Kanna had met a lot of fellow students since this Army thingy had started, and learned a fair bit about most of those she already knew. Many had picked up a wide array of brand new skills, while others simply unveiled details about themselves the blonde simply had no notion of, no matter how good she was at scouring for information. Between those three days training from hell to all the games and challenges she'd faced in the meantime, she'd come to know some of these people a bit better, for the most part realizing she actually had a fair number of people whose company she didn't dislike... Some more than others, sure... Ironic... They'd come here to hopefully learn more about the army, perhaps end up tempted into pursuing a career in the military, but now, after two weeks she liked the army even less than she originally did - something she'd never even believed possible - and grown closer to the other Quirkers she looked to as classmates... Well, few of those she spent time with were actually her classmates, a seemingly petty little detail she nonetheless couldn't get out of her head: She hadn't seen Niso or Rowan at all, nor Rin beyond that meeting at the paintball court... "She seemed to be doing better at least...", pondered the blonde, quickly followed by a brief thought as to why she cared. Well, she perfectly understood the reason, and yet she wasn't one to spare much thought for people she wasn't even close to. Not as if they had another chance to talk since that time at the library, assuming you could even call that talking. Kanna wanted to talk to her, yeah, but she scarcely understood why at the time, let alone what about. She did now though, as she looked back and understood her frustration at being unable to do more than an outlet for the anger she'd likely bottled up inside. That wasn't enough though, not by a long shot, and now she understood that, after seeing just who she'd stood against when Risaka took the brunt of the Colonel's abuse. Sighing, the blonde instead took to looking around: After a heavy workout at the combat area, Kanna merely walked around the military base under the hot, sunny summer sky, late in the afternoon. With her blue Yuuei training uniform completely drenched, she totally needed a bath, yet she had to walk all the way to the other side of the base before reaching something remotely resembling a locker room. What special kind of idiot even designed this place...? After all this time, she no longer cared enough to feel annoyed, merely wiping the sweat off her face with the towel around her neck whenever it built up too much for comfort. She'd reach the locker rooms soon enough, that is, unless she ran into someone who prompted her to engage in conversation... Yet by this time of the day many of the fellow students had already left, and most of the military people were returning to their good old business as usual. Not that she had anything interesting to argue about with most of those army people anyway...

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Ever since the whole thing with combat training began, as instructed by the principal and carried out by the martial arts club - with Darren Daimon at the lead - Rin had been giving quite a bit extra of herself, to keep improving. It was something in the back of her mind, perhaps. Not so much for the girl's own sake, but since there was so much effort put into making her grow and get better, she felt she would've let everyone down if she didn't at least show some amount of promise, dedication and improvement over a couple of weeks. Sparring matches with the soldiers had been fairly common. Rin getting tossed around by them like a ragdoll, much to their amusement, equally as common. They seemed to have a borderline sadistic outlook on training with the students. Of course, there were students which they couldn't simply overpower in hand to hand combat - Jasmine Noir, Darren, several others came to mind as solid examples of this - but when they encountered someone like Rin, who was practically helpless in a physical altercation, the sadism took new heights. Where, in other matchups, the soldiers often left limping and needing a doctor's visit, when it was against Rin, the only one who ended up on the floor getting hurt, was the raven haired female. Over and over and over again, repeatedly smacked on her ass. So one might wonder, why did the girl keep going back for more of this treatment..? Well, it wasn't quite that easy. When it came to practicing with Jasmine - or many other of the students at Yuuei in all honesty, they kept holding back. It meant that Rin hardly learned anything. That what she was faced with, wasn't reality. In some screwed up way, within her mind, she actually appreciated the soldiers willingness to hurt her.
