asey continued thinking out loud, talking to herself or an imaginary friend, the hacker had no intention of interfering with her contemplative moment. She calmly awaited for the girl to finish her shower, while also pulling off her own clothes and throwing them into the laundry basket. Some of what she overheard amused her, but for the most part, the naked Kanna merely sat on her bed, waiting for her guest to vacate the shower. The every greedy Xun came over to nuzzle against her leg, only for the blonde to calmlt pet him as she waited. Indeed, she didn't hear much, and little remained beyond the names Susumu and Sato... Kanna wasn't paying too much attention as most of this felt like Kasey's personal life, matters which concerned her very little. Indeed, as far as Quirk users she had seen, the janitor was high up there as one of the weirdest. With one blank eye, one bony hand, and the other hand full of bony fingers, she kept that same ghoulish look befitting one who just devoured corpses to get rid of them... Quirks really are as weird as they come... But on the other hand, Kanna didn't look down on her or treat her like a monster; to her, she was just the same janitor with whom she'd shared a smoke with that day. She spared but a cursory glance at her damaged form, merely wondering how long it would take her to heal all of that: "Tch, don't need the 'miss'... Just call me Kanna", she dismissee, waving a hand before her and taking hold of her ponytail. With one swift motion, she'd pull her hair free, shaking her hair before ruffling it fully loose; then and only then would she look up from her low seat, looking up into the girl's eyes, "Yeah, just buy me a coffee and we'll call it even. I mean you tried to give me a car, that's quite enough already don'tcha think?" On the other hand, she also understood the feeling of not wanting to be indebted to someone else, and thought she doubted Kasey cared about that little tidbit, she for one wasn't so hypocritical as to deny the girl something she'd also expect to do herself. And speaking of things she'd expect do do at that particular moment, getting into the shower was one of them. Considering the way she raised an eyebrow at Kasey, she'd obviously not stripped herself to her underwear to show off... After all, the blonde was pretty comfortable with her body, and even if she found the janitor pretty, she wasn't really trying to get into her pants or anything. "Sure... I have another one of those somewhere around here.", standing up from her cushy bed and walking up to her nearby drawer, with that same cool, deadpan look the girl might have gotten used to by now. She'd crouch down and pull up the bottom drawer, resting a hand on her wide hip while the other cupped her chin, "Or at least, I'm pretty sure I left one around here..." Even with her incredible memory, Kanna's messy room obviously got in the way of her potential efficiency... Thankfully, she seldom made mistakes when it came to remembering things, and eventually her face lit up with an "ah". Fetching an untraceable phone much like the one she'd given her before, Kanna handed Kasey yet another. This one had a red color instead of all black, hopefully the girl wouldn't mind: "Here you go... You can keep this one too... Replacement for the one they broke.", She'd tell her, meeting her gaze as she placed the replacement into her waiting hands. With this, she'd rest her hand on Kasey's shoulder, walking past her and heading for the shower in turn, "Now then... You aint the only one in need of a shower. Head over to the living room and put something on TV or whatever..." Leaving the girl to do whatever, Kanna headed over to the bathroom. Indeed, she could whatever she wanted in the blonde's house, except touch her computer... Even that she'd would likely allow if prompted, but then again the janitor never expressed any particular love for technology; quite the opposite she tried keeping at an arms length. Did she even have a phone before Kanna gifted her that first one? Who knows, she never really asked... After disposing of the clothes though, nothing stood between the blonde and the shower she craved. Stepping into the bathtub, onto the rubbery mat below, she turned up the hot water tap and sighed contently as the steamy rain showered down upon her stressed out body, cascading down her youthful, pear shaped figured in free flowing streams. She stood still under there until her skin grew flushed from the heat, until every piece of glass in the bathroom turning foggy as she unceremoniously melted away the aftermath of this adrenaline filled night, wondering what she'd do with this girl, what she could make of their connection. Kanna hadn't known Kasey nearly long enough to properly call her a friend, and yet she all but treated her as such already. Outwardly, she saw her as potential asset to further her informational power, and yet she understood she wouldn't really mind helping her with whatever she needed to take down those who'd just screwed her over. Would they ever look to each other as proper friends, wholly devoid of secrets...? Or would the passing of time pull them apart onto opposite sides? With her current mindset, the first option seemed impossible, and yet the second one... Just felt unpleasant... Kanna really didnt' want that either. As she mulled over her newfound bond, she poured the shampoo over her messy hair, closing her eyes as the foam dripped down her body, making it all too easy to simply rinse off the dust, grime and leftover blood in one fell swoop. She got out eventually though, grabbing a towel to wipe off most of the water, slipping on a pair of panties, and stepping right out, not even bothering to wear anything up top. The towel provided her with the scarcest measure of modesty, and it's not as if there were any guys around... Not to mention, if there were any guys around, them seeing her naked was exactly the whole point anyway. "So... What are you watching, Kasey...?", she'd inquire, stepping out of her bedroom and into her living room, one eye closed as she casually watched what had Kasey decided to do to pass the time. Anyone with half a mind would have questioned Kasey's sanity, but given a glimpse of her life and mind beforehand would change that aspect. Her own habits, no matter how strange would appear normal, acceptable almost. Eating people, while gross and unsettling, would be expected of her. Not grasping simple concepts, figures of speech, or even jokes for that matter, were just another thing that made her who she was. Why would anyone expect something less than weird from someone who strange? But who would expect something normal for a