I don't
Thanking the officer for helping her out, Ene continued down the streets of Musutafu, hoping to quickly get back to the dorms of Yuuei where she stayed.
Her feet dragged along the pavement, as if they were lacking the energy that most people, especially someone of her age, would normally have.
Ene felt drained, her light-headedness having been constantly bugging her for the past two days, and especially in the last twenty minutes.
She had already decided what a horrible idea it was to have gone out while she was this sick.
Fortunately, the aforementioned police officer had been kind enough to give her a hand in picking up her dropped groceries, which had fallen due to her lethargic grasp on the plastic bags that carried them.
She had felt as if she were on the verge of fainting, as she were about to fall face-first into the concrete at any second.
Oh, how she wished she could just lay in her bed right now.
Ene's eyes could only see blurs, only because she was too tired to focus on anything. She was like a zombie, walking with only one purpose. Except she was walking to get home, not stumble upon an unlucky sap to devour the brains of.
At some point during her sleep-walk, Ene had taken an odd turn which led her straight into a disgustingly grungy alleyway.
How clichéd. This was where criminal stuff usually happened, right? Muggings, murders and other unspeakable stuff.
Ene decided that this was no place for someone like her to be in, turning around to march straight out of the alley.
Only to bump into a unkempt man who was about fifteen centimeters shorter than her. She noticed that he had a very fit body, but was not much of a looker.
He started talking, but she could not hear a word he said. She was just too tired.
When he came closer, Ene had to step back, not wanting him to get into his personal space.
A frown made itself apparent on her face, as she was backed up against a wall.
Another man of similar body and facial structure had appeared beside him, the only difference being is height. He was much taller, maybe even taller than Ene.
Either way, she was backed up against a wall, with two men of unknown motives coming upon her and her being too weak to retaliate.
Regaining her senses at just the last moment, Ene realised just what kind of predicament she was in.
And she started to panic.
Feel so good

Oh, what a day! He had gotten off of school earlier than most people at his school would, thanks to the fact that he isn't part of any group, which meant he had more time to brave the streets and watch out for crime! Well, not blatantly, he still had to cover himself up as much as he could. So, while hiding his helmet in his large shcool-bag, he was wearing the rest of his outfit under his uniform jacket and scarf, the noise of Musutafu easily drowning out the light clanking of metal on his step. That meant if in the case that he were to see some trouble, he could just step aside, put on his helmet and jump right into action! Lo and behold, he got that exact chance right when he was passing by an alleyway, witnessing a MASSIVE woman get cornered by some small rat and an even more MASSIVE guy. To him, she seemed a bit "out of it", maybe she was on drugs and just having fun with the guys. Maybe they drugged her. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, he just stood by a wall quite quietly, listening in, always watching. Then, she began visibly panicking, which was when he realised that she was essentially about to become a victim of sexual assault. He quickly took out his helmet and mace from his bag, dropping it as he put on the final piece of his hero costume. Throwing away his jacket with his left arm, he grabbed onto the ball of the mace tightly, taking aim. Thankfully, they were standing still and hadn't noticed him yet so, with one clean throw, he threw the 2KG steel ball as hard as he could, directly into the smallest one's head. A clean shot, a clean knock-out. Hopefully, this was enough of a distraction. " By order of all that is good and just, stop right there, criminal scum!" Let out the Knight as he began stepping forward towards the villain. Just the helmet made him feel way more confident, evident in every single move of his: His step was stronger and heavier, his posture upright and fearless. He was a warrior for justice, there was no time to be scared. He raised his right hand, putting in some effort to bring it back from the ground to his hand, holding it tight within his fingers, always keeping it in a diagonal way in front of him. "Step away from the girl and leave this place, lest you suffer the righteous punishment of justice!" He warned, his confidence drowning out the warnings that the tall guy might be a bit too much for him, specially if he had a quirk, simply by saying that, if he was a big shot, he'd just smash his kneecaps. Not the best way to drown it out, but the confidence did the trick.@ tag # # # notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Checking the shopping list that Enzo had provided her with, Rin was looking completely spaced out. There were so many things that they needed at home. Basic things like toilet paper, soap, toothpaste. Combined with the shopping wishes for food items, it was a rather enormous list of things to acquire. Yet Rin was given so few funds to get it all bought with. For Rin, this wasn't an uncommon occurrence at all. Since Enzo, her father, hated coming face to face with the reality of their economic standing, he simply ordered the girl to get things sorted. Then, when Rin came home and had to admit, that his expectation of wares, with the budget he had given her to work within, remained an unrealistic dream, Enzo would enrage and be furious. If he had been the one shopping and haggling it would've been possible! It was simply unrealistic...
So to appease her father, the things that were typically cut from the list, were items that mostly benefitted herself. Cutting down on the usage of toothpaste, only using it every other day. Cutting down on food expenses, mostly eating cheap meals like cup noodles. Seeking deals for school equipment by finding the books used. Rin could typically barely make it work week to week. Even so, despite these sacrifices, Enzo remained unhappy. Sighing softly, the girl checked her shopping bag. This would about have to do for the day. Swinging the bag over her shoulders, Rin had begun moving home, keeping her wares securely locked away.. Rin was wearing a simple, slightly too large white blouse. From her waist to just below her knees, a simple green skirt covered her skin. On her feet, a pair of simple sandals. The girl very much looked like she could've gone by the beach wearing this. Stepping through the shopping district in a quickened pace - Rin did not enjoy loitering around for too long when she had no purpose being there - the girl came upon a strange scene...
A girl seemed almost cornered by two older guys. Pressed against a wall, she also seemed slightly worse for wear. Perhaps the heat was getting to her a little bit. Narrowing her eyes, inspecting the scene, Rin wasn't quite sure what to make of it. The guys didn't seem to be immediately threathening to the young woman. Nor did the young girl seem to be calling for help, despite a police officer being right around the corner. Deducing that the situation probably wasn't even remotely as dangerous as it initially looked, Rin decided to simply stand around and watch. To wait it out. As the situation wasn't immediately dangerous, there wasn't a need to escalate things. That could only make things infinitely worse...
As if on cue, one of the two guys was hit upside the head by a steel ball, coming out of seemingly nowhere. A disgusting runching sound echoed through the alley from the impact, as the man collapsed onto the ground unconscious. Shocked, Rin's eyes were widened to their limit. The downed man had blood coming from an open gash somewhere under his hair. There were all sorts of possible complications with such a heavy blow to the head! Concussion was easily possible - possibly even a wishful outcome compared to the alternatives. At least then it couldn't possibly be worse. Immediately rushing in there, almost falling over her own legs in the process, Rin screamed at the newly arrived vigilante who had clearly acted before thinking or assessing the situation. "What the hell are you doing you lunatic?! You might've killed him. Whats that for justice!?" Tossing her backpack aside, the girl fell to her knees besides the man. Flicking open his eyes, there was no response to light.
Shouting back towards the entrance, Rin did the only thing she found reasonable; Called for help. "Officer?! Officer, please!! Call an ambulance!!"

