The day, as always, was not forgiving to the poor, young Kouta. Sat down quietly on a covered bus stop, his back slouched and head down while he quietly contemplated upon his day, his swirly irises slowly spun, a sign that showed he was thinking about something. A sign only people close to him, basically, his parents could easily use to get him to speak the truth.
What had happened? That day at school, little Kouta was quietly putting everything away for the end of the day to go home, a routine he almost religiously followed every single day. This routine was broken when a girl from class, one that the guys called "Cute" came up to him and confessed her love. It caught him so off guard for so many reasons. He was smaller and easily lighter than her, along with the fact that he had never even spoken to a female teacher, much less a female student.
It was bewildering, almost impossible to understand, until, from the corner of his eye, he could see her little friend group snickering while she confessed. A prank, huh? Of course it was. Women were out in the world to ruin the lives of vulnerable, weak guys like him. As if they'd ever do something nice. Quietly sighing, his rage was so tremendous, though so quiet, he took out a rubber from his backpack, quite discretely so, beggining to leave silently. During that time, he had calculated a nice trajectory. It was an easy shot, one single ricochet. A quick throw to a table, followed by a quick bounce, directly into the mouth of one of the bitches, leaving her choking and her friends distracted. The quiet, scornful Kouta left off, right to the Bus Stop.
His thoughts moved to the only woman he trusted. His adoptive mother. A tall, slender redhead woman. Beautiful on both sides of the coin, persistent, hardworking. She was actually the first one to ever give him a bath, so she was the first of his parents to find out about the horrid treatment he had gotten at the Orphanage. Her tears, her tight hug and the repeated, slurred words of pity and horror over what had been done to him softened up his attitude. Through the years he grew with her and his father, he had grown accostumed to them, even loving, including his mother. Thanks to her, he was always ready to, even if with extreme restraint and some fear, he was ready to give a girl a chance, to show himself that there were still good people out there. He didn't believe it: to him, women were generally heinous monsters.
So many thoughts all at once in the poor boy's brain made him completely deaf and blind to what was around him. Just like someone sat next to him..

A farmer's market? That sounded great! Chise had read the ad posted in the local newspaper she happened to pick up yesterday coming back from the grocery store yesterday. She had never been to a farmer's market but she was sure they would have lots of fresh goodies she could use to create some delicious meals in her dorm room. Maybe it ranged from things such as vegetables to fruits to grains, maybe some miscellaneous things, she wouldn't know exactly until she got there! Chise slipped on a decent looking outfit, one of her comfy pastel blue flowered rompers with a baby pink top on underneath and her grey tennis shoes. Chise packed a small bag filled with a few things including her ID, her phone, some money, a small first aid kit, her medicine, and some water. Chise looked at herself in the mirror once, running a brush through her luscious red mane before deciding to head out to the bus stop to catch a bus.
Thankfully, there was a bus stop close to campus that wasn't just the shuttle to downtown. The shuttle really did come in handy, but she didn't think it would take her to wear the farmer's market was located. Chise walked over to the bus stop and sat down, noticing that someone else had been sitting on the other side of it. She didn't pay the other much mind as her only concern was waiting for the bus at the moment. The curly haired girl let out a soft yawn, perhaps she should take her medicine when she got on the bus since it had seemed it would take a little longer to get to the farmer's market. Perhaps, though, she should take it now so that she wouldn't be tired when she got to the market and she could look around. The redhead didn't notice that a few others had arrived at the bus stop as she was too busy in her own head thinking of when she should take her medicine. She was finding it a little hard to stay awake, maybe now would be better to take it. Curse this narcolepsy.

Well, Kouta didn't notice the girl sitting next to him for a good while, simply too lost in his thoughts, his constantly festering hate, to notice her. Though, while he fiddled with his thumbs, yawning a little bit while humming to himself, something happened that broke his focus and, instintively, made him start slowly slipping out his gauntlets from his large school bag, slipping them right onto his hands. What happened was that he started hearing a group of guys start harassing some girl next to him he hadn't even looked at yet, though, around this time, it was when the common thuggery would try to be "friendly" to girls they didn't know. They had to be confronted, to keep the peace in the streets.
Finally turning his face to his side, his eyes widened just a little, the swirls within his irises spinning a little faster. She-- She was just like Mom! Well, smaller, curvier and younger, but the hair was strikingly similar, her face had a similar shape! For some reason, he didn't even feel as hostile to her as he did to the normal stranger girl. Maybe it was simply his brain reacting positively to someone that looked like the person he saw as his mother. Either way, he had to break up the fight, so, to gain courage, he'd do something in public he hoped, since he was someone nearly no one noticed, no one would see: he took out the Lion Helmet.
Glancing quietly at the thugs who were now actively and forcefully flirting with the seemingly drowsy redhead, he sighed quietly and shakily, slamming the helmet right in. Under the mask, a smile formed on his face: finally awakened, after an entire day of nothing! Slowly getting up while taking out his beloved mace from his bag, he began spanking it against his palm, looking up at the taller guys. "Cease your criminal activities, foul degenerates! Your incessant harassment is disturbing the peace of the streets!" Met with laughter, of course. Lion Knight expected it since, with a quick slam of his mace into one of the man's chest, letting out a gut-wrenching thud, no one laughed anymore.