...This day, had been one of those days. Having seated herself on a bench in the combat area, right outside the locker rooms, the girl was groaning to herself in pain. It took quite a bit of observational skills to notice exactly how beat up the girl was. Blue marks were practically removed by utilizing her quirk. A broken lip was practically stitched back together, the swelling non-existant. The girl's trekking clothes, however, was dirty. There were tears in the fabric, there were signs of abuse in brown dirt stains. Breathing deeply, Rin was fiddling with her hair, fiddling with the parts of her body that hurt the most, fiddling with anything to take her mind off of how shitty she felt. Looking at the door to the locker rooms, she needed to get showered and get into a clean set of clothes. Then go by the medical area of the camp, to get the worst of this pain sorted. Dizzy, she would have showered. She would have had been on her way to the medical tent. Instead, the dizzyness had shut her down, demanding at least a handful of minutes of doing nothing, before moving on. Thus, she leaned back against the wooden bench, getting herself comfortable. Rin would be sitting there for a while. Pulling out the remainder of her homemade lunch - a chicken curry sandwich - from the backpack over her shoulders, Rin was having a few bites. Sating the hunger, eating slow, enjoying the taste, they all helped her relax from the stressful training. From the corner of the sandwich, she plucked a few pieces of bread, throwing it onto the ground in front of her, feeding the birds - crows - that were in the area from all the peopel dropping delicious snacks on a regular basis.
Having someone to talk to, beyond the feathered creatures, wouldn't be completely bad...

Yeah she got closer to a couple fellow students than she cared to admit. First Risaka, and then Yumi... She hadn't nearly reached a point where she'd openly acknowledge them as friends even if she could otherwise show it. After all Kanna would tell herself she no longer opened up to people enough to make friends, put up walls against even letting them get close to her. But she did act differently towards them, without sparing too much thought as to what they might want from her.
Risaka in particular had made Kanna intervene and challenge the Colonel's disgusting bigotry, and she wound up punished for it in the process, out through an even more grueling exercise than her peers that ended only with her falling off a wall, dislocating her shoulder and ending up in the infirmary for the next half day. Even now her shoulder yet stung after long, intense workouts such as these; the adrenaline made it harder to notice in the heat of battle, but now that her body cooled off, moving it too suddenly yet made her wince. Hopefully it'd go away in a couple of days... Sighing as she neared the locker room, her hand halted only a few inches from the doorknob, head turning aside and catching her classmate and President, Rin, calmly eating a sandwich while feeding the birds flying by.
It felt way too odd for a prim and proper girl like her to wear a mangled uniform if she could help it after: "Damn, Class Prez... You look like shit.", said the pot to the kettle, hand on her hip, mere looking her over a few moments. Scratching her head with an inquisitively raised eyebrow, she noted the odd absense of any visible bruises despite a torn and tattered uniform, not unlike Kanna's own. She had those medical skills and that Quirk, so perhaps she could patch herself up faster than most people? Unless the girl completely showed that desire to be left alone, Kanna would eventually walk over and sit next to her, she took taking a chance to catch her breath. Leaning over, her elbows came to rest on her knees, while those tired jade eyes looked up into Rin's, "I see those pricks put you through the wringer too... What the hell kind of training did they throw at you?" Her earlier awkwardness seemed mostly gone now, and Kanna talked to Rin just like to everyone else: rough, blunt and to the point, without the slightest measure of sugarcoating anything. Well, that's not exactly right... After all, Kanna really didn't talk to most people after all, let alone initate conversation herself. Merely sitting here, catching up to the one girl who took too much weight on her shoulders; she noticed how she looked much better than that day at the library, despite the rough day she obviously had: "Tch... Where