change? Listening in, Kanna had suggested a coffee. So it would be, Kasey would bring the girl a coffee every morning to school, or perhaps would it be a meeting after school? It would be something to ask her later on the specifics of the contract Kasey was signing her name on, even if Kanna wasn't one who was intending on writing such a thing beyond a verbal promise it seemed. \ Kasey stood around awkwardly as she awaited the phone to try and call her brother. As the girl got up from her bed to get the phone, Kasey began to ponder how she had managed to remember any numbers. Could she? The idea of how phones worked still mostly escaped her, only to be interrupted as she was handed a new scarlet replacement. With a nod, she listened to her roommate for the night and made her way out of the bedroom. She looked back, not at the girl, but the mess that was the room. Maybe she would clean it, maybe when she was sleeping she would have the peace of mind to do so. Walking down the hall, she turned on the phone, her touch connecting it to a network that seemed to call out to her. It almost didn't matter why it happened, but how. Big Sister called out to all of her select few. With her ties to Ketsujo Corp, as well as her identity on her private network, she would unknowningly sign into the server that she had created. The phone opening an app to watch videos. Signing into one thing, would lead to another... She would take a seat on the floor, no more than a few feet from the television, despite there being a seat around. Putting the phone in her pocket, only after learning that all of her own contacts were no longer in the device. (It's a different phone you dumb dumb.) Pressing the buttons on the brick, she turned on the great and colorful screen, only to flip channels endlessly until she stopped upon one. "This one is a movie. Let's watch it." the voice would ask her, almost commanding her to do so. Crossing her legs and setting her hands on her knees, she sat upright, watching the film on the set. Her eyes followed the strange masked man and the decorations on his face. The small bicycle that was under his body. It seemed like a children's show to her. She would watch as characters would appear, disappear, change in size and cry every so often. It seemed like a sad show, but if the small man was happy with his mask, then surely he must have been happy at least. Her eyes would follow the colors as they poured and danced across the screen, a grand smile on her face. As her friend had spoken from behind the corner, she would ask the question as to what she was watching. The show would cut to a commercial break. "I do not know, but I like it!" she would say to Kanna, only for the first commercial on the screen to be for a familiar hospital service. Moving a little backwards, she distanced herself from the screen, her arms placed behind her, moving from being before her so she could lean back. << ". . .the only hospitality is Ketsujo Hospitality. Hurt less, and live more." >> The end of it would play, for both of them to hear. As the words would spoken, Kasey would turn away from the girl back to the screen. Hurt less to live more? Did that mean hurting more meant you lived less? What was living? ~ Word Count: 706 ~ |

anna really didn't like clothes, especially not at home... With her smaller bust size she felt perfectly comfortable walking around without the added support and after a shower like this, with her skin still moist, she could perfectly go without them for a while. As she felt the water dripping down from her blonde hair and onto her back, the cool sensation of those wet trickles running along her spine had her grab the towel and wipe them off; squeezing her hair once more in an attempt to wipe off the worst of them. Kasey noticed her eventually, yet her eyes were completely glued to the screen, she didn't even bother turning her head sideways to meet the hacker's gaze. In turn, she approached them, resting a hand atop the back of the sofa: "You... put it on...? Without even knowing what it was?", inquired Kanna, raising an eyebrow curious, and yet not really incredulously. Just about everything crazy Kasey did was interesting enough to pique her curiosity, but not enough to surprise her. She walked over behind the couch, keeping one eye on the television, indulging that curiosity until a splatter of blood actually appeared on screen. A soft, knowing sigh escaped the blonde's lips, as her head lowered and her lips drew into her smile, "I shoulda known you'd pick a slasher flick." The television provided a clear idea of Kasey's tastes, not that she needed it to. She picked rather bloody film about masked homicidal pyschos, with tons of blonde chicks screaming her lungs out as they got hacked to pieces... The usual American stuff, really. Mind you, she didn't exactly dislike it, far from it. Properly draping the towel around her neck and covering her breasts, just enough for her guest not to feel like she was hitting on her or some shit. With a rustling sound, she picked up a bag of potato chips, as well as two cans of Monstruous energy from the fridge, and returned to the living room to sit at Kasey's side. Unlike the janitor's comparatively elegant stance, Kanna slouched forward, crossing her arms, resting her elbows on her spread out knees. "Tch, these commercials are so full of shit... Skip ahead, will ya?", she turned her head to Kasey, taking the red hair tie on her wrist and pulling up her hair in that signature, short ponytail. She kept a few bangs loose, letting them hand aside, framing her face. As her hair steadily dried up, it slowly returned to that normally messy state, evidencing how little time the blonde actually spent combing it. Echoing the girl's movement, Kanna too leaned back and rested her head on the couch, draping one arm behind the back. With her idle hand, she'd look at Kasey and hand her a can of that sweet, sugary goodness called energy drink: "Here...", she'd offer, looking all too casual and deadpan as always, without anything near the kind of expression you'd imagine from someone offering something. She'd nod towards the nearby bag of junk food, not really minding if Kasey joined her for a very unhealthy midnight snack, "Help youself to the chips too, not like I need to eat 'em all." If she was just gonna sit there and watch her eat, might as well get some food in her, right? She had a rough night after all, and no matter how she went at it Kanna struggled to actually look at those corpses as nourishment. People don't eat other people unless they're well and truly desperate, surely that must be a reason for that, no? Regardless of whether Kasey accepted her offer of snacks, Kanna opened the other can for herself too, chugging well over half of it one long, loud swoop - turning her head up and pouring the drink down in a hardly graceful fashion: "Ahhhh~...", a content sigh escaped her lips, soon followed by a tiny drop of sugary drink trickling off the corner of her mouth, "That hits the spot..." With the adrenaline from the earlier rescue, Kanna hardly realized just how much energy she'd spent. Between Kasey's abduction and the ever present, swollen ache in her right hand, she'd all but forgotten to tend to the peckish feeling that built up in the meantime. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Saw. Blades. Chainsaws. Blood. Kasey had accepted them as normal parts of her life. Death and quirks were all over. The only instance, was the question of why they died, or what happened to the bodies after. Didn't he reuse the rooms? Could he reuse them? Who was going to clean up the mess? There was many questions she had to ask, but again, the offering of a snack would interrupt her. From one thought to the next, she continued to explore ideas, without ever going back. She would smile, taking the soda from the girl. Digging her nail under the tab to open the can. The crisp pop of the drink as well as the cool liquid danced within the aluminum can before she lifted it to her lips, preparing to down the cola in a single chug. . . . "This does not taste like Cola." Kasey thought to herself. Her body taking in all of the nutrients of the new drink. Her own stomach would begin to churn, only as she reached out to the remote to change the channel. If she didn't want to watch the commercials, Kasey was going to find a new show. Placing the empty can in her lap, she held the remote with both hands as she skimmed past more channels, only to land on a cooking network showcasing a bunch of strange foods. "Kasey... What did you drink?" The girl would look down as her answer, to read the label of the can. "OKAY, STAY CALM. NO NEED TO PANIC." "BUT WHY ARE YOU YELLING?" she would say in reply, the energy drink kicking in. In her bare, ivory eye, a black dot would begin to appear in the middle of it, the first forming of her brand new iris. "Mani'mhungrycanweorderfood? DowehavecerealcanIhavesome? Ireallylikethecolorfulonethatisabunchoflittledonut circlesthattasteliekfruits." Her own worlds would grow slurred and linked to each other as she spoke, her eyes would begin to dilate, taking in as much light as they possibly could, but unlike what someone would normally believe, she remained completely still. Her heart would begin to pound, all of the fuel pumping into her veins. Her breathing would begin to speed up, despite appearing to be completely calm. The voice inside of her screaming, telling her to remain calm, while to him, the world was spinning, shaking, vibrating. He had never endured a hyper Kasey, until just this moment. ~ Word Count: 401 ~ |

anna had given up trying to overanalyze the shit she saw in movies... Trying to hard would probably lower her IQ, so might as well not. She'd already established most movie characters had to be completely retarded or else they wouldn't have a plot: Seriously, there's five of you, now why in the world do you think it a good idea to split up inside the killer's lair? At one point it might have exhasperated her, but right now, she really didn't care. Kicking back and watching the bloody movie, she calmly opened her bag of chips, grabbed a handful, and slovenly shoved them in her mouth. Munch, crunch... Gulp, gulp... With the two of them scarfing down junk food, they might even struggle to hear the movie, at least Kanna with the amount of chips she stuffed in her mouth. The sugary energy drink kept her wide awake like it always did, and her eyes peeled on the flick projected on the wall. Every so often she'd glance at the girl beside her, mere cursory glances, or at other times she'd shift her butt ever so slightly whenever she felt her bare skin sticking to her seat. But after a while of casually looking, her jade eyes lingered on her friend's form, who looked... Off... She wasn't so gross as to speak with her mouth full or anything though, so Kanna calmly finished munching her chips, gulped down some more Monstruous energy, and prepared to speak up and ask if she was feeling fine. But she wouldn't get the chance. Kasey's sudden outburst almost startled her, and in the end Kanna could only snap right back "What the fuck?!", she snapped, furrowing her brow started yelling of nowhere, complaining about... You guessed it, yelling. Ten ironies for this one. When she started blurting out incomprehensible words though, Kanna rolled her eyes, finally realizing her issue, "Ugh, Fucking lightweight...", at the overexcited state she saw her new roomate in, Kanna merely sighed and shook her head, bringing a hand to her forehead. Half exhasperated but without ignoring that slight hint of amusement, at the thought of her new drug dealer falling prey to a simple sugar rush, "How about some pizza?" She was fine offering some of her own storage, but she was pretty sure Kasey would end up raiding her entire fridge and whatever else she could find. Which meant Kanna would need to go shop for groceries again tomorrow ans she really couldn't deal with that kind of a hassle. She had little issues with the money, after all, that girl tried to give her a fucking lambo... Hell, even a rental would have been pricey as hell, and she pretty much got that for free. Kasey did whatever she could not to make Kanna feel indebted, or at least to convince the girl to accept her. So as she looked intently at the oddly static janitor, wondering if she'd accept, Kanna merely raised an eyebrow and picked up her cellphone, ready to order some pizzas if should the offer strike her fancy. More importantly, Kanna couldn't help help but oggle her grinder as if she'd just spotted the savior himself. She defenitely had to roll a joint, that would most likely calm this woman down for once... Yet before that, maybe ordering the pizzas would calm her down just enough to pull it off. When Kasey inevitably accepted the first order, she'd type over the number and place the order for two large ham and cheese, give her address, and then start grinding some herbals. "You really should join me for a smoke though... Seriously, you need to chill the fuck out.", encouraged Kanna, eyes on the sugar crazed girl, grabbing a large head of weed and stuffing it into the grinder, slowly rolling it her palm. The thick smell of herbal medicine soon began filling the air, hinting to the quality of the goods... As Kasey had yet to provide her with her stuff, this still came from Kanna's own stash ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