Chise was just about to take her medicine out of her bag when she felt someone rest their hand against her shoulder, causing the girl to jump a bit in her seat. Chise closed her bag and held it to her chest before turning back to look at the stranger, except it was not just one person, it had been three men she did not know. They weren't wearing school uniforms, well she wasn't wither, so she wasn't sure if they were students or not. "M-May I help you?" she asked, a little more awake in that moment than she was a second ago. "Yeah, what's a curvy cutie like you doing out here by yourself?" one of the taller men asked the redhead. Chise blinked before answering, "Waiting for the bus like a normal person would. This is a bus stop after all," she told them, not that afraid of the men since they hadn't tried anything with her as of yet. She didn't appreciate the rather foul language they were using but she would have to get through it if she wanted them gone.
"Well, my buddies and I noticed you were kinda sleepy here~ Why don't we all go out and have a good time together, to wake up the cutie in front of us~?" another one of the men asked, making Chise feel grossed out. They seemed to be older looking at her, which made her question why they were waiting at a bus stop close to the school. Chise looked at them before softly yawning and responding, "N-No that is alright...I have plans today," she replied curtly. "Awww come on babe? We're just looking to have a good time," the third man said before coming to her front and grabbing her arm, trying to pull her up. Chise winced and struggled, wanting to stay sitting on the bench. The violet eyed girl closed her eyes tight, not wanting to deal with ay of the confrontation until she heard a voice next to her speak up. Chise gasped and turned her head to look at a masked man, guessing it was the man who was sitting on the bench before she arrived here. The three men looked at him and began to laugh, "Oh and who are you supposed to be? The Lion Ki-?" the one man was cut short as a mac had hit him in the chest, sending him flying back a bit and releasing his grip on Chise. Chise winced, seeing the other get attacked and feeling his grasp rip from her own arm. Chise couldn't get up to get out of the way as one of the two remaining thugs still had a grip on her shoulders. Why did she have to get caught up in something like this? All she wanted to do was go to the farmer's market.

That's how you make them not laugh! Smash into them, get them to feel the consequences of their actions! Slowly beggining to close in, his expression invisible from the shadow his helmet constantly gave him, he slowly raised it, letting the remaining sun show them his eyes. Not angry, not calm. Pleased. In a sadistic way, irreversably injuring villains was simply too pleasing to him. At that time of day, not really anyone was walking around to see them that well. The girl could always call the cops, though he didn't count on that. The thugs would never call the cops, otherwise they'd be arrested too. They were his bitches, ripe for the beatings.
Lowering his face again, he let the handle of the mace slip down in between his fingers, his hand firmly holding the steel ball at the tip of his mace. One skilled, sudden throw was all that he needed to smash it directly into the second thug's face, with such force and precision his nose would actually turn concave, letting out quite the pleasurable crunch. As quickly as the mace had flied, it returned to L.K's hand, a quirk that allowed to bring that item back to him. Seeing the two fallen men, he looked at the third remaining one, the guy who surely would help his friends up and escape.
So they did, surely spouting several obscenities to cover up for their terrible loss at the hands of a "Kid". Assholes, he was probably the same age as them. Sighing quietly, he slipped his mace right back into his back, though he didn't dare to take his helmet off in front of Chise. Specially since he still needed to speak. Usually, he'd give a girl he helped some rude comment, though.. he couldn't bring himself to be that mean to her. "Get some actual sleep next time. I don't want to have to save you again." He said in a calm, though annoyed way, slowly slipping out his gauntlets, pushing them back inside his back. Now, he stopped. He could take off the helmet, she knew his face already - if he did, though, he'd show just how weak the real Kouta was truly.