do these guys even get off acting all high and mighty..? When they're just a bunch of sadistic fucks.", she vented, glaring at a passing soldier, finally sighing and leaning back on the bench, reaching around behind her shaggy blonde hair, adjusting her loosened ponytail. That look in her eyes made it very clear though, whatever Rin had gone through now, she endured it mostly out of her own decision, her own resolve whatever it may be. In that sense, she and Kanna both were no different than many other Yuuei students at this military base, even if all of them dealt with it differently. Some better than others no doubt, and yet the hacker - whose Quirk was limited if not useless in combat - had visibly taken all this training just like your average human. Visible bruises marred whatever exposed skin she showed, and she had no means of dealing with those other than toughing it out and visiting the infirmary if she couldn't.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy There was a bit of a pocket here, at the bench, with the birds eating the breadcrumbs Rin continuously broke off. A pocket where the world outside was not really interacting with her. The chirping, the silence, people simply passing by after their own respective long days of work. It was refreshing and reinvigorating the raven haired female. For a few moments, this peace, tranquility, Still, company wouldn't be completely bad, she figured. It was more or less at that point, that the little pocket of Rin's world was interrupted by the approach of a blonde. Not the blonde Rin was typically seen hanging around with. In fact, Rin wondered if anyone was typically seen hanging out with Kanna. As far as the 1-A class president knew, the whole lone wolf aspect hadn't really changed since the last time to the two of them spoke. Turning her head to look at Kanna, the greeting was... a rather strange one. Rin could appreciate the honesty, which it very clearly was. At least the tone and approach was different to when Darren, the almight autist, approach with a notion of you look like shit. Clearing her throat and swallowing her final bite of the sandwich, Rin simply nodded. "I suppose. It's been a rather long day, with practice next door that took quite a bit out of me." There was no indication from Rin that Kanna's presence was unwanted, so when the blonde began stepping over towards the bench, Rin quietly scooted to the side, granting the other girl a bit more room."They definitely did. Though, it is quite fortunate having someone to spar with, that do not mind hurting you. It makes the whole situation a bit more real, even if they are being assholes." Rin replied in a soft tone. Perhaps with those words, it became clear to Kanna exactly why Rin was putting herself through this. Rin was small, tiny, lacked experience. Everyone typically held back on her. Even if it came to simple sentences like letting her know how shit she looked. "...Also I may look like shit, but you look like someone dumpstered you. Need someone to look at those bruises?" When Rin had first come to Yuuei, insulting someone like she just did, even if it was purely a jesting notion, had been impossible for the raven haired youth. It had taken her months to understand the little social interplay behind insulting someone you didn't really want to insult. It was strange, and she wasn't quite sure how to explain it, but somewhere she knew that Kanna meant no harm with what she said, and likewise that Kanna wouldn't take offense to having a comment thrown back."I think it's fairly apparent that they're desperate, Kanna-san. Their high and mighty attitude coming in, because if they cannot compete with us, and the military can only consist of quirk users in the future, they'd be without a job. In some ways, their desperation makes sense, don't you think?" Rin commented. The 1-A class president was fairly well known for having a cool head and a sound reasoning, at least when it came to anything but her own situation. It was one of the things that had made people vote for her initially. That, and out of the other potential candidates, she was definitely one of the ones with the least ego to pull down over the others heads, after she received the title. The butt end of the sandwich was thrown out to the birds, who eagerly began picking away at it. There was almost a tiny flock of birds gathered at this point, looking up at Kanna and Rin, hoping to have a little extra bite.