The time you spent trying to understand a movie, rather than enjoy it, was a moment spent working, and not relaxing. Kasey worked long hours, every day of the week. Her own captivity, the forced solitude and silence of the dark room. It felt like forever, it felt like years. It was only a week... only a week she was gone from the world. it had been so often, so frequently that she was the one who built, ran and owned the killers lair. It wasn't until recently, that she was a victim to it.. again. But why choose innocent lives to suffer, when you can make the evil and wicked pay for their crimes, making the eliminate each other and make choices they would never normally think about. Kasey was aware that she herself, was no better off than they were in the eyes of the people, but she believed she was doing what no hero could. She would kill, maim and torture those that had harmed others, given the evil and fear they had done to others, to themselves. She was more than satisfied to get her hands soaked in blood. It was what she lived for. She was willing to bear the weight and the force of the world to make her the villain. Then, she would live at peace, no one no one would harm the innocent lives anymore. No one could hurt anyone... if nobody was willing to hurt, but herself. "ILikePizza. CanIGetCerealThough? HeLikesTheRainbowOne. DoYouHaveRainbow Cereal?" She would agree to the offer of the cooked and delivered meal. Kasey was hungry, but with the offerings of cereal, or anything crunchy for the matter. She would be able to survive, being hungry, starving almost, if she was able to ease and please the voice in her hand with something to munch on. Chips weren't enough for him to enjoy his time in his own personal prison. "IAmMostFine," she would begin to tell the girl, her body still, but her mind was bouncing off of the walls. "DoYouEatPizzaOften?" While her words were slurred, they were a bit more clear than before, all of the sugars in her body settling. All of that energy that would be stored and burn off later for her own healing and recovery. "IfHeDoesntWantToKillMe,WeCanGoToHisHouseAndTakeHisHerbs." she would suggest to her, not explaining her living conditions again, if she did already before. None of what she said was being recorded in her mind. She wouldn't even remember as much as if she explained Setsuna, and here she was, on the verge of doing so. ~ Word Count: 429 ~ |

he moment she agreed, Kanna dialed the number on ordered the pizzas she'd decided upon earlier. It took no more than three minutes, during which she'd turn down the volume on the speakers and hopefully on Kasey as well. That might be too much to ask for really, but a girl can hope right? If she was already like this, Kanna wasn't really looking forward to watching her with some mean munchies... But then again she much preferred actually being able to make sense of her words. She may not be the brightest apple in the bunch, but despite her grueling lack of common sense Kasey was far from being a complete idiot. She could hold a conversation and the blonde even agreed with a whole bunch of her views: "Sure, sure, I have an open bag by that table over there.", nodding towards a table beside her computer, Kanna drew the girl's attention to the open pack of cereal standing right there. With her hands busy grinding weed, she couldn't exactly point her along or anything of the sort. Wrong flavor but if that didn't do it for her, Kanna could only shrug and shake her head, "I hope he likes crunchy chocolate though, cause that's all I got." She half expected Kasey to spring from her seat and rush over to the place she pointed, and for that reason she'd keep her eyes peeled and on her hyper guest, especially so once she approached her prized, glowing red tower. Sure, all the important data was constantly backed up, but Kanna had some reserves in drugged out friends approaching her pride and joy. Hopefully, the janitor's watchful eye for food would guide her to the cereal easily enough, and after which she could come back and join Kanna in the couch: "Well yeah, it tastes good and I can't cook worth for shit.", somewhat of a lie - depending on a person's standards - but she didn't want people thinking she could cook... No way she'd have her friends asking to make food for them or anything. Well, she could cook well enough not to starve, so long as you didn't expect it to taste good or anything. Kanna for one would never call it cooking if she herself didn't liek that taste... Not to mention, "Pizza place is close by, so they deliver, like... Pretty fucking fast actually" Faster than she could ever make food, and with far less of a mess either. Also about as much time as she took to walk over to the nearby supermarket to stock up on food, which made it really convenient. Once Kasey hopefully joined her again, Kanna would still have her eyes on her as she licked the upper edge of the rolling paper, properly wrapping the freshly rolled joint. But it appeared one marijuana cigarette wasn't enough for her and quite frankly, not for Kanna either. Her brow quirked with visible interest as she grabbed the lighter, holding the joint between her lips: "I'm cool with that idea, but... How do you figure out if he wants to kill you without...? You know, letting him kidnap you again?", she'd ask, pressing down on the lighter, bringing the flame close to the join, and inhaling deeply. One by one, she'd take three slow drags, sinking down on the couch as she passed Kasey the live joint, "Take three and pass." Normally her buddies could pay attention and take about as many hits as they wanted, but with Kasey's sugar problem, she figured might as well tell her how many she was supposed to take. Not that she had any shortage of weed or anything... ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