The redhead covered her eyes with her hands as the fight went either way. She didn't like to watch things get bloody like she expected this would. Thankfully she couldn't see but the noises that rang through the air were enough to make Chise upchuck what little breakfast she had in her stomach. And she really did like that granola bar she ate before. Once the violet eyed femme heard footsteps stomping away, she slowly removed her hands from her eyes, her body a bit shaky from what had just happened. She might have some bruising on her arm and shoulders from those men but she could always cover them up with concealer if needed. The red haired beauty looked up at her savior, wanting to thank him for helping her but the words got stuck in her throat. All she could do was stare at him in these few moments of silence.
She was broken out of her trance when the noirette began speaking, telling her that she should get more sleep and that he didn't want to have to save her again. Chise's body trembled, his voice almost booming like that of the thunderstorms which she feared. "T-Thank you m-mister," she stuttered, finding it hard not to be scared in this moment. Maybe now since she had no other distractions, she could take her medication. The high school girl reached into her bag with trembling hands and grabbed her water and her pill bottle. She tried opening the bottle but with her shaky hands, she was finding it rather hard to. "d-darn....p-please open," she spoke softly under her breath as she so desperately wanted to take her medication. She just had to calm down and then she would be able to open the bottle properly. It was so hard to calm down when someone as tough as the man beside her was, probably looking down at her as some weakling.

Ah, a "thank you" from her. Her voice was shaky, scared. Scare of who, him? No good person needed to be afraid of the righteous Lion Knight, though the fact she looked like his mother made his heart soften up a bit. His tone and his voice are quite powerful, almost booming when doing his duty. She was surely just startled, scared and confused. Maybe this was the first time she ever had to confront such a situation as sex offenders, harassment. She looked easily younger than him, though maybe not by much. Her curves said so. Why did women even have curves like that? They looked useless.
Either way, with his hands now free, he decided to go against what he usually did and, instead, gently took away the pill bottle away from her hands, simply popping it open for her. Breathing in deep as he was already scolding himself internally for helping her, he got one pill on his palm, holding it up to her. "Here you go. Please take your medicine and calm down. You're safe now." L.K. assured her with his usual deep, superior voice, though it was way less loud, as well as the easing on his tone. He wanted to try to not scare her anymore, so much so that, when she took the pill, he closed the pill bottle and gave it back to her, sitting back down next to her, taking off his helmet, placing it on his lap. The young boy went back to looking down, feeling his anxiety slowly surfacing, fearing the moment he'd have to talk to her.

Just when she thought she was about to open her pill bottle, the hero who stood next to her took it out of her hands. "A-Ahh..." a soft noise left her mouth as she watched him hold it. Instead of keeping her medication for himself, he instead helped her by opening the pill bottle for her, a kind gesture of sorts. He even got her pill out for her, gently handing it to her for her to take. Chise looked up from his palm and into the eyes of the mask as she could not clearly see his eyes. "T-Thank you again m-mister," she stuttered once more, taking the pill and now closed pill bottle from him. She placed the single pill into her mouth before opening her water bottle and drinking it to take with her medicine, feeling it travel down her throat and into her stomach. A shaky sigh left her pink lips as she finally took her medication for the day, putting her water bottle and medication away as they were not needed anymore.
Chise looked down at her lap, holding her bag close to her chest as she continued to wait for the bus now that the fighting was over. "I-I'm sorry..." she spoke up, "I-I have to take medication for my condition but the symptoms don't always appear r-right away. I suffer f-from narcolepsy," the redhead confessed to the hero beside her. "E-Even though I'm training to become a hero...I still can't do a lot for myself. My quirk can't e-even help me in situations like what had just happened." The amethyst eyed girl turned her gaze to the other as he took his helmet off and held it on his lap. "I-If you wouldn't have been here, I would b-be a goner...thank you again," she said with a soft smile. She had to thank him somehow but he was only doing his job to protect her, she didn't know how she could really repay him for his act of kindness. She didn't think she would ever have to face a scary situation like that, it just goes to show that an act of villainy can occur at any moment.