Truly, for the most part, Kanna would much rather keep to herself, not really reaching out to people unless she had any other choice. She felt that way with Rin the first time they spoke, and even though she somewhat understood her desire to protect people from abusers... As she'd done it for Risaka... To the girl now sitting beside her, she could do little more than simply talk to her. Thankfully, all that drama for the past weeks had died down, allowing the Class President to deal with the aftermath on her own pace. It helped, clearly, more than what any one person could do by herself. Casually looking into the girl's eyes, she noticed how despite her physical condition, she seemed to be doing alright... Almost as this had become somewhat usual for her, as it clearly was for Kanna: "Yeah, you and me both...", she nodded, slumping down on the bench and relaxing, turning her head towards the dark haired girl. Indeed that understanding, sympathetic look in on the blonde's face spoke as much, as she likely shared much of the Class President's motivation. At the same time, she couldn't really hide the that scorn towards the military, "Oh, I completely agree with that, I can't deny I've been getting in better shape in the past... But they ain't doin it to make you stronger. They just trying to break us in any way they can. Sure, they're failing miserably, but that shows what kinda people they are." Clearly, she didn't take the slighest bit of offense to Rin's retort, rubbing behind her head guiltily in a very clear show of acknowledgement. She did silently note how up until now, she'd never pegged her for the type to toss around casual insults as nonchalantly as others like Kanna herself. Nonetheless, she took in stride, flashing a cocky smirk: "You shoulda seen the other guy~", snickering at the thought of her opponents as she uttered those tried and tested, almost comical words. That lighthearted mood didn't last long though, as her classmate's offer made her tense slightly, frowning with visible hesitation in her eyes. She recalled the first conversation they had - and her desire not to burden this girl with her own needs - and she wasn't the type to ask for help patching up injuries that would heal by themselves soon enough... But at the same time... Part of her did wonder if simply accepting the girl's helping hand every so often couldn't prove beneficial. Not after witnessing that low self esteem. Thus, she curled her lip, clenched her fist, fighting off her pride as she finally relented with a nod: "I wasn't gonna ask you for that, if that's what you're wondering... But alright.", said the independent girl with an assertive, serious look in her eyes, sighing as she offered her bruised hand to Rin, "I'll buy you a coffee afterwards, once we shower and get changed." Little deals such as these satisfied the hacker's pride, but in this case also gave her a bit more time just talking to the one girl in school just everyone either loved or hated. As for her own state, she had her fair share of bruises over her whole body, but her arms and legs had clearly taken the biggest beating with all the blows she'd guarded against, not to mention her bloodied fists. For Rin to actually look at them she'd have to take off her sportswear, and she wasn't about to do that out here: "Yeah, and that's why they'd rather pick a fight with high school students instead of the actual pro hero community. With such brave armed forces, surely the country got nothing to worry about.", she commented, objectively, yet not without that venomous, hateful hint of scarcasm, casually watching the hungry birds feeding on the breadcrumbs, "It's a glorified publicity stunt, their way of flexing on Quirkers, showing off how important they still are. What a load of bullshit..." She shook her head disapprovingly but If Rin agreed with her little exchange, she'd stand up from her seat and nod towards the locker room, leading the way in and promptly pulling the stretchy leotard down to her waist - baring most of her tattooed torso and leaving only a plain black sports bra for a measure of modesty. Her back looked mostly unharmed, but once she turned around to face Rin and sat down, the medic would notice she had quite a couple bruises around her torso, though none as obvious as those in her arms and legs: "As you can see, ain't nothing too serious.", she commented, idly brushing her hair away from her face as she looked back at her classmate. She hid it well, though a lingering hint of displeasure in her eyes made it clear she didn't feel too comfortable asking for help, however one might interpret that.