What A Cute face
Her eyes widened ever so slightly at the newcomer to the scene, narrowing back down to maintain her sickly facade.
Ene was sick, but she was making it seem much worse than it actually was.
Part of her felt sympathy for the poor sap whose head suffered from the brunt force of the weighty iron ball, but the rest of her quickly suppressed that part of her morality.
She took a deep breath, spotting the brief window of opportunity, opened by the newcomer's sudden butting in and outburst towards the vigilante.
It was not the perfect distraction by any means, but no one was looking directly at her, and that was more than enough.
In one swift motion, like she was taught, her hand lightly tugged on the standing man's wallet, which was peeking out of his pocket.
Slowly pulling it out was actually more likely to attract attention, which Ene did not really understand, but accepted nonetheless.
Once the wallet was out of the danger zone, Ene exhaled, looking away as she placed it into the baggy pants of her gym uniform.
She found it comfortable, though the shirt variant was a little too tight, prompting her to wear one of her own shirts instead. Specifically one with meek letters spelling out a sentence that she was too lazy to remember.
Ene was relieved that she could breathe freely now, even moreso by the fact that she had hopefully made up for getting fired from her previous job.
She knew that neither of her parents would approve of what she was doing, but at least she was not draining their bank accounts of their hard-earned cash just because she needed an allowance.
That, for her, was enough to justify what she was doing.
Beads of sweat rolled down her face, with her breath getting ragged.
Ene realised that her acting probably needed to be worked on, but she had to make do for now if she wanted to keep up her little act.
i'll use that

A wonderful "crunch" from a villanous head! Justice had been done by the great punishing power of the Lion Knight and everything would turn out fine. That was, until some annoying little girl began screaming at him about the lack of justice in killing a clear rapist. Foolish woman, just like the rest of them. He did not even honor her with a word, simply glancing at her and looking away. He had better things to do, like go after the second guy who had been hoping that he got forgotten. A grin formed under his mask as he began a hot chase after the man, brandishing his recently-returned mace. The man ran away in a horrified manner, unwilling to suffer the same fate as his friend. To run away from justice, just the worst kind of person! Spinning his mace around, he attempted to throw the thing at the man, missing by some inches. Throwing things while moving still was slightly out of his range, specially with something heavier than a few grams. He escaped from him, but not for long. Lion Knight now knew his face and he'd never forget. Hissing, he stretched out his right hand, bringing back the mace once again, his frame stopping to turn back to the two girls. The one he saved had run away, quite rightfully so and the other one was tending to the health of the criminal, like a heinous accomplice.. and calling for the authorities. The harlot! To call the corrupt authorities who would oppose his rightful crusade! Through gritted teeth and knowing his own limits, he swallowed his own pride and ran away while he still could, changing clothing on the first alleyway he managed to find, hoping to god that no one had seen him on the act. @ tag # # # notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
