? "I... I... uh..." Nope, still his own voice. Kenshin then smiled as he tried to regain his composure. "Well that was a bit sneaky, wouldn't you say so? Though I will admit that you're powerful, far more than I expected. Okay, I guess I have to admit it. You bested me this battle, Chise-san. I concede this match to you. We should definitely fight again sometime. Perhaps I'll beat you someday, but definitely not today. I humbly thank you for this great spar, Chise-san. ...And for my first kiss, too..." Having quietly muttered that last sentence, Kenshin looked away from Chise to avoid her gaze, still blushing heavily and feeling pretty embarrassed. He decided that one day, he should try to find a way to counter such a powerful and devastating technique so that female villains could not employ such a tactic against the boy in an effective way in the future. He had his mouth cover while he was transformed, but he needed a solution for when he could not use his quirk, like in this battle. Of course, Kenshin would be far too embarrassed to tell this to Chise. Not to mention that he didn't want to talk about the kiss, or admit how much he liked it. If Chise offered to help him up, Kenshin would gladly accept. Otherwise, he would get up on his own. Either way, he turned to face G to hear the results and any possible evaluation of the fight. The boy was curious to know what G's thoughts were. | Word count: 528 Notes: Kenshin.exe has stopped responding |