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Rin found it very difficult to argue with Kanna. Mostly because Rin was attempting to find positive sides in an opponent, which, quite honestly, had very few redeeming qualities. They were cruel, they were despicable in their behavior, they very crude, rude, abrasive. The list continued, practically checking all the negative words that Rin could attest to them. Even if there were positives to be had from encountering such individuals, those positives didn't stem from their personalities. It stemmed solely from what Rin could put forth to said negative personalities, knowing that they'd be reacting a certain way, that long term would have certain benefits to the raven haired female. "I mean, I wanted to find something positive to say. I wanted to find some redeeming qualities to mention. In honesty I am coming up rather short - not referring to my height." Rin had a soft smile on her lips, quite enjoying being able to completely disengage from the things that had been going on practice wise. Disengage, crack a few jokes, recover some energy, before the rest of the day would continue. Perhaps for the first time that Kanna would witness, Rin had something directly negative to say. "They kind of are a bunch of dicks." It was something that happened rarely. Yet, as it turned out, the 1-A class president had a limit to her patience. A limit to how much crap she was willing to take, without biting back a little. That is, even if the biting back was mostly just quietly ranting to someone she might consider a friend. Listening to Kanna, for a short moment, Rin could've sworn that she was speaking to Jasmine Noir. The other guy was more beat up than me. I am tough enough to deal with my problems myself. Any kind of assistance that I receive must be repaid, for I do not take charity. It was all sentences, traits, mannerisms or attitudes that had been portrayed in one way or another. With how the conversation immediately afterwards continued, with Kanna offering to buy Rin a coffee, she practically seemed like a personality carbon copy. Inwardly, Rin facepalmed. Taking care of two stubborn blondes with enough of an attitude to topple a mountain was the last thing she needed. Scratching her cheek, if this had been at the beginning of the schoolyear, Rin would've managed this conversation horribly, likely making Kanna suspect the girl of something heinous. Stuttering about how she couldn't possibly let Kanna waste her money for Rin's sake. Instead, nowadays, Rin was a fair bit better at handling this type. Mainly because her roommate was said type."If you insist, though I'd much prefer a cup of tea, enjoyed alongside a good conversation. Coffee was never my thing. The taste is strange, and because of my quirk, caffeine has little to no effect." An elegant answer, if Rin was to say so herself. Both declaring what she'd prefer, in a respectful manner, while allowing Kanna to contribute with something, preventing the whole suspicious act. Rin had figured that it probably amounted to Kanna feeling like, if she didn't pay something back, she'd owe a favor. Owing a favor, for someone with a sense of pride and honor, seemed to be a horrifying prospect. Perhaps because they felt obligated to assist with the favor later requested...? Rin had never quite understood, as she had never been a person to hold others to the whole favor bullshit. If Rin needed assistance, she'd ask if anyone could help. If others needed help with something Rin could provide, she would generally help. It didn't have to be so damn complicated."In all fairness, the pro hero community was invited as well. I know Cian Glaive-sensei was conducting rescue operations, utilizing the military's equipment and locale. Though I suppose it is true, they're much more eager to get their combat training done w ith students like us, than with the pro heroes, like Darkshine." From there, Rin quietly placed her hands onto her knees, gently pushing herself up onto her feet. Groaning softly from exhaustion and pain, she stretched a couple of times. Bones and joints creating, Kanna could likely tell that Rin was in as bad, if not worse, of a condition as herself. "...anyyywho I think we ought to head to the showers and get cleaned up.. then I can take a look at our injuries, before we head out for something to drink. That is, if that sounds good to you, Kanna-chan?" Rin, standing there, stepped a bit in place, trying to stretch and warm her calves. Should Kanna be in agreement, she would begin heading directly for the locker rooms and showers. A good warm shower sounded amazing right about now...