As the television would be turned down, Kasey would reach to her own horns on her head and begin to tap them, dragging her finger across them. They would begin to grow, from being just half and inch, to nearly a foot, curling and bending backwards, as if to follow the shape of her head. Silently, she would sit there, awaiting an answer to her snack and meal for the night, at least the dinner to please the spirit within her. As she answered, Kasey would swing her head around to look for the cereal, only to find a bag, removed from its tasty box to sit upon a counter. Like an animal, she set her right hand on the ground and begun to run over to the counter on all fours, her right leading her as her left just supported her weight between strides. She was reduced her to her animalistic ways, thinking only of her infancy in the world. As she neared the computer, she would sit on the floor, lifting herself just enough to grow to be eye level with the bag of cereal. If she had a tail, it would be wagging viciously, perhaps even going as far to knock things over. It was a good thing she did not have cat ears to go along with her white hair, and it was a great thing she did not have a long tail to show her emotions. But alas, her hunger for blood was without a name, and would be without an end. Without using her hands, she would slam her head into the counter, picking up the food without the use of her hands. Her teeth held onto the bag of cereal, and like a proud dog, she trotted back to her seat by the television. But she would not leap onto the couch, having seen the girl focus on rolling the strange, but still familiar smelling cigarette. Carefully, she would lift her hands to set herself onto her seat, before curling up on her side to feed herself the cereal. All of it would unfold without a word from her, and she would continue to exist beside her without speaking. She was content, and the taste of the cereal mattered not to her. It could have been stale, or old, or flavored like feet. All that mattered was the sugar, the calories, and the crunch. With a smile, she would continue to feed herself. The drink settling in her body, she was no longer unsettled. "I'll leave you to it then." the voice spoke, taking a back seat adventure into the bliss that was his meal. As she quickly begun to savagely devour her prey, she would be handed another pass of the rolled plant for her to enjoy. As she lifted her skeleton hand to receive it, she would find trouble in holding it at first, only to caress it carefully in her fingers. Pressing it between her index and middle finger she put it to her lips, only to take a long inhale, allowing the smoke to fill her lungs, pushing all of the oxygen out of her system. She would exhale slowly, as she inhaled first, only to fill the bag of cereal with smoke. Taking it from her lips, she would pass it back to the girl with her right hand, her left continuing to feed herself. her flesh fingers holding the paper joint as she offered it back. They had both taken three hits. But of course, Kasey didn't count. It's like she knew how to count anyways. "I like the smell." she thought to herself, her face smiling with her treat in her hands. The effect of the herb would only last for a short time in her system as it begun to detox her as fast as she could drug herself. It wasn't that she was a heavy user, or even a lightweight. It just could not effect her faster than she could recover from it. Such was the life of a skeleton princess. ~ Word Count: 677 ~ |

usy ordering her food and rolling her joint, Kanna all but missed the janitor's rush for bag of cereal. She'd much rather send her there than have her rummage through her kitchen and forcing her to clean everything up tomorrow... Ideally, she'd much rather order food than having Kasey cleaning out her storage and have no choice but to go out and buy groceries tomorrow. She couldn't help but notice how the girl's ravenous hunger seemingly made her horns grow, or perhaps the girl herself did so consciously in an attempt to make everything more dramatic... She did look pretty hungry after all. Kasey acted pretty much like a ravenous beast... Quite frankly, she'd acted more human about it when she was about to devour those corpses. Perhaps Kanna's fearlessness and self destructive nature was just too much for her own good, but she couldn't really feel threatened by the girl's presence, even if she otherwise might. She really didn't get the homicidal maniac vibe from her, so much she could only watch her moves warily in hopes she wouldn't thrash her Computer while nabbing her bag of cereal. In the end, a relieved sigh escaped her lips when the janitor returned to their seat. Nothing had been damaged, everything was fine. Thus, Kasey came back to find a lit joint and playing movie waiting for her, and to each girl her respective munchies, they slowly started smoking through the blonde's stash. Mind you, she had a pretty fucking powerful stash. Kanna had connections, many of whom acquired online through deep web channels, but for the most part she just made it a point to know all the best dealers in the neighborhood... Indeed, even the pharmaceutical employee's own supplies might struggle to come close to this level of potency: "It's pretty damn good...", asserted Kanna, curiously watching the girl as she took her three puffs, wondering if she'd cough or anything of the sort. Indeed, coughing made it hit you harder, so she half hoped the girl might. If you're gonna smoke weed, might as well get the best possible high out of it no? Well, that, and she always found it playfully amusing watching her drug buddies coughing themselves on her powerful product, "...So... How good is your stuff compared to this one?" That smile on her face spoke volumes though... All of a sudden, Kasey seemed far more mellow than she once did, enough for Kanna to echo her smile as she too sunk her weight into her couch. She drunk another good chug of her energy drink. Taking the joint back from her hands, the blonde took three more hits and then returned the joint. Keeping up with that pace, they'd gradually blaze through the entire joint. And with every hit, Kanna would steadily feel that high seep into her body, both quickening and dulling her thoughts at the same time. The minutes went by slower and slower and the chips disappeared faster. Xun eventually came over, meowing as he nuzzled Kanna's leg and eventually climbed onto her lap. The blonde scratched behind his neck until he purred contently, taking care not to drop any ash on him. Her smile looked almost cute as she Hearing a ringing doorbell momentarily roused the sluggish Kanna from her stoned torpor, the prospect of food beating out the inertia: "Oh, there's our pizza.", immediately, she all but lost interest in her joint, passing it to Kasey for the last time, "Here, you can finish it...", she'd tell her with that deadpan look, before leaning over the side of the couch, peachy, panty clad rear perking up slightly into the air as she lazily leaned over the armrest, reaching for the coffee table a few feet away. Too lazy to stand up, clearly... Yet something would soon rouse Kanna's lazy, stoned body. Surely enough, a frustrated grumble reached her ears, and then another. The cat left his owner's lap, as if somewhat antecipating what would come next, "Xun! Fucking shit, not again! Ugh, why you gotta eat all my money, dude?!?" Out of nowhere, Kanna snapped at her cat who merely hopped off, knowing he'd done something bad. On and on Kanna groaned, but in the end she'd get up, growling as she approached her backpack. She still had quite enough money there, as well as in other storage places around the house. Picking up a couple of yens and slipping on a jacket for modesty's sake, she disappeared to recieve her order, and return about a minute later: "I come bearing gifts.", she'd state, a gleeful grin plastered on her face. Clearly even a gruff girl like Kanna held an especially soft spot junk food while stoned, the cheesy smell alone all but making her want to drool... Who would have though... All but darting over to the couch again, she'd hand Kasey her very own, large box of pizza with a grin on her face, "We have a family sized pizza each, so... Dig in." ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