Was it a thing with redheads? It seemed that the redhead females he had met were seemingly not bad people. Feeling himself at least able to talk around her, even after taking off his helmet, he simply listened to her explanation, meanwhile getting the helmet back into his backpack, a shaky smile on his young, cute and definitely not manly face, the swirls in his irises spinning quicker and quicker. He was, as he'd eternally be, incredibly socially anxious around girls, still unable to fully trust her.
Narcoleptic. At any moment, she's prone to just fall asleep at any moment. A bothersome condition, though it could be a much worse condition. Or well, she could have no actual conditions like him, that'd be lucky too. Now though, her insult of her own quirk was a bit out of place. Sure, it may not be that inclined for combat, if he's to believe her, but his quirk wasn't exactly that stellar with combat either. It was awfully simple and really usable just for utility. If he ever fought with it, it was when he was getting creative. "E-Ehm.. uhh.. y'know, all quirks can be useful and helpful, if you.. uh.. u-use them creatively! M-Mine is really nothing much, I swear!" He swore to her, while stammering around his pockets to grab his wallet, taking out a little coin. To show her, he simply threw the coin as far as he could, activating his quirk while it was mid-flight, forcing the coin to slow down, stop and jet right back to his hand. "S-See? I can only return things I've held back to my hand! I fought simply with strength a-a-and.. uhm.. aim. A lot of aim. And it's ok, really! I'm happy to help!"
Wow, he hadn't started to cry or just go silent, get up and run away. That was clearly something very good for him, seeing how he had a little bit of a slightly less shakier smile, though he always kept some distance from Chise. For example, he didn't even ask about her name - or give his own for that matter.

Chise looked over at the boy once he started speaking once again, telling her that all quirks In their own way can be useful in certain situations. She didn't believe him when he said his quirk wasn't much, it was still way more powerful and useful than hers was in a public situation like what had happened. The redhead watched as the noirette took a coin from his wallet and threw it into the air, only to recall it seconds after throwing it the air. The violet eyed girl watched in awe as the man easily recalled the coin back to his hand as it were nothing. It didn't seem like much to show but it definitely could be threatening in a fight. Chise spoke up once he was finished talking, "S-Still....it's a quirk that is more capable when fighting. You can actually defend yourself with your quirk. My quirk...I can only copy the voice of another through l-lip contact. I-It's pretty useless in a fight," the poofy haired girl told the hero beside her.
The once cheery girl looked down into her lap and began speaking once more, "I've always looked up to heroes, wanting to be one myself...but with my lack of skill and weak quirk, I doubt that dream would ever come to fruition. Maybe going to a hero school was a bad idea...I should have tried harder in my applications to get accepted into a non-hero school. I wouldn't have to worry about being weak when I could just throw away and disregard my quirk," the redhead got a little emotional, trying her best not to seem weak and defenseless in front of this stranger. She used her hands to wipe away any tears that formed in the corners of her eyes, not wanting the black haired man to see in in such a state.

Oh lord, now she had to make it awkward by starting to cry after loathing her own quirk. Admitedly, it wasn't the most direct of quirks when it came to fighting, but it definitely had its uses! But how could he calm her down? It was clear he at least didn't like to see her or people in general cry, even if they were female, since he grew ten times as anxious, stammering about on something to say. One thing he had seen on TV was to hug the person when you lacked words, though that was absolutely off of the field. If he dared to hug her, what would likely happen was that he'd get backstabbed and laughed at by a dozen people that would appear out of nowhere. It always happened like that, without fail.
Instead, he listened to her confessing that she was actually an U.A. student, something that definitely surprised him and actually gave him something to go on if he were to try to comfort her. "U-Uhm..! Actually! Uh.. I heard U.A. is not that easy to get into! Only really strong folk like reforming thugs, experienced fighters or useful and smart people get in! I-I mean, your quirk is not for someone that would directly fight, but I'm very sure you are worthy of being a hero! I-I'm not in U.A.! I.. I am kind of a vigilante.. pleasedon'tcallthecops." Starting a speech to motivate her and ending it with a plea for her to not call the cops. Classical Kouta, fucks up even with something that simple. By now, even he was on the brink of crying himself, already shaking slightly - his anxiety was becoming too much to bear, specially because he was way too close to a girl.