"You're no shorter than their sight, I'm sure...", chuckled the blonde, who struggled to see any benefit from antagonizing the bulk of the population with a Quirk for no reason other than one's prejudice. Yet that didn't stop her smirking at her classmate's little quip on her own height, "...But yeah, that about sums it up. I don't expect them to do it as long as they want without any consequences thought, and I doubt they'll anything worthwhile from this little trade" One might wonder why hadn't Kanna actually spent some time with 1-A's exploding girl yet, hell, even Kanna herself felt baffled at the notion, as she defenitely enjoyed Jasmine's art enough to consider having it inked on her skin. She had plenty of canvas left, and really wouldn't mind a tattoo artist she could simply approach inside her classroom. "Not really my cup of tea... Once you get used to that bitterness, no tea can hold up to a nice mug of coffee.", she shrugged, but obviously didn't mind getting Rin whatever she chose... Nor did she mind a casual discussion of tea versus coffee, looking into those blue eyes and nodding, "...But yeah, it's whatever you prefer." As she accepted the deal, Kanna visibly relaxed, indeed she valued her independence to the point she had to do everything herself. And if there was something she just couldn't do herself and needed assistance, that would have to be paid for. If she had people doing things for her, she'd no longer be independent. Rin felt like the complete opposite too... Doing everything for others and expecting nothing in return only meant others took her for granted, and most likely never gave the slightest fuck as to her own needs. As much as protecting her own pride, Kanna really wasn't the type to exploit someone's giving nature like that... She'd been protecting that pride for her own sake all this time, here, at this military base when she subjected herself to this training. They may not have broken her spirit, but they had obviously broken her body time and time again, and the thought of that made her click her tongue, clenching her fists at her own weakness as much as their cowardice. She couldn't help but admire those powerful pros who stood their ground without budging an inch, and voiced her respect: "Oh, the last time they actually went up against one of the pros, they got absolutely destroyed... I ain't surprised they'd rather not do that.", snickered the hacker, thinking back to that glorious sight of a famous hero going up against four military men and beating them all up in a matter of moments. When Rin actually stood up to hit the showers, Kanna's eyebrow rose at a crackling sound not unlike her own she stretched, but refrained from pointing it out. She'd see it soon enough once they got in the showers, and nodded, "Yeah, unless we're planning on hanging around the base all day. We'll take care of ourselves and then figure out where to go grab that coffee... Or, tea in your case I guess." Ruffling her hair, then wincing as she rolled her injuring shoulder, she headed inside the locker rooms and unceremoniously stripped out of every article of clothing, tossing the crumpled mess atop a nearby bench. After what she heard back there, she couldn't really help shooting a cursory glance at the dainty class president, wondering if she might indeed be more injured than she appeared. But in the end she saw nothing suggesting it, and shook her head, not about to stare at another girl in the locker rooms. "I'm surprised you got away with so few injuries...", noted the suspecting blonde, raising an eyebrow once more, but ultimately grabbing a towel, heading for the shower, and opening the tap The cool water felt heavenly raining down upon her toned, overworked body, trickling down her bruised, inked skin, cleansing away the sweat and grime from the heavy workout preceding it... By far the greatest relief to the pain and soreness she had so far, letting out a content sigh while took her sweet time just standing under the pouring water. Feeling it cascading down her shapely form, eventually grabbing a bar of soap and rubbing it over her body, wincing occasionally she passed over one of those injured spots. She was used to pain and could deal with it better than most people, but that one injury to her ribcage hurt more than she'd admit...
At the same time, she couldn't help but wonder just how much damage had Rin taken in her own training session, at least, before healing it up at least. Since the military's paying for that water, Kanna didn't really mind just lingering there far longer than she otherwise might have, closing the tap only by the time she saw the class president about done with her own: "Now then, I can't stay here all day...", she'd muse aloud, fighting that urge to simply bask in that pleasant sensation a while longer As she finally stepped out of the shower, the blonde grabbed a towel and wiped off most of the water until only small trickles dripped down her hair, finally grabbing grabbing the hair tie from around her wrist and pulling it back up into a ponytail as she looked around for her petite classmate...

