Autumn was a season that she had always found unusual. For some reason, the sight of the summer season turning over, the weather growing colder and the leaves changing their color felt so sober and sorrowful for the burgundy-haired lass. Perhaps it was then, in a bitter twist a suitable period for this event to take place.
Even now it felt almost surreal, as if she was having a horrible nightmare, although she had already come to accept the fact that this wasn't a dream, it was the harsh reality, and as much as she desired to escape from it, Elise knew that she couldn't outrun those painful facts, and she had become forced to accept that her father had died. Wearing a simple black dress, the type commonly seen at funerals and moments of mourning Elise couldn't help but feel somewhat disconnected from the reality. As someone who prefers cheerfulness and joy, bright colors over the darker ones the dress represented her emotional state quite aptly. However, there was one particular thing that might stand out from her attire, and that was the fact a pure silver pendant rested around her neck. There was a very particular reason for that, a reason she had also asked for the Principal's assistance in this matter.
"Touma..." she whispered softly to the man in the driver's seat, abandoning the usual notion of using proper honorifics, it was something that had become a habit of her whenever she was talking about something serious with him, or when she was incredibly happy. It was meant to show that for that moment she abandoned the thought that they were student and teacher, but that he was her guardian, the man left in charge of watching over her.
"I hope that people will show up... I'm sorry to have burdened you with this selfish request of mine, but I really appreciate it." She smiled weakly at him, a hand raised toward the pendant around her neck as she continued to speak. "My father always was the type to worry about others, especially me. He hated seeing me sad or troubled, so even now I can't help but think that he might be restless. Although, I can't help but wonder why they decided to hold the ceremony here... at Tetsu's hometown."
Indeed, they were currently driving to the outskirts of Kashima, a few hours from the likes of Tokyo and Musutafu by train, and the burgundy-haired lass still couldn't exactly grasp the meaning of it, aside from the fact it seemed to be something her father had asked for. It also was quite unusual for Tetsuko to not be there at her side, but for once the iron-blooded girl had been recalled to her family, who would no doubt be attending as friends of the Eisenberg household.
"I just hope that this gesture will make him be at peace." Indeed, it was for that reason she had asked Touma to spread the news of today's ceremony to the faculty and the students, to invite anyone who was willing or cared to attend. In the end, all Elise wanted was to let her father know that she wasn't alone anymore, that she was meeting people, that she had a trustworthy guardian, a loyal and kind lover, and trustworthy friends, even after the regrettable mistakes she made.
The ceremony grounds itself was quite simple to be honest, a large open field at the outskirts of Kashima where several rows of chairs were placed, there were people already gathered, colleagues and friends of Elise's parents who were talking among themselves while at the front of the chairs was a small stage constructed which housed a large picture of the man with at the base a small urn filled with his ashes.
Indeed, Elise had not even been permitted to see the corpse of her father or the cremation, mostly because it was deemed to traumatizing for the girl to see the horrible state her father's corpse had been left at after Thunder Shock's goons had dealt with him.
Seeing the parking lot at the field Elise raised a hand lightly toward the area and pointed briefly toward it, whispering softly.
"We're here..."
Today would be a day of mourning, but she hoped that with what she had planned, it would also be a day that would lead into a future of hope, to ensure her father would rest in peace, but for that she would need the help of others, and she could only hope that they would be willing to reach with a hand.
Stepping out of the car the burgundy-haired lass took a deep breath, feeling her hands shaking slightly as she looked at the man at her side and whispered softly. "Somehow this scares me more than holding a gun did at first..." It was odd, but for Elise the act of approaching this field really meant she had to confront the fact her father was gone, that he had indeed died, and the acceptance of that really was a painful burden for her to carry.
"Touma, umm.." She hesitatingly raised her hand lightly toward the man, attempting to squeeze his own hand lightly as she tried to muster a brief smile and continued. "Thank you for watching out for me. I... I don't think I would have felt the same if I didn't have people like you or Tetsu and the others to rely on, nor do I think I would have had the strength or resolve to take this step forwards."
She finally released his hand and took a few steps forward, before turning around to grin sheepishly at him. "It almost feels like I now have an older brother I never had before." The girl took a deep breath, looking at the field up ahead as she watched that wave of sorrow wash over her. "Shall we go and reassure my papa?"
The fact she called her father 'papa' instead of father or dad made it clear just how shaken she was deep inside, trying to deal with the sorrow and regrets from that day.

Hey everyone, this topic will be open to anyone, albeit is in particular aimed at U.A people (faculty and students), the idea is that Elise asked the Principal to inform everyone of this ceremony because of something Elise wants to convey to her father, this will be a short topic (because it will be part of a small chain for Elise and a few others, if you want to be involved in that chain of stuff, feel free to poke me, but those things will happen after the event finale if we all make out of it alive~) but icly takes place about two or three days before the Event Finale, so near the end of the demonstration camp.
Transport is arranged either in the form of a bus from the campus, or people can go there by themselves by train/etc, they are at the outskirts of Kashima.
No particular posting order or anything, basically everyone has about a week the time to post to attend the ceremony, then I will be posting the actual ceremony moment and finally, we can all exit, so don't expect this to take long~