In the eyes of the public, if word of what she was doing ever got out, she would be seen as a monster. Her nature, was that of something subhuman, a beast. She held no regret over her duties, or her actions. She felt no remorse, no pain, no sorrow in killing the numerous people she did, including their families. They were meaningless, just another walking meal for her. Meals that caused pain and suffering. They did not deserve to live, and as such she would take care of them, cleaning the country of Japan, one body at a time. When she was done, nothing was left behind, other than a puddle of blood. The people, were for her. She had chosen them as her meal, her preferred meal. While Setsuna desired the more trivial breakfast, dry. In their symbiotic relationship, Setsuna had always been the reasonable one, despite being the one that had decided to tell Kasey to consume the bodies the first time. "I do not know how they compare." she would tell her friend, "You can come to the plant and watch them prepare it, then you can tell me." She would tell Kanna, not really being an expert on drugs. She only knew what hit her, and for how long. Some things hit stronger, others lasted longer. But anytime she had sat down with the other workers, what they had taken, was only a fraction of what Kasey had. With a split consciousness, most of the drugs would settle on Setsuna, before it would effect Kasey. Her body had already been resistant to toxins and poisons, and with her healing factor, she had a lot of catch up to do, before she could enjoy any high. There was even one instance of using several horse tranquilizers, just to slow Kasey down... and still she kept going... Kasey lay there, tasting the cereal, which seemed to get better with every bite. Rather than shoving handfuls in her mouth, she begun to take one piece at a time, biting it in half, swallowing it, before consuming the other half. She would lay there, mostly silent as she continued to eat, the spirit within her, completely dazed, enjoying himself in peace for once. But it wasn't long until a muffled sound came to her ears. Her friend would begin to speak, but Kasey was in her own world. Looking up, she found the cigarette once more. With a smile, she took it from her friend, taking one long drag from it, before opening her mouth to swallow the roach. "Wooooo Tangggg." Setsuna's voice would be drawn out as Kasey did such a thing, continuing to eat the cereal until the smell of the pizza filled her nostrils. Her hands would crumple the bag, sealing it as good as closing it with some kind of tape or rubber band would do. Kasey would sit up, turning around to find her friend clothed for once. She was curious as to why, but Kasey would forget soon after she saw the pizzas. Tilting her head back, her eyes rolled as she took in a deep breath from her nose. She would take in the aroma a she leaned over the back of the couch. Her friend would make her way around, only to hand her a single pizza for herself, without hesitation, she would open the box and take up one of the steaming fresh slices, with a wide mouth, and jagged shark teeth she bit into her newest meal.. . . A small bite, like that of a child before setting it back into the box to cool down. She sat with a smile on her face, tasting the pizza and enjoying it for what it was. She would glance over at her friend for approval. ~ Word Count: 635 ~ |

er words made the blonde's eyes widen, baffled by what she was hearing. Despite the words of advertisement to the quality of her own product, the janitor had no words of comparison between that and the blonde's own stash. Of course, the stoned Kanna took a while to realize how the janitor really didn't understand what she'd been asked to compare. Not so much the smell or even the look of the herbs, but how much they hit her. That's what really matters in the end when it comes to drugs: "So, lemme get this straight...", she rubbed her forehead, glancing down in a look of visible struggle... Struggle to grasp what went on inside that unpredictable mind of the janitor. She'd lean back onto the couch eventually, fully turning to face the other girl, crossing one leg upon the seat as her arm came to rest behind the couch, "You smoked enough to forget you own name...", she paused at this part, hoping for a nod or anything with a quizzical furrowing of her brow, "...But you can't compare the kind of high you got...?" Another pause as that blonde eyebrow rose a bit higher. Kanna half expected the answer she'd get, but should Kasey actually confirm it, a soft snicker would escape her mouth, and she'd drink a bit more of her can of Monstruous before answering: "Heh... Not sure how I should feel about that.", she'd eventually conclude, all but sighing as even now she couldn't help but smirk. Hopefully it meant Kanna's own weed was so good she couldn't compare the two, but who knew... Indeed, Kasey was interesting, entertaining even. Far more so than most people. Fortunately, she knew a very easy way to get the comparison she wanted, looking intently into those green eyes of hers with a curious smirk, "Well, can you remember your name now~?", regardless of Kasey's final answer, she'd nonetheless express interest in the tour she suggested, "Still, I might just take you up on that offer sometime. I've seen the plants before, but never, like... A while fucking greenhouse." Not today though... As she returned with food in hand, she had other, more pressing concerns that going out to visit a greenhouse. Such as kicking back on her favorite couch with her friend, and gorging herself on pizza without a care in the world. Indeed, Kanna clearly didn't like wearing clothes any longer than necessary. The moment she returned to the couch, Kanna removed the jacket she slipped on, for not reason