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy There wasn't much left for the raven haired class president to comment on, in regards to their conversation. They were practically in agreement with how the military were being unproffessional and unpleasant. They were in disagreement as to their favorite warm beverage to order at a café, yet Rin was completely fine with Kanna having a different preference. When it came to her roommate, Jasmine, Rin had often brewed coffee in the morning for her. Given how active Jasmine could be, it was incredible how lazy the lionness would be in the morning if she could get away with it. It was honestly one of the most endearing things about her. How, the remainder of the entire world almost exclusively saw a stoic and immovable warrior, unstoppable force, yet what Rin was faced with was so incredibly normal, human, borderline cute even. There were so many things Rin wished the world could see within Jasmine. So much that the rest of Yuuei ought to understand. It'd save them a lot of grief. It'd also give Jasmine a better image, even if Rin knew that the blonde absolutely couldn't care less about such things. Shaking her head from side to side, Kanna truly reminded Rin of the lionness. Enough so, that Rin probably ought to introduce the two at some point. Neither were social butterflies, neither enjoyed social interactions, both were sceptical and cynnical regarding most things... Rin was fairly sure that if she started the right conversation, with both blondes eagerly telling the other how much they hated a specific thing, their friendship would blossom in a matter of minutes. For now, though, Rin was simply headed towards the showers; Washing away the filth of today. Where Kanna seemed to be extremely down to business, getting undressed quickly, getting under the shower, practically meticulous, Rin was very much the opposite. Each article of cloth that Rin took off was folded and put in it's place. Shampoo and general body soap prepared by the side, even a bit of perfume to assist her in combatting the scent of sweat. Besides that, a few pieces of woolen cloth had been prepared, together with a few different cremes. They were the tools she intended to treat Kanna's injuries with. That is, provided she didn't encounter any injury that needed more attention than simply massaging a creme onto it. Entering the shower, Rin's eyes met Kanna's... Normally, at least back in elementary after the accident, when Rin had stepped into the showers, all eyes had been plastered on her. Those eyes hadn't been curiously inspecting, though. They had been filled with disgust, malice, even occasionally fear. Therefore, when Kanna held none of those emotions in her eyes, Rin instead offered a soft smile. Finding an empty spot, Rin tilted her head backwards and looked up into the stream of water as the shower was turned on. They didn't have the liberty nor luxury to take warm showers - as in the temperature, even when turned up to the max, remained relatively cold. Cold showers weren't great for bruises and injuries, but walking around being filthy would be far worse..."Oh. No, not quite. It's just... my quirk deals with bruises exceedingly well. My muscles and skin is still just as damaged. It's just nowhere near as easy to see... I'm struggling a bit right now, but, I'll sort it in the shower." Rin explained in a soft tone. The girl's shampoo had a strange, yet pleasant, forest-y smell. Less pronounced than flowers or general feminine scents, and more so a direct representation of nature. While washing herself with the shampoo, should Kanna pay attention, she'd notice how Rin was adamantly massaging her own body with her fingers. Pressing, squeezing, brushing, as she worked through her injuries. Soft groans of pain, momentary lapses in breathing. The general sort of stuff. What followed, however, might've been surprising. In the shower, Rin took a simply step towards Kanna. Lifting her hand in a slow motion, she gently prodded the other girl's shoulder, biting her own lip, looking thoughtful. Tracing a finger down her back, inspecting her skin, Rin nodded a few times. "You've got seventeen different blunt impact trauma's. The worst one being at your shoulder and your ribs. I'm assuming the shoulder was some sort of throw, and the ribs some kind of kick. Either case, a short massage with tiger balm ointment should help." Turning off the tap of her own shower, Rin went into the locker rooms, where it was still only the two yuuei students present. Wrapping her hair in blanket number one, Rin wrapped her body in blanket number two. Well prepared, well organized... "Lower your towel a bit, and I'll get rid of your bruises. This is called Tiger Balm Ointment. It'll feel extremely warm, because it can enter your body's pores... but it relieves pain and helps with bruises." Assuming Kanna allowed it, Rin would start with a gentle massage of her shoulder. Even though Rin was gentle, she was actually addressing the problem, clearly not afraid to cause Kanna momentary discomfort. Moving her arm, stretching and relaxing the ligaments, massaging the muscles and promoting blood flow. At first it would've hurt more, especially since it was a cold shower. However, after a few minutes, it'd likely just feel a bit sore, and was otherwise pleasant touches...The ribcage, while a more private area, would receive the same treatment by Rin. The raven haired class president had been touching quite a few different students. Things such as personal limits started to matter significantly less, when you were treating a burn over the buttcheeks. It was simply something she had gotten used to over time. "...That about does it. Beyond that, I strongly recommend spending at least one full day stretching and relaxing. Otherwise your training will do you more damage than benefit." Nodding sagely at Kanna, Rin would begin getting dressed so they could depart the locker rooms. After all, Kanna owe'd a cup of tea, right?

