Nudged out of her own little world, Rin slowly rose her sapphire blue eyes, eventually settling onto Ryuusei. We all know she's gorgeous. A soft blush appeared on Rin's cheeks, as she immediately looked away, embarassed. Not only was it embarassing to have Minato-san say the words out loud, raising her gaze to be met with Ryuusei's glance only cemented her embarassment further. "D-don't mind.. I-I-It's fine.. I d-didn't even notice." Rin stuttered in response to the apology. The apology only meant that Ryuusei admitted to staring. So it had stopped being a speculation and instead become a thing. He was staring at her because she was gorgeous? Oh how she wished she could disappear into a hole right about now... Fortunately for Rin, the embarassment aimed directly in her face, was quickly defused by Hiroko-san, as the elder woman began explaining how her and Minato had met...
Stories from childhood, it was quite endearing. Endearing and, it allowed Rin a little reprieve. The only comment Rin shared was in regards to Ryuusei's aversion to travelling motorized. "..It must be harsh, being unable to travel easily, though. Hopefully the teachings at Yuuei can help him overcome the aversion...?" Rin offered the ones seated a selfless smile. It must've been a strange event to witness. A wounded, tiny little creature, who ought to be worrying mostly about herself, still worrying about others. The girl's capability in empathy must've been quite extraordinary. Quietly, Rin was returning to eating her meal, making sure to remain disciplined and polite. Compared to Ryuusei, she was eating slow and methodical. Compared to Minato, the girl was eating practically only peanuts. Hiroko, on the other hand, had the sense to eat more reserved. The woman had a keen eye for detail, so when she needed a new portion, so did Rin. Therefore, with a little bit of diversion tactics, she ended up having Rin eat significantly more than she would've, if she had been left to her own devices. In fact, when the meal was done, Rin felt absolutely stuffed, and had no idea how it had happened.
Practically glued to her seat, Rin was struggling with having almost overeaten. Panting softly, it was eating all the girl's energy. Rin had gotten exhausted from eating, plus it was getting rather late. Turning her head, as Hiroko spoken, Rin's expression said it all. ...but I promised my father to come home. It also spoke another sentence. I cannot selfishly abuse your hospitality.. Even so.. It would be rude to just eat and go home... "H-hai, Hiroko... b-but you should let me help.." Rin replied meagerly. Things were evolving too quickly for her to follow, and at this point, all the raven haired maiden wished to do, was get some much deserved sleep.. If Rin knew Ryuusei right, from what little interaction the two had had thus far, Hiroko and Minato already knew about her desire to move into Yuuei. So Rin simply trusted, put her faith in these kindly neighbors. Following Ryuusei upstairs, there wasn't much of a spring left in Rin's step...
Peeking into Ryuusei's room, this was the first time that Rin could remember, where she had seen anyone elses room. Rin was somewhat hesitant in entering, and wasn't replying much to what he had to say. It almost seemed the girl was afraid of invading his privacy... So when he suggested the guest room, Rin simply nodded her head contently, as he guided her way. At home, Rin was practically sleeping in the guest room, so she hadn't been expecting anything much. Instead, what awaited her, was a properly furnished room. Everything was clean, the scent was heavenly. For a few short moments, Rin just stood there, wondering what having a real room - a room like this - might be like. As Ryuusei said his goodnights, Rin was left alone...
Sitting down on the bed, the coils were so soft and unwinding, that it was like sitting on a cloud. So soft, so comfortable. Just sitting there, Rin was trying to work through all the chaotic thoughts in her mind... Trying to work out what had happened on this day... Long before her mind reached peace or a conclusion, her body gave out. Snuggled up into the softness... It was warm, comfortable. The door out into the corridor even remained ever so slightly open, reminding Rin that she was not locked inside. If the girl needed to go to the bathroom, she could...
In these few precious moments, Rin felt a little bit of happiness...