other than not to flash her boobs to the pizza man like in some cheap prono. At home, on a warm summer night like this, she'd have probably walked around topless the whole time, but with Kasey around, she made sure to at least keep that towel somewhat in place lest she may see it as a proposition of sorts. Her blonde hair had all but dried by now, and she no longer felt those chilly wet droplets trickling down onto her bare back... Perhaps she could consider actually fetching herself a tank top or something... Yeah, she probably she should... But whenever she inhaled, that strong, delicious scent of warm, freshly pizza assaulted her nostrils, and irresistable call to her equally baked mind. Her mouth watering, the blonde immediately decided getting dressed was the least of her priorities. Wasting no time, she opened a box of pizza, picked up a slice, and bit into it. And after each bite came another, and then another: "...Sho fockin' guuuuuud~", normally she has just the faintest measure of neatness not to speak with her mouth full. But in the comfort of her own home and with budding munchies making her stomach growl, Kanna wouldn't really help herself. She all but stuffed most of the pizza slice into her mouth bite by bite, sloppily praising the 'quality' of her food with a blissed out look on her face A small bit of food clung to the corner of her mouth, as well as more than one trickle of tomato sauce trickling down the corner of her mouth. Such was the look on her face when she turned her gaze sideways and watched Kasey looking right at her, and that that point, she paused, all but tensing as the faintest trace of red colored her cheeks. Compared to her, Kasey looked almost dainty as she ate, only adding to the blonde's budding, awkward embarassment... Oh, the irony... ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

She took the same drugs, the same food, the same bit of information that anyone else did, but her brain had processed everything backwards, her body would jumble and mix everything around before it even got there. She wasn't smarter than anyone else, but she sure as hell saw the world through a different set of eyes... and two sets at that. As she asked the question about her former experience, she would nod. She did forget her name, but this time, she did not. So what was different? "I am Kasey Setsuna, school janitor at Yuuei." she would tell her, "But, food does taste realllllly good right now." she would answer the girl, lifting the slice of pizza back to her mouth to take another small bite, her teeth slowly chewing her meal as her tongue savored every drop of grease. She would close her eyes to enjoy the bliss that was fine dining. "I mean there's more than the greenhouse, there is also the little mini factory that they bring the boxes to and they all get cute little baggies." She was perhaps a bit too excited to show off a drug industry to her friend, but it was just something she found far to interesting. Sato produced in high volume, sold some under a name that wasn't tied to his corporation, and sold a slightly different brand to a different market. All he had to do was report his winnings in one of his many other businesses and no one would ever find out because all of his numbers reflected his wealth. If he was making so much, what need did he really have to upgrade or change any of his measures? Why would be reinforce his banks if they're going to keep getting robed? After all, he was the one who commit the crimes against himself, no wonder he didn't press to find the culprits. If anyone knew just half of what she did, they could easily blackmail the entire company. They could hold all of this over Sato's head and get him to pay out all kinds of things. Of course, to bring him down was to put thousands of people out of work if he shut down. So at what cost was it worth it? "Kanna, what is your quirk anyways?" Kasey would ask, prepared to have to tell her truth before getting an answer. But she was curious as to why a lot of things happened like they did. o not that strong huh...? Noted.", nodded the blonde, not so much disappointed by the somewhat predictably lower quality of her own product, but more excited at actually trying out something powerful enough to that effect on Kasey... Really she'd need to drink tons of booze to ever experience that sort of effect, and Kanna always preferred most mind altering substances over getting wasted. Yet her mention of food completely captured Kanna's attention once more, her eyes drifting off to that succulent, juicy Pizza resting on her lap, "I know right... Fuck i can't stop eating...!" Now more than ever, one might think Kanna's slender figure, that toned, trim waistline resulted from her Quirk, and all those hacking powers were merely the result of... Well, hacking skill. Slice after slice, their late night munchies disappeared before their eyes and unto their bellies, with Kanna for one eating much faster than her deceptively feminine weed buddy. Even the discussion on the greenhouse, while visibly interesting enough to seize the blonde's attention, thoroughly paled in comparison to the appeal of pizza... It's not like they could go there now or anything... At the mention of her quirk though, she paused her frenzied eating just enough: "Oh...? Why made you think of that now...?", ever curious, Kanna answered the question with a question, jade gaze peeling away from the final slice of pizza in her mouth. Despite her usual reservations with openly discussing her Quirk, her eyes showed no form of suspicion towards the girl, merely intrigue at the suddenness of her interest; something she'd scarcely ever shown before, "Well...", she sighed, brushing some blonde locks away from her face and looking the girl in the eyes, "You showed me yours, so I guess I can show you mine." Once more looking towards the nearby coffee table, she picked up her smart phone and held it up in front of Kasey. Clearly showing the screen, Kanna made it a point not to actually touch the screen, refraining from controlling the device in any way of form. Kasey would have her eyes peeled on it "Both of those questions have the same answer...", and with a slight, barely noticeable spark flying off between her fingers and the device, the screen began moving without any interference. The screen unlocked without needing to swipe anything, soon followed by that helpful feminine voice of the phone's AI assistant, "Hello Kasey. As you can see, Kanna's Quirk lets her control the flow of information in any electronic device she touches, freely controlling it. Simply put, she can talk to any gadget in binary." She felt no need to explain how much easier hacking became with this quirk at her disposal, surely Kasey figured that much out as she watched what she could do to her phone without pressing a single key. "I'm good enough to break into computers - and even whole networks with enough time - and I can do that without using my Quirk. If I do use it, I can break into places much faster.", but now that she indulged Kasey's curiosity, Kanna raised an eyebrow, "Now my question is, why do you care...? Figured you didn't even like technology..." ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Listening, she had stuck to the words of having shown Kanna, her own quirk. A smile pulled her lips wide, grinning. She hadn't shown her anything, so what did she really think Kasey had as her own skill? Was it eating? No, that wouldn't do, Kasey would make sure to make it clear to her. She would watch as she picked up the phone, only to seem to show she didn't do anything. Was there a sensor, a program she had within it? And if both questions had the same answer, did that mean she was just as well as Big Sister was? It wasn't after that the phone spoke, even saying her name. If she had planned for it, recording beforehand, she would have to anticipate the question. Kasey thought about how it would be that way, or even that it was possible. Either she had waited this whole time for it, or her quirk allowed her to speak to machines with her touch. It made sense. All of the assists and computers in the car. All she had to do was connect to the soul of them, and they could bond, becoming one thing. Like family. "I don't." she would tell her. "Not because I don't understand it, but because I can't create it." With her right hand, she pulled at her pinky on her left, tearing it from her hand, only to have another finger made of bone grow in its place. Without so much as an expression, she tossed it into her pizza box. Lifting a slice, she shoved it into her mouth, her teeth no longer flat and squared to break it down, but razor sharp fangs that would cut the pizza like paper in a shredder. Taking a deep breath, she only hoped her finger was a glimpse into what was about to come. "Also he hates it, because he can't see it." Her hand would begin to fuse into one solid piece of bone, only to turn round into a ball, her wrist would extend as it did so, creating a disk for the ball to spin and pivot on, much like a spinal disk. "I don't actually have last name. It's his name." As she spoke, her hand would begin to be pulled to a longer shape, with two spikes slowly protruding from the top of it. As it changed it begun to resurface, retexture itself until it became the familiar face she knew as her friend. "Setsuna wanted to thank you for helping us." she would tell the girl, "He would tell you himself, but we haven't figured that out yet." she would speak, reaching down to another slice of pizza to shove it into her mouth just as she did before. After doing so, she would pick up the one she was nibbling before, and take a small bite to enjoy the flavors of it. The head that took place of her hand looked at the blonde girl before turning to face the creature that created his head. He didn't want to speak, he wanted to enjoy himself. Perhaps it was the worst time for a skull to appear, but to Kasey, it might as well been the only time. "Also he likes your cereal."~ Word Count: 545 ~ |

Indeed, Kasey had never really shown the true potential of her Quirk, but already revealed a fair bit about it over the fast few days. Kanna knew it had to be something hard that could be used as a weapon, something capable of transforming her body into something that could eat humans (bones and all) as well as something that likely hurt her when used. Quirks causing self harm often came with some form of regeneration that could potentially be harnessed just as easily... This significantly narrowed down all the possible options "Still, it always helps knowing the bare minimum about all the different tools you can use...", replied Kanna, somewhat surprised the answer, yet nonetheless replying as objectively as she could. She didn't really know what to expect when she asked this question, and couldn't cupping her chin contemplatively, wondering what could so clearly turn the janitor off from the idea of mastering things she couldn't create... In that case, then what exactly could she create? Thankfully, Kasey would answer that question very shortly. The hacker's eyes would widen, halting her perpetual eating for once as she the girl casually ripped off her own finger, "Oi oi... Don't go tearing yourself to pieces now. Haven't they messed you up enough...?!" Kanna should probably reconsider any notions of getting the janitor drugged. Energy drinks made her hyper, and weed, while seeming initially harmless, apparently made her start pulling off bits of herself. Even understanding she was just showing the blonde her Quirk, that had to be a bit much no...? Apparently, she needed just that to fully manipulate her bones into the menacing appearance of her skull. Why she needed to sharpen her teeth just to eat pizza someone bewildered the blonde, but at the same time that wasn't really the point now was it? "Oh...? So your Quirk controls bones using a separate entity...", now coming face to face with the explanation, the captivated Kanna shoved the rest of her pizza into her mouth and put down the cardboard box, turning to Kasey and fully crossing her legs atop the couch. Sighing as things started to make sense, she crossed her arms against the towel on her chest, "That might be the toughest ability I've ever seen... But i guess that explains how you survived back there." Her words of thanks left the blonde scratching behind her neck, almost humbly and dismissive, unsure how to feel about her intentions towards Kasey. Yes, she wanted information the girl posessed, wanted her to keep dealing drugs, but at the same time: "Yeah, don't mention it, both of you... If you vanished, who knows what kind of shitty janitor they'd employ next?", an insightful snicker escaped the blonde's lips, perhaps revealing the closest sign of appreciation she'd shown for the woman in front of her. Kanna didn't really look at Kasey as a monster, for she knew even Quirkless humans had all they needed to become monsters in spirit if not appearance... Such was the beastial nature of humanity, and the heart of a monster was far worse than the seeming body of one, "Is that so...? Well, they're just the average cereal you get a the supermarket~", she glanced away, nodding as one hand came to rest atop her knee, "They're really nothing special, yknow?" ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY
