Effect: Countless hours of training, countless trials overcome, and countless swings of her blade have honed Tetsuko's swordsmanship, the skill of the Shindou heiress taking a powerful form. Not only has she shown proficiency in various kata, Tetsuko has also begun to grasp the truest essence of Jikishinkage-ryū, and the immovable heart at its peak. Her skill is on par with many school founders of history, and within the main lineages of Jikishinkage-ryū, she now possesses the necessary rank to become an associate instructor, earning her the title of -kyōshi and rank of kyuri-no-maki.

Although her abilities have become wondrous to behold, Tetsuko still has a heavy legacy upon her shoulders, and is far from the summit she climbs toward.

Kashima Shinden Jikishinkage-ryū

Effect: Though it is only barely, Tetsuko has begun to reach the peak of her martial art. With a wealth of experience and countless hours lost to training, she has attained a level of skill in swordsmanship rivaled by very few. Talent and practice have created a truly worthy heir to the Shindou name, with ability on par with some of the strongest swordsmen alive today, and throughout history.

Tetsuko's skill has allowed her the title of Shihandai, and the rank of goku-i. Now reaching the summit of her skills, Tetsuko had officially learned all 5 of the orthodox kata of Jikishinkage-ryū. The Hōjō Kata, the Tō Kata, the Kodachi Kata, the Habiki kata, and - the 'ultimate' form of the martial art - the Marubashi Kata. With so many techniques at her disposal, the ability to be flexible with a number of different sword types, and even considerable competency in other weapons and hand-to-hand, Tetsuko has become an outstanding warrior.

Heki-ryū

Effect: In her efforts to emulate the skills of the samurai of yore, Tetsuko has taken to learning from the oldest known school of Japanese archery, Heki-ryū, alongside other sources. Learning how to make simple iron bows and crossbows with her Quirk, with iron cables and a variety of projectiles, Tetsuko has effectively armed herself with the ability to strike targets at range with her newfound skill! Using her newly practiced, skills, Tetsuko can reliably hit targets up to 18 meters away.

Her proficiency in weaponry has already been honed by years of training; it's little surprise she picked up this new art so quickly. Tetsuko moves yet closer to becoming the very samurai she idolizes!

Iron Chef

Effect: After joining the cooking club and receiving lessons from its president, Tetsuko Shindou has developed a skill in cooking that she uses to support her own dietary needs. She also, naturally, uses this skill for the benefit of others, aiming to cook meals that provide nutritional and health benefits. Her cooking ability is better than your average Joe's, but is still not far beyond a beginner level. Her specialty is Japanese cuisine.

Heki-ryū

Effect: In her efforts to augment her fighting style and expand beyond swordsmanship, Tetsuko has taken to learning from the oldest known school of Japanese archery, Heki-ryū, alongside other sources. Learning how to make capable iron bows and crossbows with her Quirk, alongside iron cables and a variety of thrown projectiles, Tetsuko has effectively armed herself with the ability to strike targets at range. Using her proficiency with the bow, Tetsuko can reliably hit targets up to 30 meters away.

Iron Chef

Effect: Tetsuko has been a member of the cooking club for a while now, and her skill in the culinary arts has grown significantly. She uses this skill for the benefit of herself others, aiming to cook meals that provide nutritional and health benefits. Her cooking ability is above that of a hobbyist, though she'd hesitate to call herself more than amateur. Her specialty is in Japanese cuisine, now able to tackle some of the more complex aspects of the style.


Kaginawa Jutsu
Rank: E
Effect: To greater affect her ability to move around her environment, Tetsuko has trained in a classic and oft-forget art, one that was frequently used by the shinobi of old. By using her iron, Tetsuko has learned how to form grappling hooks and other climbing tools, allowing her greater mobility on the battlefield, able to deploy and retract these tools to traverse a variety of terrains.