She didn't know why she was basically telling her life story to s stranger, it wasn't like it was all that important in the first place. That attack had really spooked her and she was doing her best to come back from it, she had never witnessed something like that, or rather, been apart of something like that before. Being a hero out in the open was not something the redheaded girl could manage, if she thought this was tough, going into spy work may be even harder compared to what the average hero ahs to go through on a daily basis. The now teary eyed girl softly sniffled, reaching into her bag for a few tissues before clearing any tears away that she had missed, trying to make herself more presentable to the other.
Once the redhead discarded her used tissues, she turned her head to listen to what the young hero beside her had to say. She didn't think she mentioned she went to U.A. but it was the most famous hero school in Japan thus far so she supposed anyone would come to that conclusion if you told them 'hero school'. She softly gasped, hearing the noirette say that she was worthy of becoming a hero. Her? A hero? Why would he think that, he didn't even know her and yet, he believed in her and her dream. She blinked and looked at him, hearing his last little rushed phrase of 'don't call the cops'. Why would she call the cops on someone like him, a Vigilante, who saved her from getting hurt. "W-Why would I do that?" she asked, rubbing her slightly red and puffy eyes. "You saved me from a s-scary situation and I am extremely grateful for that. I-I owe you for saving my life," she told him, wanting to give back to the young hero.

By now, he was expecting her to let the evil in her come through, though it wasn't coming yet. Was she actually that good at faking it, or was she truly a good person? Was she another exception like his mother? It was a possibility, though he knew very well not to rush things. He had to be careful about everything, lest he get hurt again. Instead, he simply calmed down just a wee bit, knowing that at least she wouldn't call the cops. Thanks to that assurance and her gratitude, he managed to keep his anxiety in check. "I.. uhm.. It's illegal. Vigilantism is illegal." He explained himself quietly, still being shy when talking to her, avoiding her gaze or looking at her at all moments. L.K felt contempt and even hatred for women. Kouta felt fear more than anything.
As they waited for the bus to arrive, Kouta's face brightened up a little, figuring that, finally, he'd be able to sit away from her and stay comfortable. He quickly picked up his things and, with a short bow to Chise, he got right onto the bus, quickly paying his fare with his student card and sitting at the back of the bus. The back was empty, which meant he got to sit by the window, alone. Or was he? Would he truly be alone?

Illegal? Being a vigilante was illegal? But G was a vigilante, did that mean he was breaking the law as well? She didn't have much time to thin about it and ask the boy any more questions as the bus pulled up. She watched him get up and bow before getting on the bus, she supposed she would meet him again one da.....wait this was her bus too! Chise mentally scolded herself before standing up, a soft chuckle leaving her lips as she got on the bus as well. "This bus will take me to the farmers market, is that correct? I might have gotten my busses mixed up," the redhead explained to the female driver. The woman driving the bus smiled at Chise and shook her head, "No, this bus will get you there," she told the young high school girl. Chise's eyes lit up, knowing she hadn't made any mistakes, "Ah, thank you so much!" the violet eyed woman said before paying her fare and making her way onto the bus before it began to move.
The bus seemed a little crowded, very few seats were open, it had seemed either a lot of people had heard about the farmer's market as well or they were all going to different places. Chise frowned and looked around, hoping to find a seat to sit on the bus. Luckily, there happened to be a spot open next to the boy who had saved her only minutes prior. With a soft smile she made her way back to him. "P-Pardon me," she said before sitting down next to him, hoping that she wasn't invading on his seat at all. She knew her legs were a bit big but she didn't think her chubby thighs would be hurting anyone. Chise was quiet for a little bit as the bus began moving until she remembered what she had wanted to ask the boy before the bus came. "I-I wanted to ask you where you were headed today...if that's not too much to ask. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to," the poofy haired femme asked, hoping to make small talk until her stop arrived.

Little Kouta was just expecting to be quietly sat down, not caring about anything in the world.. then he heard her voice again, then her body sitting down so close to him. Quickly, he began sweating almost profusely, shivering a little from the anxiety over her closeness. There was really nowhere else for her to sit and, so far, she had been nice to him, so he couldn't push her away. He knew she definitely would look pretty to other people. Hell, he confessed she looked pretty, along with the curves she had. He quickly showed it was fine for her to sit with a little nod of his head and a slightly forced smile, his eyes slipping to how close her legs were to him. Jesus, how could thighs get that big..? They did look soft, like Mama's lap..
OH, where was he headed now? Well, that was quite obvious, this bus was really going to end up in one place, though it'd take like.. at least a hour. A hour he'd be trawling through painfully. "..Uhm.. the farmer's m-market. I.. I usually buy some produce there and.. th.. uhm." It was difficult for him to confess what was coming next, since his hobby had been terribly mocked by girls before. So far, she had proved herself to be nice, so, this would just be another test. Breathing in deep, he looked to his side, in her general direction. "And then.. I usually play the violin for.. the- .. the people there." He said, even showing the violin case that was strapped to the side of his backpack.