"Must make it troublesome to have them treated...", noted the blonde, brow raised, scratching her cheek with a mixed hint of awe and wariness, wondering just how troublesome that Quirk could prove if it hid one's injuries but didn't exactly heal them. Rin seemed be managing thus far; At least, Kanna hoped it might make her natural healing more efficient, and that alone had to be worth something. They could talk about in greater detail later, Kanna for one wasn't about to start prying into how another student's Quirk worked, not without a real reason beyond idle curiosity. She did notice how the girl winced as she washed her body, no doubt hinting at the full extent of her injuries, taking a moment to spot where she seemed injured, only looking away after returning Rin's soft smile.
Not like she was trying to give her the wrong impression or anything. But when she looked up at her showerhead, she was caught off guard by an unexpected touch. She turned her head back to the girl beside her with widened eyes, though she hardly looked troubled by it at all. Even with that colorful, full back body art, the bruised lumps looked all too obvious, especially once the medic ran her hand across the blonde's otherwise smooth skin:
"Damn, seventeen...? Must have been the adrenaline, most of those didn't feel too bad.", she chuckled, but then hissed slightly when she felt that probing touch on her ribs, nodding and raising her arm to let the girl get a closer look, "Yeah, that was a kick alright... Bastard almost had almost had mere there. Almost...", talking helped distract her from the pain, yet all that time she couldn't help look curiously at her, especially when she mentioned a medicine she recognized by name if nothing else, "Tiger balm huh...? I'm sure i heard that name before." They shut off their respective showers at nearly the same time, and once Rin requested it, Kanna nonchalantly unwrapped her towel from around her chest. Kanna didn't particularly care about another girl seeing her topless, not in the locker room of all places, and instead merely pulled up her hair in that ponytail, keeping those golden locks from getting in the way of Rin's work. Unlike that rich, classy fragrance from the elegant girl's shampoo, Kanna's hair had a distinctive floral, yet an oviously chemical fragrance; the kind of knock off you get when you only buy the cheapest shampoo you find at the supermarket. She obviously didn't care too much for that, but then again, one might easily guess that from the messy state she wore her hair in. "Yeah, I defenitely remember that feeling...", answered the blonde as she allowed Rin to put her hands to use. Wincing ever so slightly at the painful medicine, realizing someone had used it on her before, a few years back during one of her first MMA classes. Leaning forward slightly, she allowed Rin access to her injured shoulder, biting her lip as the initial touches hurt a fair bit more, "Stings a little, but works wonders... I should consider buying some one of these days. Who knows, might come in handy..." She scratched her cheek, not really about to say how she'd probably end up this beat up again eventually, even if that should be painfully obvious to most people, especially a medic in training used to dealing with another fiesty blonde. Once the balm actually started kicking in, the pain eased away and the blonde's wound up muscles visibly relaxed under Rin's touch, letting out a soft, mellow sigh as the treatment came to an end: "T-thanks... You got pretty good hands.", mumbled Kanna, looking away, rubbing her cheek as an awkward, appreciating hint of red appeared there for the briefest of moments, averting the girl's gaze, only to nod and look back as, "...Mmm yeah, once this whole military thing is over, I defenitely will... I'll take it easy in the meantime, no worries.", clearly she had no intention of resting for a full day with so much information on the army to dig up, her eyes still had that determined look as ever.
One by one, Kanna gathered her clothes and covered herself up, relatively at least. That mix of skimpy top and denim shorts with only a red jacket above it left almost as little to imagination as a pair of panties and a towel, all the better for the hacker who liked being able to move and felt comfortable enough with her body for it. Once she'd gotten ready, she leaned against the wall and awaited for Rin to do the same:
"Come on... Let's go have that coffee.", she said once she saw Rin ready to leave as well, tilting her head as she corrected herself, "Or tea for you, I guess..."
